Gangles Secret

((Ler!Jax Lee Gangle. SFW Only! Not a ship!))

Gangle sat on her bed sniffing quietly as she doodled in her journal. Her comedy mask had been broken again and drawing always helped her feel better. The ribbon character was drawing some slightly embarrassing sketches of herself being tickled silly. She had always wanted someone to gently tickle her, but she could never ask for it, so this was the next best thing.

Gangle was so deep into her doodles, she didn’t hear her door open or the sound of footsteps approaching.

“Hey crybaby, Ragatha says I’m supposed to come apologize for breaking your mask again so- heeeey, whatcha drawing?” Gangle nearly threw herself off her bed at the sound of Jax’s teasing voice.

“J-Jax! Nothing, just doodles!” She stammered out, holding her journal close to her chest. If she could blush, she would have been beet red in the face. Jax raised an unconvinced eyebrow and snatched the book from Gangle, causing her to cry out in a panic.

“Jax no!” The resident bunny snickered as he opened the notebook. Luckily, the more embarrassing stuff was more in the center.

“What, you drawing something nasty? My, my Gangle, I didn’t think you were so dirty minded.” Gangle whimpered and tried to grab her journal back, while Jax wandered in circles while he flipped absently through the pages. He had to admit, most of the sketches were actually pretty good.

“Dang, kid. You aren’t half bad at this drawing thing. I’m sure Caine would love you to design something for new scenes or- oh! What’s this?” Jax’s rare compliment was cut off as he saw Gangles tickle art. He looked at the drawings and then at Gangle, who looked ready to sink into the very ground.

“J-Jax…. Please don’t tell the others.” She whimpered, twisting her ribbon hands nervously. Jax’s cheeky grin faltered a bit. He was torn- on the one hand, he totally wanted to tell the gang. On the other hand, he was worried that might break poor Gangle, and loathe as he was to admit it, he cared about her feelings.

“Don’t worry. I won’t tell ‘em. Scouts honor.” Jax held up 3 fingers in a salute. Gangle relaxed a tiny bit.

“Yah know, if this is the sorta thing you want, I’d be happy to give it to you.” Jax said, closing the book and setting it to the side. Gangle looked stunned.

“R-really? You don’t think it’s weird.” Jax’s grin returned.

“Oh, it’s weird as [BLEEP]. But that’s nothing new here.” Jax plunked himself on the bed next to the drama character.

“So! What’ll it be? You want me to, Yah know.” Jax raised his hands and wiggled his fingers at Gangle, who couldn’t suppress the tiniest giggle.

“U-Uhmmmm….. okay. Just be gentle?” Jax smiled brightly and stood.

“I’ll be right back! Don’t move.” Jax sprinted out of the room, leaving Gangle confused and flustered. What on earth was Jax up to? She didn’t have to ponder this very long before the rabbit came back with an armful of tickly supplies. The sight alone made Gangle feel strangely giddy inside.

“Jax…. Wh-what is all that?” She asked as the bunny laid everything out.

“Just a few supplies. Your drawings had a ton of this stuff, so I thought you might like ‘em.” Jax explained gesturing to the assortment of feathers, paintbrushes, and what looked a bit like makeup brushes.

“O-oh…l-…..Jax you really didn’t have to go through all this trouble for me. It’s okay if you don’t want to do this.” Jax turned to face her, planting his fists on his hips.

“Are you kidding? What about me says I wouldn’t take this opportunity to mess with you?” Gangle fell silent. He did have a very good point.

“Now! Where to begin?” Jax drawled, pacing in a circle around Gangle, twirling a long feather between his thumb and index finger. He may have promised to keep her secret, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t gonna tease her relentlessly. Gangle giggled nervously as she eyed him.

“J-Jahahax. Don’t do that!” Jax smirked cheekily at her.

“Don’t what? I’m just trying to find a perfect spot to attack first.” Gangle squeaked and hid her face shyly at the teasing. Jax grinned viciously and swiped the feather under where he chin would be, causing her to squeal.

“EEK! Jax it tickles!” She tittered uncovering her face so she could halfheartedly bat the rabbit away. Jax smiled and retracted the feather, checking to make sure Gangle was alright. She gave him a wobbly smile.

“Y-you stopped.” She remarked. Jax nodded.

“Want me to continue?” He teased, flicking the feather across where Gangles stomach would be making her flinch with a fit of giggles.

“Y-yehehahahah.” Jax beamed and switched his feather out for a paintbrush.

“I was hoping you’d say that.” He replied using the brush to stroke shapes along Gangle’s mask, while his free hand skittered lightly between her middle ribbon loops making sure to keep his touch light, sending her into fits of bright laughter. When Jax switched tools again and used the makeup brush beneath her chin and along her jaw, Gangle squealed with laughter, hiccuping in between giggles.

“Jahahahax! *hic* Nohoho mohohore! Pleahehehease!” Gangle wrapped her satin hands around the bunny’s wrists and gently pushed, signaling that she was at her limit. Jax took the hint and ceased his tickles, dropping the brush.

“Heh, you okay Gangle?” He asked, while the masked character caught her breath.

“Hehehe yeah. Thanks Jax. I-I needed that.” She answered, smiling shyly at the purple rabbit. Jax waved her off.

“Hey, no problem. And, if you ever want more, you know,” Jax paused and wiggled his fingers lightly at Gangle,

“Just come visit your old pal Jax and I’ll getcha good.” Gangle nodded and smiled softly.

“O-okay. I’ll try.” Jax winked and stood.

“Oh, by the way. You really should smile more. Even without your comedy mask it’s nice.” Gangle made a flustered noise and chucked a pillow at Jax who ran out laughing. But she did feel much better and when she joined her friends for dinner, her comedy mask was fixed and waiting at her spot with a note that read,

“In case of emergency, here’s your smile.”

The small doodle in the corner was a messy self portrait of a certain rabbit. Gangle considered herself very lucky indeed.

Izzy sits at the corner of the plane seat, curled into a ball. She puffs her breath since Owen threatened to break up with her if she started beef again with Chef. She whines as she stays in her seat, rocking back and forth, popping bubbles in her mouth.

“Ugh…. Could you be any louder…?” Noah groaned, he covered his ears before lifting his legs. He laid them down right next to Izzy, big mistake of his… a thought lifted her frown into a smile…

He felt his shoe getting lose, before he could tug it. He felt a hand grab him by the ankle.

“Hey? Izzy? Wait what’re you-?!” He watched his shoe tumble on the ground, he then saw his sock fall on the ground.

“Hope you ready Noah…” Izzy giggles, she lifted her free hand, wiggling her fingers in the air. Noah tried to tug his foot away, his hands kept sliding off the seat.

“AGH!!!!” Noah squealed, his foot shook with every finger that spidered up his toes. Izzy giggles, she traps Noah’s toes, she watches as he desperately twitches. Noah bangs his head against the seat, he covers his head, laughing harder every second.

“Shouldn’t we stop this?” Tyler questions,

“I don’t know I kinda wanna watch what happens next.” Owen leans on his hand.

“Well we can call this free entertainment.” Alejandro smirks, Noah turns to him, trying to hold a glare and his puffed up laughs. Izzy pauses for a moment, Noah gasps as he lifts his head look at her.

“Okay.. you had your fun Izzy. Now let me go, or I’ll- YAGH!!!” Noah burst out laughing as Izzy snuck her hand back to his sole. This was the first time she’s heard him laugh so hard because of her. She watched as he tried to hard to curl in his foot. Noah covered his face, blocking the boys’ view of the tears flooding around his face.

“Izzy! PLEHEHEASE! STOP IT! I CANT TAKE ANY-*HIC!*-MORE!” Noah choked out, Izzy couldn’t even understand what he was saying as everything that came out his mouth was cut off by a hiccup. Noah jerked closer to the edge of the seat, he fell down to the floor. The loud thud caught Team Victory’s attention.

He started kicking with his free leg. All it felt like to Izzy was some soft shoves. She then grabbed his other ankle.

“Thank you for letting me know Noah. I agree. I think the other foot is feeling lonely.” Izzy started untying his other shoe.

“Wait! WAIT! NOHOHO! IZZY THATS NOT WHAT I MEANT! IZZY LET ME GOHO!” Noah couldn’t help but laugh, if it was irritating before, it’ll definitely be hell for him now.

“Let me experiment real quick..” Izzy pecked at his socked foot, Noah squeaked, she pecked his bare foot, he squeaks once more. Izzy noticed a quicker reaction without the sock on. Noah felt the last bit of protection peel off his feet. She wrapped her arms around Noah’s defenseless legs.

“I’d rather not hog him up you guys. Anyone like a turn?” Izzy turned to the others.

Noah’s face turned pale.

“Wait, don’t bring other people into this!” Noah whimpered. It didn’t take long for everyone to gang up on him, for the next hour, he was a laughing mess.

“I’m gettin bored of just this spot. Let’s make it more fun for him..” Alejandro went to Noahs head. He pulled Noah’s arms up, exposing his sucked in belly.

“Hey-! *HIC!* Nonono please..!” Noah laughed out.

The rest of team victory all dove into his belly, all Noah could feel was the sensations of soft, cold hands rubbing and poking his belly and feet. He was struggling more to catch a breath now that his two worst spots were being mercilessly tormented. His squeals and screams began to sound more agitated than pleasurable.

His desperate cries for help eventually reached Team amazon.

Courtney intervened, forcing Izzy to let Noah go. He laid on the ground, panting, hiccuping, choking on his own giggles. His body kept twitching.

“You’re lucky I got my wiggles out now Noah. But next time it’ll be on my time only.” Izzy laid her head on the wall behind her. Her snores signaled everyone else to go back to what they were doing. Noah hugged he tightly, thanking her for saving him, at the corner of his eye, he saw Alejandro glaring at him.

His green eyes showed a sign of malice, it unnerved him slightly….

The Brothers Sun S01E06: Behind the scenes with John Cho's "house" (not actually his house)

Episode 6, “Country Boy,” features the brothers and friends hiding out at the least-expected safe house of all time: actor John Cho’s palatial pad on the beach, every wall of which features Cho-inspired art, like framed magazine covers and an Andy Warhol-inspired portrait. As an industry veteran, Falchuk says “There were a couple of details there which I’ve actually seen in other famous people’s houses, where I was like, ‘Oh, we gotta put that in there.'” (Alas, he declines to specify what kinds of details, or famous people, he might be referring to.) Falchuk credits writer Amy Wang for really embracing the bit, and “creating this character of John Cho who’s a massive narcissist, who is obsessed with himself. The joke of that seemed really funny because it’s counter to who he really is, and also it’s perfect for the character of Bruce to see like, oh, this is what a successful actor lives like.” Says Tancharoen, “I remember reading that episode and laughing so hard. And [Viet Nguyen], when he directed that episode, he killed it because on the page it was so funny, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, how is this going to translate?'” The team wanted to make sure that the real-life Cho was comfortable with the idea, so Falchuk cold-called Cho’s representation and explained it. “I said, this is what we’re saying — I don’t want there to be any surprises, and if John has a problem with any of this, we’ll either change it or we just won’t do it,” Falchuk says. “Like, this has got to be an honoring of him and how cool he is.” Cho’s response, according to Falchuk: “He said, ‘Just go for it. Just have fun.’ And then he saw some of the stuff we had done, and apparently was very tickled by it — and asked for the Warhol. And the slippers or the robes, I think we sent him those. I really hope that he likes it when he sees it, because it’s a salute.” Tancharoen also kept one of the John Cho robes seen in the episode, and confirms that Cho did record the “John Cho’s house” greeting heard at one point. “The fact that he was totally down with it made it that much more special,” he laughs.

Sometimes, I genuinely worry about the, what is it - Generation Z? Those who are about aged 20 or so. A lot of fic writers are in this age range, or at least they write like it/their concept of experiences read like it. (Nothing wrong with that at all, just gives off that vibe.) That's not the worrisome part. Not even the rise in CNC or dom/sub or like degradation kinks or anything like that. Those aren't worrisome - whatever tickles your pickle. What is worrisome, that I often see, is the loop around. I'll explain.

Character A (often male) will be a total and complete fuck-head; an asshole of epic proportions and Character B (often female or "reader") will get pissed about something and tell Character A to get fucked, rightfully so. OR Character A just yells at Character B for something because Character A is so "damaged" and they were pushed "too far" or something and Character B gets their feelings hurt, again - rightfully so. Anyway - so this event happens. Character A will often storm out or leave or something. And Character B will be angry/devastated/crying or whatever.

And okay, drama - I get it. But the issue that happens, the worrisome part... is that they will write Character B looping back around in their head and somehow believing that the whole thing really was their fault? Like "oh I shouldn't have pushed him that far" or "I really was being a bitch that day" or something and then Character B will completely take the blame for the whole thing and will be the one to apologize to Character A. And I'm always left sitting there just blinking at the screen. Because... that's not okay. That's really not okay. That's the loop around.

And I see this a lot. From a lot of different writers. And I genuinely hope that they know... that this is not okay in real life. Because art imitates life. We write about what we know and what we see and experience. And... this is not okay. Sometimes, yes - we can be a bitch and push buttons on purpose (male, fem, non-binary doesn't matter, I use bitch as a descriptive word) but we are responsible for our own actions. Not anyone else's. How someone reacts is their responsibility. While you can totally apologize for your behavior, you absolutely do not take all the blame if their response was to scream at you and storm out, making you think your entire relationship was over. Because keeping someone on edge like that? Pulling the rug out from under them and creating an environment with zero security? That's emotional abuse. Big time.

Over-reacting and loosing one's temper - not okay. Especially when you should be able to be a fucking adult and handle the situation while keeping in mind that you are still talking to the person you supposedly love. That's why things like name calling and shit are absolutely not okay, even in arguments - because they're still talking to their fucking partner. And if their anger has made them forget that? Or if they somehow think it's okay to call their partner names or say things specifically to hurt them? Then they are the asshole in the situation. If they're always threatening to leave or always kicking you out? That's fucking abuse, too.

So while I understand that there are kinks that revolve around degradation (not my bag but hey whatever) - there is a difference between playtime and real time. And when it's not playtime, that shit is not okay. And I really, really hope that these writers know that. Because seeing "reader" or Character B systematically, across multiple fics, multiple writers, take the blame for Character A's shitty behavior? It's worrisome.

Tori Vega 🎤

As a ler!

Tori isn't much of an instigator- compared to the others at Hollywood Arts, she's obviously not as extroverted and snappy. But she is amazing at getting her revenge using tickle-tactics she had learnt from having a little sister with an overblown ego (who is literally the best character LMAO). Uses tickling to persuade her friends more often than not, most notably Robbie and Cat. She once tickled her as an intervention for her serious bibble addiction, but it backfired on her when she learnt that she actually enjoyed being tickled. When she is one, Tori enjoys being a ler immensely. Her most frequently targeted spots are her victim's torso, including their tummy and sides. Her raspberries are intense, vocal training makes her lung capacity huge and she always uses them as her secret weapon.

As a lee!

Tori is an incredibly flustered lee. She gets all embarrassed when she's being tickled, her most frequent lers are Trina, Jade and Cat, and she's usually tickled as a means to cheer her up or for revenge. Her worst spots are her tummy and neck. She always goes into silent laughter when being tickled, and does the thing where she shrugs her neck whenever someone tickles it. Unrelated, but in drama class, we played this game where groups of kids lied on each other's stomachs. One kid had to fake-laugh, and the whole shebang was that when they laughed it would tickle your stomach and you'd start laughing and it would go on and on and on bc it tickled. Sounds like something Sikowitz would do.

Jade West ✂️

As a ler!

Do you want to live? If so, don't get on Jade's ler-side. As proven in canon, Jade is an extremely evil ler. She definitely has tickled ever single one of her classmates- and wrecks Beck to the absolute death. She's definitely in the community, and is absolutely sadistic when it comes to tickling. Cat literally asks her to tickle her because she's just that good. The only people who manage to get tickled by Jade are people who don't value their lives. Definitely uses verbal teases and baby talk. Likes to reference The Scissoring while tickling her lee, definitely likes to have her lers in inescapable holds and straddles. Also. That smug SMIRK. So ler. I guarantee you whenever the script calls for a tickle interrogation scene, she'll volunteer to be a ler. Ruthless, cunning and skillful. Her favorite spots to tickle are literally everywhere, when she finds a great spot, she will exploit it and tickle it for what seems like hours.

As a lee!

This girl is the biggest brat to ever brat in her whole life. She is the type to make a growling noise as she grits her teeth when tickled, the only person she'll let tickle her is Beck, who still gets injured time and time again. Super ticklish, worst spots are her ribs, especially the lower ribs, and armpits, and takes it to her grave. Her most frequent ler is an oblivious Cat, who always gets tickled back tenfold. Her laugh is husky and haughty, and are about as scary as her screams.

Beck is a ladies man at heart and uses tickling to flirt much to Jade's dismay (she TOTALLY wrecks him when she finds out) and play with the hearts of Hollywood Arts. His most frequent lee, however, is Jade. He likes to act all sweet when tickling people, complimenting their laughter and whatnot. Sometimes, he also tickles Robbie and Andre who always get their revenge on him. His favorite spots to tickle are the neck and the sides.

Beck may be a skilled ler, but because of that he always gets his just desserts, namely from Robbie (and a teasy, chatty Rex), Andre and Jade. His worst spots are his ribs, tummy and the underside of his neck, and he is NOT immune to rib-counting, especially the slow way his gf does it. His laugh is high-pitched and squeals, and he's absolutely WEAK to baby-talk. He also likes to cover his face.

Cat is a fun ler, likes to play tickle games and tease with repeated baby talk! She's adorable as a ler, will stop when told to, and has so much fun tickling others. Always asks Jade if she can get revenge on her, but she's always interrupted by her fingers on her tummy. She loves to casually tickle people as a greeting. She's probably tickled everyone in Hollywood Arts (including Rex, lmao she wanted to try) and THEN some.

Cat's worst spots are literally everywhere, especially her belly, belly button and armpits, and the back of her shoulders. She calls her tickle spots her "happy spots" and will jump even BEFORE you tickle her. Has a crazy, high-pitched and frantic squealing laugh, and will blush so hard when people ask if she's having fun. One day the friend group tired of her constant tickle-pranking and decided to get revenge. She did not object, obviously. Cat always asks her ler to tickle her again- and again- and again- you get the point.

Robbie Shapiro 👓

As a ler! Robbie tries his best to be a ler, it works sometimes (on Cat, and his friends when it's warranted) but not always (obviously). When he DOES get the upper hand, which is when his puppet is not belittling him, he's an awkward ler. His favorite spot to tickle is the tummy, and he loves to rub it in the lee's face that he's tickling them. He loves being a ler because it's an incredible novelty for him somehow, and teases his lee by making snarky comments and using techniques others have used on him in the past.

As a lee! Robbie is constantly picked on as a lee by Jade and the boys. Usually because he (or Rex) said something stupid. Rex will join in on making Robbie the butt of the joke by teasing him. His worst spots are his armpits, the sides of his ribs and his bellybutton. He has an awkward, wheezy laugh much like his personality and pleads for mercy.

Andre Harris 🎹

Mate, this man literally likes playing the piano. Tickling the ivories. He's gotta be great at tickling, no questions ASKED. His favorite spots to tickle are the ribs, and likes to dig straight into the stomach. His most frequent lees are Tori because they've got a little something something going on, Robbie for being a little shit- and Beck- also because he's a little shit. Jade may be the evilest ler, but what she makes up for in meanness Andre makes up for in skill.

Andre is ticklish on his sides and back, and has a little giggle that's incredibly embarassing that his friends (and resident lers Jade and Cat) like to exploit the most. Always gets teased by his lers that they're "playing the piano" lol. His most frequent ler is none of the above- but Tori.
