Okay, so, when I was like, 10 or 12, I used to binge Nickelodeon on the weekends. I didnt have a computer, my friends lived in the next town over, and I didnt really play video games or have a videogame console, so there wasnt much else to do other than watch cartoons. One of he shows I watched was Fanboy and Chum Chum. And there was one episode in particular that I really liked called The Bopwork Orange (a play on Clockwork Orange). Basically, there was a character named Boog who was this 20 year old who liked to 'bop' kids (hit them on the head), and in the episode, he was going to loose his job if he didnt stop bopping. So, Fanboy and Chum Chum put a dog shock collar on him, so that every time he tried to 'bop', hed get electrocuted. I didnt know why at the time, but I really liked the scenes where Boog was wearing the collar, and they always stuck with me, even when I stopped watching the show. A few days later, I remembered the show, and this particular episode. and upon rewatching it, realized that, chances are, that episode was the root cause of my collar kink. This kids show is the reason I now think that dudes wearing collars and being submissive is the sexiest shit on the planet.

See, this is why the whole "Ban everything, lest something that could even potentially be sexualized fall into the hands of innocent precious children!" thing is stupid. Fetishes take off based on the weirdest and most innocuous things you can imagine. It's why we've got an entire generation of furries into balloons and diapers.

Incidentally, I felt the same way about the episode with Man Ray and the tickle collar.
