TATE MCRAE RELEASES NEW SONG AND VIDEO FOR “It’s ok I’m ok”

Today, multi-platinum pop sensation Tate McRae releases her new song “It’s ok I’m ok” alongside the official music video via RCA Records. Written and produced with hitmakers Ryan Tedder (Taylor Swift, Beyoncé), ILYA (Ariana Grande, ROSALÍA) and Savan Kotecha (The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding), “It’s ok I’m ok” marks a new chapter for the star. 

Featuring an irresistible chorus, the pop-infused offering is accompanied by a killer dance visual. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis (Doja Cat, Charlie XCX) and choreographed by Sean Bankhead (Cardi B, Lil Nas X), the high-energy music video follows an unbothered Tate strutting through city streets. Her presence is both commanding and seductive, drawing you into her world without wanting to look away.

Tate adds, “I’m so beyond excited to share “It’s ok I’m ok” with the world and this new chapter of my music. This song is a byproduct of reflecting back on past relationships to now and how much I’ve grown and learned from them. my toronto-trip happened to coincide with the last toronto show of taylor swift's tour so i've been getting to people-watch all day with so many people clearly dressed in their concert outfits

there's even a tree near the children's hospital where people have been hanging up friendship bracelets on the strands of christmas lights the city put up and encouraging people to take a bracelet and leave one of their own. and like say what you will about taylor swift and the culture surrounding her but this is just objectively adorable. especially since most of the people i saw at the tree were little kids but even seeing teens/adults get this excited was sweet. like even tho taylor swift has plenty of overpriced merch (as all big musicians do) the most iconic "merch" items from this tour are handmade by fans for fans and accessible to pretty much anyone

like can this friendship bracelet thing catch on for other fanbases??? would love to go to the kith shows this week and trade friendship bracelets that say shit like "chicken lady" or "impolite and evil"

Tedy Releases Bombastic New Single "Rich"

Today Haitian-Canadian artist Tedy releases his latest track “Rich”. Tedy posted a snippet of "Rich” just minutes after he recorded the track and people noticed, with Grammy winners SZA and Lizzo joining the chorus of praise, enthusiastically sharing teasers of “Rich” across their social platforms.

The song almost instantly went viral, amassing nearly 11M views across TikTok and Instagram (and counting!), and setting the stage for what will almost surely become the anthem of the summer – launching the Friday before the long weekend, and saying what we all feel.

“Rich” is a pop banger with a bombastic beat and message to match. On the song, Tedy is at his mostrelatable, confessing “I wasn’t born to work! … Don’t want to lift a finger … I just want to be rich!”  The track is ironic, playful, hilarious – an anthem of excess. With lyrics that brush off the idea of working for a living and instead fantasizing about waking up to piles of cash.

To celebrate the release of “Rich” Tedy will be cruising around the city in a vintage convertible while blasting his new song “Rich” in his very own quit parade.
