Los cumpleaños... Son un tópico en algunas personas, se que hay lugares, personas, religiones, culturas que lo definen de diferente manera, religiones que no significan nada para ellos, para algunos que pertenecen si les gusta, para otros preferirían que no se lo celebren, entre ellos yo que mi frase es "Mi llegada al mundo, no es algo que me guste celebrar" pero la pregunta es porque si las personas junto a ti, o que son de tu mundo te lo celebran? No lo veas de mala manera si no te gusta, es preferible que alguien te diga feliz cumpleaños, a que sepas que es un día común y corriente pero porque tu los o las quieres sabes apreciarlo o aceptarlo. Es un tópico si que te abracen, te den pastel o sencillamente no lo hagan porque no significa nada para tu familia o para ti.

Si, parece otro día común en él que piensas que cara pondré cuando me canten, o cuando me abracen, si solo lo finjes, o solo lo callas. No importa cual sea tu perspectiva hacia ellos después de que se te acerquen. Si quieres una respuesta positiva ante la situación es sencillo piensate y simula que tu mismo te quieres abrazar que te dirías?

Estas envejeciendo.

Que cara pondremos?

Lo celebramos?

Nos quedamos en cama?

Hoy si comerás hasta que tengas cargo de conciencia?

Te enojaras porque quieren verte feliz en un día normal para ti?

Abrazate a ti mismo no porque sea cumpleaños sino porque estas vivo y estas pensando todas estas cosas no porque no te guste sino porque ves a esas personas ensañadas en querer verte feliz aunque sea avergonzarte unos momentos. Solo respira hondo y piensa que si tienes nietos o hijos pensaran lo mismo que tu en ese momento. No lo vivas a la defensiva porque aunque no quieras esos recuerdos te seguirán hasta tu tumba y como te veras al recordarlo? Con una sonrisa de vergüenza pero alegre? O con un gesto de amargura porque no te quieres decir atravesemos esto bien solo por hoy?

my scariest child ghost encounter

When i was younger i was always quite curious, i would find myself in places i young child shouldn't be. One of my favorite things to do growing up would be going into my mother's room when she wasn't home. One day in particular i found myself curious about her closet. It would always make little sounds that your brain would try to excuse as the house settling or a slight breeze must've done it. I slowly walked towards the closet, as i did i remembered everything my mother told me about how creepy things would happen in her room, how she thought there was a woman in her closet. I knew my family had always been more open to the stranger things in life i knew we could see things other families couldn't i knew my mom was telling me truth about the woman in her closet, but hey i was curious. I slowly opened the closet almost as if i was prepared to be scared by the woman. Once i realized there was no one standing there waiting to scare me i let my walls down. I walked into the closet scanning my moms clothing making sure none of them were people. I looked at the shoes lined on the floor hoping none of them were filled. I looked at the purses hanging up, beside them necklaces, making sure none were swinging. As i looked around i felt silly told myself my mom must've made it up to keep me out of her closet; i always wanted to take anything cute out of there. I went to exit the closet but i felt the need to look back as if to give it one last chance to startle me. I turned my head to the back of the closet, and there she was standing there waiting. I screamed this is the closet i had ever been to a spirit i was petrified. I ran to my bedroom shaking, hoping she wouldn't follow me into my room. As i lay there i could just see  her face in my head and i kept asking myself why did i have to turn around. I waited in my room till my mom had come home. As soon as i got the chance i began my interrogation. “What does she look like” “what clothes was she wearing” “ what color was her hair” i couldn't stop i needed to know what i saw was real. My mom confirmed everything i had said and i was let down. I so badly wanted it to just be my child brain playing tricks on me. But unfortunately not she was real, and she was in my moms closet just down the hall from my room. How do i forget that? The answer is you walk past that room and don't look in. you keep your distance till you forget.then the room will become normal again, till the next sighting. I guess we just play hide and seek downstairs from now on. I guess you could classify this as my scariest ghost encounter as a child because that when my boundaries i had set up with the spirits around me began to fall. They were no longer across the room from me too far to reach. They were at the foot of my bed, behind me just out of sight, they were right in front of me. Impossible to dismiss.

How to become your own Boss! Why would you want to do that when being a Boss has always carried such a negative connotation. So why has this saying stuck around for so long? The word has always epitomized a worst case scenario in the job market. The imagery of a Boss has always been that of a mean and brutal individual, male or female, but predominantly male. And when we speak about a Boss its about how Narcissistic or Egocentric they are.  Its about how awful they are. Yet when we speak of a Leader we speak highly about leading and lifting others up not bossing others or bringing them down. When we think about the healthy environment that comes with a good leader we endeavor to find such a environment and such an individual to work for. So why don't we change that cliche phrase to...How to become your own Leader vs your own boss! Why not, when that's what we are truly desiring to be or find in our work life. We must learn to be impactful leaders to our employees not a mean and cruel Boss. But it all starts with how we treat ourselves. Understanding and compassion are what we really need and what we truly seek. We need the understanding of our more empathetic selves. We dont need to push ourselves around or too hard! We need to give ourselves a little more slack to make mistakes and learn from them or to endeavor and succeed from our decisions. Making mistakes and failing is all a part of growing.  A Boss will not tolerate mistakes and will micro manage you to death, always looming over your shoulder not allowing you to grow and flourish in your position. While learning from those mistakes and failures is what makes it time well spent vs time wasted. No one anywhere wishes to waste time. A Boss would not care about you, your time or your growth. While a Leader would embrace you as an equal, appreciate your time and help you to grow. We choose to believe that our time is of value, so why would we let ourselves diminish our own value or self worth? The saying just seems to mislead us in our intentions.
