One of my favorite headcanons is that Leo grew up watching telenovelas with Splinter.

It just works so well - his bits of Spanish that he spouts randomly, his showy way of apologizing, and, of course, his love for dramatic betrayals all point to this being a very real possibility.

Plus, it’s very cute to imagine a tiny Leo at his father’s side as they both gasp in shock when the show’s eighth plot twist in just as many episodes happens.

It's odd that Dream commented "Tommy essentially belittles what I do, saying that what he does with his podcast and book are somehow more valuable or important than the videos that I make"

Because:

1.) The context was not there. The quote was about Dream/Those like him creating a hostile space. What Tommy said was

"You called me a promoter of all my other projects [because it's my job]. "I actually give a shit- I put effort into [the podcast, book, and stand-up comedy]. I've ditched the internet for a year [to focus on comedy] because of people like you who have ruined this space."

Yet dream portrayed it like Tommy was saying Dream's content didn't have value, thus placing the latter in a victim position.

2.) During this clip, Dream shows this. A screenshot of a bunch of his videos from 2 years ago.

The reason why? It looks bad to show his current content since he has absolutely not been uploading (and also not performing as well lately). Showing a few things:

a.) Dream is criticizing promotion despite not even uploading often

b.) Tommy has been actively working on things that require much more coordination and skill sets than Minecraft videos

c.) Tommy has been actively working on things that NEED promotion. Who is gonna trust a random website that says there's a tommyinnit tour? Or a book written by him?? Promotion is inherently good for social media careers

d.) Dream promotes his merch midway through the video. Like what. Pick a lane.

And finally, maybe obviously,

3.) Dream is truly attempting to rotate this around. He just likes spending time with his friends :((( he's a coder so he likes to code :((((

Yeah no, this isn't about your content in general. Otherwise Tommy would be going onto every youtuber's page and giving the same treatment. This is regarding a slow-burn over several years and a final explosion over recent passive aggressive treatment

I'm sure that somewhere, a definition of manipulation and logical fallacies has Dream's picture there

May I ask what were the best transformers media you ever saw/read?

Well Transformers Prime, Transformers 1986 and IDW comics are having the first place that’s for sure

And then the second place is kind of shared by Fall of Cybertron, Exodus, Prime wars trilogy, Robots in disguise(2001) and Transformers One.

The third place goes to G1, Animated, Earthspark, Armada, War for Cybertron Netflix series, Aligned Robots in disguise, Bumblebee, Rise of the Beasts and Cyberverse because I only liked some little parts of them.

And then I also saw some of the Bay movies, Victory and Headmasters and didn’t like them at all.

Separate first place for J-Decker. It is not exactly Transformers but it is a show about giant robots and I loved it

way back in like. march?? I took a stab at writing some kind of kabitserye type of story but it was a mess: it kept veering off into murder mystery drama territory because I was reading a lot of murder mystery novels around then and it Wasn't Good because I hadn't tried writing mysteries, let alone murder mysteries, before lmao

I did write a handful of short mystery stories since then, so next year I might take a stab at this idea again now that I'm no longer jumping head first into a genre pool I don't know how to swim in :)

in tha story building process again... i think the transition from "here's some stuff i like all put in a blender" to "here's what i want to say" in the process is pretty cool. sometimes the stuff i like has to come out of the blender because it won't contribute to what i want to say

i looooove to be the bearer of bad news so i'll say it: if you keep interchanging races just because they're from the same geographical area then something is wrong buddy

I was telling my brothers how a lot of people are negative about Love You Teacher due to the age regression of Santa’s character and how it’s uncomfortable. I was saying I felt that’s a little ableist because there are some conditions that can cause age regression, and even other similar conditions. Plus, it’s not like Pobmek is going to be ‘romantic’ with Solar when he’s in regression.

To me, I felt the negative reactions a little hurtful? I’m a full time carer to a disabled parent who has had moments of slight regression.

To me, this series is gonna be about a guy who has to become his boyfriend’s carer and there are times when their relationship cannot be ‘normal’ (for lack of a better term) and he needs to become more of a parent than a lover, and that is extremely common in many relationships - especially in the LGBTQ+ community. My brother’s partner has to be his carer due to his disabilities.

So, whilst I can get people automatically jump to HES A CHILD but he’s not. He’s an adult that has a disability, basically. I don’t see how that’s as predatory as people have been saying. If it was an age play type thing I could understand people being uncomfortable, but it’s not. It’s a disability.

I just feel like perhaps people could be a little less mean about a series that hasn’t been filmed yet? Like I said, I can understand that upon first hearing the plot it might sound odd, but when you boil it down it’s really about a couple who are dealing with one of them having a bad accident and ending up with a brain injury - this is not an uncommon thing, yet some people reacted like it was something predatory and gross.

I’m not saying that you all have to like it and support it, and it’s totally okay to not be comfortable with it! There’s plenty of shows out there with content or themes that make me personally uncomfortable. My only ask is that you not be mean to those who end up liking the series, or perhaps can relate to it.

(This isn’t aimed at anyone on here btw - I saw some nasty comments elsewhere on other hellsites and I just had to vent ❤️)

I have come to the conclusion that Yin & War saying that Jack & Joke are switches, doesn’t just mean in bed (but really we should just not define relationships based on their preferences alright!?)

After watching ep8, YW have implied that we might see Joke on “top” (or taking the lead etc.), and honestly in my head, it’s not about sex (or totally about sex).

In my last post, I’ve explained how Jack often wholeheartedly goes headfirst into giving affection. While Joke is always the one hesitating. They both grew up with different views of love, and different approaches to affection.

While in many viewpoint, we may see Jack as someone taking the lead on things because of these differences. However, I think as time goes by, Joke will learn he doesn’t have to hesitate in giving love and accepting love. That he’ll finally truly believe he is worthy of love & worthy of giving it. That he’s not a burden. That he’s not bad luck. To anyone. To Jack.

So maybe we may see him approach Jack more, gain more confidence as they settle in their relationship. And Jack? He’ll let Joke take the lead. Knows how it took Joke a lot to finally be free of giving affection that he’s so full of, bursting at the seams. And for the first time, Jack will take it all in, let himself bury into the warmth of Joke’s care because since he was a child, he had to grow up fast & take care of those around him. Now, someone is finally there to love him—a soulmate to complete him.

Jack & Joke are just two puzzle pieces that have been floating at the edge of the big picture, trying to fit into spots that didn’t really complete them. Now, they have finally click into place.

feanor also has the brown dad trait of would rather let himself get turned to fucking ash than admit hes wrong and also will assume the rest of his children would go along with he says and be forced to fight for his will for literal years- im just saying the scene after feanor accidentally burns amrod alive and no one says anything or WANTED TO say anything is a canon experience
