Celebrating Black Family Shows

Steve Harvey Show, Sister Sister, Family Matters, Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, The Wayans Bros, Moesha, Living Single, Martin, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. 

The Jamie Foxx Show, All of Us, The Parkers, Bernie Mac Show, What’s Happening, The Jeffersons, The Parent ‘Hood,  One on One, Sinbad Show

Smart Guy, My Wife and Kids, My Brother & Me, It’s a Different World, The Cosby Show, Good Times, Cousin Skeeter, Gullah Gullah Island, The PJs

Everybody Hates Chris, Kenan and Kel, In the House, Sanford and Son, The Hughleys, The Boondocks, Fat Albert, The Proud Family

Most of these shows were from the greatest decade, the 90′s ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Y2K saw a major drop in black family sitcoms, and the 70′s and 80′s were struggling. I’d honestly take any of these shows, even the animated ones, over any sitcom on air today. Nothing better than a show that portrays black families in a positive light, the father being present, the kids going through real things black kids go through, the mother being stable, and healthy relationships. #BlackHistoryMonth

In a WILD turn of events, I matched with a girl last week and we hit it off instantly aaaaaaaand we’re going out on Sunday!
