Thinking about the Toynk Toony The Tuna Toon In With Me Plush and how cool that this Me Tv show got popular enough to get more than shirt merch. The plush is really cool but I wish it was part puppet also or at least have a voice box in it with Toony's voice.

Toon in With Me reminds me of Captain Kangaroo meets Toon Heads from old school cartoon network. I wonder if the cartoons they show on Me Tv are free domain or do they pay a fee?

Appearance / personality:

Loona is a Hellhound with wolf-like appearance; she has a pointed dog-like muzzle with sharp pointy teeth and a dark grey nose. She has red sclera eyes with white irises and wears dark grey eyeshadow and a pierced eyebrow.

Her fur is white with grey encircling her face, grey patches along her shoulder and long voluminous silver hair swept to the side to reveal dark grey ears — the right side of which is pierced with two small hoop earrings, the left which is ragged. She had a long dark grey bushy tail with white on the underside.

Her outfit features a spiked black choker and a tattered grey, off the shoulder top is held up at the neckline by a series of criss cross spaghetti straps that form an inverted pentagram. She wears shorts that are tattered at the hems, with a crescent moon detail on the right side.

Loona accessorizes with fingerless gloves and black toeless stockings, with her black claws protuding due to her digitigrade stance.

Human form:

Loona's humanoid form is largely identical to her hellhound form, albeit human. Her eye colors are inverted, as she has white sclera with red irises. She shrinks down from her demon form, appearing to be of average height compared to most humans in this form and somewhat slimmer than normal.

She retains the same outfit as before, but with the addition of black knee-high socks and high-top sneakers and black lipstick. Her choker also loses the spikes, and in place of her torn right ear, she now has two earrings on each ear. Her head is shaved on the right side.

1x08 - Queen Bee

• Loona quietly hoped Vortex’s girlfriend wouldn’t be attractive, only to be surprised and a little disappointed when Bee turned out to be “hot.” By the time she left the party, she knew there was no point in trying to compete with that.

• When Loona left the party, she called Blitz to pick her up—despite the fact that she could have called literally anyone else.

• After Blitz won Bee’s drinking contest, Loona screamed at the top of her lungs, “YEAH! THAT’S MY DAD!” — the first time she had ever called him ‘dad.’

• The moment Bee tried to warn Loona about her dad being too drunk, Loona immediately brushed it off, insisting Blitz was “fine” and that Bee and Vortex didn’t know him like she did. She wasn’t a fan of them meddling—until Bee’s demon form made her rethink things, and she went to check on him.

• Loona becomes embarrassed and irritated when Blitz gets obnoxiously drunk and starts making out with random strangers

• Loona started calling Blitz “Dad” — indefinitely — after he almost died

• Loona felt sympathetic toward Stolas after he lost everything, and when Blitz offered him a place to stay, she didn’t argue—probably because she had been in that position herself shortly after Blitz adopted her.

2x12 - Sinmas

• Blitz explained to Stolas that Hellbornes act on the sins of the rings they’re from—meanwhile, we see Loona eating and drinking excessively, hinting at Gluttony.

Theory: I think Loona may not have originally belonged to any ring—other than Pride, by default, because of Blitz. But after Bee stood up for I.M.P and helped spare Blitz’s life, I think Loona started leaning into Gluttony as a form of dedication. In a way, Bee saved her dad, and Loona might see that as something worth honoring… plus, she might have a little crush on Bee too.

• The first time Loona and Stolas properly interacted was in the I.M.P meeting room—on his first day working with them.

Since Loona isn’t yet close to Stolas—the way she is with her dad or M&M—her tone was a bit curt and less tender when explaining what he needed to do for reception work. However, that could change as they continue working together.

Nearly 90% Of Dolphin Population In Indian Ocean Wiped Out By Fisheries

A new study by an international group of scientists has found that almost 90% of the dolphin population in the Indian Ocean has been killed due to the tuna fishing industry. The “alarming” drop in dolphin numbers is related to the use of illegal gillnets that are widely used by fishing companies across the world, snaring dolphins and other cetaceans caught in the bycatch. Researchers are calling for “urgent, drastic changes” in fisheries to protect dolphin populations, and the results renews calls for a major rethink about the unsustainable nature of seafood consumption.

Led by Dr Charles Anderson of nonprofit conservation organisation Manta Marine in the Maldives and joined by Dr Putu Mustika and his team from James Cook University in Queensland, Australia, the international group of researchers found that the dolphin population in the Indian Ocean may only be at 13% of what it was in 1980. The results were calculated using the figures of bycatch from tuna gillnets and driftnets across 10 sampling programmes in Australia, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan, which showed that the numbers of dolphins snared had decreased by 20% since 2004, a sign of rapid decline in the number of dolphins in the ocean.

“The declining cetacean bycatch rates shown by what we can measure suggest current mortality rates are not sustainable. The estimates we have developed show that average small cetacean abundance may currently be at 13% of the 1980 levels,” said Dr Putu Mustika.

One of the main culprits of the intense decline in the number of dolphins, say the researchers, is the rise in the use of gillnets. Though already banned by the United Nations, gillnets – rectangular nets up to 30 kilometres long and 20 metres deep, mimicking vertical walls in the ocean – are still used by many fishing companies in multiple countries. These massive nets have snared hundreds of thousands of dolphins over the years, and the slow decrease in the number of dolphin captures reflects that the overall population has been severely threatened.’

According to official data from fisheries, more than 4 million small cetaceans, which includes whales, dolphins and porpoises, were caught in the Indian Ocean fishing operations between 1950 and 2018.

“Gillnets can and do kill threatened species like snubfin dolphins and dugongs. Our vulnerable species need sanctuary. We must permanently remove gillnets from their habitats,” said Tooni Mahto, a campaigner with the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS), which published a separate investigation into gillnet bycatch in 2018.

The devastating loss of dolphin species is yet another consequence of the continued mass demand for seafood for human consumption, which is more broadly accelerating the decline of ocean biodiversity at alarming rates. Recent estimates from scientists say that we are quickly approaching a future of oceans with no fish left – at our current rate, by 2050, the seas will have little to no available seafood left for consumption.

Aside from rapidly depleting hunted fish species and harming marine wildlife caught in bycatch, the seafood industry is also linked to the global plastic pollution crisis. A major contributor to our plastic ocean are lost and abandoned “ghost nets” discarded by fisheries, which amount to an astonishing 640,000 tonnes of waste in the ocean.

Although the rise in awareness of the environmental impact of seafood has ushered in “sustainably farmed” seafood in recent years, it has become increasingly clear that farmed fish is not any more “eco-friendly” because it is resource intensive, requiring 2-3 pounds of smaller fish for feed, and requiring huge amounts of antibiotics to ward off diseases and parasites in enclosed fish farms.

The latest study on the impact of the fishing industry on dolphin species renews calls for not only tighter monitoring over companies’ operations to save marine animals from extinction, but a major rethink about traditional seafood consumption altogether.

I definitely am! I've got only about 6000 words so far, so it's rather slow going. I haven't done a long multi chapter fic since I was fourteen, and that was over four years ago. And lmao YES Tonky Stunk can suck my afab non-binary queer dick lmao. I love you too, dearest anonymous.

Admittedly I am rather torn between writing post endgame world and roasting the shit out of the MCU/Tuna Fark and an AU of my own making where Tiny is an actual good person (like he should be) (not a billionaire because he only gives himself a modest salary, never made and distributed weapons, anti-war, the accords/ultron never happened, Spidey is a self-made superhero that was never kidnapped or manipulated for Stark's dirty work, Toony loves and appreciates Pepper, isn't a bully, etc)
