Pokemon Characters and Date Ideas
Basically: what dates would these Pokemon characters do with you? Characters: N Harmonia, Leon, Grimsley, Rika & Prof. Augustine Sycamore
N Harmonia
Was honestly showing affection and did private, one-on-one hangouts together even before you two started dating
It was around this time he got more affectionate in your friendship. Resting his head on top of your hair, deep eye contact (which he was often really bad at), and braiding/playing with your hair or vice versa.
It wasn’t until you “officially” ask him out and he cocks his head to the side like a confused puppy and goes “I thought we already were?”
Confusion ensues.
As for dates, N is a really quiet and private guy. He doesn’t like being out in public or in overstimulating environments.
Most of the time dates are hikes, picnics, exploring, all that the fun outdoorsy stuff where he gets to shine in his element.
Occasionally y’all go to Nimbasa City and go on the Ferris Wheel or play at the arcade in the Amusement Park which you both find enjoyable.
But his favorites are on late nights when neither of you can sleep.
You two will just go to Dragonspiral Tower and stargaze at the top of the ruins or watch the local wild pokemon do their thing.
It’s quiet, it’s fun, and he’s with you. What else could he ask for?
Leon
Dense boy, you probably had to beat him over the head with a book to get his brain to understand (mostly bc he keeps accidentally friend-zoning himself)
Has never really dated before?
Like, Rose set him up on dates because it's good publicity but he probably hasn’t gone on a real date.
He has money, all these brand partnerships and stuff. He tries to do really classy stuff when y’all first start dating but it leads to him being clearly uncomfortable and you getting fed up and explaining you like him for him and to do fun stuff together.
Mostly home dates from that point on or outings that don’t feel like “dates”.
Game nights where you two play video games are super fun. Some days are challenge days where you see who can do the best run on a Roguelike or who can win the most rounds of a battle royale type game
Some days are cozy co-op games where you solve puzzles and create things…
Y’all’s favorite thing to do together though is just walk and get lost. Esp with Leon’s terrible sense of direction, you two find weird hole-in-the-wall places that are so much fun.
The best one you found was a great hole-in-the-wall traditional kantonian ramen bar that was on the edge of going out of business. However, due to you and Leon talking about it so much with friends and posting about it online, you saved the shop from going out of business.
Grimsley
Your first date with Grimsley wasn’t really what you were expecting in all honesty
He took you out for lunch at his favorite Kalosian cafe then took you to a bookstore and had you both pick out different books for each other, then went to his house and read while old records played in the background
Of course, the book he picked out for you was one of Shauntal’s (because gotta support your friends/little sister figure)
It was so different from what you were expecting but so sweet at the same time.
Most common dates are drinks at bars after long days or flower viewings knowing you would like them
He also takes you to his favorite spots whenever he visits Alola with you.
But the most fun dates are when the two of you go to Castelia or Nimbasa to the casinos
You both are given the same amount of money and the challenge is who makes the most in time for your dinner reservation
Whenever the two of you see each other during these you have a habit of teasing the other about who’s in the lead.
In the end, the winner pays for dinner (much to the chagrin of the other)
Rika
She’s the one who asked you and was super casual and blunt about it
Picks you up after work and takes you to the store where the two of you talk about what to make for dinner.
The two of you go back to her place and begin cooking together, smiling and chatting the whole time as the two of you get distracted by cutting veggies and being in each other’s company.
From then on dates were mostly cutesy, one-on-one time for the two of you.
Crafts while watching movies are the most common, sewing, embroidery, sketching, it's just fun and relaxing
Ceramics classes too, wet clay on your hands and you rub it on her face. Only for her to cock her brow and smirk as she cups her face with her filthy hands and kisses your nose.
Her favorite dates are the ones when you get to help her at the Academy. Running after-school activities or working in the library
It combines her admiration of her students and her love of you… her two favorite things
Prof. Augustine Sycamore
Honestly over the moon when you accepted to go on a date with him
The man is in his late 30s/early 40s and his last relationship kinda fell apart really badly
*cough cough Lysandre cough*
So he was out of the dating scene for a while and didn’t exactly know what to do when you said yes
Like, his brain crashed and did a hard reset. He was not expecting to get this far…
He gives all his employees off one day and decks out the backyard of his lab with string lights, and sheets, rummaging around the attic of the lab, and a call to his favorite restaurant.
When you arrived you saw the backyard completely transformed into a cozy outdoor movie spot with takeout and snacks prepared at a picnic table
It’s super sweet
Besides that, you two go on “research” dates together. It’s mostly pokemon watching and taking notes on what you find.
The little sketches he does of the pokemon you find absolutely adorable!

May 27 - Arashiyama bamboo park
Today marked our trip to Arashiyama bamboo park and monkey park. I woke up kind of late today but still managed to buy some good breakfast last night so I wasn’t that hungry in the morning when we would have normally broken for lunch. We took a couple of quick train rides over to Arashiyama which looked pretty much just like a normal residential area at first. As we continued walking, the residential area started to break up into a forest-like area, which slowly became more and more bamboo. It kind of felt like just a regular kind of nature path that you would walk on in Florida, but the Japan version I guess. We walked for I want to say around 30 minutes or so through mostly bamboo forest and when we had finished there were a bunch of converging paths which we didn’t get to explore but I wish I could have later on after the excursion. Anyways, from the bamboo forest, we had to walk next to a giant river and across some bridge, which made for some awesome photo ops. After the bridge, we started our hike up the mountain to go see the monkeys. I was a little concerned that I was going to slip or someone around me was going to, but thankfully the mountain wasn’t really that wet so I stayed upright the whole way. Once we reached the summit, I kind of started looking around and couldn’t find any monkeys until I looked on the roof of the main building that was there. As I slowly started to look around the area, I just kept seeing more and more. There was also the giant banana which me and Zach took a picture with which I thought was really funny. I really thought the monkeys were gonna be a little bit bigger. I mean like they were big but not that big. They were constantly fighting which was pretty funny to watch because they would hit each other a couple times and then go running down the mountain. After that, I asked the workers at the top of the mountain for a Restaurant recommendation and they sent me to a croquet place towards the center of the city. It looked closed, but they actually were running a shop like 50 meters away and I got a bunch of croquettes for super cheap but no one else really wanted them so I just took them on the go. After that we took a really long bus ride where Zach was asleep for what I wanna say was about 40 minutes. Just like neck fully touching chest which was hilarious. We then went to round one and I kind of sat around while other people were playing arcade games but next to the round one was the dollar store which I was really looking forward to because I need to buy some secret things for an event coming up. After that was just a couple trips to some stores around the area that were pretty much pointless because everything was too expensive but that was pretty much my day.
Academic reflection
Given that Arashiyama has had its land protected for centuries starting from the Heian period, I feel as if I could kind of get a better glimpse into just how well it truly was today. Especially from the summit of the monkey park. Once you reach the summit you take a good look around and it’s just forest and streams in what appears to be a bordered area. You can see where it ends but up until that point nature is truly thriving. I will say Japan kind of has this thing for making sure that even next to large towns or cities there is adequate amounts of nature to balance it out. In addition, we got to see Nonomiya which helped shape up the story told in the readings a bit better. I did get to see one of the charms in the theme of The Shrine in the Fields characters but I refrained from buying it and humbly passed on. It was funny to find a shrine that is kind of dedicated to love. It makes me want to search out other specific themed shrines.

long time coming
read on ao3 | gif cred @katanas5gfoamsword
synopsis: you find out about vigilante and it’s the final straw for something that was a long time coming.
pairing: adrian chase/gender neutral reader
word count: 1.7k
warnings: smut, heavy angst, hurt no comfort, unhealthy relationships, break up, unhappy ending, explicit sexual content, explicit language, mentions of depression, mentions of violence
a/n: my deepest apologies for the following heartbreak. forreal this is the saddest thing ive ever written lmao, its lowkey a vent piece im not gonna lie to yall rn. anon requested some ‘therapy inducing angst’ so i said bet. i promise the next vigilante instalment will super duper fun
“They just kept me working late, babe, that’s all.”
It was an innocuous enough statement. At the time, you were proud of Adrian for finally knuckling down and working hard at something, even if it was just as a bus boy at Fennel Fields. You’d never known him to be the most reliable or logical, but that was the way he was, and you’d loved him regardless. Adrian’s nonsensical approach to life used to keep things fresh, constantly keeping you on your toes and ensuring your romance never saw a dull day.
In a strange way, you had grown used to his chaos. Hence why his first half a dozen unexplained absences were forgiven by you without question. You knew him too well. You knew that poking and prodding to pry an answer from him wouldn’t help you in the slightest. And you’d known him long enough that you trusted him. If someone came up to you in the street at that time, they wouldn’t be able to finish uttering the question, ‘would you trust him with your life?’ before your head started nodding assuredly.
How you wished now to be that person on the other end. To warn that spellbound, ignorant you from the past. To take them by the shoulders and shake some sense into them, to admonish them not to ignore the warning signs.
Adrian’s lack of accountability was only the harbinger of the heartbreak to come. A subconscious theme of indifference began to wash over every interaction the two of you shared, so subtle and undetectable that you weren’t able to find an explanation for those nights alone you cried yourself to sleep, or why your motivation and self esteem seemed to be in some sort of never-ending freefall. You can still vividly recall the last date the two of you ever went on.
Adrian took you to the same restaurant, where you both ordered the same meal. Afterwards, he took you to the same arcade, to play the same game, just to get the same score. He laughed that same, goofy, taunting laugh, picking you up and spinning you around the same way he always did to lighten the mood. After taking the two of you home on the same route, he hummed the same tune he always did as you stood in the same spots, brushing your teeth.
Everything was the same as it always was. The only difference, the only factor that set this night apart from all those other identical nights was the all consuming feeling of solitude. The realisation hit you like a tonne of bricks. The once abstract, indescribable feeling of paradoxical loneliness was now perfectly clear to you. If you had called out for him, Adrian would have rushed into the bedroom and been mere inches away from you in a matter of seconds. But you realised that even if you did that, even if you were to close the gap and press your lips against him, even if you knotted your hands in his hair and held him that close to you for the rest of your lives, he’d still feel a million miles away. No amount of physical proximity could make up for the light-years of emotional distance you had both been unknowingly fostering the entire time.
You were sat up in bed, your eyes starting to burn from how long they’d been harshly focussed on the bedroom wall in front of you when his voice shook you out of your daze. You wanted nothing more than to disclose your newfound realisation. To illustrate how isolated and confused you felt, to show him how detached the two of you had become. But you had no words. You had no idea how to rekindle the two strangers you had become. At that point, you didn’t even know if it was worth it anymore. To this day, you still don’t know if he ever noticed your anguish that night, or whether he did and just resolved to pretend he didn’t. Maybe he was going through the exact same thing in his own head; a prospect that brought an excruciating amount of pain with it.
Even more painfully, you can also still vividly recall the last fuck. The contrast of the glaringly obvious emptiness and your crippling sense of grief felt like it was stabbing you in the gut and twisting the knife with every one of his thrusts. You hid your gasps of sorrow behind every one of his grunts. Adrian knew you like he knew the back of his hand. His tongue knew the exact pattern and his fingers knew the exact angle to coax a blinding orgasm out of you. The tears welled in eyes as you felt yourself cum around his cock buried deep inside you, and they finally broke the seal, streaming down your face as you felt him pull out just in time, as he always did, to coat your stomach with his seed as he muttered empty praises into the crook of your neck with a laugh. Despite the absolute codependency, despite the complete and absolute knowledge of what made the other tick, it wasn’t enough to bridge the gap. You were strangers.
You remember when you found the mask. That stupid, god awful green mask with the obnoxious, red-tinted visor glaring back at you as you clutched it in your shaking hands. You recognised it from the news. All those pictures, all those stories of what the masked ‘vigilante’ had done. All the blood spilled and lives lost by his hand. All the constant danger he was in. All the constant danger he put you in. And he’d told you nothing of it. You couldn’t pinpoint how long he’d been fostering this second, secret life for, though you could recall news stories spanning at least a few months back.
You realised you’d been doing this too; in your own, very pedestrian and pathetic feeling way. Adrian had no idea how much you’d been suffering. He had no clue of all the god awful thoughts you’d been thinking, all the shame-filled pity parties, the bland, colourless existence you’d been living. That was the one thing you could never bring yourself to put on him, not entirely. Adrian stopped opening up you, and you did the same. You shut each other out.
You wondered if maybe your subconscious knew about his secret identity all along and this was its nonsensical, destructive way of protecting itself. Maybe it was your subconscious’ idea of some sordid, cataclysmic revenge plan, to get back at him for incubating this newer, cooler identity for himself in the shadows, waiting for it to hatch so he could climb on, leave you behind and never look back.
You tried to talk to Adrian one last time. To give it one more shot. You’d poured your entire being, your heart and soul into the relationship, and thought until at least a few months ago that he’d done the same. You wanted nothing more than for that to be enough to keep the fire going, even if it meant just blowing on a few, dull embers to keep them alive for a little longer. You can remember the moment he got home that night. His face was relaxed; it was neutral. Happy. Through your nervous haze, you could see his brown eyes crinkle into a smile. Through the ringing in your ears, you could hear his nasally voice chirping something to the tune of ‘How was your day babe?’. You couldn’t do it anymore.
Your feet carried you into your bedroom, you couldn’t hear the sliding of drawers or clinking of coat-hangers as you hastily shoved your most important belongings into a suitcase.
“Babe, what the fuck are you doing? What is happening right now?” he asked, arms outstretched in confusion. You could taste your tears as you swallowed them back, feeling them run down your throat.
“I know about Vigilante.” you replied curtly. A jolt of adrenaline coursed through your veins as you spoke your mind for the first time in months, compelling you to harshly sweep your arm across your nightstand, carelessly knocking all of it’s freight into the suitcase. You heard an exasperated sigh escape his lungs and tried to zip up your bag loudly enough to mask his poignant expression of frustration. When you turned to look at him, your heart broke into a million pieces. He looked angry. Perturbed. But behind the frustration, you could see the concern. His thick brows peaked in the centre of his forehead as he cautiously approached you, the same way one approaches a timid, stray cat.
“I have to leave, Adrian. Before this kills me.” you explained. You didn’t have the energy to explain in any more detail. Not then. You’d decided, for your own wellbeing, that in that moment, the only thing left for you to do was go. It only further broke your heart to realise that he had no idea what you really meant.
“Baby, I won’t let anyone hurt you. I’ll always keep you safe, you know that. You know me” he appeased, stepping closer with arms wide open, silently begging you to drop your bags and step into his embrace. Instead, you took a step back.
“I’m not worried about anyone else hurting me. It’s Vigilante.”
Adrian stepped closer, bowing his head to earnestly look you in the eye as he gently rested his hands on your arms that still held your bag firmly.
“It’s me, baby. I’m Vigilante. You don’t have any reason to be scared of me. You don’t have any reason to be scared of Vigilante. I promise I’ll always keep you far away from all that,” Adrian explained, shaking his head and chuckling in an attempt to lighten the mood, “I mean, you’ve never even seen me with the mask on.”
You sighed, shrugging his hands off your shoulders. Your eyes betrayed you and took a moment to revel in the face before you. His beautiful face. The face you knew so well you could shut your eyes and picture every last detail of it, down to the freckle. The face you thought you’d get to look at every day for the rest of your life. The face that once filled your heart to the brim with love, and painfully, filled it with love no longer. Your eyes flitted briefly towards the front door, and your keys dangling from the lock, then back to his face for the last time.
“And that’s exactly why I have to go.”

fundraisers
bucky finds love where he least expects it
word count: 1.9k
masterlist
a/n: hi bffs i am back w my usual fluff ,, i hope u all enjoy !! let me know what u all think ! a fundraiser? more like raising buckys heart rate ! (I’m funny please laugh)
“it’ll be fun! It’s for a fundraiser and my friend is counting on us” Sam spoke, “and plus when was the last time you went to an arcade?” He questioned and bucky rolled his eyes.
“I’m 106 i don’t go to arcades” bucky grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest and looking to the side. Sam rolled his eyes, walking over and sitting down next to his friend.
“Cmon buck y/n will kill me if you don’t show up, she already promised who know how many people that we’d show up” sam frowned and bucky looked at him angrily.
“fine whatever” bucky agreed reluctantly, “but I’m leaving after the first hour” he added quickly and sam smiled at him, knowing he would end up staying the whole time.
“you’ll get along just fine” Sam smiled, “the easiest thing you can do in life is fall in love with y/n y/l/n” bucky rolled his eyes. Fat chance.
“When is it anyway” bucky asked, sam gave him a toothy grin before replying, “tonight at 6! See you there at 5!” He spoke quickly, rushing out of the super soldier’s apartment before he could suffer the consequences.
Bucky groaned, his hands flying to his face before he checked the time, he had three hours before he had to head out.
You were giddy, it was your first fundraiser for your new nonprofit, posters spread around the arcade in hopes of reaching your goal. You expected a larger crowd tonight, the buzz of Captain America and The Winter Soldier making a guest appearance made your heart race.
You smiled as you saw bucky walk in at 5:30, you checked yourself out in the mirror next to you before walking towards him with a smile.
“Mr. Barnes! hi I’m y/n” you grinned, holding out your hand. He shook it lightly before giving you a tight smile, looking around for Sam.
“uh, wheres sam? He said he would be here by now” he asked you let out a breathy laugh, shaking your head.
“he’ll probably get here at like 5:30, he’s always late” you smiled and bucky laughed a little, the sound making your smile widen.
“I’ll let you go change into your suit, the restrooms are right over there” you smiled and bucky nodded, heading towards the restrooms, bag in hand with his suit.
Before you knew it people were filing in, Sam running out just in the nick of time to stand next to bucky.
As everyone met and took pictures with the two avengers you made small talk with some business people, giving out information about your fundraiser and graciously accepting donations left and right. You skipped over to the giant whiteboard near the prizes, smiling widely throughout the night as you colored in the box closer to the goal. Bucky smiled at how excited you were, he admired how passionate you seemed about your project.
The night progressed and you finished making rounds with most of the visitors, many people taking interest in how to help and spreading the word online. You finally let yourself relax, heading over to Sam and bucky who had already changed back to regular clothes and were sitting by the restaurant area.
“how’d it go?” You smiled at sam, ordering a water quickly.
“it was good, lots of people” he spoke, “my cheeks hurt from smiling, can’t imagine how hard it was for this guy” he teased bucky, nudging him with his elbow. Bucky frowned at sam, sitting up a bit straighter.
“i smile all the time” bucky spoke gruffly, “I’m a happy guys I’ll have you know” he turned his attention to you, smiling for a second.
“i never said you weren’t happy” sam shot back and you smiled as the two friends bickered.
“You implied it!” Bucky frowned and you laughed.
“okay notes break it up” you sighed, smiling as you finished your bottle of water. “any one wanna get their ass handed to them in air hockey?”
Sams eyes widened and he shook his head quickly, you groaned. Bucky looked at him confused, squinting his eyes a little.
“no way” sam replied and you pouted.
“why not?” You frowned, bucky was quiet as he observed the two of you.
“you’re a whole different person when you play!” Sam continued to shake his head, eating some of the fries bucky ordered, earning him a small angry ‘hey’ from the metal armed man.
“oh they can’t be that bad surely” bucky smiled at you, the frown on your face quickly replaced with a grin as you grabbed his metal hand and dragged him towards the air hockey table.
“oh god” sam mumbled, getting up from his seat and following the two of you through the crowd.
“you know how to play?” you asked bucky and he nodded. You handed him a paddle, and grabbed the puck, slipping in some coins and smiling brightly.
“for the record i am on Buckys team, simply out of spite” Sam spoke loudly, still eating Buckys fries.
“you’re eating all my fries!” Bucky grumbled and Sam rolled his eyes, shoving another handful of fries into his mouth.
“ready?” You asked and bucky nodded, you hit the puck gently, easing into the game. Bucky stuck it quickly, a smirk on his face as it smoothly went in. Your mouth dropped open as he scored.
“from what Sam said i thought you were better than that doll” bucky smirked, you felt butterflies in your stomach but you shoved them down, determined to beat him.
“was gonna go easy on you considering you might break your back trying to get the puck” you shot back, sams mouth wide open at your comment. Bucky smirked, you were witty and cute?
You took the puck and placed it down, hitting it quickly and bouncing it off the walls of the table, bucky strikes it quickly, you managed to hit it back before he scored and landed it cleanly in the goal. You smiled in satisfaction.
1-1
“glad to know you can score” bucky teased, hitting the puck, both of you focused on the game as you spoke.
“glad to know you won’t get a heart attack trying to keep up, old man” Sam watched from the side, eating the fries and enjoying the entertainment.
“i keep up quite well sweetheart” bucky replied, hitting the puck sharply and scoring, your eyes met and he smirked. You narrowed your eyes at him, grabbing the puck and hitting it quickly, he bounced it off the wall and you struck back without hesitation, the two of you going back and forth before you stuck the puck softly, catching him off guard before hitting it again and scoring.
“we’ll see about that james” your tone was sharp, bucky was taken back at the venom in your voice, looking at Sam with wide eyes.
“i warned you” the man chuckled, eating the last couple fries.
Bucky turned back to the game, both of you fiercely trying to score on the other.
“cmon thought you were a super soldier? cant use that extra strength to beat me?” You teased as you scored, bucky rolling his eyes at your tone.
“want me to put it to good use?” Buckys voice got deeper and you gulped a little, your Kees growing weak. He smirked and placed the puck on the table, your eyes unfocused as you thought of the tone of his voice. He scored easily, winning at you. “cats got your tongue?”
Your competitive nature got the best of you, anger rising in your chest as you saw the score, 9-8. You need two points to win, no way he was gonna beat you.
You set the puck down on the table, hitting it as soon as bucky tried to score again, not giving him time to move, a smile on your face as you heard it slide into the goal.
9-9
Bucky was silent as he set the puck down again, hitting it quickly, you were quick to react, bouncing it off the wall and into his own paddle. As bucky tried to move back to block the puck, he accidentally hit the puck with his paddle, causing it to slide into the goal and score on himself.
“i thought you could keep up?” You whined, pouting a bit before smirking at him proudly. Bucky bit his lip as the machine announced your win. You smiled at him as he set the paddle on the table, winking at him before turning around and telling Sam you were gonna go to the restroom.
Bucky was left in awe as you walked away, his mouth slightly agape. Sam smirked at the man, patting his shoulder as they walked to their table again.
“you like them dont you” Sam smiled and bucky looked at him like he was crazy.
“wha- me? No! i just met them!” Bucky protested and Sam rolled his eyes.
“as if you guys weren’t flirting that whole game?” Sam laughed and bucky shook his head.
“isn’t that how they talk to you when you guys play?” Sam widened his eyes and shook his head.
“oh god no i wish, last time they called me a bird brain!” Sam frowned and bucky laughed, “and then they said, ‘had known you were gonna play like this, i would’ve stayed home, it’s the same as playing with a fish’”
Bucky couldn’t stop the fit of laughter as Sam frowned at all the things you told him during the game, smiling slightly as he remembered the way you apologized after, hugging him and kissing his cheek and offering to buy him all the food he wanted.
“what’s so funny?” You asked, a smile on your face as you slid into the seat next to sam.
“just telling bucky all the things you say when we play” sam spoke and your face turned red.
“I’m really sorry, i hope i didn’t hurt your feelings or anything” you smiled softly and bucky shook his head.
“oh no I’m fine i get it” he smiled at you and you nodded, stomach in knots as you thought back to his words. Your throat went dry and you looked at him, quickly glancing to your hands. It didn’t go unnoticed by bucky though.
“actually, that super strength comment kinda hurt” he frowned slightly, trying his best to look genuinely hurt. You looked at him with wide eyes, frowning at his words.
“really? I’m sorry i didn’t mean it i swear, I’ll do anything to make it up to you” you spoke quickly, guilt washing over you.
“going on a date would make me feel so much better” bucky smiled and your mouth dropped, a smile on your face as you realized he was just messing with you.
You crossed your arms over chest as Sam smirked at bucky, proudly looking at him.
“if you wanted to ask me out you could’ve just said so sergeant” you smiled and bucky shrugged his shoulders.
“where’s the fun in that doll face” the two of you kept eye contact or a while, you wanted to just lean over the table and kiss him, bucky wanted nothing more than to crash his lips onto yours. Sam wanted more fries.
“is that a yes then?” Bucky asked and you were quiet for a moment before speaking up.
“maybe it is” you quipped, “depends” you smiled, making Sam shake his head as he realized where this was gonna go.
“depends on what?” Bucky questioned, cocking his head to the side as the smile on your face grew.
“how good are you at basketball?” You questioned, already getting up to head to the game, hand slipping into Bucky’s and pulling him behind you.
You were gonna be the death of him, but he didn’t mind it one bit.

you were bit more dressed up more than usual today and bakugou noticed. he didn't say anything as he thought you were just getting more dolled up for the hell of it. he gave you a quick compliment and went on his way, stating that he had a few things to do with Kiri before the day ended
you got a bit down, feeling that maybe he had forgotten. you quickly dismissed that thought, realizing that maybe he was planning a birthday party for you and didn't want you finding out.
the rest of the day flew by, an excited feeling bubbling up inside you as you inched closer to the end of the day. you wondered by Bakugou was planning on doing for your birthday. you knew Bakugou wasn't good with planning such lovey dovey things but since it was your birthday, you figured he must've done something.
you went to Bakugou's room, knocking on the door softly as you heard a rough come in. you were about to say hello when you realized he was in training close, ready to go workout with Kiri.
+
"where are you going?" you asked, twiddling with your fingers. he didn't bother to even look back at you, "training with Kirishma," he murmured.
you sighed, "oh, I just thought you would be able to come out with me tonight," you tried to say. he shook his head no. "no, I already told you I was going to train with weird hair so stop asking!" he screamed, making you jump a bit.
Kirishima gave you a sympathetic look as you gave Bakugou one last look and walked out of his dorm.
you walked into the hallway, seeing Uraraka and Momo walking out of Momo's dorm with a small cake. they immediately saw your tear stained face and put the cake down.
"hey, what's wrong?" Momo asked. you sighed, trying to get out what you were saying but the sobs that racked your body wouldn't let you, "wait, are you trying to say that Bakugou forgot your birthday?" Uraraka asked.
you nodded, "I thought he was trying to throw me a surprise party but I walked in there, asking him if he wanted to do anything and he kicked me out saying that he was going to workout with Kirishima," upon you finishing your sentence, Bakugou and Kirishima walked out.
Uraraka gave Bakugou a death glare as Momo pulled you into her arms and walked you into your dorm. Bakugou paid no mind to them as Kirishima looked to him and sighed. "pretty crappy day for her, huh?" Kirishima asked, looking at your dorm room door. Bakugou shrugged, "she'll be fine later. she's probably mad about earlier," he said, not putting much mind on it.
Kiri gave him a look, making Bakugou confused, "I guess. just sucks she spent her birthday trapped in her room but whatever you said bro," Bakugou stood in place, wide eyed realizing that today was in fact your birthday. "
don't tell me you forgot." "FUCK."
Kirishima slammed his hands against his face, not wanting to see Bakugou's face. Bakugou felt his heart drop, feeling a huge sensation of guilt and sadness washing over him. "that's why everyone was surrounding her desk this morning," Kirishima nodded, shaking his head in disappointment, "I don't know dude, you better figure it out before it gets worse," he mentioned before walking away.
Bakugou walked into his room, slamming the door and laying his bed. he had no idea how he was going to even start to apologize to you but he knew he had to do it tonight.
he knew Kirishima had a point.
he hadn't been the most diligent in trying to be with you recently and he kept shoving and cancelling your dates last minute to train or get work done. Bakugou was the one who asked you out first and promised you he would try his hardest to make it work out and now you were crying on your birthday.
the night was coming in and he walked over to your door, quietly knocking on it. you didn't bother to open it, knowing it was Bakugou who was more than likely to be the one who was knocking.
you flipped to the other side of the bed and ignored the knock, figuring he would leave you alone if you didn't answer. Bakugou knew that you kept the spare key for your dorm room in the small pot by your door. he dug for it, panicking that maybe you had moved it but as he finally found it, he grabbed it and unlocked it.
“hey,” his rough voice said. you shut your eyes, pretending to be asleep so he could leave quicker. he went by your side of the bed, realizing that you had fallen asleep, “damn, I didn’t think you’d be in bed this early.”
he sighed, sitting on the edge of your bed.
“listen, I know you probably don’t care for what I have to say but you mean a lot to me, idiot. I know I fucked up, big time actually but I want to make it up to you. please? I thought maybe we could get dinner, let me treat you right and like I’m supposed too.”
Bakugou moved a piece of your hair out of the way and kissed your hair softly. a part of you wanted to continue to be upset at him but hearing his apology and what he wanted to do to make it up to you, you wanted to wake up.
“I guess I’ll be leaving before Aizawa kills us.”
you shuffled in place, pretending to wake up, making Bakugou turn his head around to look at you. “Suki?” you whispered, rubbing your eyes.
he made his way back to you, sitting on the edge of bed, “I’m sorry for what I did today,” he murmured, not even wanting to look at you in the eye, “I’ve been a dick, more than usual recently and none of it has been your fault. can I make it up to you?” he asked.
you stayed silent for a moment, “Suki, I understand that you’ve been a lot more busier than usual but that isn’t my fault. it really hurt that you forgot my birthday and it hurts even more that you’ve been putting me in second place,” you murmured, trying not to sound hurt.
Katsuki nodded.
“I know. I promise I’ll do better.”
he gave you a kiss on the cheek before getting up from the bed and getting ready to leave, “love you Suki’,” you said, finding a comfortable spot in bed again, “you better,” he laughed before leaving.
you were beyond livid. todoroki had been anticipating your birthday for weeks now. the two of you were planning on going out to dinner if Aizawa had given you both permission, which he gladly allowed but two days before the outing came and he wasn’t having a good day. insults were being said and now the two of you were angry to say the least.
you figured that maybe by Saturday, he would have forgotten about the argument and the date would still have happened but what you hoped for fell through and now it was noon on Saturday and you were in your room crying to Kaminari of all people.
he rubbed your back, trying to get you to calm down as he told you to try and forget about the argument. he knew the two of you liked each other a lot but he couldn’t help but side with you on this one so he suggested a plan!
he took Todoroki’s spot for the day and the two of you went out for your birthday. since no one else had gotten permission to leave for the day, only Kaminari was able to do this but in the backside of your mind, you knew Todoroki was going to be upset to say the least.
+
both you and Kaminari walked to the nearest train station and took the ride to the outskirts of the city and went to a small ramen shop to catch a late lunch/early dinner.
the only one who knew about you and Kaminari leaving was ironically enough, Bakugou. he had saw the two of you leaving the building, unenthusiastically asking where the two of you were going since you were leaving school premises.
“so, we still have a few hours before we’re due back to school,” Kaminari reminded you. you gave him the signal to give you a minute and pulled up the nearest arcade, which happened only to be a few blocks from the ramen shop and a bit closer the train station, “you in the mood to play arcade games?”
-
Todoroki walked down stairs to the kitchen, hoping that you were to see what kind of mood you were in. he wanted to apologize for getting angry at you and prepare himself for you dinner date in a few days.
“hey Todoroki!” Midoriya greeted, as happily as ever. he waved at the green haired boy as he sat down next to him and watched him scroll through his Snapchat story, “oh, ( your name ) isn’t on campus?” Midoriya asked him.
Todoroki gave him a confused look, “what do mean?” he asked back, a small bit of panic settling in the pit of his stomach. “oh, well, since it’s birthday, it looks like she went out with Kaminari,” he replied, showing Todoroki his snapchat.
you and Kaminari both had posted a few photos and videos from the day. the ramen the two of you had eaten and then a few videos from the arcade. you were playing Mario Kart, singing some really REALLY shitty karaoke, and eating some really bad junk food.
“is something wrong?” Midoriya asked. Todoroki ran his fingers through his hair, panic finally fully setting into his stomach, “I didn’t remember that today was her birthday,” he murmured, playing with his lip as Midoriya’s eyes widened, hearing what his friend was saying.
the two of you remained quiet, trying not to freak out.
“what do you mean forgot? I thought the two of you were both planning something out!” Midoriya exclaimed, “we were but then the two of us got into a pretty bad argument and haven’t talked since. I forgot that we were supposed to go out together today and I think she took Kaminari instead,” he explained.
Bakugou chuckled, shaking his head, “she sure did. I’m on Kaminari’s private Snapchat story and they seem to be getting really close,” he tossed his phone to Todoroki who watched the two of you dancing and singing together.
Kaminari was sitting pretty close to you, his arm was around your waist, a little too firm for Todoroki’s liking. Bakugou couldn’t help but laugh at his ‘friends’ reaction as he tried to keep his anger to a minimum as he continued to watch his story.
you were damn near cuddled up to his chest, laughing and giggling at whatever Denki was telling you and he HATED it. you never acted like that around him. you never laughed or giggled that way with him. never have you ever held yourself like that with him.
“well, did you get her anything at least? that should save your ass, at least a little bit,” Bakugou said. Todoroki stared at the floor, too scared to look at them when he replied no, “well then....don’t act surprised if she doesn’t take you back after this,” he added on.
“Kacchan!” “it’s true! you’re just mad I’m right. Kaminari might be an idiot but he can actually hold a conversation with a girl and be civil around them when he puts his one brain cell to use.”
Todoroki growled, remaining silent for the rest of the night as he stayed downstairs to wait for you. now that he was realizing it, the way you were being with Kaminari did correlate to what Bakugou was saying and although he didn’t want to admit to it, he knew Bakugou had a point.
the night crawled in as Todoroki was now alone in the living room. you were getting to the front of the building, Kaminari telling you some stupid joke that made you hysterically laugh as you walked into the living space. upon entering it, you saw Todoroki sitting there with shame and anger on his face.
you waved Kaminari good, telling him you’d text him later to thank him for hanging out with you. you stared at half-n-half, not saying a word, your face saying everything it needed too.
“where were you today?” “out with Kaminari.”
your short sentences made him realize you were still as angry as you were the day you argued with him. “I saw you getting pretty close with him,” Todoroki stated. you chuckled, not believing what he was telling you. “yup, that’s kind of what happens when your boyfriend was being a dick on your birthday,” and there it is, Todoroki thought.
“you could have reminded me about today.”
“REMINDED YOU ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY?”
your voice was at an all time high, not caring who heard. “you know what? this is useless. your playing the victim when in reality I should be! it’s my fucking birthday and you know what I got as a birthday gift? another argument from my fucking boyfriend and not even a measly happy birthday text.” you continued to yell.
“you know what?” Todoroki was suddenly nervous about you quick attiude change, “maybe what Kami said was true. maybe you need to weed out the dicks in your life until you get to the good people.” you said before walking away and not sparing Todoroki another glance.
this argument happened the day of your birthday, actually. he had forgotten your birthday and although you had told him a few days in advanced, you weren’t making a big deal of the day itself.
you just wanted to make a small cake, enough to feed you and Iida so when you asked him if he wanted to come to your dorm after dinner so you could eat the cake together and he outrightly denied, claiming he had a ton of training and homework to get done.
“seriously? it’ll just be thirty minutes!” “no! I told you, I have to train for exactly an hour and a half before I take a shower and do homework! you should have known that. I wonder why we’re even together with that dismissive attitude of yours.” “IT’S MY BIRTHDAY YOU DICK!”
he stared at you, your birthday had completely passed his mind and he felt so shitty as you dropped the cake on the floor, letting it splatter everywhere.
+
everyone who heard the conversation stared at each other, not wanting to say anything as they saw Iida process what he had told you. he never meant to insinuate that he wanted to break up with you but it came out like word vomit and you were gone.
he grabbed a mop and broom, slowly picking it up as he saw the disappointed faces of his friends. Iida knew he fucked up, way too badly this time and now you were crying on your birthday, practically broken hearted and angry at him.
Iida sighed, sitting at his desk and mourning silently. the time read 7:30 and he wanted to do nothing more than bang on your door and apologize like there was no tomorrow but he knew that idea could be thrown out the window as you weren’t even texting him back.
he saw the small gift you had given him on his birthday and felt a small wave tears hit his eyes. you did so much for him, going out of your way to bring him lunch on some days and other days, you offered to patch him up if you saw that he had gotten busted up during training.
Iida stood up, going to the door and running to the kitchen. he knew this could be the only thing he could do to even start making it up to you again. you loved the cookies that Tensei had made for him a few weeks ago when he dropped by to visit.
he called his brother, explaining the situation to him as he immediately got a mini lecture as a response. Tensei basically yelling at him for not treating you right and how guilty he should be feeling for not only forgetting your birthday but also making you cry today.
Iida got work as Tensei explained everything to make the cookies. he was lucky enough to have everything he needed to make the cookies, even going out of his way to remind himself to put small written notes on the cookies themselves when he finished.
within that time, you were laying in bed, thinking about everything that Iida told you. you tried not to think about it, putting it on the fact that maybe he was stressed and forgot and everything just came tumbling out of his mouth. regardless, you tried to sleep, only to be awoken by a frantic knock.
you growled, slipping on one of Iida’s sweaters and going to the door. to your surprise, it was Iida himself, holding a plate of cookies and words coming out of his mouth like vomit.
“I am so sorry. I meant nothing I said earlier and I apologize for acting extremely out of line. I never meant to insinuate that I wanted to break up with you and I never wanted to in the first place. please forgive me.”
you stared at him, lifting an eyebrow before rolling your eyes playfully, “the next time you decide to say something like that, we’re over and you’re not getting another chance after that,” you stated, taking a bite of the cookie and instantly letting out a moan of pleasure, “holy shit, are these Tensei’s cookies?” he nodded as you snatched the plate out of his hand.
“that sucks that you made me cry tonight because we could have shared them but since you are on thin ice, these are mine! see you tomorrow, Iida!” you giggled, shutting the door on his face. “see you tomorrow, love.” he replied, a smile on his face as he made his way back to his dorm room to finish up some homework.

Savior
Bucky Barnes x Reader
Summary: Basically, Bucky saves you and then stalks you.
Words: 1596
Warning/notes: it’s just fluff…that’s it. There’s some cursing. At the end is a random day in the future. High chance of typos…like mega high.
He had saved you once; just once. One time you found yourself in a questionable situation with some drunk men who wanted your money. And yes, you were grateful for the rescue, and yes, he was Bucky Barnes; The Winter Soldier; the super sexy, metal-armed, bad boy turned good. But that didn’t mean he was allowed to stalk you, and yet, that’s all he’d done since he handed you your purse back and sent those men to the emergency room.
Every day for two weeks you’d seen him and somehow, despite his skill, it seemed he had failed to notice that you were well aware of him watching. First, it was Maggie’s Diner on a Friday evening as you ate dinner with your friends. Maggie had come over to greet her long-time customers, and as she did, she patted your shoulder with a coy smile and a chuckle, pointing to the back of a man who sat at the counter top.
“Every few minutes he looks your way, Y/N. I think he might have a little crush.” She’d said.
You had looked past her plump form and immediately knew it was him. The baseball cap hiding his brown locks pulled low over his eyes; The black leather jacket snugly fitted over his shoulders with a sleeve that slipped up every time he took a sip of his drink, showing an inch of his metal arm. For who he was, his subtlety was surprisingly lacking.
Your friends had only oohed and awed. Anyone would know he was hot even if only looking at him from behind. There was no way God would give him a body like that and not grant a face to match. But it didn’t faze you. You knew better, you just didn’t know why he was choosing to follow you of all people.
After that, it was seeing him outside of your workplace, watching from across the street and quickly hiding his face if you glanced his way. When you thought he had finally left you alone, you saw him at the local summer carnival. If you played the balloon dart game, he was a few booths down shooting little rotating metal ducks with a toy shotgun like they were the enemy. If you went to the arcade, he was fifteen feet away playing the claw game and winning himself a fairly substantial sized stuffed bear that he later used to duck behind when you whipped around fast to see if you could catch him staring.
He was relentless, you would give him that. But you didn’t know how long he would trail your every move before giving up. It seemed like he would never stop, and you were growing tired of playing the oblivious.
————————————————–
Your eyes bore into the back pages of the wide-open newspaper he’d been pretending to read for the last hour as you sipped your coffee a few tables over. He flicked the top corner down half and inch and, with one eye, peered over it. With your lips around the plastic cup you rose an eyebrow and he quickly straightened the paper again.
You chuckled. There was something cute about how he watched over you like some sort of guardian angel. Cute, of course, if it wasn’t so fucking creepy.
Standing sharply, you tossed your empty cup into the nearest trash can and made your way over to him, then snatched the paper right out of his large hands. You crossed your arms and stared down at him.
“You really don’t give up, huh?”
He cleared his throat and shifted uncomfortably in the polished wooden chair. “I, uh, I don’t know what you’re talking about, Y/N.”
You rolled your eyes. He didn’t know what you were talking about, and yet, he figured out your name. You certainly hadn’t told him before. “Don’t you have better things to do than follow me around? Like saving the world or something?”
He crossed his arms, staring up at you in sudden slight challenge. “It’s been surprisingly quiet lately. And believe it or not, little old ladies who need help crossing the street prefer Captain America.”
“Gee, I wonder why.”
Bucky sighed and removed his cap to run a hand through his hair before placing it back on his head. “Look, I just wanted to make sure you’ve stayed save, that’s all.”
“Well, as you’ve seen, I’ve been a good girl.”
“Yea, you’ve been a good girl,” He said, his eyes meeting yours. You shivered at the way those words passed his lips. “But it’s got nothing to do with your behavior. It’s others. I don’t trust them.”
You glared down at him but he didn’t flinch, only glared back with an intensity that could not be broken. “Can I ask you one thing?”
“Of course.”
“Do you know where I live?”
His fixed stare cracked at your question and his eyes darted to his lap. “…No,” He mumbled, then looked back at you.
You narrowed your gaze and frowned. “Are you lying?”
“…Maybe.”
“Jesus,” You scoffed. “Do you know how creepy that is?”
“It’s not creepy!” He snapped a little too loud, drawing the attention of other coffee-craving patrons. He lowered his voice at the numerous scowls. “It’s good intentions disguised as somewhat crossing a boundary.”
“Somewhat?”
“Yes, somewhat. It could be much worse. I could’ve snooped around your apartment. The worst I’ve done is make sure the locks on your front door can’t be opened with a twisted paper clip.”
“…I should be so mad,” You said. “I should file a restraining order, for fucks sake.”
His eyebrows rose and lips parted as the last thread of his tough composure busted. “You’re not mad?”
“No, I’m…” You uncrossed your arms, shedding your hardened shell. “I don’t know, but I’m—”
“But you’re not mad,” He smiled.
You sighed and rolled your eyes. “…No.”
——————————————————–
You groaned at the horrible, grating sound that yanked you out of a deep sleep. Turning your head left and right, you noticed two things that had the corners of your mouth tipping down. One, the clock on your dresser read three in the morning. Two, your boyfriend was not in bed beside you. Then that piercing sound began again.
Throwing the covers off your legs and tiptoeing out of the bedroom, you looked around to find Bucky at your entryway, drilling a barrel bolt and chain lock across the front door. With a breathy chuckle, you stepped up behind him and wrapped your arms around his waist, then placed a small kiss at the back of his neck.
“Are you aware of the time?” You asked against his skin.
“Almost done,” He replied. He picked up another screw, placed it appropriately, and shocked your eardrums once again with the large electric tool. “There,” He said with satisfaction then turned in your arms.
He set the drill on the side table where your keys lived and wrapped his arms around you.
“Baby…” You started.
He hummed back.
“What are you doing?”
“I forgot to put the locks on last night before bed.”
“It couldn’t wait until morning?”
He shook his head. “I heard a bunch of drunk stumbling in the hallway about a half hour ago. Someone jiggled the doorknob.”
“And is the offender still alive?”
“Oh, Ha Ha.” He said sarcastically. “I just want to make sure you’re safe.”
“Somehow I think you sleeping next to me is more effective than a couple locks, safety wise.”
“You can never be too cautious, Doll.”
Snickering, you touched your forehead to his bare chest. “Oh, God…”
“You’re upset.”
You looked up at him and leaned up to softly kiss him. “No, Baby. I just love you. I love that you take such good care of me.”
“Yea?”
“Yea.”
He tucked some hair behind your ear. “I’m always afraid one day you’ll find me too overprotective.”
Shaking your head, you said “I think you’re just protective enough.”
He smiled and cupped your face, running his thumbs along your cheekbones. “I love you, too.”
“I know,” You grinned. “You make that clearer every day.”
———————————————————
Extra: Random Day, Two Years Later…
“Apples, check; Chicken, check; Shampoo, check; Weird book that your mother wanted for her birthday, check” You said to yourself as you looked over your list. That was the last of it and thank God; you hated shopping. You were ready to hightail it out of there once you found your husband.
As if summoned at the thought of him, Bucky’s large form appeared at your side. You looked up at him with an affectionate smile that immediately dropped when you saw the puppy-dog expression on his face. Then, you looked down.
“No,” You said sternly and glanced back at the wrinkly piece of white notepad paper in your hands.
“What do you mean ‘no?’ He whined.
“I mean,” You met his eyes, “No.” You stared at the numerous equally shaped boxes bundled in his arms—four of them, by your count—and shook your head. “We don’t need any more.”
“How can you say that?”
Turning your body toward his, you crossed your arms the best you could over your swelling belly. “Because as it is, we have eight, two per room in the apartment and that is if we include the bathroom. I am not changing that to three.”
“Y/N, baby monitors are necessary.”
“Yes, one per room. And don’t think for a second I’m not taking the ones out of the bathroom.”
“And if our baby crawls in there?”
“She won’t. We’ll watch her.”
“Y/N—”
“Put them back, Bucky.”
He huffed. “Fine.”

hi hi! congrats on the milestone! ❤️ i enjoy reading your works and i’m excited to read more from you! i hope it’s not too late to join the event 🥰
i’d like a match up, please!
i’m 22 years old, a libra! i’m around 5’3. i’m bisexual with no preferences! ^^
my mbti is intp. i’m quiet for the most part, only have a handful of close friends and i avoid the crowd as much as possible. i’m quite content with the lack of social presence, but if someone approaches me and tries to form a friendship or conversation of some sort, then i wouldn’t mind interacting for a bit! i feel like i’m loud and unfiltered around friends, but i’m definitely more in my zone if we are in a group chat ^^ i’m also mostly seen watching a random facts video because i find them interesting.
my hair is brown and up to my shoulders with some side bangs. you’ll most likely see me wear a random meme shirt tucked into a skirt or shorts while wearing a slightly oversized wind breaker. if the days are a bit colder, i’ll be wearing a cute sweater with some jeans ^^
i’m quite a collector, so if there’s a series that i like then i’ll be collecting anything that involves them. i also collect plushies and cards! 🥺 for the most part i just read manga or random, yet informative videos. i may not be the best at school, but i can tell you a fact or two that may or may not change your life 🏃♀️
i’d like to get matched with a tokyo revengers character please! thanks a bunch 🥺❤️ sorry if the formatting is bad, mobile problems 🏃♀️
You sound so cool!! 💕 And thank you so much! ❤️ Plus, it's read more due to the length 😅 I may have got carried away so I'm sorry 😂❤️
I am matching you off with...
Shinichiro Sano ❤️
You had stumbled across S.S MOTORS while looking for a mechanic. You didn't need one but your friend knew someone who needed their bike fixed and since they were busy, you had offered to search around Shibuya for them. Such a good friend.
As you entered the bike shop, you took notice to how many young boys were scattered around the premises. They all hadn't taken notice of you yet, something that had you relieved. Although, searching around the entire shop floor with a glance, you couldn't see the owner so maybe asking one of the boys would be your only option.
Shinichiro had left the shop for a few moments while he went to go and buy some refreshments for both himself and the boys. Of course this was mainly Coke. It was his favourite and he was the one who went out to get them. But when he walked back through the entrance, the black haired man couldn't help but stop. A lovely brunette in an oversized windbreaker was awkwardly standing in the shop.
As everyone knew, Shinichiro only had two weaknesses; fighting and women. So when his dark eyes landed on your gorgeous figure, he couldn't help but check you out before making his way towards his workbench. Setting the drinks down as casually as he could, Shinichiro turned around to address you.
Your attention snapped towards the man who entered and you hated to admit that you found him really attractive. But you could daydream about the man later, you were here on business. And so you told him about the situation.
The conversation may have started off about business but it wasn't long until Shin had managed to change the subject so he could learn more about you. After all, he had quickly developed a crush on you. By the time you needed to leave, the man had learnt a lot about you and also managed to get your number.
Ever since that day, you made a point of visiting S.S MOTORS whenever you had free time. There was something about Shinichiro and his shop that made you want to go back each time. Not that Shinichiro minded. However, you were starting to gain the attention from the boys that regularly visited as well.
It had taken a month before the male had asked you out on a date. He was preparing himself for rejection (he was used to it) but was happily surprised when you accepted almost immediately. The boys made sure to tell you all the reasons why you shouldn't have accepted and how they would be better for you. But you ignored them in the nicest way possible. After all, you were too old to be dating 12-13 year olds.
The date was simple. Shinichiro picked you up from your home, took you for a nice meal before ending the night with a bike ride around Shibuya and Shinjuku. You loved every moment. And the night ended with a kiss on the cheek for the Sano, so he would count it as a huge success.
It wasn't long until you were in a committed relationship with the Sano. He was a dork but you had developed strong feelings for him, so why shouldn't you follow them.
A relationship with Shinichiro Sano would definitely include spending a lot of your free time together in the bike shop. It's his favourite place to be and you enjoyed chatting away to him while he worked. He would love how you would tell him random facts you had heard in your latest fact video, not being able to hold the laughter in at some of them. You were just too cute in his eyes.
You would tell Shin about your collections of merch based on series you enjoyed. While he may not fully understand why you spent your money on things like that, he didn't have room to talk since his bike shop was basically a huge collection for him. Bikes interested him and so he collected models and parts. It was pretty much the same as your collecting tendancies. Although he doesn't understand it, he will buy you new pieces to add to the latest one. He just loved to see your eyes light up when he presents it to you.
You best believe you will be taken to the Sano home and dojo to meet his family. Shinichiro is very family-orientated and so held a lot of importance in introducing you. When you had gotten there, you recognised Mikey as the boy who had told you to not pursue Shin because 'he is really weak' and said you should date someone strong like him. At the memory, you couldn't stop the giggles that escaped past your lips only to be caught by your hand.
Emma would love you. She enjoys how there was finally a female she could talk to since she was stuck being surrounded by boys. You would love her just as much, telling her how cute she was while styling her beautiful blond locks.
Mikey would still try and convince you that Shinichiro was too weak for you and that finding someone strong would be for the best. You knew he didn't really mean it and so it was quite funny. In fact, Mikey liked having you around since you made his older brother happier and that's all the blond wanted for his siblings.
Grandpa Sano would accept you instantly. He would tell you how you were a positive influence on Shinichiro and that you should keep up the good work.
Dates with this man would be similar to your first date. However, Shinichiro would also take you to the arcade a lot where he would try and win you some plushies from the claw machines. It was super sweet but you would have to prevent him from spending all his money just to win one plushie. He gets super bummed if he can't win you one so please reassure him that it's fine.
Home dates are also a must. A movie, pizza, coke and cuddles. The perfect date for the Sano. You got to choose the movie since Shinichiro would always get distracted with how cute you were.
Being with Shinichiro was everything you would expect it to be. A lot of hang outs at the shop with the boys, meeting the other first gen Black Dragons, and sweet yet dorky moments. Affection is a must and so I would be prepared for lots of kisses and cuddles.

You woke up to someone shaking you awake gently. You were in a deep sleep, a sleep so deep that you didn’t even dream. You were just exhausted, your face buried into the fluffy pillow as drool dribbled down your chin.
“Y/n? Y/n?”
You groaned. Who was calling your name? Couldn’t it wait??? This was some of the best sleep that you’d ever gotten. You grunted and rolled over, pulling the blanket over your head and settling into your new sleeping position. That didn’t seem to matter though because someone ripped the blankets from your body harshly, and your eyes flew open in annoyance.
“Y/n!”
“What?” you snapped angrily, sitting up to face who was bothering you. Kara’s groggy, but confused blue eyes stared back at you.
Immediately your anger dissipated, and you rubbed your face.
“Oh god Kara, I’m so sorry.”
“It’s okay,” she said, giving you a cute smile. “I only woke you up because your phone has been going crazy.”
It wasn’t until she pointed out the small device did you realize that notification after notification was making it go off. You picked it up and scrolled through everything, you heart dropping to the floor when you saw that it was work.
“What day is it?” you demanded.
“What?” Kara asked, taken back by your panic and intensity.
“Kara, what day is it??”
“It’s Saturday.”
Work. You were supposed to be at work with Lena. You had to give her all the reports plus provide her an update with the deal with Japan.
“Shit!” you swore as you scrambled to get out of bed, but successfully managed to fall on the floor. Kara was by your side in an instant, super speeding to you and helping you up.
“Thank you,” you said breathlessly as you sidestepped her and continue to get ready as fast as you could.
“I’m sorry,” Kara said as she got dressed too. “If I knew that you had to work, I would have woken you up sooner. You didn’t get back from your trip until late last night and I wanted you to rest.”
You tugged a blouse over your head and fixed your hair into a tight bun. “What are you talking about? I didn’t go on a trip.”
Kara paused. “Yes, you did. You asked me to babysit, remember?”
You paused. No, you didn’t. You had no recollection of what happened or what you were doing in the past 24 hours, but you weren’t going to let Kara know that.
“Oh yeah,” you said quickly. “Thanks for doing that.”
Kara looked at you with an eyebrow raised. “Sure thing.”
You knew that look. Kara knew that you were lying, and there was no doubt that she would question you about it later.
“Kara, can you do me a favor,” you called out as you shoved you legs through some slacks.
She appeared beside you again, already wearing her super suit.
“Take you to work?”
You smiled and kissed her hard. “God, what would I do without you?”
Kara blushed, taking you into her arms the moment you were done getting ready. “Honestly, I don’t know.”
***
Kara dropped you off on the balcony of your office when she saw that it was clear. You kissed her again on the cheek before she left.
“Thank you so much,” you said to her gratefully. Kara kissed the back of your hands, smiling as she did so.
“Have a good day, okay?”
“I’ll try. That’s not if I’m fired.”
Kara smiled brightly. “Lena wouldn’t fire you, but.”
“But, what?”
“She might actually put you over her knee and spank you.”
You scoffed and cocked an eyebrow. “Well don’t threaten me with a good time.”
Kara laughed, her head thrown back in amusement as she pulled you in for a chaste kiss. “Okay I have to go. I’ll see you later?”
You nodded. “Love you.”
“Love you too,” Kara replied before she stepped on to the balcony and took off into the air.
It was only a couple of minutes later when Lena stepped into the office. She had folders in her arms and didn’t seem to see you until she looked up and stopped.
“Oh, Y/n. I didn’t know you were here.”
“Ms. Luthor, I am so sorry that I’m late. Things have been getting away from me as of late.”
Lena smiled. She didn’t look angry with you at all be you could feel yourself relaxing.
“It’s okay. If anything, I’m glad you’re here. I wanted to tell you that I can handle L-Corp for a few days.”
You paused, looking at her. “Is this because I was late this morning?”
Lena looked at you. “No Y/n, that’s not it at all. I know you’ve been under a lot of stress. This job can be a lot, and you do have other things to worry about. I want to help, you know? Take a load off of you.”
You pursed your lips. “Lena I can do this.”
“I know,” she said. “You are more than capable of handling things here. We all see that, but you still feel the need to keep proving yourself again and again. You have nothing to prove Y/n.”
You sighed, shifting your weight from one foot to the other. “Lena I can’t take time off right now,” you said as you rubbed your forehead.
“Actually, yes you can,” she replied simply. “In fact, I am ordering you to take today off. There’s nothing here that I can’t handle.”
She gave you level look, a small smile playing at her lips. “So go,” she continued on. “Go be with your family.”
You laughed. Well damn. No sense in arguing with a Luthor.
***
It was only an hour later when you and Angel were at the arcade, and you gave the cashier some money in exchange for tokens.
“So why are we here, again? I’m not complaining but I thought that you would be at work,” Angel asked you as she watched you take the tokens.
“Well, Lena told me to take the day off and I can’t argue with my boss.”
Angel smiled. “And you wanted to hang out with me?”
“Of course,” you said incredulously. “You’re my favorite daughter and I’m excited to hang out with you.”
“I’m your only daughter.”
You shrugged. “Details.”
Angel laughed as she looked around. “What are we playing first.”
“I’ve been eyeing that air hockey table since we walked in. You game?”
Angel smiled, her competitiveness showing through. “Oh, you’re on!”
That’s what you did too. For a while, you played with your daughter, laughing despite the fact that she was kicking your butt. It was nice, not having to worry about work or deadlines or more paperwork. It was just you and Angel, and nothing would make this better than if Kara was here.
***
Kara was called back to the DEO. Winn found the source of the earthquake, and she was out now, flying to the coordinates that Winn gave to her. When she reached it, she saw the massive monolith of criss crossing stone and rock. Kara landed and walked inside. To her surprise, it looked like the Fortress of Solitude, and she couldn’t help but touch the control panel that held the beacon. It lit up, humming loudly as Kara watched it send out a signal. The signal, red in color, shot into the air before dispersing into the air. Kara froze, her mouth wide in shock. Whatever she did, it couldn’t have been good.
***
You were laughing with Angel and having the best time in your life. You stepped away to grab some snacks from the vendor when suddenly your world went dark. There was no warning, no way to prepare yourself, just the feeling of nothingness. You were no more and oblivious to the fact that you were taken over. You stepped out of line with your eyes glowing a crimson red and you smiled harshly. In a burst of superspeed, you were gone, and Angel was left all alone in the arcade.

whatever you say - peter parker imagine
A/N: I don’t normally write nsfw spidey things but my fingers just wouldn’t stop typing so please do forgive me… not any actual smut, just lots of flirting and implications of sexual favors
It was strange, but for some reason, you found complete comfort in the simplicity that was Peter Parker. He lived in a small apartment with his Aunt May in Forest Hills, went to Midtown High, and at first glance, seemed like your typical teenage boy. May worked as an ER nurse and Peter kept up on his studies, proving to be a straight A student who succeeded not only in school, but in extracurriculars and academic teams as well. He liked science and math, he was really good at building robots, and he thoroughly enjoyed memorizing equations. When he wasn’t acing his tests, he spent his free time building LEGOs and watching Star Wars in his apartment or walking through town and debating between eating pizza or sub sandwiches. He had a messy bedroom cluttered with dirty laundry, an assortment of different computer parts, and countless science textbooks and academic journals. Three months ago, when you first started dating Peter Parker, this is the boy you thought you knew.
Your life, however, felt like the complete opposite. Being the daughter of Tony Stark, your day to day was far from simple. You lived in Stark Tower with Tony, cooped up on a floor with everything you could ever want or need, a master bedroom with a flat screen television, personal jacuzzi, walk in closet, arcade- you name it, Tony had it. School proved to be a breeze, and you had your MIT valedictorian of a father to thank for that, leaving you plenty of time for your own sort of extracurriculars. Rather than hang out at school and build lousy robots with Peter Parker, you’d much rather go to the lab and work on some high tech AI coding, super suit dynamics, or machine prototypes with your dad and the other avengers. He often urged you not to get too involved for your own safety, but you found yourself growing close with Bruce and Sam, bonding over your shared love for innovation. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t take after your father.
However, months passed, and the more time you spent with Peter Parker, the more you caught onto the fact that his life might not have been as normal as you initially thought it was. He kept disappearing randomly, ghosting you on planned dates, or not showing up at school. At first you thought he was just nervous, or maybe he didn’t really like you, but upon further investigation, it was evident. His life was just as crazy as yours. Although you thought it was weird that he never bothered telling you he was Spider-Man, and even weirder he didn’t inform you that he previously knew your dad, you almost liked the fact that you could share your secret world of superhero knowledge with him. You found yourselves relating to each other by joking about Steve’s old fashioned manners or Natasha’s resting bitch face. Although, other times also through confiding secret fears or discussing worst possible outcomes.
Tonight was one of the latter, you and Peter talking on the phone despite the time reading two in the morning, him trying to ease your anxiety. “It’s just been a couple days and Tony’s still not back yet…” you sighed, shrouded by your blankets, the soft glow of your phone illuminating the dark room. “He’s with Sam and he’s probably going to be just fine, but I’m still scared. And I know, I know. I’m not supposed have knowledge about those affiliated with the mission or his location, but sometimes I just can’t help but worry.”
“It must be hard,” Peter hummed in sympathy. “I’m sorry you have to go through that. May feels the same way about me.”
You paused for a moment. “I know it’s a horrible thing to think, and I’m probably just psyching myself out but-” your voice caught, shaking your head, closing your eyes. “Sometimes I wonder what if one day he just doesn’t come back.”
“Hey,” Peter hushed. “Try not to think about that, okay? He’s Iron Man, y/n, he’s fought alien monsters and literal gods, he should be just fine. Mr. Stark never goes down without a fight, he’ll be back. I’m sure of it.”
“I just can’t sleep not knowing,” you confessed, feeling sorry for dragging Peter into your own personal troubles. “I don’t know, I’m sorry… I’m probably keeping you up, and you have a calc test tomorrow-”
“No, no, don’t apologize, you’re okay,” your sweet boyfriend insisted. He paused, listening to your heavy breathing. “Do you want me to come over?”
“W-what?” you asked, confused.
“I know it’s late but if it would make you feel better, I can come over,” Peter offered. “I’ll just come to your window and you can let me in that way. I can keep you company, you can talk to me, or we can watch a movie to get your mind off things, I don’t know. Only if you want to.”
“You’d do that for me?” you wondered, growing soft at his words.
“I just don’t want you to be sad,” he explained. “And I know it’s hard with your dad being gone and all, and sure Pepper’s there, but I know you’ve never really been that close with her, and I just- I don’t know. I feel like you’re lonely, and I want to help.”
“Yeah, thank you,” you gave a soft smile. “I mean, if you want to, I wouldn’t fight you on it.”
“Just be sure to disarm FRIDAY before I come,” he reminded. “I don’t need your dad putting bars on your windows the next time I try to visit you like this.”
“Oh right!” you suddenly came to the realization. “Smart. I’ll go do that now.”
“Cool, I’ll see you in a few. Don’t miss me too much,” he teased.
“Hey, be safe! No texting and swinging!” you reminded playfully as you hung up and instantly got to work, shedding your sheets and grabbing your laptop, sliding back into bed and working out some coding.
Just as Tony had previously set up a baby monitor protocol on Peter’s suit, he had likewise set up parental controls through FRIDAY on all of your tower floor. You learned this when you tried to sneak out to a party Tony specifically forbid you from going to, and when you finally reached the elevator doors, FRIDAY locked you inside and you had to wait for Tony to come and get you. Since then, you’d been smart enough to disarm the system anytime you left your room after curfew or got into any other business Tony would obviously disapprove of. Spider-Man sneaking through your window at two in the morning to give you comfort cuddles? Probably something your father would disapprove of.
Peter tapped twice and waved, you rolling your eyes and laughing, motioning for him to come in before he slid up the glass of your window and crawled through, brushing off his suit and tugging off his mask, smiling once he clearly saw you sitting in bed, wearing one of his hoodies, grinning back at him.
“Hey Spidey,” you beamed, watching as he walked over towards your bed, kissing you softly. He tasted sweet, like candy, and you melted into the kiss, grabbing the back of his head and staying there for a moment before pulling away. He gave the best kisses.
“Heard someone needed some cheering up,” he whispered, tossing his mask on your night stand as you made grabby hands begging him to crawl into bed with you. He chuckled, giving in and situating himself underneath your covers awkwardly. You laughed alongside him, tugging him closer, pulling the sheets up over both of you, initially wincing at how cold his suit was when you went to wrap your arms around him.
“You’re freezing, Peter,” you hissed and he chuckled, rolling his eyes.
“It was windy outside, alright?” he sighed. “Come warm me up.”
“Well come closer, doofus,” you chuckled. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer to him, your head resting against his shoulder, arm draped over his chest, fingers playing with locks of his hair. Your voice grew to a soft whisper. “Thanks for coming, baby.”
“Anything for you, love,” he insisted, his hand rubbing soft circles on the small of your back. The room grew quiet, his hands trailing up and down your back, your fingers brushing through his messy brown locks, both of you simply enjoying each other’s company. At some point you both fell asleep, soft snores dissipating throughout the room, holding each other.
In the morning, Peter begrudgingly convinced himself he had to get up and get ready for school, kissing you on the forehead and reassuring he’d see you at lunch later that day. You groaned yourself, realizing you should probably get up and resume FRIDAY’s commands before Pepper or Happy got suspicious as to why she wasn’t giving them any updates on your morning status. You took a shower and threw on some clothes, getting ready for the school day, smiling once you saw Peter waiting for you by your locker, a Starbucks cup in his hand.
“What’s this?” you couldn’t help but laugh in surprise.
“Well I know you were sad last night and again, I just wanted to cheer you up,” he shrugged, and you found it adorable that you had been dating for going on four months now and he still got flustered being around you. “I know you like the pink one with the strawberries and the coconuts, but they were out, so I got you a peach lemonade instead, I hope that’s okay-”
“It’s wonderful, Peter,” you insisted, taking a sip and smiling fondly at your boyfriend. “Thank you. For everything. Really.”
“Damn Peter, you’re buying y/n Starbucks now?” Ned approached both of you. “You never buy me Starbucks.”
“I’m not dating you, Ned,” Peter narrowed his eyes, laughing.
“You don’t have to kiss me to buy me a cold brew,” Ned sighed.
“Anyways,” you rolled your eyes at the two boys quarreling. “You ready for that calculus exam?”
“I studied all night,” Ned smiled. “I’ve got this one down. How about you, Parker? I bet you were up late last night studying too, huh?”
“Up late last night,” you agreed. “I don’t know about studying though.”
Ned’s eyes went wide and both you and Peter laughed, the bell ringing and all of you walking to your classes. As they day went by, you started to find your mind lingering back to your dad. As much of an asshole as he was sometimes, and as overbearing and overprotective as he could get, you really did love him and care about him. Others would probably call you lame, but you really did see Tony as one of your best friends. He helped you build amazing inventions, supported you in all your academic endeavors, and did his best to look out for you. Whenever he was gone on missions for longer than a week, you always started to get worried as far as whether or not he would come back.
Peter could sense your anxiety, trying to lighten your mood with jokes or place a hand on your shoulder as a sign of affection. Afterschool he approached you, clutching onto the straps of his backpack, seeming nervous. “I’m sorry you’ve had such a rough day. I was thinking we could take your mind off of things and you could spend the night at my place tonight?” he offered.
“Really?” your eyes lit up, thinking how you would love more than anything to get out and do something tonight. Nothing was worse than staying at home and wallowing in your feelings.
“Yeah,” he gave a soft smile, thinking about how adorable you looked when you got excited. “Aunt May is working night shift so maybe, if it’s cool with you, we can grab a pizza, play some video games, and then watch a movie?”
“Of course,” he insisted. “And we can stop somewhere on the way home to grab some snacks too.”
“I’ll give Pepper a call and ask if I can stay over tonight, I’ll probably just say I’m with Gwen or something,” you grinned. “She’ll say yes, she usually lets me have free rein whenever Tony’s out of town.”
“Awesome,” Peter beamed.
Sure enough, you found the two of you hours later on the floor of his bedroom, eyes fixated on a television screen, playing Mario Kart and chowing down on some pepperoni pizza and cherry slushies. It was practically a ritual for you to hang out with Peter on weekends. As long as he didn’t have an academic decathlon the next morning, Aunt May let you stay as late as you wanted on Fridays. Saturdays you spent fooling around in the lab working on suit modifications, recalibrating certain machinery, or working on new projects. Sundays were official lazy days, both of you usually sleeping in and meeting up midday to cuddle on the couch and watch a movie, usually wrapping up with finishing your weekend homework over facetime. However, on the weekends in which Tony or May were out of the house, the two of you liked to have sleepovers. Usually at Peter’s for the sake of having to navigate FRIDAY’s complicated algorithms.
It wasn’t like anything particularly steamy happened between the two of you. You had been only dating for a handful of months now, and you were both in high school. Sure, you and Peter liked to cuddle a lot, and hold hands, and play with each other’s hair, but that was simply just affection. And of course, you loved kissing each other, especially when nobody else was around to make fun of you or scold you. Sometimes you found yourself getting into make out sessions, pressed up against each other and finding it hard to catch your breath, hearts racing and desperately clinging onto each other.
Occasionally it would heat up a little bit more than that, some grinding and groping and moaning, and a handful of times Peter’s taken his shirt off, but that was about it. You hadn’t even really reached second base with him yet. And you weren’t complaining, you were glad you were taking things slow. But at this point, you were ready. It just felt like it was time. But you knew this was Peter’s first serious relationship, and you didn’t want to put any pressure on him or rush him into things, so you were complacent with playing Mario Kart and eating pizza in the meantime.
“I am sooo going to kick your ass,” you warned Peter, pressing down hard on your Wii remote and hitting him with a red shell as your character zoomed past him on the race track, and he simply just laughed.
“Yeah? Wait till I break out Rainbow Road,” he insisted.
“Are you actually Satan or do you just hate me?” you narrowed your eyes. “There is no way I’m playing that shit, I think I’d rather forfeit.”
“It’s all about strategy and focus,” he argued, knocking Luigi out from second place, tailing right behind you, eyes glued to the screen.
“Strategy? You sound like Ned,” you snorted, drifting a curve and heading towards a shortcut. “That racetrack is nothing but a holographic highway of death.”
“If we had it your way, we would be playing Moo Moo Meadows on an endless loop,” Peter teased and you gasped playfully.
“What? It has fun music and I like looking at the cows,” you whined and he laughed, passing you at the last minute and scoring first place, making your jaw drop. “What the hell? How?”
“What can I say? You’re dating a winner, baby,” he grinned and you rolled your eyes, shaking your head and taking another bite of your pizza.
“I’m dating a jackass,” you joked. “You can’t let me win just once? Come on, be nice.”
“I used to do that, and you made fun of me for it,” he pointed out. “Remember the first week we started dating?”
“You literally used to go in reverse until I caught up with you,” you replied flatly. “It was ridiculous, Peter. It’s not like you made it subtle that I happened to suck at the game or anything.”
“I just didn’t want you to feel bad,” he reassured, and you chuckled, taking a sip of your slurpee and sighing, leaning your head on his shoulder.
“So another round or are we going to move onto Smash Bros?” you raised an eyebrow.
“Up to you,” he shrugged, taking a bite of his pizza as well.
“How about we play another round of Mario Kart,” you suggested. “But whoever wins gets a prize.”
“Like what?” he crossed his arms over his chest, looking at the mischievous grin on your face, doubtful.
“I don’t know, a hoodie or something,” you perused innocently and he let out a breathy laugh.
“You’ve already stolen all of mine, so I’m not sure I’d have another one to give you quite honestly,” he admitted and you smiled, mind wandering elsewhere.
“What about…” you pouted your lips, trying to think up something good. “What about if I win, I get to do anything I want to you? And if you win, you get to do anything you want to me. All within reasonable boundaries of course.”
“Woah,” Peter’s eyes widened. “Is this the part when you tell me you actually work for Hydra and you gut me like a fish or something?”
“Pshh no that’s ridiculous,” you shook your head.
“What do you mean ‘do whatever you want to me?’ Huh?” he inquired, mischievously raising an eyebrow. “This seems oddly torture-like.”
“It’s not going to be torturing,” you stared at him, unamused. “I could never hurt you.”
“Then what could you possibly want to do to me?” he sighed, looking at you, entertained with your shenanigans, taking a sip of his cherry slushie.
“I dunno,” you shrugged, stirring your straw in your cup a couple times before casually telling him your suggestion. “Suck your dick I guess.”
He instantly spat out his slurpee, eyes widening, shocked. “E-excuse me, what?”
“I said if I win, I’d probably suck your dick I guess,” you shrugged again and he blinked at you, entire face flushed red, stuttering and stunned all at the same time. Your lips curled up in a small smile, thinking of how much you loved to see him like this, a literal blushing virgin. He was adorable, really.
“Well gosh, I uh…” he looked down at the red icee he had spat all over his t-shirt and then up at you, still at a loss for words. “You don’t really have to beat me at Mario Kart to get my permission to do that, you know.”
“Yeah, but this way makes it a lot more fun, yes?” you smirked and he swallowed awkwardly, absolutely frazzled.
“S-sure, I guess you’re right there,” he nodded slowly, still staring blankly at the slushie stains. “How do you know I’m not going to just let you win?”
“Because…” you drew out, looking at him, still smirking. “If you win, then you get to do whatever you want to me.”
He paused, turning towards you, breath hitching. “Anything?”
“Well again, no torture or killing or whatever but-” you clarified and he laughed, rolling his eyes.
“Yeah, of course, but uh…” he got lost staring at you again and you couldn’t help but wonder what he could possibly be thinking of. “Shit, I’m in.”
“Really?” you bit down on your lower lip, almost too excited for this bet.
“Definitely,” he nodded, feeling a bit more confident. “Just give me a second.” He slipped off his t-shirt and you watched intently, noting how built and lean he was. There were certain perks to dating Spider-Man, and it was moments when your boyfriend was sitting in front of you shirtless like this that you were ever most grateful for them.
“Well shit, Parker,” you laughed to yourself and he stared at you, confused.
“What? My shirt had slushie all over it,” he insisted and you looked at him, narrowing your eyes.
“Uh huh…”
“No for real!”
“Totally not trying to tease me or anything over here.”
“Oh whatever! Just start the game.”
“Give me a second,” you insisted, reaching down and deciding to take it one step further, slipping off your own sweatshirt and revealing your bra underneath, looking at him, anticipating his reaction. Seeing him like this, you wanted to take a picture and capture it forever. He looked breathless, staring at you, his eyes dark and fixated, his lips parted, mesmerized. You couldn’t help but smile. “See something you like, Spidey?”
“Yeah,” his eyes flickered up to yours, still blushing. “You.”
Grinning, you leaned over to kiss him, then pulled away, picking up your Wii remote and selecting your favorite racetrack. “Good luck,” you winked.
“Good luck yourself,” he laughed. “Seeing as the only time you ever beat me in Mario Kart is when my controller dies, I think you’re the one who’s going to need it.”
“Fine, to hell with luck,” you rolled your eyes as the countdown started. “Maximum effort.”
Both of you pressed down hard, zooming through the track, eyes fixated on the screen, cursing and screaming and hooting and hollering as you gained power ups and got knocked off the road by each other. By far, the most intense game of Mario Kart you’ve ever played in your life. Each round you seemed to egg each other on more and more, and although you clearly knew how this was going to end, you couldn’t help but at least try your very best. First place trophy spinning on the screen, Peter’s tongue ran over his lower lip, glancing over at you as nervousness flowered in your chest. What did he have in mind?
“I don’t think either of us saw that coming,” he stated sarcastically and you looked at him incredulously.
“Alright then Peter Parker,” you hummed lightheartedly, shutting off the television and setting your controller down, sighing as you leaned back and rest your weight upon your backwards palms. “What do you have planned for me?”
“Well…” he looked at you shyly, almost hesitant, and you began to grow even more curious. “I know you said ‘anything I wanted’ or whatever, but I want to make this enjoyable for you too, and that sure you’re okay with everything I’m doing.”
“By all means, don’t stop for me,” you insisted, small smile tugging on the edge of your lips. “If you say or do anything I don’t like, I’ll speak up. Don’t worry.” He hummed softly in acknowledgment, nodding as he looked towards the floor, still nervous, then cleared his throat.
“I think seeing as your intentions were to seduce me, I guess I have no choice but to go along with the theme,” he rolled his eyes playfully, slowly gaining confidence and crawling closer to you, making your heart beat twice as fast. He kissed you on the lips, soft and sweet and slow, and then pulled away, lowering his face so that his mouth was barely brushing up against your ear, his voice lowering to a whisper. The entire mood of the room shifted, into something more serious. “So, I think you should lay on the bed for me.”
“Whatever you say,” you smiled sweetly, trying to hide your nervousness and doing as told, getting up and making your way to his bed, laying down on your back, watching as he stood at the end, looking you up and down, licking his lips. You could tell something inside of him changed. He didn’t seem so timid anymore, afraid to suggest something or speak up. His shoulders rolled back, his feet planted solid in the ground, his entire stance exuding confidence. It was different, dominant and alluring, and you couldn’t help but be captivated by it. He was entrancing like this, dark eyes gazing over your body, shirtless, hands dipping down into the waistband of his jeans, brows furrowed, pondering what to do with you.
“Hands up. Against the bedframe,” he ordered, and you looked at him, trying to analyze what he had in mind as you tentatively did as instructed, positioning your arms above you, against the wooden frame. In what seemed like an instant, he suddenly flicked his wrists outward, webs springing from his fingers and you gasped as the sticky substance pinned your hands above you, a mess of webs fixating them to the wooden plank. You eyes widened and then narrowed.
“Didn’t know Spidey was into bondage,” you bit down on your lower lip, aroused by his dominance and playfulness all the same.
“Didn’t know you could be so naughty,” he quipped back and you blushed, trying to look away, shy.
“Nuh uh, none of that,” he argued with a chuckle, crawling on top of you and raising your face to look at him with one of his hands, making your eyes meet. “If I do recall correctly, you were offering to suck me off a moment earlier. Seemed pretty eager too.”
“Still am if that’s what you fancy, Peter,” you suggested, eyes twinkling with a glint of naughtiness, but he just shook his head, smiling.
“I think I have other plans for you tonight,” he insisted, kissing you again this time, but rougher, his tongue sliding in between your lips and up against your own, then retreating to have his teeth catch your lower lip, dragging it between them before he pulled away, devilish smirk on his face.
“Mind filling me in on the agenda?” you asked with a breathy voice, fluttering your eyelids and parting your lips, bucking your hips up to meet his.
“It involves your pants off, and my head between your legs, and you moaning my name,” his eyes flickered up to meet yours. “And then me fucking you into this bed until those moans turn into screams.”
“Holy fuck,” you whispered, eyes glazed over, staring at him, practically speechless.
“Sound good to you, sweetheart?” he hummed, fingers tracing over your stomach, playing with the hem of your waistband.
“Shit…” you laughed to yourself quietly, eyes still fixated on him, feeling unbelievably flustered. “I think I ought to up the ante on Mario Kart wins a whole lot more from now on.”

Pieces of us [H.O]
A/n: Happy Valentine’s Day! I was determined to finish a fic for today and even though it’s super late I did it!! This idea was given to me by the lovely @glowunderthemoon about a year ago now and I finally got around to writing it. Thank you for the idea Fay and I really hope you and everyone else likes it!
Warnings: tooth-rotting fluff, unedited writing
WC: 2.4k
Your heart was drumming in anticipation, fingers tapping on your leg as you waited for your phone to buzz. You gave another look in the mirror and tried to occupy yourself even though you had been ready for the past 15 minutes. Your dress was perfect, hair styled to match and makeup complimenting everything nicely.
A few years ago when you were single you might’ve hated Valentine’s day but your boyfriend always made you feel the most special on his favourite holiday. He always spoilt you with flowers and cheesy gifts. Suddenly the day didn’t seem that bad anymore.
Unfortunately, you had to work this Valentine’s day which meant missing out on most of the day with Harrison. He still made you breakfast in bed and sent you cheesy texts but you were sad you couldn’t spend the day cuddled up and watching sappy movies with him. It saddened you even more when you came home and to an empty apartment but the moment you saw the cute note and the chocolates, you knew Harrison had something up his sleeve. You had smiled as soon as you saw the dress laid out on the bed, knowing it was your boyfriend's favourite. The little note attached told you to get ready for a date so you did but you hadn’t expected Haz to make you wait so long.
Just as you were straightening down your dress for the fifth time, your phone buzzed on the table. You rushed to look at it, smiling as you saw a text from Harrison but your expression soon fell into confusion as you read it.
My darling, tonight is no ordinary date. It’s been a whole year of us and it’s been the best year of my life. Start by looking at the place where I first said those three little words.
You furrowed your brow and gave a small laugh, knowing your boyfriend was up to something. You thought back to when he had first told you he loved you and knew to look around the couch.
It had been one of your classic movie nights; popcorn, drinks and a movie that you never paid much attention to. His lips were on yours, his arms around your waist as he held you in his arms before he whispered those three little words against your lips. He almost apologised, thinking it was too soon before you shut him up with a kiss and repeated those words back to him.
You smiled at the memory before finding a photograph on the cushion. It was one of the first you and Harrison had taken together, smiling cheekily into the camera with his hand wrapped around you. You remembered thinking about how cocky (and cute) he was that night when you went on a night out with him and your mutual friends. He was even cuter drunk.
The photo made your heart race faster but did nothing to ease your confusion.
On the back of the photo there was writing, scrawled out in Haz’s messy writing it read: Being with you is the easiest thing in the world and nothing, no one makes me happier. So for your second clue, remember when I stepped on your shoe.
You laughed out loud and paused in confusion, trying to figure out his riddle before realising there was something else written at the very bottom in small print. The title of yours and Haz’s song. The one that always made you smile when you heard it because it made you think of him. And then suddenly it clicked.
You remembered how it had become your song. It was midnight and you felt exhausted as you looked around at the messy kitchen, boxes and bags were everywhere. Haz carried in the last box and set it on the floor before leaning against the counter next to you.
There wasn’t much in your new kitchen besides what was already there and an old portable radio. Haz turned it on to a random station and Just the way you are by Bruno Mars started playing. He smiled and took your hand, pulling you into the only clear space in the room and starting to dance with you.
Suddenly you didn’t care how tired you were or what time it was, all that mattered was Haz and this new life you were starting together. He twirled you around making you both burst into laughter as he accidentally stood on your toes. It was one of the best nights ever.
You hurried to the kitchen and looked around, noticing a single rose on the countertop next to a picture of you and Harrison kissing on a beach. You smiled wide as you remembered the day, it was your first weekend away together and Harrison had whisked you away to a tropical sandy beach, staying in a cosy beach house. You didn’t get much done that weekend but it was still one of the best of your life.
You looked at the photo before turning it over and reading Haz’s writing: The views that weekend were nothing compared to the view I had in the bedroom ;) It was the best vacation and now for the third location. Outside is where you should go, specifically where I first kissed you slow.
Your first kiss, of course. You let out a giggle and took the rose, smelling it’s sweet scent before grabbing a coat and heading outside, following your instructions. Harrison had first kissed you on your first date, you still remember feeling his lips against yours for the first time, a feeling you would never tire of.
You arrived at the arcade and looked around, so many memories flooding back to you. It had been too long since you’d come back here. The place was fairly empty apart from a few couples playing games together and a group of friends cheering loudly as someone got a high score on the dance dance revolution game. Haz had fallen over twice on that game but his true skill was air hockey and he got so competitive when you both played that night.
He’d even won you a teddy bear with his tickets from the games and that’s when he’d took his chance to make his move and kissed you. It had caught you by surprise but you were soon locking lips with him and holding him close in the middle of the arcade, without a care in the world.
You found a bear similar to the one you still kept at home sitting on the air hockey table and your heart melted that Haz had remembered. It held a heart saying ‘being mine’ with a photo attached to it. The photo this time showed you and Harrison kissing when you were both drunk, a memory one of your friends had captured. You giggled and flipped it over to read the clue.
For your fourth and final clue, look for where we first met as two.
A smile lifted on your lips as you remembered in an instant the location you needed to go to. You tucked the photo in the pocket of your jacket along with the others and thought about the time you had been with Haz and of the photos that signified your relationship. Of course there were many more than just the ones in your pocket but Haz had picked these ones for a reason.
You drove to the park nearby where you had first met your boyfriend. It was a late autumn afternoon, the leaves crunching underneath your feet as your dog led the charge and sniffed at the beautiful scent of nature that surrounded them. You were wrapped up in the same coat you were wearing now with a hot drink from your favourite cafe that spread warmth to your hands. You furrowed your brow as your dog started barking and pulled you along at a faster pace to go and sniff another dog who was barking back at them.
The dog was beautiful and once they met in the middle, having dragged both owners along, they started to nuzzle into each other and lick. You giggled and sipped your drink before looking up at the owner hoping to share the humor and make a witty joke about puppy love but instead you almost choked. The owner of the beautiful dog was even more astounding. He had sandy blonde curls and blue eyes that caught you off guard as they matched the sky above.
“Talk about puppy love huh?” He commented, a cup similar to yours in his hands as he smiled at you and for a moment you forgot what air was.
“Hey that was my joke.” You giggled as he laughed and apologised. The conversation after that continued to flow easily and whilst normally you hated meeting strangers, you had to admit that handsome tall blonde guy wasn’t so bad. Even after you learnt his name and swapped numbers, that was still his contact name which he never missed an opportunity to tease you about. You met up after that under the excuse of more puppy play dates before the dogs weren’t the only ones going out on dates and the rest, as they say, is history.
You pulled up to the park with a fond smile and got out of your car, turning off the radio which had just been playing your song. The short walk from the car to the park wasn’t enough to prepare yourself for what you saw. A soft gasp emitted from your lips as you spotted the gazebo in the middle of the park lit up with fairy lights, a picnic blanket and food laid out for two. A violinist was playing next to it with a familiar tune that you had just heard on the radio; your song.
And then you spotted him, standing in the middle of the gazebo in a suit and tie with a large bouquet of roses and the smile that had made you fall in love with him. As you walked closer, you started to tell he was nervous with the way his hands shook slightly and whilst you didn’t know why it was still as cute as ever. You just wanted to hold his hands in yours and tell him everything was going to be okay.
He was holding a hand behind his back as he greeted you and kissed you softly. “Happy Valentine’s my love.”
You smiled and took the roses, looking at Harrison with so much love and a few tears in your eyes. “You did all of this for me?”
Harrison took your hands in his and gazed lovingly at you, “Everything is for you Y/n.”
You wrapped your arms tightly around him and sniffled, letting out a giggle as he picked you up in his arms. It wasn’t until you were here that you realised how much you had missed Harrison even in the short time you’d been apart.
“I love you. Thank you for this baby.”
“I love you too my beautiful rose.” He kissed your nose and made you giggle again before pulling away slightly. You pouted and tried to follow but he only smiled and shook his head. “I’m sure you’re wondering why I sent you to find all those pictures and clues.”
You nodded and bit your lip, trying to contain your excitement. Haz smiled wide but you could sense a bit of nervousness behind it. You knew him too well. Just as you were about to ask what was going on, he picked up a book from behind him and gave it to you.
You hummed in curiosity and looked at it. You quickly realised it was a scrapbook titled Our adventure which reminded you of one of your favourite disney movies, Up. Harrison encouraged you to open it and as you did you saw all of your favourite pictures. Some were from special moments in your lives like the ones you had collected and others were silly photos you and Haz had taken through the years.
You could feel your heart melting into a puddle as you looked through the pages. “Haz this is-” You paused and took a deep breath, at a loss for words. “This is beautiful.”
“Keep going love.” Haz encouraged, wiping a tear that fell on your cheek and admiring how beautiful you looked in that moment as you fondly remembered the memories you shared together. He was so glad you liked his final gift, he preferred homemade things and this had taken him the longest and most effort to put together.
He waited until you were right near the end before finally putting his last piece of the puzzle into action and stepping away. He pretended to go down and tie his shoelaces and waited until he heard a small gasp come from your lips as you saw the last page.
There was a polaroid of an engagement ring along with the words Will you marry me?
“Haz-?” You looked up, your face full of surprise and shock as you saw Harrison down on one knee with the engagement ring from the picture in his hand. The tears that had been threatening to fall since the hunt started finally found their way down your cheeks as you realised what was happening.
“Y/n L/n, my love, my soulmate. Will you marry me?”
Harrison’s sparkling blue eyes looked up at you with hope and nerves as he felt his whole body about to explode from the suspense. You didn’t even take a breath before nodding your head quickly, “Yes!”
You kept repeating your answer as you tackled your new fiancé with a hug and kissed him everywhere you could reach. He laughed and wrapped his arms firmly around you, never wanting to let go.
And he never did.
The scrapbook became a part of your relationship as much as your vows did on the day you got married. There were 4 pages full of wedding photos and 2 of photos from your Honeymoon to Hawaii where you recreated the beach picture from your first weekend away together.
The final piece of the puzzle however, was the sonogram photo you got from your first scan showing the newest addition to your family. A new scrapbook was made after that titled The Osterfield Family Adventure.

Request by @karmas-mistress : Heya! Could you please write something for Miles Morales where he’s out with a friend (maybe crush if you’re up for it) and they get attacked or something and the friend gets hurt to protect him? (Whether they know he’s spider man or not is up to you) can be as angsty as you want, they can die, they can live, whatever you decide 🥰 (also your work is fantastic thank you for sharing your amazing talent and tame care of yourself 👉👉)
Warnings: injury
A/n: I hope you like it! I hope I wrote Miles okay! First time and I'm a little nervous!
-----
"That was totally awesome!" you said, "I mean, kinda sucks that it ended on a cliffhanger, but.."
Miles smiled as he put his hands in his pockets, "Yeah, but at least there's something to look forward to in the sequel."
You slowed down to walk next to Miles, "Hey, speaking of hero flicks.."
Miles glanced over at you, and you looked like you were having a hard time forming the correct thought. "Yeah?"
"You think they'd ever make a Spider-Man movie? I mean, c'mon, that'd make a killer film."
Miles looked away rather quickly, feeling his palms get sweaty, "It sure would." "Just think about seeing Spidey on the big screen has me excited! He totally deserves it- I mean, the guy took down Kingpin." you rambled on and on, it almost sounded like you had a crush on the hero, "If only I had a cool super power like that. Imagine, me and Spidey- A crime fighting duo! We could have matching suits!"
Miles could feel his cheeks burn at all the compliments, he could only hope that you weren't paying attention to him. Matching suits? That would be so cool! He'd never say that out loud though. Should he? It'd just be like a compliment...Or would it be weird to say that you'd look good in a Spider-Man suit?
You looked up at the top of the buildings, "I wonder what Spidey's doing tonight." "Oh, you know," Miles shrugged a little, "Seeing a movie- Maybe. I mean, he could've... Like, been in there..With us. But like.. Not with us. Because that'd be weird."
"Imagine if we did sit next to him," you elbowed him playfully, "That'd be something to brag about."
"Sitting next to Spider-Man?"
"Yes." you replied, "Even just existing in the same city as him is brag worthy. They don't have stuff like this in, let's say, California!"
Was being Spider-Man really that big of a deal? Of course, Miles didn't see it as a big deal anymore because he's just been Spidey for long enough for it to feel normal.
The conversations went every which way, one topic to the next. And sooner or later, you two somehow landed on some party a classmate was throwing. Miles wanted to ask you to that party- Not as a date, but totally as a date- But not... Make it weird. Because that would be weird.
Now was his chance.
"You....Going with anyone?"
You seemed to mimic his earlier shrugged, eyes fixed downwards on the pavement, "Haven't decided it's I'm going at all."
"How come?"
"I dunno," you looked over at him, and then quickly looked back at the ground, "Never been to a party before."
You two turned into the park, to take a scenic shortcut.
"I have an idea." Miles said, out of the blue, "Why don't we go down to that arcade- Instead of the party?"
The thought of you and Miles having out at the arcade seemed more appealing than being cooped up with classmates you didn't even talk to.
"Sure!" You turned around to face Miles, walking backwards, "Like a date?"
"No!" Miles' face almost turned a bright red, "I mean.. Do.. You want it to be a date?"
"Hmm...." you rubbed your chin, pretending to think about it, "Let me think-" There was the snap of a twig that caught you both off guard. Normally the park was empty at this time, outside that one couple taking a late night stroll. You turned around to see where it came from, taking a few steps away from Miles. His Spidey-sense was going nuts, and he was on the verge of a panic attack. He couldn't just leave you, what if you got hurt within the second it took to change? What would he do then?
"Y/n," he said quietly, nervousness lacing his words.
He heard rustling from the tree behind him, and he turned around. He was scanning every tree in a ten foot radius. Was that a distraction? Was that the wind?
You walked around the tree that the first noise had come from. Nothing. Maybe it was a false alarm--
That's when your eyes saw a man lurking towards Miles with a knife. He must not have saw you come up to the tree. Miles was going to get hurt if you didn't act fast. Amidst your own panic, you asked yourself something you always asked yourself when your anxiety started bothering you:
What would Spider-Man do?
Without even thinking, you ran at the man, knowing full well that he was taller and heavier than you. You jumped at him, hoping to at least knock him over. "Miles!" you said as you tumbled to the ground with the man.
Miles whipped around, and within the second it took to turn around, you were already trying to wrestle the knife away from the guy.
You really hadn't thought this through, but all that mattered to you was protecting Miles. If he got hurt, you weren't sure what you'd do.
You made split second eye contact with him, and that's when everything went from bad to even worse. the rustling from the second tree was, of course, another person. They also had a small knife.
They must've just wanted to mug you too. Bold of them to assume that you had that much money.
The second man wasted no time in going after Miles, who ran behind a tree. You eyes widened in horror as you took your focus off of the man you were fighting and looked towards where Miles ran off to. You had to stop that guy-- You felt a sharp, searing pain in your side. You looked down and saw that the man had stabbed you. With zero remorse, he grabbed your face and threw you off, getting up and turning his attention to the other guy.
"Where'd the kid go?"
"He just disappeared."
Despite the blinding pain, you pushed yourself up and staggered towards the men, "You leave him alone!"
Once again, you were pushed down to the ground. You let out a loud yelp of agony. You were trying to get up, but the pain was too much. You weren't going to let that stop you. You needed to see if Miles was okay. Did he run away? Did he get help?
Everything seemed a little fuzzy, and you couldn't really hear much of anything happening off in the distance. It sounded like the bad guys were getting their butts handed to them, though.
"Spider-man?" you barely whispered, trying to focus your eyes for even a moment.
No dice.
You blinked again and soon you felt hands on your face. There was a voice, begging you to stay awake. It sounded so familiar. It couldn't be. You were just imagining things.
"Y/n? Stay with me, okay? Please."
The voice was pleading now.
"That's a lot of- No, no, it's okay..." There was a pause, "I'm going to lift you up now. Is that okay?"
You slowly turned your head towards the voice, eyes allowing you to see for just a second. It was Spider-man.
"Help my friend." you said, sounding tired.
You could make out the lenses of the suit curving into a look of sorrow. Even in your current state, you were still worried about Miles.
"He's okay." Spider-man replied, "I'm going to pick you up now-"
"I need to know that he's okay.." you were so stubborn, "Please."
Removing his hands, you saw Spidey have a momentary dilemma. What does he do? What should he do?
He took in a deep breath before grabbing the bottom of his mask and pulling it up, just enough for you to see his face.
"I'm okay."
You looked at him, eyes still hazy, "Miles? You're-"
Miles put his mask back down as he picked you up, "You can't tell anyone."
You groaned a little in pain.
"Sorry." Miles quickly apologized.
You looked back up at him. Miles was Spider-man? Miles was Spider-man..All this time-
"I never answered you."
"You can do that later."
You completely ignored him, "Yes. Like a date."
Miles wanted to be happy about your answer, but getting you help was more important.
Needless to say, a week later, when you finally got out of the hospital, Miles still wasn't over the heart attack that this whole situation gave him.
You reassured him that you were fine enough to go to the arcade with him, but he was too worried that you'd hurt yourself, so instead, you two hung out at the Morales household for a game night in.
Even if it was for his sake, Miles swore to never let you get hurt again.

akdsfjkdksj I wasn’t expecting you to churn all this content out so quick (´∀`)♡ omgosh you went above and beyond with the love language ask!! I love to see your interpretation of these characters so what do the cast consider the perfect date to be? low key vs high key? local vs out of town? -😌✨
Thank you! I’m glad you liked the love language post, sorry it took so long lol. As for their favorite dates I think I’ll do the same characters here:
Katsuki Bakugou
Rock Climbing/Hiking Dates
Canonically one of Katsuki’s favorite things to do is go rock climbing so he’d definitely want to bring a SO along every so often. If you’re an athletic person and enjoy being outdoors this will be a very fun date! If you’re not a very athletic person (as many of us aren’t) Katsuki will settle for just going for a short hike along a trail. Katsuki gets super talkative on hikes as well, as you’re walking he’ll just be talking about literally anything! From Hero work to his friends/family, to things that have been bothering him lately. Whatever is on his mind he’ll share with you while you’re both out, which is incredibly helpful as he doesn’t ever discuss his feelings at any other point in time. Plus it gives him a chance to show off how fit he is in front of you, which you both always consider a plus.
Izuku Midoriya
Movie Dates
A Classic, perhaps a little plain even, but Izuku absolutely loves to take you to the movies. He loves everything about the date, from discussing what you’re about to watch, to getting the snacks, to whispering in the back row (if you’re the type to get annoyed by talking during a movie he’ll keep this to a bare minimum). He loves being able to snuggle up next to you and hold your hand while discussing the finer points of the plot (If you’ll tolerate talking of course). Don’t think he’s being innocent here though, he definitely uses the darkness surrounding you as cover as he runs his hands up your thighs. Unbeknownst to most, Izuku is actually very much a horndog. He conceals it very well but he’s only barely capable of keeping his hands to himself when it comes to his SO. Any chance he gets to touch you he’ll take it, more than likely this is why his second favorite type of date is usually a stay-in date...
Shoto Todoroki
Dinner Dates
Another Classic, Shoto loves to treat his SO to expensive treats with his favorite being food-related dates at lavish restaurants. Not a week goes by that he doesn’t take you out on the town for the night at some place you’re sure you couldn’t even afford a glass of water at. It’s almost never the same place twice either, Shoto is actually a foodie and enjoys trying new types of cuisine whenever he can. He’s got a whole list of places he wants to take you, and if they require reservations he’s already got them locked down. If you love eating Shoto is your man, he’ll make sure you’re set with a wide variety of foods to choose from and always remembers any place you happen to be partial to.
Denki Kaminari
Amusement/Water Park Dates
Denki is a fun-loving guy through and through, he knows how to have a good time and wherever you happen to go he makes sure you do too. That being said, his absolute favorite place to take you is to an amusement or water park. It’s not often you two get to go, as you’re both very busy with your respective hero work most days, but when you do it’s a day-long affair. You’re there from the minute the park opens to the second it shuts down, riding as many rides as you can manage, eating greasy garbage food, and making sure to strike the dumbest poses for any rides that take pictures. You’ve got a whole scrapbook of these photos by now, their ridiculousness increasing with each new one added.
Eijirou Kirishima
Beach Dates
You wouldn’t expect Eijirou Kirishima to be a Thalassophile (Def. Person who loves the ocean) but he is. He adores being on the beach and it’s his preferred location for a date. You’ve spent many a sunny afternoon seaside with Eijirou, building sandcastles, chasing crabs, and just enjoying the ocean. One memorable afternoon you found yourselves right next to a sea turtles nest and you got to watch the babies pop out of the sand and scurry towards the ocean, assisted by Eijirou as he chased off the seagulls looking to make them a meal. Eijirou also enjoys surfing, and if you know how to do so he’ll get you matching boards so you can ride the waves together. If you’re not partial to surfing he’ll be sure to pull out all his tricks while you watch him, he’ll even let you onto his board with him so you two can just float together by the shore. Of course you two can’t go to the beach year round, but when you can you’re both sure to make the most of these sunny days, even if he does get an awful sunburn by the end of it.
Hitoshi Shinsou
Gaming Dates
Hitoshi isn’t what one would call ‘social’ when given the choice between going out for a night and staying home he’ll almost always choose the latter. So it’s expected that his favorite type of date is one where you two can stay inside and enjoy each others company. You both work so hard as Heros, why not spend your days off relaxing with one another? He can spend hours alone with you, preferably kicking your ass at Mario Party or some other multiplayer game. He doesn’t need anything except you, his consoles, and a pile of your favorite snacks to have a good time. That being said, if you want him to go out for a date the best way to convince him is to take him to some kind of arcade, especially if it’s a VR arcade. He feels a kind of nostalgic joy for these places and won’t hesitate to return and feel like a kid again. Plus it’s always nice to repeatedly prove to you that yes he is the champion of Dance Dance Revolution and you will never usurp this title from him.
Tamaki Amajiki
Park/Picnic Dates
As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, Tamaki loves spending time outdoors; surrounded by and in awe of nature and it’s complex inner workings. He enjoys just taking time to appreciate the world around him, so dates where you can both relax outside and enjoy each other’s company are his favorite kind. He has a specific hill at his favorite park he likes to take you, bringing a lunch of all your favorite foods he sets you both up under the biggest shade tree for an afternoon. You both lay back on your worn picnic blanket and just cloudgaze, talking for hours about anything and everything. Much like Bakugou, Tamaki gets very talkative on these dates, discussing his week with you and anything new he might have learned over the course of it. He’s so very endearing on these dates its easy to fall silent and just listen to him for hours.
Mirio Togata
Crafting Dates
Mirio likes to have memorabilia from your dates, so you can expect a lot of dates to center around making things. More than just your average painting classes Mirio has also taken you to sculpting, woodworking, and glass blowing classes to name a few. At the end of your dates you both exchange what you’ve made and Mirio absolutely adores anything you craft, regardless of its quality in your eyes. He puts his heart and soul into making you something and more often than not it turns out spectacularly. Mirio wasn’t as good with the ceramics class, but you love the warped vase he made (even if it was technically supposed to be a cup at the start, we’ve all been there). Mirio’s kept everything you made him and even has a shelf in his house just dedicated to what you’ve made, it makes him so happy to come home after a hard day of work and see physical memories of his time with you.
Keigo Takami
Aquarium/Zoo Dates
Underneath Keigo’s charming and charismatically upbeat personality lies a bitter and broken man, drained by his role in Hero Society and left an empty shell of his former self. Underneath that personality lies a kid who never got to have a proper childhood and desperately wants to make up for it. He now uses his dates with you to do just that; not that you mind of course, dates with Keigo are always fun and lighthearted and you love to see him truly enjoy himself for once. Keigo’s favorite places to go are definitely large and intricately designed Zoos and Aquariums. He loves to look at the painstakingly accurate and detailed natural habitats, make fun of the stranger animal names you find, and learn new information about foreign bird species. Loves to mimic their calls too, much to the irritation of the birds and the zoo employees. He makes it a point to always get you a stuffed animal at the end of the date, ensuring that you now have a massive collection of them sitting all around your room. You’re always kept up to date on any Zoo or Aquarium events thanks to Keigo, as he has a calendar dedicated to all the unique events they have going on throughout the year.
Touya Todoroki
Crash Dates
Dabi is...well he’s unpredictable at the best of times and it’s very rare that you two have time for anything even resembling a date (being an S class villain does make it hard to exist normally in society and do normal couple things but it ees what it ees). However, when he can take you one a date --well the term “date” is generous here- it’s never a dull one. You’re not sure how he does it but when you go out you always manage to end up somewhere Dabi could never get into naturally. From sold-out concerts, to stand up shows, to parties at lavish houses belonging to people you’ve never even heard of let alone met before; dates with Dabi are always somewhere you two definitely shouldn’t be. One memorable morning he took you to a country club where you got to each fancy exclusive rich people food and play a horrible facsimile of golf before you were eventually found and chased out. It’s always fun to see how long you two can crash an even before being found out.
Tomura Shigaraki
Cemetery/Haunted Places Dates
Tomura Shigaraki is a man who enjoys his space from other people, in his opinion the only good person is a dead one (unless he’s talking about you, of course). So it’s not abnormal for your dates to be in a place far away from others. Again the term “date” is being very generous, more often than not he’ll approach you, tell you to follow him, and you’ll wind up in some abandoned building or graveyard. Normally this would be cause for concern, as this is exactly what happens in horror movies before someone gets killed, but Tomura has a soft spot for you so your safety is ensured. Tomura loves to see a place reclaimed by nature, vines growing over a run down house or worn out gravestones breaking apart into chunks of marble with barely legible words on them. He doesn’t talk much on your dates, but will often give you a random bit of insight about him; like on one date where you both walked alongside abandoned train tracks at dusk and he told you about the dog he had as a child. He seeks no pity from you, and these dates are not the conventionally romantic type, but you enjoy being able to be with Tomura in a way no one else ever has or ever will.

Hey darling, do you think you could do a DamiJon one shot with the sentence starter "Are we on a date right now?" Where Damian is very oblivious to his and Jon's feelings and doesn't understand crushes/love much to Jon's frustration?
Sorry This took so long! It doesn’t exactly match up with the last pat of the prompt, but here you go!
It was a sunny day, as was the usual for the bright and busy city of Metropolis, and Damian swore he was the only one for miles who was not enjoying the lack of cloud cover and gloomy weather. Everyone they passed by on the streets wore blinding smiles and talked with too much enthusiasm for a Monday afternoon. People waved at strangers and stopped for street performers, and in general acted as the Utopian image of city life.
Damian almost found himself missing the dark and very real streets of Gotham. Almost.
Of course, that didn’t mean he wasn’t enjoying the day so far.
At that particular moment, he was walking down a sidewalk with a certain Kryptonian boy who was laughing far too hard for someone who hadn’t been told a joke.
“The acting was unrealistic, the CGI was terrible and the props and costumes were the work of anmitures,” Damian persisted, still hung up on the awful movie they had gotten out of half an hour before. It had been the newest installment in the Sunrise series, and it was so bad Damian would have been at a loss for words if he were forced to watch just five more minutes.
He had only gone to see it in the first place because Jon had loved the first movie and he, Raven and Todd had all loved the books. If the books were anything like the movie had been, Damian would have to have a serious talk with his friends and brother about their taste in media.
“Stop laughing, I’m serious,” Damian huffed, but despite his annoyance he was fighting a smile of his own.
“It’s good bad,” Jon said through his laughter, wiping tears from his eyes and clutching his side.
“That wasn’t ‘good bad’ it was a disgrace to all of cinema!” Damian scoffed. “I knew you were tasteless, but I had no clue it was this atrocious.”
“You just aren’t getting it because you’re taking it too seriously,” Jon insisted. “If you stop looking at it as an actual romance and look at it from a comedic angle, it’s the best thing ever.”
“The protagonist was bland, her love interests behaviors were unrealistic, and the message of the story is disgusting,” Damian continued to list off the movie’s flaws.
“Damian, stop for one second,” Jon said, finally freed of his laughter. “Remember, we aren’t the intended audience. The intended audience is teenage girls. It wasn’t meant for a message, it was meant for escapism and wish fulfillment for its intended audience. When you keep that in mind, it’s an absolute masterpiece.”
“Tt, whatever you say farm boy,” Damian rolled his eyes. He checked his watch while Jon laughed a little more. “We still have three hours before we have to meet Drake and the Clone.”
“Perfect,” Jon bounced. “That means we have time to stop by the arcade, sweets shop and my favorite cafe!”
“If you insist,” Damian sighed.
“Don’t be like that, I’ve had this day planned for weeks!” Jon whined, tugging on his arm. “I even did extra chores this week so we would have enough money.
“You could have just asked me to bring my wallet,” Damian said.
“Nu-uh, there is no way I’m letting you pay for our first outing together,” Jon shook his head.
“This isn’t our first-” Damian was quickly cut off as Jon pulled him into the arcade, his super speed and strength slipping ever so slightly so that he had to rub his arm and catch his breath afterwards. By the time he regained his balance, Jon had rushed over to the coin machine and was feeding in a twenty he had earned from mowing the lawn and washing the dishes.
When he came back, he took Damian’s hand and dumped about half of the coins into it with a grin. He had been practically glowing ever since they had met up that morning, an effect that Damian could easily write off as being due to the shining sun and not his presence, as Drake had insisted. Even inside the arcade, shaded and away from the sun, the fifteen year old was still shining brighter than any of the neon lights around them.
Damian just shook his head but relented as Jon dragged him around the arcade, showing off his gaming skills and earning tickets. Damian was decent at most of the games, but was too unused to the mode of gaming compared to the consuls he played on with his family to truly be any good. He would never admit that out loud of course. It would go right to Jon’s head he was sure.
Damian had run out of coins and only had a fistful of tickets by the time Jon was down to his last two had had a plastic bag filled.
For his last game, Jon took Damian by the hand and pulled him towards an arm wrestling game that reached to the ceiling with a bell at the top. Damian had seen such a game in a cheesy movie Brown had shown him and the rest of the family. After asking his father more about the game, he was informed that, as many carnival games were, it was completely rigged and impossible to win.
“Those don’t actually work you know,” Damian said, leaning against the machine with an unimpressed raise to his brow. “Even for your strength it won't budge.”
“Want to bet?” Jon asked, his grin growing wider, a far cry from the shy and timid Jon Kent and much closer to the Superboy he knew from their late night escapades.
Damian snorted but gave a single nod. A simple dip of his chin, never breaking eye contact.
“All of the loser’s tickets to the winner?” Jon asked.
“Whatever you say,” Damian agreed.
Jon rolled up his sleeves and, gaze still on Damian, took hold of the fake hand and started the simulated arm wrestling contest.
Damian actually gave a jump when he felt something rush past him inside the machine and hit the bell at the top with an almost deafening ding ding ding!
While he stared wide eyed up at the bell, Jon cheered and collected the tickets spilling out from the machine into his plastic bag. When Damian turned back to him, still slightly in shock, Jon was holding out his hand expectantly with a self satisfied smirk.
“The machine must be broken,” Damian said as he handed them over.
“Whatever you say,” Jon teased. After taking the tickets, he took Damian’s hand again and went up to the prize counter to feed the tickets into a machine to get a receipt. He handed off said recit to a tired looking teenager, only a year or so older than Damian, bouncing on his heels.
“Could I have that bear?” he asked, pointing up to the ceiling. Damian followed his finger’s direction and found a large bear that was at least five feet tall hanging from the ceiling. It had a superman symbol on it’s chest in the shape of a heart, which was more than enough to make Damian roll his eyes. It was very much something the young Kent would waste his tickets on as a gag with his family.
The teenager behind the counter smiled through their clear as day lack of sleep and scanned both the recibt and the little sign that announced the bear’s price. He had to pull over a ladder and get a long hooked pole to unloop the bear from where it was hung up, and struggled with handing it to Jon over the counter.
As soon as the bear was in his arms, though, Jon immediately pushed it to Damian’s chest. He struggled at first, with the bear being as big as himself, but managed to get a good hold on it and look around it to furrow his brows in question.
“I won it for you,” Jon said like it was obvious. “If you need me to carry it it can.”
“I am perfectly fine carrying the monstrosity on my own,” Damian said. “You couldn’t have chosen a more impractical gift?”
“It's not an impractical gift,” Jon said. “It’s cute.”
“Can it not be both?” Damian asked, but relented in following Jon out of the arcade the fastest he could with the monstrous stuffed animal in his arms.
“Sweets shop or cafe next?” Jon said allowed, though it was clear he was asking himself.
“We only have time left for one of the two,” Damian said after checking his watch again.
“Cafe it is then!” Jon said. He guided Damian back down the Metropolis sidewalk, pointing out different stores and vendors along the way as he told stories about them. Damian only heard half of the stories, his sight too focused on Jon’s lit up and expressive face for any of his other senses to properly function.
Halfway through a story about a noodle store he liked to visit with his older brother, Jon noticed Damian’s staring. He ducked his head, his cheeks flaring bright red, and Damian couldn’t help but give the smallest of smiles at the reaction.
The rest of the walk to the cafe, Jon’s voice was back to its usual shy softness as he chatted on about the city he so clearly loved. Damian didn’t stop his staring, but did end up lost in his own thoughts about the past years’ events.
He could still very clearly remember the day when he was thirteen and his father had carefully sat him down in his study for a talk. During that talk, he was told of one of the most disturbing things yet to happen in his life, which was saying something considering his childhood.
Through dimension hopping events that Damian never bothered to understand, Jon had gone from ten years old to seventeen overnight. He was different now that he was so much older, and Damian found a hole grow in his chest from the loss of his closest friend.
The event was possibly the thing that finally cemented his bond with Drake, and they had both lost their kryptonian friends under circumstances completely out of their control. The only problem Damian saw with the bonding they had done was that Drake had gotten Conner back. Not only had he gotten him back, but the two had started dating not too long after his return, which brought Damian an odd sense of jealousy he had never been able to understand.
After a year of consideration between himself and his parents, Jon had gone to Zatanna for help in reversing his physical age. The magician had agreed, but had only been half successful in her daunting task. The next time Damian saw Jon, he was only a year younger than him, still with his ever present height advantage, now coupled with his mental age.
Damian was still ashamed when he remembered his initial reaction of slamming the door in Jon’s face. He had refused to speak to the Kryptonian for months on end, so unsure of how to feel about the entire situation he had found himself in. He had gotten his friends back, but he wasn’t sure if he was still really his friend.
He still wished that his family could have stopped being so damn unconditionally supportive for one moment and knocked some sense into him so he could have accepted Jon’s returned presence in his life earlier than he actually had.
It had been a year since the two had fully reunited, apologies coming from both ends despite Damian’s admit denial that Jon had anything to apologize for. He was big enough to admit he had been the one fully in the wrong even though everyone repeatedly told him his reaction was perfectly reasonable for a fourteen year old presented with such a stressful situation. Even at sixteen, he couldn’t understand Jon’s easy forgiveness of his behavior.
“Dami?” Jon pulled him from his thoughts gently, cheeks faded to a much softer pink, but the blush still clearly present.
“I’m okay,” Damian nodded, ignoring the clear pull in his chest. Jon had been so gentle with him the past year no matter how much they had both moved on, and it was enough to drive him crazy “You were saying?”
“We’re here,” Jon smiled, nodding to the cafe now in front of them.
Damian gave a small smile in return and followed Jon to the outdoor table he claimed to be his favorite. While Jon placed their orders at the front, Damian set the super bear up in one of the seats at the table. He pulled out his phone while he waited, finding texts from Grayson, Todd and Brown all asking him a variation of ‘how’s the date going?’
Damian responded to all the texts from his prying siblings with ‘it’s not a date’ and put his phone away again to look around at the others sitting outside of the cafe.
There were a few younger high school and older middle school students hanging around the tables and benches outside the cafe, enjoying the nice weather and food Jon had claimed to be some of the best in metropolis (“Besides that one time Conner brought me with him to a custody required dinner with Lex a few years ago. That was the best,” he remembered the teen chatting on the walk there). Damian realized Jon had probably learned about the cafe from friends he knew from school.
As he looked around, though, he noticed more and more that the other teens around him were all there in pairs. Sipping on milkshakes and coffees together while they ate a split pastry. Some were holding hands over or under the table, or kissing on benches or leaned against the cafe’s garden walls. Subconsciously he found himself beginning to go into panic, because this was clearly not a place a normal friend from school would take Jon.
He didn’t understand why he was panicking at the notion of the boy having a boyfriend or girlfriend, or having gone on dates before. He was mentally aged to nineteen, even if he was currently dwelling in the body of a fifteen year old.
Maybe it was because sitting among these couples brought out something in him that had nothing to do with Jon. At least, he was pretty sure it had nothing to do with Jon.
He had never felt threatened or out of place when at events that had many couples, his age, younger and older, all gathered and acting as couples. He knew the divorce, widowing and murder rates in Gotham meant that very few couples actually lasted for life. Even around his family he never found himself upset because he was too happy for their pairings. His father and Selina had made a great match despite his earlier doubts, Grayson and West were married with kids of their own, Todd and Harper as dysfunctional as they were still held Damian’s vote as the best fit couple in the family, and Drake and Jon’s cloned older brother were engaged to be wed in the spring.
But these couples were affecting him in such a way that he started to squeeze his stuffed bear’s paw under the table.
What’s wrong with Gotham? He thought, rerunning every statistic and horror story of love he knew from the city. The thought quickly morphed into What’s wrong with me?
It had been a long time since he asked that question, two years to be exact, and it was quickly waved away back to his first question. It had taken years of extensive therapy ordered by Alfred and plenty of love and care from his family, colleagues and friends to help him accept there wasn’t anything wrong with him. He was raised in harsh circumstances that his mother had gotten him out of and to his father the soonest she could. He had built walls and defences, and he knew now at a more mature age that they were all just for show and were unneeded now.
He looked around at the couples again and forced his heart not to harden in the presence. It was beautiful what youth and a good city could do to grow love, and he would be damned if he let a coping mechanism from his childhood make him view it as any less.
“Sorry I took so long,” Jon’s laugh caught his attention and he gave a soft smile up at his friend.
“Not at all.”
Jon took his seat across from him and sat down the tall pink and white milkshake between them as well as a napkin with two cookies on it. Just with a glance Damian could tell Jon had gotten him a dark chocolate variety, and couldn’t help but let his smile grow.
His attention on the cookies of course made him belatedly notice that the milkshake was singular and had two straws sticking up from the top.
“I wasn’t sure what flavor you wanted,” Jon admitted while Damian’s gaze whipped around them, knowing there must be a mistake. Instead of an explanation, Damian’s eyes locked onto a few couples who had a drink or milkshake set up the same way. One drink, two straws, with them drinking from them happily as they stared into each other’s eyes.
“It’s strawberry and cream,” Jon said, drawing his attention again. The teen across from him was nervously adjusting his glasses and pushing back his dark curls, looking anywhere but Damian. Damian noticed the faint blush dusting his cheeks and smiled, before his entire face went red at realization that he had just smiled at his friend blushing.
His brothers’ and Brown’s texts suddenly came back to mind, along with a few romcoms they had watched together and his own observations of his family and their significant others. The movie with a shared bucket of popcorn, the holding hands, the bear purchased and given after winning an arcade game, and now the obviously romantic cafe with a two straw milkshake and a blush.
“Are we on a date right now?” Damian blurted, eyebrow furrowed but eyes wide.
Jon’s head snapped up so quick Damian had barely seen it, compliments of super speed, his eyes equally as wide, “I thought we were, but your expression is telling a totally different story. You don’t have any kryptonite batarangs on you right now, right?”
“Why would I-” Damian shook his head, “We’re on a date no one had the decency to tell me?”
Well, technically Grayson, Todd and Brown had told him, but that wasn’t important. What was important was how shrill his voice was to his own ears, and the sympathetic glances a few couples were giving him.
“I asked Tim to ask you if you go on a date with me since my phone broke,” Jon was babbling now, hands flying around as he tried to explain. “I thought when he told Conner that you said yes you were saying yes to the date!”
A set up, Damian realized. Drake had fully intended for this mess to happen just to spite him. The man was lucky Damian now accepted he loved him, or he would never live to see his spring wedding.
“I need a second,” Damian said, resting his head in his hands. His face felt hot under his fingers, and he feared to imagine just how red it had become. A lifetime of training was all falling apart all because he had spent an entire date with a cute boy completely in the dark to the fact that it was a date.
Wait. Cute boy?
Did he think Jon was cute? Jon was cute, he had always known that, but did he really think he was cute in the way that Drake found the clone cute?
He had been jealous when Tim got the clone back but he lost Jon. That meant something, he had always known that, but he had never really looked into it. If he thought Jon was cute in that way, it explained the jealousy. The feeling of emptiness the half kryptonian boy’s absence had left him with. The reaction of honest to god fear when Jon came back in a way that was definitely socially unacceptable for him to be with.
Jon is cute. I like Jon. Jon likes me…
“Dami?” Jon said quietly, nervously. No, it was more than nerves now, he was afraid. He was afraid in the same way Damian had seen him in his older form. Rejection and heartbreak surly making the taste in his mouth bitter as apologies he didn't need to say weighed on his tongue.
“We’re on a date,” Damian finally said, peeking up from behind his finger. He said it as the statement it was and not the question from before.
“If you want to be,” Jon nodded, some of the fear falling away.
Damian took his hands away from his face but kept his eyes on the milkshake instead of Jon’s face. It was already starting to melt and turn sluggish in its tall cup.
“I want to be,” he said, a soft smile falling on his lips.
“Thank goodness, because I don’t know what I would tell Mom if I went home single,” Jon sighed in relief, then stopped. “That does mean you want to be my boyfriend, right?”
“I want to be your boyfriend,” Damian affirmed, smile growing wider. There was something fuzzy and warm and safe growing in his chest. It reminded him of Jon, as silly as it was considering Jon was the one who put it there.
“Thank goodness,” Jon repeated, letting his head fall on the table. “I think that was the most stressful thing I’ve ever done.”
“Jon, you’ve fought gods.”
“That was a hundred times easier than this was.”
“The milkshake is melting.”
Jon bounced up at that and quickly leaned forward to start gulping the sugary drink from his straw. Damian shook his head with a smaller smile and leaned forward as well.
His face lit up in heat once again when their noses brushed and Damian realized just how close there were, but he didn’t pull back. The milkshake was good, but it had nothing on the bashful and overwhelmingly happy look in Jon’s eyes. Damian was sure it was a look he could get drunk off of if he tried.
“We should probably get going,” Jon said with heavy remorse after they finished the milkshake.
“Probably,” Damian agreed, checking his watch. He wished he had the ability to make time stop, just for a second. He had just found out this was a date, and it was already ending. He would have to use the walk back to Drake and the clone to make up for that lost time.
As they walked down the sidewalk they finished their cookies and stared ahead at the near setting sun. When they were both finished, Damian took Jon’s hand and intertwined their fingers without looking towards him.
“Our next date you should take me to that sweets shop you’ve been talking about,” Damian said with a smile teasing his lips. He glanced from the corner of his eye just in time to catch Jon smiling a close lipped but wide smile. Domain was sure he would never get over how shy Jon could get in his civilian persona.
“I will,” Jon promised.
They reached the fountain they were meeting their brothers much too soon for Damian’s liking. Drake and clone spoted them right away, surly partially due to the oversized stuffed bear Damian was hulling along, and smiled upon spotting their intertwined fingers.
“I see the date went well,” Drake said with a devilish grin.
“No thanks to you,” Damian glared.
“He was just having a little fun,” the older Kent boy waved off Damian’s anger. “You figured it out before it ended at least.”
“Barely,” Damian rolled his eyes.
“But we still had fun,” Jon interjected. “Thank you for bringing Damian with you. It was a good first date.”
“First date as in there will be more,” the clone’s grin matched his fiance’s as he looked between them. “Jon you sly dog, did you get yourself a bat boyfriend?”
“Oh my God,” Jon mumbled, face going red in a new way for that day that was more familiar to Damian as his My Family is Embarrassing me Please Send Help face, as titled by his brother.
“He did,” Damian spoke up for him with a slightly puffed chest.
“I did,” Jon repeated with a smile down at Damian.
“Well, it’s time for me to get your little bat back to Gotham,” Tim interjected.
“Who are you calling little?” Damian raised an eyebrow. He was as tall as Drake and still growing. If it weren’t for Cain, Drake would have been the shortest of the bats.
“Can you please let me live in a fantasy where my little brother is still little for five minutes?” Drake pleaded with him.
Damian rolled his eyes again as Drake kissed his fiance goodbye.
Together they started to walk away from the Kent brothers and back to Drake’s car. Drake allowed the kick that came to his shins as they walked off and even smiled. When they got to the car, Damian had made up his mind.
“Hold this,” Damian said, passing the bear off to Drake as quickly as he could with a stuffed animal of it;s size. “If you drop Jon Jr. I won't hesitate to stick a blade in your shin.”
“Got it, no dropping,” Drake grinned at him over the bear. “Go get him.”
Damian nodded and ran back in the direction they had come from until he reached the fountain and spotted the Kent brothers walking in the other direction. He had to rush to keep up with even just their walking speed, reminding him of how much Jon had to control himself and slow down the entire day. Luckily his own speed, as human as it was, was enough to reach them before they got to the clone’s car.
Without a word, Damian grabbed Jon’s arm as he turned to face him, and pushed up onto his tiptoes to lock their lips together. Jon froze under his hand before melting into the kiss and sliding his hand into Damian’s hair and his other arm around his waist for support.
Damian pulled back with Jon chasing after his lips with his eyes closed. He smiled at the sight and pecked Jon’s lips one more time before parting fully and starting his run back in the direction of his brother’s car.
“You’ll call me, right?” he heard Jon yell behind him.
Damian turned on his heel to look back, “Get your phone fixed and I will.”
Then he kept running, a wide grin on his face.
Maybe sunny days in Metropolis weren't so bad after all.

Blind Date
Stiles Stilinski x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1365 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Allison setting you up on a blind date with Stiles. She goes with Scott and Lydia goes with Jackson
——————————————————————————————————
The move to Beacon Hills was supposed to be easy.
Allison was your best friend in the entire world and when they’d gotten relocated, you went with them. Chris and Victoria had taken you in when your father got killed in an accident and that meant where they went, you went.
It was supposed to be simple.
However, the move wasn’t all about werewolves and hunters and all of that. The most difficult part was, as it would turn out, high school.
The transition was easy for Allison.
She was sweet, and beautiful, and smart but you’d always had more trouble in that department. Aside from her, you never really made friends super easily.
Though, the Argent had made it very clear that she was determined to include you in her newfound friendships, including the one with popular girl; Lydia Martin.
She was the queen of Beacon Hills high school and she had latched onto Allison. They got along really well and Allison just wanted you to be able to be a part of it.
Maybe that was why she invited you to hang out after the big lacrosse game on Friday.
Last you’d heard, it was supposed to be a double date between her and Scott, this guy from her English class, and Lydia and Jackson but she assured you that it wouldn’t be a big deal if you tagged along.
...Crazier things had happened.
Besides, you weren’t going to pass up a super fun night of bowling just because you didn’t have a date.
“Ally, are you sure I need to wear this? It’s not like I have anyone to impress” you groaned, looking at the outfit she’d pulled out for you. It looked like it was straight out of her closet, and something you would never pick out for yourself.
...She actually went shopping for you.
For whatever reason, she was determined to get you all dressed up and you had no idea why. You had never been a skirt and cardigan girl like she was, and preferred jeans and a t-shirt over everything...and she knew that.
“Just trust me, you’ll look amazing,” she assured, holding the whole ensemble up by the hanger, as if to prove her point further. She knew that you would kill in something like this, but she didn’t want to tell you why just yet.
Allison knew that if she told you about setting you up with Stiles, you would freak yourself out too much.
You always got so nervous.
“If you’re sure” you huffed, taking the whole set from her with a defeated sigh. If she had actually bought this for you, it was clearly important that you made an effort tonight.
Maybe she just wanted you to make a good impression.
The entire outfit she’d put together was really cute, albeit too much effort for you to wear everyday...not that you were going to tell her the truth. Instead, you entered her bedroom with a forced grin on your face.
“Here it is” you grumbled, doing a goofy little spin in the doorway. On cue, you heard her clapping from her bed, where she was perched and brushing through her hair.
She looked incredible, as always, and right now, so did you.
Not that Allison was surprised.
“Absolutely beautiful, now grab your bag, we’re going to be late” she instructed, reaching for her own and heading toward the stairs. You had all planned to meet at the bowling alley, and you didn’t want to be the last ones there.
Besides, Scott should have been here soon to pick you both up sooner rather than later.
~
The bowling alley was relatively empty with the curfew, but you didn’t mind. You didn’t really get to do the normal teenage girl thing and you were going to live it up while you could.
You both were.
However, when you two got there, Jackson and Lydia were already sitting there in your lane...and they weren’t alone. Sitting across from them, as far away as humanly possible, was a second guy.
You’d seen him at school, hanging out with Scott, but you weren’t familiar with him. You couldn’t even recall what his name was but when you looked at Allison, you knew something was up.
She had that look on her face that always told you when something was up.
“What did you do?” you sighed, your hand falling on your hip as you looked at your best friend in the world. As soon as the words left your lips, she bit her lip, telling you everything you needed to know.
That was Allison’s tick, telling you when she was guilty of something. Whatever was going on, she was involved.
...You were sure of it.
“I asked Scott to bring Stiles along, I thought you two could hang out” she grinned, clearly proud of herself for keeping the secret for this long. Usually, she couldn’t keep things from you, not like this.
She would get so excited, that she would just blurt out whatever it was without meaning too.
...But not today, because getting you here was just too important to risk.
You deserved to have a good time with someone other than her, and Allison didn’t want you to feel like a really awkward fifth wheel this whole time.
It just didn’t seem like something anyone would enjoy.
Besides, Stiles was a really cool guy and when she’d brought up the idea to Scott, he thought it was awesome. After all, Stiles didn’t get much of a shot at date night anymore.
Socializing in general wasn’t his strong suit but if there was ever going to be someone he would hit it off with, it would be you. Based off of everything Allison had told him about you, you would be awesome together.
You would just have to get comfortable together first.
“Look, he’s a nice guy” she prompted, bumping you slightly in the shoulder, knowing that you had no problem with what she had done. In truth, you actually were glad for the company but you just weren’t sure it would work out.
After all, you didn’t exactly have an easy time when it came to guys. They either didn’t want anything to do with you, or they only wanted to go out with you to try to get Ally’s number.
It was frustrating.
...But, rather than complain about it, you took a deep breath and sat down beside him on one of those plastic chairs.
“Hi” Stiles smiled, obviously just as uncomfortable with this as you were, though, you had to admit that it kinda helped to know that you weren’t the only one feeling that way.
It made you feel less alone, for sure.
“Hey, I’m Y/N” you hummed, doing your very best to keep your cool. You should have known that something like this was going to happen when Allison handed you the shopping bag.
However, as the night progressed, you found yourself getting more and more comfortable with the stranger to your left. In fact, before long, you were actually having a good time.
“You okay? You look bored” Stiles commented eventually, taking note of the fact that you didn’t seem all that into bowling...and he had a point.
You had never been much of a bowler in the first place, but you didn’t want him to feel like you were bored of him. That just wasn’t the case, and you both knew it deep down.
“No, I’m not bored, I just don’t really bowl” you shrugged, feeling bad for making him even question it. However, what you didn’t realize was that Stiles didn’t take any offense to your words.
In fact, he knew exactly where you were coming from, and he had an idea.
“How do you feel about arcades?”
The question was only a slight suggestion from the boy but as soon as you met his eyes, you could see the amusement hidden there. Clearly, he was a huge fan and you would do anything to get away from the lanes and Lydia pretending not to know what’s going on.
...It was getting old.
“I love them”

☽✧ ✦ ✧☾
Yashiro fell to her knees, tears falling. “Why...?” You immediately opened the door, not caring about the loud noise it made. Yashiro slightly jumped but continued crying. You ran beside her, hugging her. “It’s fine, Nene-san....”
“B-but... He’s... Gone..” She whimpered. You circled your thumb on her back over and over while she is crying. You both stayed like that for a few hours. Finally, her crying had stopped. “Thank you, Y/n..” You smiled and nodded.
You stood up and extended your hand for her to grab. “Come on, it’s getting late. I’ll walk you home.” You softly said. She nodded after a few seconds and held your hand and stood up.
You walked out of the school with Yashiro holding your hand. You slightly blushed at this but you need to cheer her up! You were also saddened that there were no supernaturals and Hanako left in the school, meaning there is no more adventures.
Once both of you were in front of Yashiro’s apartment, she gave you her keys. You opened the door and turned on the lights. You gestured for her to enter first. She gave you a small sad smile then went inside. It was empty. So her mother must be somewhere busy with her work.
“Stay here, I’ll go change..” She was going to walk into her room but stopped. “Are you staying for the night?” She asked, her voice was desperate for you to stay for the night. You played at the hem of your uniform. “Can I?” You looked at the tv screen, not wanting to have eye contact.
“It’s fine, I’ll go grab the clothes you could borrow for the night.” She walked in the room and closed the door. You thought she might be finding some comfortable clothes for you. You sat on the couch and stared at the black screen of the television with dull eyes. You never saw Yashiro that sad before. You were slightly jealous and that you thought Yashiro had a crush with Hanako. They were surprisingly close. Of course they are.
Your thoughts were interrupted by Yashiro calling your name.
“-/n? Y/n? You there? I got the clothes.” You nodded then took the clothes. She left to the bathroom, leaving you all to yourself temporarily.
Your clothes were surprisingly comfy and it fits you perfectly! (Don’t ask)
The clothes had long pants and a plain shirt with long sleeves. Despite the color difference, it still matches you.
You sat on the couch once again. Wanting to watch f/s, you asked Yashiro for permission. You heard a muffled ‘Sure!’ so you turned the tv on to the show.
A few minutes had passed and Yashiro was finally finished with her pajamas on. You glanced at her then smiled to yourself. She sat next to you and watched the television with you.
“This is my favorite too.” She smiled. “Glad to know.”
“Oh yeah, I heard there's a new comedy show live right now! Want to watch it with me?” She nodded at your offer. You switched the channel to the comedy show.
Both of you laughed. Their jokes were funny, if not, just think it is.
☽✧ ✦ ✧☾
You woke up with Yashiro’s arms wrapped around your waist while her head is laying on your chest. Your face began to dust red when you finally fully noticed that she was cuddling you. You immediately froze, panicking inside.
“Hmmm.....” She shifted a bit. Her arms still in place. “N-nene.. Please.. wake up...!” To your luck, she finally did. Once she noticed the position she was in, she moved away. “Gyah! I’m so sorry Y/n!”
“I-it’s fine.” Both of you blushed. “I’m going to change- bye!” Then she dashed to the bedroom.
☽✧ ✦ ✧☾
You kept comforting Yashiro about what had happened, coming to the school hit her with the memories she made with Aoi and Hanako.
Yashiro tried her best on summoning Hanako but failed. Again and again.
☽✧ ✦ ✧☾
One day, you were with Akane and Teru going to Yashiro’s house. Teru rang the doorbell as the three of you waited. The door opened revealing Yashiro still messy. ‘She haven’t changed yet..’ You thought.
“Eh?”
“Hey. Good morning, Yashiro-san.” Teru greeted. “Good morning Nene!” You exclaimed.
“Sorry for coming uninvited so suddenly- Are you free today?” Teru asked. “I.. I didn’t have any plans in particular...” Yashiro answered. “I see! That’s good~”
“Then, Would you like to go on a date with me today?” You pouted directly at Teru, you wanted to say that! Akane just wore a boring expression, rolling his eyes.
☽✧ ✦ ✧☾
“Yashiro-san! L/n-san! Aoi! Get over here~” Teru looked excited over a... Arcade? Teru ran towards a candy machine(? what was those called?) “Look at this, It’s a tower of candy!” He exclaimed. Teru went to another machine. “It’s the thing with the salmon!” He looked to his side then saw the claw machine. His eyes lid up. “This is my first time seeing a crane game in real life!”
‘Why an arcade?’ You and Yashiro asked to yourselves. As you, Akane and Yashiro watched him.
☽✧ ✦ ✧☾
Teru played for a while in the crane machine. While, Yashiro and Akane talked about Aoi and Hanako. You listened and watched them. You frowned until Teru came with a big plushie.
He thrown you three the extra plushies he got. “Crane games are surprisingly fun! Look, what a big catch!” He exclaimed. “No wait-”
“But I don’t want this many.” Teru smiled. “Then don’t dump it on other people!” Akane scolded.
“Let’s go karaoke next~” Teru said in a sing-song voice, Already walking. “Will you listen?!” Akane followed him as he scolded him. “Hold your own things yourself!”
Yashiro looked at the plushie she was holding. “Come on, we don’t want to be left behind right?” You nudged her. She nodded then smiled. “Sorry.”
☽✧ ✦ ✧☾
“Oh~ So this is what karaoke is like!” Teru said while sitting and looking around the room. “How do i sing with this?” He asked.
“You enter the songs you want to sing on this machine...” Akane explained. “Wow~ Ah, there’s a food menu too.”
“What do you want, L/n-san, Yashiro-san?” Teru asked, his eyes not leaving the menu.
“I’ll have some tea...”
“I’ll have f/d please.” You answered.
“So Jasmine Tea for Yashiro-san, F/d for L/n-san, A Mango float for me, And a vegetable boba crush for you, Aoi!”
“Huh?” Akane looked at him, slightly confused.
“Ah! Look, there’s sugar toast, sugar toast~. Wow... Looks like it’d rot you brain~” Teru smiled. “Sugar toast fans would get you for that.” Akane muttered. “It says it’s a super-mega-sized version~ Sounds interesting~ We’ll be having this, Aoi. It’s settled.” Akane looked at him surprised. “Oi.”
‘Nene hasn’t been saying anything... I wonder if she’s ok..’ You glanced at the said girl beside you.
Before you could ask something to Yashiro, Teru had cut you off. “Do you want something too, Yashiro-san, L/n-san? Are you both hungry?”
“No, I’m good.” Yashiro answered. “I’m good.” You answered after her. “Is that so?” He looked at both of you.
As Akane took the menu pad from Teru, you noticed Yashiro lost in thought. You unaudibly sighed. She misses them. You do too. But the goal you want to achieve first is to make her happy.
Yashiro looked down to the floor. Apparently, Teru noticed it, so he stopped for a second. “Well, since we’ve mostly finished ordering, I’m going to wash my hands.” He then softly hit Akane with the pad. He then left the room, but before he did, he told Akane: “Look after Yashiro-san while I’m out okay?”
“Wait- Come back here!” Akane chased Teru. “Wait! What do you mean “Look after”..-” You jumped as tears fell down her cheeks.
“What... What’s wrong, Nene-san?” You patted her back, attempting to comfort her. “I’m- I’m sorry. But I... Just don’t know what to do... About Aoi and Hanako-kun too...” You looked at her surprised then softly frowned. “I... I’m sorry for crying like that all of a sudden...”
“There’s no need to apologize.” You cupped her cheeks and made her look at you. “Right now, for you who’s lost your connection to supernaturals, the one holding the key for you to go to the other side is Minamoto-senpai.” Yashiro looked at you quite surprised. What do you mean? You looked at the floor.
You were tired on seeing Yashiro sad and gloomy everyday. So today, your going to help her (and Akane, if you have a chance) to get Hanako and Aoi back.
“I’m sure he knows something, we just have to get it out of him somehow.” You paused. “Nene-san, Will you cooperate with me?” You looked at her for her answer.
The tears finally slowed down. “... Cooperate...?” She asked. “That’s right. Our goals are slightly similar overall. Aren’t they?”
“To get Aoi-san and Hanako back, and Make you happy..” You murmured the last words.
“To be honest, you’ve been too soft on Hanako until now.. So I couldn’t properly get along with you.” The statement was right, ever since Hanako and Yashiro was close, you barely hung out with Yashiro. But if you join them in their adventures, Hanako and Yashiro would be close to each other.
“But now, Nene-san... I think we could do this together.” Then a pause. “Also with Akane’s help.” You added.
“Is there... Anything I can do?” She asked. “Who knows.... But Nene-san, Even you would be angry if things just ended like this, right?”
“Y/n-”
“Sorry for the wait!” You both jumped as the waiter went inside the karaoke room. “As you ordered, Jasmine Tea, F/d, Mango float, and Vegetable boba~” As the waiter said the names of the drinks, he placed it down on the empty space on the table. “And a Sugar Toast Fire Mountain Special Flash!! Enjoy~!” Then the waiter left.
You and Yashiro looked at the ordered food. “This is what Minamoto-senpai ordered... What’re we gonna do with something this big...? I’m bad at handling this much sweet.”
Yashiro took a fork and began chomping the food Teru ordered. You were surprised as she took a bite on the food. “Woah!” The word slipped past your tongue.
She didn’t stop eating, which made you concerned. “Hey... Aren’t you wolfing that a bit too eagerly? Binge eating? You might choke.”
“I’ll do it.” “Huh?”
“I’ll... Cooperate with you! Because I... Even I...!” She sniffed, she continued crying.
“You eat some too Y/n-san!” You took a fork and took a bite. “Then, here’s to working together Nene-san.”
Then the door opened revealing Teru and Akane. “Woah- I come back and now Yashiro-san’s become a hamster.”
“Mmph...!”
You looked at the Yashiro, who had her cheeks puffed out because of the food.
“Isn’t that on you for making an outrageous order?” Akane asked boredly.
“Are you okay, Yashiro-san? Feeling better?” Teru leaned in on the table. “Yes...” Yashiro nodded. “I see. I’m glad you seem to be in better spirits.”
You listened as you took a sip at your drink. But you slightly giggled at how Akane looked like as he took a sip of his drink.
“Then, here.” Teru gave Yashiro a Tambourine. “Are you free for the Evening too, L/n, Yashiro-san? Tonight? More or less... There’s something you both wanna talk to me about, right? Let’s go to my place.” Teru offered.
