Ya I know he has more success than anyone but its also what made him famous and he used to be close with the cast, Tyler especially so it makes me kinda sad. Like I think they lived together and played in a band. I hope they're still close..I remember when everyone was mad Tyler didn't say anything about Dylan's maze runner injury. Obviously they've grown up now too and possibly changed cuz that kinda stuff just happens. They're also like over 30 so I get why he wouldn't wanna do it and kinda why the revival doesn't even make sense to me. It's funny cuz my sister always liked Dylan and I liked Tyler..I remember watching Dylan's old high school YouTube videos a lot. I even had to remind her that we knew he used to play drums from that time when Taylor said he played drums on Snow at the Beach. I somehow remembered that but she didn't, which was funny. But anyway..you weren't missing much after that..I basically only watched for Stydia lol. Also Stiles humor brought a lot to the show and the trailer for the new one was like pretty dark so I'm not that interested either.
yeah it used to be so fun seeing their friendship, I hope there's no bad blood there 🥲 I agree stiles brought a lot of comic relief to the show and was just such an important part so I think the revival is just going to feel very different and just isn't really necessary unless they bring back the full original cast - I'm curious to watch it but also don't hold out much hope!

I watched it and it was almost a waste of my fuckin Paramount+ subscription. I hated it so much. It was so...unnecessary. it was just season 3 but in reverse and with bad writing and arguably even worse effects. Only redeemable thing about it was Eli, and even that's debatable BECAUSE WHERE DID HE COME FROM? WHO WAS HIS MOTHER??? WHERE DID BRAYDEN GO?? AND WHY DID DEREK--!?!? [SPOILERS]
Tumblr media
Okay...I'm fine.
I hate that movie so much XD brings out the worst in me istg. Also, Mason and Liam didn't even interact in the movie which is a fucking crime.
Idek where the War went...or where Alec went. Where tf did he go? He was there before. And now we probably won't go back in time if we get another movie or season to see wtf happened to him. Did Scott fail to protect him? Why is everyone split up? We saw them together in s6 and got no explanation for why they were apart.
Wtf happened to Scott and Malia? I despised their relationship like a wart on my foot. It was unnecessary, happened out of nowhere, and they had no chemistry or reason to be together, but there wasn't even an explanation! I suppose I won't complain since it means they're done....BUT WHY WITH PARRISH NOW? Look. I love Parrish. He's awesome. He's one of my favourite Supernaturals but come the fuck on...there is no reason for Malia to be with him. Even when Shelley Hennig and Ryan Kelley saw the fact they had to kiss, they texted each other like "Oh my god NOOOO".
I don't even like Stydia (I'm a Stalia girly through and through), but that was kind of a lame reason to break them up. It would have made more sense for it to be like "Oh we just worked better as a friendship duo. The relationship put too much strain on stuff, so we broke it off years ago." I'm still mad about how they ended Stalia, btw. He walked out of the car over a disagreement, and that constitutes a break-up??? In what world is that breaking up??? They were so cute for each other! Pretty sure they were the only couple to last a full season too, other than maybe Scott and Allison in season 2, but that's debatable since she turned on them at some point.
If Malia and Stiles can stay together after he hid the identity of her father from her and they don't talk for like a week, then they can stay together over him killing in self defence, and her siding with him over his own guilt. LIKE BRO SHE WASN'T DISAGREEING WITH YOU, SHE WAS SAYING SHE SUPPORTED YOU REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU DID! SHE KILLED HER OWN FAMILY, TRUST ME, SHE KNOWS HOW IT FEELS!
Honestly, I'm livid they neglected the creatures. They hinted at so many as well. We never saw a full Kanima, and we never saw the...Dragon thingie or whatever it was. Remember that guy Liam and Hayden met with the wings that were cut off? That guy. What even was he? There are so many things they could have done. Kelpie, Hydra, Werebear, Gorgon, Vampire, Ghosts, and Minotaurs, etc. They could have gone full Percy Jackson with that shit but they just gave us tiny sprinkles because they ran out of creative juices I suppose.
Honestly, same. I made this plot in my head, also half-baked, that could have given them another season, which introduced Dragons and entirely separate culture with several subspecies of weredragons from different cultures. I wrote a few chapters on Wattpad but I haven't touched it in over a year XD
okay so can we talk about how dirty they did theo??? not even the whole thiam thing (which totally should have happened, you can fight me on that).
but like the hellscape they sent him to?? like I know he killed people. but so did Peter. so did Chris. so did Jackson. and yeah Jackson in particular had extenuating circumstances. but you're telling me theo didn't?? like he was kidnapped, experimented on, and raised by literal sociopaths from the age of what?? 9?? he probably spent years trying to make friends with the other chimeras before they became failures and died!!
the Dread Doctors mess with people's minds and memories on MULTIPLE occasions and you expect me to believe that that little child maliciously pushed his big sister to her death?? for what?? no, I refuse. I refuse to believe that a nine year old child (in their right mind) decided to murder their older sibling. no. either the Dread Doctors fucked with him like they did Tracy or they killed Tara and made Theo believe it was him.
I also refuse to believe that that was actually Tara that dragged him to hell. no matter what the dessert fox ladies said. I firmly and immovably believe that that was Theo's own creation. that his subconscious believed that this is what he deserved for what happened to Tara. that his own guilt was literally trying to rip him apart.
I acknowledge that without the hellscape Theo would not have been the Theo that anyone would even want around. but I am thoroughly mad about the hypocrisy on everyone involved's part.
The only reason they punished Theo is because he almost beat them. Stiles HATED Theo because he outsmarted him. Malia hated Theo because he tricked her. Liam hated him because he used his own mind against. Scott hated Theo because Theo managed to rip his pack apart and actually killed him. (I will make an exception to the hypocrisy on Malia's part cuz that is actually on brand for her.)
And again he did kill people, but his eyes are still gold/yellow. he never killed an innocent. not like Peter or Chris or Jackson or other characters I am forgetting (leaving out Malia and Derek cuz Malia's was her mom's fault and Derek's was Peter's fault, technically Jackson's was not his fault but the point stands) oh like Deucalion and his alpha pack.
and if someone says that his eyes don't change color bcuz he is a chimera, maybe. just maybe. but can you name someone he killed that had not already killed someone (besides Scott and that is iffy)
i will retract any of the above points if feasible contradicting evidence is found. I am also very, very open to discussions about and additions to my argument.

@stephanieromanoff asked:
Hey! Could you write something like Natasha’s always thought she was straight but then reader joins the team and now she’s started questiong her sexuality? Fluff pls!
I wasn’t sure how exactly you wanted this to go but I did my best, hope I did your request justice lovely!! also, i noticed @thedevilwearsbeskar wrote something for a similar prompt and I’m sure theirs is better lol (haven’t read it yet so I could write this one first). gorgeous divider is by @whimsicalrogers, italics are for thoughts. Enjoy!
Word count: 1.4k
Warnings: some curse words, apart from that it’s all fluff🥰
Tumblr media
You were standing in front of all of your heroes – the Avengers. Your heart was racing, but the smile on your face didn't falter once as you introduced yourself warmly to your new team.
When you were asked to join the Avengers, your first thought was that this must be some kind of prank. No one, not even your closest friends, knew of your secret life, the powers you kept secret from everyone in your life to keep them out of harm's way. But apparently, Tony Stark is ever the know-it-all.
You were in the middle of stopping a robbery when suddenly, the big red flying suit bolted in, and you knew you were caught red-handed by the man himself.
So now here you were, standing in a briefing room in the Avengers tower, telling the other Avengers, your new teammates, how excited you were to work with them.
As you let your eyes pass each of their faces, you found nothing but warm smiles and welcoming nods. Well, except Black Widow, Natasha – her expression was utterly unreadable.
Tumblr media
Thinking about how pretty girls are is normal, right? Like, everyone does that.
That pretty much summed up Natasha's mindset throughout her life.
Being trained in the red room meant being trained to seduce men. Natasha never questioned her ability to do that. She was good at it, the bowing of the head, the sultry looks, the bite of a lip and they were pretty much done for. To Natasha, these pompous men were easy, simple. That's what made her so dangerous for them.
Girls have always been more of a puzzle, and she included herself in this. But it's never once been a puzzle she'd been requested to solve, so she didn't. Do what you're told, and you'll survive.
It doesn't mean it was a puzzle she didn't want to solve, from time to time.
Natasha trained with girls, trained by girls. And sure, every once in a while, she'd check out a girl's ass as she passed by, or caught herself staring at another girl's lips for too long, but that was just… professional interest, you know? They were all made to look appealing, to draw you in. So, it was only normal it would work on her as well, it meant they were doing their job.
When Natasha left the red room and joined the Avengers, she didn't have much time to date, or think about dating, anyone. She simply didn't think about it.
But now you were standing in front of her, and Natasha Romanoff was absolutely captivated. The way you oh-so-elegantly held yourself, the smile gracing your beautiful lips, the glint of it reaching your eyes, illuminating them. You were stunning.
After the meeting was over, Natasha needed some time to think, so she opted to leave the room after greeting you as minimally as possible, for now.
She went to do what she knows would allow her to think best – go punch the shit outta some stuff.
Entering the training room, she rolled her neck a little, getting into position, and starting to throw hard, precise punches at the punching bag, letting her mind wander where it needed to go.
She remembered one training session, a long time ago. Her opponent was a girl about her age, Valerie. Natasha was confident she could beat her, since Valerie was known to be not the best at face-to-face combat, and Natasha was great at it.
Natasha had the upper hand the entire time, just as she expected. She had Valerie pinned under her, still writhing and not giving up, but Natasha was sure it was a matter of seconds, until—
Natasha looked at her, really looked. Her tousled hair, her wide eyes, the breath escaping in short spurts between her lips. And that was just enough time to allow Valerie to get out of Natasha's grip, flip them over and win the fight, just like that.
To her friends, she said she let her win because she pitied her. To herself, she said she slipped because she got too cocky.
She wasn't so sure of either of these answers anymore.
Seeing you knocked the breath out of her, your outside beauty reflecting your warm, courageous personality, reflected from both the stories of your acts of heroism and the way you told them. You were what it took to make her start connecting some dots.
Tumblr media
Natasha was no stranger to the internet and it’s weird and wacky sides, but googling was clearly not going to solve her current problem. She spent hours browsing over the last few days, looking for a clear answer. The conclusion she arrived at – she is the only one capable of providing herself with such a thing.
She did talk to you a few times, but she didn't see you a lot, since you had your hands full getting familiar with the compound and she had her hands full with… well, trying to figure out who she wanted her hands full with.
She made her way to the kitchen to grab a snack – because if nothing makes sense, at least she has food. Making her way through the door, she froze at the sight of you and Tony, laughing and clearly in the midst of a discussion. Well, more at the sight of you, Tony was just kind of there.
"They were all so great, Tony! I was really nervous about meeting them all, but they're all so nice!" your voice rang clear in her ears. Her spy instincts kicked in, and she silently leaned next to the door on the outside, shamelessly eavesdropping.
"Nice doesn't matter," Tony answered matter-of-factly, "Who was the hottest? And there is a correct answer to this, so tread carefully."
Clearly you and Tony quickly became good friends, Natasha thought. The sound of your laughter rang through the room, making her smile without even realizing it.
"Well, I know what you want to hear, but I'm sorry, there actually is a correct answer to it, and it's definitely Natasha."
She could faintly hear Tony gasping in mock hurt, but her racing thought drowned it out. Maybe it was just a friendly compliment, she rationalized, tuning back into your conversation in time to hear you say:
"Seriously! Do the Avengers have a non-dating policy or something? Cause if we do, I am very tempted to break it," you chuckled.
Okay, so maybe not a friendly compliment… a blush crept onto Natasha's cheeks.
"We don’t, but good luck with that one, Romanoff's never gonna –"
"Never gonna what?" Natasha barged in impulsively, knowing whatever Tony was going to say about her probably wasn't going to be good.
"Never gonna let me take you out," you smirked.
"Well, it's your funeral," he told you, and picked up a donut from the counter, "I'm just gonna grab this… there you go, please don't destroy the kitchen," he said, leaving abruptly.
"So, will you let me take you out?" you asked Natasha once more once he left, a smile on your lips.
"Like, take me out with a gun? Unlikely," Natasha shrugged, "But to dinner… we'll see about that," she smiled, and your grin widened in response.
"But I should probably tell you something first…" Natasha hesitated. Normally, she would never do such a thing. But right now, she knew you were going to work together, and your dynamic needed to stay a good one. She couldn't fuck this up. "I'm not… a hundred percent sure I like girls," Natasha hurriedly said and then swallowed. "I, uh, never really thought about going out with girls before," she shrugged, "but I do know I'd love to go out with you," she smiled.
"That's okay," you said, and after thinking for a moment you added, "If you want some more time to think about it, that's really cool too. If not... I wouldn't mind figuring things out with you," you smiled.
"Thanks," Natasha smiled. "So, think we should destroy this kitchen? For good measure," she raised her eyebrow.
"Absolutely," you agreed, and before she could react you grabbed another donut off of the counter and shoved it in her face, the glazing smearing over her as she called out in surprise. She wiped the glazing from her eyes and glared at you while you burst into laughter.
"I hope you know this means war," she said, her tone threatening yet her lips still smiling, tongue darting out to lick the glazing.
"Bring it!"

part one. part two. part three.
Y/n fidget with her fingers nervously. She waited there, on the doorstep to the Shelby home. Thomas was inside with his family, and she was outside, waiting to knock. Her heart was racing. What if they didn’t like her?
Just as she was about to chicken out, about to pull away from the house and run as fast as she could back to her car, the front door swung open.
“Tommy! She’s here!”
Footsteps thundered as Thomas practically jumped the entire staircase. He paused, catching his breath and glancing at John with a smile. Y/n, now in his line of sight, was surprised with an almost sprinting Tommy then breath-taking hug. Tommy swung her around, smiling even wider at her giggles.
“Hello my love! It’s nice to see you too!”
They stopped spinning, but she remained in his arms. “I-I’m sorry, Y/n/n, it’s just- I’m so excited to introduce you to my family. They’re gonna love you! And- I missed you a lot.”
“Tommy you saw me two hours ago.”
“I know.” He set her down and kissed her roughly. “So, you ready to come inside?”
Y/n nodded and held his hand, grip getting tighter when he raced to the family room where he forced his family to sit until she arrived. Although Polly would’ve normally told him no and that he couldn’t make them do that unless it was for something absolutely important like a death, Tommy’s child-like soul was showing for the first time in a long time.
They were experiencing a version of Tommy that they hadn’t seen since before the war.
He kissed her hand and asked her to wait by the door. He opened the door slightly, trying to hide the smile creeping onto his face but failing miserably. Ada jumped up from her seat with wide eyes, “Is she here?”
“Don’t be ridiculous Ada, look at that smile. She is, and lover-boy can’t help but smile like a bloody idiot” chuckled Arthur.
“Shush! Don’t tease your brother, he’s happy and that’s what matters.” Pol turned her attention to the man of the conversation, “So, is she going to say hello?”
Thomas rolled his eyes at his brother’s comment, a slight blush on his cheeks, then poked his head out the door, mumbling to someone the other’s had no knowledge of. They exchanged glances of confusion before readjusting to more welcoming and comforting expressions as a gorgeous h/c woman walked into the room.
“Well fuck. Tom really did pick a good one.” Michael laughed to himself.
“Family, this is Y/n, the woman who helped me in the war...the woman I fell in love with. Y/n, this is my family.” She waved nervously. “You’ve met John and Arthur. That’s Finn, Ada, my aunt Polly, and my cousin Michael.”
“It’s a pleasure to finally meet all of you.”
“And it’s a pleasure to have finally met you. Tommy never shuts his trap when it comes to you. You have no idea how grateful we are about the whole saving Tommy thing, even if you were just doing your job.” Pol admitted.
“Now that Y/n’s here, can we eat now Tommy?” Finn finally entered the conversation, his question causing Y/n to look over to Tommy with a look that wordlessly questioned something along the lines of, ‘you didn’t let them eat?’
He looked back, raising his eyebrows to reference his point. He was waiting until she arrived. The family watched them as they communicated with their actions until Finn repeated Tommy’s name. “Ah yes, dinner! Uhm, Pol, can you show Y/n to the dining room?”
“Of course. Come dear,” she stood up, holding out her arm, beckoning Y/n to join her. “it’s alright, I don’t bite” she winked.
Tommy joined them with a bottle of Y/n’s favorite alcohol. Y/n thought back to the time Tommy flooded her with questions, drawling out excuses when asked, and now here was the answer to the preferred alcohol choice question.
“So, Y/n, what do you for a living? Still in the nurse industry?” Pol tried her go at small talk, smiling kindly at the woman sat next to Tommy.
“Not really, I was hoping there was a spot open in the...ya know, Peaky business-” she was cut off by Arthur choking on his asparagus. “but then again nurse stuff could help. I mean, you could use some help if someone were to get injured in a gun fight or something, right?”
Arthur recovered from his asparagus accident and squinted his eyes at Y/n. “Woah woah woah, wait a fucking minute, let me get this straight. You know about the...well not so legal side to our work?” She nodded. “Tommy told you?” She nodded again. “And you’re fine with it?” She nodded once more.
A pregnant pause filled the room. Awkward tension grew heavier.
“When do you think you’ll pop a baby in her?”
Y/n’s eyes bulged out of her head, Arthur broke from his cautious state into laughter, Tommy’s cheeks turned red from blush and his attempt of not breaking like his older brother. Ada gasped as her mouth dropped open, Finn snickered with his oldest brother, Michael looked away and snorted but mumbled an apology when his mother glared at him.
“John!”
“What? It’s just a qu- ow!” She flicked his ear and sat back in her seat.
“My apologies, Y/n. You’ll have to excuse Tommy’s brothers and their...humor. You’ll get used to it at some point, but I’m not sure how long that’ll take.”
“It’s alright, the question just...caught me off guard.” Y/n smiled weakly at John with sympathy as he rubbed his ear with a childish grumpy furrow of his eyebrows. “Besides, we aren’t exactly planning on turning into bunnies or having all of our children in a month. We can’t have two Johns in your family, can we?”
The tension was cut like it never existed. The family, all except John, laughed. Y/n smiled and joined in, happy her joke made from the knowledge of John and Esme’s relationship Tommy, and a boasting John, shared with her, caused the family to laugh. Her nervousness was brushed away by the sound of amusement.
“Oi! What’s that supposed to mean?!” red dusted across John’s face. He knew exactly what it meant.
“Look Tommy, I can see his fluffy little ears, how much longer do you think it’ll take for them to grow into big boy ears?” Arthur added.
“Alright, that’s enough, leave John alone.” she wiped away the tears she had shed from how hard she was laughing. Pol couldn’t remember the last time she laughed that hard, let alone the last time she had a good laugh.
Y/n was Tommy’s angel, the thing that kept him who he was, the beacon that signed home when he was lost, and now, she was spreading that feeling to his family. While dinner continued, jokes being made, fun being poked at, spirits high and tummies full, Polly was thankful.
She reclined back into her chair, watching as Y/n leaned into Tommy’s side, her eyes sparkling with interest when stories of a teenage version of the man was brought up. Y/n brought out the child-like-souls they thought were long gone. She made sure they had fun and didn’t grow up in a sense that they had lost their fun sides.
The boys were acting like children once more, wrestling with each other and chuckling every now and then. Ada and Y/n were snickering to themselves by the fire like teenagers gushing over their crush.
“I’d like to make a toast.”
The fun-filled-joyous sounds came to a halt when Pol raised her glass. They all quickly grabbed their glasses, Y/n and Ada reaching beside them, and the boys stumbling over to the kitchen and returning with their beverages.
“I know I should’ve done this at dinner, but now feels like the perfect time. Thank you, Y/n, for...well everything. You helped Tommy, later meeting him again and rekindling the fire you felt for one another, which I doubt had ever gone out. Thank you for bringing our spirits of happiness and fun back to us, relieving us from business and worry. Thank you for being the sweet angel you are.” She wiped a small tear from her eyes and raised her glass again, “to Y/n and Tommy.”
“To Y/n and Tommy!” The siblings smiled and downed their drinks. Their fun resumed, without Y/n and Tommy though.
“To us,” Y/n turned to Tommy, both drinking to the toast, and set down her glass. “Thank you too, Thomas Shelby, for fighting through that war. You didn’t have to fight for me, but you did, and you kept up with that promise. I love you so much.”
“I love you most.” He rested his hands on her waist as he pulled her in for a soft kiss and her hands cupped his cheeks. They stayed there for a second, relaxing in the euphoria before pulling away. Tommy walked over to the sofa, patting the spot next to him. “Just a couple more weeks, then you’re all mine.”
She rested her head on his shoulder, smiling at the ring on her left hand, “A couple more weeks.”

Can you rank your favorite TW seasons? I'm currently rewatching and I'm surprised to see how my opinions have changed so much the second time
I'm doing this without having watched Teen Wolf since the final episode so WOO here we go!! uninformed trash under the cut
1) SEASON TWOOOO
This season will now and always make me lose my absolute shit. They found their feet after season one and Season 2 really managed to find its stride with a mix of comedy and drama. Skirted that sweet sweet spot of not taking itself too seriously but seriously enough that it doesn't turn into Riverdale. And, If we're not counting Theo, Matt was the most interesting Villain to me. I loVEd him, Stephen did a fanfreakingtastic job of playing him and was a lot more appealing than most of the villains in that he wasn't just 'evil supervillain' but a very human villain.
2) SEASON 3B
Season 3 B was pretty fucking amazing and I won't lie, it would've got first place if not for the fact that Season 2 just brings me more joy personally. Like storywise and stuff, 3B is definitely the best season, but I just...enjoy 2 more. Like, to me 2 has more rewatch value whereas 3B is amazingggggg Season 2 had better 'stand alone' episodes. Like you can dip in and out and enjoy it whereas 3B you gotta go for the full season.
3) Gonna be a super unpopular opinion but...Season 4 is in third place for me. At the time I haTED season 4, but when I rewatched it before Teen Wolf ended I really really loved it. The introduction of Liam into the Supernatural world and him being shown as a scared kid was a really nice (and angsty) reminder of how young the characters are and Liam being reluctant to fight the Beserkers/deadpool kinda stuff at first is !! really nice. Also, Derek going full wolf, even tho we knew it was coming, was AWESOME
4) Season 1. Look, it kinda sucks, its predictable, it's HILARIOUS, the first time I watched episode one I had to pause after the bite because I was laughing so hard at it. But again, it's idk...It's fun, it has some nice moments.
5) Season 3A honestly...I'm not..a big..fan..of 3A, Could be the murder of Boyd and Erica, could be the fact that the Alpha pack were just..not that scary to me and had me rolling my eyes most of the time they were on screen (I mean two of them fuse together likeeeee????? They wanted me to not take that as a joke?) Still had some amazing moments and really brilliant episodes/sequences. The Darach, again, not a great villain, had a lot of potential but just, didn't quite hit the spot for me. Will definitely dip into the series to watch some moments but then you know. I think The overlapping plots of the alpha pack and the Darach just led to kinda too much happening at once leaving me not giving a shit about a lot of the stuff that was happening. Also....True Alpha. I wish I could ignore the fact that its the dumbest thing I've ever heard, but I just can't and it sullies the whole series for me.
6) 6B. Because Thiam. Lets be honest at this point the show had driven off of a cliff and I was only watching for Thiam. The return of Gerard as a real player almost made me quit. I can't rewatch anything but the thiam scenes because anything with Gerard and/or monroe/and/or the teen hunter group has me foaming at the mouth. Not to mention the absolute slap in the face that was Brett and Lori's deaths. I am bitter and I will never not be.
7) Season 5A. I hated season 5. To me it was one of the worst things i've ever seen. I was actively routing for Theo to kill the entire McCall pack by like episode 3 and the only reason it is this high on the list is because of two reasons.
Reason one - Watching Theo kill Scott and everyone else in pain in the last episode made me happier than I think i've ever been. I was hoping they'd just end the whole series right there.
Reason two - I've just realised that the reason I was going to put (Theo and his lil chimera pack strutting into Eichen, pretty BAMF vibes) was in 5B so...I guess I only had one reason. So I'll repeat it. Theo decemating the McCall pack felt like the first rain to signal the end of a drought.
8) Season 6A. It's here because Thiam, but Theo wasn't in the season enough for my tastes. Would have liked it (maybe) if they'd kept Kira for the season abOUT PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL THROUGH FUCKING LIGHTNING instead of saying she had 'no story left to tell'. Again, had some great moments (*cough*thiam*cough*) but overall it was pretty shitty and I have a lot of beef with the Stiles being taken and only Lydia, who didn't even know who Stiles was like a year and a half before, being able to bring him back is without a doubt the dumbest and most disrespectful (to Scott and Stiles's friendship ((and to Stiles and the sheriff's relationship)) plot i've ever seen and was so shoehorned in it made me hate Stydia with a burning passion despite having shipped them in the previous seasons. (I am so sorry to any Stydia fans. I know it was a huge awesome moment for y'all and I'm really really glad you got that and I'm not trying to like belittle your ship I just have some personal grievences with how Stydia played out (as a whole, not just in that moment, that I can't get over))
9) 5B, I know i technically watched it all but i think i blacked out from the shame of having to endure it. Theo getting dragged into hell was pretty awesome ngl but overall, fucking terrible, If i have to watch anything from 5B i will just find clips on youtube rather than having to suffer through full episodes.

Hello! Hello! Hope everyone is having a glorious weekend thus far.  With enthusiasm, we are finally introducing you to another spectacular creator, pettigrace. The author of buy and sell gravity, its sequel free fallin’ in the jungle lights, and other fantastic works across 5 fandoms! Why don’t we just dive in?
Omg, Yas! Hi. It took us a while to get here, but we finally made it haha. Why don’t you start by telling us about yourself? The twist, the word count has to be either equal to or less than the number of letters in your two favorite Teen Wolf episode names.
Motel California and The Divine Move are the only episodes I remember by name, so I guess they must be my favourites. (15 + 13 = 28)
My name is Yas, I am an aroace being from Germany and I absolutely fucking hate time travel. I work as a journalist sometimes and I love writing.
Oh wow, a journalist! I love meeting people who’ve made a living out of their writing! What’s a typical day like as a journalist?
Mind you, I am not your typical journalist. I may look like Clark Kent most of the time, but I don’t do the stuff he does (that extends also to the superheroing, sadly) - I work for the youth page of my local newspaper, which means I get to write a few articles about/aimed at children a few times a month. I usually go for reviews of media (as in books and tv shows most of the time but movies, games and all that jazz, too!) but every once in a while I get to do something bigger as well. That means (typically) interviewing people in sports clubs, writing about my personal experience about a topic or doing surveys about things. It’s not much, but my name is in the paper pretty much every week.
I’m trying not to be super impressed and failing, but that’s honestly phenomenal! Obviously, you’re a huge fan or movies, books, and tv shows. Did that influence your name, pettigrace?
It refers to Peter Pettigrew from Harry Potter! (But Yas, you go, isn’t that the guy who doomed James and Lily Potter? To which I say: He also killed Cedric Diggory! And faked his own death! And gave Voldemort back his body!) No, hear me out. I don’t love the guy. Hell, I hate Peter Pettigrew as much as we all do. But he’s an important character in the world of HP and doesn’t get the recognition for it. He’s the unsung villain of the story. Is he a good villain? Heck no, he’s probably one of the worst. He doesn’t even have his own agenda! Still, he symbolizes something that’s important to me when I look at characters: The way they develop. How they used to be in certain situations. General character development. We don’t talk enough about the secret talents and thoughts of him.
Also, ace. Because like many characters, I headcanon Peter Pettigrew as asexual. Thank you.
And, how did you find your way to the Thiam fandom?
Here’s the funny thing: I think that I only started shipping them as much as I do now while I already wrote fic for them. I don’t know, I saw the appeal because I love those ships with awful banter and the enemies-to-lovers trope, so the arguments Theo and Liam kept having right from the beginning practically screamed at me to ship them – even if it didn’t fully hit me yet and I hated Theo during season 5 (which is to say, I loved him as a villain. He has always been a great character, just not a good person.). I’ve read a couple of fics for them at the end of last year and then decided to write my own and both of those actions made me realize how well they fit together and helped me learn to appreciate them both in their own ways.
Gasp, How can anyone hate Theo?! Though, I might be a tad bias lol. I think a lot of people would agree with you about how well they fit together. Since you’ve only had time to grow in your appreciation for their relationship, why don’t we try a little game?
Let’s pretend this was a Stranger Than Fiction situation and you could predict any aspect of their lives with your writing. How would you set up the follow scenarios:
a. Their first postseason 6 interaction:
Okay, I’m a sucker for canon so let’s stay with that. I think that after the hospital scene, after Theo’s taken Gabe’s pain and the battle is won, it would not be Liam who approaches Theo to talk about. In my head, it would be Mason – he’s the one who realizes the significance of this, he’s the one who told him he doesn’t care enough to take someone’s pain (I think Liam doesn’t know about that in canon? If I remember wrong, let’s just pretend he doesn’t know.).
So I don’t know, maybe Theo leaves the hospital while everyone’s celebrating, completely overwhelmed and also feeling wrong there – he’s not part of this friend group and now that the battle is over, they don’t have any use for him any more, right? So he slips out; only to be followed by Mason. And we know Mason.
He’s clever and determined and he doesn’t back down from confronting someone. He doesn’t like Theo, he’s said as much, but now he’s seeing progress in him. He knows what an aide Theo has been for Liam, both in the fights and with his anger. He addresses all of this and Theo reacts like we all expect that he would: dismissive and sarcastic. Mason doesn’t buy into it for a single second, but he doesn’t try to make Theo stay when he says he needs to leave. I feel like it would actually be good for him to leave for a while because boy, does he need a time-out. Let’s be real. It’s clear that Theo isn’t as much of Liam’s responsibility any more. Liam doesn’t keep him close and he can leave and Liam wouldn’t feel like he needs to watch him. Theo’s come back from hell and then he’s had to fight battle after battle. He’s not friends with any of them and there’s no reason for him to stay around. So, he leaves, and Mason lets him leave, both because he gets it and he doesn’t really care if Theo is around or not.
Now Liam. I feel like even at that point in canon, Liam doesn’t really see Theo as a person. He knows him as a villain and as an ally but never just as Theo, and even with the almost-kiss between them (because that’s what the elevator scene has been, goddammit. There’s an attraction between them and it’s only been increased by the adrenaline, but especially Liam doesn’t really realize that he cares about Theo), he doesn’t even notice at first that Theo is gone. He’s too full of ecstasy and when he’s reunited with the rest of the pack, that only becomes more. It takes him a few days, maybe even weeks until he truly notices that Theo is gone. It’s not that he just forgets about him – Theo’s been present enough in the past few months, especially to him – so the remainder of him helping clings to Liam’s mind. He doesn’t ask anyone about Theo, though. It’s not like anyone really cares, he thinks. And he knows Mason’s dislike for the chimera, so bringing it up to him wouldn’t be fruitful either.
Of course, Theo comes back. Beacon Hills is his home and he just feels this draw back to it and (that much he can admit to himself) to Liam. He’s also the only one whose phone number he has so after much thinking – and Theo’s logical, so he doesn’t try to convince himself to ignore it – he calls Liam. It’s awkward because Theo had just disappeared like that (which Liam would call him out for) and maybe that leads to a fight between them; one that ends with Liam admitting he’s needed Theo around because he’s felt so restless and he’s not stupid, he knows that’s what it feels like to lose your anchor. Theo grows silent at that, not sure what to answer, and Liam almost hangs up because he’s too embarrassed by that confession and hell, they’re not even friends. He practically admitted to be in love with him, which is not even the case. They’re not in love yet, that’s for sure. But then, suddenly, Theo just says, “I’m coming home,” and that’s a promise.
The call would end shortly after that, with awkwardness hanging in the air, but Liam’s excited and content at the prospect of Theo coming back. And Theo, completely beside himself, sets off towards Beacon at once.
I have the image in mind (and heck if I knew if that works time zone-wise but maybe Theo’s still in the same) that the next day when Liam comes out of school, he finds Theo chilling in the parking lot, leaning against his truck like that’s his usual spot. Liam, not sure whether it’s appropriate to hug him or whatever but shit, is he happy to see him, jogs up to him and beams, saying, “You came.” And Theo, the little shit that he is, just rolls his eyes and clicks his tongue and goes, “Yeah. You’re paying lunch.” And then they climb into the car and ride off into the sunset.
(God I can’t believe this became almost two pages of basically just relationship study, I’m so sorry!!)
Never apologize for passion! What about a Thiam Double Date with any other ship from the show?
Well, Morey is obviously a given. Seriously, once Thiam started dating, Liam would definitely make the two of them see how much Theo has changed – I have no doubt it would become somewhat awkward, with Mason outright having stated that he despises Theo and Theo having worked with the people who killed Corey… Still, I think they’d go out for a movie or something or maybe just happen to be all at the Geyers’ home at the same time and maybe they would bond over video games or something.
I could also see that after some time, Theo would make up with Melissa. If he stays in Beacon Hills, he might end up being the one who brings her lunch – a weak attempt at making up for all the things he did to her and her family, but it’s the best they can do. After a while, Melissa would probably inquire him about what has happened and try to make him deal with the guilt; at the same time, she could see he’s different now, so then she insists that Scott and Stiles see it, too. So, she’s the one who’d set them all up. Probably a giant dinner or something at her house where she invites Thiam, Scalia and Stydia. And maybe she has Papa Argent over, too. It would be awfully tense, especially with Stiles’ and Malia’s hatred for Theo and maybe it ends in a disaster, who knows? But maybe Melissa mentions a fun story from when they were kids and Lydia, though she isn’t completely at ease either, would remember something she saw the guys do in elementary school (remember, she was there, too, even if they weren’t friends) – and then they would forget themselves and explain how they came up with the idea of stealing a toilet seat or something. They’d just chat about how things have been and then suddenly there’s a silent where they all swallow and remember that it can’t be like that anymore, can it? But there’s a promise: If they all can remember and laugh about it, and if Theo’s truly changed, then maybe there’s hope.
Finally, one conflict they’d have as an official couple:
Liam’s anger, without a doubt. I don’t think Theo can be as patient as fics make him out to be. He probably doesn’t know how to actually react to one of Liam’s outbursts and the way he talked to him during 6B wouldn’t always help. If Liam lashed out at him, Theo would probably let him – that’s another topic between them, the way Theo will accept anything as a sort of punishment for what he’s done. Liam would be overwhelmed by guilt and Theo would try to talk him out of it, say it’s okay and it’s not like he didn’t deserve it. And then Liam would tell him that no, he doesn’t. Theo’s already paid for his sins and he’s learnt to do better and anyway Liam isn’t his judge. It’s a vicious cycle because they’d argue and then Liam would get angry again and maybe then he’d just walk away and punch a tree, but the problem stands. I just made myself sad :(
If you could magically write any Thiam story with your mind, what story would you craft?
I have a few stories in mind that I want to write, especially for Thiam, but there’s one I keep putting off because it would require me to rewatch some of season 5 and basically all of season 6. I just don’t have the time or spoons for that at this point. If I had, though… Oh dear, hold on to your seats.
It’s told from Mason’s point of view, believe it or not. Either while or after he’s been possessed by the Beast, he’s developed powers of his own: He can suddenly see some kind of aura around people. It’s kind of a count for karma, with bad people having really dark colours while good ones have bright colours – later, though, he finds out that was aren’t general ratings but how the people view themselves. So, the last glimpse Mason gets of Theo is before he goes to hell.
His aura is really bright except for a few specks here and there. When he comes back from hell, it’s the darkest Mason’s ever seen.
Basically, the story would be about character growth and the way people see themselves. For example, both Stiles and Liam have darker auras than you’d expect them to have, because they’re good people, right? It wouldn’t surprise you after the nogitsune and Donovan that Stiles doesn’t think that of himself but Liam? It gives both the reader and Mason new insights into the characters of Teen Wolf.
The fic stays close to canon as it plays out, only that with Mason being the narrator, you get to see more of the puppy pack, of course. The way both Liam’s and Theo’s auras change as they interact with each other and Theo truly betters himself until in the end… Well, that’s it, right? Does the end stay lie in canon, too? Would Mason do something about the way his best friend feels better about himself when he’s around Theo? Who knows, definitely not me yet.
I’m excited to jump into your writing! First, if you could describe your creative process as a living entity, what would it look like? Wear? Listen? How does it handle conflict?
Hm, they‘re always around, though usually pretty chill in the background. Like, you turn around and they’re there but it’s not like they’re really annoyingly present, if that makes sense? I’m always working on something in the back of my head, and a lot of time it becomes more pregnant, so from time to time this person would be more active. And maybe they would be annoying from time to time, like when an idea doesn’t let me sleep or occupies my thoughts at all times, though that’s become a rarer happenstance lately. They’d be dressed pretty casually, maybe just a hoodie and sweatpants or something – my writing isn’t anything extravagant, and neither is the process of it for me. Actually, I don’t think they’d be a person, to be honest. I literally just described my cat.
ALOL, well, looks like we’ve discovered one of your writing influences haha! Do you and your cat have any Writing Kryptonites?
Oh, probably action. Which is especially sad in regard to Teen Wolf because you can come up with such amazing fight scenes in this fandom! But I’m struggling with writing motion, actually. No idea if it’s just that my vocabulary is limited in that area, being non-native to English and all, or if I generally suck at it, but it always feels so wrong to me. I write from a single person’s perspective, usually, so I’m limited to what they see and how they move and even then, it doesn’t feel swift enough. I’m working on that, though – there was a time when my writing basically only consisted of dialogue, and that became much better during the past years.
That’s amazing! What are some ways that you try to better your writing? Besides, well...writing haha. Have you done any type of skill building that you thought worked for you?
Most of it has definitely come just from continuing writing, to be honest. I’ve only once told myself to actively focus on something (it was really early in the beginning of my writing where I tried to get more skilled in describing people - the way they look and move, stuff like that). Otherwise, it’s basically just that. In writing class ,there were a few things you could try out, such as focussing on different emotions while writing or something.
Things that do the trick for me, usually, are PoV switches (meaning one chapter from A’s perspective, the next from B’s, stuff like that) and waiting to write something specific until I’m in the same mood as well. So if a character’s particularly sad in one scene, I’ll leave that for a time where I am sad as well. It works well for me because I don’t write chronologically anyways.
And is there one trope or scene that always ends up in whatever you’re writing?
Well, I barely write anything that doesn’t include an asexual character. Also, there’s always some meta-ish reference to canon in AUs and, weirdly enough, I always have characters either watch or talk about Star Wars. That even happened before I watched the movies myself!
In case of Teen Wolf, there’s always the act of redemption for Theo. I feel that it’s an essential part of both him and Thiam as a relationship – the way Theo grows as a person and becomes better. I’m a sucker for parallels to canon, so that’s always a topic in one way or another. Of course, Theo doesn’t kill someone in every AU, but he deals with something that holds him back, makes him kind of a bad person, every time.
And then, I always come back to his friendship with Scott and Stiles, especially the latter. I’d have loved to see more of that in canon, maybe in stories or flashbacks or something. You’ve always had Scott and Stiles as practically one entity up to season 5 and suddenly Theo comes along, and you’re supposed to believe they used to be three? And nothing was ever mentioned? Of course, the writers only came up with that plotline for season 5, it makes sense they didn’t have anyone discuss Theo before. Still, it feels like something is missing there to make you truly believe it and I love to reflect on that, play with it. Stiles’ stance towards Theo draws me in a lot – how come he doesn’t trust him right away? Was something happening between them? How would it have been if Theo never left? I love to dig into that.
Mental illness is also a big thing for me. We have canon evidence for mental illness, even if they’re never named. They all must have PTSD. Stiles shows extreme signs of ADHD. Lydia is practically a survivor of sexual abuse. Multiple characters have attempted suicide. Liam is canonically diagnosed with IED. It would be ignorant not to refer to any of that while writing. Lots of fics I’ve read mention the struggles, depict them greatly, but only a few talked about handling them, about recovery. It’s about time we make progress in that department.
Hmm very true. And not a thought, as a perpetual fluff writer, that I’ve considered until now. You deal with quite a bit of mental issues within your main story, Buy and Sell Gravity. Before we chat about it in depth, can you give us a quick synopsis?
Buy and sell gravity starts with one of Liam’s outbursts of anger. In his social studies class, Monroe has talks badly about adoptive/step-parents and Liam started arguing with her until said he sent him out. So, then he goes and slashes her tires in classic Liam-style. Theo, who has only moved back to Beacon Hills recently and is surrounded by awful rumours, but nothing specified, catches him and decides to take care of it. He saves Liam’s ass and in return he demands that Liam pays for his food during lunch. But then they actually become friends and Liam learns more and more about Theo.
And did anything inspire you to create the premise?
The idea just came me at random – I just had that image in mind of Thiam making a deal. It’s classic romcom stuff, right? And I had thought it would just turn into a lengthy oneshot at most but now it’s the longest thing I have ever written. It’s crazy.
The story is told from Liam’s perspective. Do you think the story would unfold differently had we’d experienced it from Theo’s POV?
I’m actually writing a sequel at the moment, which is from Theo’s perspective. There’s references to buy and sell gravity, of course, so you actually do get part from Theo’s point of view! In general, though, had you seen it all from his point of view, the slow burn would have felt even longer, I imagine. The sound of the fic would have been darker, because that’s Theo’s mindset for the most of it, and there wouldn’t have been so many questions. Theo doesn’t really wonder about anything in this fic, he reflects and draws his own (mostly correct) assumptions. I feel like it would have sounded pretty monotone – it made sense to only pick up his PoV in the sequel and if you’ve read buy and sell gravity, you might be able to tell why. He’s opening up more towards the ending and a more pleasant person to be around to.
I’ve noticed most of your stories turn into longer fics. Have any tricks for keeping yourself motivated to write those longer plots? (Clearly, this is purely self-indulgent here haha. It’s a near miracle if I stick through a long, complex plot!)
I usually only start posting multichaptered fics once they’re already finished. This way you can motivate yourself by going “Well, if you don’t finish it then you won’t post it, nobody will see it and you worked for nothing.” That method works well for me because I love recognition for my works, even if a lot of them are for obscure pairings.
In case of buy and sell gravity, I’ve already started posting while working on it, however. I’ve felt stuck because it’s been my first fic for Teen Wolf, so I was very unsure about whether I hit the characters correctly, if it felt believable; stuff like that. I needed feedback from more than one person and since I’ve never really been in the fandom, going ahead and posting it was my only option. I wanted to know whether it was worth continuing working on it. the feedback was amazing and the fact that a few people came back for every new chapter was a wonderful motivator. Oh, and it certainly doesn’t harm when you have someone literally show up on your doorstep and demand you write a new chapter.
Your first Teen Wolf fit?! Impressive!! Is Teen Wolf now your ultimate favorite fandom to write? (*Wink Wink*) Or, do you have another favorite fandom/ship to write for?
The Arrowverse is generally my favourite fandom. I love all the shows and the way it consists of multiple worlds give you so many things to take away from! You can write any AU, you can write for abandoned timelines or worlds, crossover between the shows and ship practically anything. You can go all out, have doppelgängers appear (like one evil and one good version of the same person, stuff like that). There are no limits. Writing for it is fun because you can draw from so many shows and even include the original comics, if you want. Right now I’m (and have been for the past one and a half years) working on a Groupchat AU set in the Arrowverse where everyone is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and even that doesn’t seem too out of character.
As to a ship, I probably enjoy Simon Lewis/Raphael Santiago from Shadowhunters the most. Writing for them is almost easy because I can relate to both so much. Depending on which mood you’re in, you can write Simon’s optimistic and reference-heavy rambling or maybe you write the angst that constantly underlines Raphael’s thoughts. I can always find a way to write for them because they’re so different and yet fit together so well.
Yoooo, we could honestly strike up a whole subconvo dedicated to Simon x Raphael lmao. Since we’re supposed to be all about Thiam around here, I’ll restrain myself and simply agree about your opinions on Saphael. (I’ll miss them, sad face)
Being a writer of many fandoms then, what’s your ultimate Teen Wolf crossover with any other show or movie universe? What character would you see interact?
God! I’m a sucker for crossovers with DC! There’s a few I read where Stiles is always the person in question (whether he’s a member of the Batfamily or the brother of The Flash, I’ve read both of those cases, haha). I love the connection of the Teen Wolf world with DC Comics. I wrote a retelling of a Flash episode with Thiam in the focus and someone else wrote a Under the Red Hood AU which still keeps me in awe. (And also, it’s too funny how much the casts overlap, the double identities practically overlap – suddenly Liam is Superboy, Derek is Superman, Allison is a mafia daughter, Jackson as Red Arrow… It’s great.)
Otherwise, what I haven’t seen yet: Twilight. I’ve (re-)discovered my love for it last year and honestly? Let those mix up! Washington and California are both on the West Coast!! I have no idea about how far exactly but let them meet! Let Emmett Cullen beat up Peter Hale! Have Edward and Derek suffer together through their depression and Scott and Jasper try to comfort everyone. Lydia and Alice? Nobody’s dying on their watch. Let Rosalie and Malia kick ass together and Melissa and Carlisle swap hospital stories! Stiles and Bella hanging out together, being sarcastic little shits and also way too much into all this stuff. Hell, I’m gonna write this myself if I have to! (Otherwise I accept fic recs. Thank you.)
Before we wind down, what’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? Any advice you feel compelled to share?
I used to be really bad at discussing plot ideas with people – I dunno if it was an irrational fear of them running off with what I thought of, but it’s been there. I’ve been in a creative writing class about two years ago and there I was basically forced to do it. It helped somewhat with the progress of my story and being around people who like to do the same thing as you is always a great motivator.
I don’t listen to those conventional writing tips, like what atmosphere you’re supposed to have around you and how to depicts things. Writing is a personal experience and you can do it in a way you seem fit. Not everyone feels at ease in the same environment, so just write when you feel like it. Forcing yourself to do it doesn’t help anyone – except you can only work under stress, of course! See? There’s that individuality again, ruining my own writing tips.
Ahahaha, advice giving is a definite catch-22. Thank you for hanging out with us!! What’s next for you in the world? Both creatively and lively?
I’ve started an apprenticeship to become a bookseller this month! It’s a huge change compared with the life of a student that I had before, but after finishing my Bachelor‘s degree last December, it’s what I needed. Sadly it means that I don’t have as much time to write as I’d like, but I’m doing my best to squeeze in some of that. For Teen Wolf I‘m meaning to wrap up free fallin‘ in the jungle lights finally - otherwise, there’s a few WIPs in the Arrowverse and (uncharacteristic for me) MCU lurking on the back of my brain.
Anything else you’d like to share, in general. The floor is all yours!
I’m not really in the Thiam fandom, I think (really, the number of people I actually chatted with outside of ao3 comments can be counted on one hand), but here’s a massive shoutout to everyone! To the people who write, the people who read, the people who leave long comments, the artists, the meta-people, the ones with the headcanons. The people here from the officialthiamlibrary! You make writing a better experience and your opinions and reflections upon the show and characters help me become better at understanding them. Thank you all for being so lovely and just… into it. You’re all amazing!

Title: From Platform Nine and Three-Quarters
Author: AnchoredTether
Rating: T [graphic depictions of violence, major character death]
Pairings: Stydia, Scallison, Malisaac, Scira
Series: Teen Marauders
Chapter: 1/?
Summary:  Scott and Stiles receive their acceptance letters into Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, two loners who instantly connect on the train and keep their friendship strong despite their division among houses. When Scott is bit by a werewolf in his fifth year, his best friends Stiles, Allison, and Lydia come up with a plan to make his transformations less painful.
Author’s Note:  In this story I’ve incorporated canon from both Pottermore and the Harry Potter books, and a few things from Teen Wolf canon have been incorporated as well for werewolf lore. As far as storyline goes, it plays out relatively similar to the Teen Wolf story with the same established relationships except for the alterations that Lydia and Allison are already friends with Scott before he becomes a werewolf, and characters such as Isaac, Kira, and Malia have been there the whole time and everyone knows each other. As far as house sorting, I know a number of you will disagree with me. And I agree some characters share traits from two or even three houses, so it was hard to decide. But in the end, I chose houses that I felt best reflected the characters’ strongest traits. I don’t delve too much in years 1-4, but there is the occasional flashback. I mostly focus on years 5, 6, and 7, which will reflect Teen Wolf’s timeline of sophomore, junior, and senior respectively. There will be some storylines from both Teen Wolf and Harry Potter incorporated into this AU as well.
1st Year August 31st
“Hey, can I sit in here with you?”
“Sure...there’s plenty of room.” When Stiles Stilinski entered the booth and sat across from him, Scott had no idea he would quickly become his best friend. Scott shyly offered him a small smile, then avoided eye contact by staring out the window. But the other kid would not shut up. “Ooooh man I’m so nervous! But I’m so excited!! This is insane. This is all craaaazy! But it’s all so real, you know? I can’t exactly deny anything. But at the same time I have no idea if I’m dreaming all of this and I’m just doing some crazy sleepwalking episode again and my dad is going to wonder why I’m making a sandwich in the kitchen at three in the morning.” Scott chuckled softly as he brought his attention to the kid who decided to sit with him. “You sleepwalk?” He scoffed. “Yeah. Quite a lot. In fact, that’s partially the reason how I found out I’m a wizard. Apparently I would sometimes make objects move on their own when I sleepwalked. Sleptwalk? Sleepedwalked. Stelptwalked. I don’t know the proper term.” “You didn’t know you were a wizard?” The kid across from him stilled like a cat hiding under the bed. “I....I’m...neither of my parents are…magical.” “Oh...” Scott frowned, lowering his eyes a moment before returning them to the boy. He smiled to ease the conversation. “That must be hard. How’d your parents take it?” He still looked uneasy, but right before the kid was about to answer him, Scott spoke up with concern in his voice. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to- I mean I didn’t want you- you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.” “No, it’s okay. I just...” The boy tilted his head and narrowed his eyes curiously. “Hold on, I don’t even know your name! Sorry I suck at manners. I’m Stiles.” He held out his hand to shake. “Stiles?” Scott smiled as if to hold back laughter. “Is that short for something?” Stiles deadpanned so hard Scott was afraid he might be plotting to kill him. “It’s a nickname. How about that? My last name’s Stilinski. That’s where it comes from.” “Oh okay. That makes sense.” Scott nodded as if that validated Stiles’ name as normal, but deep down he still thought it was strange. “I’m Scott. Scott McCall.” He shook his hand and waited for some kind of response from Stiles at the mention of his last name, but then he remembered he was muggle-born. Stiles smiled warmly. “Nice to meet you, Scott.”
“Sooo....how much do you know about everything?” Scott asked idly as he broke into a chocolate frog. “How do you mean?” “About magic. Hogwarts. The wizarding world.” “Oh, right. That.” Stiles swallowed hard. “Next to nothing? I mean I tried to research as much as I could but there was nothing to research unless I went to Diagon Alley, and I was only able to go there yesterday. I bought a bunch of books to study, but I figured I would be too anxious on the train to focus so I didn’t bring any on my person.” “Do you know about the houses?” “Houses? No not really. I just know what was in the acceptance letter. And...what I observed in Diagon Alley.” “Well there’s four.” Scott explained. “When we get to the school we’ll be sorted into a house, by the Sorting Hat. It determines what house you are based on your personality and stuff. Supposedly the Hat can see your potential, so its sorting is always accurate.” “What are the different houses?” “There’s Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. My mom’s a Gryffindor, and my dad...he’s a Ravenclaw.” “What does it mean? Are there certain traits to each house?” “Yeah, there’s also animals and colors for each house, and that kind of represents the house too. Gryffindor is a lion, Hufflepuff a badger, Ravenclaw an eagle, and Slytherin a snake.” Stiles pondered quietly a moment. “What house do you think you fit into?” Scott shrugged. “I really don’t know. Some wizarding families have everyone in the same house, but with my parents being different houses, I’m not so sure.” “Can different houses interact with each other?” “Oh yeah. classes are just by year, so they’ll have students from all houses. But your dormitory will be in your house, and most people usually spend time with those of their own house. But my mom said it’s easy to interact with anyone.” “Ah. That’s good, I guess.” Stiles wondered if he and Scott would be in the same house or not. Either way it was reassuring to know he could still see the only person he met so far. “Do they...is there a mailbox at Hogwarts?” Scott snickered. “Wizards don’t use the post system. We have owls. It’s much faster. But yeah, there’s lots of owls at Hogwarts just for students to use.” “Right. I wasn’t too fond of getting myself an owl, but I need to write my dad so he doesn’t worry about me.” “Do you have any pets?” “I have a cat. Her name’s Roscoe.” “Isn’t that a guy name?” “Yeah, but it also means handgun. And she’s black.” Stiles shrugged. “I had her before I got my acceptance letter, and it said we could bring a cat. Do you have any pets?” “No...I thought about getting an owl too, but I have no idea how to care for owls.” The train lurched, and when Scott glanced outside the window, he beamed at Stiles. “It looks like we’re almost there!” “Finally.” Stiles said as he tapped his fingers nervously on his knee.
“Scott McCall.” When deputy headmistress Braeden called Scott’s name, Stiles had to nudge him to pull him out of his trance. He looked over at his friend and gave a sad smile before heading up to the stool that would decide his fate. It didn’t take the Hat very long to announce, “HUFFLEPUFF!” From what Stiles had gathered, Hufflepuff was the kindest house, and he felt it was fitting for his new friend Scott. The table of golds and blacks welcomed him warmly with applause and cheers. Stiles wondered if he would be welcomed the same. Several more names were called, and Stiles could feel the dread intensify as he cursed his dad for having a name that was so far down the alphabet. He stole a couple of glances at Scott, and he occasionally found his gaze and offered an encouraging nod. It felt like such a defining moment. What if he was sorted into a house he didn’t belong? What if he was sorted and everyone there hated him? What if he didn’t fit the characteristics of that house? Stiles had to remind himself it was magic. The hat was magic, it would magically know what house he belonged. Everything would have to work out perfectly, because magic was involved. “Stiles Stilinski.” Exhaling deeply, Stiles went up to the stool and had the hat placed on his head. He closed his eyes tight as he prepared for the worst and hoped for the best. “SLYTHERIN!” Stiles opened his eyes to see the thunderous applause and whooping that came from the table of green and silver. The Slytherins were spirited, that much was certain. He recalled rumors of Slytherin being the house of dark witches and wizards, but the negative doubt in his mind was cleared instantly when he found himself sitting next to the most beautiful strawberry blonde.

Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 8, A Heart of Darkness Review
Tumblr media
Welcome to another Shadowhunters review. Because I love to torture myself with ridiculous and illogical writing. But actually this week's episode, whereas it was ridiculous and illogical, I didn't hate this episode. It wasn't great but for an hour of television, I could tolerate it. So here we are with Season 3 Episode 8, A Heart of Darkness.
I would like to preface this review with saying that I am NOT a huge supporter of this show. I do enjoy certain elements of it but I'm not what would be classified as a devoted fan. For me, Shadowhunters is not a good show and I do get very critical of the show in my reviews. Honestly, for me, I watch the show because 1) I'm too curious not to and 2) I find that this show can be so bad its funny and that's how I reap enjoyment out of it. I am not at all invested in this show or its characters anymore. I'm just watching to see what happens. If you're a die hard fan and you lash out at everyone who has a different opinion than you, you might want to skip these. I'm just saying. My reviews may not be for you. If you do decide to be a total troll, well then pay attention to the below disclaimer.
This is going to be an honest review of my thoughts and feelings regarding this episode. If you're the kind of Shadowhunters fan where you only want to hear positive things about the show, this is not the place for you. If you decide to stick around and get offended by what is said, then that's on you. I warned you. Just know that if you send me any rude comments or messages, I will 100% ignore you. I find that's the best way to deal with bullies. I work 14 hour days. Do you really think I want to waste my incredibly valuable free time dealing with derogatory comments? Hell no. This review will consist of my honest opinions. Opinions are never right or wrong. I'm not telling YOU how to think and feel. I'm telling you what I, quirky and socially awkward me, think and feel. So please, lets discuss with dignity and respect. If I'm critical about this show, it's only because I want it to get better. There is, in fact, a difference between hating a show and being critical of it. I do not hate Shadowhunters, I am being critical and analyzing the flaws as I would with any other show. There are positives but there are also negatives. It's great if you want to promote positivity with this show (and I encourage you to do so) but that doesn't mean I'm not going to point out the things that are legitimately wrong with it. Also, keep in mind that despite the fact that I do like the books, me being critical of this show has nothing to do with my fondness for the books. I don't really care if the show deviates from the source material as long as the changes are good, it makes sense, and it doesn't create plot holes within the confines of the world the show has created. My problems with this show are problems I would have with any show or book for that matter. I think it's perfectly reasonable to take issue with a show that has plot holes, shoddy world building, and inconsistent characters. There will be spoilers for the books and movie.
This episode could actually have been very enjoyable if the show had bothered to take its time with previous character arcs. There were quite a few character moments that made me legitimately feel things in this episode. Not enough to cry or anything like that but if the show had bothered to learn that you don't have to cover two books a season and slow down in which case they would've had time to properly explore and flesh out some of these character dynamics, it would've resulted in me probably being moved to tears in this episode. But unfortunately, the show did not do that so what could've been very emotional moments just continues to fall flat. And I realize I just contradicted myself a little there so let me explain. I did feel things in this episode for the characters but the characters and their relationship dynamics have been so shakily developed that it was more me feeling for these characters as if they were their book counterparts. I'll delve more into this explanation as I go through this review.
The Episode Where Shadowhunters Got All Teen Wolf On Us
You know, I'm not even mad that Shadowhunters pretty much stole an entire plot point from another supernatural teen drama. Shadowhunters does love its tropes even though when they do it, their version is somehow much more boring than the original plot point it was inspired from but that's beside the point. And honestly, if you're going to take a plot point from another supernatural teem drama, you can do a lot worse than Teen Wolf. Not to mention, the specific plot arc they used from Teen Wolf is one of my favorites with the plot highlighted by the amazing character relationships of the Sciles (Scott/Stiles) bromance and the slowest of slow burns, Stydia (Stiles/Lydia). Both were amazing character dynamics within the show that I greatly enjoyed. R.I.P. Teen Wolf. I still miss you.
Shadowhunters didn't do quite as well with this plot as Teen Wolf did simply because Shadowhunters does very little to actively develop their characters in general but nonetheless, I did quite enjoy this plot point, flaws and all.
This segment was probably my favorite of the entire episode. Alec and Izzy going to help bring Jace's soul back to the surface was really interesting. The show has spent so much time on these character's love lives that a lot of times we forget that these three have spent most of their childhood together. That they do have real bonds with each other. From what we've been told, they were a moderately successful team before they met Clary and it was really great to see that dynamic again. In the book, it's actually Clary who's able to break through Jace's possession and it works there. But for the show, it's definitely something that makes more sense if Alec and Izzy were the ones to do it. Show Clace just doesn’t have the relationship foundation to make that plot point not cheesy. I suppose the show could still go back and make Clary be the one to do it and just like earlier this season, it'll still be cheesy and I'll still hate it. So I'm really hoping the show doesn't go for that. That it'll be Alec and Izzy that will motivate Jace to push past the possession. But at the same time, I’m not holding my breath for that one. This is Shadowhunters after all; I’m not sure it knows how to not be cheesy and cliché.
I really enjoyed how we got to see Alec, Izzy, and Jace sparring with each other as kids. The dialogue was cringey as hell but the actual idea behind the scene I really enjoyed. I liked the song that Izzy sang to Jace. I thought that it was a really nice touch and I certainly never expected the show to use that song. It's not in the context of how it was used in the books but I felt like it was very effectively used in this scene. And Emeraude's pronunciation of french wasn't half bad, either, so I'll give her that. I like how the first part of their journey starts with "Three go in, three come out." And the journey ends with the same "Three go in, three come out." If you haven't stuck with me through my Supernatural re-watch you wouldn't know this, but I'm a huge sap for episodic symmetry. I absolutely love it when that sort of thing happens. Shadowhunters needs to do more of that instead of having these one-off scenes that have no bearing for the rest of the episode and the rest of the season for that matter. And then the plot point ends with Alec and Izzy in total despair after Lillith gets Jace again when they promised it wouldn't happen. Which I also really enjoyed. Obviously, not the part where they're in deep emotional pain but, you know, plot symmetry.
Of course, not everything with this plot was great. For starters, the insinuation that Alec's parabatai bond is the strongest connection there is has me a little iffy. The show's version of a parabatai bond's strength goes up and down. It has no consistency so I have a really hard time believing that one. Then Magnus also talks about how what he's doing is super dangerous and it could be the end for Alec and I'm just like, "As opposed to when?" Whenever Alec does stuff like this, he always ends up in the worst possible shape. Seriously, if we're to look at the parabatai bond through the eyes of the show, why would anyone ever want a parabatai? Other than to receive an abundance of tracking abilities, that is. I wish the show would stop focusing on the dramatic elements of parabatai-ness and start showing the positives of having a parabatai. Because at this point, I see none.
I also wish we got an explanation just in general of how this process of going into Jace's mind works. It feels really convenient that for starters, Magnus has the ability to project Alec into Jace's mind using the parabatai bond and then he also has the ability to bring Izzy along for the ride as well. How? Who knows. I guess it's a spell that Magnus just happens to know even though it doesn't really make sense that Magnus would have any ability to influence runic magic. This sounds more like something a Silent Brother would be able to do as opposed to a warlock. Warlocks have power to manipulate demon magic. The runes stem from angelic magic. His magic shouldn't have any power over angelic magic. But I should stop this. The apocalypse will hit before this show ever explains its magic system or its world-building. And I'm talking fire and brim stone apocalypse not that whole Walking Dead/zombie apocalypse thing society is currently obsessed with. The zombie fad is dumb and I hate The Walking Dead with a blood searing passion.
And again, kind of an issue with the plot is how little we have to go on with Jace, Alec, and Izzy's relationship. This is what I meant when I felt emotional about scenes but it was more on the behalf of the book characters than the show characters. We haven't really been given a lot on the show about how Jace, Alec, and Izzy functioned together so it was easier for me to use the book counterparts as surrogates in this scene and that's what got me emotional. Thinking about how the book characters would react in this kind of situation is what illicited an emotional response with me. Whereas the show characters aren’t too terribly written, I don’t have much of a connection with any of them and we have this show’s dialogue and poorly executed plots to blame for that.
I'm also going to be nitpicky here. Why was Lillith having Jace stab Clary over and over in his head? In order to make sure Clary couldn't reach him anymore, Lillith had to take away his love for Clary with an anti-love potion. He supposedly doesn't love her anymore so why would him continuously stabbing Clary in his head be an effective means for torture? He doesn't love her so he shouldn't be affected by it. I feel like I’m missing something here.
Also, not sure why Asmodeus would care if LIllith killed Magnus. Why would he care about some half-human whelp that resides in one of many hundreds of dimensions out there? It makes sense why Lillith cares about Jonathon because her ability to have children was taken from her so she clings to Jonathon. However, Asmodeus is hardly in that same boat. He can have any number of children in the hundreds of dimensions he can visit. Why would he care about Magnus? I guess we'll see whenever he gets introduced. I’m honestly not excited for that.
Like with Lillith, anything Owl Jace had to say was super bland and uninteresting. And nothing he had to say was all that ground-breaking or hurtful. It's like insulting someone while you're tired. You're literally too tired to put any bite behind your insults. You're just insulting for the sake of insulting. It was super obvious that he was talking and no one really cared what he had to say. I certainly didn't. And I'm not entirely certain why Simon thought yelling at Owl Jace was somehow going to make Jace feel bad. Was he not told that Jace is being possessed? It was really weird and I didn't care about it. It was cheaply manufactured drama and that’s the worst kind. Owl Jace also made a comment about Alec being with Magnus but at the same time truly wanting to be with Jace instead and I'm just like, "Where the hell did this come from?" Alec being in love with Jace hasn't been talked about since Season 1. I didn't even realize this was still an issue within their character dynamics. The show definitely should've re-introduced this particular character dynamic before mentioning it in this episode. But they probably didn’t have any time what with the million and one side characters they have in this show.
Clary's Interrogation
This entire episode, we have Clary being interrogated by the Mortal Sword and in what it accomplishes, it works. But what it does with her character, I dislike. So initially last episode, I had this head canon that the reason Clary decided to stay behind unnecessarily was because she's dealing with a lot of guilt regarding the consequences that have arisen from her using the wish on Jace. This is her way of making amends for what's happened. I'm all for this character arc obviously because Clary never being held accountable for her actions is something I despise about this show's writing. I really want Clary to "grow-up" (even though she's 18 and she should already have been taught that decisions have consequences a long time ago) and learn that there are consequences. That just because you break the law for the right reasons doesn't absolve you of guilt. You do a bad thing for the right reasons? That doesn't make the bad thing a good thing. You should still be willing to hold yourself accountable for the bad things that happen as a result. In this way, Clary is very similar to her father. Valentine did a whole mess of terrible things and he attached a bunch of justifications to those bad things in order to make them good things in his eyes and refused to hold himself accountable for the lives he destroyed. Looking at it through this, can you really say Clary is much better despite all of her protests? If she goes unchecked, Clary is surprisingly a lot like her father. So I was really hoping that Clary was having a bit of an epiphany and I was super excited to see this play out.
But no. Apparently, the only reason she's doing this is to buy time for everyone else. And this makes absolutely no sense. When the Clave apprehended her, they didn't know who dug up the grave. They literally only know the story BECAUSE she stayed behind. Because they had someone to use the Mortal Sword on to tell them who dug up the grave. If she had went with everyone else, the Clave still wouldn't have had any idea what's going on. My head canon makes sense but what the show did instead makes absolutely no sense. It just makes our heroine look dumb and not in a "this makes sense for her character" dumb because I respect that sometimes characters make dumb decisions based on their character arcs. This is just dumb story-telling that wasn't properly thought out at its conception and no one bothered to tweek it. Seriously, who edits these scripts? Does no one in the Shadowhunters writing room care that their show makes no sense? That their characters are dumb simply because the plot demands them to be but yet they still expect the audience to view the characters as these legitimate, hyper-intelligent adults? Shouldn't you as a writer care about something like that? Why do the writers have zero respect for their audience's intelligence? Because I've got to believe that these writers realize how dumb their characters are and they're just hoping the audience will go with it. And the truly depressing part is that I wish I could say that this is only a problem Shadowhunters has. But I've seen other Freeform shows and they also display the same level of lazy writing. If Freeform wants to get on the level with CW, it's not going to be enough for them to be more "edgy" (and they’re barely edgy as it is), they also need to work out the kinks in their story-telling. That's where their real problem lies.
And Clary, for whatever reason, can resist the Mortal Sword which, eww. Mary Sue attacks again. I get that this episode was attempting to exposit information to the Clave so our characters are on a time crunch. But it was completely unnecessary for Clary to have this ability to be able to resist the sword and just further pushes her into the Mary Sue archetype. At this point, we get it. Clary is strong and amazing. The show's really laying this theme on thick. You would have to have an IQ of -900 not to have picked up on that Clary is supposed to be strong. Seriously, what does this show have against allowing Clary to be vulnerable? Even in her emotional moments, she lacks vulnerability. Because even when she cries, she's still perceived as better than everyone else because she has the audacity to show how she's feeling. That her feelings is what makes her better than everyone else. Clary eventually, in probably her biggest Mary Sue moment ever, is able to push the sword away from her and tells the Clave she's happy she used the wish. Because it stops anyone else from being able to use it to destroy the downworlders. And I can't help but feel she's making a lot of assumptions about the Clave here. That if they were to ever use the wish, she believes that they'll use it to rid everyone of demon blood. The only one who's guilty of that is Valentine. She has no idea if the Clave made a wish, it would include downworlders. It might but it might not. It's all in how you word the wish.
But at the end of the episode, Jia Penhallow (Aline's mother) asks Clary if she has any final words before she places punishment and Clary asks Jia to think if it were Aline, and Jia was in the same situation, wouldn't she have done it for Aline? And Jia just verbally bitch smacks Clary by stating no, she wouldn't have. Because she understands that there's things in this world bigger than her and her daughter. That being a shadowhunter is about sacrifice. I'm not too fond of the overarching theme that shadowhunters aren't allowed to feel which seems to be what's driving this scene (honestly that particular theme can curl up and die in Season 1) but I do like the idea that despite Jia loving her daughter, she would let her daughter go if she had to weigh her daughter against the fate of the entire world. And Clary has always kind of scoffed at the idea of shadowhunters "being dead inside" as she so blatantly stated once in Season 1. She views it as a flaw within their society and in certain aspects, it is a flaw. Love can make you stronger and them shutting emotion out completely is a bad thing that I hate that the show decided to implement but when it comes to doing what's right and helping the most amount of people which is what shadowhunters exist for, you have to accept that sometimes sacrifices are necessary. And shadowhunters live a life where dying young is something that's expected and they come to terms with it at a very young age. They respect that in order to save the world, they may have to give everything up. That's the cost for the power they received. So in that respect, I do like what Jia is saying here and it's definitely something Clary needs to hear. Hopefully, this will spur some much necessary character development Clary’s way.
Then Jia sentences Clary to death and of course the show chooses the most dramatic punishment possible. Honestly, I feel like death is the wrong punishment to give here. It's kind of giving Clary the easy way out (not that I believe for a second that Clary is actually going to die) but if it were me, I would want Clary to survive to watch the repercussions of her actions. For her to see the world be seeped into hopeless despair. That's the kind of punishment I would give Clary. For her to see just how much her actions could have destroyed the world. But like I said, this whole death sentence scene is completely moot because we all know she's gong to escape.
I know this section turned into a bit of a rant but to be clear, I do appreciate what this plot accomplishes i.e. the Clave finding out about Jace and Clary being put in a tight situation however I do not appreciate what it does for Clary as a character. I was hoping for some character growth but it doesn't look like we're going to get it.
Simon/Maia/Jordan Love Triangle in Full Swing
Now that I've finished with my rant lets get on to another thing I liked. I really enjoyed how the Simon/Maia/Jordan love triangle played out. It was awkward when it needed to be, it was dramatic when it needed to be. Really the only thing I wish the show had done more of was develop Simon and Jordan's bromance a little more. Because it really feels like they've known each other for at most a week. If we take the Maia drama out of the mix, it feels a little contrived that Simon feels this betrayed over a guy he barely knows. Also, I’m sad that it looks like the Jace/Jordan/Simon bromance isn't actually going to play out. Damn you, writers. You had a chance to actually make your show fun and interesting and you blew it because you insist on covering two books a season when it isn't necessary. Just slow down and have fun with the characters. Why are the writers in such a rush to get through the books? They don't have the rights to The Dark Artifices/Shadowhunter Academy/Bane Chronicles. They only have The Infernal Devices and I find it highly unlikely Freeform is willing to produce a period drama. And if the show's attempt at original characters is anything to go by, I really don't have a lot of faith that they can pull off their own original story arcs. At least not in the interesting way Vampre Diaries and The 100 manage.
I really liked how Maia's drama with Jordan unfolded. It's true. It would be so much easier for Maia to hate Jordan if he was still the same person that left her bleeding out in the woods. But he isn't and she's having a lot of problems dealing with this. And I do enjoy seeing this sort of complexity with these characters. It's not something this show is very good with. So when it does happen, it's always a real treat. Hopefully, the show won’t drop the ball on this.
Time To Talk About Lillith
It's that time again. I guess I have to summon up a section to talk about Lillith, the blandest of the bland. Her blandness even rivals Show Valentine's. Also it would be nice if Lillith would stop sucking as a villain. She keeps on failing in her plans and it’s really difficult for me to take her seriously. She's basically the Rita Repulsa of Shadowhunters.
So first off, what is going on with Ollie? Is she possessed or is her blood tainted? I really can't tell. If she was possessed, why would she be surprised by the power Lillith has? But I suppose the real question is when will Ollie die already? Seriously, just have her fall off a building or something at this point. I don't care. Just get rid of her. She's a boring character and stop wasting screen time on her and give that screen time to characters I actually care about. I don't even care that she's an LGBT character. She does nothing I care about. And honestly, I really hate it when LGBT characters are put into a book or show just to make a statement about how progressive they are. I love having LGBT characters but I only want them to be in the story if they contribute to the narrative. If they have little to no place within the story, I want them gone. All I care about is them as characters. If you're not going to do anything with them, then what's the point? And I feel the same way in regards to hetero characters. If you don't add anything to the story, I want you gone.
Let's talk about this business with the seelie queen. So Lillith attackes the seelie queen's knights because she wants the seelie queen to take the mark off Simon. And I actually like the idea that the seelie queen's reasoning for marking Simon was to protect him because the seelies believe in protecting those who are unique. It makes sense. They're immortal so they need unique creatures to pass the time. But I really don't like how weak the seelie queen was protrayed here. I don't think it's in character for her at all. Even if she's beaten, she's still 5 steps ahead of everyone. She's immortal, basically ageless, she knows she'll get her revenge. She's patient. I couldn't get behind this moment because it didn't feel like the seelie queen. It just felt very convenient and didn't align at all with the character we’ve seen previously.
And the episode ends with Lillith escaping with Jace. Nice to know my prediction this weekend was corrcet. Owl Jace did escape and it was for dumb and contrived reasons. I'm very disappointed in you, show. Quit being so predictable.
Overall, even though it felt like I ranted about a few things, I did enjoy this episode in a way I haven't enjoyed the show in a while. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad, but I could tolerate it. It had some nice character moments which I lived for and bits of the plot weren't half bad. Truthfully, if the show spent a little more time building up their character dynamics, this episode might've been able to move me to tears. I'd probably give this episode a B- to B. Like an 84%. Not bad at all. Next week is the two hour finale so those episodes better be good. I can barely focus on this show for 42 minutes. These episodes better be something special to warrant airing the episodes 9 and 10 back to back.
As always, I'm open to discuss this episode with anyone. Did you agree? Did you disagree? Just remember these are my thoughts and opinions. I'm not telling you how to think and feel. I'm telling you what I think and feel. I don't police anyone on fandom so I expect that you don't police me and we'll get along fine.

I hope all Stydia shippers are happy! -Scalia -Scott's eyes are back!! fuck, I was so worried. -The pack can breathe again. -Stiles' reaction, ohmygod -Scalia :) -FUCKING MONROE!!! -Ohmygod, the people of BH aren't against the pack!! THANK GOD!! I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT THAT!! -Liam and Nolan as co-capitans. -Just like Scott and Jackson were and they also had bad blood between them but got over it. -Liam: "You did. Because you're a great coach." aww my heart -Coach: "You're right. I am a great coach." *cries in Spanish* -I don't know if you've realized but the shots of Theo, Peter and Morey with Deaton are all from previous episodes. Just saying. -Because some people were complaining about Theo being in the tunnels and Morey learning about supernatural stuff (and not being Stiles the one to learn). Calm down your tits. -"Now we've got allies who used to be enemies" and they show Theo, I'm so happy!! #rendemptionaf -"We have protectors." and they show Peter glowing his eyes!! -"We have friends willing to fight for us." - Deaton showing a book to Mason and Corey -I think that part described the other members of the pack so well :) -Mama McCall and Papa Argent!!! YESS!!!!! AWWWW!! -Jethan!!!! AWWWWWW!!! -Aww, Scott saying goodbye to Chris as he held his hands *crying* -Monroe, that bitch -YES, THE PACK!! They're coming together!! -And it's raining, nice touch. -You know, I know it's supposed to be like, the central pack (no offense to the others) but I would've loved to see Mason, Corey and Theo with them as well. Or maybe under different circumstances, but all of them together. -Scott's speech!! -That wink!! Sciles4ever -Alec: "Who are they?" Scott: "My friends. My pack." YES!!!!!! -Scott: "And you can be with us if you want. But you're gonna have to fight." that's right, homie boy!! If you want to be in the McCall pack, you're gonna have to fight!! -Scott: "You're not a moster. You're a werewolf. Like me." DECEASED -I'M DEAD -Slow-motion as the pack comes together! -I'm not crying you're crying!! -The first ones who get together are Derek, Scott, Stiles and Lydia!! That's like the four that where from the very beggining!! -And then comes Malia and Liam, important members as well! -It was weird seeing the new kid between them but meeh... -Scott should've flashed his eyes at the end. -Oh, the moon!! -THE END.

A/N: Okay, I think I know what type of narrative this will be, so, that’s something.
Photographer!Peter Parker x reader
Word count: 857
Summary: You wouldn’t think a dinner with two broke artists would be this wonderful.
Warnings: alcohol consumption, brief mention of pet death
PART THREE

Tumblr media
“Where the fuck is that album?!” (Y/N) groaned, trying not to demolish the newly cleaned apartment as she sifted through all her stuff.  “I swear if I don’t have this album I- THERE YOU !” she gasped, dashing over and talking to the rickety tv set shelf, “you’re going to find a new home, little buddy,”.
She placed the thin, unopened album on the sanitized kitchen counter before checking on the chicken.  Cleaning up the small home really made (Y/N) realize how much useless stuff she has… and how gross some of her habits are.  Hm, maybe she could sell some of those old clothes and decorations or something, y’know, bring in some more money.  “Hopefully Peter likes cheap wine…” (Y/N) sighed, grabbing the only wine she could afford off the shelf.
Knock knock
Peter stood outside the door.  He had only walked four strides outside of his apartment to get to (Y/N)’s, but he was so out of breath and sweaty.  Why was he this nervous?  Wait, should he have brought something other than ice cream?  He just wanted to be nice and bring a dessert.  Was it even the right social setting to bring something?  Should he have gotten flowers?  He had a little money left, he could have gotten like, Daisies or something.  Well, maybe she was allergi-
“Peter!  Hi!” (Y/N) greeted, smiling brightly and genuinely for the first time in so long.
Peter yanked himself out of his thoughts as he smiled awkwardly.  “I uh, I br-brought some dessert,” he quivered, trying to still his shaking hands.
“Aww, how sweet!” (Y/N) smiled, taking the giant tub of ice cream out of Peter’s clammy hands, “come in, dinner is almost ready,”.
Peter stepped in, slipping off his shoes and leaving them by the door.  He checked out the quaint apartment, seeing the cool television and since poster right next to the entrance.
“Hey, is that a dog toy?  I didn’t know pets were allowed,” Peter beamed.  He loved dogs!  He had always wanted one.
“Oh, yeah, uhm, pets aren’t allowed here, I just keep that in memory of my old dog, Cookie,” you hummed sadly, serving up the pasta.
A grimm feeling filled Peter’s heart.  Oh no… the poor doggie…
“Yeah, I had to leave him at my parents house; I couldn’t take care of him,” you shrugged sadly, carefully bringing the hot bowls to the little table against the wall, “but, I’m glad he’s there; a few weeks after I left him there I had to move here where you’re not even allowed to have fish,”.
Oh thank God, the dog wasn’t dead, Peter sighed in relief. “I’m sorry, one day you’ll get to see your fuzzy friend again, and I’m sure he’ll be happy to see you,”
When was the last time Peter had chicken alfredo?  Probably last time Aunt May had him over for dinner, which was… oh geez, when was the last time he had dinner with May?  He should probably call her up.
“Sorry, it’s not too fancy, but, I got some cheap wine to make up for it,” you laughed, hoping your joking tone would hide the fact that you spent your last twenty bucks on it and were crying on the inside.
“I’m a fan of anything that’s cheap!” Peter joked back, giggling a bit.  Oh… what a nice smile he had.
You ended up both sittin on the couch (foldable bed), already two and a half glasses into the bottle, and both giggling messes.  “Wait, wait, ‘I larb you’?” (Y/N) giggled, gasping for air she was laughing so hard, “I haven’t met her, but I already LOVE your aunt!”
“She really is great,” Peter replied, taking another long sip from his glass.  That was another good, cheap find (Y/N) was really excited about; wine glasses.
“So tell me, what do you do?” (Y/N) sighed, getting more comfortable in the couch, “because no successful lawyer is staying in a studio apartment in the philthy streets of New York,”.
Peter’s face fell.  And here we go.  She would reject him all because he couldn’t get a decent grounding in his job.  Damn you society for deeming art as a less-valuable trade!  “I uh… I’m…” Peter wasn’t going to lie, that would make things WORSE.  Oh well, might as well get the heartbreak over with.  “I’m a photographer,” he answered, trying to hide his defeated expression behind his glass.
“Really?  That sounds like fun!  Have you named your camera?” (Y/N) asked, scooching closer.
HALLELUJAH, IT WAS A MIRACLE FROM HEAVEN!  “Actually, yeah, I have; her name is Abby,” he chuckled, laughing as the ridiculousness of the fact that he named an inanimate object.  “And you said you were a writer, correct?” (y/N) nodded, “what did you name it?”
“Elizabeth,” you answered, laughing with him, “Elizabeth and Abby should meet, I think they’d be good friends,”.  This was so stupid, but Peter seemed to be having a good time!
“It’s a date!” Peter laughed, “this time, you can come over to my place and we’ll hang, how’s that?”
“Perfect,”

Our Problems With Teen Wolf
Note: My friend, @knightedtime, and I made this a while back and I decided to release it because the world should know our feelings XD Or something meaningful like that. So here we go.
I have nothing against the actors. I have nothing against the writers. This are just my complaints. Any hostility will be exploited.
Feel free to add your own if you’d like! Just include a line break.
Jackson Whittemore. He came off as a huge asshole even when they tried to make him sympathetic and I was indifferent to him “dying” temporarily.
No reasons for Lydia acting shallow, vapid and pretending to be dumb while she was with Jackson. It was never addressed. Never talked about why she did that and everyone just acts like it didn’t happen. Okay.
Lydia doesn’t seem to have friends. You can claim the Pack are her friends but ??? They don’t hang out much. Like hang out like normal people their age. So I think Danny was her only real friend because he showed concern and shit and talked to her outside of mystery problem stuff.
Theo Raeken being a Peter Hale rip off. Cause that’s what he is. And trusting him about anything is bullshit. He fucked that up. Maybe had he been developed more I’d be more understanding. Nothing against Cody Christian but Theo is just another evil dude with pretty face. At least Peter had some sort of depth.
Stydia last season
Most Stydia fans
Stydia in general
Stydia being shoved down my throat.
Season 5 in general
Kira’s “ending”. It was bullshit. There was some open ended shit so her story being over was bullshit. BULLSHIT. BULLLLSHIT. and I hope Arden Cho is doing great things after that utter bullshittery.
The loss and lack of Danny. I fucking loved him and he was just gone. Another actor mistreated on this asshole show. Well, I hope Keahu Kahuanui is doing greater things than this.
Last season is about Stiles. At least 6a. I’m sorry but in NO way should the last season of the show being about the sidekick. I don’t give a shit what or who he is. STILES SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE MAIN GOAL OF 6A. I don’t give a shit about what Stiles fans and Stydia fans have to say about it.
Scott and Stiles’ friendship is continuously on a downward spiral. Stiles has always been the dominating personality in the relationship. Check out all of season one if you don’t believe me. Scott just recently started coming into his own with being an alpha, a leader. I feel like Stiles doesn’t like that. Aside from this, I also feel like Stiles expects certain privileges with being Scott’s “best friend” but their relationship has corroded and they can’t really be “best friends” if Scott no longer trusts Stiles. And I don’t believe he does, regardless of what Jeff says.
The unrealistic relationships. Stydia. Stalia. Mainly. Because it’s kind of relationships that they just kind of pulled out of their asses and were like “meh”. Adelaide and Gage left and Stiles just needed someone.
No explanation for what happened to Derek. Literally. I know that Tyler H. said he wasn’t coming back but the show never explained where Derek went. Yet another character that we’re suppose to just forget about.
Scott’s development from season 3 to season 5. Where is it? I mean, yes, he was kind of an asshole in season 2 when it came to Derek making more werewolves. Then it went stagnant.
The fandom/fanbase. The most vocal (I don’t want to say majority) are the Stydia people. The most vocal of the Stydia people seem to be bullying the actors and I AIN’T ABOUT THAT. Listen up, you little parasites, your show is ending due to you bitching all the time. Had it not been for that, might have gotten some more.
The shipping wars
Layden. Another rushed relationship that I don’t have the capacity to care about. Plus the “homage” to Scallison is just -.- exhausting.
Theo Raeken comes back for season 6, erasing the last thing Kira did on the show. Thanks.
Rehashing old relationship. Same as 19, but it really urked me so let’s put it up here twice.
Theo Raeken in general
Lydia and Jackson ever being a thing. It was a toxic relationship. They were both kind of hateable. Some people are just too toxic to be together. Maybe had Colton Hayes stayed the could have worked on that, but Colton deserves better so he can go ahead and do what he’s doing.
Stydia in General because it’s really cliche if you look at it. That whole popular girl gets won over by the nerd/geek is so worn out. Usually, I’m all for an underdog story, but Stiles isn’t an underdog. He’s kind of an asshole. He kind of treats everyone like garbage (even Lydia in some instances) and the two of them are usually at odds. Honestly, Stydia happening (to me) isn’t out of love, but out of Lydia paying homage to her dead best friend because Allison was the one who told Lydia to give him a chance. Make of that what you will.
Scott moving too quick. I mean… His relationships go from like 5 to 100 in a matter of episodes. It’s a bit concerning even though he’s a sweet boy. It makes me concerned for him.
WTF HAPPENED TO LAHEY (I know he’s with Chris but wtf? No updates on him). Not even mentioned again. He doesn’t exist.
The last season being focused on Stiles when they knew beforehand that Dylan O’ Brien was going to be busy and it really should be focusing on the Titular Character given that it’s last season. (On here twice cause it’s BULLSHIT).
The way that Jeff Davis treats his actors. I’m looking at Danny’s actor and Kira’s.
Peter Hale never got a redemption arc until season 6, but Theo basically got his immediately. Theo’s redemption is bullshit at that. Using fear as a redemption tool is never successful. Scared Straight doesn’t work for murderers. If it doesn’t work for sex offenders, it’s not going to work for Theo. Sorry, not sorry.
The fact Peter is probably going to get screwed over again. Wouldn’t surprise me.
The fact that Brett and Liam would have been more believable than Layden and Brett and Liam borderline hating each other. Maybe it’s chemistry, maybe it’s the fact that Layden was so rushed. The world may never know.
There’s not any main queer relationships. I dare you to name your top three in season 6 without repeating any characters. I fucking dare you.
They bring in a Bi character and he’s not used much. *cough*BrettTalbot*cough*
I can’t be excited for season 6 because of the past seasons (mainly 5) being at least somewhat disappointing
The fact that they claimed there wasn’t room for Kira and yet they casted a bunch of people for season 6 who were new.
Not that I ship it, but They baited Sterek a lot outside of the show for views.
Scott trusts Theo more than he trusts Stiles. So much for best friends, am I right?
Stiles kinda being an ass to Scott after Scott died and expecting Scott to be everywhere at once, resulting in that one gif where Stiles attacked Scott very fucking violently. Scott is a werewolf, not a superhero.
The show focuses more on Stiles’ Trauma more than anyone else’s. Scott and Lydia dealing with the loss of Allison, a part of an episode of them crying and the occasional mention. Why did Lydia act dumb? What went on with Scott since he didn’t have a dad? How has them being what they are affected them mentally? What about Malia’s trauma? These things are merely touched upon everyone once in a while. Stiles’ trauma is probably enough to write a thesis paper on.
Having no real reason other than Allison’s death for Isaac leaving (even that relationship was WAY too fast and wasn’t love based, like, at all)
Allison and Isaac’s relationship to begin with. There’s so much with this relationship that just grates me.
Allison tried to justify torturing people who had nothing to do with her mom’s death. Like I understand, but that also made it seem like they were going to set her up as a villain in later seasons, which for her not to go that route made it pretty damn disappointing and pissed me off. (Especially when she seemingly expected Derek to be cool with her. Fun Fact: Once you start disliking someone with a passion, everything that person does pisses you off so I can’t fault Derek here).
Gerard being alive. Just… That bitch.
The fact Scott is barely ever “single” and thus making him pretty fucking unrelateable. In highschool, I only date two people, some of my friends never dated, and some of my friends dated their s.o. freshman year or earlier to senior year. Plus, we never really seen him mourn Allison much so that could be a reason.
Kira’s story arc season 5 because that was weak to the point I barely remember wtf she was doing. Basically, made her character less memorable other being “that one girl Scott dated that wasn’t Allison”
The fact that Allison died at all, when really, they could have just let her actress leave and It’s like if you look at most people who are written off the show, the majority of Females who do DIE.
Stalia vs. Stydia. Stiles should work on his personality a bit before he should be in a relationship but whatever
Wtf happened to Lydia’s dad?
Wtf happened to Scott’s dad?
The show just gets more unrealistic and unrelatable. These kids basically have no breaks in between problems .-. In continuation to this, I’m adding the fact that this shit always happens to these kids and while it’s a tv show and everything, it’s rly unrealistic that everything happens to them.
There’s a rumor that Scott’s going to kick the bucket for the last season and I don’t like it.
Malia getting hate for dating Stiles.
Lydia’s sudden feelings for Stiles (Fandom would claim differently, but She looks really annoyed when he talks and their “humor” sounds somewhere between “I fucking hate you” and demeaning).
Void!Stiles not being addressed much (or the results of that rather).
Just now delving into more of Lydia’s abilities :l and they’re still pretty fucking shoddy.
Stydia getting so much fanservice. For example, the whole Stiles holding Lydia’s hand when it reasonably should have been Scott, considering they’re closer as “friends” and he can take away pain.
The Wendigo thing. Just… What the fuck man. Don’t introduce new creatures if you aren’t going to delve. Seriously.
How everything always happens in Beacon Hills (I understand the whole Nemeton drawing people there but still :l minus when they went to Mexico which can barely be counted :l)
The fact that the show treated Kira’s departure like a joke with the hashtag, but when it comes to Stiles’ Jeep, they take it seriously. You value you a character over a car. Congrats, assholes.
There’s no actual way that Stydia would work out considering the who “Try being less scared” line Stiles told Lydia while working on his Jeep (which is just one instance. This is NOT banter. This is NOT an old married couple).
Stiles is becoming more of an asshole with the more paranoid he gets which is why he shouldn’t be involved with this shit in the first place.
The whole ‘Some of us are human’ line. Like sorry, asshole. I like you most of the time, but still.
Tbh the way Stiles used to treat Lahey. Like, motherfucker he was abused and Stiles doesn’t acknowledge that and tells him he “milking” that. Lahey has trauma, you have mommy issues. Stop valuing your trauma over everyone else’s. Your trauma is pathetic compared to most other people’s.
The way that the fandom treats Parrish when it comes to Lydia.  She’s 18 guys and not even supposed to be in high school anymore, considering she could graduate early if she wanted. When you’re 18 you can date anyone older than you without people blinking an eye.
Kate ending up being a werejaguar where she was scratched by werewolf Peter Hale. Just the whole “the bite effects how you feel” or whatever. No. You get bit my a werewolf, you should become a werewolf. Whatever, man. I’m tired of applying logic to this show…
JD disregards his actors feelings
Fandom being Hypocrites when it comes to Posey doing something wrong, when Dylan O’Brien’s done some bad shit too. LEAVE POSEY ALONE.
We didn’t get a funeral for Allison. (But we got one for Crazy Kate -.-)
The show is more about ships than anything else. What is a story line?
The fact Allison’s mom was a bitch and Allison’s “hallucinations” show her as a bitch but she went off the deep end because of her bitchy mom was dead.
They promote Stiles so much that most people think he’s the lead main character. Before I started watching this show, I seriously thought Stiles was the main character. Imagine my surprise when Scott was the werewolf.
All their female characters are kind of shit :l or in the process of going to shit… Or they’re dead... Or gone. My feelings for Malia fluctuate, they reduced Lydia to a crying, moping mess who was willing to risk Scott’s life for Stiles Stfuckboylinski, Erica is dead, Cora is/was female Derek, Allison is dead, Kira will be remembered as “Kitsune girl who dated Scott” because their lack of using her, Hayden… wait… who is Hayden again?, Let’s not touch Krazy Kate, who’s Braedan again? Wait, where did Marin go? Oh, fuck!
Can’t say much for their male characters either at this point.
The fact that they kinda ended Kira’s story with a cliffhanger.
How Lydia was cool with Peter and went to him for help after the whole possession and “you” thing that happened. “Yeah, I know that you were like haunting me or whatever and literally made me feel like I was losing my mind which you never really tried to make up for, but I totally and completely trust you”
Why the fuck was it necessary to kill Erica? Is that the only way this show knows how to get rid of characters?
The fact that they probably brought theo back to make Matheo a thing. He fucking shot her. If I was Malia, I’d sooner rip his head off.
People defending Stydia with “It’s only fanservice if you don’t agree with it”. No, it’s fanservice because you bitched for it and the writers want to pacify you and hope you shut up. “The Stydia moments every season is only a thing if you ship it”. Nope, it’s fanservice. Holland Roden even admitted that season 6a was fanservice. (I say all of 6a because it was Stiles centered and seemed more like fan fiction than an actual tv show).
For how old everyone was, I’m kind of shocked that Allison and Lydia were still friends after Lydia made out with Scott… Unless she never found out about that? I don’t know man.
Allison neglecting her and Lydia’s friendship and only paying attention to get help from her resulting in what happened with Peter, but no one addresses that. Which, to me, makes Allison not the best bestie.
People sending Malia and Parrish’s actors death threats over Stydia. Are you guys serious? This is why the show is garbage and this is why it’s ending and views are dropping. Kudos to Shelley Hennig and Ryan Kelley for putting up with that shit.
The fact that none of the female cast have storylines that are front and center. They all seem to be in the background more than anything. The women of this show are more like props (excluding Allison and Melissa).
Stydia fanbase freaking out over anything bad that happens to Dylan or Holland. I’m pretty sure that whole freak out of her getting pushed is enough to explain my feelings towards this.
Then antiStydia people making hashtags telling Holland to kill herself :l That’s not fair guys. It’s not Holland’s fault there’s a bunch of oversized babies shoving their ship down your throat.
The actors getting any kind of threats over a FUCKING FICTITIOUS TV SHOW! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! YOU’RE DOING THIS TO A REAL PERSON OVER A FAKE FUCKING TV SHOW. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO BE ON SO MANY FUCKING DRUGS TO THINK THAT’S AT ALL ACCEPTABLE. A FAKE RELATIONSHIP SHOULDN’T BE THE CENTER OF YOUR LIVES. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST LEAVE THIS POOR PEOPLE ALONE YOU DEMENTED ASSHOLES. GO TO YOU FUCKING FAN FICTION AND JUST FUCKING STOP. JUST FUCKING STOP PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP.
JD giving the stydia fandom what they want when they don’t deserve it and they’re just a bunch of a brats.
The fandom shipping the actors together when they are real people with lives. This is just a general pet peeve of mind. Stop shipping living, breathing functional people unless you’re shipping them with their significant other. Don’t get caught up in other people’s life and start living yours.
The fact that apparently JD hinted Stiles was Bi and never did anything with it? :l He’s the straightest person ever. Seriously, I have never seen anyone straighter than Stiles Stilinski.
The Panic Attack kiss .-. I don’t wanna say it was OOC but it was a lot less Lydia like than everything else and the begin of Lydia acting less like herself like people do when they’re in an abusive relationship! (That was also the kind of panic attack that requires space too.)(Yeah -.- but oooo stydia)
The fact that the fandom was anti Malia (partially because she punched him once) but was totally cool shipping Sterek despite the fact that Derek p much assaults Stiles whenever Stiles steps out of line
Stiles also kinda treats Derek badly and Really? I don’t see why anyone would consider them to be ‘Friends’.
Lacrosse is somehow popular.  Don’t know how, but Beacon Hills seems about the same size as Fresno is and really? I don’t know how lacrosse got so popular when beacon hills has a football team and that’s the so called american sport.
Fandom is woo girl power one minute, then bitching about Malia and Kira (Lydia less than those two) as individual parts.
The fact that everyone’s character development is all over the place, basically all the time
Basically all the female characters getting slut shamed
People thinking that Stiles deserves Lydia, like she’s some sort of prize to be won. Lydia is a fucking person. Fucking chauvinists.
Tbh the people who get the least amount of hate are more abusive? (examples?)(Jackson, Derek (though Derek’s “hate” is more the fandom sexualizing him?)) (I’ve seen them call Scott abusive and I’m like okay HOW.)
Ima just say this now, which prob ties to a lot of the actor stuff earlier, but the way the fandom treats Tyler Posey specifically like… I really just… :l (It’s frankly disgusting how they treat him.)(It really is :c) So much love in my heart for that boy. I just want to fucking hug him and make him feel better.
The fact that they’re putting Parrish in a Freezer during season 6 when he could help.
Ik that Lydia wouldn’t do this because Lydia and Allison were “best friends” but tbh Lydia has more romantic and even more friendship chemistry with Scott than she does with Stiles (Yeah. I noticed that.)

Part of the Pack
Pairing: Malia x Reader Friendship Warnings: Stalia, Anti Stydia. Stiles gets slapped. Please guys, I don’t want to be mean but if you don’t like it, don’t read it. Word Count: 1686 Notes: Okay, so this fic is basically a huge fuck you to Jeff Davis’ shitty writing in season 6? I still love Stiles, I still love my blog but Season 6!Stiles treated Malia like shit and it made me mad. So yeah... this happened.
“I’ll never get it, Scott! I still don’t understand why I need math in the first place.” Scott shook his head at the Coyote but couldn’t stop his smile. “I bet you’ll get it soon. Don’t be so hard on yourself.” “No, I’m not being hard on myself. I’m being honest! Malia frowned at Scott’s laughter but didn’t comment on it. A look at the clock on her mobile made her realize that she had to leave soon, if she wanted to bring you back your notes. “Scott, I gotta go. I promised (y/n) to bring her stuff back today.” Scott followed Malia down to the front door and was about to say goodbye, when he opened the door and made his friend freeze in her spot. Even if he hadn’t been able to smell it, Scott would have noticed Malia’s anxiety by just taking a look at her. She was shaking. Stiles and Lydia were looking up from their kiss and Malia could already feel her claws grow. She had to get away as fast as possible. “See you guys in school tomorrow!” without looking back, Malia hurried away. Ignoring Scott’s calls after her, she passed her car and started running.
Malia just run away upset. Please call if you see her!
You frowned at Scott’s text message before typing in a reply.
What happened?
Before Scott had a chance to answer, your ringing door bell made you look up in surprise. You just hoped it was Malia. Crashing down the stairs, you ripped the door open and almost yelped at the sign in front of you. It was, in fact, Malia who was staring at you wide-eyed, but her fangs and claws were free for everyone to see. After taking a few looks around, just to make sure that nobody had seen her, you pulled Malia inside and closed the door behind her, before gently grabbing the girl by her arms. “What happened?!” “I can’t turn back!”  “What do you mean you can’t turn back?!” you tried to stay calm, for the sake of both of you, but you could already feel your puls rise. You had thought Malia had gotten the anchor thing under control! “What do you think, (y/n)?!”  “I thought you’d found another anchor!”  Avoiding eye-contact with you, Malia pulled you closer and tried to steady herself but it wasn’t working. Her mind was still thinking back to how she had lost her anchor to one of her best friends and the fact that it was hurting even though she didn’t want it to hurt! She was stronger than this! “You have to tell me what got you so out of it or I won’t be any help!” Malia hated this day. “I lied, okay?! I lied.”  Now, that was more confusing than it was helpful. Malia looked back up and let go of your arms, sinking to her knees instead. She wasn’t able to control her coyote and she hated it! “Malia...” “GOD, (Y/N)!I lied about the new anchor! I never had one! I... when I left Scott’s place I ran into Lydia and Stiles kissing and I can’t ...(y/n), I don’t know how to turn back without Stiles.” The coyote once again tried to avoid your gaze, because she already knew that you were watching her with pity in your eyes. The poor Beta not being able to cope with her feelings. It was stupid and it made Malia want to turn fully so she could hide in her old cave but she was upset and a full turn only worked when she was content and able to focus. On days like today she really wished they had never found her in the first place. What use did it have when the only thing that she had gotten out of it it was more pain? “I know this sucks,” you interrupted Malia’s thoughts, “but you have to become your own anchor, at least until you find a new one.” Malia didn’t want to find a new anchor but she also couldn’t stay like this and so she tried. She tried to calm her nerves down but as she looked down, she could still see her claws. It wasn’t working and the lack of control made her panic again! Before she could stress herself into a full blown panic attack, you placed both of your hands on her shoulders and tried to shake her out of it. At least that had gotten her attention. “Malia, we’ll try something. You’re going to close your eyes and listen to my voice and if that doesn’t work I’m gonna call Scott, yeah?” You went on after the girl gave you a short nod. “We’re going to breath together okay? Breath in through your nose and when I tell you, try to slowly breath out again through your mouth.” Repeating the breathing exercise a view times, you were relieved to see that it seemed to work. Her claws turned back into her human nails and her fangs got smaller and smaller until they weren’t there anymore. You slumped down besides Malia and pulled the girl into a hug. “I’m proud of you! You did it.” But Malia wasn’t feeling very celebratory, you realized, as she burried her face in your shoulder, hugging you back tightly. It would have been a lie to say that you had expected Malia to cry over her lost anchor but you still kept quiet as you let her cry on your shoulder, trying to rub her back in a comforting manner. How could Stiles hurt her like that?  He hadn’t even really broken it up between them, too cowardly to even do that right. He simply hadn’t cared. In fact, it seemed like both Stiles and Lydia didn’t seem to care one bit for Malia’s feelings and it was pissing you off! They were hurting their own pack member, their friend, and they didn’t care. If you were honest it didn’t just piss you off. It made you furious. A view minutes later, Malia was sitting on your couch with a cup of hot chocolate in her hands and your anger had yet to subside. Normally you hated getting in the way of an argument but you had also seen just how hurtful the whole situation was on one of your best friends and ignoring it simply wasn’t an option anymore. “Malia, where’s Stiles right now?”
“Scott, open the door!” your fist was heavy against the wooden front door and Stiles frowned at his best friend, who was sitting between him and Lydia in the living room. “Is that (y/n)? She sounds pissed.” “Yeah.” Scott returned the frown before getting up from the couch, leaving Lydia and Stiles alone, and walking to the front door to let you in. “Hey, what’s wrong?” As you shoved the Alpha out of the way to call for Stiles, Scott was more than confused. “What got you so fired up, woman?” Stiles voice spoke up from the living room even before he had reached the hallway. That’s when Scott smelled it. The sour smell of anger. The Alpha wasn’t sure if he’d ever smelled that much anger on you, always the optimist and always the one person trying to stay positive, but something had you furious and Scott wanted to know what it was. Or rather who. As Stiles fully entered the hallway, you instantly dashed forward. “You fucking asshole!” Scott was frozen as he watched you reach back and smack Stiles with your flat hand across his cheek.  His best friend turned away with a hiss. “What the hell! Are you fucking insane, (y/n)?!” “No, but you are the biggest fucking douche in existence! That was for Malia by the way!” “Wait, did she told you to slap me?!” “No, asshole! Of course not.” you rubbed your temples in annoyance before glaring at the boy in front of you. “Are you... like do you even KNOW how heartbroken she still is about your break up?!” “Well, it was a break up. They tend to suck but I’m not responsible for the way she feels.” “YES YOU ARE.” you didn’t care that you were screaming. Stiles was still as dense as always and you had watched them stepping on Malia’s feelings like it was nothing for long enough. Stiles tried to take a step back as you got into his space but you weren’t having any of it. “Maybe you shouldn’t have used her in the fist place if you were still crushing on the Banshee.” “(y/n), that’s unfair and you know it.” Lydia’s voice made you turn your attention away from Stiles and fixate her instead. “No, you know what’s unfair? Treating pack like they don’t belong in it! Looking back up into Stiles shocked eyes, a new wave of rage hit you. “Don’t look so fucking surprised, Stiles! You ignored Malia ever since you broke up with her! You even ignored her feelings because you were too busy running after the girl you had been crushing on for years and you don’t even care! You don’t care one bit about your ex-girlfriend and maybe she is too nice to say something but I’m not and you are a fucking asshole for breaking her heart.” “It’s not my problem that she can’t get over it.” “SHE can’t- ... wow.” a dry laughter escaped your lips and you got the urge to slap Stiles a second time. “You’re even worse than I thought.” You realized that it had no use. This took more energy than it was worth. “You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, both of you! But I still hope you guys get happy together. You definitely deserve each other.” And with that you were out of the door and back on your way home where Malia was waiting. You couldn’t say that your anger had magically dissapeared by yelling at Stiles, but you had said anything that had been on your mind and maybe, just maybe it had made Stiles and Lydia think about how unfairly they were treating their own pack.

Feet don't fail me now, take me to your finish line. Oh my heart it breaks every step that I take, but I'm hoping that the gates, they'll tell me that you're mine.
Walking through the city streets, is it by mistake or design? I feel so alone on a Friday night, can you make me feel like home if I tell you you're mine?
Tommy sighed, watching the woman he loved walk angerly out the door of his office. He informed her of the Changretta’s vendetta and how she would need to leave him to live. He told her that he didn’t care whether or not she wanted to, that it was his decision because he was the one the Italians wanted to kill.
“I can fend for myself!”
“I don’t doubt that, love, but you need to leave.” He looked away, the quivering of her lip too much for him to handle. Tom almost cried, his eyes were watery and his heart was aching, he really didn’t want it to come to this. “Maybe being able to protect yourself will keep you alive if you ever need-”
“Whatever. I’m not leaving. I’ll just go home until you can change your mind or learn that I’m no coward. Perhaps when you do choose the right decision, you could come stay with me. Otherwise, enjoy your time here, Husband.” Venom dripped from the word, hitting him hard as he watched her spin around, grab her coat, and hurriedly stomp out the building.
Y/n smiled slightly, only for a moment, responding to the sorry expression Lizzie gave her as she walked past. The smile soon dropped from her face, showing that it was only for Lizzie to see, that she too was sorry. The woman flinched as the doors slammed, rubbing the sides of her head with a deep sigh.
“Thomas. She’s right, ya know. I’ve seen that girl do some extraordinary shit. Think about it.” With that, Lizzie followed Y/n’s actions, quieter and calmer, but still leaving him to drink his sorrows away while he “thought” about everything.
He downed another shot. What had been? His hundredth shot? His desk was already a mess, his office no better, and his heart still bared the burden of knowing Y/n would either be hurt by him or hurt by the mafia. There was no loophole this time.
The girl he thought of made her way to her old home, drenched in the rain, and utterly tired. Mentally. Emotionally. Slightly Physically. She knew exactly what she was getting into; Shelby business usually always had guns involved. Pol often told her that Tommy really did love her, that he was just stubborn.
Y/n laughed mockingly. Thomas was stubborn, but stubborn could be broken with choices. So that’s what she gave Tommy. Two of the hardest choices she’d ever thrown at him. Y/n grew worried as she neared her home, the feeling in her stomach and heart. ‘What if he doesn’t follow?’
She halted in her steps, turning and looking around. He wasn’t there.
Her walking continued, this time feeling very, very, very, very, alone. Each time she passed a block, knowing she was nearing her house, she felt all hope leave her body. She felt strength, bravery, and faith deteriorate as her heart slowly tore in two.
The door to her house taunted her. It’s readiness to be opened, to have her brain laugh in self-mockery, to tease her about how stupid she was to believe Tommy would actually care.
Or maybe- he’d be behind the door. Raced her to her home to prove her wrong with a pleasant surprise. Her front door was full of tricks, and her heart was pounding with anticipation.
She opened the door, revealing the nothingness of her home. It’s interior dark and Tommy-less. Y/n didn’t know what to do. Her plan to hurt him just a little backfired into hurting her just a lot. The couch was her bed that night. She was alone.
Tommy failed her.
Don't make me sad, don't make me cry, sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough I don't know why. Keep making me laugh, lets go get high, the road is long, we carry on; try to have fun in the meantime.
Come take a walk on the wild side, Let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain, You like your girls insane, So choose your last words, this is the last time, Cause you and I, we were born to die.
Ever since that weekend, she’d been avoiding Tommy. She only stopped by their mansion to see Charlie and the other Shelbys, but other than that, she stayed in her old house. The Y/n Tommy knew was clinging onto the edge, praying he’d change his mind.
Tommy was too damn stubborn for his own good.
“Thomas. You have to apologize-”
“No, Pol. I don’t have to apologize nor admit that she’s right. You know why? Eh? Because she’s not. I will not have the woman I love get murdered in front of my own eyes, or at all. If Y/n is to die, I’d rather it be old age or peacefully in her sleep than by the son of the man who tried to kill her at our own wedding.”
He knew the mafia would make it harder to prevent deaths, which he’d learned from John, and Y/n would be shown no mercy by Luca, so he took his time, for once, to think about his options.
“See? She’s escaped death once, who’s to say she won’t laugh in his face again?” Polly scoffed at her nephew, walking out the door to visit Y/n like she’d been doing for the past few days.
Y/n needed company, and Polly was the perfect person for it. She made Y/n tea and helped her unwind, allowing her to know more of her past than her own family member did. Y/n ranted to Polly, about the things she missed and the things she didn’t. About the things that made her want to lash out and the things that made her want to cry with joy.
“How’s Tommy?” Y/n spoke through sniffles.
“Horrible, still a stubborn bastard. But lets not focus on his actions in the now. Instead, why don’t you think of the things you love...no, loved, about Tommy, more specifically, how he was before the paranoia caught up to him?”
“I mean, can you blame him? His brother was-”
Polly pursed her lips, hinting to Y/n that she was not in the best of moods to be discussing anything of John’s death. Y/n stopped, looking to Pol, waiting for her to continue. “Tell me, what did Tommy do to win you over?”
“He was... kind. And very caring.”
A small boy chased a smaller girl through the woods, their bare feet crunching the leaves under them, cold air nipping at their noses and uncovered parts of their skin.
“Tommy!”
The younger girl cried as she tripped over a branch in the path. Only nine, she was sure she’d fallen in love with the twelve year old boy. He’d been sure of the same thing as well.
“It’s okay, Y/n, I’ve got you!” He raced over, jumping skillfully over the wood and dropping to his knees. His hands reached for her leg, she hissed in pain and brought her leg back towards herself. “No, you have to let me see it if I’m to help.”
“Promise you won’t hurt it more?”
“I promise.” The boy smiled brightly up at the girl before inspecting her leg. When he discovered it was nothing major, he pressed a chaste kiss to her injury, then helped her up and onto his back.
“He knew just how to make me laugh..still does,” she chuckled quietly.
“Thomas! I can’t believe you did that!” The teen girl gasped at her admirer, his story being more amusing than he’d thought. It was a relief. “Polly must’ve been pissed!”
“She was. Told me to stop doing the impressions, that it was disrespectful. But John enjoys it, so Aunt Polly doesn’t have to know everything...” They stopped, Y/n put out her cigarette and pulled Tommy’s from his mouth, putting it out as well. “It’s um..raining.”
“I know.” Y/n smirked at the boy, biting her lip shyly before extending her hand, “May I have this dance?”
“Isn’t it the boy who asks the girl?” She rolled her eyes playfully, Thomas joining her in their laughter, “Fine fine, yes, you may. As long as I lead.”
“Can’t promise you anything, princess.”
Tommy gasped, feigning offence, “Oh you didn’t-”
“Oh but I did.” Her smile made his heartbeat rush, the blush on her face mirrored his, and the dinosaurs in their stomachs evolved into giants. Once butterflies, now giants, their teen crushes never hesitated to bring them closer.
They danced, Y/n’s dress sticking to her skin like Tommy’s dress-shirt. They’d came from the church, Tommy’s story about how he talked to John in the preacher’s voice, and their Sunday Bests were now soaked with the skies tears, which their melody came from.
“Y/n?” She nodded in response. “Lets run away. Together.” He dipped her, and then pulled her back up to see her reaction. A wild, even mischievous, smile rested on her lips before he leaned forward to join their grins in a rough kiss.
“Polly will kill us, you know?”
“Oh I don’t doubt that for a second.” He pulled away from her, twirling her with his hand and basking in her giggles, “So I suppose we should think of what our final words’ll be, huh?”
Lost but now I am found. I can see but once I was blind. I was so confused as a little child, Tried to take what I could get, Scared that I couldn't find; All the answers honey.
She winced, crying out in emotional pain as the priest slapped Tommy. Pol collected her nephew, but no one came for Y/n. She was going to give up, allow the church to take her wherever they planned, but the door opened again. Polly waited by it.
The older woman blinked in surprise as the teen wrapped her arms tightly around her waist. “T-thank you.”
“You’re very welcome dear. Now, come along, we mustn’t stall.”
Ever since that day, she’d been so bothered with the curiosity of what led Polly to help her. Even now, as an adult and married to a Shelby, she was confused. Polly was still helping her, even though she wasn’t on the best terms with Tommy.
“Why?” Pol looked up. “Why’d you help me that day? Did Tommy ask you too?”
Polly thought back, smiling and shaking her head. “No.”
“Then what made you help me?”
“Nothing, Y/n. I just... I just felt the need to help. Thomas had no say in the matter, as he believed your parents were coming. I believe I... I could see his love for you. The way he looked at you, the gleam in his eyes when someone brought you up, the pep in his step whenever he went where you were. Tom was happy, and that was important... especially when their mother passed.”
Y/n nodded, a single, yet still sad, tear rolling down her cheek.
“Tommy? what’s wrong?” The 18 year old boy crawled through her window, eyes red and puffy. He mumbled something of his mother dying after giving birth to the youngest, and the last, Shelby brother.
She felt her eyes well up with tears, knowing his pain and feeling the need to hold him close to her.
And she did. His head rested on her chest as they drifted into a peaceful slumber, waking up with tear-stained cheeks, tired eyes, and matching red hazes across their faces.
She fell asleep with him that night. And the next. And the next. And the next. He continued coming over, crying to her, sometimes with her. Despite them not confessing their feelings for one another yet, they knew full well how in love they both were, after all, they’d kissed before.
1908 was a wild year.
But it was also the year they finally vowed to be together. The sooner three more years had passed, the sooner she’d be with the man she loved. She smiled, stretching as much as she could with a sleeping Tommy on her. The sunlight danced across his sleeping face, allowing her to admire him and all his beauty.
The sleepy smile on his face too. It showed how happy he was.
That, or how much he enjoyed the feeling of her nails combing through his hair.
Either way, they were both happy.
“That’s why I helped.”
Don't make me sad, don't make me cry, Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough I don't know why. Keep making me laugh, Lets go get high. The road is long, we carry on, Try to have fun in the meantime.
Come take a walk on the wild side, Let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain, you like your girls insane, Choose your last words, this is the last time, Cause you and I, we were born to die. We were born to die We were born to die.
Come and take a walk on the wild side, Let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain, You like your girls insane~
Luca blinked, blood in his eyes, as Y/n walked through the door and raised her gun. Thomas’ eyes widened; he was expecting Arthur, not his wife to push past him. And he certainly wasn’t expecting Arthur to just stand there, doing nothing to stop her.
She smirked at the Italian before shooting him, the bullet passing through his head and hitting the barrel behind him. She didn’t so much as flinch as the gunshot rang throughout the building.
Changretta’s body hit the floor with a loud thud, splashing sounds following. Gin poured from the hole in it’s barrel, but no one cared.
They were too focused on Tommy’s wife, who was tucking her gun away.
The woman looked at Tommy, a sigh of relief, possibly from the fact that he was still alive, escaped her mouth. She turned and left without saying anything.
He let out a shaky breath, speaking with pants every now and the,. “Tell your people in Chicago, that Michael Gray will sign the import licence to New York. 300 barrels of English dry gin a month.”
“Leave. All of ya. Tell your boss what you saw here today. Tell him...you don’t fuck with the Peaky Blinders.” Arthur stepped aside once the men had left. “And uh brother? I believe you have your own business to attend to?”
“What?”
Polly flicked Tommy’s ear with a shocked expression. It was not from Y/n killing Luca, though she did feel proud of the girl, but from Tommy’s stubborn dumbassery. “Quit being such a stubborn bastard and go after her, idiot!”
“Right-” He swallowed before nodding and rushing out of the building.
Don't make me sad, don't make me cry, Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough I don't know why. Keep making me laugh, Lets go get high, The road is long, we carry on, Try to have fun in the meantime.
Come take a walk on the wild side, Let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain, You like your girls insane. Choose your last words, this is the last time, Cause you and I, we were born to die.
The slam of the door caused Y/n to stop and turn around.
“What do you wa-” She started, only for her to be grabbed by the back of her neck and pulled into a kiss. Their lips fit together perfectly, dancing before separating for the horribly-timed human need of oxygen.
“You’re right. I’m sorry. I should’ve listened to you-” Y/n cut him off, pulling him down by the lapels of his jacket. The rain began to pour, dousing the couple in a familiar melody. She pulled away, grinning widely. “Oh.. it’s raining. Should we head back ins-”
“I know.” She extended her arm to her husband, her action and interruption catching him by surprise. “May I have this dance?”

Kismet (Crashing Into You): Part (1/2)
Hey guys! Long time no see, huh? Finally, finally my secret santa piece is here, very much delayed because of technical problems and writer’s block and my computer breaking. I have to say, this is not my finest writing, but i think i’m happy with how it turned out. Thanks to @nightcourthighlordrhysand and @bookocd for helping me with this one.
This is a gift for @a-court-of-stydia. I’m sorry it’s so late Beth, I hope you like it!
No one came to visit her.
Rhysand was having a very bad day—one that would go down in infamy. First, he'd gone to jog early that morning and it'd started raining. Normally, he wouldn't mind a little rain. But today—today he didn't want to have to take the walk back to his place, because running in the rain was way too dangerous in the streets of Nocte and the sidewalks were as slippery as ice itself this time of year.
And then, he'd gotten into his car.
The roads were icy and unstable, and Rhys felt too tired to drive in that kind weather. Why couldn't everything—or just anything—work in his favor for once?
The first flakes of snow started falling and he growled a bit, irritation building. He turned the corner sharply and stopped at a red light. He didn't, however, see the two people running toward the street on the other side. Didn't realize it as the light turned green and he speeded up and crossed the intersection.
Rhysand definitely felt it when the woman's body collided with his car, though.
He looked around, shocked and confused and so, so scared, and instead of comfort, instead of soothing sights, he saw him. Tamlin fucking Primavera. White as a sheet, slowing down to a stop, hands spearing through his blonde hair—and then, he just turned around and took off running.
He hadn't thought much about that—that pitiful excuse for a man always was a sniveling coward. And he'd had apparently had his hands full with the girl. The girl Rhysand had managed to get rushed to the hospital in a still-distressed haze of flashing lights and medical jargon he barely understood.
Gods, how bad does a morning have to be for you to wake up dreading work and end up at Nocte's Medical Center with a girl you barely knew put into bedrest because of you? And no one had come to visit her.
He hadn't thought much of it at first, but then an hour passed. Then another. Then another. And still the girl lay there with no one to comfort or talk her through what must've been a very painful experience. And as much as he didn't want to, as much as it pained him—because he was the one that had made her feel that way—, he had to go in. He had to talk to her. See if she was still in one piece at least.
The only thing Rhysand didn't know was if he would be in one piece after.
---
He knocked on the open door.
“May I come in?”
She was starring at the wall, transfixed by some point in the boring white coat of paint, as if she could see something he could not. And in those eyes—those clear, blue eyes—were so much... living. Or something akin to that. Like great iron hands that were suffocating the light until only a thread was sparking, silver and shiny. And for some reason, the thing he wanted the most, the thing he wished with all his might, was to bring the light back into those eyes. To make them filled with that.
So Rhysand gave her a little smile—just because he wasn't sure smirking was appropriate. The girl looked away, a bit of a blush coming on her cheeks, saying, “Um, sure,” and gesturing for him to come in.
He came in, standing awkwardly for a moment before moving again, unsure of himself now. Unsure of what to say and what to do in this situation. At the scene—where it had happened—they'd told him she'd ran toward the streets, so it wasn't technically his fault. But he should've seen it. Should've been paying more attention. And now he needed to say that to her. To apologize. And to help in any way that he could.
He sat down at the only chair in the room, probably meant for a doctor, and it was uncomfortable as hell. He concentrated on that for a moment, on the metal of the chair rubbing against the leather, and the squeakiness of it all, and how the edges poked at his ass. As if the physical feeling could wipe away the emotional one, the one hanging in the room for every second he stayed silent.
“I'm sorry, am I in some kind of trouble or—?” she began.
His eyes went wide for a second and then he said, “No, no!” he gestured with his hands to make his point even further and she had to bite back a little laugh. “Sorry,” he continued, leaning back towards the chair again. “I'm Rhysand. Um, just—Rhys.”
“Well, just Rhys, I don't mean to be rude to anything,” she was definitely smiling now. And the eyes. He'd been right, there was light in there. It was just—trapped. Like a bird in a cage. “But what exactly are you doing here?”
In twenty-eight years of living and women and pleasure, Rhysand had never been so anxious as he was in that moment. “I—” he ran a shaking hand through his hair, taking a deep breath. “I really don't know how to say this or how to begin to apologize—”
“Oh,” understanding poured into those lifeless, long-lived eyes, and she shifted in bed, biting her split lip not to make any noises from the pain of the movement. “You're the one that hit me, aren't you?”
He just nodded, uncaring of the consequences, even if they were losing her—this stranger who he could read like an open book. Because it meant that she did whatever was best for her at the moment.
Instead, she said, “It wasn't your fault. I'm the one that needs to apologize,” she choked on the last word, like her body was rejecting it, afraid of it. Maybe it'd been kicked around by it too many times. The Mother knew he'd seen how mitigation by way of forgiving too quickly could ruin one's soul, and how after, once you began apologizing for everything and anything, your heart grew tired. And Gods, she looked so, so tired of it all.
So, instead of letting her say another word, he smirked, big and cocky as always, and said, “Let's just agree to disagree. Though I have to say, you do look smashing with that black eye, darling,”
She raised an eyebrow at the pet name, but he thought he saw a ghost of a smile on her face as she said, “Well, you should see me when I'm not running into some rich dude's BMW.”
---
“Here you go.” Rhysand said, giving the scalding hot coffee to the girl. “Be careful, it's hot.”
“Thanks.” she nodded and sipped the drink, moaning at the taste. The sound seemed wicked to Rhysand's ears, sensual. He wanted to hear it forever. He drank in the wake of the little smile she gave him—small, but still there. And gave a dazzling one of his own.
“So, do I get to know your name?” he asked, smirking at her.
“Well, it depends,” she answered, biting her lip to keep from laughing at his face. He lifted an eyebrow. “Why are you here?”
“I told you—”
“You told me that you ran me over, yes,” she said, not unkindly. “But why would you come here and stay with me in the hospital?”
Rhysand frowned. “Because it was the right thing to do,” he answered. “Because you deserved an apology and then because nobody came—”
“So you're here because you pity me?” she said sharply. Her face was a mess of expressions, sadness and anger and sorrow and pain, all mushed together by a great force. It made his own heart spin in and finally stop beating with cold, dead determination. That he would fix this, or at least try to make the best out of this terrible situation. Because this stranger, this beautiful, broken stranger, needed him, and it was not pity, it was not some thought of playing God that made him want to change anything. It was the simple fact that that had once been him.
“No.” he finally said. “No, I don't pity you, darling. In fact, I don't think it would be wise to pity the woman who ran into my car and lived to tell the tale.” The joke came out easier than he thought it would, but still she did not laugh. Her face was set in trying to read him, trying to figure him out. “I just think that if nobody else is going to come, I'll be here for you as you get back to health. After all, it's my fault that you're here in the first place.”
She was still scanning him with those smart eyes, biting her slip lip in a way that made him want to kiss her—and he realized how inappropriate that was and shoved that feeling down down down. She looked all over his face, memorizing it with her eyes, and then said, “I'm Feyre.”
He smiled, charming and inviting, just enough for her to roll her eyes at him, and said, “Nice to meet you, Feyre, darling.”
---
“I hate hospital food,” she said, as she gobbled up a bit of potato salad.
Rhysand laughed, unwrapping his own turkey sandwich—machine bought—and smiling at her. She didn't share much about herself in the time he had spent with her—a day, two hours, thirty three minutes... not that he was counting—, but the little bits of information, the small stuff, filled him with warmth and a set determination that he would find out more, that he would get to know this girl. Because now, she was not just some girl he'd put in the hospital—she was a kind of friend. Someone he cared for, in some way.
“At least it's not airplane food. That's always the worst,” he said, biting his sandwich and making a face at the funny taste of it. “And you need it, to get stronger, Feyre, darling,”
She scrunched up her nose at him, “I can still hate it, though,” she said, “And can I just ask, what is it with the darling?”
Rhysand laughed. “I have that word reserved for you, darling,” he said, crossing his ankles and looking at her with such an intensity that she looked away, blushing once again. “You just have one of those faces...”
“What—bloody and scratched up?”
“Beautiful.” He grabbed her hand, interlacing their fingers as if they were long time friends, as if he could, as he just now dared to. Feyre's face turned red as a tomato as she gaped at him, not knowing what to say, not knowing what to do with that word and all it could mean.
Rhysand kept gazing into her eyes—those deep, blue eyes that seem to know everything and lived with the weight of it all. This time, she looked back, losing herself in his violet orbs, still looking for pity or doubt or something that would explain why he was here, still waiting for the other shoe to drop.
A knock came from the door. “Feyre Archeron?” a nurse said, looking up from a clipboard. “You have a visitor.”
Rhysand smiled—finally, someone had come to see her, someone had cared. This was good, so good. But then, why wasn't she smiling?
He'd expected her to tell him to wait outside or to leave or something like that, but instead she squeezed his hand so hard it hurt, panic in her eyes. Stay, they seemed to say.
He squeezed her hand back, a sign of reassurance. I'm here.
And then, her visitor came in. Blonde hair in a ponytail, hands in pockets, and his face set in that arrogant mask that Rhysand despised so much. What the hell was he doing here?
Tamlin was looking at Feyre with a desperate look in his eyes, something like regret embedded deep within his face. His eyes searched her, seeming to make sure she was still in one piece. But then they dropped to her hand, still intertwined with Rhys' own, and something in his face changed. A fury, deeper than any Rhys had ever known, bloomed in between those eyes as the other man took him in, seated by her bed, holding her hand and smiling, frozen in place.
“You,” he began, voice full of fire and storm. “What are you doing here—”
“That's just what I was going to ask you, Tamlin,” Feyre cleared her throat, voice shaking.
The blonde man looked at her again. His eyes had been fixed on Rhys this whole time, like he'd forgotten all about her, like she was just another one of his belongings and he was putting her back onto a shelf, never to be touched by anyone else again. He crossed the room, going over to her, and she backed away as best she could, groaning at the effort. “I came to see you, of course.”
She didn't say anything, didn't want to dignify that with an answer, but Rhys could see how uncomfortable he was making her, how afraid. Tamlin needed to leave, now. “I don't think she wants to seeyou, mate.”
Tamlin's eyes shot to him sharply, in fury at his words, and said, “I think she should be able to speak on her own.”
“No, he's right,” Feyre said. “Please, Tamlin, I—”
“Feyre,” he interrupted, eyes finally moving to her again, desperate and wide, and he touched a hand to her shoulder. She flinched at the action, clearly uncomfortable, and so—sad. So infinitely sad. “We need to talk—”
“We're over,” she said firmly, taking his hand off her shoulder. “There's nothing to talk about.”
“Please.”
“No.” Feyre looked at him sharply, locking him in place, and squeezed Rhys' hand again, for strength perhaps—or maybe just a reassurance that she was okay now. That she could handle this. “You need to leave.”
“Feyre—”
“Now.” She looked away, the whole thing too much for her and Rhys finally decided it was his place to say something. The whole scene had seemed so private, so intimate and uncomfortable, that he had just frozen—stared and let her defend herself. And maybe that was good—she needed to do that, and stick up for the person she was, whatever the deal was between the two of them. But everything in him screamed at him to help and now—now he had to.
“Give me a chance, Feyre, I can make this right—” Tamlin tried again.
“The lady said to leave, Tamlin,” Rhysand said looking at him firmly. He got up, forgetting about his hand, still intertwined with Feyre's, and she flinched as he pulled at it. Tamlin's eyes shot to it and a rage—like a big red wave—filled them. He started to say something, but Rhys let go of his friend's hand and moved forward, ushering the man out of the room.
“You'll have to talk to me some time, Feyre.” Tamlin said finally, walking out. “I'll be back.”
Rhysand closed the door in his face before Feyre could even answer. He turned to her, a look of pure confusion and concern. “What the hell was that?”

Thoughts on 6A finale
My thoughts about the finale: # The train thing: Uhmm, okay. I mean, the idea itself is okay. Strange, but okay. What did the GR do before trains were invented? But well I can deal with strange ideas and I stopped to think about logic and plot hole in Teen Wolf, I learned to just enjoy the action and seeing all the characters in funny/strange/extraordinary situations. But still, I would have preferred if they met someone, maybe a banshee who told them this train thing. This solution with diverting the train came out of the blue and it felt rushed. # Mr Douglas: Well, it's always nice to see a nazi meeting a well-deserved end. To see him transformed into a GR was nice. But the fighting scenes and this awful german, commanding the GR around was awful. It reminded me of the finales of 3A and 4: Let's make a fighting duel between Scott and the villain who was supposed to be super-strong, being a super-dangerous alpha for DECADES but then losing it against a teenager who is an alpha since... two years? Come on! # Claudia: for me the worst, most unnecessary scenes of all. I liked how Stilinski exorcised Claudia by getting back his memories. That was a fine end for this theme! Why this awful choking out and Lydia/Stilinski scene? Just so Lydia can save Stiles? # Peter: I liked him in S6A. He was a bit shoved around, if someone gets a kick in the ass, then it was Peter. Burnt, taken by the GR twice, catatonic... I don't even ask why he was this way. But it was nice to see him again and his care for Malia is cute. Looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops. # Liam/Theo: I love their chemistry and I love that they bring back some humour and action into the show. I love this big brother (Theo) - little brother (Liam) kind of relationship. Episode 6.9 was really hard to watch - all this crying, recycling of old scenes, pseudo-symbolism - gah! Theo and Liam were a breath of fresh air in all this infinite "remember Stiles remember Stiles remember Stiles" (loop) stuff I had to go through the whole season. They were entertaining and for me, it brought back this sense of action and entertainment I was missing when I had to look into Lydia's big crying eyes whispering "remember" the whole season. And yes, I wanna see how the outsider Theo fits in in the future and I’m so looking forward to his storyline. # Stydia: I was fine with Stydia until I got to know the hardcore Stydia shippers and until MTV pushed it so much. This overwhelming amount and constant baiting with "Stydia rises" and baiting the audience with Stiles in general completely spoiled this relationship for me. This crush of Stiles on Lydia in the first seasons was cute and I loved it. But for me, Stydia died in S3 and when the characters developed further in S4 and S5 it stayed dead. Now it feels to me like a Zombie walking the show and they made it the main plot of a whole season. The fact that DOB won't even be much in 6B makes it kind of even more ridiculous to me. It's too late for Stydia, They should have done it in S3, I would have loved it then. MTV posting a pic of Lydia staring into the rift: "The moment all our hearts were broken." Nope. I really hope they bring back the tough, strong, independent Lydia now that Stiles is gone. # Chris and Melissa: I'm still not sure if I found this shootout scene with the GR ridiculous or funny. The ship itself is fine for me. Though it must be a bit strange for Scott, considering that Chris is Allison's dad... # Stiles leaving: To me, knowing that DOB's days in TW are over before watching the season, I didn't care much about the character anymore, to be honest. He was like a Ghost for me, a shadow of Teen Wolf's past like Jackson, Isaac, Derek, Danny. The reunion left me cold for some reason, maybe because I knew it's just this one scene and then Sciles is gone forever. Sciles was strongest in S1 and S2, after that it was kind of messy and after S3/4 I felt like it's broken anyway. After the second season that was all about Stiles Stiles Stiles and MTV milking every last drop of DOB's popularity can we please focus on Scott now? Thanks. For 6B I want some strong development for Scott, strong Lydia again, see where Malia and Peter are going and some entertaining, good old Teen Wolf feeling with humour and silly scenes - but this time, to have a wave of fresh air, with the pack 2.0. Yes, it's an unpopular opinion, but after six seasons of seeing Lydia crying, Scott losing and Stiles insulting people I'm looking forward to new, fresh faces around my new dream team Liam and Theo.

Teen Wolf 6x09- “Memory Found” - Observations And Predictions
(Clever title Teen Wolf)
Hello my dudes, welcome to meta night! I cannot tell you how glad I am that this episode had alot of filler in it and gave a bit of a break from the really heavy meta, most of what we have tonight is very charector-centric, not so much mythology, I'm glad for that because I know next week will give us more- ALOT more, a ton more even-  because it's the season finale' (for 6A atleast) and there's always alot of stuff to talk about for that reason alone, so we get a nice calm before the storm here, plus, as with most Tuesday nights, I'm recovering from a headache (I swear it isn't the meta, I have some kind of food allergy that keeps getting me because I usually bring food home on Tuesdays and I haven't yet distinguished exactly what's triggering me so I keep ending up afflicting myself :| ) so the fact that this one ISN'T going to keep me up until eight in the morning (I hope) is a very welcome change, and because I don't want this stretching out for six hours, let's get to it shall we?
You know, from a completely personal standpoint, I always get a little excited to see hypnossis in media, especially in places like Teen Wolf where it's handled pretty well, ofcourse when I went through MY hypnotic regressions I always got a comfy chair rather than a dangerous, freezing ice box... *cough*
Ok, who else noticed the sheriff's sudden intuition? He says "I'll consider asking Theo for help when I don't have a station full of armed deputies to back me up" and then IMMEDIATELY opens the doors to the station and finds every single deputy gone, that is some Stiles level intuitive work right there, we had talked last week about the sheriff being Something- the same Something that Stiles is- with how much strength he had to summon Claudia, now that she's no longer around to suppress him, his powers are flourishing, plus remember that Stiles' power relies on BELEIF, the sheriff himself is finally relying on that beleif too (in Stiles, he's finally believing and even stronger than that he's believing in the believer) wich has caused an obvious surge in his intuition- a really HUGE surge at that, from the description to the timing, everything about this is SCREAMING "Stiles", the only question is, how much of this is Stiles' power being influenced through the sheriff, and how much is the sheriff drawing on his own power?
Speaking of awesome sheriff stuff, the tease of Theo and that key card is the best thing I've seen in EONS!! I was teasingly telling my mom throughout the entire thing that the sheriff should make Theo dance before letting him out (a fun game we like to play on my dad when he gets locked out of the house) but forcing him to talk about Stiles was ///EVEN. BETTER.//// And we obviously see where Stiles gets those wits, I'm glad he tested Theo first, even moreso because he was such a tease about it~
As sad as I am that the sheriff got poofed early in the episode (because it would have been pretty great to see him actually in action against the riders with Theo and Liam for atleast more than five minutes) atleast he, hopefully, is with Stiles now, and that should make them both feel better
Liam and Theo having car trouble... sounds suspiciously similar to the issues Stiles usually has, and sure enough, when their conflict starts to resolve the car trouble does too...
Ok so I'm just going to be honest here, I find it odd that Scott's FIRST memory of Stiles is, of all things, one of the only times Stiles has ever called him out on anything- and, possibly, the FIRST time he's ever called him out on anything (and I mean a real call-out, not a "Dude you suck at math oh my God" kind of a thing) why is that? Of all the memories, all of the GREAT memories, why was Scott only remembering the bad ones until Lydia gave him direction? And why would that one be first? If he was going to have a bad Stiles memory first, why THAT one instead of him abandoning Stiles in the rain or Stiles shoving him in the hospital? Why that one specifically? The pessimist in me says it's Stydia related but that feels wrong too, there were plenty of other moments where there was clear Stydia wile also being related to Sciles- and even BAD moments like that, it just seemed like a really odd choice... and the thing with Scott remembering only the bad things first is a double-sided coin, on the one hand that's GOOD because he's getting a splash of cold water in the face about their relationship, a reflection from a very fresh point of veiw on things, one of those "You don't notice until it's gone" moments where he's seeing in his reflection of their time together just how *MUCH* Stiles reached for him in their relationship, Scott has always occupied the relationship high ground in that he's really very confident in his relationship with Stiles, Stiles could go off to Japan for three weeks and come back with a girlfreind and a billion dollars and Scott wouldn't have a moment of hesitation in reasserting himself as "The Best Freind" and feeling comfortable that Stiles still thought of him that way, Stiles, however, could never do that, if Scott went off to Little Japan in Ebcott for three hours and came back with a snowcone and three dollars he found on the sidewalk Stiles would still be timid about where he stands, reaching desperately for reassurance that nothing had changed, and these are exaggerations yes but they're not really far off, everytime we see Scott move in a direction away from Stiles in the series, we see Stiles scramble after him and reach as hard as he can to keep a hold on Scott so he doesn't get left behind, whereas Scott offers very limited reassurance throughout the series, whereas Stiles, on the other hand, can move three paces away from Scott and Scott not even notice it, he rarely needs reassurance but Stiles is always very quick to give it to him anyway, I think Scott is finally seeing that- especially with the reiteration of the Motel California scene (ugh my heart)- and that's FANTASTIC, it's a really great way to give us a nod to them closing the gap between their respective personal grounds in the relationship, on the other hand though (finally) I have the sneaking suspicion that if the roles were reversed Stiles' memories would start off with Scott's Greatest Hits, all of the BEST moments between them where Stiles felt closest to Scott, and it just.... confuses the hell out of me why Scott would go *completely to the negative* right up until Lydia actually instructs him to go for the positive- and even when he DOES what counts as "positive" isn't a happy memory t all, it's a necessary one, but there's no summoning a patronus from it, that's for sure
Speaking of positive Sciles however, Stiles was looking for a place for them to live together after graduation, BE. STILL. MY. HEART. Fun fact, before I actually got into Sterek I borderline shipped Sciles because- even though I OTP'd Stydia back then-  I thought if they were going to put Stiles with a guy it would be Scott hands down, so these little moments sort of make me really freaking happy, although I think this is news for Scott, I don't really know why but I got the vibe that he hadn't really been *helping* Stiles for that apartment search- or hadn't even known about it, possibly, and ofcourse as PRECIOUS as this entire thing is it does raise a few meta questions, mostly what Stiles plans on *doing* after highschool, because the way we left it in season five I thought he had grown past his Plan of "Everyone has to stick together no matter what and I'm going to punch my own brain to make it work", I thought he had found some resolution in that and settled with the idea that they could still all be close with eachother without being, you know, physically close with eachother, and it seemed to me like Scott's college of choice was one of the major kinks in Stiles' plan, did he decide to just roll with Scott and let there be more distance between them and the girls? Does he plan on following Scott to college? What about what his dad said with law enforcement? Is he going to do that or no? (I don't know how colleges work at all- and I honestly don't *care* either- but vet school and law school/the police academy are two different things right? Isn't Scott going to a vet school right away?) Are they actually going to live in/closer to Beacon Hills? Is Stiles going to live with Scott but still do his own thing career wise? That would be my first choice in how that plays out honestly, but then I'm shamelessly //severely picky// about my ideas for what Stiles does after highschool in terms of where he lives, his career, his romantic life... *cough* so I'm starting to sink more into fanon than meta so I'm gonna stop, but seriously though, on a meta standpoint, I'd like to know what his plan is for this, because I felt like there was alot of development in season five with him letting go of his Plan/letting go of his desperation to be near Scott and going his own way, so if I find out that that isn't actually true and he's just following Scott to school I'm actually going to be really sad about it, I had hoped Stiles had grown out of that- although he may have been pushed back in a little by the "Welcome to law enforcement" thing, wich I STILL think was more of a curse than a blesssing- so I'm just hoping that he's planning to live with Scott somewhere near enough to Scott's school and near enough to whatever Stiles is doing so that there's still a degree of seperation for him, there's still the maturity of letting go of his need to be glued to Scott's hip wile being able to say "We CAN live together and I WANT to live together so we should", there's a biiiiig difference between ///that/// and what Stiles was alluding to in 5x01, I guess the good thing is that he said an apartment, not a dorm, if they were sharing the same school they'd probably get a dorm right? Those have to be cheaper than apartments? (Again I wouldn't know so I'm shooting blind here) But I'm going to leave it for now because I could turn this into fanfic way too easily
*mutters quietly under my breath* I still hate Theo ok? I just feel like it's important that I say that
I also feel like it's important for me to point out that it gives me a personal shot of happiness that they actually mentioned the stairwell visualization because I'm not sure if that's the most common thing in hypnosis or what but that's always how my sessions started out so yay
My mom: "I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say it, there's something oddly attractive about them (the riders), if you block out the face" It isn't meta but I found it important anyway
What was the title of Malia's first memory book? The best I could see was that I thought it had "Wolffe" written on it but I could be mistaken
I do wonder why Scott's memory didn't do anything at all and I think it's just because they wasted so much time getting the formula right that he didn't have time for it to do anything, because if both Lydia and Malia triggered *something* and Scott got dead air just because Stiles is least important to him out of the three or some nonsense like that... then that really does suck, and I don't mean in a way of it sucks for Scott, I mean as a fan of the show it really sucks that Stiles' BROTHER couldn't conjure so much as a tremor when Malia and Lydia could, I know they want to push Stalia and Stydia (especially Stydia) but if you're honestly telling me that Scott's connection to Stiles is less than their's I'm very much done, I may not always agree with how Scott treats Stiles, and I think it's very clear that Stiles is the one who always clings to Scott rather than the other way around, and yes, Scott does take his sweet, sweet time //noticing things// but... none of that negates the fact that their relationship has been immensely close since before the series even started, even if it IS largely Stiles -> Scott, I refuse to believe that Scott's most emotional memory of Stiles was so weak in his heart that it did nothing, so I'm really hoping it's just because they spent so much time screwing around with the formula that it didn't have time to work
Real hypnosis, I'm here for that
I love Scott's little "You smoked when you were ten?" line, harkens back to "My mom does all the grocery shopping", but I also found it interesting that Lydia went to a hypnotist back then, it's very odd, Natalie I-Don't-Like-Anything-Not-Purely-Scientific Martin not only went to a hypnotist for herself, but for her daughter? And over a little thing like chewing her nails? Hypno-therapy is really expensive and is something that you usually require boosters for, it isn't a once-and-done thing, for her to go to that length... either Lydia's nail biting was REALLY bad, wich, to be fair, I can see.... or she only TOLD Lydia she went there for nail biting, after all, hypno-therapy may be mostly used for bringing back forgotten memories, but that doesn't mean it can't be used for forgetting unwanted memories, in theory atleast, maybe that memory she suppressed of her grandmother in Eichen was suppressed due to hypnotherapy, or maybe Lydia saw something ELSE back then that her mother wanted to hide... I'm getting a very Clary Fairchild vibe here....
So shooting the Riders with their own guns DOES, in fact, kill them.... and yet neither Liam nor Theo thought to pick up the guns and take them with them...? Did either of them even pay attention to the fact that these unkillable hunters were, you know, DEAD? I can understand Liam but I really did expect more out of Theo here
Other than that I'm so excited for Stiles next week!!! He gets his bat back <3 <3 <3
Also, if you haven't heard via Melissa Ponzio, Teen Wolf started filming again yesterday, last I heard they had filmed episode four before doing 6x10 and then going on winter break, so they should be picking up at episode five right now, unfortunately, we don't know anything else besides that- and even that's guess work, they might be shooting out of order to use Dylan as much as they can before he goes back to Maze Runner next month, we don't know if he's filming right now but there's nothing to say he isn't, and they might very well be trying to milk him for all he's worth and just shooting all of his scenes in the next two or three weeks until he has to go back to TMR, sadly, we don't know
