HATE YOU, LOVE YOU. aonung x fem! r
[ full masterlist ]
IN WHICH... Aonung has no future mate; as a last resort, he is set to marry the eldest Sully daughter. The only problem is that their hatred for each other runs deep.
Notes: Omatikaya! Sully! Reader, somewhat enemies to lovers (I tried), swearing, age isn’t mentioned but aonung + you are like mid/late teens, no use of y/n, oldest sister (same age as aonung but kiri and tuk and maybe lo’ak are younger than you), one bed trope, arranged marriage
—

You didn't like Aonung from the start. He was rude, egotistical, and overall an entirely unpleasant person to be around.
He could say the same about you. He had always had it out for you from day one. The moment you arrived with your family, Aonung had disliked you the most out of the bunch.
He always found Kiri strange and Lo’ak and Neteyam insufferable but you were the bane of his existence. He almost despised you. The way you walked, talked, and acted released an anger inside of him that felt foreign.
He watched as you strutted around in beautifully beaded loincloths, smiling at the boys who stumbled past you with awestruck expressions. They loved you, he did not.
"Are you sure it's not just jealousy?" Roxto uttered as Aonung's ears folded back at the mere sight of you.
Aonung scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Me? Jealous of her? No way." He scrunched up his nose. "She's a stupid tree hugger." Roxto's eyes darted from Aonung to stare at you. You were sending Aonung an angry glare after accidentally overhearing him.
"A tree hugger, Aonung? At least I don't accidentally swallow sea water every five minutes." You hissed, your thin tail swishing in fury. Aonung returned your glower. "Don't forget how I can easily beat you to a pulp."
Aonung especially hated how you always picked fights. You were nothing like Kiri and Neteyam, who were calm and tried to avoid conflict for their own good. Aonung theorised Lo'ak got his fighting spirit from you. Yet, as shameful as it was to admit, Aonung also knew you could and would beat him in every brawl. Your sharp tongue and quick reflexes always managed to cut him down to size every time.
You lifted a brow as you watched Aonung flex his hands to suppress his frustration at your words.
"You talk like a big boy, but we both know how that'll end." You poke his exposed chest, ears flicking in annoyance. You tilted your head, almost daring him to make another move.
He clenched his jaw, tongue running over his teeth. He knew he should have walked off the moment you approached him, but he didn't. He was regretting it now. You had a spark in your eyes, a telltale sign of you preparing to beat him into the ground.
"Is that a threat, skxawng?" Aonung stepped closer, staring down at you.
"Yeah, you scared?" You retorted with a smirk as your tail flicked in amusement.
Aonung sneered at you. The sight of your lips curved into a smirk did something to him. His pulse quickened, and he couldn't tell if it was because you made him angry or because your pretty face was so close to his.
"As if." Aonung jeered, quickly turning around. You watched him leave, disappointed he hadn't put up a bigger fight. Arguing with Aonung and seeing his shocked face at your quick insults were the highlight of your day.
“Y/N!” You heard Kiri call out for you. You glanced over your shoulder, waving at your sister. “Father is looking for you. I think it’s urgent.” You sighed, ears flopping.
“Coming.” You slowly drawled. The warm sand shifted under your feet as you turned. You fell into step with its Kiri, feeling her curious gaze burn into you.
“What were you two arguing about this time?” Kiri questioned. She could tell by the aggravated look on your face that you had recently spoken to Aonung.
“He’s an idiot.” You muttered, baring your fangs, “I don’t know how anyone can stand him.”
Kiri hummed, her lips curving into a teasing smile. “And yet you always find a way to talk to him.” You shot her a glare in response.
You saw your father, Jake Sully, standing at the entrance of your family pod, pacing back and forth. He lifted his head, looking a little more relieved to see you.
“Father.” You greeted him, looking around curiously. Your mother, Neytiri, stood in the corner of the pod but there was no sign of your two brothers and Tuk. You tilted your head.
“Good luck.” Kiri whispered in your ear. You whipped your head to face her, eyes wide.
“What?” You whispered, panic growing in your chest. Why was Kiri wishing you luck? Had you done something to anger your parents? They had grown used to your squabbles with Aonung to the point where they looked past it.
But you had not punched him, not gotten into any impulsive fights, or caused any trouble. So what could you have possible done?
Your racing thoughts were cut short when Tonowari cleared his throat. Your gaze shifted from him to his wife, Ronal, who stood beside him with her usual calm demeanour. It was Aonung, however, who caught your attention. He stood on the sidelines, equally as confused. Your lips immediately curled into an unimpressed sneer. He mirrored your look, folding his arms over his chest.
The silent exchange of glares were your normal routine now.
Tonowari clearing his throat snapped the two of you back to reality. He shared a brief look with Jake before ushering both you and his son inside the pod. Jake, Neytiri, and Ronal all stood in front of you while Tonowari remained behind, ensuring neither you nor Aonung had the faintest idea of making a run for it.
You and Aonung stood side by side, shoulders brushing. You would have immediately stepped away if it wasn’t for Tonowari keeping you firmly in place. His hand finally slipped off your shoulder as he walked to join Jake, Neytiri, and his mate.
You watched the four of them carefully, eyes narrowed.
“Aonung.” Tonowari addressed his son first, “You have yet to find a mate.” You turned your head to suppress your snickers.
“I don’t think he ever will.” You uttered, rolling your eyes. “And I don’t think I can help with whatever… love problems he’s dealing with.”
“Hush, daughter.” Neytiri snapped, “This is no joking matter.” Your ears straightened up at her harsh tone. She rarely ever spoke to you like that.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Aonung lower his head to hide his mocking grin. Though, he received the same treatment.
“Do not smile, Aonung!” Ronal exclaimed.
You and Aonung locked eyes, wondering what you both had done to end up here. Your tail nervously swished and it took immense control to still it.
“We have been discovering this matter for weeks now. Jake Sully has made it clear that he has no intention of leaving so suddenly.” Tonowari finally spoke up again. “This decision has been carefully considered and, as a last resort, we must take it.”
Your stomach dropped as Tonowari’s gaze landed on you. It quickly flickered to Aonung, who immediately stiffened.
“Y/N.” Jake stepped forward. You tensed, feeling lightheaded all of a sudden. Your father’s expression was firm and you could tell he wasn’t exactly thrilled about the decision Tonowari was referring to. “Your mother and I have discussed it at lengths and we do not want to pressure you into such things but it must be done. For the good of both the Metkayina clan and our family, we have agreed that you two will become a mated pair.”
Your ears loudly ring as your heart almost came to a stop. You and Aonung? A mated pair? You could barely stand being in a five metre radius of each other. How could you be expected to share such proximity?
“Him?!” You exclaimed, pointing a finger at Aonung. “Could you not have chosen anybody else?!”
“Father, Mother, I cannot marry this tree hugger! She will kill me in my sleep!” Aonung shoved you away.
“You will learn to get along.” Ronal’s calm voice pierced the chaos.
“But I hate him!” You shouted, ears pinning against your head.
“And I hate her!” Aonung added, his eyes pleading for his parents to reconsider their choice.
“And that’s the way it’s meant to be!” You both screamed in unison.
Jake raised an eyebrow. “Well, based on that little in-sync thing you two have going on, you should get along just fine.”
Ronal shooed the two of you away so they could discuss private matters. You gladly left, relieved to be free of the suffocating atmosphere.
“This is all your fault.” Aonung hissed as he passed you. You loudly scoffed, reaching out a hand to tug on his tail.
“My fault? It’s your fault that you don’t have a mate! Now I have to consider a future with you of all people!” You pushed him aside, your slim tail slapping his leg to prove your point.
“Well, maybe if you didn’t fool my family into thinking you’re some kind of prissy princess then we wouldn’t be in this situation!” Aonung fired back.
“Oh, look at you. Using big words now. As if you’re any better. You treat other girls decently but when it comes to you, you look like you wanna drown me!”
You heard a quiet hiss slip past Aonung’s slips. “That’s putting it kindly. The things I’d actually do to you are much worse.”
You paused, looking over your shoulder with a disgusted face. Aonung immediately realized his mistake. “That sounded a little more sexual than I intended.” He muttered, “But you get my point!”
“I don’t speak buffoon, sorry.”
“Did you know about this?” He grasped your wrist, pulling you back. You groaned, turning so fast your braided hair almost hit you in the face.
“You think I’d be this angry if I knew? If I knew about the arrangement, I would have been long gone before they announced it to us! Now let go.” You attempted to pry your arm from out of Aonung’s grip but he didn’t falter. “I said let go, jerk!” Out of instinct, you slapped his face. Hard.
His grasp loosened and you were able to free your arm. “Weirdo.” You whispered under your breath as you stormed away. You let Aonung a fuming mess as he held a hand over his cheek. It was turning red from your harsh slap.
Aonung bared his teeth. You had slapped him. Out of everybody you could’ve have hit, you chose him. He watched your retreating figure, teeth clenched out of annoyance yet a blush still spread over his cheeks.
You made the mistake of telling Tsireya after not being able to find Kiri to confide in. Tsireya then told her Metkayina friends who shamelessly spread the gossip. After that, the word of your betrothal spread quickly. Aonung barely had time to return to his own friends before they patted him on the back and laughed.
“You tamed the wild Sully girl!” One exclaimed. Aonung deeply frowned.
“It’s not like I want her to be my mate anyway.” He grumbled. Both you and Aonung were stubborn and hard-headed, preferring to do tasks your own way instead of asking for help. Perhaps that was why the two of you always clashed; because you were too similar for your own good.
You didn’t show your face for the rest of the day. You were stuck in your family’s pod, arguing with your father and trying to change his mind. Your attempts were fruitless.
“I’m going for a walk.” You scoffed, quickly walking away. Nobody tried to stop you. Kiri called out your name but Neytiri gently hushed her.
“Let her clear her mind.” Neytiri uttered.
You wandered along the sandy shore of a nearby beach, tail lashing in fury and kicking up sand as your frustration bubbled up. You raked a hand through your long hair, the village lights getting fainter the further you walked. You picked up a rock, angrily hurling it into the cold ocean.
“Great, now you’re destroying our beaches. That was a sacred rock, you know.” Aonung’s presence behind you only made things worse.
You glared at him. “Cut the bullshit.” You kicked up a flurry of sand at him.
“I’m not joking. Maybe if you retrieve the rock, my parents will call off the deal.” Aonung watched in amusement as you actually slipped into the water, disappearing below the surface. You returned a moment later, the wet rock in your hand. Beads of water trickled down your exposed skin and your hair stuck uncomfortably to your face.
“Here.” You dropped the rock on his foot, grinning as he jumped.
“Ow! That hurt!”
“I know. It was supposed to.”
Aonung let out an exasperated sigh. He crossed his arms over his chest, his usual sign of annoyance. “You aren’t special, you know.” He muttered. You resisted the urge to roll your eyes at his words. His biting remarks meant nothing to you.
“Oh, what a shocking revelation. How did you come to such a conclusion?”
Confusion clouded Aonung’s face before he shook his head. “And you speak weirdly.”
“No. You’re just dumb.”
Aonung clicked his tongue. “I’m trying to be nice and you’re dropping rocks on me.”
“If that was you being nice, I’ll pass.”
The constant bickering reminded Aonung that no matter how hard the both of you tried, you just couldn’t see eye to eye.
There was a moment of silence. Aonung slowly shifted to stand beside you, keeping a respectable distance but close enough to see you out of the corner of his eye.
You were pretty, especially in the moonlight. The moon bathed your face in a soft glow, your freckles shining like the constellations spread out across the starry sky. Aonung’s gaze subtly travelled to the sharp curve of your jaw and the way your head was proudly tilted. Your long braids swayed in the gentle breeze.
Aonung glanced up at the dark sky, eyes trailing over the glittering stars before flickering back to your face. And yet, no star shone as brightly as the freckles dotting your cheeks.
Your beauty was infuriating. How could someone so alluring be so argumentative?
Realising he had been staring for far too long, Aonung quickly refocused on gaze on the sand below.
“You were staring.” You flatly said, ears tilting in amusement.
Aonung merely scoffed in reply, crossing his arms defensively. “In your dreams.”
The sound of the waves softly crashing against the shore was comforting as you slowly kneeled down. The usual harshness in your doe eyes was replaced with something gentle as you became suddenly enamoured by the seashells at your feet.
“How do you feel about the arrangement?” Aonung joined you on the ground with a heavy sigh. He leaned back, his arms supporting him, and stretched out his legs. You peered through your lashes, staring at him, before softly scoffing.
“Bullshit.” You whispered. “You should already have a mate by now. Why do you not?”
Aonung shrugged. “I don’t want anyone here. None of the girls appeal to me. They will simply love me to elevate their status.”
“You’re getting serious. Using big words.” For the first time in history, you smiled at Aonung. It was barely visible, the corners of your mouth barely twitched, but he saw it.
“I want someone who likes me for me. Who doesn’t care about my status.” Aonung’s hand sifted through the grains of sand before he glanced over to see what you were doing. He was taken aback when he locked eyes with you. You were still staring at him while fiddling with an intricate shell.
“How cute.” You replied. Aonung watched as you stood up, brushing the sand off your skin. “I must go now. My family will be wondering where I am.”
You didn’t bother saying good-bye to Aonung. The words would have felt bitter in your mouth. Aonung let you leave. He picked up the shell you had left behind, twirling it around in his hands.
The truce between you and Aonung didn’t last long. By the next day, you were back to your usual routine; arguing nonstop until one of you surrendered.
It was the afternoon when you were finally free of Aonung. You watched Ronal as she worked, occasionally pausing to explain steps to you. An important job of being Tsahik was healing and since Neteyam was always the first in line, you had never bothered to learn. You were second in line and confident you would not have to take over for Neteyam. You were organising herb leaves when Aonung stepped into the hut, a shallow jagged cut running across his shoulder. You halted your actions.
“Y/N.” Ronal beckoned you over with a simple call of your name. She instructed you to hold Aonung’s shoulder down but the moment your cold hands brushed against his skin, he hissed.
“I don’t want her touching me!” Aonung exclaimed, pushing your hands away.
“You two will be doing a lot more than touching when you are mated.” Ronal huffed, lightly slapping her son for his petty behaviour.
Aonung turned to give Ronal a horrified stare. “Mother!” He shouted. “You know I would never do such actions with a tree hugger!”
You loudly clicked his tongue, delivering a sharp jab to his cut. He yelped in pain. “Jerk.” You grumbled.
“Spoiled brat.” Aonung quickly replied.
You opened your mouth to retort but you were quickly silenced by Ronal. “Enough!” The Tsahik exclaimed, glaring at the both of you. “I do not care how you two get along but the fate of this clan is in your hands. Do not disappoint me.”
“She’s not even Metkayina.” Aonung mumbled, huffing. He winced as Ronal disinfected the cut on his shoulder.
“Metkayina or not, it has been decided. You will accept it.” She sent a firm look your way, “Both of you.” She quickly wrapped Aonung’s wound. “You are dismissed.” She said, turning to you. “Aonung, spend time with her. I do not need your petty rivalry getting in the way.”
Aonung frowned but he didn’t not have the courage to defy his mother. He quickly grabbed your wrist, pulling you out of the healing hut. “Where do you wanna go?” He muttered, uninterested.
You kicked his shin. “I don’t know. You’re the one dragging me.” Aonung didn’t reply. He simply tugged you towards whatever destination he had chosen in his mind and you merely followed him. “I’m really hoping you’re not a serial killer now.” You voiced as you followed him through the thick vegetation.
“I would have killed you first if I was.”
You rolled your eyes at his response but you couldn’t muffle your small laugh. At least he got your sense of humor. Aonung’s ears twitched at the sound of your light giggle, suddenly wishing he had heard it sooner. Maybe he would have stopped targeting you if he knew your laugh was so pretty.
He pushed past the last leaf to reveal an area of the beach you had never seen. You tilted your head, intrigued by the warm sand and the light of the sun reflecting off the clear water. Aonung finally let go of your wrist but you found yourself missing his touch more than you despised it. You pushed the thought to the back of your mind.
“I’ve never seen this area before.” You uttered, stepping forward. There were more seashells littering the ground and you eagerly crouched to glance at them. Aonung pretended not to pay you much attention as he stepped into the water, letting the ocean lap as his warm skin. He watched you from the corner of his eye as you grinned down at the shell you were holding.
“You like shells?” Aonung questioned, wondering why such a thing could make you look so happy. You lifted your head, nodding. You had never seen such things in the forest. It was all leaves, trees, and dirt. The sea shells were a delicate difference.
“I used to like acorns.” You said, showing Aonung a necklace that had a large acorn nut hanging over your chest. Aonung’s lips pulled into a thin line as he bit back a bitter comment.
“Strange.” Was all he said before turning his head. Your interest in acorns and shells was… odd, yet it was also a little cute to see your eyes sparkle over such simple trinkets. Aonung stiffened at his thoughts, quickly shaking his head to get rid of them. He looked back a moment later to find you gone.
He assumed you must have run off when he wasn’t paying attention but he felt something grasp his ankle. He didn’t have time to react before he was pulled down. When he swiftly resurfaced, he heard your quiet snickers.
“That was not very nice.” He groaned, taking a hand through his now wet hair. You merely shrugged, showing that you didn’t regret it one bit.
“Payback for the time you dragged me around with your ilu.”
Ah, Aonung had forgotten about that.
You lay on your stomach in the shallow water, body pressed up against the sand. The water engulfed you while your head perched above the surface, perfectly dry now.
As Aonung attempted to wring the water out of his hair, his gaze suddenly flickered to your face. He found himself noticing things he hadn’t before, like how the four most obvious freckles on the side of your face formed a square and the way a few strands of curled hair framed your face. He felt his breath hitch and he subconsciously took a step back.
“Ew, were you checking me out?” Of course, you had to ruin the moment with a loud scoff.
“As if.” Aonung growled, kicking droplets of water your way. In response, you grabbed a handful of wet sand, flinging it at his chest. You mockingly poked out your tongue at him, a gesture he had seen Kiri do often. Ah, so she got it from you.
“You’re making it very hard to be nice.” Aonung hissed. You almost laughed. Him? Being nice? The word nice wasn’t in his vocabulary.
“If that’s you being nice, I’d hate to see what mean looks like.” You teased. Aonung angrily huffed.
“The deal between our families isn’t off.” He grumbled, “So, we’re stuck together. You could at least try!”
“Hm. That’s the smartest thing you’ve said all day.”
Aonung dunked your face into the water as retaliation. You gasped, spitting out a mouthful of water. “Jerk!” You screamed at him.
“See! You aren’t even trying to be nice!”
“That’s because you shoved my head into the water, dumbass!”
Aonung sat himself beside you, a little too close for comfort. “Personally, I don’t want to be stuck with an angry mate.” His gaze raked over you. “My mother said compliments always work. So, uh… I like your hair?” His statement came out as more of a question. You stared at him, unimpressed. You quietly sighed.
“Fine.” You groaned. Your eyes flickered to him, searching for something to compliment him on. “I… um…” You clicked your tongue before pressing your lips into a thin line. Finally, you spoke up again. “I like your eyes.” You choked out.
“What do you like about my eyes?”
“That’s not fair. You didn’t describe why you like my hair.”
“I like it because it’s bouncy and no matter what you do with it, it’s always styled perfectly.”
You suppressed the urge to snarl at him. “Your eyes are blue.” You muttered, “I like blue. They are… different from the yellow eyes the Omatikaya possess. The blue matches the ocean and I like the ocean.”
You saw Aonung’s lips curve into a teasing smile. “See? That wasn’t so hard.”
“I feel like I’m going to be sick.”
You returned to your family pod tired. Trying to see eye to eye with Aonung was far more exhausting than anyone let on. It wasn’t only your personalities that clashed. He seemed to hate everything you loved.
You liked seashells. He did not.
You liked heights. He did not.
You liked a specific type of fruit. He despised it.
You were ready to collapse on your mattress but you halted when you saw your parents packing your things. “Uh… what’s going on?” Your asked, tail lashing. Neytiri simply smiled at you.
“I know this sudden… arrangement is hard on you, daughter. Kiri has offered to stay the night with you in a separate pod so you can gather your thoughts.” Your bag was shoved into your arms. You narrowed your eyes, a little suspicious, but you were too tired to argue.
“Okay.” You slowly said. “As long as I have somewhere to sleep, I don’t care.”
“It’s the one at the end of the village. Hurry now.” Neytiri quickly ushered you away. You sighed, lugging yourself towards the pod that sat a little isolated from the rest of the village.
“Kiri, I don’t see how this is supposed to help.” You groaned as you walked in, hearing loud rustling. Kiri must have arrived before you. But your gaze landed on someone who was definitely not Kiri.
“You’re not Tsireya.” Aonung sneered.
“And you’re not Kiri. What the fuck did you do this time?” You hissed.
“Tsireya told me she wanted a sleepover… I had to agree because I owed her a favor.”
“My mother told me Kiri would be sharing the pod with me.”
Suddenly, it clicked. The two of you had been tricked by your own family. You were thinking of storming back into the village but your mother wouldn’t be very pleased. You were already on thin ice for punching a Metkayina boy last week.
Begrudgingly, you dropped your heavy bag. “It’s only one night with you.” You muttered but it was more to reassure yourself. You looked at the only bed in the middle of the claustrophobic room. “I call dibs on the bed.” You jumped on it before Aonung could retort.
“Well, I’m not sleeping on the floor.” He tried to push you off but you stood your ground.
“Neither am I.” You seethed. You glared at each other before Aonung scoffed. You grabbed a pillow, dividing the already small bed into two smaller sections. “You stay on your side and I’ll stay on mine.”
“Fine by me. As if I’d willingly want to be close to you.” He rolled his eyes in that infuriating way he always did when he thought he had the upper hand.
You shot him a scathing look before slipping under the covers, lingering on the far edge of the mattress as though it might save you from the awkward proximity. Aonung climbed in on the opposite side, keeping as much distance as possible. It was already night, the moonlight shining through the cracks of the fabric covering the entrance. You and Aonung fell into an uncomfortable silence, broken only by the sound of the ocean waves gently lapping against the shore outside.
You closed your eyes, ignoring the growing tension. You fell into a peaceful slumber, your chest slowly rising up and down as your dreams were filled with the familiar sight of the forest.
The next time you opened your tired eyes, it was morning. You slowly blinked before noticing a warmth around you. You shifted, the feeling of something firm against your forehead. You froze, almost letting out a shrill scream. You were pressed against Aonung as he gently rocked you, still fast asleep. His arm was draped over your waist, keeping you close, while his tail wrapped itself securely around your leg.
You attempted to wriggle free to avoid an awkward conversation when he awoke but his arm pulled you closer. “I’m not a teddy bear, you buffering buffoon!” You slapped his shoulder. He stirred, eyelids slowly fluttering open. The first thing he saw was your angry face. His grasp on you loosened yet he didn’t immediately withdraw like you expected.
“I told you to stay on your side!” You exclaimed, punching his chest. The hit did nothing to harm him. If anything, it only amused him.
“I did!” He fired back, “You’re the one who turned around and attached yourself onto me!”
“I did not!”
“Did so!”
Accusations flew from both of your mouths and yet you were still pressed closely against each other. “Ugh! Get away from me!” You finally pushed him away, rolling to climb out of the bed. But you miscalculated and you ended up falling to the floor with a loud bang. Aonung was immediately at your side, not wanting to be responsible for your possible concussion.
He helped you up, which was the most gentle he had ever been. For once, his tight grip didn’t cause an aching bruise.
“I’m fine.” You snapped at him as he pressed something cool against your throbbing forehead.
“Stop being so stubborn.” Aonung forced you to sit down, noticing how you couldn’t stand without swaying. He left the pod without a word. You assumed he was fed up with your attitude. You didn’t expect him to return two minutes later while you tended to your headache, medicine in one of his hands and a beautiful shell in another.
“I, uh, found this.” He grumbled, holding the shell out for you. “It reminded me of you.” It was a pastel blue with speckles of yellow painting it. You stared down at it, studying the shell’s shape.
Aonung cleared his throat, his cheeks suddenly feeling hot. You saw how his face flushed with color as he almost nervously fidgeted with his hands. “Do you… like it?” He asked, “Because I can take it back if you hate it. I don’t really care. I knew you’d hate it anyway.” He reached out to take the shell back but you instinctively pulled it away.
“No… I like it.” You whispered, growing protective over the shell.
Your gaze drifted down from Aonung’s bright blue eyes to his necklace, a piece of jewellery with intricately woven string that held a tooth in the middle. He was… relatively good-looking. His arm band, adorned with shells, was wrapped tightly around his bicep. Aonung had a sort of rugged beauty to him, shaped by the relentless ocean and the harsh tidal waves.
“Are you checking me out?” Aonung used your own words from yesterday against you. You merely huffed, a mix of amusement and frustration swirling inside of you.
“As if.” But your words came out quiet. You glanced down at the shell once more, trailing a finger over it in curiosity.
Perhaps Aonung wasn’t so bad after all. If you managed to look past his aggravating and obnoxious tendencies, he wasn’t exactly the worst person you could be stuck with.

navi women " yes you are demon and we will make sure no more clan get effected by the likes of you" the demon soon had shoved you to the ground, she was about to grab you again.
???? " mama" tuk soon came running and soon held tight onto you, as the three other kids had came and started hissing at the two adults.
neteyam " how dare you touch my mother and hurt her"

Tsu’tey " you two don't have any rights to come near y/n and our kids"

It a good day in the village a very funny and warm day and the clan was going on with their day. The same could be said about you and the kids, as you are with them near the shoreline collect materials while the kids goofed off here and there. Making you laugh as you had looked at them being kids and making sure to have fun today.
rotox " ahh aonung no fair" aonung and shoved his brother into the water soon, gaining your attention as you look at the two boys.
aonung " oh come on I'm just playing around"
tsireya " you two are so childish" the two boys soon looked at each other and soon smirked, when they looked to their sister and before trsireya could do anything. They had tackled her into the water getting a scream from her and laughs from her brother.
tsireya " hey"
rotxo " oh come on baby sister you should of seen that coming" tsireya soon started a water fight with her brother as you stood there laugh and looking at them.
kids " mama"
y/n " be nice all three of you and not hurting each other please"
kids " yes mama" the kids had went deeper into the water having their battles still going on, as you stood there watching them. You had been standing there for a while before you had waked off.
navi women "excuse me y/n"
y/n " hello how may I help you ladies"
navi women 2 " well us and some of the clan were wondering if you are true navi or false navi"
y/n " excuse me"
navi women 3 " yes after ing the olo'eythan you have failed time to time again, to have a kids with him while ronal has three kids ... are we sure you are actually navi or just some unwanted child the great mother gave your childish parents"
y/n " that is none of your business the great mother will bless me with a child, when the time right"
navi women 4 " are we sure because if you are false navi maybe it time, to have someone become the perfect mate and perfect navi to our clan"
navi women " you have these kids call you mama when you are no a mom to them"
y/n " I will not waste me time with you all anymore good day" you were about to walk away from the women, when big splash of water, had hit the women.
navi female " ahh"
navi women " who did that"
????? " it was me" the group of women and you had looked and saw it was aonung on his IIu.
Aonung " how dare you insult my mother like that"
navi women " mind your manners young man"
aonung " you should mind your manners when you are speaking to my mother, a very import women in the clan"
navi women 2 " we are speaking to her that all"
rotxo " you are being rude toward her and we heard everything you had said"
tisreya " yes and we will make sure to tell our parents about what you said, I wonder what they will think about how you all acted" a crowd had form due to all the fighting that was going on right now.
y/n " kids"
tsireya " you will start showing our mom respect"
???? " what going on here" tonowari and ronal soon had arrived, they soon walked towards you and the kids.
ronal " ma y/n and children what has happened"
aonung " these women were insulting mama mom they called her a false navi"
ronal " false navi"
aonung " yes they said she was a false navi because she failed to give father a child"
ronal " you dare insult my wife like that"
navi women " we had been speaking what is true she has failed to have a child with the olo'eythan"
tonowaro " how dare you speak to y/n like that after everything she has done for the clan, you all make me sick and not only insulting her you insult my whole family"
ronal " my family as well" ronal had gotten closer to the women and hissed at them, making them step back from her as ronal was very mad and so is tonowari.
tonowari " ma y/n are you okay"
y/n " I'm good now"
ronal " you are hear by not allowed to come near her or the children until I and tonowari deem to far enough, and your words and actions today might reflect your families and mates as well"
navi wonen 3 " wait no please"
tonowari " enough the tshaik has spoken I will decide on the offers I was going to give your mates, but for now leave before you all do anything else ... if anyone thinks the same speak now so we can deal with you all" no one dare to speak right now as it bad idea, the women had been escorted away getting glares some everyone else. Your mates and kids had taken you home as they comfort you about the whole matter.
tonowari " dont pay them any mind ma y/n you are the perfect mate, perfect mom, and perfect navi"
ronal " yes and one day you will be blessed with a kid"
y/n " yes I know the day will come"
tsireya " we love you mama"
y/n " thank you kids and my wonderful mates" the family had spent the rest of the day together, having a good time along with making sure you are okay as well. Tonowari and ronal had made sure the group of women stayed far away from you, and the kids their mates had apologized to you and were able not to be affected of what happened that day. You knew the day will come when you will be blessed with the another child in your life and family.

hiii!! i’m new to this whole request thingy :/ but i was wondering if you could make a fic about aonung with a runaway bride basically something about him being in love with a girl who isn’t inlove with him so she runs away to avoid being with him BUTTTT he finds her a couple years later mated to neteyam!! you don’t have to do it it was just a thought thank you!!!>.<
ooooooooooooh okie Im gonna love doing this one! Sit back and enjoy~!!
-------------
Tilayro
It is now or never. She can't handle another day for as long as he is around. Quickly and silently tilayro packs only the basics that she needs. Making sure she doesn't alert anyone in her home. She hopes that one day, her family will forgive for what she was about to do. May Eywa forgive her.
Guilt threatens to rise up at the back of her throat, tilayro quickly shakes her head, no, now is not the time to doubt or have second thoughts. She will never have another chance like now.
Making sure she has everything, taking one last look at her home, tilayro leaves. Running down the beach to where her skimwing is, quickly connecting with her dear friend, tilayro leaves. Making the daring move to leave the borders. Leaving her home and all that she ever knew. But this had to be done. Tilayro would rather do anything else than be forced to mate with a man who will never see her as she is.
Neteyam slowly wakes up, letting his eyes adjust to the light in his home. Letting out a yawn, he gets up silently, as much as he could. His arm was tugged by his beloved mate who still sleeps soundly beside him. It truly never gets old, waking up and the first thing he sees is the love of his life. How did neteyam get so lucky? He thanks Eywa every day for having his beloved by his side.
“Mmnn…stay…” he hears her whisper, reaching out to grab his other arm.
Neteyam chuckles, how can he resist her?
He lays down once again as she gets closer to his warmth. Taking in her scent, neteyam lets himself be wrapped around with her arms. Its still early. He can attend his duties a little later.
Tonowari and his family along with a few clan members were getting ready for their long trip to the forest. Tsireya was pretty excited to meet a whole different clan and explore areas she never thought she would see. Ronal kept neutral of it, but tonowari can tell she looks forward to it. Ao’nung seems to rather stay and leave.
“Why must I go? It has nothing to do with me” ao’nung complains for the hundredth time. Tonowari sighs for the hundredth time that day.
“It has everything to do with you. You are the clan's future olo’eyktan, as well as tsireya being the future tsahik, so you have no option but to come as well” tonowari explains. Ao’nung just sighs and packs whatever he needs to pack.
“No option, it seemed she did,” he muttered.
Tonowari quickly turned to face his son again, “ao’nung, I know it still bothers you but its been 2 years now, your mother will look for a better match for you”
“Better match, there will be no other like her and she is gone, a coward she was” ao’nung said with spite and hate in his voice.
He still hasnt gotten over it. Still hurt from what the girl did. Tonowari understands his son.
His betrothed ran away before they were able to be one.
“Thats it, keep moving your legs to stay afloat. Tuk dont stop moving your arms” tilayro was swimming at a remote lake with some small na’vi children. Teaching them the basics of swimming, along with tuk who is her best student in the group.
Seeing the position of the sun, it was time to end the lessons.
“Alright everyone, lets get you all to the edge, come on come on” she tells while gently guiding them back on land. She makes sure they are all dry and drops them off to their families when they reach the village. Tilayro likes teaching the children how to swim, its part of her since birth.
“Til!” tuk jumps up and down as she holds her hand making their way to the sully home.
“Are you excited?? Aren't you arent you?” tuk asks rather excitedly.
Tilayro giggles, “yes Im excited, its not everyday we meet a whole new clan”
Weeks back Jake and mo’at announced they will be expanding their alliances to other regions of pandora. One of the first clans they managed to get in touch with is a reef clan. Its specific name has not reached tilayro’s ears yet but was given the position to assist when the clan arrives. Teach them how to adjust in the forest climate and environment.
“Maybe you will see your family again?” tuk asks, imagining seeing more of tilayro’s people.
“Who knows?” she responded, but secretly, she wishes she would never see anyone from the metkayina clan ever again.
Few days have passed and everyone in the clan prepares to welcome the coming clan that will hopefully be a new ally to the omatikaya.
Neteyam, being stressed out of his mind, is forgetting things all over their home.
“The feathers, where are they??” he mutters to himself.
“Right here my love” tilayro giggles lightly as she places the elegant feathers in his braided hair. She makes sure he looks presentable, first impressions are everything. Checking every detail is good and perfect. Her love is perfect. Truly embodied that of a warrior.
“Don't be so nervous ma’nete, everything will be alright. If eywa allows it, all will be well” she says to comfort neteyam. He sighs deeply, bringing her hands up to his face. Her teal blue skin met his dark blue. A stark contrast in shades but when together, they blend beautifully.
Neteyam stays silent, just feeling her hands bring great relief.
He moves a bit to wrap his arms around her, holding her tight. Stroking her hair, smelling more of her natural salty sea scent mixed with that of her favorite fruit, all his anxiety washes away. Only bliss and relief takes over his heart.
“Please stay beside me, I need you there” he begs.
Tilayro smiles, “of course, I will always be there for you”
Calls echoed throughout the forest, alarms and signals were being given. The reef clan has arrived and are being guided towards the omatikaya village. Jake, Neytiri and mo’at were at the border to welcome the reef clan.
Greeting each other, Tonowari smiles, feeling very privileged and honored to stand before the legend himself. His family greeting the same, all a bit nervous as they are clearly out of their comfort zone.
“Toruk makto, it is a great honor to meet you” tonowari says.
Jake pats him on the shoulder, “jake is fine, it is also an honor to meet you face to face”
Pleasantries were said, ao’nung trying his best to look like an adult to his family and the olo’eyktan.
Mo’at guided them into the village, many omatikaya were very welcoming and gave gifts to the reef na’vi. They all felt welcomed and easily enjoyed this whole new side of pandora they never seen.
Ao’nung especially.
The forest is beautiful, the village even more. Animals he has never seen or heard of were there right before his eyes. How the people behave and look, their style is so different. He was starting to enjoy it. Until he wasn't.
“Hello, my name is neteyam. This is my mate, tilayro”
She promised she would be by neteyam’s side. Always. But at this moment, she wanted to run away and hide in the darkest cave the forest has.
She has to be dreaming, this isnt real!
Ao’nung was standing before her, being shocked as much as she was.
“Your…mate…?” he asks very silently.
Tilayro can feel her heart pounding against her chest, its drumming rhythm going against her ears. Sweat started to form from her forehead. She can pass out at any moment.
“Yes, we have been together for 2 years now”
OH how tilayor wishes for neteyam to stop talking right now. He is giving more fuel to ao’nung without even knowing.
Even he seems to be confused by the sudden change of the boy in front of him.
Until suddenly, ao’nung’s teal blue eyes stared straight into tilayro’s eyes. Feeling cold chills run down her spin. He is angry, very angry. Feeling his anger rise, she needed to say something, anything!
“So this is where you have been this whole time…” was all he said before punches were being thrown.
A huge crowd was forming in the middle of the village, tonowari, ronal, mo’at, jake and neytiri had to stop what they were doing to see what was going on.
To tonowari and ronal’s horror, they see their son ao’nung fighting with the olo’eyktans son, neteyam.
“Hey hey hey!” jake called out. He and tonowari quickly get through the crowd and towards their own sons. Both of them were a bloody mess. Neytiri notices tilayro and tsireya crying in distress of what they witnessed. Kiri was there to comfort them both but neytiri still heads over to make sure they are ok.
“What happened?!” tonowari demanded to know from ao’nung.
His son had a bloody nose, scratches on his shoulders and a black eye forming already. But his words seemed to fall on deaf ears as ao’nung was ready to pounce on neteyam again.
Neteyam in return looked ready for round two until tilayro got in their way.
“You!! You mated with him?!” ao’nung shouted, accusing her like she did a heinous act.
Tilayro was shaking but stood her ground, protecting neteyam.
“I did! We mated before Eywa! It is done and there is nothing you can do about it!”
Ao’nung can only stare at her, as thought she betrayed him in the worst way possible. He couldn't form any more words once she said it.
“Oh shit…” was what came out of kiri’s mouth, quickly piecing together what is happening.
Jake, while still holding neteyam back, stared at neytiri who understood what he was feeling.
[I'm getting a sense of major deja vu right now] he thought.
Within the massive tent that had the leaders inside including neteyam, ao’nung and tilayro inside, no one was happy with what occurred. It was a serious situation that could tear what little could be salvaged between the omatikaya and the metkayina.
While tonowari is furious with his son, same with ronal, both were beyond shocked to see tilayro living among the forest na’vi. And mated no less. That in itself brought more confusion.
“Start talking boy, I want a clear honest answer” jake demanded. He was in no mood for humor or light hearted jabs. Kid or not, someone threatened his son, and to an extension, his daughter in law.
Ao’nung looked down at his hands, feeling shamed for what he did. Letting his emotions get to him, but just seeing tilayro brought a wave of new found anger he thought he could never with hold.
“Forgive me sir, I let my mind be shrouded in emotions. I should have never beatin your son and cause a gap between our clans” ao’nung says.
Jake was not satisfied.
“Let me be more clear, I want an explanation, not an apology. Why did you attack me son?”
Tonowari and ronal shared a look of concern, yes what their son did was horrible but they fear what punishment the olo’eyktan would do once ao’nung confesses.
“Tilayro…” ao’nung begins to say. Remembering his short time with her back at his home.
“When your son said tilayro is his mate, I lost all control. I grew mad, angry and jealous. I shouldn't, but I did. Not liking it, I punched your son out of my own selfishness. I am sorry. I will accept any punishment you will give me”
Neytiri leaned forward a bit, “what is tilayro to you?” she asks.
“We were arranged to mate,” tilayro starts to say.
She and neteyam were back at the comfort and safety of their home. She does her best to heal his wounds while making sure to not inflict anymore pain.
“My family and his believed it would be good if I and ao’nung were to be together. He was already chosen to be the metkayina’s next olo’eyktan. He just needed a tsahik. I was unfortunately the one”
Neteyam didn't speak, letting her say what happened 2 years ago.
He remembers exactly the day he met her. She was lost, had no knowledge of the forest and was scared of everything. Tilayro clearly stood out for how her body was different from the forest na’vi. Wider arms and lets, a thicker tail.
He remembers helping her adjust, remembers being close to her, remembers how he fell in love with the mysterious aquatic na’vi.
“For how long were you arranged…” he asks softly.
“Hmm…for a long while. I thought it would work. That I could be a good wife and a good tsahik to our clan. I was foolish. They had us spend more time together. In a way I was glad, because I was able to ao’nung’s true side”
Neteyam observes his mate’s expressions closely, her eyes filled with sadness and her body movement slow and not really concentrated.
“What was he like?”
Just from beating the shit out of that fish boy, neteyam concluded that ao’nung currently is still a child who has no control of his emotions. Still holding some grudge and won't let go of things no matter how long ago it was.
“Selfish. A brute, always wanting to be praised and having his ego stroked” tilayro lists as she rolls her eyes.
Neteyam slightly smirked, “isn't that what you do with-”
“I'm still talking”
“Yes ma’am”
“He always took me somewhere that mostly had his bunch of friends. Really I think those friends only hung around with ao’nung simply because he is tonowari’s son. He always showed off to me, to an extent its fine. But he did it way too much. And it was all about him, for him, to him. He never had a moment to spare for me. Never properly courted me. So I came to the conclusion that we aren't fit. I could not for the life of me spend my life with someone like him…so I….left”
A tear fell from her face, “I left one night and never looked back. But I don't regret it. If I hadnlt left…I wouldn't have met you”
Neteyam brought tilayro closer and gave her a loving kiss on her sweet lips.
“Im glad you did. You are the best thing to ever happen to me and I think Eywa every day for that” he says.
They shared a few more kisses before he picked her up and spun her around. Laughter filled the air once more.
A few days later the metkyaina packed their stuff to head back to their home. What happened tarnished what was supposed to changed their lives for the better. Ao’nung felt ashamed. He did throw the first punch. Now he must deal with the consequences.
But seeing tilayro, even from a distance, is panged his heart.
He wasnt good to her, he knows that now. But ao’nung secretly did care for tilayro. How he showed it wasnt the best. Look where it lead to now. But he couldnt leave without saying anything to her. It was no or never.
“Where are you going?” ronal asks her son, seeing him make his way to neteyam and tilayro. She panics, thinking what worse can her son do.
That omatikaya warriors were quick to stand in front of the couple, not letting aonung get close.
“Please, I wish to say something. I promise to not cause anymore harm” he pleads.
IT was a long minute before neteyam hesitantly agreed.
Ao’nung slowly gets closer to the couple, he bows his head.
“Im sorry for punching you. It was not my place to say terrible things and much less hurting you. I know I ruined everything and I will work on improving myself” he says.
Neteyam didnt say anything, only a mere hum.
Then ao’nung turned to tilayro who was showing fear in her eyes.
“Im sorry…for everything. I know I didn't do a lot to show I was good for you. That I hardly put any attention on you like you deserve…I did and still do care for you tilayro. Im sorry I never showed it until it was too late”
Tilayro can feel the genuine honesty coming from him, he was messing with her. He was being truthful, which is something she thought she would never see from ao’nung.
“Please, treat her well. Tilayro is a good person, too good even for me”
Ao’nung and neteyam shake hands, “thank you” he spoke.
One last looked was shared before ao’nung left to join his clan. Not looking back, ao’nung and the metkayina begin their journey back home. The omatikaya looked after them.
Neteyam wraps his arm around tilayro, wanting to feel her skin touching his.
“He is right, you are a good person my love. A good woman, a good mate. Even I must confess, I am glad he wasn't the one for you”
Tilayro releases a light giggle, placing her head on his chest.
“You will always be the one for me neteyam”
Choosing what she wants and how she wants, tilayro knows that is the best feeling. Having the freedom to whom to love and be genuin.
Aaaaaaand that was it for this one! I hope you all liked it! Until next time! See ya!
---------
Tilayro = freedom

Tonowari had been heartbroken, years back, when his mate had died during childbirth. Both Ronal and her baby died at the same hour. The clan grieved the loss of their Tsahìk; Tsireya and Aonung grieved the loss of their mother; Tonowari grieved for his mate and lost baby.
That was a long time ago, 4 years back. Tonowari’s grief came to a halt the moment he met you, the eldest Sully sibling, allowing your family to stay.
“You there. Sully child,” he called out to you, waving you over.
“Yes, Olo’eyktan. What is it?”
He gestured for you to follow. You noticed the other Na’vi staring as you passed by. He led you inside the chieftain’s marui. There, he shut the door-like fabric and sighed.
“Come here.”
“Is there something wrong?” you asked.
Not saying anything else, the Olo’eyktan closed the distance between you two. A pair of strong arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you close. Before you could speak, your lips were captured by the chief’s.
You stood there for a moment until you snapped out of it and moved away from him. “W-what are you doing?!”
He didn’t move, his arms still wrapped around your waist as he pulled you closer to him. He finally spoke. His tone was harsh, but not mean. More pleading than anything else.
“Give me a chance.”
“What do you mean? A chance...?” you questioned, bewildered and still shocked from what had happened before.
Tonowari let one of his arms slide. The hand he had on your waist was slowly placed around your back, pulling you even closer to him before his hand started to move upward. Instinctively, your eyes closed halfway and went to look at the floor, blushing.
“A chance at happiness. Let me make you happy.”
“But... I don’t understand, you...”
He stopped his hand from continuing the path it was making and sighed, trying to keep himself composed, hoping for your cooperation. Hoping for your understanding. With another movement, both his hands went to your waist again, holding you firmly.
“Look at me, please.”
You looked up at him hesitantly. His eyes held a lot of feelings you couldn’t decipher.
Tonowari’s hands tightened around your waist a little bit more. A hand lifted itself to your chin, raising your head as he stared straight in your eyes.
“Let me love you. I’ve waited and searched far and wide for someone like you. Someone who understands the grief of losing their partner, of losing someone precious to their life. I see that person in you.”
You stared at him in surprise. “How did you know...?”
He smiled at your confusion. It was obvious he was getting through to you. He finally spoke again, still gripping your chin to keep you looking at him.
“A person’s eyes speak volumes. There is so much pain in yours, and I know how you feel. The only way to make it better is to allow someone to ease it for you.”
“Tonowari, I... I don’t know if I’m ready for that,” you whispered, half scared and half anxious.
His grip on your chin tightened. He leaned closer to you, until only mere inches separated your bodies. His hands slowly started to wander to your hips.
“Let me make you ready.”
You gazed at him. His gorgeous ocean-blue eyes, his splendid tattoos decorating his face... He was undeniable beautiful. The truth is that he caught your attention from the moment you saw him the day your family got here, but he always seemed so untouchable, so intimidating and serious. Not that it didn’t stop you from having sinful thoughts for several nights though.
His hand moved further down from your hips and up to your back again as he continued to pull you towards him. Tonowari then let go of your chin, moving his other hand towards your neck with his thumb rubbing circles over your skin as his face moved closer to yours. Your breaths became heavier the moment your lips almost touched each other.
“W-wait... what i-if someone sees us?”
He chuckled, pulling you closer to his body. His hands traveled back to your hips again as he spoke.
“Let them see. I am the Olo’eyktan. I can do what I want... and I want you.”
“B-but... my parents, my siblings, your kids -”
“Forget about them.” His grip tightened even more... to the point it almost felt like a pinch, though it may have just been his strength. “They’ll forget about it too once we are together. Once I make you mine for lifetimes to come.”
You felt your heart would eventually burst out of your body with the speed it was beating. Suddenly, you could no longer think straight. The more you thought about Tonowari's words, the less you wanted to think at all. The amount of stress you had been subjected to for the last days had been crushing you. Your parents' expectations, the need to check on your brothers and sisters, the return of the sky people, the worry for spider, being forced out of your home and having to adapt to a new environment where its people did nothing to help you nor make you feel welcome. Even your past relationship, while sharing mutual affection, felt more like a duty to the people than a free choice. You no longer wanted to think about it. For once, you chose to be selfish. Tonowari was right there, declaring his feelings for you and after that simple proposal, your already dazed mind just snapped as you gave in and kissed him
Tonowari was surprised when your lips pressed against his. Your kiss was passionate, hot, and most importantly, filled with emotion. This wasn’t just some innocent crush; this was a deep and meaningful need for each other. His hand slid up further, gripping your hair a little bit. His other hand slid back down, to your back again, as he pulled you closer, pressing you against his body.
You couldn’t help that small moan that escaped from your mouth, but you no longer cared about being subtle. He had given his word that you would not be disturbed, and any rational thoughts you held on to had disappeared from your mind the second his skin touched yours.
His hand moved to your side, where he scooped you up from your waist. His lips never left yours, the intense feeling of lust and love both being satisfied at the same time. His other hand slid down once more, and this time landed on your rear... holding you tightly against him. His breathing was heavy, but he didn’t care. He was ready to spend a lifetime of pleasure with you by his side.
While this experience was extremely pleasurable to you, you were running out of air. He had no problem; he was Metkayina after all. They could hold on to their breaths for Eywa knows how long. However, despite having spent weeks in the clan, you were still learning. And the fact that this whole... everything had caught you by surprise didn’t help. Regretfully, you separated your lips from his and your breath came back in soft but hoarse gasps.
He was breathing heavily as well, though not as much as you. His grip on your rear and back loosened slightly. He didn’t want to suffocate you.
Tonowari stared at you with desire, his eyes flickering from your face to your body. He was about to say something when a knock was heard on the door. He growled low in his throat, annoyed at the interruption.
You were equally upset, but the logical part of you told you that this was to be expected. He was the Olo’eyktan, the leader of the clan. If his people needed him, he should be always open to help in any way possible. After slightly regaining your composure, you moved away from him. “You should go see what they want. It could be something serious.”
He nodded, his grip finally loosening fully. His face was flushed with adrenaline, and despite the fact that he was irritated at the interruption, he knew that you were right. He took a deep breath, walking over to the door and flapping it open.
While he left to deal with whatever had happened, you silently just stood there. You began to feel a little uncomfortable with the passing minutes. He was standing right outside the door, but it still felt weird to be inside his home. Having nothing to do but wait, your eyes unintentionally began to wander around. You knew it was wrong to peek at his personal things, but you felt like it was okay. Sort of. After all, you both had been kissing just a little while ago. While looking around, you could see Tsireya and Aonung's separate pods. You imagined being part of the leader's family gave you such benefits. You also saw spears held in the walls, different tools and furnitures. Nevertheless, one object under a blanket caught your attention. A leather headpiece carved with a big seashell on its front.
That headpiece was actually the symbol of the Tsahìk of a Metkayina clan. Tonowari had hidden it before you entered, as he didn't want you to see him as just a leader looking for a replacement, but as a man who loved and cared for you.
After a few minutes, Tonowari eventually returned, shutting the door behind him. As he stepped inside, his eyes caught sight of you standing near his children's pods, staring at the headpiece in your hands. He slowly walked over to you.
“Did this belong to the previous Tsahìk?”
Tonowari’s eyes widened when you asked that. He didn’t expect you to recognize it as part of his clan’s tradition, and it was rarely used outside of ceremonies.
With a nod, he replied with a soft tone.
“Yes, it did. My mate, Ronal... she wore it during her time as Tsahìk. That is, until her death. Sadly, my children never had a chance to witness their mother rule as Tsahìk.”
You hummed in understanding. It made sense for him to keep it. Ronal had been Tsahìk of the Metkayina and his mate for years. Still...
Tonowari realized how you were staring at the headpiece, and how your eyes were still unmoving. He walked closer and picked it up, gently placing it on your head. A sign of him naming you the future Tsahìk.
He spoke, his hands placing themselves on your hips.
“If everything is alright with you, would you... come spend the night with me in my quarters? That is, if you wish to... become my life partner.”
Although you had accepted Tonowari's previous offer, this was too much. Especially after spending time in his home. You suddenly realized how much you didn't belong in that picture. He had two children the same age as your brothers and sisters. He had had a loving mate who he still loved; you could see it the instant he looked at the headpiece. He had a life made up, and you weren't sure how you fit in it. “Tonowari, you can't just name me the Tsahìk of your clan. I'm only an outsider, and you already have Tsireya as Tsakarem. Besides, I haven't even finished my training.”
Tonowari sighed softly, your rejection hitting hard. It hurt to see how you did not believe yourself to be a good match for him. He had thought that, perhaps, after all this time, you would grow to care for him and love him to the point where you would accept his office. He was wrong.
He slowly removed the headpiece from your head, placing the ceremonial piece on its previous place. Then, he turned around, walking over to a bag hanging from the ceiling, opening it and rummaging around.
You said nothing, hoping he didn’t take it very badly. In the best case, you could just forget about this and go back to your normal lives. Or maybe see each other without formalizing anything. At worst, you didn’t know what he would do. He was truly a gentle person but having power over a whole clan made him dangerous if he wanted to be. You just hoped your family wouldn’t get involved in this. Or find out at all.
After a few minutes, Tonowari took out something. He walked over to you, holding out a necklace in his hand. It was carved from a seashell, with the same emblem as the headpiece, though this one looked like it was made for you.
“This is a tradition I wish to begin. All Metkayina Olo’eyktans give a carved necklace to their intended. It is a sign of the beginning of a formal relationship. You have yet to answer, though. Will you be my mate for lifetimes to come?”
You stared at the necklace. Ot was beautiful, shining with various sea colors that made it look like some kind of precious relic. It appeared to be the perfect size for you, too. He must have somehow figured out your measurements. “I... It’s beautiful. I thank you, truly, I do, but... are you sure you want me?”
Tonowari nodded silently as you stared at the necklace. It was indeed the perfect length. He had studied your measurements on the few occasions he had happened to meet you at close range.
He smiled at your gratitude, but his smile turned into a sad frown as you continued your questioning.
“Yes, I am sure. If there was a doubt in my mind, I wouldn’t be giving you this necklace. I know that you are afraid, that you are insecure about being a proper match for me. But know this; my heart desires you.”
You sighed, feeling like your world was about to crumble depending on what you would decide. But, in the end, you had made your choice long before this conversation. “As mine does for you.” You turned around, waiting for him to place it on you.
He nodded again and moved to place the necklace around your neck. He was careful, not wanting to accidentally hurt you in any way. After securing it, he took you by your hips again, pulling you close to him.
“Now that you belong to me, let us celebrate. Come,” he opened the door to his pod, leading you inside.
Your steps started hesitant, then slowly gaining confidence. As your father would say: to hell with it. The more you thought about it, the better your choices seemed. Both of you were lonely, filled with responsibilities and under lots of stress and feelings too complicated to comprehend. This was a logical decision. There was nothing wrong with it. He was the leader of the clan, so what? You were Tsahìk- in-training, learning from your grandmother back in the forest and firstborn daughter of Toruk Makto. He was decades older than you? Well, there was not much to fix there. After being named a hunter and officially an adult, and having actively participated in the war as both a fighter and a healer, you felt mature enough. Besides, your family had begged to be allowed to stay here; becoming Tsahìk could help cement the decision.
The moment you entered his room, he closed the door behind you. He took you by your hand, leading you closer to his bed. His other hand went to your back again, tracing your curves with his fingers. His grip was firm, but the way he handled you was gentle, as if he feared hurting you. After your body made contact with the bed, he slowly laid next to you, pulling you into his arms.
His eyes never left you. He was watching intently you, looking to see if you were ready for this...
You exhaled heavily, opening your eyes to look at him. To really See him, which you did. You saw his tired but shining eyes, his scars obtained after arduous battles, his tattoos symbolizing multiple feats and memories. And you felt seen by him. Your insecurities, your weaknesses, your worries. Your emotions were like a wild current, indomitable and fierce, but he was the shore, gentle and sturdy, ready to receive you and adjust to you no matter the force you inflicted. He was your wall, your support. And you were his spark, like a river that stopped his heart from drying out and filled him with new affection at the same time. Without saying anything, you reached for your braids.
His heart skipped a beat as he saw you unbraid your hair. You were beautiful. Your silky hair was just begging to be brushed, just begging to be run through with one’s fingers. The way you moved towards him told him just how much you wanted this. He pulled you back into his embrace, pulling your head towards his to rest on his shoulder. A few moments of quiet passed as he just sat there like that, enjoying the peacefulness of the presence of your body against his.
“I want you, Tonowari.”
Tonowari closed his eyes as you muttered those words. Hearing them was what he had been waiting for. When the silence came right after, he pulled you even closer to him. He was your Olo’eyktan now, which meant that you belonged to him, and he belonged to you. This had been his wish for a long time, but now, he would make those wishes come true.
“I want you too.”
You slowly brought your kuru forward, letting the tendrils slowly interweave together with his. Right there and then, you felt it. Everything he was. Everything he had been. And everything he wished to be. With you. You closed your eyes again in pleasure, resting your head against his broad chest while your hands gripped his arms. Despite your previous experiences, this feeling could not be compared to them. The feeling of choosing and being chosen freely, without duties or expectations in the middle. It was impossibly liberating. You opened your eyes, watching through your completely dilated pupils the way he held you close and listening to his hard breathing.
Tonowari held you close, feeling your hands grip his arms and feeling your body press gently against his. His breathing sped up, just as yours did.
Your hands were brushing against the scars in his body, making him shiver slightly from the sensation. His muscles tensed underneath your touch, making his body move closer to yours. His breathing grew more erratic as your fingers tightened into his body.
With a soft moan, he pulled you even closer, his hands grazing against your lower back and sliding towards your hips.
You remained clinging to him as he took out your top and bracelets and pulled the cord holding your loincloth together. You gasped, feeling the cold air hit your now naked body. Combined with the newly made bond, everything you experienced felt multiplied by a hundred. Through it, you could see how Tonowari was looking at you, and it was turning you on too much for you to handle it.
Just looking at your body made him want you more than he ever had before. Your curves were hypnotic as they swayed with your movements. Your hips and breasts moved like waves on the ocean. Your skin was iridescent and soft, making him want to run his hands all over it.
He put his hands around your waist, bringing you to the edge of the bed. He slid the loincloth off, his eyes never leaving you as he did. Once he saw you fully naked in front of him, his jaw dropped. You truly were flawless.
“Tonowari... I need you.”
The sound of your voice was all needed to hear to snap him out of his trance. He pulled himself back to reality and gently laid you down, his gaze never straying your body. He slowly removed his garments as well. As he dropped each piece of his clothing, he stared at his body, unable to tear his eyes away from it. Finally, when he was completely naked, his eyes locked with yours.
“Say that again.”
“I need you.”
Those simple three words, when spoken with such desire, made his body respond to your command instantly. In a few swift moves, he was behind you. His hands gripped your hips tightly. His body against yours, pressing against your back, his hot breath was blowing on your neck. One hand squeezed tight against one of your tights, while the other hand brushed against your back.
“Again.”
“I need you; I need you, Tonowari, please.”
“You will always have me. I am yours, and you are mine. No one else can take me away from you. No one else can lay a finger on you. Not without suffering the consequences. You and your family belong to me now, and I mean that not as your leader, but as your mate. We belong to each other and all that comes with that. No one else will have you, and I would never let anyone take you away from me.”
His words made your already rapid-beating heart quicken its pace even more. “Wherever our fates take us. I will stay by your side – be it from the forest to the sea, from the start to the end of our time, together.”
Tonowari smiled. He was happy to know that you would stay by his side, no matter where or when. He knew that having you was the best decision of his life.
“You are mine. Now and forever. There are no boundaries between us. We will face everything together, and I trust you whole-heartedly. Now,” he gripped your hips tighter, if possible. “Show me just how much you need me.”
“How would you like me to prove myself?” you asked in a seductive tone.
“Make me feel like I’m yours. Make me feel loved. Make me want to hold onto you like I’m drowning and you’re my only saving grip. Make yourself mine. Show me how badly you want and need me. Be wild, be daring, be passionate.”
“Very well.” You leaned to whisper in his ear. “I will make you feel loved unlike anyone ever has. I will make you mine. And we will be truly united for ages to come.”
Tonowari's entire body tensed up as you whispered in his ear. His fingers gripped your hips even tighter. The way you spoke about making him feel, the way you spoke about making him yours, it was enough to make his body tremble in pleasure just from the words.
"Words sound good and all, but let's see if you can back them up."
His free hand went to your chin, and moved your face forward, his mouth meeting yours in a deeply passionate kiss.
While the two lost yourselves in the kiss, you subtly moved your body to be on top of him, your core meeting something hard, which made you release a moan that was drown by his lips.
He smirked at your subtle move, as he felt your soft body on top of him. He loved that you weren't shy with him, that you were willing to claim what you wanted. He loved the noise you made and quickly responded, his mouth taking over yours. He was lost in the moment, and he had no plans of stopping any time soon.
“Will anyone else be interrupting us? Your children?” While you were willing to let it passmthe first time, you couldn’t guarantee the safety of the next person who dared to interrupt you.
“My children will not enter without warning...” He paused to laugh at the suggestion of them just barging in, and he shook his head. They would never just walk in with something this sensitive going on. “But if they’re ever curious, I’ll inform you. A code only for you to know.”
“Like what?”
He gave you a mischievous smile, as he thought of a word for a code. His mind immediately went to your name, but that would be too obvious. So, he decided to use a word linked with your family and clan, one that no one outside of your family would know.
“If they ever walk in, just say: Meyo Na'vi, yotulka.”
“What does that stand for?”
“It means Child of the Forest, my love. Only members of the Metkayina clan would know what that means.”
“Mmm, I like it. And hearing it from you makes it even more special.”
He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you onto him. Your hips were pressed tight against his, your chest pressed against his. His forehead rested onto yours, as he looked into your eyes.
“I have something else that I'd like to say to you before we continue. Do you want to hear it?”
“Of course.”
He grabbed your hands and placed them on his chest, your fingers feeling his heartbeat.
“This heart belongs to you, and only you. I pledge it to be yours and yours alone. If it stops beating, that is because I would be dead. It shall only beat fast when you are near, because it wants to be close to you. And when you touch it, it shall thump slowly for you, because you are my only desire. My only love. And nothing can ever replace you.”
“Tonowari, I love your caring words and affectionate speeches, and Eywa knows I would do unspeakable things for you, but please. Do not make me wait any longer.”
He chuckled at you being so impatient, and he took that as his cue to finally take control. He took hold of your hips, his hands on your thighs. And he began to move you. Slowly at first, he began to move you in a circular motion, his hips pressing against yours. The more they moved, the more the rhythm sped up, moving your bodies together in sync.
You whined at the sensation. You had fantasized about this moment for days, but it still felt incomplete. You needed more, needed him, to complete the bond in both body and mine. And he knew it. “Tono...wari... ah.”
The moment he heard your whine filled with desire, it was all he needed to hear. He was at your command, following every whim of your body. Every movement you made was the signal he needed to bring his movements in tune with yours. He leaned forward onto your neck, his breath hot and heavy on your skin. He bit gently on your neck, letting the sensation send chills throughout your body.
“Ah! Please, Ma’Tono... I want you now.”
The way you said his name sent a shiver down his spine, making him shudder in pleasure. Your body began to get him heated, making him want you even more. However, he just looked at you with a grin. You had said he spoke too much, so now he wished to tease you a little.
“I like hearing you beg. Say it again.”
“A-ah! Please!”
Your desperation turned him on like no other. And he knew he'd have you screaming his name soon.
“Still not a complete sentence. Say it again. And this time, say it like you really mean it. I want to hear it.”
“Gah! Ma'Tonowari, I beg you. Grant me the honor of finally being able to join you, without any type of limit. Let our union be complete and we may be united until the end of our days. Let our bodies come together and the fruit of this exchange result in a new life”
The moment you were done, he knew that the words that you felt towards him were more than just mere desire, but complete love and devotion as well. Your desire was his desire now. And it would always be that way.
"The honor is mine to have you with me, my beloved. We are now one in flesh and in soul. This is our union. So, I command you, my love, to join with me, and let our union be perfected."
“As you wish, my love.” And you dived in, eager to experience a future with him as your bodies became one. As your minds became one. Your love solidified in a moment, forever intertwined in a union that only they could truly understand. Their souls became one with their hearts beating in unison. And nothing would tear the bond they created.

The morning came quickly. Lay’ra woke up in her parents embrace. The girl smiled, happy to receive the love of her family.
“My daughter what are you smiling for?” Ronal, who had just woke up asked brushing a strand of hair from her daughter’s face.
Tonowari also woke up looking at his daughter. He looked at his mate and daughter, quietly listening.
“I like this, that’s why I’m smiling” Lay’ra answered her mother. Smiling brightly at her.
Ao’nung and Tsireya also woke up. They looked at their sister. The siblings were worried for her. They didn’t know about what happened to her before she came to their village, they only knew that it was not good.
“Sister you’re awake” Tsireya smiled sitting up.
“Are you okay now?” Ao’nung asked the older girl.
“Thank you, Ao’nung, Tsireya. I am fine” Lay’ra turned to her siblings and chuckled.
Their faces brightened, their sister being okay was making them happy.
“Shall we go to communal breakfast now?” The older girl asked looking up at her parents.
Both Tonowari and Ronal smiled at their daughter. She was a sweet and caring girl. The parents stood up from the sleeping mats. Tonowari took Tsireya’s right hand in his left one and Lay’ra’s left in his right one, while Ronal took Ao’nung’s left hand and Lay’ra’s right hand. The parents pulled their children up. The children laughed happily.
After the laughter died down they exited their marui. Going to the place where communal breakfast will take place.
Lay’ra let go of her parents hands and took both Ao’nung and Tsireya’s hands in her own and ran to sit down. Their parents joined them during down beside the children.
Jake who was walking with his family to attend the communal breakfast stopped in his tracks when he saw Lay’ra but then started walking again. Neytiri noticed it but let it go.
Since their arrival it was tense between them and Lay’ra. They didn’t know how to fix their mistakes. Giving her time was hard, they wanted to talk to her, embrace her, have her beside them. But it’s their fault, their fault, what they have done cannot be reversed.
Lay’ra looked at the sully family, seeing the children she smiled. She loves her biological siblings. She did. And she wanted to be closer to them, but that also meant that she will have to interact with the parents.
Lay’ra sighted. She will have to teach the sully parents after breakfast. She took their leaf with her food and started eating. Taking bits of fish and pieces of fruit in her hand and putting it in her mouth. She chewed and looked at the villagers who were talking with wide curious eyes, her ears twitching at the sound and laughter.
The girl always wanted to know what was going on. So she always listened to what others were saying. She like any other liked to gossip. Once she saw her older friend sitting with a boy she had a crush on, she nudged Tsireya and quietly pointed at them.
Tsireya looked at the direction and smiled. Lay’ra wanted to laugh but held it in. Her friend was already at the age of mating. So seeing her with the boy she liked it was interesting.
The girls laughed together quietly. Ao’nung looked at his sisters and raised an eyebrow. The girls stopped for a second before the both of them burst out laughing, falling on their backs. The clueless and confused Ao’nung looked at his mother who chuckled. When he looked at his father he saw the same clueless expression. Tonowari just shrugged continuing with his meal.
It was these kind of moments that Lay’ra loved. She wanted them to last.
Jake and Neytiri on the other hand looked glum. They ate their meal silently. Kiri and Tuk who were watching Lay’ra and Tsireya stood up. Kiri took Tuks hand in hers and walked to Lay’ra.
Kiri and Tuk made sign of ‘I see you’ to the Tsahik and the Olo'eyktan. Ronal and Tonowari nodded at the girls.
Lay’ra seeing the sully sisters walk closer sat up pulling Tsireya to also sit. They tried to muffle their laughter covering their mouths with their hands. Kiri and Tuk were confused until Lay’ra told them what she told Tsireya.
When the girls saw the lovely dovely couple they also started laughing. Now it was Neteyam’s and Lo’ak’s, who were watching from beside their parents, turn to be confused by their sister’s laughter. They turned their heads to Ao’nung who, like his father, shrugged.
The clan was used to this kind of thing. It made the mornings more lively with the laughter of the tsakrem.
After that breakfast passed. Kiri and Tuk were talking with Lay’ra and Tsireya as they finished their meals. Now it was time for the lessons. Tsireya and Ao’nung will teach the sully children while she, will teach the parents.
The older girl put her leaf olin the pile of other leafs to be washed and reused.
(I don’t know how this works so I am making some things up. Please bear with me 🥹)
The girl walked to Jake and Neytiri and stood in front of them, her hands clasped behind her back.
“Are you ready for the lesson?” She looked at them. They were sitting on the sand before standing up.
“Yeah” Jake said. Neytiri nodded.
Lay’ra started walking, expecting them to follow her. It was as if the conversation yesterday was forgotten. In reality it really wasn’t. She just won’t let it get to her.
They arrived at the place. There was a big, flat boulder. She climbed on it and gestured for them to do the same as she sat down and crossed her legs. They copied her action.
“Do you know how to sign?” She asked them. They shook their heads.
“How to call an ilu?” Again they shook their heads.
“Well then that’s what we will be working on today.” She closed her eyes and sighted before opening them again.
“Sign language allows for communication in environments where speech is not possible, like underwater” She explained.
“If you want to live here you have to learn it. I will be teaching you once a day on sign language. Today we will learn the basics signs like” She thought for a moment before doing a sign.
“This means mother, and this” Lay’ra did another sign.
“This means father” She looked at the both of them.
“Did you get it?” They looked at her with confused eyes before nodding. She raised an eyebrow.
“Repeat it” Jake’s ears shoot up. He tried to mimic the sign, it turned out messy. She looked at Neytiri who was also trying to do the same.
“It’s a start. If you practice you will get it” The girl smiled a little. It was funny to watch them trying to adapt.
She showed them other signs like water, forest, family.
“Learn them by the day after tomorrow.” They silently nodded. Neytiri looked at the smaller girl.
“What… is the sign for daughter” Neytiri asked slowly.
“This is daughter” The girl made another sign.
“And this is son” She signed the word.
Neytiri nodded trying to do the same with her hands. Jake watched his mate trying to repeat the hand movements.
The girl stood up and hopped off the boulder in to the water. Her tail was swaying from side to side.
“You have to learn how to call an ilu.” She said to the two omaticaya na’vi.
Lay’ra made clicking sounds with her mouth. Calling an ilu which swam to her rubbing its face to her leg. The girl smiled.
“You will try, come down.” She looked at them waiting.
The couple carefully jumped down in the water. Looking at the smaller girl for instructions.
“Call for them. Try to mimic the clicking sound I made” She instructed them. Neytiri was hesitant to call but she still tried.
Lay’ra winced. Well they are starting from scratch so it’s okay.
“You will learn. We will practice.” She nodded to herself.
She taught them for a few more hours before it was time to end the lesson.
“Today is done. Go to my father and mother. They will teach you to ride.” She turned to leave her tail swaying in the water.

ꕥ — Found Someone Better / A New Tide
Genre — Chapter four: Part Two
Artists — Tonowari x fem!avatar!reader

The sun is shining brightly over the island as you approach the secluded spot Tonowari had shown you when you and him first started dating and wanted some time alone. The crash of the waves echoes against the towering rocks, and while you’re walking the beauty of it all distracts you from the long day you’ve had in the healing pod, patching up warriors and taking care of sick children.
When you get closer to your meeting location you see him leaning against a nearby boulder with a hardened look on his face. He looks different than he did when you parted ways this morning, he’s tense, his broad shoulders are rigid, and his jaw is tightened. There’s a storm in his usually calm blue eyes, and before you can get out a full sentence, Tonowari strides toward you.
“Hey, I—” your words lodge in your throat as his hands grab your waist, pulling you flush against his chest. His lips crash into yours in a kiss that’s so deep and possessive it takes your breath away. It’s not the soft, familiar kiss that you’re used to receiving from him. This kiss is rough, heated, intense, as though he’s trying to convey something through his actions.
When he finally pulls back, both of you are breathing hard, and you can feel the tension radiating off his skin. Your lips tingle from the force of his kiss, but instead of saying anything right away, you raise a teasing brow, wondering where this side of him came from. “Well,” you say, a smirk tugging at your lips, while trying to calm down your breathing. “it looks like somebody missed me today.”
Tonowari huffs a soft laugh, brushing a strand of hair out of your face while his eyes still hover over you. “Missed you? I’ve been thinking about you all day. Especially since…” His jaw tightens again as his hands slide up to your torso and back down to your waist, holding you tightly as if he doesn’t want to let you go.
“Since what?” you prompt, tilting your head in curiosity, wondering what’s going through his head because you can already sense there’s a reason behind his current behavior.
He hesitates for a brief moment, as though he’s debating how much he should say. “Earlier some of the warriors were speaking about you.” he says, his voice low but laced with restrained anger. “Saying they wanted to court you…” His words trail off, but the sharp edge in his tone makes it clear just how much their comments bothered him.
Your eyes widen slightly in surprise, but his words warm you in a way you hadn’t expected. “Oh.” you say softly, a hint of amusement creeping into your tone. Seeing this side of Tonowari was cute, this was the first time you’ve seen him jealous or territorial when it comes to you before so seeing him upset like this amuses you. “So that kiss was your way of…” you pause, trying to find the right phrase to use. “claiming me?”
Tonowari narrows his eyes at your teasing, though there’s the faintest hint of a smirk on his lips. “If that’s what you want to call it,” he murmurs, leaning closer so that his forehead rests against yours, “then yes. I want to make sure there is no doubt in your mind, or anyone else’s, about who you belong to.”
You can’t help but laugh at the seriousness in his tone, even as a purple hue creeps up your cheeks. “Well, I think you’ve made your point.” you say, wrapping your arms around his neck. “But just so we’re clear, I’ve only ever belonged to you, Tonowari.”
His expression softens at your words, and the tension in his shoulders finally eases. “Good,” he says simply, his voice still holding that protective edge. “Because I will not let anyone take you from me.”
Tonowari kisses you again, softer this time but with that same fire from before, and you melt into his embrace, letting his warmth and love wash over you like the waves crashing against the shore nearby. When he finally pulls back, he looks down at you, his eyes looking more calm and relaxed than before. Talking to you has definitely calmed his spirits but there’s still one more topic he wants to talk to you about now so he can fully have a peace of mind.
“I don’t want to hide you anymore.” He blurts out. “I don’t want to pretend you’re just a member of the clan. I want everyone to know what we have, to know that you’re mine and mine only.”
His words take you by surprise, causing your teasing smile to fade. You’ve always known how much Tonowari cares for you, but hearing him so serious about taking your relationship public brings up more questions than answers. “Are you sure?” you ask softly, your voice holding a hint of hesitation. “The clan… they might not understand. Ronal was their Tsahìk. I know she’s special to them.”
Tonowari’s face softens at your words, his thumb gently brushing over your cheek, thinking it’s sweet how you’re so caring about others emotions before your own. “They may not understand at first,” he admits, “but I will not allow anyone to question what we have. I’ll face whatever comes. We’ll show them that this is real, that this isn’t about replacing anyone.”
“But what if they judge you for it?” you ask, voice barely above a whisper. “What if they think you’re moving on too quickly, or that I’m not the right fit for you… for them?”
“Ronal will always have a place in my heart,” He says quietly. “But like you said before, that doesn’t mean I can’t move forward. I haven’t felt peace since she passed, and you—” He pauses, his voice emotions starting to catch up with him. “You’ve brought light back into my life. And I want to honor that, openly. I want to stand beside you, show the clan that you are my partner in every sense.”
Your heart stirs at his words, and you feel your own hesitation begin to wash away. He’s not just offering a public acknowledgment of your relationship, he’s offering a place for you beside him, not hidden, but seen and respected. You feel his conviction, his strength, and it gives you the courage you need. “If this is what you want,” you begin slowly, grabbing his hand, meeting his gaze with a sense of certainty. “then I’ll stand by you.”
With the decision to go public about your relationship now made, you and Tonowari settle into a comfortable silence, each of you absorbing the weight of the path ahead. But then, as if he’s reading your thoughts, Tonowari brings up the next hurdle. “You’ll need to tell Lo’ak, and I’ll need to speak with Tsireya and Ao’nung.” he says, glancing over at you. “I think Tsireya will understand but Ao’nung may need a bit more convincing. He was close to his mother, and he may have… expectations about how things should remain.”
You nod, understanding how it might talk to the children a while to grasp the idea of you and him together. “Yes, I understand. Lo’ak is a bit protective of me too, but I think he’ll see how much this means to me, to us.”
A thoughtful pause hangs between you both as an idea pops in your head. “What if we tell them all at once?” you suggest, glancing up at him. “It might be better to have this conversation together, so they can see that we’re united in this decision. We can answer their questions, face any concerns they have openly, and reassure them that they’re still our priority.”
Tonowari considers this, nodding slowly. “Yes, I think that’s a great idea. It will help them see that we’re serious, that we’ve thought this through. And it might reassure Ao’nung to see how carefully we’re approaching this.”
You squeeze his hand, comforted by his steady conviction. “It will take time, and we’ll be patient. We’re asking them to adjust to something new.”
Tonowari leans forward, pressing his forehead gently to yours. “Whatever challenges come, we’ll face them together. This is our family we’re building, and we’ll take all the time needed for each of them to feel at peace with it.”
With your hearts now settled on this new plan, a quiet confidence fills you both. You know there may be questions, and even doubts, but together, you know that you and Tonowari will make it through this, uniting not only as a couple but as a family.
—
You arrange a simple dinner in your mauri, filling your home with the scents of delicious fish and fresh herbs, hoping it will help create a comforting atmosphere for the children. Tonowari arrives just as the sun begins to set, a calm presence as he greets you with a reassuring smile. You exchange a quiet nod, feeling a shared determination settle between you as the children gather together in the play area of the mauri.
With all of them playing with Lo’ak’s toys and enjoying themselves, you and Tonowari have a few moments to talk before dinner begins and you disclose your relationship. “Are you ready for this?” Tonowari comes beside you, bending to your level as you're adding the last finishing touches to the food.
You pause for a moment, your fingers hovering over the dishes as you turn to meet Tonowari’s gaze. His eyes are filled with patience, but there’s a quiet intensity in them as well, he understands the weight of this moment. You take a deep breath before nodding, feeling the slight flutter of nerves in your stomach. “Yeah, I’m ready. I just hope that the kids take it well.”
“They will, once we explain everything so they can understand and see that what we have is serious and that we love each other.” Tonowari says, placing a soft kiss against your temple, causing your nerves to feel a little at ease now.
You take another deep breath, feeling a wave of calm and confidence from Tonowari’s reassurance. “I just want them to understand that we’re not trying to replace anyone, and that we’ve thought this through. I don’t want Ao’nung and Tsireya to feel like I’m stepping into their mother’s place.”
Tonowari nods, understanding what you mean because he’s been having the same thoughts, hoping his children accepts the news because he hasn’t brought any women around romantically since the passing of Ronal and he doesn’t want them to feel like he’s trying to replace her because that’s of course not his intention. “We’ll make it clear to them that nothing is being taken away. This is just a new chapter for us all, and we’ll face it together.”
“And Lo’ak? I don’t want him to feel like things are changing too much.” With him finally getting settled into your new lifestyle in Awa’atlu; making new friends, joining the children’s warrior training where they learn the basics, and adjusting to the Metkayina culture, you don’t want to burden him with more change or make him feel like the dynamic between you and him will become different since Tonowari’s in your life now.
Tonowari smiles softly, already knowing what to say to make you feel better. “Lo’ak will see that we’re not rushing anything, that we’re here to stay, and that things won’t change between you and him. Patience is all he needs.”
From those words the last of your nerves ease away. As the children laugh in the background, their voices light and carefree, you feel a warmth fill your heart. For a moment, you let yourself imagine this new future, a blended family finding peace and happiness together.
You glance at Tonowari again, a soft smile coming across your lips, your hand instinctively reaching for his, your thumb brushing against his skin in a soothing rhythm. “You always know what to say, don’t you?”
Tonowari chuckles, the sound low yet comforting to your soul. He looks down at your hand, his own fingers curling slightly around yours before he raises his eyes to meet yours again. “I’ve learned from the best.” He replies, matching your playful tone while his words are sincere. “You always know how to calm my thoughts. I just try to return the favor.”
His gaze softens, a hint of tenderness in his eyes as he holds your hand a little tighter, bringing the back of your hand to his lips and pressing a gentle kiss on your skin. “We will get through this together.”
You feel another wave of reassurance wash over you at his words, the small moment between you two grounding you before the bigger conversation with the children. “Yeah, we will.”
While Tonowari helps you do some last minute preparations, Tsireya’s melodic voice calls out, “Is it time to eat yet? It smells so good!” Her bright smile is enough to lighten the atmosphere, and you chuckle while checking on the grilled fish that's sitting on the cooking fire, flipping it to its other side so it can cook for a few more minutes.
“Almost, Tsireya!” you call back, looking behind her and seeing Ao’nung and Lo’ak with their hands on their stomachs, saying that they're hungry and that their tummies are rumbling. “Why don’t you all come and sit down? We need to talk about something really quick before we eat.”
The children exchange curious glances but obey, taking their places around the wooden table in the common area. Ao’nung sits down with a skeptical look, folding his arms, while Tsireya is calm and attentive, her curiosity more open than guarded unlike her brother. Lo’ak’s expression is a little bit harder to read. His gaze shifts between you and Tonowari, sensing the seriousness of the conversation but not sure what’s the meaning of it.
Once you and Tonowari sit down he’s the first to speak, his voice calm but serious as he leads the conversation. “There is something we need to share with you all.” he begins, looking from Tsireya to Ao’nung, then to Lo’ak. “For the last few months, y/n and I have been spending a lot of time together and have decided to become… more than friends. We are,” Tonowari grabs your hand, wanting to give the children a visual to show them that you both are united. “a couple now.”
When the kids hear that all of their ears perk up, wondering what all of this means. “So does that mean you’re like girlfriend and boyfriend now?” Ao’nung asks, his brow bones furrowed as he tries to fully grasp what his father is saying.
Tonowari smiles softly, nodding his head in agreement with his son. He knows the kids are too young to fully understand the differences between dating, courting, and marriage, so he chooses to keep it simple for them so they can understand. “Yes, Ao’nung, that’s right.” he says, his hand gently squeezing yours in a quiet show of affection.“We care about each other a lot, so we decided to be together. Kind of like how Rotxo’s Mom and her mate are.” He decides to use an example of a couple that the children are familiar with and Padma and her mate are the best choice, they are one of the most loving couples on the island and have been together since childhood.
Tsireya’s eyes light up with a soft, understanding smile as she takes in what you and Tonowari are saying. She tilts her head slightly, her curiosity now shifting to excitement. “Does that mean you love each other? Like… love love?” she asks with a gentle tone, her voice carrying the innocence of someone who just wants to make sure she understands the meaning of being a ‘couple’.
You smile at her, nodding gently. “Yes, Tsireya, we do love each other.” you say, feeling a little flutter in your chest at how easily she seems to accept it. “And being together makes us really happy.”
Tsireya beams, sitting up straighter. “So you’re like… best friends but better!” she says, her little voice filled with excitement as she swings her legs under the table.
While Tsireya is taking the news well and practically envisioning all the fun girly things she can do with you since Tonowari is courting you, Ao’nung wrinkles his nose, crossing his arms as he thinks about what this will mean for their future. “Is y/n going to be our new mom now?” he blurts out, speaking for both himself and his sister, his tone cautious but straightforward.
Tonowari’s hand tightens around yours briefly before he releases it to place a steadying hand on Ao’nung’s shoulder. “No, son.” he says firmly but gently. “Your mother is irreplaceable, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. This isn’t about replacing anyone, it’s about finding a way forward. Eywa teaches us that life continues, and we must honor those we’ve lost by embracing the present and the future.”
You nod in agreement with your future mate, supporting his words and saying a few of your own so Ao’nung will know how you feel about the situation. “I don’t want to replace your mom.” you explain softly, leaning forward a little. “Ronal will always be you and Tsireya’s mom, and no one can ever take her place. I just want to be here to help, to make sure you’re happy and taken care of.”
Ao’nung’s gaze lingers on both of you for a moment longer, as if he’s trying to read you and see if you’re being sincere about your intentions with his father and honoring his mothers memory. Despite the boy being young, he’s a smart kid and he can sense energies, and he can tell yours is good and that you mean well so after a few moments of thinking he decides that he’s fine with this arrangement. “Okay but as long as we don’t forget her.”
“Never.” Tonowari promises, tightening his grip on his son's shoulder as a form of reassurance.
Lo’ak, who’s been unusually quiet, shifts in his seat. He wonders how this new relationship will affect the bond you and him have. He can see that you’re happy but since you’re technically the only family he has now he doesn’t want to lose you. “Does this mean things are going to change for us?” he asks, his voice carrying a mix of curiosity and worry.
When you hear the worry in his voice your expression softens as you reach across the table, placing a reassuring hand over his. “Not in the way you’re thinking.” you say softly. “You’re my son, Lo’ak, and nothing will ever change that. My love and commitment to you will always come first. Tonowari understands that, and we both want you to feel safe and comfortable.”
“This is a new step for all of us, but it doesn’t mean anyone is losing anything. I would never want to take your mom away from you.” Tonowari says, co-signing what you’ve said and adding his own thoughts to make Lo’ak feel more at ease.
Lo’ak studies you both for a moment before giving a small, thoughtful nod. “Okay.” he says quietly. “As long as you’re happy, I’m cool with it.”
A wave of relief washes over you, and you smile warmly at your son, your chest swelling with pride at his maturity. “Thank you, Lo’ak.” you say, squeezing his hand.
With the heavier conversation behind you, the atmosphere in the mauri lightens. Ao’nung even cracks a small smile as Tsireya teases him about how serious he looked during the talk. Lo’ak leans back, his shoulders visibly relaxing, and soon the children are chatting about other things, including the usual sibling bickering.
“Alright, let’s eat!” Tsireya says, bouncing in her seat as the smell of the food catches her attention again. “I’m soooo hungry!” She exclaims, her stomach beginning to growl as the aroma fills the room.
“You’re always hungry.” Ao’nung jokes, thinking his sister is the greediest na’vi on Pandora despite her always denying it.
“Am not!”
“Are too!”
Their playful bickering makes you laugh, finding it amusing and as Tonowari helps you bring the food to the table, you feel a sense of hope settle in your chest, hope that all of your lives will blend beautifully. This might be a new chapter for all of you, but it’s starting on a solid foundation, one that’s filled with love and understanding.
—
The Omatikaya clan has never been one for quiet moments. Even in the vast forest, the air is always filled with the chatter of family and the warmth of communal life. But since the night Lo’ak and you had vanished off the face of the earth, leaving nothing behind but your last words and final thoughts, for the Sully family the forest has grown unnervingly still.
Jake’s frustration is like a storm. He’s been a proud leader for so long, always knowing what to do, say, think, and handle every curveball life throws at him, all of those qualities couldn’t help him figure out how to handle this situation. He never expected you to actually leave after you expressed your feelings of wanting out of the marriage, he just assumed you would eventually get over it and things would go back to normal.
Jake has always prided himself on his ability to protect his family, to keep things together, but the cracks have been showing for a while now, despite him trying to make things seem perfect but with things now out in the open, he can’t do anything to cover it up.
Neytiri has also been struggling with your disappearance. The absence of her mate, the missing pieces to her family, cut deeper than any wound she’s ever received in battle. At first, it was just the hollow ache of not seeing your face at the breakfast table and not hearing your voice in the quiet moments but soon, it was the overwhelming realization that over the years she and Jake had taken you for granted, that you were the steady hand that held everything in your household together.
They realized that it was you who quietly nurtured and took care of the children, who offered kindness even when it was never reciprocated, who kept your mauri looking spotless and made sure they never had to worry about anything after coming home from a long day. Now with you gone, the house is chaotic. There were no longer quiet meals, no soft words of encouragement, no time for the mated pair to spend hours in the forest having romantic talks and sexual relations, all their time was spent taking care of the clan and their children.
Speaking of children, with you gone they’re all out of sorts, especially the two older ones, Neteyam and Kiri, who felt the shift in their family dynamic. Tuk, though just a baby, seemed to sense the tension that lingered in the air of their home. She cried more than usual, her small hands reaching for something she couldn’t name, someone she couldn’t find. Even Spider, the human boy who had spent most of his time with the Sully’s, can feel a difference in the atmosphere when he steps into the Sully’s home.
Jake and Neytiri’s marriage, already fragile, is now stretched to its breaking point. They’ve tried their best to keep things normal but with the responsibilities of caring for three children (four if you include Spider), and one of them a baby, and the heavy guilt of losing you and Lo’ak, they are slowly unraveling. Jake found himself retreating into his duties as the clan leader, burying himself in tasks he can control. Neytiri, once so fierce in her role as protector, found herself unable to be that same strong figure without you there to support her. They fight more now, their conversations growing sharper, more accusatory, as they both blamed the other for the rupture in their family.
While the Sullys grieved, they aren’t the only ones who feel your absence. The Omatikaya, the people who had embraced you as one of their own, mourned your departure as well. When word spread through the village that you and Lo’ak had left, an unsettling sadness settled over the clan.
You’ve always been a vital part of their community, not just as the mate of their Olo’eyktan but as a guiding force of kindness and strength. You were always willing to help, always there to offer comfort, and ready to teach and uplift those around you. Without you, the village felt less whole, less stable.
For a long time, there have been whispers among the people. Speculation of your relationship with your now ex-mates. Some had noticed the tension in your marriage, the way your light had dimmed over the years, wearing shawls to cover your exposed skin, the way you carried burdens that should not have been yours alone. No one was ever able to fully connect the dots and realize the abuse that went on behind closed doors. Everything was merely just suspicions that had never been confirmed, until you left. It became clear that with whatever was going on in your home you had reached a breaking point, which left the people questioning everything.
“What kind of leaders allow such things to happen in their own home?” one elder murmured during a private gathering. “If this can happen to her, their mate, what message does it send to the rest of the people?”
The elders, once steadfast in their loyalty to Jake and Neytiri, found themselves wondering if the couple was the best choice to lead the clan. For years, the pair had been admired by all Na’vi for their strength and leadership and their ability to guide the Omatikaya through war and hardship. But now, the cracks in their image had been exposed for all to see.
While the rest of the clan was engulfed in uncertainty, grief, and stirring up a quiet rebellion, one person who seemed the most silent, the most in control, was Mo’at. She watches as the weight of your absence pressed upon the village, sees how people whisper behind Jake and Neytiri’s backs, and how the elders exchange troubled glances. She observed the way the once-unshakable leadership of her daughter and son-in-law teetered under the weight of their own mistakes.
Despite knowing how everyone is pained by your absence she doesn’t speak. Not when Jake comes to her, desperate, his voice rough with frustration as he demands answers. Not when Neytiri, her own daughter, pleads with her, her eyes wild with unshed tears, her hands trembling as she asks, “Where has she gone, Mother? Tell me how to fix this.”
She’s seen the truth of things, the pain that stems from loving the “happy” couple. Mo’at had been there when you had come to her, broken and bruised, tears pouring from your eyes after another fight with Jake and Neytiri. She had seen the way you tried to keep everything together, how you bore the brunt of the hurt while still offering love and kindness. She had watched you endure it all, watched as you gave and gave, only to be left feeling unseen, unheard, and abused.
The day you left Mo’at had embraced you one last time, whispered a blessing over your head, and sent you on your way. Not because she didn’t love you, but because she did. Because she knew that, for the first time in a long time, you were choosing yourself, you were trying to search for happiness, something you haven’t felt in a long time.
So when the Olo’eyktan and Tsarakem are in her presence once again, asking about your whereabouts, Mo’at doesn’t give them an answer, not even a slightest clue of where on Pandora you could be making your new home.
“You do not deserve to know.” She says while facing them with an upset expression, her words filled with a heavy tone of judgment.
Jake’s frustration flares, his hands balling into a fist as if he wants to hit something. “She is my mate! Lo’ak is my son! I have a right—”
Mo’at’s throws her hand up, silencing him, not wanting to hear him speak as though he actually cares. “And did you act as though she was your mate? Did you treat her as such? Did you make her feel loved? Did you make her feel safe?”
Jake clenches his jaw, but he had no answer.
Neytiri’s voice is hoarse, mostly from crying and yelling at Jake prior to coming here. “Mother, please—”
Mo’at turned to her daughter, the disappointment in her eyes cutting deeper than any blade. “You, of all people, should have done better. She stood by you, cared for your children as if they were her own, bore the weight of your home while you and Jake were too blind to see. And when she cried for help, did you listen?”
Neytiri swallowed thickly, her head bowing in shame.
Mo’at exhaled, her voice softer now, but still firm. “Until you understand what you have done, until you know the pain you have caused her and my grandson, you will never find them.”
And with that, she says no more. She had spoken the truth, and though Jake and Neytiri were furious, neither of them could argue or muster a rebuttal. Deep down, they know they had failed you. They had failed Lo’ak. And now, it was too late to fix their mistakes.

Could you please do one where Ronal and Tonowari react to the reader or OC, which ever is more your thing, having lots of battle scars from the war in the first movie? 🧁❤️ I love your writing! It’s so awesome to read and I can’t wait for the next part of your Tonowari x Ronal x OC fanfic!
(Stunning, beautiful, elegant. Gifs by @stallislump )
Pairing: Ronal/Reader/Tonowari
Taglist: @mooniequeen
Warnings: non-gender specific reader, fluff, mentions of war, scars, heavily implied stuff (nsfw? idk, but I'd read this at work)
Na'vi Words: ikran - mountain banshee, olo'eyktan - male clan leader, tsahik - spiritual clan leader, kelku - house/home
A/N: This is short but sweet. I hope you like it! (Note: Stand alone! Not a part of the tsamsiyu ta'em series)
~~~~~~~~~
They had noticed your scars the first day they met you, a Na'vi flying in on an ikran alongside the gunship Jakesully had radioed in to help Young Kiri. They knew Sky People were coming, but they weren't expecting you.
The Metkayina have heard many stories about the clans that came together under Toruk Makto's leadership. Even from as far as the reef, the Na'vi heard about the war with the Sky People and the casualties left behind. Such war and casualties were shown on your skin, displayed like a story. Long, thin, cut-like marks ran up and down your legs and part of your torso, while small, circular scars riddled your right shoulder and chest. The skin that healed over your wounds was a pale blue compared to the rest of your skin and stripes. When Toruk Makto introduced you to the olo'eyktan and tsahik of the Metkayina, they couldn't take their eyes off of you.
Your style and the colors of your attire were not of Omatikaya. Tonowari and Ronal later learn that you were originally from the Tayrangi clan but stayed with the Omatikaya after the war. As they got to know you, they learned that your family members were great warriors but had tragically died in the battle of the Hallelujah Mountains. After their deaths, you saw no reason to return home with your clan and made a life for yourself in the forests with Toruk Makto's clan.
Considering you as an entrusted friend and ally, Jake had asked you to stay in Awa'atlu for a little while so he would feel more secure and able to protect his family. And while you stayed among the Metkayina, both Tonowari and Ronal grew closer to you and wished to learn more about you and your stories... specifically the story behind your scars.
Originally, you didn't feel inclined to share the story, simply stating that you earned your scars in the battle against the Sky People. However, as you grew closer to the Metkayina clan leaders, you began to let yourself be more open and vulnerable toward them, which is where you find yourself sitting with the pair, alone in their kelku. It was a late night and their children were out with the Sully children to show them the beauty of night fishing.
It was Tonowari who boldly reached his hand out and gently grazed a scar on your shoulder, his thumb tenderly pressing into the raised, circular mark. "Who did this to you?"
"The Sky People," you found yourself saying without hesitance, "I fell off my ikran and survived," you originally pointed to the long, thin scars you earned from falling and crashing, then you moved onto the rounded scars around your shoulder, "These scars are from their weapons made of metal. They call them guns and bullets. Any closer and they would have pierced my heart."
Neither of the clan leaders looked pleased by that statement, and Ronal took her husband's boldness a step further. The tsahik leaned down and placed a chaste kiss over a bullet-shaped scar that was located near your collar, her warm lips leaving behind a tingle underneath your skin when she pulled away.
The look she gave you sent your heart racing, her gaze heated and foggy as she stared at you through her lashes, "Thank the Great Mother that they didn't."
One thing led to another and you found yourself in the pair's undivided attention all throughout the night, together learning where each and every one of your scars were located on your body. While you weren't necessarily self-conscious about the scars (you were mostly proud and showed them off as proof that you survived and won a war), you had begun shying away from their touch whenever they got too close to any specific markings. But over time, throughout the night, you began to relax and feel safe, allowing the two Reef Na'vi to explore you in ways you've never felt before.
──────⊱⁜⊰──────
To be fair, the reef was different.
At least in the Omatikaya village, the na'vi knew you weren't RDA, that you were only fascinated with their culture and wanting to help. The trouble was, what could one small human do to aid the massive, muscular na'vi who, at every turn, always seemed to be the ones to help you out. Which is why when Norm received a help call from Jake Sully, you automatically offered yourself up for the job.
You had grown up alongside the Sully kids, always growing smaller and smaller in their eyes. Now in adulthood, you were still trying to overcome their teasing that you were still barely above their hips in their more muscular, lithe bodies,
And since the absence of the Sullys and Spider, you hardly had a reason to come around the Omatikaya village anymore. Although the science compound was tedious and cagey at times, you had traded your beautifully beaded na'vi style tops and tewngs for more "appropriate clothing". It was probably more suitable too; the older you got, the less the na'vi clothes fit your stubbornly human body. At least you were larger than na'vi in one particular place.
But as you watched the science labs fade away through the perilously open side of the helicopter, the forest too replaced by a vast stretch of ever-deepening glistening ocean, you felt a small pang inside you. It's not like you were leaving any family or friend, they were not so quite waiting for you at the reef.
Which is when it happened. You saw him.
You were always much more interested in na'vi than humans, how could you not be when they were so much more muscular, smoother, and well, bigger. But you had never seen a reef na'vi before, and on the very off chance you had carelessly thought of the Metkayina, you had forgotten to factor in their physique.
He was taller than any other na'vi you'd ever seen, his whole body broad and muscular and massive, his very toned stomach tapering into a sluttily slim waist for such a broad man and a slight x shape to where his very prominent abs met his ribcage.
As the helicopter settled on the sand, surrounded by a crowd of extremely confused and intrigued Metkayina, he was helping Neteyam keep them back. You shook your head- this was hardly the time to be drooling over handsome new boys when Kiri needed help.
Jake was running over, shouting at Norm and pulling him into a quick hug before he spotted you. He looked tired and strained and stressed, yet still managed to smile and pull you into a hug, clearly forgetting that you're a human and half-crushing you to death.
"Good to see you kid," he grins. "Well, you're hardly a kid anymore."
You had tried to help carry some of the boxes in, yet they were sized for Jake and Norm, and you were quickly left aone by the helicopter, surrounded by curious na'vi. You could tell no one saw you as a threat by the way they stared, as though you were something exotic and adorable and even amusing.
Moreover, you could feel his eyes on you, more weary and suspicious and almost taunting than his people, and you swallowed heavily before nervously making your way through the crowd and following the shapes of Jake and Norm ahead.
So maybe you hadn't had a great start with the mystery guy from the way he was staring, but you soon met him again when Ronal pulled you aside and into a marui.
There he was, standing between who was clearly Tonowari and a sweet-looking shorter girl.
"Oel ngati kameie," you said nervously, apprehensively gesturing and praying to Eywa that your voice didn't actually sound as timid and squeaky as it seemed to yourself.
The Olo'eyktan and the girl looked pleased, but he just continued to blankly and shamelessly stare at you, until your throat felt dry and the silence was starting to make you want to cry. But you refused to play into either of the roles na'vi assume of humans; the evil, power-hungry, trigger-happy demons, or the tiny timid pushovers.
"Jake Sully has requested you stay with us," Ronal finally said. "He believes you could be useful to the Metkayina."
"Well," you say, throat dry and desperately trying to keep your voice steady under the eyes of the four Metkayina. "I'm good at healing- I learnt much from the Omatikaya Tsahìk."
"This is my daughter Tsireya," Tonowari said, looking pleased with you. "She will help accustom you to our village, as well as my son, Aonung."
Instantly Aonung's eyes narrowed, and you feel your heart thud a little at the annoyance on his face at the instruction of him spending time with you.
"Father, first the Sullys and now a tawtute-"
"It is decided," Tonowari cut his son off. "The Sullys may assist you as well, and Toruk Makto tells me you are to have a human home on the edge of the village."
And that was that, apparently. No one asked you if you wanted to suddenly live in the reef, yet you had the Sullys and that was all that mattered. The small human area was hidden in the small forest beside a river and behind the Metkayina village, which was fair given the aesthetic monstrocity of it.
It was another horribly shiny metal demountable shared between you and Spider, each of you owning your own small room with a tiny cupboard, rickety bed and nothing more, and sharing a small space between.
Soon after you moved in, you could hardly get Lo'ak to move out, him and Spider always playing stupid video games and eating the shitty food you had hoarded, yet you took every chance to get outside.
It's not like you ever did much, you even managed to go the first few months without swimming or being in swimmers in front of all these beautiful na'vi, but you were determined to prove yourself.
So day after day, you worked endlessly on anything you could find to be helpful. You quickly learnt the new herbs for healing and how to navigate the bouncy village suspended over the water. You also found out the na'vi women loved your weavings and beadings, your "tiny hands" able to create very intricate works in proportion to their larger bodies.
And you found that Metkayina men were extremely intrigued by you.
You wondered if maybe Spider had blabbed to someone about you, about your greater attraction to na'vi than humans, because you suddenly found the healing marui that you often worked in when Ronal couldn't strangely often occupied by men with injuries that could have easily been healed at home or better treated by Ronal herself.
You also didn't miss their comments about the coverage of your clothing, about how small you were and the softness of your tawtute skin.
Okay so yes, maybe you were secretly crushing hard on Aonung, but the Olo'eyktans son treated you with amusement and cockiness when you happened to interact with him every now and then. So of course you were flattered by the attention of the broad strong Metkayina, and a woman has needs.
All the sexual interactions you share with the Metkayina range from adequate to somewhat satisfying, but the longer you stay in Awa'atlu and the more female friends you make, the more you hear.
All the village girls seem to talk about is Aonung, the prince of the clan. He's not exactly selective about the women he spends his time with, but his precious company is so apparently mind-blowing and pleasurable that it seems to be the most valued thing on the island.
Which is fine.
He obviously doesn't like you that much, and you'd probably have to fight off fifty village girls for that attention from him anyway. He never bothered to accustom you to the village, rather staring and glaring from the back or side as Tsireya befriended you.
And you definitely didn't make an effort to get him to look at you. No, your increasingly smaller outfits are a reflection of your growing comfort in the village and the hot temperatures of the reef. The other villagers liked your outfits though, even if they did find it strange, often asking why you wore such large clothing. So you started to phase out the cargos and massive jumpers with flowy skirts and tighter tops.
Besides, you have options, even if all your admirers are only seeking the thrill and adventure and tightness of being with a tawtute.
A shout of laughter from outside brings you back to attention, and you set down the paste you had been mixing on a small table before quietly moving over to peek out. Just as you stick your small head out, you find yourself suddenly bumped backwards as several figures walk into the healing marui.
Folding your arms and frowning at the rowdy boys, you watch them as they comfortably space out around the marui. You recognise them instantly- the three skxawngs that Aonung always seemed to hang out with.
"Can I help you?" you ask, trying not to raise your brows when Koro laughs and shoves Nashvi forward to speak to you.
"Yeah," Nashvi grins stupidly. "Us and Aonung were out by the reef when an akula attacked, and we got a few injuries."
You can't help raising your brows at this. There are only several small scratches across the boys bodies, the worst only looking five inches long on Ongu's leg. But you have a job, and you aren't about to refuse to help Aonung's friends.
"Alright, sit down," you say tiredly, reaching up to lightly lead Nashvi to the woven mat you heal on.
As you turn to gather some more ointment, you can hear the three boys chuckling stupidly behind you, but when you turn, their smiles are quickly hidden and they don't make eye contact with each other. Shrugging off your discomfort and annoyance, you lift up Nashvi's hair to apply the ointment to the scratches on his back.
They are not easy patients. They're whiny when you touch their miniscule, pointless little scratches, and they chuckle and grin shiftily at each other every time you move. It's an awkward interaction with each, and finally you can't take the silence anymore.
"What were you doing out by the reef?" you ask, in a desperate attempt to make conversation.
"Aonung wanted to hunt," Koro shrugs.
"Where is Aonung?"
They all grin again at your question, and you straighten up and frown.
"Missing your boyfriend are you?" Ongu leers.
You straighten up instantly, a frown fixed on your small face and your fist clenched slightly around the bowl.
"What are you talking about?" you say coolly, turning away from the boys under the pretence of collecting more herbs to add to the ointment.
"You're pining after him," Koro grins. "It's so obvious, all the little looks you shoot him, batting your eyelashes whenever he's around. You're so cool and all with other guys, but as soon as Aonung's around you're acting like a little lovestruck prolemuris."
"I do not," you say hotly, forgetting to act cool and hide the deep flush across your cheeks.
"Please," Nashvi scoffs. "You couldn't be more obvious if you tried."
Your face is growing hotter and hotter, and when you turn around, you find that the three boys have crept slightly closer, so now you're stuck between them.
"I don't have a crush on Aonung," you lie, knowing full well that you aren't convincing anyone. "I don't even like him."
"These little outfits say otherwise," Koro grins, reaching out to pinch your hip.
You jerk away from the contact, the bare skin of your hip between your top and low skirt burning slightly from his touch and the accusation of his words.
"Fuck off," you grumble, pushing at his hands as he reaches towards you again.
"What happened to the sweet little girl whenever he's around?"
"She's about to do worse than those little scratches if you don't stop touching me," you growl, hoping you sound braver than you feel. Hot mortification is spreading through your body. Had you really been that obvious? Koro, Ongu and Nashvi are just laughing stupidly, watching you grow more and more flustered as you try to figure out what to say, or at least how to get away.
"You are rude skxawngs," you snap. "I helped you out, now leave me alone."
"Why?" Nashvi grins. "We're just having a little fun with you, tawtute."
"Why do you wear such big clothes anyway?" Ongu leers. "I know they're getting smaller for Aonung, but if you want his attention you should just take it all off."
You growl as they reach for your clothes again.
"Tell Aonung that-"
"Tell me what?" a deep voice says from the entrance.
Immediately, all four of your gazes flick to see Aonung leaning against the entrance, a small frown pinching between his brows as he stares at his friends.
"That you need to find better friends," you huff, reaching to flatten your hair and pull your skirt down.
"She's just being grumpy," Koro laughs. "We were having a fun conversation with her."
"Yeah, it was real fun," you snap, flushing crimson as Aonung's gaze flicks back to you. "Especially when you kept touching me."
Aonung's frown deepens when you feel his gaze pass over the redness their pinches left over your hip, and you brush your hair out of your face.
"Okay, I fixed up your little scratches," you scowl to Koro, Ongu and Nashvi, as Aonung just stares dully at you. "You can fuck off now."
"Careful with your mouth," Nashvi grins. "You aren't as attractive when you aren't smiling, tawtute."
"Get out," you growl, straightening to your full height, but still shorter than their crouched figures.
They just laugh stupidly, and you're growing more and more flustered and annoyed. You are torn between wanting to shout and curl up in a ball and cry until they get uncomfortable and leave, when Koro pulls the last straw.
"It's a shame that such a pretty little thing has no humour," he grins to his friends. "You know I'd-"
"Out," you shout.
They don't look at all as though they're going to leave, but then Aonung shoots them a certain sort of look you miss, because your heart is pounding fast and angry tears are stinging your eyes.
You're mortified, that they knew about your crush, that they managed to get so far under your skin, that everyone had so little respect for you that they only listen when Aonung tells them to do something.
As they file out, you can hear them snickering to each other, and their gazes blazing on your bowed head as they walk away.
"You can leave too," you say off-handedly, turning away so your back is to Aonung.
"Oh?" Aonung asks, his voice deep and amused. "You're going to kick me out of my own mum's marui?"
"Yes," you grumble, sitting down and glaring at him. "You're a grown man Aonung, you can fuck off out of your mummies hut."
"Also your Olo'eyktan," he points out.
"Not yet," you seethe.
Aonung just laughs, his massive body still leaning against the entrance as he stares down at you, blue eyes sparkling with amusement.
"Are you alright?" he asks, once he stops laughing. You frown at the slight concern in his voice before glaring up at him.
"Yes I'm fine," you snap. "Now are you done?"
Aonung just stares for a few more seconds before he pushes off the wall and walks over to you.
Oh Eywa's just playing a fucking game with you right now. Aonung reaches out, lightly taking your small head in his hand and gently tilting your face up towards him with a soft hand.
"Is what they said true?" he asks quietly.
"Aren't you the one that finds my crush obvious as fuck?" you snap.
But you don't pull away, and you both know it. Instead, you just stay put little a stupid good girl and stare up at him, waiting for what he's about to do.
"I'm fucking pathetic, I know," you whisper. "I have to work my ass off just to get the tiniest bit of recognition, and this is the longest we've ever spoken. All you do is glare at me from other sides of the village, and I still liked you."
"You're not," Aonung says. "Pathetic, I mean. They're just skxawngs."
"They're your friends," you point out. "They're the ones that knew I liked you, that just come and fucking taunt me and touch me and-"
"Let me see," Aonung cuts you off.
You scowl at him and try to push him away, but he just easily grabs your wrist and peers around you to see your hips, where the mark is still red against your skin.
"It's not a big deal," you growl. "I just don't need shit for having a stupid crush. No one ever needed to know and it wasn't hurting anyone. If I knew what skxawngs you and your friends are, I'd never like you."
"This skirt is thin," is all Aonung says. "And short. Tawtute clothing is strange, but this one is small compared-"
"It was for you!" you snap. "All the stupid dressing up and acting nice and being sweet and trying to be pretty just so you would stop glaring and look at me for ONCE!"
Aonung's frown deepens slightly, like he's confused, like you aren't making any sense. Stupid alien boys, so oblivious to everything around them.
"I am looking at you," he says quietly.
"No," you hiss. "You're looking down on me like always, just because I'm a human-"
Your voice dies in your throat when Aonung instantly sits beside you, his hands picking you up as though you weigh nothing and placing you gently in his massive lap.
Your faces are a foot apart, your hands immediately falling to his shoulder to steady yourself, an unnecessary action given that he's easily holding you by your waist.
"Better?" he asks sincerely, as though he genuinely thought this would help.
You can hardly breathe over the pounding of your heart. You are nervous and pissed and terrified and also fucking horny.
Oh Eywa, how is he doing this- just instantly making you forget everything that happened by placing you on his lap and staring at you with those large blue eyes.
"What are you doing here Aonung?" you say tiredly.
His ears prick up at the sound of his name, the first time he's heard you speak it. You can hardly miss the sway of his tail behind you.
"Injury," he shrugs.
You scoff, and he turns to frown at you.
"I am injured," he frowns. "I went to my mother and she told me to come to you."
"She did?" you ask, confused. "If you're hurt, why would she tell you to come to me?"
"So I could hear your great love confession?" Aonung shrugs, eyes sparkling with amusement.
You growl and make to stand up, but his hands keep you firmly planted in his lap.
"Trying to leave now?" he asks. "Don't you want to help me paksalin?"
"Don't call me that," you hiss.
"You don't like it?" Aonung asks, looking confused.
"You're being mean," you say finally. "Everyone was right about you- you're a skxawng playboy."
"Playboy?" Aonung asks, sounding out the human word with confusion.
"Yeah," you say. "Like a slut."
Aonung laughs in surprise, brows raising at your annoyance with him.
"I thought you were all meek and sweet," he says finally.
"Not anymore," you grumble. "Cat's out of the bag sweetie, so I can go back to being a bitch again. Now let me go so I can help you out."
To your surprise, he instantly obeys, letting his arms drop to his sides so you can clamber out of his lap and collect your paste again. When you turn back, you notice the injury.
"You're hurt."
It's a blunt statement, and you're pointing out the obvious. Aonung has a no shit sort of look on his face, before he notices your concern.
"It's alright," he says gently. "I just got a little scraped by the akula."
"Aonung, there's an akula tooth stuck in your arm," you say, instantly kneeling beside him.
"There is?" he says, sounding interested. "Huh."
"Huh?" you hiss incredulously. "There is a three inch tooth stuck in your arm and you say HUH?"
Aonung just shrugs, and you crouch down to study it, before gently cleaning it up. He hisses a little when you first wipe over the wound, but he just grits his teeth and sits still with patience his skxawng friends could never possess.
"I should probably take this out," you say, once you've wiped all the blood that you can manage to, and placing a comforting, steady hand on the strong muscles of his shoulder.
"Fine," he grumbles.
"I'll be gentle," you promise. "It'll come nice and easy."
"That's what I want to hear," he says, smirking.
Your mouth parts in amused incredulity, and you lightly smack his shoulder as he turns his head to grin cheekily at you.
"Stay still," you instruct. "Straighten up like this, and try not to move too much. Now, just breathe."
Trying to ignore the very persistent flow of blood as you gently grab the top of the tooth, you start to very slowly pull it out.
"Ow," he hisses, his hand instantly jumping to take yours.
"Sorry," you say, giving his own hand a reassuring squeeze, and he quickly shakes his head and swallows.
"I'm all good, just pull it out fast."
"That's what I want to hear," you ask teasingly, and he laughs a little.
His laugh quickly turns into a groan of pain as you use his amusement as a distraction and yank the tooth out.
"Fuck," he hisses under his breath.
"Good job," you say, as though you're treating a child and patting his head like a good boy. "Here, you can keep the tooth as a souvenir."
"Tawtute," he says gently, before you can leave.
"Yeah?"
"You aren't pathetic, liking me-"
"Yeah, you're very handsome and cool and hot, I get it," you say, rolling your eyes. "Listen Aonung."
And he does, looking up at you like a little puppy sitting on the woven floor, waiting patiently for you to speak.
"I never thought anything would come out of my crush, and I don't expect anything to come out of it. I'll get over it, just please, forget about it."
Aonung's slowly frowning.
"Tawtute, then what about the others?"
"What others?" you sigh, eager to get away and just disappear into your bed forever.
"I hear stuff too," Aonung shrugs. "From other guys."
"Like who?" you snap, growing more and more impatient.
It's like he's a little child sometimes, trying to figure out what he wants to say and then actually speaking the words, as though every sentence is taking every fibre of his being to utter.
"Ta'ru, Moy'ka, Khalo," Aonung shrugs. At that, your eyes widen and your face flushes. Those names are extremely familiar, ones that may be found at the bottom of my little black book.
"Oh my god," you groan, covering your face so he won't see your desperate flush.
"They seemed to really like you as well," Aonung grins. "Heard that you can be a feisty little-"
You glower at him and he cuts himself off with a shameless shrug, as though he knows you can't be mad at him.
"Fuck off Aonung," you snarl. "Just because I had a crush on you doesn't mean I'm gonna take shit from you."
"I'm just saying," the Metkayina shrugs. "You have excellent taste in men, but why are you messing around with the likes of Ta'ru and Moy'ka?"
"Well I don't have too many options, do I?" you growl. "How do you think it feels to be someone who's only options are only seeking the thrill and adventure and tightness of being with a tawtute?"
Aonung pauses, like he hadn't thought about it like that. You know he didn't mean to offend, just tease and taunt you just as he had with Lo'ak and Kiri when they first arrived in Awa'atlu, but his words stung deep.
You couldn't just mess around with anyone you liked, because really you only liked him and he knew that, and that pissed you off more than anything else.
"Just pull your massive head out of your skxawng ass for two seconds and see that not everyone has admirers falling out of the sky and at their fucking feet all the time, that I have to work tirelessly to prove myself and that the only release I can scrounge up is with the likes of Ta'ru and Moy'ka!"
You sigh heavily, not exactly regretting raising your voice at Aonung, yet it didn't bode well that you just insulted and shouted at the future Olo'eyktan.
Aonung is just watching you, his large blue eyes flicking over your agitated face, flushed deep pink and your smaller, duller eyes stinging with furious, mortifying tears.
You can't bear the pity in his eyes, can't bring yourself to listen to whatever he's about to say when he opens his mouth.
"I have worked enough today," you say stiffly, careful to act with appropriate respect, "tell your mother I went home and I'll need more pearls and shells for the beadings."
"Tawtute-"
You quickly turn, hating yourself for your timid, cowardly retreat from the hut with his ocean eyes fixed directly onto you, and slip off through the village.
For a moment, you think he might have tried to follow you by the creaking of the woven village pathway behind you, but you quickly manage to slip between maruis and bustling Metkayina and leave the village.
You can feel your heart pounding loudly, everything so awkwardly silent as you run towards your monstrocity of a home that you feel completely alone in the forest.
Spider isn't there when you fling open your door and bury your face in your pillow.
You just sit in silence, face-down and not bothering to take off your expopack yet.
Fuck, you messed up.
You confessed your crush, then flirted with him, then shouted at him, then ran away like the tiny coward the na'vi assume of humans.
Fuck Aonung.
-ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
So maybe you actually were a tiny coward. Yes, you were a fiesty, flaming bitch at heart, but when it came down to the mortification you had faced in that marui with Aonung, not even your sheer stubbornness and determination to shout down anyone in your path could make you leave your home.
So, shamefully, the next days passed with you cooped up in your tiny home, back to wearing your massive ass jumpers over your lazy loungewear. Spider and Lo'ak didn't question your state - you suspect they know exactly what happened - they just moved over on the worn, already cramped sofa and passed you another remote.
The days were considerably shorter than normal when you're self isolating in what is basically a small tin shack, eating shitty food and binging hours of trashy television in the discomfort of your rickety bed.
Which is why, on the fourth morning away from the Metkayina village, you weren't at all surprised to hear the shouts of Spider and Lo'ak's familiar laugh from outside.
You had lazily woken up late in your bra and comfy, heart-patterned boy-short pyjamas that barely covered half your ass and thrown on your massive jumper, which hung a third of the way to your knees, grumbling to yourself that there were the boys outside and you couldn't just spend the rest of the day in your underwear.
When you finally left your room and stomped out to make a coffee in the tiny, tinny kitchen, you were too tired and uninterested to notice the suspiciously gleeful looks shot in your direction.
"Morning," Spider finally chirps.
"Is it?" you grumble, not looking up at your roommate as you slump into the creaky chair by the bench and dully watch the coffee drip monotonously into your chipped, yellowed mug.
Lo'ak snickers at your slumped back as you don't bother turn around to look in their direction.
"Someone's here for you," Spider grins, and you can hear the barely concealed amusement in his voice as you roll your eyes.
"I don't feel being squashed between your and Lo'ak's fat asses and playing video games right now," you sigh. "I can't be fucked for another day spent moping on that old, shitty sofa."
"Aw, is the little tawtute still upset about her little crush on the Metkayina prince?"
"Hardly," you scoff.
You snatch your chipped mug from the machine and just resigning yourself as the coffee continues to drip down onto the tinny bench, no longer having the patience for the infuriatingly slow drip of your greatest necessity before continuing.
"I should have realised what a cocky, brainless, dull, oblivious, pestering, rude, taunting, tiny-dick skxawng-"
"Hey," a deep voice protests from the sofa.
A very familiar voice.
With a surge of horror and a deep desire to strangle and castrate Lo'ak and Spider, you see Aonung grinning at you.
Fuck, how can he manage to look good here, cramped in this ridiculously small shack that barely even fits you, in the horribly white light that flickered every five damn minutes and sprawled casually on that worn old couch?
His large blue eyes are glittering with amusement, looking large and more muscular than ever in the tiny living room.
"What are you doing here?" you breathe, torn between annoyance with the three skxawngs grinning at you, a desire to storm back into your room with your coffee and slam the door in their faces, and a conflicted delight and slight surge of desire at Aonung here in your house.
"Lo'ak asked me if I wanted to play video games," Aonung shrugs.
Lo'ak just rolls his eyes and says, "No, I said you'd been in your room for the last few days playing video games with us when he asked me why you hadn't been coming around the village. Then he said he'd never played video games, and I said I was coming here again, and then the skxawng just decided to come along."
"Right," Aonung concludes, shooting Lo'ak a scathing look.
"Right," you say too, unimpressed and unconvinced. "Well it's a bit cramped in here. Maybe you should leave."
"No, we'll go," Spider grins, nudging Lo'ak, who also smirks. "You guys have fun, and make good choices!"
"Spider!" you hiss, but your two ridiculously infuriating friends had already extricated themselces from the demountable and disappeared between the sparse forest that hid your human home. You can hear their snickers as they move towards the village and away from the situation they left you in.
Some friends.
You huff an annoyed sigh before lifting your coffee to your lips and taking a small sip. You are staring directly at Aonung, who's shifting slightly on the couch, but you're determing to not back down this time.
Mostly because there's nowhere left your you to run away and hide, now that Aonung has invaded your home.
There's a few moments of tense silence where you continue to sip your coffee and coldly study him.
"I brought you shells pearls," Aonung blurts, nose scrunching slightly.
You raise your brows at him, surprised that he caved to your silent coldness so fast. When you don't reply, he continues.
"Like you asked. Before you left. You told me that you needed more pearls and shells for your beading... so I thought... maybe..."
At your continued cool silence, Aonung trails off. You're surprised to see a faint purple tinge to his handsome face.
Is he blushing? Is he nervous?
At this realisation, that the cocky prince of the clan in front of you was nervous because of you, an idea clunks into place.
A risky idea for sure, but it was hardly like you could get any more mortified, and an opportunity like this, to have Aonung like this, didn't come every day.
"Why are you here?" you ask dully, finally setting your coffee down with a decisive chink and pinning him under the full attention of your gaze.
"I - um - brought you the shells and pearls-" he starts to say.
"Not because of the shells and pearls."
It wasn't a question, it was a statement. An obvious statement, at that.
"Or the video games," you add, eyes narrowing slightly. "Why are you here, Aonung?"
"You haven't been coming around the village," he swallows.
"I've been busy,"you shrug.
You're horribly aware that your hair is a mess, that you are wearing nothing but a bra and practically underwear under your massive jumper.
Aonung also seems to notice your sloppy and careless appearance, or at least your hair (you pray to Eywa he doesn't notice your clothing, or lack thereof) but he doesn't point your laziness out, which is wise of him.
He reaches for the mask Lo'ak often uses and takes a deep inhale.
"My mother wishes you come back soon," Aonung mutters.
"And you?" you ask coolly. "Ronal would have told me herself- she has no qualms with coming to visit me here by the river. So what do you want?"
A heartbeat of silence. Aonung blinks. You raise your brows.
"I'm sorry."
The words hang in the air for a moment, trapped, no doubt, between the stifling walls of the ridiculously small room, between you seated at the rickety table and Aonung's much larger, stronger body seated at the peeling sofa.
"It's probably good you weren't around the village lately," Aonung says offhandedly, his voice growing somewhat stronger as you don't yell at him again. "Koro, Ongu and Nashvi were in need of some healing."
"From what?" you roll your eyes. "A prolemuris bite? A stubbed toe?"
"Well," Aonung says, looking more encouraged now, "someone may have beat them up a little for teasing and taunting and being skxawngs."
You look up at that, and find an adorably self-pleased expression on Aonung's face.
"And why would someone do that?" you ask.
"Maybe they wanted to show they were sorry?" Aonung grins. "And they knew it would take more than shells and pearls for forgiveness."
"Why do you want forgiveness?" you sigh, leaning forward on the table to stare better at him.
Aonung sits up and shifts on the sofa, clearly making room for you.
You aren't sure you want to, unsure what will happen if you're that close to him, but you can't help it.
Despite your pretences of confidence and annoyance with him that veneered your facade of sweetness and kindness you had hoped would gain his attention and even affection, you were just a people pleaser.
And all you really wanted was to please Aonung.
So you picked yourself off, leaving your coffee to grow cold and doubtless forgotten about on the creaky table.
You settled into the sofa besides Aonung, trying to ignore how annoyingly, incredibly, deliciously massive he is as he blinks down at you.
"You are small," he says. "And meek yet furious at the same time. I can't figure you out at all, and you intrigue me, tawtute."
"How flattering," you say dully, and Aonung frowns, as though that was not the reaction he was expecting. "If you fought Ongu and Nashvi and Koro then why aren't you injured?"
"I'm a good fighter?" Aonung shrugs, looking pleased with himself.
You know that well- the Metkayina training grounds for warriors were across from the village, and the closest marui to it was the healing one you often occupied, given that most injuries came from the warriors.
So when you could get away with it, you would peek out the entrance of the healing marui to watch the warriors train. All large muscular men and lithe beautiful women. But no matter who you distracted yourself with, your eyes would always drift back to Aonung.
The way his jokey demeanour vanished the instant he had an opponent, the swiftness of each of his calculated movements, the way you knew, even though you could never hear, that he was taunting and glaring and ridiculing his opponent between powerful blows.
It attracted you more than you'd like to admit, the way he was effortlessly than the others, the ease with which he could toss his opponents around. And when he won, his muscles gleaming with laborious perspiration and a grin fixed on his handsome face...
It was all very attractive.
"Yes yes," you say instead, biting your cheek to stop from rolling your eyes. "You're very strong and incredible."
"You don't sound convinced," Aonung narrows his eyes at you.
You squint back. He really is brainless, just a pretty hunk.
You said what you said and you meant it - and now you don't need him acting all confused when you don't fawn all over him, batting you eyelashes and twirling your hair and practically sucking his dick.
It really is a cocky, brainless, dull, oblivious, pestering, rude, taunting, tiny-dick skxawng thing for him to do - finally speaking to you, looking at you, even trying to flirt with you just as you decide to let it go, set your sights away from him.
So you straighten up to your full height, still several feel smaller even sitting down, and wait as he opens his mouth.
"You confuse me tawtute," Aonung admits.
"No shit, given that you have as many braincells as men I can pull," you mutter, raising your brows at him.
Aonung huffs in annoyance, and you fold your arms further.
"Bold of you," you scowl. "To act like you're the annoyed one after the other day."
"Well," Aonung huffs, blinking furiously, looking torn between confusion and continued, unjust annoyance.
"Well what?" you snap. "Whenever I'm around the village I'm just the tawtute, and now you come into my house, the only place I can just relax-"
"This is my village," Aonung says stiffly.
You blink.
"Oh," you seethe. "So that's what this is about."
"What?"
"That the entitled Olo'eyktan's son is shocked to have someone tell him how it is, to not be beloved and cherished all the fucking time, to not have someone sucking his dick every-"
"I wouldn't protest," Aonung shrugs, smirking down at you before taking another breath from the mask.
You blink again. Just as you think you've called him out, that maybe a word you say will manage to penetrate through that perfect hair and gorgeous head of his- he manages to prove you wrong.
You just growl in irritation and stand back up, storming back towards your room and not bothering to turn back to him.
As you predicted, your coffee lies cold and dreary and lonesome, forgotten on that creaky table in your irritation with him and his stupid damn confusion with you.
"You can let yourself out."
But he doesn't, he just follows you into your room as you flop down onto your bed.
You glare at him, shocked that he has that much nerve to follow you into your room when you clearly don't want to see him.
Spider definitely wouldn't be brave enough to bother you right now, and Lo'ak or Neteyam probably would also be apprehensive.
But cocky, stubborn Aonung just ducks his massive frame through the doorway - a tight squeeze but he somehow manages - and peers hazily around your room.
Of course, the demountable you and Spider call home was built with Jake and Norm in mind, yet Aonung's head was taller than both other men, his braided bun inches away from scraping the ceiling.
From the bed you continue to glare at him, silent and glowering as he raises his eyebrows at the underwhelming room.
"So this is your room?" he asks, eyes darting back to you. "I always imagined it more..."
There's apparently no words his five brain cells can find, and you roll your eyes again.
"Not everyone can live in the nicest marui in the village," you point out. "Not everyone can live in the village at all.
Aonung sighs again, before his eyes light up and he spots something.
"Don't touch my stuff," you grumble, but he's already stooping his massive body to something.
"What is this?" he asks earnestly.
"What is what-" you snap, before your eyes widen in horror and your mouth parts in silent mortification.
Looking comically small in his ridiculously large hands is your underwear. And to your absolute fucking horror, it just has to be your smallest thong, black and delicate and a little lacy.
"Give that here," you huff, instantly leaping up and trying to snatch it back. Aonung's grin only widens when he realises what it is, and you think you could die of mortification right then and there on your bedroom floor in front of the metkayina prince.
"How come you never wore this around the village?" Aonung chuckles, easily holding it up from your limited reach. "I can promise you, this would grab much more attention than your other tawtute clothing."
You attempt to snatch it back again, face flushed to a deep red now, and he just laughs again.
He looks down at you and frowns at the massive jumper hanging halfway to your knees.
"And why are you back to wearing those cloaks and blankets?"
"It's a jumper," you say hotly, feeling your face flush that the realising that Aonung had noticed you, or at least the difference between short skirts and tanks and your oversized "blankets".
"And it's comfy, much more so then all the little stuff I tried before."
Aonung just huffs slightly, eyes trailing shamelessly over you again.
"Spider wears a tewng," Aonung reasons. "Besides, these things are much smaller than out clothing anyway."
You gape and shove at him. Predicably, his massive body doesn't move in the slightest. Aonung frowns, and you can guess what he's thinking.
Na'vi are completely comfortable in their bodies- which is easy when they're all slim and muscular and tall and perfect.
You on the other hand, are not. You aren't big by human standards by any means, yet the love and affection you harboured for your body when with the humans had slightly dissipated when surrounded by gorgeous na'vi all the time.
So even though you have put in the efforts to dress for attention, you were always careful not to show too much, which is what stirred the attention of the other male na'vi.
What lay below the strange tawtute clothing- what is so much softer and curvier than na'vi women that you keep teasing them with, yet keep tantalisingly hidden.
But then a thought occurs to you, and it makes you... more interested, or so to speak.
Aonung is curious about you- and you know what you want. It's not like you're expecting anything beyond sex- even that is a stretch -with the handsome, desirable na'vi man.
It's not every day you have this opportunity, to have Aonung like this, all curious about you for the first time since you arrived in the reef, despite months of hoping desperately he'd at least look at you.
So the idea forms in your head, the way you can finally get the Metkayina princes attention.
He is intrigued by you, and you have no hesitation to assume that means in the same lustful, experimentative way other na'vi men have been.
"Why?" you grin. "Do you want to see me in it?"
Aonung freezes. His eyes gaze from the tiny thong to you and back to the skimpy, lacy black material.
"I- if you'd like," he says off-handedly, and you smile to yourself.
He's right where you'd like him. Tantalised by the offer you pose, intrigued by what you've hinted but hidden since you've arrived in the reef.
So slowly, he sinks onto your bed and you slide away the little boy-short pyjamas you had been wearing under the jumper.
"Do you-"
You cut Aonung off with a sly grin, slowly lifting your the sides of your large jumper.
"No need sweetheart," you grin. "I'm already wearing some."
Aonung's ears flatten instantly at the word sweetheart, one you know he doesn't understand judging from his expression trying to interpret if that's a good or bad thing.
But then his eyes fall onto you, and you automatically find his hands on your hips and tugging you closer.
And you know you didn't make a mistake.
He lets out a small hiss, as though he didn't even notice he did, at the sight of your body from underneath your massive jumper.
None of the na'vi - besides your casual partners - had ever seen you in something this small before.
None had seen the squidge of your ass and thighs, the smooth supple skin cloaking your curves.
The men had said it all before- how soft you are, how small you are, just how much give you have.
Na'vi women are all lean muscle, yet the pure humanity of your body lies in the squishiness of it, in your ass and thighs and chest and stomach in ways na'vi would never have.
And then Aonung's hands are on you, kneading your ass, eyes staring down at the way your body moves and jiggles with his slightest touch, pupils blown wide as they are when na'vi make tsaheylu.
It's something that never ceases to send a shiver through you - the awe and delight and worship with which na'vi seem to find in your strange squishy body,
Then he's looking at you, and his usually baby blue eyes are dark and rough like the deep oceans. It's exactly what you were hoping for, the hunger and desire in his handsome face as he stares, seated but still slightly taller on your bed.
"Take this off."
It isn't a question or a request, it's a fucking order. For the first time, it strikes you that he really is going to be Olo'eyktan, just by the forceful defiance in his deep voice fuelled by his sudden interest.
Hook, line, and sinker.
You push away slightly and he's frowning like drawing away from him is a goddamn dereliction.
Aonung's impatient, no sooner have you lifted up your jumper over your waist when he's tearing it up and over your shoulders and tossing it into the corner of the room.
"Pxasìk," he mutters, staring straight at you.
It's in no means meant to be a sexy outfit, just a simple thong and bra, but the way Aonung just stares at you is like he's seeing something completely new.
He's not foreign to females- you'd heard quite enough tales about his various exploits, but he looks like a teenage boy seeing his first pair as his gaze flicks up to your face, then he reaches out.
His hands are just this side of too rough, and you can almost feel yourself melting away in his hands that are larger than your head.
You let out a small whimper as he squeezes, and you feel the last strings of his restraint snaps.
Aonung finally picks you up, one hand holding you up by the waist. His casual display of strength is fucking dizzying, and you feel yourself getting wet before he crashes his lips onto yours and drops you in the nest of his lap.
Kissing is not something you are accustomed to when you need to wear your expopack all the fucking time, and you're half terrified about how the last time you kissed someone was a human scientist at least a year ago.
But it's hard to think, so you just lean into him.
The kiss is messy and airless and hardly graceful, but you wouldn't have it any other fucking way. You're all greedy and breathless, desperate for anything, his soft lips against your own, his amber and sea-salt scent, his warm that you nearly forget about everything else and get lost in the kiss.
You've never kissed like this, been kissed like this.
He's just as hungry as you are, but kissing a na'vi is different.
He's just so fucking... big.
His hands are holding you everywhere- your waist, your ass, your tits, your thighs. He's tilting you this way and that and opening you up to deepen the kiss. His face is so large, the force and hunger and ferocity with which he's kissing you practically about to send you bending backwards if it wasn't for him clutching you tight to him.
It's hot and hungry, almost animalistic as his fangs lightly sink into your lip. You moan like a fucking whore into his mouth, and his textured, massive tongue lightly licks the blood away as he shifts.
It's just a warm, horny mess between the two of you, full of teeth and tongue and your tiny whimpers at each movement of his hands over your skin.
And suddenly it's all getting to much, the sudden emptiness in you that only he can fill, and you're gasping for breath and pulling away to stare at him.
Aonung too is breathless, head automatically following yours but you place a hand on his chest to stop him.
"Aonung breathe."
He grunts his objection to your words.
"I can hold my breath underwater for-"
"I can't have the future Olo'eyktan dying on my bed," you say, smiling at his indignation to stop kissing you.
"I'm fine," he grumbles.
"Well I won't be able to drag your massive body out if you do pass out," you point out.
"Aw, are you going to try and rescue me?"
"No, I need to hide the evidence," you quip.
Aonung wrinkles his nose at you, but you just thrust the mask at him. With a childish eye-roll, he takes a deep inhale before disregarding his very vital possession and crashing his lips back onto yours.
You find yourself growing more comfortable. Aonung is hungry for anything, his muscles tensing when you make certain movements, and you find yourself doing them again.
Tugging him closer by his necklace. Lightly brushing your nails up his back. Threading your fingers into his braided bun.
When you lightly tug on his soft braided hair, he growls a little and shifts you closer. When you trace your tongue gently across his fangs, his grip tightens suddenly around your ass.
"You're so soft syulang," he whispers.
The sound of his voice all deep and gravelly, his breath all hot and heavy on your neck, his hands roving over every single inch of your skin, it's all just so.... much.
You miss his mouth on yours, but soon enough it's kissing its way down your neck. Each shaky breath of yours is met with him on your neck and collar, lips pressing, tongue lightly licking at your skin, sucking and kissing.
You were familiar enough with this- na'vi men were territorial creatures. But you had never seen any girls from Aonung's little black book walking around with hickeys, and at the rate he was going, your whole neck would just be one fat love bite.
And you'd be fine with that.
You feel his nose nudging lightly against you, breathing you in as his lips brush over your collar. Scenting you.
His sudden gentleness with you doesn't quite create the friction you so desperately need right now, but his hands trailing and squeezing and exploring your smaller body satiate you. For now.
Then the ferocity is suddenly back, and he's nipping at your body again. A moment later, you realise that he must have only been satisfied because now you smell faintly like him, like amber and sea-salt, yet you know to another na'vi, his mark on you would be almost overwhelming.
When he finally reaches your bra - you could tell he'd been savouring this moment, kissing his way down to it - you can see the hungry gleam in his glittering blue eyes, his tail flicking excitedly behind him and an insatiable smile on his handsome face, fangs poking lightly through his soft lips.
And like you'd thought, he's impatient and greedy and ravenous. He doesn't bother with the delicate clasp, no doubt guessing the struggles na'vi endured with their massive fingers against the small clinch, simply ripping it straight off your body.
"You ass," you gasp, looking helplessly at the pieces of what was once your bra tossed carelessly from the bed. "We live on a fucking island, where am I meant to get another br-"
"I'll make you more," Aonung promises. "I'll make you ten tops."
You highly doubt that- Aonung doesn't seem, or at least what you'd heard about his playboy experiences, like the sort for after care let alone gift giving.
But your half-hearted annoyance and indignance dies in your damn throat when his hands enclose your tits.
"You're - fuck- you're so small, syulang," he grunts, staring wide-eyed down at you.
Indeed, you'd never felt smaller against a na'vi then right now. Held in his warm lap, one of his hands big enough to hold both your breasts, both large enough to wrap around your whole body.
The thought of that makes you moan unconsciously, and Aonung blinks at you in surprise. You don't bother to play anything cool; with his hands where they are, he can feel how hot and nervous and hungry you are.
And when he meets your eyes again, you can see he feels the same.
Suddenly you're being laid back against your bed and Aonung's comfortingly heavy figure is over you, hands holding you tightly as his lips brush against your breasts.
It's an unexpected movement, one that has you arching in surprise, pushing your chest up and opening it all up to him
He goes on without hesitation, licking over your tit gently, grinning a little at your whine, the stark contrast of your smooth supple skin against his rough tongue just driving you fucking crazy.
He wraps his lips around your nipple and suckles at it, before he nips lightly at the underside of your tit.
And then you're arching and whining and tangling your fingers in his hair, and then he's kissing down your stomach and sliding away your thong before you even know what's fucking happening.
"Wait!" you gasp, cupping his face away from your cunt to get him to look at you.
"Yes, syulang?"
"This is your first time," you say, trying to swallow heavily. "With a human."
Aonung just blinks, looking confused and slightly offended that you're stopping him from doing as he was going to.
"Don't... um... I should be making this good for you," you breathe shakily. "I want to make you feel good- to... um..."
Aonung just laughs as though you're being hilarious, and reaches up to pat your hair with one massive, warm hand.
"Mawey tawtute," he grins. "I want to make you feel good too."
"But-" you say, face twisted with worry, but once fucking again, he manages to kill your words.
He kisses the soft, squishiness of your thigh, inches away from your bare pussy, and you gasp lightly as he sucks a sweet purple bruise into the soft skin.
Then, eyes looking carefully up at you to see your reaction, he lightly sinks his fangs into your leg. You gasp so loudly you think they might hear you in the village, hands instantly leaping to find balance in his braided hair.
The sting is a welcome, warm pain, especially when he lightly licks away the droplet of blood and brushes your clit with a large turquoise finger.
You can't speak, just scrunch your nose tightly, grip onto his braids for dear life as he muscles his way in between your thighs and goes to fucking town.
His mouth is fucking massive- his hands are massive, pinning your hips down.
You're squirming from the moment he gets onto you, sucking lightly at your clit, a delighted, puppy-playful glint in his large blue eyes, tossing your legs over his shoulders so his face is pressed even closer to you.
He suckles at you so eagerly, tongue stroking over your hole, over and over and over. You can't help it, the way you're simultaneously squirming away from the overwhelming pleasure of it all and the way you're rutting your hips into his face.
"Fu- fuck, Aonung."
It's all messy, you're so wet, his face is shining with your slick and his spit, and he slides a finger back and dips it in.
Instantly you gasp, jolting upwards and arching your back high to the ceiling. Aonung's about to grumble at your squirming when you tug at his hair and he groans.
"Sorry, sorry," you whisper, flushed with mortification.
Aonung just looks up at you and grins, kissing your hip lightly and mumbling against your lips,
"Go ahead syulang."
He slides a second finger in beside the first one, easing them together, fuelled by your breathless moans and groaning into your clit as you tug at his braids with each helpless squirm, his deep rumbles vibrating warmly against you.
He has a look on his face that tells you plainly- he's enjoying this as much as you do. It's in the glint of his eyes and his wide smile.
And the way his tail is thumping happily behind him, unrestrained and untethered, telling you one thing.
He's fucking hard.
You notice it by the way his hips are tilted, rutting slightly against the mattress, but he seems unwilling to take his hands away from you, from the curve of your ass and your slick.
And you want to help, so you squirm a little more to slide down to reach him.
"Aonung, don't you want to just-"
"Just one," he pleads, looking up at you.
It's crazy, how someone that's twice your size and has no fucking idea what it is can look as an adorable as a puppy when he wants to.
And who are you to deny the Metkayina Prince?
So you just accept your fate and hope to eywa you don't black out too fast, clinging to his braids and trying to muffle your moans into your hand.
Your legs begin to shake around his head, eyes rolling all the way back as you moan louder and claw at your rickety brass bed head.
Then, when you accidentally jerk and squeeze your legs around his face, he moans shamelessly against you and that's all it takes.
With a hand clasped tight over your mouth to muffle your moans of pleasure, coming undone on his tongue, clamping down on his fingers and leaping head first off the edge you'd been teetering on.
You have no idea what to do, just know you're rocking aimlessly against his face, crying out and holding onto him for dear life.
He continues through it all, licking and kissing and nipping and sucking with such fervour that you think he might just pull your soul out of your pussy, eyes watching you with desperate lust yet also with sweet curiousity.
Whether you're conscious or unconscious you don't know, all you can sense is the overwhelming waves of pleasure crashing again and again over you.
"Holy shit," you breathe, finally coming down and lightly tugging at his braids. "Aonung come on, let's find something for you."
Aonung frowns, clearly wanting to keep going, but he obliges when you grin and brush your fingers over his face.
He's all dopey and messy and gorgeous, face shining like the fucking ocean, but he just wipes it carelessly and moves back up your body to shower your chest and neck with more kisses and light nips.
"Aonung," you say gently, squirming slightly underneath him.
He just grunts to show he's listening, flicking your nipple lightly with his large, rough tongue. You fight back your broken moans so you can speak.
"I want to fuck you," you whisper.
That gets his attention fast. You nearly laugh at the way his head snaps up, eyes wide with surprise, and he tilts his head.
"Syulang, we have time, we don't have to-"
"No," you growl, frowning and trying to get him to understand. "You can kiss any girl anytime, see any tits any time, but this is the only time I'm ever going to have you and I want to do everything."
Aonung blinks, looking surprised, before bursting into deep, rumbly laughter that makes you scowl.
"What?" you grumble, annoyed and reaching to cover your tits.
That makes him grumpy, and he easily just pushes your arms away so he can pillow his chin between the cleavage and rest his face to look up your body at you.
His massive body, double the proportions of everything you have, is a comfortable weight over your smaller body, his hands absentmindedly stroking your soft skin.
"I'm not going to see any tits any time," Aonung says simply. "These are my favourites."
"You-" you wrinkle your nose at him to hide your annoyed smile as he licks lightly over your breast, then sucks a little hickey into the underside of the soft cleavage.
"Tawtute, you're all soft and smooth and squishy."
You let out a breathless little laugh, amused by the childish simplicity with which he expresses himself, stroking his large face fondly.
"But I don't want to waste our time when this is the only-"
"It doesn't have to be the only time," Aonung shrugs, blinking at you. "You can come to me whenever you like."
That's a layered statement. Whilst that has you reeling with delight and satisfaction, you can't help wishing that maybe he would come to you, that maybe he'd ever want this more than you do. Want you more than you want him.
"Or I'll come to you," Aonung amends. "But if I come to you whenever I'd like, you'd be getting sick and tired of having me around."
"Why don't you find out," you whisper. "Just how tired you can make me."
And with that, you're in agreement.
Placing you in control, he rolls over onto his back, careful not to crush you, and lifts you lightly to rest on his chest.
You reach out to tug at the band of his loincloth, your fingers quick and desperate and practically scrabbling at the knot, and Aonung watches with amusement and curiousity.
Finally, it's untied and you draw it away. And fuck. He's naked.
The prince of the clan is naked in the bed, straddled under you, staring up at you like he's never seen something so... precious.
So yes, maybe you've imagined this a million times. Thought about him naked, here, in the reef, in the river, in the marui, in every possible place.
For a human, you can be a horny little thing sometimes, and the thing that fuelled that most was your little crush.
But now he's here, and you're eager to see him.
All na'vi are big compared to you, every na'vi cock you've ever seen and felt and took is just large and beautiful and big, but Aonung just seems obsene.
Never once, in all your filthy imaginations, had you truly dared to factor in the sheer size of him. Just by looking at his massive muscular body, one could guess, but they'd still have their fucking minds blown.
He’s big. So fucking big it has your eyes bulging and heart thumping and mouth almost watering. His cock is just as beautiful as him, just as smooth pale blue with the delicate darker stripes and glowing tahnì.
When you reach out and touch it, his hips jerk slightly and his pupils widen as your smaller hand closes gently around it.
Fuck, you need two hands to hold it. It's heavy and hot and obscene in your small, smooth hands, and you look up at him with amazement.
He's just staring back, waiting for you to do what you want with him. Whatever you want.
You shift your hand down, too small to hold all of him but he groans anyway, feeling warm and sticky precome gushing from the tip to coat your fingers.
"Fuck, syulang, so good," he grunts, seemingly mindlessly rocking his hips up into your hand.
You just want to be good for him. To make him feel good, in any way near the way he made you feel, to repay him.
But at the same time, the heavy weight of his cock, let alone the sheer damn size of it, has your head spinning and mouth watering. You want it stretching everything inside you, bullying its way into you, fucking its mark deep into you until you're ruined for anyone else.
You just want everything.
It's greedy of you, you know that, to be lusting after what might quite literally be the most unattainable man in the clan, but you can't help it. From the moment you set eyes on him, that's all you wanted, him as yours.
But since you can't have that, you'll just have to make this time worth it, get him to fuck you enough to last a lifetime without him.
"Come on," you grin. "All this for me?"
Aonung grunts as you tighten your hand slightly around his painfully hard cock, eyes studying the way the tahnì's light flickers and shimmers with each of your movements, the way he pulses in your hand.
"You have me now syulang," he mutters. "You don't need all those big, stupid guys."
"You are literally the stupidest guy ever," you point out. "But also the biggest."
At the last word, you lick a stripe up his length, and his hand jumps into your hair and he chokes out a groan.
"Even your tongue is smooth tawtute," he mutters, almost to himself.
"I'll try my best," you say, pulling back a few inches to study his dick. "I've never done this with a na'vi before-"
"It's alright," he whispers, trying to pull you closer, and you frown.
"I want to do this," you pout. "Please- it just might not be very tidy."
Aonung tries to pull you away, tries to hide the way his cock is pulsing, but you can feel each heartbeat through the heavy weight in your hand.
"Come syulang, we have time later," he pleads. "You wished to fuck."
"I don't want this to be over too soo-"
"I will come every day if that's what you'd like," Aonung huffs. "Just let me make you feel good."
So you oblige, pushing hard at his shoulders, and he lies back onto the pillows as you lift yourself up and straddle him.
"Are you sure?" Aonung asks, furrowing his brows at you. "You are small and-"
This time you're the one to cut him off, rolling your hips fluidly over his much larger ones, feeling your whole body tighten at the new friction of your slick and throbbing clit sliding up along his hardened length.
He doesn't protest again. He just lets his hands fall to rest on your hips, sliding your smaller body on his before bringing you down to grind harder.
You moan and he lets out a small noise in his chest, and it takes you a moment to realise he's purring.
Surprisingly, he doesn't seem abashed by the sounds he makes, instead he just rests his head back against the pillows to watch your movements with eyes darkened with lust.
You can feel that familiar heat growing rapidly, too rapidly, between your legs straddled either side of him, so you quickly lift off his hips. Thankfully, Aonung seems to understand, or maybe the teasing is just too much for him too, because he helps you line him up with your entrance.
At the slightest movement, your legs stretching further to lower yourself onto his cock, you know it's going to be a stretch. More than any fingers, any cock, anything you've ever taken, and you think he knows it too, by the way he's staring so avidly at you.
But you're impatient, hardly caring how much you get hurt, just wanting him inside you, stretching you, marking you, ruining you, and you drop further down so the head of his cock starts to press into you.
And then you're dropping further, hair cascading messily all over you, lips bit tight to hide your pain before the massive hardness of him slides past the ring of resistance and starts to smoothly sink into you.
You cry out and Aonung hisses.
"You're- fuck, you're so tight syulang," he groans. "The others did not lie."
You can't answer, sinking further down, head lolling back at the overwhelming stretch of it all, hands resting firmly on his chest to anchor yourself.
Aonung's breathing heavily, his eyes blown wide to black moons ringed in a thin line of pale blue, and you can see he's trying to control yourself as you grit your teeth and sink further onto him.
You're whining and whimpering and he half-looks like he wants to stop out of concern for you, but you shake your head at him. Instead, he sits up, cradling your small figure against his massive chest and takes control, sliding in.
And in. And in.
Just when you think there's no more left for him to go, he keeps going. He lets you sink your teeth into his shoulder to muffle your sharp cries, gently smoothing your hair and whispering comforts and praise to you while his other hand reaches down to rub circles on your throbbing clit.
The stretch in you feels so tight that you doubt you can move, and Aonung hisses again as you clench around him.
"Just a little more, paskalin," he whispers, biting back a groan as he rocks another inch into you, your silent tears streaking his chest, your whimpers and whines practically injected into him through your mouth on his shoulder.
"You're so big," you choke out, gritting your teeth as he pushes in another inch, which seems literally fucking impossible.
And fuck, he's still got a few inches left and there's just simply no more space. You frown with frustration, but then he's dropping your remaining weight onto him and buries himself deep inside you.
You cry out, face twisted in the delicious mix of blunt pain and sharp pleasure, and Aonung just remains there, holding you close and sheathed within you, letting you adjust and clench and breathe heavily.
"Holy shit," you groan. "You're right here."
The bulge of his dick is evident in your body, and you lay a breathless hand over it. A sick part of you wishes it'll remain there forever, his mark fucked into you long after you can't fuck him anymore.
He too takes a breath, lazily and careless from his mask, before laying it back down and finally starting to move.
The stretch is a delicious burn as Aonung rocks his hips deeper, until he's as far in as he's going to get, before he pulls out an inch and makes his first, experimental thrust. To his delight, it has your eyes rolling back and you arching your tits right into him.
His lips find his way on your neck, your nails digging into his broad back as he rolls his hips and thrusts deep into you. You can't hold it back anymore, moaning shamelessly like a whore into his ear all the while scratching your mark into his back.
He, in turn, is moaning and cursing against your neck, his mouth all messy, nipping and kissing along your neck and collar and chest.
It's all just a test, really. Sensing out each others bodies, learning what you like; there's nothing about this you dislike.
You love the squeeze of his hands on your curves, knowing he loves your curves just as much- judging the way he's pinching your ass, kneading your tits and tracing the little squidge of your belly.
"So good syulang," he whispers when you clench around him again. "You're doing so well."
He's whispering nearly unintelligible things against your neck, words of worship, mutters of how tight you are, little praise of how well you're doing.
You just cling onto him, moaning shamelessly into his ear, arching further and further with every deep, forceful thrust, feeling as though he's fucking your soul straight out of your body.
If he hadn't been holding you up, you think you may have just turned to jelly and flopped backwards, yet his hands are warm and present on your back.
You shift slightly, up and down, trying your best to meet each of his thrusts, and there it is. The start of the knot, the one you begin to pull, to unravel.
And then he knows it, because all of a sudden he's speeding up and thrusting deeper and rubbing circles on your clit, and you're a moaning mess, hands raking through his hair and over his back, gently caressing his face and digging sharply into his waist.
All it finally takes is the nip at your neck, the soft whispered shower of desperately spoken words you can't even hear, and then you've tipped over the edge.
Aonung just fucks you through it all, cradling you body and still muttering those words you can't make out. You're making a fucking mess, your sharp cries and moans and whines tearing through the home so loudly you'd thank Eywa forever that Spider's far away in the village.
And then when you still, the change that goes through Aonung is surprising. He had been rough by human standards, but it never seemed to strike you just how gentle he had been until he just loses all vestages of control.
He's moving at animalistic paces, and you're unravelling into a moaning, trembling mess under him, teeth sunk into his shoulder to try and quiet your sounds, because you sure as fuck can't hold them in.
You yelp as he speeds up now, brutal and animalistic as the last tenterhooks of his strained restraint snaps and he buries himself deep inside you. He's hissing a million unintelligible words against your skin as he spills himself inside you, rocking his hips the whole time until he finally comes to a shaky stop.
It's all just quiet. And still.
No words are spoken, just your faint moans every now and then in the aftershock of your earth-shattering orgasm.
After a moment, when you finally start to return to yourself somewhat, you realise he's layed back against the bed, you curled lightly on his chest. His arm is tented protectively over you, your own wrapped tight around his own chest, your hair spilling over your shoulders onto both your spent, slightly sweaty bodies.
Then he finally moves, a small shift to pull you even closer, gently slide you up his body you you're in his view, when he can nuzzle lightly into your neck.
You whimper at the sudden cold emptiness inside you as he lifts you off him and closer to his face, but he lightly kisses all over your flushed face, once, twice, again and again, soft, gentle brushes of his lips over your shining skin.
"Are you alright, syulang?"
You can't answer. Aonung, the prince of the clan, the guy you've been crushing on since you came to the reef, the one that was the most unattainable man in the reef, had just fucked every morsel of animation out of your body, and is now cuddling you close.
"Why are you doing this," you manage to say weakly.
"You do not like having me here?" Aonung asks, brows furrowing in confusion, looking slightly hurt.
"No," you say quickly. "But you don't have to stay here with me- you're free to go if you wish. Don't feel like you have to take care of me."
Aonung's frown deepens, but he just nuzzles closer, his face pillowed with your soft, raw breasts.
"I will stay," he says decisively.
"But you don't," you say quietly. "I've- I've heard things, that you are just... well... slutty. We both wanted sex Aonung, you don't have to feel obligated to help me, especially when you never did with others before me."
"I will stay," he says again. "I want to stay with you, syulang."
It's strange. You don't feel uneasy, but you're not used to cuddling after intimacy, not with men only being with you for the experience of fucking a tawtute, not when you're wearing your expopack.
But now, for the first time, you're just spent the fuck out, collapsed on top of the future Olo'eyktan, being praised and kissed and cared for by the elusive, unattainable Aonung.
And then there's the problem. The fact that Aonung has lit a flame no others will be able to fuel, the fact that he's made you come harder than any other ever will, the fact he's stretched you to the point no other will ever be able to fill.
"I think you've fucking ruined me," you mumble sleepily into his neck.
"Have I?" he asks, sounding slightly pleased with himself.
"For anyone and everyone."
So there's just the question left, the one that's been ringing in your brain since he kissed you, since he touched you, since you came so hard your vision went fuzzy.
And you know there's never going to be another chance to ask it. So here fucking goes. But then he answers it before it even leaves your raw lips.
"You will not need others syulang," he growls. "I will take care of you."
And you think you could melt away. All you wanted.
It seems impossible that this is happening- maybe he fucked you so well you simply passed away, and your heaven was just him caring for you. Maybe you're still fucking dreaming, and you haven't woken up, and Lo'ak and Spider will be playing video games outside on that shitty old sofa.
But then you reach out to tentatively touch his face, and you know it's real.
He's still breathing raggedly, and you pass him the mask.
"Breathe, Aonung."
"I-"
"I don't want you passing out before you can finish what you were trying to say," you reprimand him.
Aonung laughs slightly and obliges, before setting his mask back down.
"I liked you too, tawtute," he whispers.
"Fucking hypocrite," you hiss, your supposed annoyance at complete odds with your uncontrollable, delighted grin.
"I liked your sweetness," he grins, kissing your nose. "And kindness and determination. You asked why I did not speak to you- I was ashamed."
You blink in surprise, and pull back a few inches.
"Not of liking you," Aonung continues. "Ashamed that for the first time in my life, I was nervous. You made me nervous, with all your perseverance and tawtute clothing and cuteness."
You shut him up, crashing your lips onto his and snake your hands around his neck.You kissed him.
You can feel his heartbeat picking up against your chest as he shifts, one of his hands on your waist and holding you up so your faces are closer, the other tangling in your long hair.
He smells good, like amber and sea-salt, and his lips are so soft and warm that you nearly forget about everything else and get lost in the kiss.
And it means everything that you don't need to speak. Who needs tsaheylu to read each other when you can kiss him like this?
"I will make you those tops I promised," Aonung says, pulling away. "And I can order a new hut. If you prefer your tawtute clothing, teach me to make you more."
Fuck.
This is better than anything you could have dreamed of, imagined in those long afternoons in the healing hut staring lustfully at Aonung from afar.
And now he's here, cuddling you, offering to make you gifts and asking what you like.
"My little tunutu," he whispers.
The words send a shiver through you.
The same way you'd felt this whole time, wanting all of him with everything you have, desperately willing to give whatever you have to offer.
And now he feels the same.
Tunutu.
My little desire.
forest boy.
synopsis: you are tsakarem (tsahik-in-training) of the metkayina clan, promised to ao'nung. however it seems that things take a turn when you catch the attention of a certain forest boy.
tags: fluffy drabble, fem! metkayina! reader, a test post to see if this fandom still lives lol, jealous! ao'nung, pining! neteyam, love at first sight! neteyam, subtle tsireya x lo'ak, reader and ao'nung are parallels of ronal and tonowari
part 2 here
The bellow of a horn echoed throughout the village, accompanied by the fluttering of an Ikran's wings. Both you and Tsireya halted your light conversation, laughter dying down as your attention was drawn to the exotic mountain banshees flying above. Sharing a curious glance, both of you moved towards your Ilu's, making haste towards the sandy shores.
From afar, you could see how a family of forest Na'vi dropped down to the sands. They seemed apprehensive, led by a tall man dressed in exotic gear.
"Isn't that the Olo'eyktan from the Omatikaya clan?" Tsireya whispered, her voice barely audible. "What could possibly bring them here?"
"I have no idea," you replied, dismounting from your ilu as you approached the shore, Tsireya mirroring your actions.
As you dipped your head in the water, you pushed yourself upward, breaking through the surface. With a graceful motion, you brushed aside your damp hair, allowing it to cascade down your shoulders in a shimmering display.
Just then, your eyes locked with one of the strange forest people. Almost immediately, he bowed low, gesturing to you by placing his fingers on his forehead and extending one hand down. Smiling, you gestured back, returning the greeting with a nod of your head. The forest boy seemed pleased by your response, and his eyes sparkled with interest.
As Neteyam's gaze fell upon you, he couldn't help but become entranced by the mesmerizing shade of aquatic blue that adorned your skin, gracefully accompanied by flowing white stripes resembling gentle waves. The captivating allure of your large, penetrating blue eyes seemed to delve into the depths of his soul and he found himself speechless, mouth running dry.
Taking in your petite stature, the fin-like formations on your arms and legs piqued his curiosity, evoking images of elegant aquatic creatures. Your attire, intricately woven and embellished with coral, shells, and delicate trinkets, complemented your features perfectly, adding to your captivating appearance.
"You're staring, skxawng," Lo'ak snorts, playfully knocking his brother's side. Neteyam huffs, feeling a tinge of embarrassment as he quickly averts his gaze. "Shut it," he retorts, trying to brush off the moment.
As their father engaged in conversation with the newcomers, a group of boys broke away from the crowd, heading towards the brothers. Lo'ak and Neteyam exchanged quick gestures of greeting, but received no response in return.
Neteyam's gaze sharpened as he observed the group encircling them, a hint of caution in his eyes. One of them then laughed heartily, pointing at their tail, "What is that? Is that supposed to be a tail? How are they supposed to swim?"
"Do not!" Tsireya hisses, swiftly moving to smack Roxto's hand away. Sensing the tension, you saunter towards them, joining Tsireya in scolding the boys. "Be nice," you chide firmly.
Neteyam's attention shifts, his gaze locked on you as you approach Ao'nung and place a firm hand on his bicep.
In that moment, Neteyam witnesses a silent conversation unfold between the two of you, communicating with nothing but your eyes.
'You are being mean again,' you assert, raising your eyebrows and fixing your intense gaze upon the Metkayinan boy. Ao'nung blinks slowly, a dull look on his face. With a click of his tongue, he shuts his eyes and huffs in resignation. 'I know,' he concedes.
As all four of you shift your attention back towards the newcomers, Tsireya beams with enthusiasm, her warm greeting echoing once more, "We welcome you."
Lo'ak acknowledges her with a nod and a mumbled greeting, and you can't help but notice Tsireya's endearing reaction. Her cheeks flush, and her smile turns almost bashfully giddy as she glances down at her feet, clearly charmed by the interaction.
Months had passed since the Sully's integration into your village. You couldn't help but admire their quick learning, seamlessly adapting to the ways of the water in less than a month. As you spent more time training with them, your bond with the siblings grew stronger, particularly with endearing little Tuk, who always seemed eager to drag you along the shore to play.
'This is going to be interesting.'
Amidst the camaraderie, not everyone got along. Fights frequently arose between Ao'nung and the two Sully brothers, resulting in heated scuffles, both physical and verbal. And while Ao'nung and Lo'ak seemed to have made some progress in improving their relationship, the situation with Neteyam remained…unresolved at best.
"Ao'!" You gasp out, flinching back when he tackles Neteyam to the ground. The two boys exchange hits with fervor, their fists flying in rapid succession as they grapple with each other.
"Oh, you skxawngs!" you huff, unable to contain your frustration any longer. You grab hold of Neteyam's tail, pulling him off Ao'nung and breaking up the fight. "What is wrong with you two?!"
"I told him to back off!" Neteyam snarls, his hand pressed against a blossoming bruise on his torso. Ao'nung clicks his tongue, rolling his shoulders as he stands up, his expression defiant. "Maybe you should back off my mate."
The tension in the air remains palpable as emotions run high, leaving you caught in the middle of the escalating conflict. You don't miss how Neteyam's shoulders drop, his mouth agape as his eyes dart between the two of you.
Confusion fills his gaze as he stammers, "Mate?"
"I am Tsakarem," you affirm, taking a step towards Ao'nung's side to assess his injuries. "But it's bold of you to claim that I'm your mate," you add, clicking your tongue disapprovingly. Neteyam, catching your mocking tone, seems to perk up and grin
"Don't get too excited, forest boy," Ao'nung grumbles, his gaze drilling holes into Neteyam's head, "She is still promised to me."
Sighing you tuck your head into his shoulder, begging him to shut up.
May Eywa help you.
+ When the Sully family sought uturu in the Metkayina clan, they didn't expect to find humans there, that far out in Pandora. They especially didn't expect to find out that the Olo'eyktan is in a relationship with the woman and has adopted her child as her own. Not to mention, his children listening to her as if she was their birth mother.
"Aonung?" I called from my spot by the cook pit. He popped his head into the marui's entrance.
"Yes ma?" He asked.
"Can you grab me the leather ties? Your father accidentally put them out of my reach again." I asked, pointing to a basket on a high shelf. He nodded and walked over to the basket grabbing a few ties for me.
"Here you go, ma." He hands them to me.
"Thank you." I took them and tied up the stuffed roasting leaves. He knelt down next to me and adjusted the grate over the cook pit for me. As I was about to set the food on the fire, we heard the horns from the reef.
"What the..." Aonung muttered before sharing a confused look with me. We both got up and walked over to the entrance. We saw 5 ikrans approaching.
"Ma?" Aonung looked down at me. As the ikrans landed I saw Ronal heading that way.
"Go on. If you see Kira, send her home please."
"Yes ma." He leaned down and kissed my head before running off. I walked back in and a few minutes later my daughter Kira came running in.
"What's going on, Mom?"
"I don't know. We'll wait for Wari to come and tell us." I run my hand over her head. "It's safer for us to stay here since we don't know the Navi that have come."
"Okay." She went and sat on a mat before pulling at the top she had been working on. It wasn't long until Tsireya walked in.
"Ma? Kira?" She smiled at us.
"What darling?" I looked up at her.
"Dad wants you to come meet some people." I was surprised but nodded.
"Come on Kira." I said as I walked towards the exit. She ran over and I pulled her into my side. We followed Tsireya to see a family of six standing next to Wari. As we walked up, I saw the family look at us completely shocked.
"Daddy!" Kira ran over to Wari and hugged his leg. He chuckled before picking her up.
"Hello, my Katir (rainbow)." He greeted Kira. He held her on his side before reaching for me. "Yawne."
"Hi." I took his large hand and he brought it up to his lips.
"Um, I'm confused." I heard one of the newcomers say. I looked at them. I looked at the oldest Male and realized he looked familiar. I glanced down and saw he had 5 fingers and toes.
"Jake Sully." He met my gaze as I said his name.
"Yes. I am. How did you..." He trailed off.
"I worked at Hells gate." I said in English at first before switching back to Navi. "I was a scientist for botany. Another scientist and I were out on assignment when the battle of the Hallelujah Mountains happened. I was against the RDA's plans and tactics so I was deemed okay to stay."
"Oh. But how did you end up out here?"
"12 years ago, my companion and I were chased from our outpost lab by some viperwolves and he was killed. I made it to the coast but got washed out to sea by a severe storm. I was pregnant at the time and I was washed up here." I explained.
"How did you not get... Well, um killed?"
"We were shocked when she washed up. But when we realized she was pregnant, we couldn't hurt her. Even Ronal was hesitant. Ultimately, We realized she wasn't a threat and was allowed to stay. Along with her child." Wari explained before smiling at Kira.
"But you two are together?" The woman asked. Jake looked a little mortified.
"Neytiri. Human and Navi relationships weren't unheard of back home." Jake said quietly.
"Yes but the Olo'eyktan? That isn't ..." She started to ask.
"Neytiri! Not our place." He said urgently. I chuckled. "Plus you really have no room to talk." Her eyes widened.
"Fine." She huffed before turning to us. With a genuine look in her eye, she apologized. "I am sorry."
"It's alright. We know it's out of the norm." Wari smiled. "Now, Tsireya will show you to your marui."
"Thank you. It was nice to meet you." Jake smiled and Tsireya led them away. Wari let Kira down who followed her sister. Wari and I headed back to our marui.
"So, why are they here?"
"They seek uturu."
"Uturu? Why?" I looked up at him confused.
"From the sky people." I nodded. I had a nagging feeling in my chest but shook it off. "You're worried about something."
"You know me to well." I chuckled. He reached down and picked me up. "The thought of humans back on Pandora is just a chilling thought. I can understand why Jake has done this."
"Do not worry, Ma'Y/N. We are safe here." He nuzzled my cheek. I cupped his cheek.
"I know. I just can't help but worry." I said as he carried me into our home.
"Everything will be Okay." He assured me. He sat down and set me on his lap. He began playing with my hair. I sighed, relaxing.
"Okay, my love. I trust you." Not long after that Kira, Teysira, and Aonung came in.
*Time skip*
A couple of weeks later, I was out collecting some shells for jewelry and clothes. I was out wading in the water a ways away from the village when I heard the sound of a fight. I quickly walked that way to see the Sully kids and Aonung with his friends fighting.
"Okay enough!" I yelled walking up to them. "Aonung! Roxto!"
"Shit!" I heard Lo'ak muttered.
"Break it up." I snapped. Aonung and Roxto quickly broke off and backed up. Neteyam pulled Lo'ak away. "Seriously?! Acting like petty children. I can't believe any of you!"
"Ma, I'm ..."
"Don't even Aonung!" I turned to look up at him. "I know you started this so don't even start. I am very disappointed in you." His ears fell back and he curled into himself with his tail dropping.
"Yes ma'am." I turned to the Sully boys and Kiri. They looked surprised at me.
"I'm disappointed in you two as well." I said to Neteyam and Lo'ak. They looked guilty. "Everyone, back to the village. We're going to talk to Wari and Jake now. Kiri you don't have too, sweetheart."
"Yawne?" Wari looked up as we entered. "What's wrong?"
"I'll explain as soon as Jake gets here. Wari looked between the boys and his gaze hardened at the looks of them.
"I may have an idea after all." He said. Once Jake arrived, I explained everything to Jake and Wari and we parted ways to speak to our kids privately. Once at our marui, I pointed at the mat for Aonung to sit.
"Do you have any respect for Kira and I?" I asked. Aonung's ears laid back.
"Of course I do."
"Then why do you treat Kiri like that? Lo'ak? Why do you treat them like demons when you call me Ma? Me, a human?!" I snapped. He flinched. I could feel Wari standing behind me. "You are being disrespectful to me and your sister as well as the Sully children. No more."
"Yes ma'am." He nodded. I turned away, rubbing my head.
"Go, think about what you've done. Think about our family. " Wari dismissed Aonung.
"Yes sir. Yes Ma'am." He stood. "I'm truly sorry, Ma." I nod and he leaves.
"Wari..." I turned to my mate with watery eyes. He gave me a sad smile. "Did I do something too..."
"No, no. You haven't clone anything. I'm sorry, Yawne. I don't know what's gotten into him." Wari knelt in front of me. He took my hand and nuzzled my neck. I could feel the tears nearly spilling from my eyes. I cuddled into his chest. He ran a hand up and down my back. "Shh, yawne."
"I am just confused. Sure he doesn't like humans much and I understand. But Jake proved himself to the Na'vi. His kids are born Na'vi and don't deserve to be treated like demons."
"I hate to say it but I figure he's following his mothers displeasure in the situation." Wari said and I agreed. furiously wiped my face.
"You're right. But Aonung is doing a lot more than grumbling about this." I mumbled as I nodded. He gave a small chuckle before cupping my cheek.
"Well, I believe you straighten him out, Ma'Y/N." He comforted me with encouragement.
"Thank you, Ma'Wari. I hope so." I smiled before sighing. "I don't know what we're going to do with that boy."
A little while later after Wari calmed me down, Jake came to us nearly in a panic with Neteyam and Aonung in tow.
"What?!" I exclaimed as Jake told us that Lo'ak was missing. My mind immediately went to Anoung doing something. I turned to the boy with a glare before Neteyam stepped up.
"I can assure you Aonung didn't have anything to do with it. Just after he spoke privately with you, he came and found me to apologize. And I went with him to apologize to Kiri. So Aonung was with me and Kiri when Loak disappeared."
"Alright. Good. Thank you Neteyam." I said and gave Aonung a soft smile. He gave one back. Tonowari set his hand on my back.
"I'll help look for him." He says turning to Jake. "I have a feeling that this has something to do with my friends. Plus I need to try and make up for the way I've treated him. It wasn't right or fair. I am very sorry."
"Thank you for apologizing," Jake nodded.
"Come. We'll start the search." Tonowari said to Jake. He directed some others before turning to me. "I'll be back. can you keep an eye out in case he makes it back?"
"Of course. Go." He nodded and gave me a kiss on the head. Everyone quickly dispersed but Aonung walked up to me.
"I'm sorry ma. I promise I'll do better by our family." He said genuinely as he knelt down in front of me.
"I know." I hugged him. I gave him a pat on the head. "Now go. Help find Lo'ak. Anything can happen to him out there. You, I, and your father will talk about it more later."
"Yes ma." He smiled. He followed everyone else. I sighed and shook my head.
"Eywa, what am I going to do with that boy?" I asked out loud. I heard a familiar set of giggles next to me. I turned to see Tsireya and Kira. "Come on you two. We better go check on Tuk, Kiri, and Neytiri."
"Okay Ma." They nodded and we left.
You and Tonowari had been close throughout your lives, spending your childhood days running across the warm sand of your home Awa’atlu. You had passed your rites together, became adults in the eyes of your clan together, danced around the fire after drinking too much kava made from the fermented, sweet fruit that could only be harvested from the swampy inland of your home. So when the time eventually came for Tonowari’s father to step down as the Olo'eyktan, you were the one to crush the rare shells that you’d painstakingly collected together and fashion them into a beautiful, glisting paint that sparkled when the light of the fire hit it and the one to paint the delicate swirls and waves of ceremonial importance onto him all the while berating his skxawng ass for not sitting still.
Tonowari trusted you with his life and everything in it. So, when the winged creatures of the mountains far to the west arrived with a family of na’vi hailing from the Omatikaya, your eyes were the first he met and it was your nod of approval that solidified the Suli family’s place at Awa’atlu.
It had been a quarter of a cycle since that day and the clan had become well adjusted to the family of forest people, leaving Tonowari to gradually withdraw from training Tsyeyk Suli and give more attention to his duties as Olo’eyktan once again. A discussion between the three of you ended with Tonowari granting you the responsibility of training the once great Toruk Makto in his efforts to learn the ways of the txampay taronyu (Ocean Hunter) and more importantly how to master the riding of the viscous Tsurak, a milestone all Metkayina must meet while passing their rites.
Teaching Tsyeyk became a daily task of yours, one that you excelled in if his progress was anything to go by. In fact, if you pushed him enough, Tsyeyk might go as far as to say he’d made more progress with you than with Tonowari himself and you took an incredible amount of pride in that.
Your clan observed a special community kinship, sharing duties equally based on talents and specialities. Whakairo (Carving), Raranga (Weaving), Tā moko (Permanent Marking/Tattooing) and Txampay Tìtaron (Ocean Hunting) being the most respected. Every adult in the clan contributed what they could and shared responsibilities amongst themselves.
In the many cycles Tonowari had known you, you were not a person to skimp on your responsibilities. A skxawng? Maybe. But Eywa herself couldn’t drag you to the lows of disappointing your clan. You knew for a fact that being so close with Tonowari meant that your actions and reputation reflected on him, so when the warm tones of the evening sun began colouring the sea and Tonowari was assisting the late returning tarpongu (hunting party) with distributing their catch he was surprised to hear his son calling his name.
“No one has seen her today”. Despite the irritation bubbling inside him by the fact that you had left Tsyeyk with no help for the day, concern for you itched under his skin and forced him in the direction of your Marui to check for you himself.
His concern for you only increased when he noticed your privacy coverings were still pulled shut and when he entered your home only to see it a complete mess it was all he could do in his power not to yell for you like a wild man. Your belongings were rifled through, strewn across the floor. Your portion of the community meal laid untouched near your sleeping mat, it had been long enough that the uneaten food was congealed and filled his nose with an unpleasant smell.
Taking a deep breath to try and scent you through the overwhelming smell of rotting food he was able to catch a faint trail of your distinct scent leading from your home, a strange, staggering sweetness clung to the inside of his nose as it mixed with your usual smell. It clouded his senses, made an unfamiliar prickling sensation appear along the back of his neck and spread down his spine all the way to the base of his tail that swayed with unease.
As Tonowari followed the trail of your scent through the humid, dense mangrove forest of your village he thought back to the last evening meal, were you even there? Did he actually see you engaging with the clan at any point? If you were there, how could he not have noticed that something was clearly wrong? Wrong enough for you to disappear for almost a full day.
Bile churned in his gut at the thought of something awful happening to you because of his nonobservance, blaming himself immediately for whatever state he would find you in.
Sweat beaded on his forehead and the back of his neck despite the cooling air of the evening, the loose curls that cascaded his back in a delicate waterfall were beginning to stick to his slick skin.
Taking another deep breath of your scent, Tonowari was able to follow the trail to the edge of the water where it suddenly dispersed, indicating to him that you’d gone into the water. It wasn’t until the first spits of rainfall began to hit his skin, the cool shock breaking through the cloudiness that seemed to have settled over his mind the moment he smelled that strange sweetness to your scent, that he realised just where he was and where you would most likely be.
In your teen years, before he was Olo’eyktan, before either of you had even begun to think about your Iknimaya, you’d gone exploring. Past the swampy inland together, through the mangrove forest and to the edge of the water at the other side of the island. You’d quickly spotted a rocky outcrop in the distance and before he could convince you it was time to turn back you’d already dived into the water. He remembers rolling his eyes, calling you childish, hiding his real feelings about how pretty you were with water clinging to your lashes and slicking your hair back before jumping into the water with you. You spent the night together camping in the hidden beach of the outcrop, laying by the fire and talking about your futures. It was the night you promised to paint him for his ceremonial induction as Olo’eyktan when the day came, picking an iridescent shell out of the sand and vowing to make the paint yourself with the shells from your special outcrop.
Hanging his heavier, more ornate items of clothing over a branch after he removed them, Tonowari feels a literal and metaphorical weight lift from his shoulders. How long had it been since he’d been here last with you? Surely before he became Olo’eyktan, before his life became an endless cycle of being the most important person in the clan, weighed down by his duties, responsibilities and the representative clothing that he still didn’t feel he carried like his father once did.
Left in his tewng with his knife still sheathed at his hip and his songcord blending into the heavy leather fringe, Tonowari runs his thumb over the small shell you gifted him so many cycles prior before diving into the water and making the swim to your outcrop.
Tonowari took care to enter your space slowly, if you were injured or ill then you’d most likely react to his presence negatively. Entering the cave of your outcrop, he feels the water of the sea begin to dry against his skin as the lit fire inside warms him.
Taking a deep breath of your scent, Tonowari finds it almost unbearably strong in this area, the strange sweetness clinging to you is stronger here too. It’s thick in the air and it makes an unfamiliar ache radiate through his kuru, trickle down his spine and spread throughout his body.
His jaw ticks in thought, he’s never reacted like this to your scent. Never reacted like this to A scent at all.
A deep, rumbling hiss rips through the air. Vibrating through your vocal cords in a warning grumble that makes Tonowari’s hand instinctively reach for his blade, his fingers barely brushing the hilt before he’s knocked off his feet. His head throbs with the collision on the sand but the sensation can barely push to the front of his mind through the pulsing of his heartbeat in his ears and the feeling of your burning hot skin scorching his own.
Your pretty eyes don’t hold their usual warmth as you glare down at Tonowari and the cool, sharpened tip of your knife threatens his Adams apple, for a moment he’s convinced that you aren’t even aware of who he is from the way you’re snarling at him until you speak.
“You should not be here! Skxawng!”
The harsh tone of your voice echoes through the mist that your scent placed over his mind and his earlier irritation boils up again tenfold.
“You would hold a knife to your Olo’eyktan?”
“To my Olo’eyktan? Of course not. To the Skxawng that followed me out here though?”
Tonowari snarls at you, a noise you’ve never heard in the cycles you’d spent together. It’s so out of character that even Tonowari himself looks shocked at the authoritative noise before his expression hardens once more and he pushes you off of him, sending you back on your ass in the sand with your knife dropping with a thud beside you.
Your ears drop back uncontrollably, a whimper slipping out before you can stop it at the way Tonowari stands over you. You’d seen him shout, yell and berate people before that deserved it and it had never caused a reaction like it was causing from you right now. If you were in your right mind, not overtaken by the swirling intensity of your heat, then you would have had more fight in you.
Tonowari immediately notices your subdued nature and takes a chance to properly look at you. Your hair is unkempt, loose from it’s usual neat updo, your skin is flushed with such a deep colour that he worries for a second you may be suffering from sun sickness before he notices the rapid rise and fall of your chest.
Your breath is quick as Tonowari looks at you, every second around him is harder for you to get through and the heat in your gut is burning hotter than the fire lit beside you.
“Y-You need to leave Tonowari. You cannot be here.”
Tonowari’s eyes drop to your clenching thighs and it finally clicks for him what is happening to you, maybe he really is a skxawng. His irritation, the heat burning him from the inside out since he caught your scent, the odd sweetness clinging to your scent even from such a distance creating a fog in his mind. It was all because of your heat.
“Your heat? How is your heat here? It is not mating season and you..”
An irritated hiss rips out of you uncontrollably and you glare at Tonowari with whatever fierceness you can muster when all your heat riddled brain can tell you to do is submit to this dominant presence.
“What? I am unmated? You think I do not know that? Why else would I have come out here by myself?”
Getting to your feet quickly you busy yourself with brushing the sand from your body that clings to your sweat slick skin.
“You could have come to me for help. Or the Tsahik”
“Do not be ridiculous. What good would that have done?”
A growl of frustration leaves Tonowari’s lips and it takes all your remaining strength to stay on your feet and not immediately fall to his but the tell tale signs of your submission show themselves anyway. Your ears drop once more, your head bowing forward and your eyes refusing to meet his. Your fists clench with defiance but you can’t hide how Tonowari is only making the effect of your heat worse.
Your slick is flowing uncontrollably and it has been since you picked up Tonowari’s scent coming towards you. The truth was that your avoidance of group meals and your duties was purely due to Tonowari and his lingering scent being present in every part of your village. Even your own Mauri.
“You need to be filled”
Your eyes roll back in your head at the thought, almost going braindead over the image that plagues your mind of Tonowari sitting you on his fat cock and plugging you full of his cum.
“Do not be so crass, I will survive without it. I would be doing just fine if you hadn’t shown up”
The waver in your voice makes Tonowari take a step towards you, he sees your ears twitching and listening for his movements but you make no move to stop him so he takes another and another until he is directly behind you.
For a second there is silence and he basks in it, it reminds him of your simple shared childhood, when you could be with each other from sunrise to sunset without anyone bothering either of you. He thinks to himself that if he’d never been born into this family of his, if he’d grown to be a simple fisherman or weaver instead of the Olo’eyktan then maybe.. maybe the courage to approach you like this would have came without a push from nature and maybe, just maybe, you would have been his long before he’d had children with another.
Tonowari clears his throat and it startles you for a moment before you feel his large, rough hands settle themselves on your waist. The sensation of his skin against yours so purposefully forces a gasp from your lips that you can barely convince yourself was meaningless.
“Perhaps.. I really am a skxawng like you say-”
“You know I don’t mean anything-”
“Mean anything by it or not, it’s all you call me by anymore.”
Shame burns in your throat and your eyes sting with the prick of tears as Tonowari continues voicing his thoughts to you.
“Maybe I am a skxawng.. but I have never, ever questioned the will or the way of Eywa.. and I know in my heart you have not either.. so to end up here, your scent enticing me and finding you in heat despite being unmated I..”
A fond smile spreads across your face as you listen to Tonowari speak, cycles and cycles of being Olo’eyktan had taught him how to speak to crowds and how to speak to the clan but yet in this moment he was reduced to the mild mannered boy you used to know.
“Perhaps it is Eywa’s will..”
Tonowari sucks in a breath at your words, waiting for you to accept or deny his thinly veiled confession.
“And who are we to question Eywa?”
You gasp as Tonowari spins you to face him, a giddy smile spreading across your face to match the one on his own. Tonowari smashes his lips to yours in a kiss so passionate it makes up for all the years of dancing around each other, the way his tongue licks into your mouth makes an embarrassingly loud whine escape you and you worry for a moment that he may feel the rapid beat of your heart against his chest that’s pressed against your own.
Your body is burning hot against Tonowari’s and he’s almost certain the shape of you will be scorched onto his skin like a brand when you finally pull away from him. He can feel your breath getting shorter and more laboured the longer he kisses you but the real sign that your heat is well and truly taking over you is the almost buckle of your knees when he purposefully presses his knee between your thighs and against your soaked cunt.
Taking the brunt of your weight, Tonowari hooks your legs around his waist and lays you back in the sand. The stretch in your hips forced around the thickness of his waist will surely burn once you’re in your right mind once again but for now the only thing you can focus on is the pressure of your closest friend's rock hard cock pressed against your pussy.
You’re so distracted by finally feeling Tonowari’s fat cock pressed against you that you don’t recognise him reaching for your discarded knife until the cold blade is touching your skin, immediately becoming foggy from the pure heat coming off of you. In a swift series of movements your clouded brain can’t keep up with, Tonowari slices through the material of your tewng and the delicate beading of your chest covering. The cool air finally hitting your body only gives momentary relief from the heat eating you from the inside out.
Tonowari feels the pressure of your thighs squeezing around him and he drops his hips into your own, the roughness of his tewng against your bare cunt bringing a startled squeal of pleasure from you and your clit pulses overwhelmingly at the minimal contact.
Large, rough hands grip the backs of your thighs and force them higher, almost bending you in half as Tonowari settles between your plush thighs. Your slick coats every inch of your pitifully swollen and neglected pussy, your swollen, pulsing clit begging for attention from between your lips.
Your voice comes out in a whiney rasp and you barely sound like yourself in the way you beg.
“Please! Please! Please!”
Tonowari takes a moment to admire you fully, every part of you begging for him and him only, before he gives a firm lick through your folds. His wide, rough tongue licking from your slick dripping entrance to your twitching clit forcing a breathy sob to rip from your throat and your back to arch almost painfully as you grip onto his hair.
Purring against your soaked cunt, Tonowari licks up every drop of your slick he can to savour the taste of you on his tongue. The obscene sounds of his tongue lashing against your wetness combined with your high whines fills the air.
You feel Tonowari suck your sensitive clit into his mouth and your hips automatically rock towards his face. His right hand reaches for your plump tits, tugging on your pebbled nipple in rhythm with his suction on your clit as the fingers on his left hand trace your entrance, teasing your clenching hole by pressing the tips in ever so slightly.
Tonowari growls into your heat as he feels your rough tug on his hair but he relents and lets you feel like you have some power from gripping and pulling him until his lips meet your own once again.
Moaning at the taste of your slick on his tongue, a possessive part of your brain is elated at the thought of him tasting like you, smelling like you, being a part of you. Parting from the kiss you can barely catch your breath, little whimpers huffing against his lips as he stares amusedly down at you.
“It hurts, ‘Wari”
A large hand brushes the sweat tangled strands of your hair out of your face, cooing at the tears wetting your lashline while his other hand works on positioning his cock at your entrance.
Tonowari rubs the head of his cock between your lips and over your clit, picking up a combination of your slick and his pre-cum that makes pressing into you an easy feat.
Crying out at the stretch, the conscious part of your brain in the deepest part of your mind is relieved that you didn’t get a good look at Tonowari’s fat cock before he started pressing into you. He was easily the largest man you had ever been with and you felt like he was ripping you in half the further he pushed inside but your heat and your dripping cunt just wanted more.
Tonowari feels your heels digging into the meat of his ass, encouraging him deeper despite the gentle wince on your face.
“You can take it, ma’yawne”
Your mouth parts in awe, a choked whimper rumbling from your chest as he finally reaches the hilt. You can feel his heavy balls pressing against you as the tip of his thick cock kisses your cervix.
Tonowari’s eyes lock onto your own as he begins thrusting, each drag of his cock against your gummy walls threatening to send your eyes rolling so far back in your head they would never return to their normal position. You swear you can feel him hitting your stomach, knocking the breath out of you as each thrust gains momentum and knocks against your g-spot with unimaginable precision.
Reaching for your clit, he rolls it between his fingers as he kisses at your neck and shoulder, selfishly biting at the flesh to mark you as his as if the scent of his cum stuffed inside you wouldn’t ward off any idiot who came around sniffing at you.
The brutality of his pounding thrusts only increases with each punched out whine he receives from you as a reward. He can feel your cunt tightening around him every time his head bullies its way against your g-spot and with renewed vigor he viscously rubs his fingers over the sensitive nub of your pretty little clit.
Your vision goes white for a moment, your ears ringing and when you finally return to your body you hear a high pitched wailing that you’re shocked to realise is coming from you. Tonowari continues his pounding thrusts, each one punching out another gush of cum from you and a fucked out noise from your throat.
Digging your nails into his shoulders you peer up at him, eyelashes clumped together with tears that you can’t hold back any longer.
“Need you to cum inside, want you to fill me up ‘Wari”
Large hands grip onto your hips, tight enough ,you’re sure, to leave ugly discoloured bruises that you’ll wear around the village with pride. Tonowari's thrusts are animalistic as he chases his release, mutterings of a wild man talking about the image of you round with his next child. Tits plumper than usual full of milk for the baby.
Hands leaving your hips, they slam into the sand next to your head. A punched out snarl leaves him as he finally allows himself to cum inside of you so deeply he’s sure not a drop will spill out.
Tonowari’s nose brushes against your own, a gesture almost too intimate in comparison to the way he just ravaged you. You bask in the silence, breathing each other’s air and feeling each other’s heart beats as the sweat cools on your skin and the mist clouding your mind finally settles.
You can’t stop the laughter that bubbles out of you and you watch a fond smile stretch across Tonowari's face, the smile lines at the edges of his beautiful eyes crinkling and reminding you of how long it has taken you both to finally get here.
“Nga yawne lu oer..”
You stroke his hair as you smile up at him, the love of your life, your best friend.
“Skxawng..”
MDNI 🔞
This one goes out to whoever sent me this ask I apologize for it being late, but better late than never? And I used camera instead <I’m so sorry but I hope you like it still>
Holy crud it’s been ten whole days of this event and I couldn’t be happier to spend them with you guys!
Translation Station
Tsahik: Shaman; Healer; Interpreter of the will of Eywa
Marui: Home (in the Metkayina Language)
Olo’eyktan: Male clan leader
Paysyul: Water lily
Tawtute: Sky person (Human)
Yawne: Beloved
Word Count: 3k
It had been tough news to choke down when Jake had called your brother, Norm, to come help with Kiri after she had remained in a comatose state after having connected to the spirit tree. I’d actually been the one to deliver the news to Jake that it had sounded like Kiri had suffered a seizure, but what was an even harder pill to swallow was the gorgeous pregnant Tsahik coming into the marui - a word I’d learned meant home for the Metkayina- I could have sworn her gaze had lingered on me slightly but it could have been my mind playing tricks on me. Her gaze breaking as she finally looked around the room and avoided eye contact with Neytiri.
“I see that I am not needed here.” She stated in Na’Vi, although I had been mesmerized by the difference in her pronunciation in the words to make my hands work as quickly as I’d wanted them to -out of respect for her and the title she held- I’d learned Na’Vi alongside Norm back on Earth and we often studied together, testing one another until we nailed the language.
She had been carrying a basket filled with things she would have used on Kiri had we not been occupying the space in this Marui, my gaze still caught on her as her beauty was starting to make me nervous, had we overstepped out bounds with her? Was she upset with us at the moment? I attempted to slap Norm’s hand to catch his attention so we could start removing ourselves from her way but he’d written me off as him, Max, and Jake continued talking amongst themselves, I fought to roll my eyes as I capture Neytiri grasping the woman’s arm.
“You are Tsahik!” Neytiri almost growls at the woman and as soon as she turns I realize she is heavily pregnant, I attempt to knock some sense into myself but she speaks before I could move.
“Remove these things.” The woman holds her head high and I feel like I’m about to start shaking from having upset her. Her eyes look over to Neytiri as a means to get her to translate but I’d already stood up at this moment, grabbing my bag, capturing the tsahik’s gaze once more, flinching once Neytiri had opened her mouth as I scooted past her.
“Out! You have done nothing.” I didn’t bother watching the guys scramble as I hear Jake muttering something about them taking a break. I’d taken a liking into Mo’at’s training of the next Tsahik for the Omatikaya and stayed close enough to watch what this Tsahik had been doing but far enough away to give them their privacy if they needed, but with her sturdy work and continual chanting, she’d managed to get Kiri to wake up.
Kiri’s immediate response was to start crying and as Neytiri began to comfort her daughter I could feel the tears welling up in my own eyes. I’d always been a bit sensitive since I was younger, but to have witnessed something like this was like a miracle in and of itself.
That had happened about two months ago, Jake ended up having to talk to me before we left as the Tsahik and Olo’eyktan had wanted to speak with me personally, at that moment I’d believed I’d done something wrong and started feeling nervous, had I been in my human body I would have started sweating profusely but I was metaphorically shitting bricks.
To my surprise the Tsahik had done all of the talking as her husband just watched me, Jake had been there to translate if I needed it but more as my safety cushion, I was surprised to hear that she was straightforward with how I’d managed to capture her attention, how easily I’d followed her instructions without being asked, and how emotional I had been upon seeing Kiri waking up, but she absolutely floored me when she stated that she and her husband had wanted to court me because of a pull she felt for me.
_________
That wasn’t the last time I had been nervous around her, she was rather rough with her words but I understood that part of it was her placing boundaries between herself and her privacy, but nothing would have prepared me for what would happen when I came into our shared marui with a polaroid camera as it was a human contraption, but my intentions had been set to seeing this as a positive thing, although I wasn’t sure how the conversation would go.
Tonowari would be the most understanding out of the two as he was soft spoken, very kind, and usually won over with a kiss or two, but even then I wasn’t sure how he’d handle this either, I’d actually pulled back the flap of the marui and held the camera behind me as I walked in to the beautiful scene before me.
Tonowari had been gingerly rubbing a fragrant oil on Ronal’s belly carefully, it was the kind that helped ease her pain with the burden of having to carry such a large child, it also smelled very sweet, but I knew better than to think I’d be undetected as the woman had eyes all over her head.
“What have you got there, Paysyul?” She asks without turning her head to look at me and I stiffen my body at the thought of having been caught, I let out a sigh as I remove the object from behind my back and bring it forward instantly, knowing I couldn’t hide this thing behind my back forever.
Tonowari is the first to turn and tilt his head in curiosity, but his nose crinkled as he saw what I had been holding, they had both become familiar with being able to tell what tawtute contraptions were and from the look on his face he was leaning more toward not wanting to know what it was. Ronal easily capturing her husbands disapproval is quick to lift her gaze and settle it on mine, bypassing the camera in my hand and immediately talking to me.
“What have you brought into our home, paysyul?” She asks with a flick of her tail, ears going back as her head tilts slightly, one arm going to stroke the oil on her belly as the other planted on the floor to support her as she leans back a bit.
“A camera.” I stated stupidly as I comment on the device in my hand but feel frozen in fear as I’ve never really had an argument with them before, but I knew I was overstepping an invisible boundary by having brought this thing in here in the first place.
“And why have you brought this into our home?” Tonowari is quick to chime in as one of his hands goes to Ronal’s lower back to give her some support as the two are sitting on the floor, his other just settled on his lap.
“I- I wanted to- to tell you-“ I stopped talking at that moment as my nerves had started getting the better of me and I could feel my throat closing up, my eyes were starting to get wet but not to the point that I would cry- at least not yet.
“Take a breath paysyul, we are not mad, just curious.” Ronal stated sweetly and I could feel the tension leaving my shoulders as I drop them.
“Take a breath and start again.” She encourages and it honestly helps as I take in a deep breath and let it out slowly, feeling my heart beating back to normal and my eyes drying up, my vision no longer slightly blurred.
“This is a camera, we used it back in my home to capture a moment in time, and we saved it forever.” I responded once I’d gotten out of my own head.
“Thats what our stories and song cords are for.” Ronal adds in but is given a look from our mate, I could only bite my lip nervously and looked back down.
“Does this hold a sentiment to you?” Tonowari asks sweetly and waits for my answer, all I could do was nod wordlessly.
“I can- I can show you how it works if you want.”
_________
“Th-this isn’t what I had in m-mind-“ I moaned as I slowly slid down Tonowari’s member, my hands placed on his muscular abdomen as I lowered myself even more, still having a hard time taking all of him in, I could still feel a slight sting of pain as I was not used to having to ride him as Ronal usually took that roll. But she was busy stuffing his mouth with her cunt as she rode his face instead.
Although she was on his face she was facing me, placing her hand under my chin to keep me form looking down and closing my eyes, I wondered how a woman as pregnant as her could keep such balance but never questioned it as I’m sure she’s had practice after her first two kids, these two were truly insatiable.
I could feel her snaking her arm around my back and grasping my braid, giving it a sensual tug and hearing a moan rip out my lips, she’d brought my kuru close to her mouth and before I could question what was happening, I can feel her tongue on the tendrils of my kuru, having caught me off guard with doing that I slide all the way down Tonowari’s length, taking him to the hilt and moaning with pain and pleasure as Ronal continues to tongue fuck my kuru.
“She’s squeezing around me already,” Tonowari was strong enough to have lifted Ronal off his face just to speak only for her to shush him and slam herself back down onto his mouth.
Whenever I first had gotten my Avatar, I was eternally grateful to be a driver, but once I had to learn the ways of the Metkayina I noticed my Kuru would purposely split in two before the tendrils started going crazy. I even had to ask Norm and Jake if theirs did the same thing as I never recalled anyone else’s doing this, but to my surprise theirs didn’t, it wasn’t until I’d first mated with Ronal and Tonowari that I noticed theirs did the same, it was fashioned in such a way that the three of us could connect ourselves together while being intimate.
Just as Ronal had been done teasing my Kuru, she’d brought it over to Tonowari’s, connecting the two together and allowing me a second to feel everything he had been feeling at this moment, the gentle calmness that washed over me once connecting to him reminded me of sitting at the beach while listening to the waves lap in the distance, closing my eyes as I feel the warmth of the sun. Right when I lifted my hips from his, I could feel a newer connection, as if it were a windy almost stormy day on the beach but every fiber of my being knew everything would be alright, thats what it felt like when connecting to her.
“Oh paysyul you feel incredible, why don’t you try sliding back down on him hm?” Ronal asks as she lets go of our intertwined kuru, knowing that even if they fell to the floor they wouldn’t disconnect unless we willed them to or pulled them off one another.
Right as I slide back down I could feel Tonowari swipe his tongue over Ronal’s cunt and her hips bucking against his mouth, I let out a whimper, tossing my head back as I let out a strangled moan silently thanking Eywa for allowing us to experience what the other was feeling before a sudden flash of light stirs me out of my thoughts.
I raise my head upright, opening my eyes to find Ronal with the camera near her face as she continues looking through the lens of the camera, she then removes the camera from her face as the picture prints out, she gently takes the slip of paper and removes it from the bottom, airing it out to get the picture to develop.
“Look at you,” She coo’s, turning the picture around to let me catch a glimpse, my eyes closed in pure ecstasy, my hands still settled on Tonowari’s abdomen but you could see through the space between my arms with his teal cock buried deep inside my cobalt blue skin. I could feel the purple blush settling on my cheeks at this moment before feeling Tonowari thrust his hips upward, causing a yelp to leave my lips.
“That feels nice, ‘Wari,” Ronal states as she places her hands on his chest, still holding into the camera as she grinds herself all over his mouth. I sneak my hands past hers and grasp the camera, taking a steady hold of it and looking through the lens, snapping the picture right when Ronal had started coming.
Her eyes slightly opened but only the whites were showing, indicating her eyes were rolled to the back of her head, which often happened as she was sensitive from her pregnancy. Her bottom lip sucked in through her teeth as a sinful moan had escaped, her knee’s coming closer together toward Tonowari’s face and her hips slightly blurred due to the speed at which she had been grinding his face with, her tail raised behind her stiffly. A groan coming from the man below her, whose arms had been wrapped around her thighs in an attempt to keep her placed where she was.
I could feel everything through our bond and felt myself tighten around Tonowari’s length once more, stopping to readjust myself, i stead of having my knee’s straddling him, I’d placed the flats of my feet on the floor of the marui, giving me the best position for me to ride him better.
Ronal has a drunken expression on her face as she has felt fulfilled, she gently slides off his face and once she does I can see most of it from the nose down glistening in our mates juices. I smile down at him and use my arm to extend the camera above our bodies, since I was naked and my breast were perked up it was obvious what position I was in, I snap the picture and wait for it to print out, refusing to tear it off and handing the camera to Ronal, having her take a look at the picture as a smile frames her gorgeous face.
“This one is a moment worth savoring, paysyul.” She smiles at me and places the camera down, leaning over toward me and placing her lips on mine, I couldn’t help but grind my hips in an attempt to get closer to her, hearing our groaning partner below, who desperately grasps my hips. Ronal gently places her hand on my cheek and forces her tongue inside my mouth, as I moan I hear the click of the camera, opening my eyes, slowly sucking on Ronal’s tongue and disconnecting from her mouth fully only to see Tonowari holding the camera with a smug smile on his face.
I could only grow hotter at the scene before me as the two of them had now been paying full attention to me, Ronal placing her hands on my breasts and running her thumbs alongside my nipples, a rush of excitement running through me. Understanding what they wanted I lifted my hips up, with the help of my feet, and slid back down forcefully, coming into contact with Tonowari’s hips and moaning loudly, doing that motion once more as I felt Ronal kissing my neck.
“Goodness Paysyul, I’m closer than you think,” Tonowari growls out as he places the camera on the floor, now fully grasping my hips as he lifts me up himself, watching where our bodies were connected as he slams me down, his hips rising to meet mine, and a lewd moan slipping through my lips as Ronal plays with my nipples.
He keeps the same motion going, making me feel like I was seeing stars, accepting my fate as I screwed my eyes shut, allowing my legs to do some of the work as I rose up and slam back down on his hard cock. I swear I could see flashes going off in my vision and other was at this moment I’d no longer felt Ronal’s light touches on my breasts, I couldn’t bear opening my eyes as I felt the same heat spread across my cheeks.
“Fuck I’m close!” I yelled in English and felt Tonowari set a faster pace as I slam i to his cock without faltering.
It felt as though each slam of his cock was taking my breath away and I was struggling to catch it, I could hear my breaths coming in short shallow huffs as his iron grip on my hips keeps me at bay between losing myself and reality.
“Thats it paysyul, why don’t you be a good girl and come for us?” Ronal coo’s from whatever corner of the marui she had been standing in, another flash going off from the camera.
“I’m fuckin’ close-“ I moan out as I attempt to grasp Tonowari’s abdomen for some sort of stability, feeling as though I was dipping down low in a hole that would be impossible for me to dig myself out of.
“Come Paysyul. Paint my cock white with your juices,” He barely manages to get those words out and I can feel my pleasure toed up in a tight strong that knotted right in my stomach. I could feel it taught in my abdomen ready to burst.
“Thats it,” He coo’s at me in an encouraging manner.
“Come for us yawne,” He speaks once more and thats when I reach my limit.
Everything seems to have frozen in time and all I can feel is my orgasm fast approaching completely knocking me out cold.
It's ok how about them reacting to the romanian movie morometii you can find the whole movie on you tube on cinepub channel with english subtitles it's a movie which shows how the peasants în the interbelic period lived în Romania the rules of thisare the same from my request with the revenant still aplies if you want to of course:)
Okie dokie! So for this one, I imagine only the adults watching it. So enjoy~!!
P.S: I think this is the first time that I couldnt think of a title so im using the movie title instead.
-----------------
Morometii
Mo’at sighed tiredly as she just finished the last patient in getting healed. Her age is getting to her, not as energetic as she was before. She isn't complaining though, any injuries are simply related to getting hurt during a hunt or taking it too far in training. So the tsahik cleans her tent, feeling very excited for her special plans tonight.
A movie night with her family.
Simplu, a fellow human from the base, made a high recommendation for mo’at to enjoy. Mo’at does not oppose it and is open to anything. Except for overlight high CGI movies. Those are an absolute eye sore to mo’ats aging eyes. How can anyone stand those? Too flashy for her.
Either way, mo’at trusts smplu with her opinion. Even if the name is a bit confusing.
“Moro…metee?” mo’at repeated slowly.
Simply chuckled as she held an old DVD box. “Morometii” she said, slowly so Mo'at could say it clearly.
“Morometii” this time the tsahik says it right.
“That's right,” Simplu praised.
“Will it give me a headache?” mo’at asks. Simplu shakes her head.
“No no, unlike the other films, this one is simple. It is black and white and gray scales, no dramatic shots or anything realistically fake”
If mo’at had eyebrows, one would be raised. Her doubts clearly showed.
“And the plot?”
Simplu giggled, “what use of me telling you? That would spoil the fun”
“And the children?” mo’at asks as she noticed neither her grandchildren nor the reef children were present.
“They all went to watch something else,” Neytiri replied.
“Simplu did mention that the kids might get bored with this type of movie, so I let them have a go ahead to watch something else,” Jake added. He and tonowari were making sure the ladies were comfortable with pillows plush and soft, ronal gathering the favorite snacks, and neytiri helping her mother get more comfy.
“Won't simplu be joining us?” mo’at asks.
The recommended movie is from Simplu's homeland, wouldn't she be interested to see?
“Here! I'm here! Sorry I'm late, had to help the kids with the other dvd player” simplu shouted as she entered the area. Mo’at smiled in relief.
Jake smiled, “alright, lets start this” and pressed play.
The screen was filled with imagery, and like simplu said, it was black and white. Though, unlike the crips and clear vision, it looked grainy and much older.
“Already into an interesting start” ronal muttered as she gets comfortable beside tonowari.
The first shot begins with many views of objects, trees, the skies, all slowly to allow the viewers to see.
“Already getting a sense of gloom jake comments as the slow soundtrack plays. Its lingering long notes, short haunting notes, give a sense that the movie will not be a happy one.
The next shot was of an elderly man, staring straight at the camera as he smokes a cigarette. Unfamiliar animal sounds in the background. The shot changes to a lady waking up from what looks like a family pile.
“Do humans sleep like us? Huddling together?” neytiri asks as she notices more people sleeping around the lady.
“In the ancient times yes” simplu answered.
The lady stood up and stared at the man who was smoking, speaking an unknown language.
“Oops! My bad!” Jake stood up quickly to pause it and went to settings.
“You forgot?” simplu asks, jake chuckles nervously as he nodded.
“What are you doing?” Neytiri asks, seeing weird words on the screen.
“Changing to english, so everyone can understand what's going on” Jake replies, after a fix, the movie resumes. And this time everyone can hear the characters.
“I dreamed of a white piglet….”
The man and the lady began to speak, their words low and simple. Very straightforward.
“Their clothes are interesting…” mo’at took note of.
While they do mutter some comments, the rest of the na’vi adults let their eyes wonder if this new style of film. Or old.
As they see how the humans interact, Ronal and Neytiri couldn't help but admire how the overall land, the animals, and the people themselves looked. ‘Farmers’ as jake and Simplu would state. Farmers who take care of their herd and families.
Not so far from how their own clans farm certain things.
“Milk the goat! What will you eat?”
“Crayfish!”
“It seems through times women have not changed” Tonowari muttered yet earned a slap on his shoulder from his wife.
“Nagging sure is a dominant trait in women” Jake agreed, only to also earn a harsh slap at the back of his head from neytiri.
The scene changes to the youngest boy, waking up from what looked like a nap. Getting up he looks at his surroundings, it seems to be a small wooded area, the sheeps not so far from him. The music makes it almost an eerie feeling to the scene. The wind rustles through the trees, ripples forming from the water, the grassing swaying.
“What are they doing?” neytiri wonders, seeing two young men hiding behind some trees as the sheep run towards the corn field. Making the young boy run after them.
Before anything more could be talked about, the scene changes to the mother. A worried look on her face. Supper is ready she announces, her family members going to the home to eat. All the while throwing odd insults.
“I never heard of such scolding like that” mo’at whispers.
Simplu chuckles a bit, “that is romanian mothers for you”
The scene goes on, the family having their dinner, all while the mother worries about the youngest son.
“Telling the other to shut up, why can't they themselves?” Ronal says, not liking how the father and sons command their mother/wife.
“Times were different, family dynamics back then were more strict” simplu explains. Though the explanation doesn't seem to satisfy the reef tsahik.
“Hmf, still”
“On the other hand we need money…The loan must be paid back in the fall” Morometii explains to his son.
Money is often mentioned in the movie. Neytiri and mo’at only understand very bit how item transactions work in human customs, but never a whole lot.
“Why is money so important?” neytiri asks jake. He sighs a bit, letting his mind go back in time.
“For humans, it is everything. It is what made the earth go round as they say” he replies.
“How?” she perseus. How can money make a giant planet move? Is it essential?
“Money didnt always make the world go around. The early humans were fine without it. Only now, yeah, humans cant live without it” simplu adds.
“Look, money is confusing even for adults, so try not to stress so much on it” jake tells. Simplu gives him a look, without him knowing.
The scene changes to that of the youngest son and his mother. The mother provides some food for her child, wondering of his words. “What about Bisisica? What do you mean?” the mother asks.
“This is really confusing…” ronal frowns slightly, still trying to understand what really is going on, even the names! There is so many people already!
“It will all make sense later on ronal” simplu reasures. Though she can understand, while she loves the movie, it took her a few watches to fully understand the whole movie. Then again, simplu’s first time watching it was when she was a child.
The son replies as he enjoys his food, repeating what he overheard from his father and brother.
“Woe betide you if you come up the hill! You won't have any joy left in you” the mother scolds. However her words left everyone, except for simplu, confused.
“What does that even mean?” Jake asks. He felt so lost at that point.
Nila and Morometii grab some axes and go towards the acacia tree. As they made their way, farther ahead in the field were echos of a weeping woman. Her cries reached far in the morning. Crying for a man named ‘ion’.
“Oh that poor woman…” mo’at covers her mouth. Hearing the woman weep so much made her heart tug. Reminding herself. How mo’at would weep for her descended mate.
Neytiri and ronal feel terrible as well. Never imagining themselves living a life without their husbands. Wondering what could have happened to the woman’s dead husband.
But as the ladies feel pity, nila and morometii begin to cut the tree. While being watched from afar. The youngest boy seeing them cutting away at the tree. Letting his mind wonder back to a certain winter time.
From hearts being tugged, nila and morometii managed to bring down the tree.
“Why such a need? What did that tree ever do to them?” ronal hisses. It seems humanity has not changed even in ancient times.
“The acacia wood is high value, that is why. When there were plenty, many humans back then would use acacia wood for how good it was” simplu explains. Ronal simply crosses her arms.
“Bah! Holding a mimicking weapon and already I'm seeing the resemblance” Ronal complains. Barely 30 minutes into the movie and she is hating on Paraschiv. Nila is not too far from her hate list. Dressing up like soldiers and practicing the routines.
“Has war already existed in that era?” tonowari asks.
Jake and simplu made a face, “it has been for thousands of years”
While the movie both in plot and making of it, war has always been there. Pretty difficult to get rid of in humans.
“Nila! Where are you running off to?”
“To the pre military service!”
Morometii and what looks to be his neighbor, Dimitru, discusses the usefulness of serving military areas. Why work for the country when you can stay and work with your family? Seems something more in morometii’s ideals.
“But nila won't be an officer even if there is no one else around”
“Damn, seems he doesn't believe in nila” Jake comments.
In Jake's eyes, nila seems odd. Not odd in being the weirdo of the family, but more odd as if nila is still somewhat like a child. Earlier fighting with paraschiv as if they were toddlers fighting over a toy. Morometii mentioned nila is 24, a full grown man. So why does Nila act as if he is younger? Even the youngest child acts wiser than nila.
“Ugh, I never understand why men have the need to blow out smoke” mo’at gives a disgusted expression. 45% of the time morometii is smoking. Constantly. In what she knows of human biology, inhaling that much smoke can damage the lungs.
“Why hurt themselves like that?” she asks.
“For humans, it is a relaxing method. Eases their nerves and minds. But it does come at a cost” simplu answers.
Understanding humans will forever be a confusing and difficult task.
“What is he doing?!” tonowari shouts.
Little boys were enjoying a game of hopping on top of one another. Enjoying their time together while one of the older sons of morometii along with the youngest interrupts their fun. Integrating each child until patience ran thin. To the point where the older son, who is an adult, is threatening and slapping the boys to get an answer out of them.
It did not sit well with tonowari.
How can anyone treat a child like that? Especially not of their own blood!
The poor child that was being slapped confessed on who the perpetrator was, his voice shaking.
Niculae, the youngest son, was being told to get them. Though the boy doesnt move. Much to his brother's frustrations.
“No! No more!” neytiri looks away. Seeing the boy being slapped physically pained her. To what extent can humans be so cruel?
“Sadly neytiri, it is our reality. Back then children were not treated with much kindness nor respect” simplu informs. She remembers back when she first saw that scene, made her feel the slap too. But the more she watched it, the more she became numb to it. Maybe not a good sign of how normal it is now.
Jake nudges her to keep watching, not a good scene, but they will get over it.
The music gets intense, making the situation become scarier.
One of the boys did come up, telling how niculae broke their skull. Only to be rough handled by achim. The adult telling the boy to throw niculae to the ground. Clearly the boy was very uncomfortable.
“Fight him now! Come on!” achim tells the other boys. All clearly frightened. The same boy threw niculae to the ground twice. Niculae fighting back. Taking control of the situation until he was over the other boy. Achim finally calling an end to it.
Not far from what is happening, the group of women were watching, Doing nothing.
“Do they not interfere?” ronal asks. The women just sit and not take action.
“Back then it was easier and safer for women to not do anything. Letting the men sort it out” jake tells.
Great, in ronal’s eyes, humanity hated women and children.
“A play?”
The na’vi tilt their heads in curiosity.
A man dressed in a silly costume is playfully scaring the locals that are around to see the entertainment. By hearing a signal, many more men dressed in old military-like outfits and made a circle to dance around in. Music plays and it becomes a silly cheery mood.
Many laugh and seem to be enjoying the play.
While in the background one of morometii’s daughters sneakily goes behind his back and meet in the glade with someone.
“I hate this movie,” neytiri hisses.
Polina, the girl who went to meet the gentleman, Birica, was no gentleman in her eyes. The girl confesses of whom she chooses to marry and earns a slap.
“In frightens me to know you share blood with those people” mo’at turns to simplu. She shrugs a bit.
“Things have changed over time mo’at. Its not the same as before”
“Hopefully the change is better”
“Oh certainly”
“Maria, you should stop working and come to church to listen to the holy gospel. Your soul will rot in hell!”
“I dont mind”
“I keep forgetting how religious people were in those times…” simplu muttered. Any and all religion on earth was slowly dying as technology became its new god among humans,
“What is hell? Has anyone returned from there?”
Maria and Morometii clearly showing their shared blood as siblings. Work being favored over god.
The words that comes from maria seems that of hopelessness and seeing no light.
“At least she is keeping it real” jake says.
In his eyes, Maria reflects how he viewed the world many years ago. What is the point of worshiping something that guarantees nothing?
Except for when maria insults and randomly slaps niculae.
“Fools!” she shouts.
Another play has taken the scene. Morometii and his friends went to see the children displaying a cute play for many to see. A young girl wearing a pretty flower crown tells of what looks like a story. Many applaud her as a man tells of the winners.
“First prize for boys! Morometii Niculae” the man announces.
Morometii stands still as he hears the name of his son.
Niculae walks up to the stage wearing his father’s hat as the instructor gives him a flower crown and a paper.
“Take off your hat! Poor boy. I bought him that hate, and he doesnt even know how to wear it” morometii chuckles a bit.
“Lies” simplu snapped.
Everyone leans forward, just as the audience in the movie, they all stood silent to hear what poem the son wrote.
“Stage frights?” Jake questions.
Niculae gotten sick, unable to read his poem and was set aside.
“Oh all of a sudden he cares,” neytiri comments. Seeing morometii showing concern for niculae.
“Probably to save face” ronal says with the same tone.
It was time to reap.
Morometii, his family, along with other farmers woke up early. Many hop on their wagons and horses and all head to the fields.
Large lands of crops ready to be harvested.
Using sickle blades, the family begins to cut away and have the weat be collected.
This part piqued the na’vi’s interest. They were not exposed much in how farming is done in human standards. So this was in a way new to them.
“Bending down like that, and with still so much to reap. Doesn't that hurt their backs?” tonowari asks.
Simplu and Jake nod.
“At that time, no machines existed to make farming easier. All done bare hands. And that is to feed thousands of people” simple explained.
They more how the farmers worked. Taking what little shade is provided from the hot sun. Resting a bit and continuing with work. It looked like a fruitful harvest. Many work together to get it done.
Simplu looks at the hard work, feeling an odd sense of nostalgia, “I wonder what it was like to eat real bread….”
“father….I am going to school”
“So go”
The family was eating their meal in silence. Only simple comments were shared. Nila muffles his laugh. Niculae looks at his father, “you’ll see”. He gets up and leaves. His other siblings smiling at him, silently laughing at him.
“Morometii doesnt believe in his son” mo’at says in a matter of fact tone. Seems to hardly believe anything in the youngest son.
“Simplu, just what else was normal in romania? Mocking a child for wanting to learn? Perfering to slack their way to life?” neytiri turns to look and simplu. The Romanian girl gulps at her sharp gaze.
“Easy babe, you are making it seem like she has some fault,” jake says.
“Many countries have different cultures. Just like your clans. Romania had its own….ummm…ways” simple replied.
They continue to see the movie in silence until something else piqued someones interest.
The mother wakes up, noticing morometii wide awake as her children still lay asleep. Gripping her shirt, right where her heart is, Telling her husband of her worried for the youngest child, who wishes to go to school. Morometii carelessly saying to let the boy go.
“I cant stand it anymore! I’ll go mad!” the mother weeps.
“I will go mad with this movie!” neytiri onces again screeches out.
“And I will go mad myself watching your insanity,” ronal growls. Having enough of Neytiri's loud comments. Yes she understands her frustrations but to shout every 5 minutes? It can get annoying really quick.
“Alright, alright, lets cool down. We are almost done, baby, hey, lets try to just enjoy it alright?” jake does his best to calm down her wife. She rolls her eyes but silently agrees. For now.
In the midst of the small dispute, mo’at listens carefully to what the mother is saying.
“I dreamt of niculae was taken to the hospital. I went there. There was a little light at the morgue ‘oh god! The boy is dead!’ And I woke up”
It was a very concerning thing to have as a dream.
Mo’at can only see what else can occur.
“Tita! Llinca! Hurry up!”
When the tax collector returned, the daughters and sons of morometii quickly hid their things and horses. Morometii himself just layed on his bed with an empty look in his eyes. Perhaps lost in what to do.
After hearing the possibility of achim not returning, and no money to pay. It took a toll on him.
The tax collector and his assistant came with a full force. If morometii won't pay, then they will take their belongings. The wife fought against him to not take the cauldron.
“Ruthless men, all of them”
But none could have been more than paraschiv.
Waking up his family, throwing items against his sister. Causing an uproar in his home.
“What possessed you Paraschiv?” Morometii asks.
Even in the morning, parachiv was different. Having an odd cocky attitude. Even slamming his bedroom door near his mother.
“Break! Bang! What else are you able to do!?” the mother shouts.
Jake looks at the ongoing scene, “maybe he has had enough?”
“I break, I bang, are they yours?” the son asks.
The mother had her daughter call their father again. Parachive laughs.
“You think I'm scared of him? Those days are long gone”
“Damn, never mind. He is in a rebellion phase” jake corrects himself. The sudden mood change and overall personality of parachive is certainly questionable.
Even more when he demands something, only for his sister to bite back with her words. That ticked him.
“How can he slap her like that!?”
Parachive went for the trunk when his sister, llinca tried to stop him. Only for parachiv to slap and hit her. Screams and cries were heard. But parachiv got what he wanted. And morometii seemed to be on his side.
“Really, who is the bad guy here?” jake was starting to question just how much of a poor victim morometii is. Slapping his own wife as she cries in distress.
“As you like” mormometii says in calm defeat. The sudden voice change when speaking to his wife compared to speaking to his sons.
“And he lets them get away like that?” ronal says, astonished. There is so many things wrong in her eyes. Mother being disrespected, hitting a sibling like she was an enemy, favoring the sons in a spoilt way. None of that would be tolerated.
“Oh wait a sec”
2 minutes later Morometii went to his sons, mostly paraschiv and beat the shit out of him with a stick.
“That's more like it” neytiri smirks. Enjoying paraschiv screams and cries for his father to stop.
“You show hound!”
Scolding and yelling, morometii lets his voice rise as he lectures his sons. The mother and daughters try to stop him from hurting parachiv any further.
“The sons should be grateful for what they have” neytiri liking the words morometii speaks.
“Parachiv and nila….they ran away. And they took the horses” Catrina tells morometii. She and her daughters had long dreaded expressions.
There was a long pause
“Alright, get the little one ready” morometii said before walking away.
Niculae looked as his father and at his mother with an odd smirk. But it disappeared in a instant.
All while moromettii goes into the barn, sitting down to gather himself before making a big decision.
“He is going to sell that land” jake is predicting. And correct he was.
Slobbery, a farming neighbor, is willing to buy the land he wants from morometii. Both the land that is from morometii’s long gone sister, and the plot behind his home.
The next scene, niculae and morometii get on the wagon with a recently purchased horse. Catrina cries as she sees her son become farther away as morometii takes off to the road.
“He is going to school afterall” mo’at says. Feeling sad for catrina. Her world falling apart right before her eyes.
Morometii and niculae sat in silence in the wagon. The cold foggy air hitting their faces. It was hard to see ahead and know what was in front of them. They were like that for a few minutes before morometii stopped to ask.
“Niculae, where are we going, son?”
There was no direct answer, only turning left and kept on going.
The credits rolled in, thus ending the movie.
“Well that was…. interesting” jake commented. Having mixed feelings about it.
“It's one of your favorite simplu?” mo’at asks as she gets up.
“Not exactly a favorite, but one I grew up with” simplu answers.
Ronal and Tonowari get up as well, all stretching from sitting down so much.
“Those people, I am still confused and lost. How did the romanians lived?” ronal asks. Simplu smiles, feeling a bit giddy.
“If you are interested I would be delighted to teach you”
Ronal and tonowari shared a similar nod.
“Yes, it would be interesting to learn of your people. Some parts did not sit well with me however” tonowari says. Simplu nodded in understanding.
“Fair, there will be many things that may not seem fair or right in your eyes. But that was how it was back then. When facing a never ending struggle, people get desperate and dont think right”
While they wanted to discuss more, they noticed how late it gotten.
“In a better suited time, you can be our Romanian teacher” mo’at lightly joked.
“Oh I be honored” simplu smiled.
Finally it is done! I had to re-watch it like three times to fully understand it myself! I did purposely not mention the heavy political stuff since politics itself is confusing.
Ngl some parts made me a bit uncomfortable but hopefully this turned out to everyone's liking! Until next time! See ya!
Snippet:
“If it was going to be like this, why did you treat me so well?”
“(Y/n)-”
“Why did you make the people think you are a good mate, a good Na’vi?!”
Tears fell from (Y/n)’s eyes. Betrayal, sadness and resentment was all she could feel, but also a little bit of a desire to still believe… a faint hope that if she told him, he would listen.
“It’s not too late. Let me go.”
“...I love you.”
“Take me back, please...”
“I love you.”
“Please, don’t let me hate you…”
The other daughter| prologue
Mo’at named the girl Atokirina, she saw something in the girl. Some kind of connection. She took her in and raised her, teaching her the ways of the tsahik. She along with Kiri became her tsakrem.
Not once did Kirina try to get close to the sully parents. And yet they always brushed her off. She showed them all of her accomplishments, all of her achievements, but there was always that look of cold. She wanted their approval. Kirina made Neytiri tops with a smile hoping that she would glance her way.
Yet to her disappointment, whenever she visited their home she saw the tops she made thrown somewhere in the corner or ripped apart. She tried to brush it off like it didn’t mean anything but it did, and it hurt.
She had good relationship with the kids. Always playing with them being around them.
Now she’s 14. And the sully’s will be leaving omaticaya clan. Will they take her with them?
———————————————————————
So this is another idea I thought of and you decide if you want it to become a series? Of course the Chosen series will continue
