Malleus headcanon I thought about while trying to sleep :

So think about this, Malleus has a forked tongue. I was thinking about this and it's such a cool headcanon because he's literally a dragon, a lizard. So what if he has a forked tongue?

Like imagine him and Yuu eating ice cream and he's just eating and they just see his tongue and be like : ??? How come he's never said anything about it?? And Malleus is like : Oh yes I do have a forked tongue, it's not that big of a deal :)

These lyrics fit them so well, and I want to point out that, as always, the lyrics can fit both Jamil and Kalim (though the first bit is undoubtedly Jamil)

The fact that Kalim never meant to hurt Jamil, that he loved him so dearly and saw him as the only person he could ever trust. He meant so well, thought they were best friends, and at one point in their lives they were, but as the song says, Jamil isn’t a vessel for Kalim’s “good intent”. The way Jamil sees the world and Kalim is fascinating, because it’s actually quite skewed from reality! Both Jamil and Kalim have this, though they’re kinda on opposite ends of the spectrum. When Jamil said that every night he prayed that Kalim would just disappear, that really stuck with me. That desperation, that anger, those emotions he’s been bottling up for so so so long. Its a really powerful line!

The fact that even after everything that happened in book 4, even after all the hurt they’ve caused eachother, even after knowing how much Jamil hates him, Kalim still wants Jamil around. He still wants to be his friend, his equal. He still wants him as his vice-housewarden. Kalim is fine with Jamil, even whilst knowing the horrible things he’s done and how he feels about Kalim. Partly because he blames himself, partly because he thinks Jamil can get better. The only person he was ever able to trust betrayed him and he’s all alone, and yet Kalim shows so much strength. Kalim is so incredibly strong, for enduring everything he has and still managing to smile, for still going and for hoping that things will eventually get better.

I’ve already ranted about these two a lot, so I don’t really know what else to say without repeating things over and over again or making this too cluttered and disorganized, but these two and their dynamic will always live rent free in my heart. They’re so complex, and I could honestly talk for hours on end about them!

But omg the thought of being turned into a mindless sex doll for the boys and you can't complain or fight back. alright i've gotta say that i'm genuinely so obsessed with people feeling collective panic and threatened by the idea of juan being in love with lucrezia (mind you, it's just one-sided) even when everything about his arc on the show makes it very clear. and it always happens every time i post about lucrezia/juan lmao

anyway for instance, juan choosing a wife that resembles her, his aggressive overprotectiveness towards her, how furious he was over paolo because, unlike cesare who knew who paolo was to lucrezia, juan never knew he was lucrezia's solace but instead saw him as someone trying to have his way with his sister and cause her a scandal, (newsflash: one of juan's character aspects is that he's the black sheep of the family and always being excluded from everything), and he thought he genuinely did something to protect her honor. and how her attempt to kill him to avenge paolo broke him entirely in different ways (in the sense that he realized he hurt her and that she hates him for killing paolo), yet he tried to reconcile with her because he doesn't want to lose her affection and respect, and after being rejected again by someone he loves deeply made him lose his mind which caused him to hurt her back.

seeing people downplay his feelings and affection towards her simply because they can't stand his character and don't even want to understand him while desperately wanting cesare to be the pinnacle of almost everything just screams of copium and an inferiority complex and this only gives in to how interesting and compelling juan's character and his potential is when they could've simply just enjoy how tragic these three siblings are and how juan being trapped in a position to protect the family with massive expectations set him in opposition of his siblings and his ways of not knowing how to react caused them all to misunderstand each other and made them forever disconnected.
