Bringing this back in the wake of the OFF remake having to go with new music because, y'all don't know how lucky you are that they made it actually good.

Like, Danny Baranowsky's music for Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac was peak, and I would argue iconic even (Especially in the case of Isaac), but the Ridiculon music that replaced it...

...I'd say it's like if Tool made elevator music, but honestly, that'd probably more interesting than the alluminum-foil-metal sonic equivalent of packing peanuts we ended up with!

Because we did, in fact, need a rock opera version of the opera sequence. I know it's almost 9 minutes long and 10 years old but just bear with me here: it's glorious.

Dopo un anno di successi nel 2023, tra cui tre singoli nella Top Ten della Classifica Indipendenti e la pubblicazione di “Tommy al Lunapark” a maggio 2024, il duo musicale Giantheo torna con un nuovo singolo intitolato "Hey tu". 

Questo brano rappresenta una dichiarazione d'amore unica nel panorama musicale odierno, dove spesso si guarda molto più all'immagine e poco alla sostanza.

"Hey tu" è un invito a riscoprire la vera essenza della musica, quella che tocca il cuore e l'anima, al di là delle apparenze. Giantheo, con la loro capacità di trasmettere emozioni autentiche attraverso la musica, continuano a dimostrare il loro talento e la loro sensibilità artistica.

Nel 2003 Giancarlo Prandelli incontra Matteo Sainaghi, in arte Theo e da subito si crea un magico feeling che li porta a formare i Giantheo.

Praticamente esordienti partecipano alla trasmissione “Le Iene” su Italia1 ed entrano con il brano “Tortuga” nella compilation “Cantatù vol.6” e “Superestate latina”. Vincono il Festivalshow e partecipano in tutta Italia a trasmissioni televisive e festival.

Sono protagonisti del tour di Rtl 102.5 e ospiti del tour di Sanremo giovani.

Terminato questo periodo entrambi si dedicano a una serie di progetti paralleli. In particolare Giancarlo Prandelli, cantante, compositore, autore, artista, polistrumentista, arrangiatore, audio engineer, programmatore e produttore discografico italiano, realizza innumerevoli produzioni e collaborazioni per artisti, tra i quali Laura Pausini, Mina, Omar Pedrini, Fausto Leali, Laura Abela, Michela Coppa, Nina Morić, Blanco, e tanti altri.

È figlio di Sergio Prandelli (già figlio del musicista Andrea Prandelli) e rappresenta tre generazioni di musicisti e produttori.

Theo compone brani rap sin dalla fine degli anni ‘80, ma coltiva contemporaneamente la sua passione sportiva diventando personal trainer e laureandosi in Fisioterapia e scienze motorie. Diventa presidente e fondatore della GDM, acronimo di Ginnastica Dinamica Militare Italiana ed è autore del libro “Intelligenza Motoria”. 

Negli anni ‘90 crea, insieme a Michel Altieri il Gruppo Trendist Attitude, che li porta a lavorare come performer nei migliori club Italiani ed esteri del periodo.

Dopo questa pausa i due decidono di riformare i Giantheo pubblicando un primo singolo dal titolo “Conchiglie” a cui segue “Catene”. Questo secondo brano in particolare nasce da un idea di Theo ed è ispirato al progetto della GDM Italiana. A maggio 2022 esce il primo singolo del nuovo progetto “Uni Verso” che raggiunge le vette delle classifiche italiane indipendenti, seguito a settembre dall'intensa ballad “Mar Profondo”, anch'essa al top delle rotazioni radiofoniche. Il 2023 è l’anno di “Quattro stagioni” (gennaio), “Figli delle stelle” (maggio) e “Madre Terra” (settembre). Il 2024 vede l’uscita di “Tommy al Lunapark” (maggio) e il 20 settembre del nuovo singolo “Hey tu”.

Dopo tre singoli nella Top Ten della Classifica Indipendenti, il duo bresciano torna con un nuovo singolo dedicato ai sogni e desideri di un bambino

Dopo un anno di successi nel 2023, tra cui tre singoli nella Top Ten della Classifica Indipendenti, i Giantheo tornano con il loro ultimo singolo, "Tommy al Lunapark", una canzone dedicata al figlio di Theo, Tommaso, di 9 anni.

Il testo di "Tommy al Lunapark" rappresenta l'esperienza di vita e i desideri di Tommaso. Alcune frasi sono tratte da situazioni reali della vita familiare, mentre altre sono ispirate dai video dei tik toker che il bambino ama guardare. La canzone è semplice all'ascolto e tocca il cuore di chiunque abbia mai sognato di essere al Luna Park.

Il video musicale, diretto dal talentuoso regista Mauro Cartapani, accompagna la canzone in un viaggio onirico in auto. Le due ambientazioni nel video sono volutamente diverse: una rappresenta lo stile regolato e sveglio di un bambino, mentre l'altra cattura il suo vero carattere sognatore.
