Hurray, finally done! It's based on a quick pencil drawing I did a couple years back, I still liked the idea so I made it in colour.

(Though I'm worried I encountered my old enemy - drawing things in one picture with different levels of realism🫣)

I think it's really cool how the beginning and the end of Lara and Werner's adventures together have a pretty distinct lighting and colour palette.

And the moods of Lara and Werner are also… distinctly different 😅

I found out that they announced a Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered for February 2025 and I legit cried

However, different from the first Remaster, I'm a bit apprehensive about this one. If they just upscale them 1-to-1 it's not gonna be well-received, they gotta fix the bugs and the irritating bits

The reason why the Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered was such a resounding success is because the first three games were pretty good, with only the third one imo having more frustrating moments and map design Having the expansions remastered also helped =P

TR 4-6, however, had bugs and pretty frustrating bits, plus some weird map designs or badly telegraphed stuff. The open-world aspect of TR4, for example, was a neat idea but not that well implemented in practice and you spent quite a while running around like a headless chicken not knowing what to do or where to go. TR5 is TR5, that game had some fun lil' bits (my favorite was the whole Russian chapter, more specifically the submarine) but it was quite buggy... ESPECIALLY the last chapter. Angel of Darkness is a game I love buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut it's also super buggy, had lots of cut content, bad development cycle, etc, etc.

So yeah, while I love we're getting them remade, I'm a bit more fearful for these three games.
