For me, as a fan of the first seasons of The Flash, this date is something special.

It is now that I realize that the future has truly arrived. I remember the day I watched the pilot of the series and saw this date. Then I thought, damn, I have to wait another ten years, wow, that’s a long time...

And now we are here.

April 25, 2024.

The day the Flash disappeared in a flash of light while fighting Reverse Flash. Who would have thought, right?

We survived. Wow.

Thursday is Flash day. Thursday is review day for the first season.

Thursday is April 25, 2024.

Thursday is the day Flash missing vanishes in crisis.

Amazing feeling.

There's a lot going on in this scene.

Dan recognizes a problem in JD's life but he also knows he can't be the one to tell him because of his previous failings throughout their history.

He also is perceptive enough to recognize JD is deeply affected by what Dr. Cox says.

He's is also perceptive enough to realize what JD really wants out of life and his career.

Then we hit a really interesting philosophical point that I haven't really seen in other places: Cox owes a duty to JD that he never really intended to make. While he fights tooth and nail against it, he's JD's mentor and he does owe it to him to not accelerate making him jaded at his job.

Dan also has a familial duty to JD that's a little harder to nail down, so we'll leave it.

I need to rant abt Harry & Cisco piloting the waverider together during the crossover??

Piloting the waverider is HARD a lot of the legends can't do it. A lot of the legends VOMIT on their first waverider ride, let alone being able to pilot the damn thing.

Then, Harry & Cisco get on the controls and they make it seem easy???? They make it seem... simple??? They actually switch out who's in the driver's seat WHILE the waverider is flying and the ship continues to fly?????

I know Cisco technically time travels already but I needed to rant about this. Only Harry & Cisco would learn one of the single hardest things the legends have done and then continue to quote movies at each other while they navigate, mid fight scene

I'm sorry but it's BIGGGG river song vibes!! The Doctor: "Why isn't it making that noise it usually makes??? you're piloting it wrong," River: "no sweetie, you fly it with the parking break on all the time, love,"

Sara Lance: "why aren't you guys vomiting..." Harry & Cisco: "you telling me you guys don't use gideon's anti-nausea button?" Sara: "her WHAT”
