Im late af but!! I wanna know more about Natural born killers! Or Bokami! ♡

Ah! Thanks sm for asking Q ! ❤︎₊ ⊹ I shared a bit about Bokami here!

Natural Born Killers, Toji and Akami are my stinky lil dirtbags in this au. She’s just as done with jujutsu society as he is. She’s a ‘fixer’ of sorts. They meet at a dive bar one night, hookup, part ways, but they keep crossing paths. Sometimes they’ll work together, but for the most part they just pass the time until one of them wakes up in their seedy motel room to find the other gone, split town, some of the cash missing. Its a constant back and forth, until the day he dies. Both unwillingly to truly love again. I'm trying to write this one a lil different to fit the gritty, americana vibe I'm going for, so thats a fun challenge too!  

'Toji is a stoic man. The strong silent type. He only lives for the now, the money on his next job, the horse running the clock on the bet he just placed, the snarling snapping maw of the Doberman in the pit. There’s a weather worn look in his eyes, the crows feet and dimple beside his scar, a lifetime in those lines. Things they won’t talk about over a bottle of bourbon, sweet honey whiskey. Sat in his lap on the second floor balcony of the motel 6. Akami picking at a rust spot on the viridian paint of the iron wrought railing. Cigarette in her other hand, held to his lips so he can take a drag. They’re no good for each other but they’re plain rotten for anyone else.'

Akami grew up in a non-sorcerer family, she started seeing curses as a kid, she’d draw them in her coloring books over and over because they haunted her, her parents thought she was a monster-that something was wrong with her. They sent her to a boarding school in Kyoto. She ends ups finding out about jjk society and goes to school there for a bit. Kakashi is in this au, as a small unnamed background character bc he will always be her one true love! lol, He’s a distant relative of Satoru and they meet and fall in love, but the Gojo Clan doesn’t accept her as an outsider. I haven’t decided exactly why and how and all that, but on the day they’re supposed to marry he dies in her place. And she’s totally done with jjk society after that—which leads her to Toji.  

She didn’t plan to fall into this business. She had it made, fell in love. But she was no one, just another grade 1 from the sticks with no family name. Wasn’t enough for a distant relative of the kid with the six eyes. He had Snow White hair, no… silky silver… she doesn’t remember. He took her home for the Clan elders' blessing, hand in hand under the shinto shrine, but there was something in the sake cups. Akami doesn’t know if they planned to kill them both or only her; she spilled her cup when he convulsed, soaked between the ridges of the tatami. It was like battery acid in his lungs, smelled hot like a lightning strike. She can still taste his last breath. Made a widow on her wedding day. She could have been happy, but he’s gone, she is too. Or maybe she’s more herself than she's ever been. Only got to be someone else when she was with him, someone good, someone better. 

After Toji dies, Akami tries to put her life back together, moves to Shibuya, eventually gets stuck in the veil on Halloween Night. After being attacked by transfigured humans and running into Mahito she starts to fight back, and ends up aligning herself with Tokyo school. I do know that she see’s Toji again after he’s resurrected, but she’s not strong enough to hold his interest and he goes into Dagon’s domain instead.  —I toyed around with her and Kusakabe having a little thing during this time too, but I’m not sure. I do know that she dies in end, during the fight with Sukuna.

Since many of you liked the masterpost with visual kei movies, which proves many of us are still around, is there anything else you'd like info on? In case I know sth that could help I mean.

Is there for example a band you were always interested in but never got down to searching, or one that still intrigues you, but you just never found the right song to like them? Cause sometimes some bands do have some bangers that never make it to an mv form, I mean.

I don't know everything about every band, of course, and my knowledge lessens greatly when it comes to bands formed after 2018, but still, if you got a question do share it, maybe one of my followers has sth you need.

I think this is a fair suggestion that his transformation might go even further, especially considering the fact that he not only barely has any fur, but also his skin keeps its color! Beasthood has a consistent trend of making skin that unnatural grey color:

(LOVE that they bothered to give bestial hunter's normal form unnatural skin color too despite the fact that we can't see it in game! Sometimes their attention to detail is just.. something)

Amelia is probably the biggest pointer as we are clearly shown her human skin color on her hands in a cutscene.. In fact, arguably, Gascoigne is doing a bit better than average Huntsmen, or even better than the fellow Old Hunters (look at hostile Old Hunter mob and 'true' form of Bestial Hunter). He has been losing himself to the hunt and paranoia for a while now and finally lost it, but he doesn't have that much fur, his skin color didn't alter. (He also doesn't have horns unlike Cleric Beasts, Abhorrent Beasts and even Large Huntsmen, but these are not for all beasts so we don't have to count them!)

I think that Huntsmen are transforming gradually over time, consumed by blood and aggression, and their 'final' form is Scourge Beast type, when they become completely animalistic:

I think it is valid to believe that Gascoigne could transform even further, there are enough reasons to think so! He is still too humanoid, all things considered! I will just move onto my personal interpretation now!

The thing about Cleric Beast-leaning Gascoigne is a really great topic of discussion! He already was a 'Father' (as in, religious figure) in his homeland, so, a cleric! As for Yharnam life, not only he was with the Healing Church once and quit it, but also his transformation happens extremely abruptly, that we only saw with Amelia!

The thing about Cleric Beasts is that they're so horrible because they've been holding back for so long. I can imagine Gascoigne being the same, as someone struggling to hold back so much for his family. We just happen to meet him when he finally breaks, but the guy must have had a huge will power to last as much as he did. +Also, please correct me if this was debunked, but as someone who always uses hunter summons to examine their patterns I've noticed that Gascoigne is the only one who never even once uses Blood Vials? If this is intentional, it could be a further evidence of his self-restraint: avoiding consuming the blood being aware of its addicting properties!

But here is why personally I do not headcanon that Gascoigne could transform even further! Unlike average people that are turning gradually, with strongly self-restraining people whatever form they take when they finally break IS their inner beast, it its truest form! This IS already his "cleric beast" form.... And it is not all that big and scary or impressive, because HE didn't have as much evil to hold back as average clerics in Healing Church. One person's very worst won't be the same as another person's very worst, but I also think it psychologically "helped" him to waste some aggression in the hunt - something Laurence and Amelia didn't have!

He murdered and part of the dark urges would escape through it, but he did not hunt in the same unhinged way as Ludwig either, so he is not transforming into someone as big and scary as him. He is just helping people! Not to mention Viola helping him to calm down with the music box when he was forgetting himself in the hunt. Just the right balance between what impulses to restrain and what to unleash!

My personal headcanon is that he cut the ties with the Healing Church over its corruption and wish to self-isolate and abandon the hunt (with the exception of its own walls), leaving the citizens to fend for themselves and defaming Oedon Chapel to bury the "proper" hunt as a concept. He was a honest man with a sense of justice and could not stand resorting to safety and not doing anything to help... But he still had religious principles of self-restrain and patience internalized; if not Healing Church ones, then those of the Church in whatever country he came from! It is also why whereas I believe that Cheric Beast of the Bridge was a Healing Church hunter too, since he drops Sword Hunter badge, he certainly avoided the hunt except for maybe defending Amelia, and mostly participated indirectly as the commander. (Honorable mention: Henriett that did the same, because her clothes imitate Old Hunters' set and she is a summon against Healing Church bosses, but she has Church weapons).

Thank you very much for an ask, it was interesting to think about and it helped me to shape my interpretation of the character better! He definitely has something in common with Cleric Beasts, but I just personally like to think that as a 'hold back and snap' kind of beast rather than 'gradually transforming' kind of beast, this IS his "worst"- Still very strong and fearsome, but far from how much evil the corrupt clerics held back! He is just a good boy!

By the way if you saw the shitty post Agato of GERTENA made and you've been around my blog for a while and wonder, yes I give up. Cause it's not the first stupid thing he's said the past 3 years and after 12 years his fan, I'm done. When I came across Tokami he was laid back, determined, there was a reason Tokami went so well after he joined them and became one of the biggest bands of Starwave Records. But lately he's been very dark, he calls himself a drinker proudly and he has a very passive aggressive attitude that I don't get sometimes and wonder if he's even sober when he says that shit. He's like an angsty teen with his fingers up against the world in my head rn.

Unlike other girls who went to his post bashing his appearance in return to his fatphobic post, I stated how being fat has nothing to do with laziness. I don't think he's ugly or talentless and I wouldn't attack that for his being brainwashed by his society to think being skinny is the only healthy option and anyone who doesn't abide by that law is a lazy loser. However, I won't stand for this bullshit or take his side. I've been called out before by someone here for taking sb else's side, who'd actually broken the law. But that law didn't harm anyone's life so I still don't care and follow that dude. Being hateful though and openly judge people for their appearance especially when you are a person of influence? Fuck that.

I am disappointed. Cause he really loves music. He's done so much to stay in the scene and after so long I'd hoped he's grown wiser. He's smart but somehow those brains ended up overphilosophizing shit to the point of arrogance. At the end of the day, it's been a long time since he himself has been skinny so I know that his attitude was big time projecting and rage baiting. But he got 22 likes or sth so his Japanese fangirlies don't mind that attitude cause they too agree being fat means you don't work and just stay at your mom's basement watching anime.

Anyway. I just wanted to make that clear in case you guys find photos of his in my blog (which I won't delete either cause I like keeping stuff from my past). I loved the dude, he played a big role in my life and inspiration to keep going with everything I did and for this I'm grateful. But even though I'm still miserable, I seem to have outgrown him. I too am sad bruh...but I won't go around judging people by their looks or the other thing he did that everyone seemed to approve back then cause a) the convo happened in Japanese so the foreign fans missed it and b) cause mental illness is another thing looked down upon in Japan (as if he or his fans are normal but anyway).

Good luck at the live abroad. Good luck in life. And I hope one day you'll wake up and realize you should be a little kinder after all the times you could come back to fight for your dream and having people wait for you. Not many jrockers can make it back. And you did 2-3 times. And I was one of those waiting. I waited the first time and each one after it. Whatever dude. You got a lot of healing to do.

Hey guys!!

For a while I've been doodling portraits of Bloodborne characters as self-reference - to avoid the sameface, to design unshown characters, to study existing data and whatnot...

I was doodling them as I had the need for them, but recently I realized I've had so many of them piled up that I could share them already! I added some notes and also clarifications (as it is possible to skip some characters depending on the playstyle... or on lacking a PS for that matter....).

It is still not everyone, of course; I am still missing characters like two boss Witches of Hemwick when they were younger, Clocktower patients, the door NPCs (despite having full headcanons for two of them), some cut content names and what not. I hope I'll get to others some other time as I don't like leaving characters out, but I just feel like that's enough for a post!

Again, it is the SELF-reference. Some colors were altered from the data according to how /I/ draw the character (for example the 'greyish red' eyes looking grey or purple on most NPCs that use them, Edgar being more orange-haired than in the data, etc).
