Sorry this is going up very suddenly! December really snuck up on us, huh?

Anyway! Not Me turns 2 years old on the 12th and that means there's no better time to do a community rewatch than now, right? It's also a great opportunity to watch it for the first time if you've been curious about the hype.

as much as i love fics where todd is in love with black and very much aware of this and thinks that his love is unrequited, i want to read a fic where black is the one who is so aware of how much he's in love with his former best friend, how his thoughts always find a way to travel back to todd, how he has made peace with the fact that the man he loves will never want him back

Remember in episode 11 of Not Me when Black showed up in front of Todd and put a gun to his head, which caused them to fight, and Todd attempted to drown Black, only for him to stop and have a whole ass moment . . .

THINKING ABOUT BLACK SHOWING UP TO HIS PLACE INJURED!

Then, in that memory, Todd questioned Black's "new friends" but he said it in such a way that clearly showed he was jealous

And his demeanor only changed once Black confirmed that he didn't really get along with these "new friends"

So he got up, called Black "an aggressive dog" while patting him like one

ONLY TO LAY DOWN ON THE BED AFTER ROLLING OUT HIS NECK

Remember how Black looked back at Todd laying on the bed?

Why were these decisions made?!

Why were we shown this as if it was an implication that they usually had sex?!

And that only they could hurt each other because they really knew each other, so Todd would rather fight with Black for the rest of his life than have anyone else?

WHY?!

I WANT ANSWERS!

GMMTV, I am begging you to give them back to me! They were enemies AND lovers. They were everything to me, and I need them back! I know I'm not getting them in 2024, but could you think about it for 2025? We're gonna have marriage equality, and I need to see these two fighting it out because Todd is heavily invested in rainbow capitalism so people will overlook the shitty things his companies do with their profits, and Black is blowing up his factories or some shit.

Day 7: Fave Villain

I love complicated villains. I love villains who can't just be killed because there are too many conflicting feelings involved. And as much as I love Chalothon from The Sign, I think Not Me did this one a little better, so it's Todd for me!

Sing did such a phenomenal job here, I hope I'll see him play a morally corrupted character again at some point.

Also, honorable mention for Mae from 3 Will Be Free. Was she a villain? Eh, maybe not if you look at it from her perspective. But she did function as one in the story for a while, so...

(Jennie also was fantastic in this but what else is new?)
