You met Hardcase at the park. Sort of. You arrived on time and ready for a lunch date, but were greeted by the sight of Hardcase chasing bubbles blown by children.

He laughed when he saw you and shouted, "You gotta try this!"

"Try what?" You laughed back and shook your head.

Hardcase trotted over and took both your hands in his and started spinning you around.

"What are we doing," you asked through giggles.

"Spinning!" He then picked you up and spun you in his arms a couple times before putting you down, both of you catching your breath.

"Hi," you said before kissing his cheek.

"Hi yourself." He kissed your forehead, still smiling. "Sorry, I used up all my focus repainting my armor earlier."

"That's okay," you replied, taking his hand and walking him to lunch. "Let's eat and then we can get back to being sillly."

"Sorry ma'am," he feigned formality, "but I have every intention of being silly through lunch too."

Today, im celebrating my 20th birthday. It's 6:08 am. From my window, I can see the sun creeping into the sky, blanketed through a comforting fog.

I don't know what I'm gonna do today outside of reading fanfiction, but the idea of making pumpkin bread has made itself known in my mind.

Whatever I do, I just hope I do it for myself today. I owe myself that much for dedicating myself to the people I love for the past two decades.

I wonder what Jacksepticeye is doing right now.

Y'know I used to ask myself that all the time. With differing people of course. Markiplier, JadienAnimations, CrankthatFrank, (wonder what he's doing now...), Danisnotonfire (god, that's dated now lol). That thought would get me through days when I didn't think I could do it. But then I'd ask myself, 'What is this person doing right now' and id make up something that'd motivate me to at least get today done to see what they had in store for me when I got home.

I haven't asked that question in years.

I think I'm gonna make pumpkin bread today.
