I don't know what let's player needs to hear this but you should put the name of that indie game you're playing in the title of the video
#static speaks#ok it annoys me when youtubers dont put the name of the game in the title for two reasons#1. i just want to know what im watching before i get into it#2. if you're a massive youtuber playing a small indie game for an audience of millions. the least you can do is give them some visibility#we're in an age where popular youtube videos can make or break an indie game - look at fnaf bendy etc.#and dont get me started on titles like 'THE NEW FNAF' bc it completely wipes away any individual identity the game was going for#and makes your audience think its fnaf ripoff cash grab number 10000#most egregious example i can think of is nearly a decade old but i remember once seeing razzbowski post a video called#'the new hello neighbor'. he was playing bendy and the ink machine. literally what#anyway. end rant.

things i feel strongly abt: being an attentive listener to the opening act. this is Not the time to be on your phone or talk to your friend !!!!! there is a person on stage baring their heart and soul out to us rn and they also know most ppl are not there for them and it is your job as a good audience member to give them this moment, to be there with them, to receive the music they are sharing with us, to move with the music, to feel it in your body. smile at them, esp if you're close to the stage. make them feel welcome and heard and seen. we are sharing a moment in time together!!!
#annoyed thinking abt some girls talking in the middle of the opening act last night and not looking at the stage#and also just. so many audience members just. sitting there woodenly. not moving at all. what. even during the main set like. HELLO???#move your body. yea this might not be moshing music but like. bop that head of yours. sway. move your arms idk man. are you FEELING anythin#concert edict. big feels abt it.#this is mostly abt when you're in a small-ish venue or close to the stage. like if you're in a massive arena it's already less personal#but a tiny-ass venue?? you BEST be giving the opener your undivided attention#vic.txt

The Watcher drama is fascinating.
I casually like their stuff. I've fallen behind on it, and feel no urgency to catch up, so I don't feel like I'll miss out by not subscribing; I can clearly live without.
And I don't think indie creators wanting their own platform is a bad thing, which ofc will need money to run. Depending on algorithms and pleasing sponsors is shitty. I truly do get that.
But their extremely corporate video really focused in on how much they need money, and boy, they really do not know their audience. It's so tone-deaf, it's honestly impressive. Saying production is too expensive when the channel has a series all about eating expensive foods is insane. No one wants more streaming services. The economy is so bad, plenty of people really cannot afford that price (international fans especially) contrary to what the video says. Their audience skews young, too, which means spending 6$ for only a couple episodes per month probably sounds unthinkable to a lot of them who can afford it, period, even if it is indie (I'm sure some think the pricing is all the more unreasonable because it IS indie.) I'm old enough that 6$ for a couple episodes I don't physically own is too much and only the indie label could change my mind--if this was framed entirely as a creative freedom decision and not about budget lol. There's just so many reasons this reads as a Bad Business Move.
But they had a countdown to this for Big News! They must have thought people would be excited! I'm just so curious to see what their response is and whether or not this risky move pans out for them.
#watcher#personal thoughts#they have such a massive audience maybe enough people will subscribe#but i doubt it#they surely will respond though and i want to see how thet choose to go about that#im not trying to shit on the Youths either#the rise of f2p games and big youtubers and such just kinda primed people for free content#or else a subscription which gives you a LOT for your money#meanwhile i remember spending 60$ for 5 episodes of an anime. but at least i would own those dvds. i hate subscriptions

#im kinda in two minds#cause there ARE so many insane details and subtext and all that#and i love reading your guys analyses#but at the same time#actually watching through the eps in s3/4?#they're often tedious#no i dont wanna hear another monologue from the most irritating character in the universe murray bauman#why'd you introduce russians in a massive underground bunker for gods sakes#i thought this was a small intimate story about normal ppl faced with the unknown of the supernatural#not the eye of the cold war storm#any dangerous scene? literally any time they put a character in danger?#idc im not invested praying they'll make it through#cause they always always make it through#even when it seems like they literally died#and what is with the quipiness in the later season?#like all those like marvel lines and interactions and witty one liners and moments where they finish each others sentences would make me#roll my eyes in any other show that i already wasnt invested in#even byler#i love byler with all my heart and i dont doubt they're endgame#but for me even that sweet knowledge is soured by the fact it seems they're trying to cater to every demographic in their massive audience#they turned hopper in this super macho muscle gun man who appeals to people who want a tom cruise show#they're trying to keep both jancy and stancy fans satisfied simultaneously#i dont doubt byler will happen but i just think its going to be very small importance-wise screen-time wise in the midst of everything else#i've sort of had cognitive dissonance cause ive been in this space where everybody praises the shit out of it (i mean duh its a fandom)#and they point out impressive details and links and say stuff like 'the duffers had everything planned from the beginning!'#so i was refusing to acknowledge that i wasnt enjoying actually watching the show as it strayed further from what it had been in s1#sorry guys gotta agree with friendly soace ninja on this one (kinda stupid to put on tags where most ppl do genuinely love the show and pls#ignore these depressing thoughts and continue happily on with your hyperfixation if you do)#stranger things#byler

Some important stuff in regards to the harassment of developers came from Bungie today. They won a lawsuit against a guy who repeatedly harassed a community manager and his family (not fully confirmed in the official document, but people are fairly certain this is about A_dmg and his family). This is a twitter thread from the lawyer who went into some details about the situation. The court document is also available to read (featuring some of the horrific harassment tactics that were motivated by racism and also used racism as part of the harassment so be advised if you want to read).
This isn't just a win for the individual community manager and Bungie, but also has potential to set a bigger precedent in the future. It's basically the first time this has been done to this extent and some ruling in this case made it clear that companies can pursue this sort of legal action in the future if their employees are harassed and threatened. This is HUGE because the protection of employees in the gaming industry has been abysmal otherwise. This case will allow for the company to file a lawsuit on behalf of their employees in cases of harassment.
Before I add some of the more heinous stuff about this situation below, I want to say that the majority of reactions to this are positive. People are happy that this happened as it did and a lot of people are excited about potential big influence this will have in the future to combatting harassment of this type in the gaming industry.
Extra details and thoughts below (racism tw):
This started because the community manager highlighted a black content creator, Uhmayyze, who is himself a victim of harassment more often than not (usually of racist nature). He is most often harassed because he is unapologetically positive for which people have continuously sent him awful shit and comments. Because he enjoys the game and isn't jumping on the hate train. Just recently he commended Bungie for a ban wave and had hundreds of people hound him on twitter for his comment, including Gladd who started it by specifically replying to Uhmayyze and putting him on blast (warning for a lot of gross comments, including photoshopped screenshots of fake discord texts to make Uhmayyze look bigoted, nsfw images, r slur, suicide baiting and so on). This is important because the incident of real life harassment was fuelled over a community manager highlighting a content creator that is himself being harassed and despised online for the crime of... being positive. And you know, for being black. This situation isn't an isolated incident. The community, including other content creators, are absolutely horrible towards this one person that they feel, I guess, does not follow the content creator NPC questline of hating Bungie and Destiny.
So of course, at some point, someone from that crowd will feel confident and justified taking things further. How dare Bungie promote this person they hate. How dare they focus on a positive creator. They're clearly biased and don't want to listen to criticism, only to "toxic positivity" streamer. How dare a community manager highlight this creator. It's a personal slight to them, and "proof" that Bungie is bad and evil and "ignoring criticism." There's someone out there (and probably not the only one) that hates this creator and the game so much they were willing to harass and threaten a community manager and his family in real life.
The community manager was first harassed by phone with text messages and voice mails featuring racist bile, including apparently a voice mail telling him to "convince Bungie to create options in its game in which only persons of color would be killed." This is the worst part for me and super concerning in general, as well as showing the dedication of this person to racism, motivated by his hatred of a black creator (which also, by proxy, technically makes the streamer being harassed as well). Absolutely ghoulish behaviour.
This escalated to also harassing the CM's wife and resulted in doxing them; the harasser somehow found their address. Most of the reports on this will say that the asshole "sent them pizza" which doesn't truly capture how horrific the incident was. First, it's a random guy who has your address which is concerning enough given that he harasses you by phone already. Apparently the pizza was made to be "inedible" and the delivery was instructed to bang loudly on the door upon arrival to maximise discomfort. The order was also deliberately made to be paid on delivery to create as much pain for the victims as possible. The harasser also kept track of the delivery and then called the family again when it was done to tell them to "enjoy the pizza." The family immediately contacted Bungie who contacted the police and provided the family with protection. There's no telling how this would've escalated had they not been in the position to call Bungie and had Bungie not reacted to them asking for help. It's absolutely crucial here that Bungie is the type of a company willing to immediately assist in this situation.
Immediately following that, Bungie organised a long and expensive manhunt to identify the harasser and bring them court. That's where most of the expenses went; finding the culprit and protecting the employee and his family. This is the money Bungie earned back by this court decision because they could prove that the expenses were caused by a person harassing and threatening their employee.
This is a big win overall for the whole industry. It's Bungie setting a precedent on how a company should protect its employees. No matter what people think about Bungie or big corporations or whatever, this is how you can use a lot of money and power to make sure that your workers have rights to decency and safety. That's huge for the rights of workers and worker protections. I hope it becomes a standard and that any future harassment is prevented altogether or at least punished accordingly.
Naturally, the commentary on the news from a big part of the community is super positive. Unfortunately, there's also a part of the community that has a lot of really awful shit to say about this. The comments on twitter are littered with people who are using THIS specific moment to yell about Bungie being a greedy corporation, how the money they won should be used to "fix the servers" and "make more pvp maps" or how Bungie will greedily put this money "into Eververse" or "into Marathon." There's comments about how time was uselessly spent protecting an employee who should expect harassment anyway, instead of working on "fixing the game."
This is what I mean when I talk about how impossible it is in the current situation to have a meaningful discussion about any sort of criticism or feedback. There's thousands of comments from people who think that this specific instance shows how Bungie is greedy. This is what I mean when I say that none of these people actually understand what they're talking about. You can't make proper criticism when you can't separate game development with a company's legal effort to stop an escalating harassment campaign of an employee. The majority of gamers are simply not fit to offer any criticism or feedback. The idea that we all have something useful to say and that employees at Bungie are obliged to give us their time of the day is simply incorrect.
I genuinely 100% stand by the claim that the recent barrage of content creators promoting the idea that Bungie is "the greediest company in the world that's scamming players and increasing costs out of greed" as well as the idea that Bungie is "abandoning Destiny for Marathon, isn't working on the game anymore and is deliberately ruining it" is the reason for these comments existing. If a big streamer said that Bungie is getting too much money but also not doing anything "good" with it, then any money that Bungie receives (including compensation for expenses they took to protect an employee from active harm) is a result of greed. The nuance of any situation is lost; when you only learn the mantra of "company has money therefore company bad" you WILL end up causing harm for people and you will most definitely not be an advocate of workers rights. That's where we're at right now.
The dehumanisation of people who work at Bungie (and the harassment itself) is a consequence of this crap and other similar crap that's been thrown into the ether for the past year, disguised as "we're just offering feedback." People heard that Bungie is a "microtransaction hell" and that Bungie is only investing in Eververse and Marathon and they feel like this story reflects that; they feel like an employee being harassed is not deserving of proper condemnation and that this isn't important enough and that Bungie is a greedy corpo anyway so who cares about that. They do not understand how companies work, how games are made, the state of the industry as a whole (or the world as a whole), the treatment of employees or workers' rights, and you cannot meaningfully critique a company's business practices without understanding that. And they don't because they think that legal expenses used to protect victims, finding a culprit and bringing their ass to court is money that is being used for game development and that Bungie receiving this money should result in... new pvp maps or "fixed servers."
And there's even seemingly good commentary where people recognise how this is good, but they initiate the comment with "As much as I hate Bungie and Destiny and I think they're awful and greedy and destroying gaming as a whole..." : that's not the time and place. You don't have to excuse your support of a big win for potential new employee protection policies just because those policies are done by a company. Of course it is. Companies are the only ones capable of pursuing this sort of legal action. It's one good way a big company can put their power and money into a good place to actually help people and bring forth positive change. And like, you don't have to tell us how much you despise Bungie before you're "allowed" to admit that this is good news. Sometimes companies do good stuff. It's literally not that complicated.
I hope that this situation will help other employees demand the same protection, that other companies will follow suit and that this will also make potential other harassers rethink whether or not they will engage in this or similar type of behaviour. In the meantime, know that the community is largely positive about this, but that there are still absolutely detestable human beings who should feel ashamed of their reaction to this. They shouldn't feel welcome here. And there's still people doing this to the devs and I hope Bungie takes their asses to court too.
#destiny 2#bungie#long post#this was a lot and i'm glad it had a happy ending#reading some of the comments unfortunately added to my depression tenfold#as usual the best thing to do if you feel strongly against a content creator or a video game is to leave#simply leaving would've stopped this whole thing#it's why that's my go to response to people who feel super strongly about how bungie is the worst#bro if bungie is the worst thing ever then your feedback will NOT change shit and you gotta go do something else#like if you still enjoy the game and have some criticism that's fine! i do too!#but if your entire online personality is criticism of bungie you gotta rethink your priorities#before you turn into this guy who will owe bungie 500k until the rest of his life#especially if you're a creator with a reach of tens of thousands of people or more. you gotta be careful with what you say#because your words WILL entice this behaviour. there is someone in your audience who will go too far#anyway. wanted this off my chest this whole situation has been super fucked up#and the brunt of it started around the time criticism started getting really bad last year#end of haunted-start of plunder + lightfall showcase which had massive harassment of trans employees online#we have not known peace since then and neither have bungie employees apparently#genuinely disheartening that people can act this way about a video game

the issue with the RoyKeeley storyline in season 3 for me. if they’re not meant to be that’s fine, they’re very different people at different phases of their life, but tell us that. Give us some sort of emotional pay off for watching them share half of their screen time together for two years. There’s no scene in season three that felt cathartic to me.
#cicelyalaska#burritoprophet#twitter users#I think about this story line all the time#went through a break up from my bf of almost two years in April#and so I’ve paid a ton of attention to break up plot lines in the tv shows and movies I’ve watched this year#and this is the one that really latches in my mind#even though I was never a massive shipper of them#it’s driven me crazy for so long#because like this shit is actually life altering#and to pretend that love and partnership entering your life and then exiting after a year of stability#doesn’t drastically change you#and to give your audience no pay off#happy or sad#is just bizarre#anyways one day I’ll be done complaining about my favorite characters from my favorite show that I have anger towards now#RoyKeeley#ted lasso#roy kent#keeley jones#Ted lasso critical#maybe idk I’m just tagging in case u want to mute my ramblings

I wish Erin Hunter would hire me not because I particularly care about Warrior Cats anymore but because I know a lot about cat behavior and it makes me really really irritated seeing people draw cat body language so incorrectly
#cats dont run in fear with their tails up#thats a play behavior exclusively#if a cat is afraid of something they tuck down as low to the ground as possible and bolt the fuck out of there like a lizard#this is just one of many many many many many gripes i have#i understand anthropomorphization and how much erin hunter anthropomorphizes their cats for the sake of readers' understanding#because their audience is teenagers#but i think xenofiction‚ especially something as massive as warriors‚ should be a vessel for teaching mammalian psychology#at least make it so your feral cat characters are actively wary of their environment when they arent in their dens#domestic cats are far from being the top of the foodchain. even with intelligence beyond what they naturally have irl--#--they should be extremely aware of and cautious about the fact there are any number of predators in their natural habitat#and that they are a genuine danger to be aware of when they're not hidden#especially since so many of the cats are described with white markings‚ which should have been bred out a long time ago#due to the fact they're hypervisible and attract predators‚ making them moving targets#blackstar baffles me. he is completely white. he is the biggest target for predators in the entire clan. and yet he leads it#i have many thoughts erin hunter hire me

I think it's important to remember as a writer to understand your audience, but not in the corporate marketing way. Much more in the sense of when to jokingly reference anything in the fandom(almost never, you can easily end up siding in fanon wars whether you meant to or not, and that lack of boundaries can grow toxicity rapidly), and when to shut down anything in your work that's gaining traction with any group who means harm to others(as fast as you can identify it happening).
#While it is true that fanbases are not directly controlled by the creators of a work#I do think there is a point where people build the audience they deserve#Even playful jokes about certain parts of your audience can come across mean-spirited#And it can cause self-selection away from people enjoying themselves and towards bullies#And if you see serious prejudice taking root around your work you should speak on it imo#Also if you willfully try to harness fandom to be your personal validation machine THAT will backfire MASSIVELY

can white people stop saying its sexism and racism that lost kamala the election and admit that its sexist and racist to ignore her policies like being black and south asian and a woman absolves her of the fact that she is actively currently facilitating mass murder in multiple countries
#forgive me for not couching this in extreme detail nuance etc like no one sees my posts anyway and#im pretty much exclusively seeing this from white people who were doing the guilting people into voting for kamala thing#yes im sure that sexism/racism impacted many people's votes but it's being said in the same context to the same audience where the focus was#previously on accepting slash overlooking harris' and the dem party's policies and actions#moving from this to ignoring policy and action and focusing on how shes percieved via racialization and gendering is...#certainly something. can you at least admit the democratic party massively fumbled the nomination AND the campaign#not even appealing to the largest contingent of her potential voterbase to instead focus on the shrinking middle class#which a) by nature of structural racism is mostly white people and b) made up of a considerable number of trump voters#saying youre not trump and that youre gonna be 4 more years of biden AND youre gonna cater to right wingers is NOT going to work#especially on people who arent the most politically involved and found the last 4 years miserable!!!!!

my official take on the moon/qibli/winter love triangle is that winterwatcher is a much grander, epic romance, and moonbli is a much more level, sweet-and-simple romance, but ultimately i think it was a better decision to have the latter be the canon romance in a series primarily marketed towards children and teens than fall into the "bad boy" romance trope, and instead romanticize the earnest, genuine, sweet relationship
obviously there's way more nuance to this involving internalized/unconscious bias, and winter doesn't even REALLY fit into the "bad boy" archetype, but purely based on genre conventions, the gruff, rude, brooding, tortured hero VERY often falls into that category, and at the ages of 7-14 most of us were very LIKELY to be romanticizing that archetype, which again is very often treated as interchangeable with the "abusive bad boy" trope, and while i might have a few gripes with the writing of moonbli and i ENJOY winterwatcher a whole lot, i DO appreciate the more gentle, "safe" romance being treated as the ideal, rather than the tense and angst-filled nature of the alternative
#i could talk about this way more but im in the middle of rereading dod so itll have to wait#what i DO have to add is like. something something the ideal romance being the calmer safer one and how - for me at least -#those years of my life were so complicated and difficult and i made this image of romance out to be this massive painful epic tale#of heartbreak and passion and huge declarations of love and everything#but ultimately; imparting the lesson to children that a romantic relationship should be SAFE - it should be your comfortable place#where youre happy and content and feel warm and secure - is MUCH better#than pressing upon them the idea that it should be this epic battle of tension and painful pining and everything#(whether its something simply overlooked in the writing or not; the fact is winter also DIDNT ever apologize to moon for#all the hurtful things he said or did - which isnt to say hes a BAD GUY i love winter so much -#but i think romanticizing those kinds of dynamics - which is tricky but CAN be done - is better saved for works marketed towards#more mature and emotionally intelligent audiences than i think wof might be meant for)#ANYWAY I HAVE LOTS OF THOUGHTS#god im so glad i got back into this series. the literary love of my life#mine#wof#winter#moon#qibli#wings of fire#winterwatcher#moonbli#meta

If I keep my motivation up with the animatic project, I plan to make ganondorf just. soooo uncomfortably correct about things. you know, in that event horizon of being both indefensible enough in his actions that you feel like he's just saying things to make himself look less bad, but also you can't really retort a proper counterargument without revealing huge biases in your own perception of reality
just riding that wind waker swagger to more extreme extremes
#thoughts#ganondorf#animatic project#thralls of power#my goal is to make a ganondorf that will radicalize the audience against their will <3#even though he keeps on bumping his ample forehead against massive shortcomings he never really manages to address#one of them being uhhh being a little casual about atrocities maybe king??? maybe less war crimes king???#maybe less assuming that people will follow you down to the very end of your doomed crusade against reality no matter how you act?#maybe less assuming you are the main protagonist of the universe king???#maybe more addressing the many problems and fear inside of your brain instead of destroying everything you touch about it????#I have so many scenes in my head about him being very right and others about him being very wrong#if I have the courage there are many internal discussions among gerudos about how various parties feel about what's going on#nabooru is doing anti-dorf propaganda obviously and she's not. wrong. about a lot of things (but she is about others)#my other problem about this project is that it's probably the most tragic thing I have ever conceived#especially for him#I managed to extract the gerudos from his fucking mess (partially and they don't get off the hook unscathed)#but he is just#it's just a very long and very stubborn jump into the void#and knowing where twilight princess ultimately leads it's so#it's just gutting!!! it just is!!!! even when it's partially his own fault!!!!#so yeah I don't know if I'll ever fully commit for this reason alone

Rewatching Bleach because why not and it's very odd watching as an adult. Like. The amount of "hey I'm 15 but look at my bazongas" shit going on is.... uh.. concerning, to say the least. Last time I watched anything from this franchise, I was younger than the characters, so it didn't feel creepy and was probably funny. But now I'm just like... someone should check Tite Kubo's laptop.
#bleach#tite kubo#also chad being 15 is straight up hilarious#like hey. here's this massive jacked guy. but yeah he's also literally a child.#which i guess happens?#it's crazy though how your perspective on things change as you age#like. ichigos dad being in his 40s seemed old as shit when i was 10. now I'm just like yeah that's a dilf.#as a kid i thought toshiro was hot shit and now I'm like. that's a whole child.#rangiku can get it. kenpachi can get it.#but like. most of the characters are younger than i am now and i 1) feel old and 2) am remembering it's target audience is adolescents#still tho. target audience being kids or not someone check this man's hard drive. he's abnormally obsessed with the breasticles of minors.

uuuug every so often i see writing tips passed around and i want to make a post but i can't find the right words to convey "aaaauuggh don't do what The r/se of sk/walk3r did"
(long tags warning bc i haven't learned how not to type like i'm not popping off yet)
#so basically after the movie was released worldwide to the public- official social media dropped a bunch of side facts about the story.#but not in the way that something like fromsoft games tend to do. u know how there's massive lore in some games?? but not overtly explained#but there's enough there (and the medium type might help) that fans pick up what the game already contains to connect lore.#anyway. the movie in op apparently had…a bunch of details that were relevant to the actual story in the movie but just. were not included#the knig/ts of ren?? their whole deal is Not Included In The Movie that they finally appear in#the planet that connects one of the major characters to the grandpa he has a whole complex revolved around? doesn't mention he visits#the inner thoughts of the protagonists' (supposedly). or the vital sidequest one main guy is on but is only vaguely mentioned?#not in the movie. these and most likely other tidbits important to the characters or narrative in some way were at most given a nod to#but otherwise nothing substantial to these themes and motivations or actual character backgrounds were properly executed/expanded on#so the official socials instead just like. idk shared a bunch of these deets online or in completely separate media of the franchise#but it should!!be in the movie!! it could have enriched the narrative and it could have been better executed!! do u get what i'm saying??#maybe i am like Burned from what that movie did in regards to this (and the franchise as a whole lol) but like. ig what im saying is#you can include the little side bits that might be important to your characters or narrative or themes in some way even in passing#and it doesn't need to be removed from the narrative entirely. if you like your audience to share something that fancies you then-#-you can make room! somewhere somehow. if u want! if it's balanced#so on so forth “kill your darlings” disclaimer but just Please not at the expense of throwing the baby out with the bathwater

I gotta be less terminally online bc every time I think about jjk’s ending I get annoyed
#jjk spoilers#I know I might not be the right audience for this#but like#none of that ending felt earned#to paraphrase Lindsey Ellis:#“Of course his actions make sense! he’s explaining them! with his words!#jjk kinda felt like a series of the characters non stop yapping and their actions saying something completely different#and I don’t think it was intentionally bc of how nauseatingly happy that finale was#like there should be MASSIVE societal upheavals based on the character’s dumb decisions#but nope! everything’s fine!#also Gojo who’s Gojo?#the guy who laid the groundwork for the happy ending?#actually everything was his fault and he died with no friends and none of his students mourn him#and we mutilated his corpse in a cheap attempt to get people to start reading again#but that ending’s totally fine! because he SAID that he’s okay with it!#in an out of place flashback that felt like it was written on a napkin in between edits#probably the same napkin that wasted *an entire chapter* undoing all the sacrifices from the Sukuna fight#and arguing against every reasonable complaint about the Sukuna fight and how bad the plan was#and introducing an *entire new villain* three fucking chapters before the ending#just to make Mei Mei look cool because everyone hates her and we need to like her now I guess#even though she was written as a *fucking groomer* and everyone was justifyably disgusted that it was treated as a *running joke*#uuuuuuuuuuuuugh I’m so mad#this was the most ‘well actually’ ass ending to a series I’ve seen in a while#if you feel the need to completely break the immersion of your series by talking directly through your characters#about how every writing decision you made was actually super smart and deep and totally worth it#then you wrote a bad ending
