Or maybe that’s translated to dark hair.

Is there a way to translate the King is the Titan’s son to this AU?

Like, King is secret the son of a very important person that died under mysterious and he was hidden to protect him. Like, the Titan was a rich person who was murdered by his business partners (the Archivists) for his wealth but keep his son and heir a secret to protect him.

I'm not sure if there's a way for me to translate that King is the Titan’s son to this AU that doesn't involve me basically repeating the backstory I already gave to Philip and Caleb.

So I don't think I'm really going to go into it. Papa Titan was just King's biological dad who is no longer alive.

The Archivists are the Collector's family members. They live in a big house up the hill and the Collector (in this Au named Collen, but his older siblings and cousins call him "Collie") is the youngest in their family.

Because of all the kids in their family they hardly pay attention Collie or notice when he sneaks out to play with (terrorize) the people of Luz and Eda's street. Especially King because he's the only kid nearby that is Collie's age. Also, they're always in their pajamas.

The adults have no idea who this child's parents are or if they should call CPS

It had been months since you'd seen Hunter, so of course you and Phee were there when the Marauder touched down in the Archium. Wrecker waved to you both as the ramp lowered, beckoning to someone inside the ship.

Hunter said they were bringing someone with them, but you didn't expect the cadets-- the children --to look so bewildered when they stepped off the ship.

"They're so young," Shep said softly, and you wondered how round and baby-faced they must have been when they left Kamino, the only home they'd ever known.

The three cadets lingered on the steps of the ramp, looking around in earnest while Wrecker waited patiently.

"It smells like Kamino," the tallest said as you approached.

"Mox, did you see the ocean? D'you think they'll let us go swimming?"

"You can do whatever you want here!" Wrecker laughed encouragingly. He gave you his classic thump on the shoulders, and you smiled. It was the happiest you'd seen him since they lost Tech and Omega.

"Hi," You introduced yourself to the cadets, "What're your names?"

"I'm Deke. This is Mox, and that's Stak." The shortest of them stepped forward, while his brothers watched you warily.

"And I'm Phee Genoa, liberator of ancient wonders," Phee smiled warmly at them all.

"Welcome to Pabu," Shep said, "I'm the mayor here. We have a warm bed and fresh food for all of you."

"Thanks," Mox, the tallest, said softly. His arms were crossed over his chest, and Stak's hands fidgeted at his side.

"Wrecker, why don't you and Phee show them the island? I reckon they're as hungry as you."

Wrecker chuckled softly and nodded towards the ship, catching your drift. He beckoned for the kids to follow him. They seemed to trust a clone more than other humans, but that was understandable.

"Have you boys ever heard of Skara Nol?" you heard Phee asking them.

"What's that?" Deke asked.

"It's a big mountain, filled with lots of puzzles!" Wrecker said, waving his arms to demonstrate.

At that point, you'd stepped aboard. The warmth of the sun dissipated as you were enveloped in the Marauder's dim lighting. Hunter sat at the navicomputer to your right, half asleep and blanketed by a hazy blue glow.

"Those boys aren't the only ones who could use a home-cooked meal, you know." You said, putting more weight into your steps so he wouldn't be surprised by your approach.

"I assume you've brought some, then?" He said.

You rolled your eyes and took the canteen of gumbo from your bag.

"Only when you step away from the computer. It won't do you any good to spill it all over Tech's equipment now."

Hunter sighed, and set another diagnostic to run through the files.

"We've got another lead," He said, turning away from the computer. Your heart fluttered at the note of hope in his voice.

"The Intel from the Durands was too old, the kids were all that's left of that lab, but we scraped some data from one of the data banks. We think it could tell us where Hemlock took Omega."

You handed him the spoon, and Hunter tried to eat politely, but it soon gave way to his hunger as he shoveled spoonfuls into his mouth without waiting to chew.

"Careful, you'll make yourself sick," You warned him, "You've been eating too many rations. I'll have to send you off with some real food this time."

Hunter looked up at you, and you used your thumb to wipe some sauce from his chin, but you couldn't quite meet his eyes.

"You could always come with us. How's your leg doing?"

The only reason you hadn't gone with Hunter and Wrecker when they set out to find Omega was because your femur was broken in the same railcar crash that took Tech. Phee had promised to look out for you and keep you from getting too bored while they scoured the galaxy. Despite your protests, you knew that in your injured state, you couldn't be much help at all.

So you made yourself useful in Pabu. You sewed clothes to replace those lost in the tsunami, you looked after children while their parents rebuilt, you made your family's old gumbo recipe for those who were too tired to cook at the end of the day.

Those like Hunter.

"What about the kids? Deke, Mox and...Stak?"

Hunter nodded, "Shep said there were some families on Pabu who could take care of them for now, he even offered to take two of them into his own house."

"Oh," You said softly, "That's kind of him."

Setting the empty canteen to the side, Hunter squeezed one of your hands as it hung at your side.

"Everything alright, cyare?"

"Oh!" After so long without him, you forgot how well he knew you.

"I just...I was hoping we could take them in, take care of them."

Hunter's eyes softened, and finally stood. "I'll admit I thought about it myself, but..."

"Not while Omega's still captured," You finished for him, dropping his hand and folding your arms.

Hunter's thumb brushed against your cheek, begging for you to look at him.

"You remember that night on Ord Mantell, right?" He asked.

You pouted, bottom lip jutting out, "We spent a lot of nights on Ord Mantell." Too many, to be precise.

"You know the one I'm talking about," He cupped your face in both hands, and you looked up at the dark circles beneath his eyes.

And you did know the night he mentioned. It was a full moon, so you could actually see the moon high above all the neons and smoke from the city. Hunter had made you a promise then and there, and you made one to him too. Nothing like marriage, but something like it.

Biting your lip, you reached up to run your thumb over his crows' feet. His eyes closed, blissfully relaxed beneath your touch. You knew how much he needed to find her. He could never forgive himself if anything happened to you, to Wrecker, or any of the cadets they'd just saved.

"I meant what I said that night," He whispered, eyes glistening as his forehead rested against yours, "We'll have our own family some day, something Kamino and the Empire won't ever be able to take from us. We just have to wait a bit longer."

You sniffled just a bit, and buried your face in his chest. You wrapped your arms around his torso, and when he wrapped his arms around you he leaned more of his body weight on you than he usually did. He felt frail, delicate even, like too much pressure in one place would snap him in half.

Hunter needed you, and you needed him.

"I'm coming with you," You whispered. He sighed with relief.

"Let's bring her home."

The Owl House Post-Finale/Post Watching and Dreaming Roleplay Request

Anyone up for an Owl House roleplay with me? I was hoping for a roleplay that takes place during the timeskip of the show, sometime after the finale.

I also want Palisman to play a big role in the roleplay as well. I love the concept of palismen so much that I was hoping if we RP that we can have it play a bigger role than it did in the canon series.

I also wanna do a thing with King going to Hexside and making friends, falling in love, and even making some enemies in the process. Maybe have him form his own Hexsquad.

Lily likes Skara, or at least the idea of her, because she’s a black girl who’s status as a minor character means she doesn’t have anything like Luz’s “yucky depression arc” to ruin Lily’s vibes, making her the perfect character to project her fetishism of black girls onto.

I say this as someone who actually LOVES Skara, and even ships her with Willow, btw. She’s my favorite minor character, but I accept that that’s what she is; a minor character. And I’m aware the show didn’t have TIME to thrust another character into the spotlight. But I think she deserves better than whatever Lily can/will give her, because she sees her less as a character with potential (like I do) and more as a vessel for her fetishes and hatred of Hunter. Though that last part is ironic, since Labyrinth Runners implies at one point that Skara (and Viney) actually SAVE Hunter.

Something about this whole thing that is extremely funny to me is Lily's hypocrisy. One of Lily's three objectively wrong narratives about Hunter as a character is that people project head canons onto him so they can pretend he has more depth than he actually does. This is a take that is objectively wrong once you think about it for less than five seconds because Hunter has CLEAR DEPTH that the show EXPLICITLY spelling out to the audience.

You don't even need to analyze him that deeply of a character to get that depth. But Lily thinks that Hunter is only popular because people like the idea of him...

...and then we get to Skara, a character with little screen-time or actual depth who Lily heavily hyper-fixates on because she likes the idea of Skara rather than what the actual character is.

Lily being a hypocrite will never not be funny.

Legally, Cerulean’s middle name is Noceda and her last name is Blight. This is due to an error on her birth certificate that does not have her name hyphenated, and instead has Noceda listed as a second name. Luz and Amity tried to fix it, but realized they liked it better and just went with that.

Lumity has two more kids not mentioned. Their names are Desire and Everett. Desire is 4 and Everett is like. 3 months old.

Pre-Game Snackies

Oh wow, classic Roo is drawing their favorite trope of characters giving each other food again-

This is loosely based off my fic "Bellyachin'" Where before the Entrails have a Flyer Derby match, Viney offers cheese and crackers to the team for some extra fuel. (However, in the fic, Hunter is very apprehensive about the idea instead of excited like he is in this drawing.)

Yes I based Gus' face off that shot of him about to eat the CD. I just made him more derpy.

I kinda didn't know what to do with Skara so I tried to draw her looking amused at Gus being silly but I don't think it came out well oof. Like, Skara herself came out fine, but the emotion I was going for I think ended up getting lost.

I also kinda didn't know how to pose Viney either, but I like how she came out.

Also decided to add all their palismen because why the hell not?

Side note WTF I never realized how fucking cute Viney's palisman is?? I named him Basil. He's Basil the manticore now.

I also decided to name Skara's cricket palisman Melodei (Pronouced Melody). Get it?? Because Skara's a bard... and crickets... chirp melodies... haha (please laugh)

Also, you wouldn't believe how hard it was to find references for Melodei off her staff. I think the only time she's ever off the staff is when she's captured on the ship in the cage... which, yeah, that made it harder than I'd like to admit to reference from. Not only was she covered partially because of the cage's bars, but it was in a nighttime palette. I had to piece it together from what I could see from her in the cage and her staff form.

I don’t care if you ship Lunter. I like Huntlow. That’s my opinion. No, im not gonna change it coz you think so. Have your opinion, just don’t go barking at me.

In my OPINION: (see the word opinion)-(you can have ur own)

HUNTLOW/WINTER: bestest ship. Works well. They complete eachother and only have a 1 and 1/2 (approx) age difference, which is pretty normal for teens. My personal favourite. Very cute, fluffy and makes u have the fuzzies. They have a good chance of long lasting relationship.

LUNTER: Lunter would work. Lunter is undeniably a great relationship. Only 2 year age gap (approx), also normal teen age. They go well together. But I headcannon them as siblings. HEADCANNON. So for me, Lunter is sweet home Alabama.

*EDIT: I no longer headcannon Lunter as siblings but I do think they they see each other as siblings.

GUNTER: Look, ship what you want but the age difference is too much for me, 4 years, isn’t a lot, but while in teenage years, it’s a bit weird. Maybe when they’re older, like in their 20’s, but as teens? Not so great. They’re closer to brothers. They would support each other. Good relationship.

HUNTRIC/GOLDRIC: Objectively, there is nothing wrong with it. They’d probably get along super well. Same age. But they haven’t even met. And along with my ‘Luz and Hunter Siblings’ headcannon, it would be a brother-in-law, so also quite incest.

AMITER: They would fight a bit, both having competitive attitudes and lots and lots of trauma. All the characters have trauma but I think Amity and Hunter as a couple would overthrow the trauma scale. Also I’m a Lumity person, so Amiter just doesn’t work for me.

HUNTLOWDRIC: um. Imma have to go with a no. Nothing wrong with it except the fact: Hunter and Edric have never met, Willow has trauma with Amity despite making it up, dating her brother is a little weird, and again it would all revolve back to the siblings thing.

SKARA AND/OR VINEY X HUNTER: Both of them would be compatible with him, but I headcannon Viney as Lesbian. Skara, she’d be fine. If Willow didn’t exist she’d probably be what I’d ship Hunter with.

TBB S3 E11 Reaction

I’ve watched this episode multiple times already but honestly it doesn’t get any easier. Here we go I guess 😩

- This droid guy looks like the one from episode 4. They’re kinda cute

- The return of Mel! (And Phee 😁)

- Both of them are in a mood 😆. What trip did they just get back from to make them so cranky? Love the throwback to Skara Nall too.

- Noooo not CX-2 😭

- He’s a sneaky boi

- I knew that Phee would inadvertently be how the coordinates to Pabu would be found 🥺🥺

- I’m just now noticing that the back office is playing music and that’s probably why Phee can’t hear the alarm go off. That is hilarious and also very frustrating 😅

- Of course the droid thinks it caused the alarm somehow

- There’s no way downloading someone’s flight log goes that quickly but okay

- No NO no NOOO Nooooo. This moment was ruined by the Star Wars marketing team so it honestly didn’t hit as hard as it would have otherwise, but 😭😭😭. RIP Marauder. You will live on in our imagination

- I still can’t believe that they somehow heard our outcry about what would happen to Gonky, Lula, and Tech’s goggles if they blew up the Marauder, and decided to save EXACTLY those three things 🤣 (and Wrecker. So glad Wrecker is “relatively” okay, poor boy)

- Okay. I’m just going to say it. The way they chose to have Crosshair miss the tracking device was so disappointing to me. Not the fact that he missed, but how he missed. Having him be distracted and fend for his life and be late for the shot was great. But I wish they had brought his hand tremble into play here as the main mechanism behind why he missed. They’ve been building that up all season and it would have made perfect sense. Instead he rushes and like trips and just shoots too early? So out of character. I didn’t like it and still don’t :(

Is it sad to feel a bit frustrated with the fact that pre-ASIAS, MoringMark hinted heavily at being a Skarlow shipper, especially with the HootTube comic ending with Skara reacting dreamily to Willow’s workout, which made me hope we’d eventually get him to make the ship something the fandom would support, and then now he’s writing a Skarney comic long form fic?

Like I know he doesn’t owe anything and if he likes Skarney and Huntlow he’s got his rights but I miss the days when I thought Skarlow had a chance at being as big as Boschalow and being a beloved fandom ship.

I like Simatra, but I also think Simon would like Kiki Pizza or Skara, just because they would remind him of Grace.

I've been thinking about Ghost/Samantha for a while, but now I doubt the possibility of their relationship. But I think Samantha would have made friends with Odalia and had a positive influence on her.

Maybe Odalia/Stella (Helluva Boss) can be a good ship. Two power-hungry woman who wants their family to be the best of the best.

I think Willow/Perfuma or Steven/Perfuma would be good. I mean, it's the same idea as with Steven/Willow, a love of two magic creatures with plants power. I also think it would be funny to ship any of them with Nancy, that Rose Person from Straight-Up Italy Car.

I came up with Nate/Frosta when I was thinking about Simatra and wondered what other ships there might be with the characters of Infinity Train and She-Ra. Frosta didn't have any friends and she had to take over the throne of her kingdom too early, and Nate is an ordinary child, so they would have a good dynamic.

I think Vee/Hazel can work because they're two reptilian girls who look like humans most of the time because it's safer that way.

Hunter/Hazel also can work because they were both created as a replacement for someone who was dear to their creators.

Hunter/Lake can work because both afraid of being perceived only as a reflection of someone else.

And I can’t forget the only canon one – Stanley Pines/Eda. They were even married, even if it was only for six hours.

But I do see an overwhelming amount of hunt//lows being being rude and overbearing and homophobic about huntric/goldric because "boohoo, what about Willow!?" Willow is her own woman, she can exist on her own with her own personality. Consider instead: aroace nonpartnering Willow. Or pan Willow dating Viney or Skara, who she is and has always been on equal ground with (instead of hunt/low's power imbalance 🙃). Also consider: Hunter is bi and can be equally as interested in men! Did you actually know that's what bi meant, or were you all just cheering and drawing him with bi flags for clout? Because you're right, anon. It's always hunt/lows that yell and cry about him being bisexual while refusing to let anyone ship him with a man with the excuse of "poor Willow".

As a very biased Vinera shipper, what are your thoughts about the current ship between Viney and Skara, given legs thanks to MoringMark?

I’m neutral towards it, mostly cause I understand a bit y it is a thing.

First off that when drawing TOH couples, Dana had drawn Skara with that bat eared boy, however because we haven’t seen him with Skara after the Grom Ep it’s safe to assume that most fans forget he exists. Not to mention how Skara seems to have layers but due to Disney cancelling the show, any development we would’ve gotten for her was dropped (imagine an Ep where she finally stands up to Boscha and stops being a mean girl).

Now as for her and Viney, I excuse the rise of the ship due to the fandom law of proximity. Since both of them are on the same Flyer Derby team and aren’t members of the Hexsquad, that means they would b hanging out while Willow, Gus and Caleb (Hunter) are dealing with misadventures with Luz. As such it’s likely they could have a romance bloom between them.

I just personally like Viney with Emira due to its dynamic. Skara idk yet, no ship for her has really grabbed me so far

One of Boschas posse members, the healing girl, Cat having a character arc. I wanna give her a tragic backstory since he’s a background character and I can be able to have freedom

I also wanna try to make this as literate as possible 

Also I want to have Luz finish her high school stuff  at Hexside and not go back to her old school 

I had this idea for a plot. I wanted to have Del perhaps organize a big project to lower the age limit on Palisman at Hexside to maybe a minimum grade of 4th with some exceptions depending and perhaps have another Palisman receiving day. King and rest of his classmates and other students without palismen yet can get theirs 

Like Del can host one with the collaboration of Eda, Gwen, the Bat Queen and Principal Bump. And maybe have Hunter and possibly anyone else once we get to that will be volunteers or something

And the adoption is is open to grades 4-12.

The 4 and 5th graders and all the middle schoolers can get theirs. And to be high schoolers who didn’t get theirs yet can finally get one

Maybe that’s when Hunter finally gets Waffles or something. Though does Waffle already exist or will you introduce her later in the RP?

Also does Matt have a palismen already or will his palisman be introduced in the rp? Also have you heard of Matt’s headcanoned palisman Garth?

(I wanna do a plot or some sort of Darius plot with him, Eberwolf, Steve, and Raine and potentially others working on a murder mystery in the RP as well and perhaps have some sort of trial

I want Cat (the healing girl with the glasses who’s in Boscha’s friend group) to have younger twin siblings who’s around Kings age. Their mother is framed and accused for a crime that she didn’t commit and the three are framed and accused as accomplices

This is related to something called the Dynasty Wars

The wealthy families of the boiling isles compete against each other of who makes the most contributions to the Day of Unity and who gets the biggest rewards from Belos. This causes them to get drastic measures to get on top

It’s a tactic that Belos created and used in order to make his job easier and have less witches to eliminate because witches will be eliminating each other through their feuds

I also wanna have boss fights at Hexside. Like similar to Labyrinth runners but with Luz and other characters included

I want to have all of Hexaide and their parents to fight off against each covenhead and their army of covenscouts to fight them off to keep them from getting branded 

One day they’ll take on Adrian, another day Terra, then Mason, Hettie, Vitimir, Osran…and keep taking them on until all the covenheads are defeated and then there’s this final one with Kikimora and all the covenheads along with the biggest covenscout army yet

Continuing my Stargate rewatch with Episode 8 of Season 1 of Stargate - The Nox.

The episode opens with the Secretary of State for Defense being shown the stargate as part of a tour of the SGC, and he criticises the SGC for not finding any new technology that could defend Earth from the Goa’uld. Teal’c tells him that the Goa’uld also search for new technology, including a creature that can become invisible, and SG1 are sent off to track it down on the planet Gaia.

Apophis is also there to hunt this ‘invisible creature’, and Daniel urges Jack to capture Apophis to find out more information on Sha’re and Skara (😭). The ambush doesn’t go to plan and Daniel, Jack, and Sam are killed, and Teal’c is just about to be killed by Apophis, when he vanishes…

They wake up in the village of the Nox, who appear to be a simple people in tune with nature, albeit with healing powers that can bring people back from the dead. The Nox have also revived Shak’l, one of Apophis’ guards. SG1 try to convince the Nox that they are now in danger from Apophis, and ultimately the Nox prove they can keep themselves safe. They send Apophis home, tell SG1 that they plan to bury the Stargate, and when Jack tells them that the Goa’uld will come in ships, the Nox reveal they are actually highly technologically advanced and SG1 realise they have been mistaken all along.

Further Thoughts

This is interesting to rewatch knowing that the Nox are telling the truth about being safe from Apophis, and SGC are just assuming that the Nox don’t understand, as they look ‘primitive’. The reveal that the Nox have advanced but are refusing to have further contact with earth is harsh, especially as we know now that the Nox are one of the ‘four great races’. An exercise in humility for SG1.

Other interesting things: the reveal that the Goa’uld also look for more advanced technology, and the way that Jack makes a bow and arrow after their weapons are confiscated.

In the first ambush, Apophis has a personal shield that Teal’c hasn’t seen before, and Jack figure out that the shield only deflects faster projectiles so an arrow should pass through. Sam then explains this in technical terms, and Jack says something like ‘Yeah, that’ 😀
