I guess... A Dawn Stone...? 'Cause, well... Hm...

When I first me the Captain I'd just lost a major tournament that meant a lot to me. I was just really down, so down in fact I got lost in the woods while training to try and make up for it and.. passed out. That's how Cap and Friede found me, and brought me to the ship to recover.

I was grateful and hung around but... Still had no motivation. I lost a lot of battle to the Captain, to Orla and Molly, I couldn't even beat Murdock... I was feeling awful..

Then one morning The Captain woke me up, just before the crack of dawn. I was so tired as I followed him to the top floor of the ship still in my pajamas, hair a mess, wondering what he could possibly need this early.

And up there I saw... The most beautiful sunrise I'd ever seen... Aboard the Brave Olivine it was like we were higher than the sun its self, and it was reaching to try and catch up to us.

That sight.. All of a sudden all I wanted to do was capture it. I wanted to paint it.

I hadn't painted in years, not sense my dad left me his Stoutland, Rusty, and told me to do what he couldn't and become a Champion. I'd given it all up to do what he'd wanted, but that dawn... it reminded me of what I really wanted to do.

So, uhm.. Yeah.. I guess I'd give him a Dawn Stone, to represent that morning...

never forgetting how sarastus was already "a hero during a time there was no need for one". &. how actions like this of sarastus, in my mind, strengthened her mentor's, venat's, mind later about the importance of the role sarastus would play, that she would be the one suitable to be the champion, the protector of the star. this being proven in the way sarastus, along with the help of hythlodaeus, took the concept of the fire spirit ifrita, to the transform a volcano's aether ( that was about to explode &. destroy a whole island ) &. destroy it elsewhere. she was always viewed as the reckless member of the convocation, doing things like this without consulting the convocation first. but the reason she did so was because fast actions needed to be taken, &. she knew the convocation would have most likely not agreed to take action, given the view of life &. death back then. so instead of giving the actual reason of simply wanting to save the livelihoods of those who called the island home, she told elidibus her reason for doing this was because if she hadn't, the particularly delicious grapes on the island would be lost otherwise.

she has always been a person of action ; often doing this very same thing when she held the seat of azem, solving problems she encountered without seeking counsel, or approval of the other convocation members. &. a fact that made her a bit of a headache to her colleagues.
