ᴹᴱᵀᴬ . PRONOUNCING SARASTUS' NAME :

i realize i have never written it out, so here it comes! sarastus name came to me with the whole association of the wol being ' the light in the darkness ', plus all the symbolisms of azem &. the sun, that i have strongly emphasized in my own portrayal. the word itself means "sunrise / dawn, the first sign of light in the darkness" which i thought goes well, since the warrior is very much the balance between both. ( for example, carrying the title of the warrior of darkness in the first that was overflown with corrupted light ) sarastus' name is pronounced ' sah - rah - stoos '.

Feels kind of like cheating to say just a plain ol thunderstone. And well, as a gift... I don't think he'd like it very much, to be honest. He'd probably actually be offended.

I guess... A Dawn Stone...? 'Cause, well... Hm...

When I first me the Captain I'd just lost a major tournament that meant a lot to me. I was just really down, so down in fact I got lost in the woods while training to try and make up for it and.. passed out. That's how Cap and Friede found me, and brought me to the ship to recover.

I was grateful and hung around but... Still had no motivation. I lost a lot of battle to the Captain, to Orla and Molly, I couldn't even beat Murdock... I was feeling awful..

Then one morning The Captain woke me up, just before the crack of dawn. I was so tired as I followed him to the top floor of the ship still in my pajamas, hair a mess, wondering what he could possibly need this early.

And up there I saw... The most beautiful sunrise I'd ever seen... Aboard the Brave Olivine it was like we were higher than the sun its self, and it was reaching to try and catch up to us.

That sight.. All of a sudden all I wanted to do was capture it. I wanted to paint it.

I hadn't painted in years, not sense my dad left me his Stoutland, Rusty, and told me to do what he couldn't and become a Champion. I'd given it all up to do what he'd wanted, but that dawn... it reminded me of what I really wanted to do.

So, uhm.. Yeah.. I guess I'd give him a Dawn Stone, to represent that morning...
