I think these two photos were taken, if not the very last day, then on one of the last days of the original shoot, December 2000. They had spent the better part of a year being insane together by then. No holds barred.

Okay I'm back on grinding out money pins in NEO (as you do) and I'm sorry was anyone going to tell me that the overpowered Gatto Nero pins are each named after a season and the flavor text says they're engraved with the words "seasons greetings"

Implying they were released as seasonal promotions, And, someone in the UG, who had access to pins, would be able to collect them, and be able to tell what time of year it was, perhaps important because their grasp of the passage of time is shaky, wherever they are. And perhaps they could read the pin, and be protected, not just by the power of the psychs, but by knowing that, somewhere, somewhere in the real world, the person who made the pin is trying to say hello?

Or was I supposed to notice on my own and come up with this elaborate headcanon on my own?

Summary: Evan "Buck" Buckley finds a four-inch-tall man in the hibiscus flower his sister recently gifted to him. He may or may not have almost instantly fallen in love with that four-inch-tall man.

Excerpt:

The man tried to speak, but all that came out was a coughing storm of pollen. Which made Buck worried. Made Buck scramble through his medicine cabinet to grab the little measuring cup for his Dayquil before rushing to the sink to get water and running back to give it to the man. And it was so big in the man’s hands. Like a man drinking from a bobbing for apples basin. But it seemed to suffice as the man took a moment to drink the water. Buck. Just. Watched. Marveled as this man the size of a soda can drank an entire thirty milliliters of water. Just. Chugged it. And, maybe it was a blessing that the measuring cup was two inches because it did at least obfuscate the man’s nakedness. He gazed up at Buck with those gripping blue eyes as he said, his voice rough, “Wow. Usually, I don’t wake up to someone in front of me.” And. That was when Buck might have screamed. Might have panicked and ran into his bathroom.
