But I ultimately might would go for the house#JUST becuase it would be my Dream House which means it would already meet mostly all of my specifications#and what I might be looking for. which would save a lot of time searching or customizing/rennovating.#Also because I could use that as a way to leave the US lol.. like .. if I get to choose my dream location.. couldnt I just choose some othe#country?? But I wonder how that works. Can you legally 100% have full ownership of a property in a country yet not be a citizen of that#country?? Would you show up and be like 'erm.. i own this house.. so i shall now live in it' and theyd be like 'uh no. you cant live here#despite owning the house. leave.' ??#So I think the initial process of 1. scraping together funds to actually MOVE myself and my most valuable belongings physically#TO another country. and 2. figuring out how to STAY in that country . might end up being difficult.. BUT. if I could just work that#part of things out then.. dream house?? security for once in my life?? stability?? :0#Though the $1mil is enticing it's also like.. I feel .. with the way housing prices are now... that's not much???#it's a lot I guess if you plan on like.. investing half the money and staying in an apartment for 5 years while you grow your wealth#or something. but if you're a 'I Need Stability NOW' ready to settle down person who would be most interested in owning a property rather#than nice clothes or a car or whatever other investments you could make then.. eh..?? It seems like unless you're okay with living in#a small town or kind of far away from the city - even some SMALL houses in majorly populated areas in the US will be like#$600.000 - $900.000 or something. like that would be MOST of my money. Which I know you could just pay partially and make#payments on it but idk.. in the option of just outright owning the house it seems like it'd end up being cheaper.#Plus I would want to own it fully asap because I'd be afraid of losing it somehow otherwise. like it being taken for medical bills or#something. which I thought was supposed to be - not IMPOSSIBLE - slightly more complicated legally if you actually have#paid off the house in full. I guess the issue then would be utilities and property tax and such. But I feel like thats overcome-able??#Like I could just stipulate that my Dream House has a little furnished addition or something and then find someone#with money and be like 'Look you can live in this extremely nice area with amazing ameneties and updated everything and ALL you have#to do is give me money to cover the utilities and property tax.'' or something like that. Like the little furnished addition is nicer#than the actual house. they have their own pool and spa and movie room or something and Ill also cook all their meals for them#or whatever (how luxurious it would be depeneds on how high the property tax actually is/how much I would need to entice them into#why it's a good deal for them to pay it for me lol). idk... something like that.. ANYWAY#I asked a few people I know though and one of them answered they'd rather have a romantic partner. the other one said they'd like#to be able to choose someone to die lol.. MOTHER SERIES TUMBLR EVENT?! ASK-A-PALOOZA INTEREST CHECK
Hello mother series enjoyers!!! Or, more specifically…. hello askblog enjoyers!!!! this event is for you!!
So, here's some background from me: I've wanted to make an askblog for a little while, but the idea of dedicating myself to a single concept/au/whatever is a little daunting (plus I would worry about how long I could keep it going for, etc etc)
Then, after seeing [this post] (hi zhari hi nana!!), my eyes were opened to the idea of temporary askblogs. And I thought wow, that sounds fun and much less daunting :D
SO THEN I thought: why not make a whole event about it? Where a bunch of people turn their blogs into mother series askblogs for a little while!! (You wouldn't have to actually change your whole blog theme of course, just have your askbox open and give some indication to askers that you're participating!!) You could also interact/rp with other askblogs/people participating and it'd be a grand ol' time overall!!
Would anyone be interested in an event like this?
If the results of this poll look promising, I'll make another poll for what week(s?) it should be!! Also, if you have any questions before you vote, don't be afraid to ask in the comments or dms!! I want everyone to feel welcome to participate :]

Hello everyone! Mod Pi here! Mod Fox and I have been discussing our plans for our unique spin on a traditional Big Bang, which is that this is to be made into a compilation/anthology zine in the end! So, our question for you is: would you prefer a solely digital zine, pay-what-you-want with all proceeds going to charity, or a physical zine as well, which would be 200+ pages of fanfiction and artwork printed professionally with a wrap cover in full color.
Digital-Only Pros:
- pay-what-you-can!
- accessible to all
- no shipping costs
Digital-Only Cons:
- only provides a PDF file
- less money for charity
Physical Zine Pros:
- hefty, full-color physical illustrated anthology you can hold in your hands!
- would be the first physically printed purely Danger-Days-centric zine project to be published since Tales From the Zones/Letters to the Dead several years ago
- would allow us to collect more money for charity due to the large scale of the project
Physical Zine Cons:
- expensive! a 200+ page printed book would be upwards of $60 apiece before shipping
- shipping costs
We are excited about this project either way, and the anthology will have exclusive content only available in the purchased zine regardless, but we wanted to ultimately leave the decision up to you guys!

Hi hi! So the submissions for the Los Diablos Battle Royale Tournament have been live for a while. Now I have yet to close this because 1. I've been a little busy and 2. this tournament bracket was meant to be submission only.
I will likely never do a submission only tournament again. There is currently too low of a number to run a proper bracket. There is currently 15 submissions, which isn't bad but 4 of those are Argent and 3 are non-eligible as per the rules given in the form itself.
So because I have to beef up the roster myself and make propaganda for each of them, but will be mentally occupied for the next week or two, I will leave the submissions open for that time in the hopes that you lovely people can help me out still.
The tournament will kick off likely halfway trough November.

Feeling nostalgic for good fpses again and want to go back to my half life 2 playthrough
But last time I played it it gave me terrible motion sickness and idk if I want to deal with that this weekend
Which really sucks because that is a great game, an absolutely terrific game, probably the best game I've ever played both from a story telling and game design perspective, and you just don't get games like that anymore
#if valve still worked right theyd be making both that and the original half life as hd rereleases#i know there was a fan project to remake half life in the source engine but idk if they ever finished and released it or what#but the motion sickness is why i never beat half life sadly 😞#i have it but i couldnt play longer than getting the suit#meanwhile half life 2 i was able to beat in high school so i know that#but when i tried replaying it earlier this year it gave me a headache#at least i was able to get to highway 17#i should be able to beat it i just need to figure out a gameplan to deal with the sickness#things i shouldnt have to do to game but oh well 🫠#this post brought to you by a poll asking if you prefer third person or first person in video games#and im like 'well it depends. i do love me a good first person shooter.'
