I always thought that was a feature of learning a first language, you don't always learn words by descrition or with a dictionary, you encounter them in the wild and then context helps you get a feel for it.

Anyways I was raised with 3 first langagues but I did not aquire them all at the same speed (as per circumstances)(so it's always weird when I'm being asked what my first language is, there's nuance lol). There are many words I can't quite describe, let alone translate and it seems to be a unique feature of those first 3 languages I learned.

Two months on testosterone updates
