This is SO hard because one of the main things I love about the turtles is their relationships with one another!

That said, I am a huge sucker for Raph being soft with people, and his relationship with Leo hits me in the feels quite often.

Because no matter how true this is...

... they always come back around to this.

TMayNT Day 22: Favourite turtle duo.

Not quite liking the rendering but I wanted to draw something with a sweet, cuddly, cozy and soft vibe. Just to make it clear this is NOT tcest.

I like all the relationships between the brothers. I think pb&j is my favourite because it's a little more relatable to me? I don't have any siblings and even though of course Mikey and Donnie are still brothers, I can see more of the friendship part of their relationship compared to the others. Idk if that makes sense haha. Hopefully you peeps get what I'm trying to say. If I ever manage to cultivate a found family, I hope I have a friendship like these two.

I'm trying to get my sleeping pattern under control so I didn't wanna stay up too late trying to get it how I wanted it. In a weird spot between not rendered enough and too rendered. Not the style I like but I rarely get it how I like, so this will have to do haha. Also decided to start messing around with there design a liiiitle, just to test the water on that. So they have little tails and some extra markings ^^

This toootaallllyyy wasn't an excuse to draw something related to my Botched Ass Rescue Attempt AU that I haven't been able to work on much of this month. Absolutely was not an opportunity to work on the cover art for these mystic-pseudo-ghost boys, no siree bob

On a side note, orange and blue duos are my favorite gender of characters

2012 Shredder was intimidating and had a very complex backstory, and because of all the different seasons of the series, they were able to show flashbacks and tell his story properly

I love the dynamic between Leo and Mikey! Leo cares about him but doesn't baby him, and Mikey looks up to Leo but won't think twice to mess with him if he has the opportunity

Leo and Raph are my top 2 fav turtles, and I love their duo dynamic as well. Leo and Raph of 2012 team up often and despite how much they get after each other (like typical brothers) they still have each others' back. I often think about the Space Arc episode where Leo tells the others to get back to the ship while he deals with the mercenary that was after them, but Raph going back and waiting for Leo to pull him out while the whole thing explodes behind him. Awesome moment. Lives rent free in my brain. (Leo stop being a self-sacrificial idiot. Thank goodness Raph was there)

bonus 2003 sketch because I love their dynamic SO MUCH as well, but im running behind so I'm not going finish it right now. But yeah I love 2003 Leo and Raph, and one of my fav moments with them is when, after Shredder Strikes Back, and Leo has his run in with The Window, Raph helps him forge new swords.

They're my two favourite turtles in Rise, so, obviously. Their pure, stupid, unrestrained chaos is so endearing. I love literally everything about them.

Day 22 of @tmaynt Prompt: Favorite Turtle Duo! These two are just so golden together! Especially in early season 1. I can just see the mount of times Mikey has come to Don with the most outlandish and impractical things you could think of. And in general they're just ma favs out of the bunch!

TMayNT Day 23: Favourite Human Ally.

I swapped day 22 and 23 because I feel like a bit more of a break before drawing again.

April is a lot more than just an ally but there aren't many friendly human choices in ROTTMNT who actually interact with and help the boys, and April is my favourite out of the options we have, even if she's more family than ally.

TMayNT day 22: favorite turtle duo

I love the Leo and Mikey duo. Often played as opposites for several obvious reasons, but both have a strong sense of justice and complement each other in a bunch of little ways. They don't interact one on one nearly often enough for my taste, and I feast whenever they do.

This applies to TMNT generally, but this drawing scratched a specific itch I had to return to the 2k3 style after many years. :B
