had this random idea for a tmagp comic where sam puts a poster that just says "if holding onto something hurts, it's better to just let go" on the wall of his cubicle, and everybody has wildly different takeaways from that. like alice walks by it and goes "maybe i need to let him go" and gwen walks by it and goes "maybe this job isn't good for me" and celia walks by it and goes "maybe i need to accept that this is my home now" until lena walks by it and just goes "maybe i need to finally kill myself"

so i just saw a reply on a tmagp post that referred to bonzo as the kool-aid man and if you aren't from the uk i need to show you the actual real children's mascot we have that bonzo is actually based on:

this horrible fucker is named mr blobby and used to appear on a saturday night variety show called noel's house on bbc one. he topped the uk single's chart during christmas of 1993 with his song, which was literally just called "mr blobby" and he also has a failed theme park attraction to his name. he's horrible and i hate him. he has a child, canonically in the blobby lore, called baby blobby, who he has with his canon wife mrs blobby. mr blobby fucks. this was going to be a fun little "btw this is who bonzo is a parody of" post but now i'm on a rabbit hole. i hate this pink motherfucker. here's the article on his failed theme park and a video of him harassing jack whitehall on big fat quiz of the 90s a few years ago.

The way my calc 2 professor schedules shit on Thursdays is so infuriating because it means I have to decided between listening to TMAGP directly before a quiz/exam/getting exam scores back and thinking about it for the entirety of said thing or waiting to listen to it until after class (and thinking about it for the entirety of the Activity of the Day) and hoping I'm not so emotionally ruined by this stupid class that I miss details

hello everyone!

i've had some new people follow over the last three days so i want to make a pinned post just to generally explain my tagging system and give a better home to all my links!

i'm currently using the tmagp and the magnus protocol tags for posts about the new series, as well as tmagp spoilers generally and tmagp [episode number here] spoilers specifically for the first three days after an episode comes out (so from the premiere on thursday through saturday night) although sometimes posts will take a while to work through the queue and will be tagged beyond that timeframe. regular old tma posts won't be tagged.

i do my best to tag for potentially upsetting or triggering stuff with the format tw: [tag here] but i might not catch everything. i will tag on request within reason if you need to avoid things, just shoot me an ask!

if you're looking for fic recs then you'll want my fic bin tag, and though the trend has pretty much died i also have the quiz time tag for tma related uqizzes. i've also got some tma playlists! currently there's my general tma playlist, my jmart playlist, and my ambient reading playlist (not fandom specific but i did make it with a number of tma longfics in mind). at some point i'll most likely add a protocol playlist into the mix!

and that's about it! very excited to be active on this little sideblog again and ready to enjoy protocol with all of you ^u^
