Oh he still gets paranoid and stalks people, mostly because I feel like that was less of a not!sasha influenced thing, personally. Tim is. Very distressed to find Danny's boss lurking around their house (he tries to get danny to quit a thousand times Why Won't It Work-). But they do end up doing the intervention thing, and this time, after everyone else leaves, Danny lingers behind with Jon to be like "hey. I know you're having trouble trusting me rn but like. I think you have a point" and then they team up to do some more productive sleuthing.

In terms of the eye avatar thing. I think Danny will be concerned when the powers thing starts happening, more for Jon's safety than anything else, but he probably won't be the best at suggesting he not press on in his quest for knowledge. Since he also loves learning and knowing stuff. He'd just be like "okay how can we get this information without you asking a question or otherwise compelling people because that's probably not a good thing"

Hello TMA enjoyers I have spent the past several months, with the help of some friends, corresponding every Mag episode into individual songs. Most of these were chosen based on lyrics or funny associations to the episodes they represent. If there are any songs that need explanation, I will happily try to explain. Just the same, I am always open to suggestions and ideas to song changes. I know that some of these would do better with different songs but I tried to accomplish what I could with my limited music taste. I hope you enjoy and I hopefully successfully recreated some of the feeling of listening to the show for the first time.

LISTEN- It's the implication of RedCanary gouging their eyes out and having taken things from the ruins--possibly acting a guide for a certain someone to find them--the paranoia reaching a point that made them aggressive which was commented on... the sudden change of demeanor after posting a picture of gouged out eyes.... LISTEN,, there is one (1) bitch in this series that I remember that has specific benefit to gouging out other people's eyes, is basically haunting the institute, would mark a significant personality shift, and would be a freak about it. There isn't a whole lot of evidence thrown around but the possibility doth exist and I am going insane about it. I have THOUGHTS that cannot be committed to words yet but trust that they are there-

*Grabs you by the throat* Listen to me you TMAGP-loving freaks. Listen to me right now. RedCanary might be the host for this universe's Jonah Magnus.

This is under the assumption that TMAGP takes place in a parallel universe that may or may not have already had the fears in it prior to Jon releasing them at the end of TMA.

RedCanary goes to explore the Magnus Institute ruins. They become paranoid because the Eye is watching them. They pick up a wooden box with strange symbols carved into it. They go to put it back. Next we hear from them, they post an image of gouged out eyes with the caption "Canaries should stay above ground."

They found the tunnels, hence that caption. Then they found Jonah Magnus's body sitting down there, waiting for a new host.

In this universe, the Magnus Institute burned down in 1999. Maybe in this universe Gertrude went through with her original plan of burning the place to the ground after finding out Elias was actually Jonah in 1997. Either way, let's say Jonah's original body is down there, maybe with Elias's body and his eyes and all that, and with his plans foiled, he's just chilling down there waiting for an opportunity which RedCanary then gives him. This is my going theory due to the specificity of the caption "canaries should stay above ground" (referring to the tunnels, and also it being in third-person) and the fact that RedCanary themselves would be pretty unlikely to be able to post that picture of THEIR OWN EYES GOUGED OUT unless it was Magnus assuming their body and identity and being a freak about it.

But there's more.

Narratively speaking, it makes sense for the third voice in the computer to be Jonah Magnus, right? If Jon and Martin ended up in this universe as voices in a computer, the only other person sharing their fate would have to be Magnus, given how TMA ended. Recall, also, the boot-up sequence in the trailer of TMAGP.

Jonathan, Martin, and Jonah, right? Unless Augustus is gonna be a new J name or this is just an unrelated easter egg but like. It's Jonah right?? Right??? And he's watching the O.I.R.A through the systems like a good little voyeur, and Colin knows it!

So now we possibly have TWO Jonah Magnuses in this universe!! That's absurd!! One from the TMAGP universe now loose and running around in RedCanary's body, and one from the TMA universe trapped in a computer. But if this is true...doesn't that mean there would be two Jons and Martins too?

And listen...I'm thinking about what Jonny and Alex said during that liveshow panel about this story's themes regarding "what makes a human." If we dare to hope that Jon and Martin (and Jonah, if it's his voice in the computer) are going to gain consciousness and once again become proper characters...then, are they going to simply stay in the computer? Or are they going to "manifest" physically? Are they going to UPLOAD themselves into THEIR OWN TMAGP UNIVERSE BODIES?

@doomatix and I have been going crazy over these theories and they were the one that initially considered RedCanary's new identity as Jonah Magnus. Are our facts wrong? Does any of this even make sense? We haven't seen anyone else posting about this particular theory. Someone help us we are rotting. And don't even get me started on how GWEN would fit into this--

Let's talk about Gerry's painting, shall we? We don't know what it is supposed to look like yet, but we do know that it's called “Camden Epiphany”. Now Camden is usually the name of a person or place, but not a word in English. So let's look at the origins of this name.

Winding valleys, labyrinths. Familiar. The meaning of the word definitely seems to line up with the episode's statement/entry, and also with the Spiral in general (I know we're not using those classifications anymore, it just helps with explaining my point).

And "epiphany" is, of course, used to refer to a sudden realization or revelation. This reminded me of Gerry's painting in TMA (MAG04).

The calligraphy in particular stands out to me. It seems to be asking for an epiphany, to grant the viewer or the creator a revelation of some sort.

I think that Gerry's recent painting wasn't just a throwaway moment. It's gonna come back later and it's going to be important to the narrative. And of course, I doubt that Gerry and Gertrude are going to be irrelevant to the plot. I don't think this is the last we've seen of them.

It's been 84 4 years.

Some fun facts:

Immediately prior to the initial release of the episode to the Patreon, the community manager at the time, Anil, issued me an apology. I panicked about it. But it turns out he was just referring to Alex's corny-ass delivery of my poem.

The trick to writing a poem like Martin is to get a 4 year degree in creative writing and then unlearn everything you know.

Alex said on both Discord and Twitter that I nailed the Season 1 character voices and I've been riding that high for 4 years.

The "pew pew" was improvised. Sorry, I can't take credit for that one, that was a Mike LeBeau special.

Slight adjustments were made in production but I'd say 99.9% of what came out is true to my original draft.

Also when it came out I was surprised so many people were unfamiliar with the euphemism of a "dance card". Is that just because I'm a decrepit old millennial?

Anyway, happy valentines day. May we all find the dubiously codependent love of our lives after hopelessly pining over them for years.
