A primeira vez que li sobre The Last Of Us foi em uma dessas revistas quase extintas da PlayStation, meados de 2011, falando sobre o desenvolvimento que já vinha de 2009. E tava eu lá começando a indagar sobre, esperando curiosamente 2013 chegar. Nada me preparou para aquele momento monumental quando você observa algo genial, impactante e tocante – como eu queria dar todos os adjetivos que vem a minha cabeça – uma obra de arte pela primeira vez e aquilo atravessa a sua mente de forma tão eufórica que você aspira para que o máximo de pessoas vejam a mesma coisa que você viu. O que eu posso dizer? Foi amor à primeira vista. Seria solitário se só você tivesse acesso a algo tão grandioso. Nunca joguei um jogo tão emocionalmente desafiante, o que tornou bem mais difícil. Em alguns momentos eu sentia vontade de vomitar, parar o jogo e nunca mais jogá-lo na vida. Mas meu foco em vivenciar a experiência ao máximo me guiaram até o final. Eu esperei 7 anos por isso como quem espera o envelhecimento de uma safra, o retorno de alguém ou uma oportunidade de qualquer coisa que seja..... Caralho, eu realmente preciso dar ênfase no quanto eu esperei por isso porque é exatamente o que torna toda essa minuciosidade tão preciosa. A atenção aos detalhes, a precisão em te fazer sentir a complexidade, as camadas do roteiro que te jogam na pele e te forçam a refletir profundamente.... Tem coisas tão deslumbrantes que talvez você possa tirar disso tudo. É poesia, é arte, é humano... O único apelo é pra ver algo além e absorver algo particular. Algo sutil e essencial. As coisas mais complexas são as que mais elevam seu espírito, por mais que tenham um valor tão alto a ser pago por isso. Eu sinto que passei por isso de maneira tão espinhal essa jornada catártica com a Ellie que me desespera não ter tido o controle, só a ilusão de tê-lo na minha mão. Mas são nesses “momentos de pura franqueza que você acha a sua força genuína”. É realmente, ela nunca te deixa. Eu espero que possamos nos ver de novo.
