Sylus would definitely be into body worship and pressing reverent kisses over every inch of skin that you allow, taking hours upon hours to lave affection on your skin and feel the warmth of your body. He’d keep one hand in yours as he does it, while the other caresses and strokes your skin adoringly, his touch as light as a feather, almost ticklish. The callouses on his fingers trail on your body with each squeeze, each touch, marveling at how perfect you feel under him.

Hours would be spent with him on his knees, his lips pressed against the plush of your skin, fervent in how he wants to make it known how he absolutely adores you— adores every inch of your skin, adores every facet of your person.

Any markings, like scars, tattoos, or the like are not exempt from his affections. If anything, he pays extra attention to them, to these unique things on your skin that make you you, that hold stories from points of your life —good and bad as they may be. Although I barely make content for my connverse kids, there is a series of headcanons it's storyline follows so might as well jot it down. ¯⁠\⁠( ⁠•́⁠ ͜⁠ʖ⁠ ⁠•̀⁠ )⁠/⁠¯

I headcanon that Steven isn't really immortal and that the Pink Diamond Gem will become an heirloom of sorts.

I headcanon that each of the Diamonds is some kind of representation or parallel to what forms the Universe. I don't know what the others could be, but Pink is the organic parts. Organic creatures, specially the sentient/sapient kind, is a rarity in the vast ocean of space, which was why she's the smallest.

Her affiliation to organics made her much more sympathetic and fascinated with them, and she was captivated with humans the most. Eventually, after living with them and her envy and wonder for them grew, she had the desire to be one. Or rather, something deep in her gem wanted to.

While she can make a baby without giving up her form, she chose to sacrifice herself so the gem can be passed down to Steven.

However, as Pink/Rose and Greg are different species, there had been an inconvenience. The offspring exists, but the gem and organic connection is imperfect and unstable.* The gem needs to develop it's connection to the physical body more. This can be done by letting the body naturally learn to adapt to the gem/magic, then passing both the gem and the DNA (with that learned knowledge) down to the next generation; who's physically more capable of hosting the diamond. The result is not instantaneous so it's going to take a number of generations before the gem and body becomes perfectly fused. (Slow burn route, babyyyy)

Passing down the gem can be done in two ways.

One is the natural way: by giving birth to the child with the gem intact. Of course, this will cause the parent to die. (There miiight be a chance they will still live despite now not having a gem, if they have the technology for it. But it can get trickier down the line as the body and gem becomes more connected.)

The alternate instance the gem can be passed down is when the current keeper becomes deceased and their "Pink Form" (like the Pink Steven in Change Your Mind) appears. They will guard the gem until a progeny claims it. There's a possibility the gem rejects the new body though.

There's a cool down after the gem is passed down. Of course, that and how mentally ready the person is can affect how long the cool down lasts. (Which was why Steven's gem powers didn't come out sooner.)

I was thinking about when you inherit the gem in the second way, how part of the cool down works is that you can still see the prior host as an apparition others can't see. They can talk to you and stuff. (Guide you? Torment you? Be your friend? Idk) But they can't really interact with anything else. They disappear when the new host (keeper?) is fully mentally ready to take in the gem.

*I was wondering also. Either conveniently or by design, Steven has a positive disposition as a lower morale can disrupt the gem's balanced state. Unfortunately for our boi, he's the first meat host, so he has to learn how to keep a stable mind the hardest. 😞

=> You've dropped by to visit your Sanctuary, as while it is somewhat out of the way in the middle of a forest you've noticed it still attracts visitors from time to time. Mostly animals, based on the footprints left in the soft earth and occasionally bones belonging to smaller creatures that must have been a larger predator's lunch.

=> But, you also have found traces of trolls using the glade as a picnicking spot as well, despite it being rather off the beaten track. Either that, or maybe a bird has been using pieces of litter for a nest. Whatever it may be, you've dedicated yourself to keeping this area pristine so you and the forest's animals have a safe place to return to, so anything left behind by visitors needs to go.

=> You spy a glint of a chip packet in the moonlight, and it appears to have caught the interest of a rabbit as well. But just as you're about to walk over to pick it up before the curious animal gets its head stuck inside, the rabbit looks up suddenly, pricking its ears for a moment and then fleeing.

=> Then, you hear the rustling of someone emerging through the bushes.

"Oh-!! Um, ehe..."

=> You're too close to the water's edge of the lake to have any cover to hide behind, so you stay still. If this person is hostile, you know where you can flee to.

alright my merry band of ... folks (it's early, don't judge me), officially opening prompts for writing shenanigans for the first session of 2025! i'll probably keep it open for like a week or so.

here are some general guidelines and my ao3 if you want me to revisit any fics. no parameters or anything at the moment - as in, you can make them as "easy" or as "challenging" as you want (the ones that have already come in are all challenging in their own way, these are gonna be funnnn!)

i'll do my best to fill in the order they come in just know that i never know what's going to happen until i start writing - might be something experimental, might be noodly thoughts, might be less than 100 words, who knows! i sure don't lol
