Explanation: starting off with your appearance, I think that he would find you very attractive and I think as kind of a head canon of myself I think that he finds shorter people attractive because I don’t know. I feel like he just likes to kind of feel like he has that power maybe or I don’t know. I just think he makes it think it makes you look adorable even if you can very well kill someone I just I don’t know. I think he really likes having a shorter partner, additionally I don’t think he would mind Scars because he has plenty of his own. I think he would definitely find stretch marks that might be an unpopular opinion, but I think that Jason Todd would definitely stretch marks attractive. He’s definitely a “ I’m driving so I can control the radio” type of guy. I think it would take him a while to grow comfortable with touching in a relationship, but you’re usually the one exception to someone who will he allows to touch him and you’re the one person who quickly gained his trust to which is an unusual trade for him, but I feel like you would be kind of the one exception as to a person he would feel comfortable with being physical because he knows how much you enjoy physical contact, and that it’s your love language. I don’t see him as a generally like physical person, but I feel like you could change that like with you it’s different. When he starts looking into the fate of the world, he encounters a maze with too many paths to tread. There, he meets his d/Destiny. Now he only needs to find out about his F/fate.

This is the story in which Hob needs to find a damn true crossroad where someone was once hanged in the effing 21st century English countryside bc he needs answers damnit and they aren’t cheap.

And if anyone were to ask Hob, master of change and yet still keeper of memories past, then D/destruction - the liminal space between the old and the new, the shatterpoint between what was and what will be but never ever both or the bridge between states - can just as well fuck off. Because it’s bridges and slow change and diplomacy and compromise that the world needs. There’ve been enough either-or situations going around the past couple centuries. The most contradictory argument I've seen Claremont fans like to use to make the "Azazel isn't Nightcrawler's dad anymore" retcon look rational is "well it makes sense in the setting because not all mutants who look like each other and have the same powerset have to be related to each other even if Nightcrawler has [this this and that] in common with Azazel". Because you'll never see them pull a BS argument like in any other discussion like for Nightcrawler and his chimeras or Nightcrawler and his alternative reality daughter TJ. You'll see them instead go "it makes sense for them to be related and have those specific traits as his DNA gave them [same this this and that in the Azazel example]"

Here's the thing. Yes some X-Men characters can have similar powers and not be related to each other... But you'll be lying to yourself if those powers work the same way or carry the same signature between those characters and still think a biological tie isn't present.

Nightcrawler, TJ, the Chimeras and Azazel's teleportation powers have the same BAMF sfx. Their powers don't just have the same BAMF sfx : They work the same way as they all use the same dimension in their teleportation... Nobody else goes through that place but them. Azazel, Nightcrawler, TJ and the Chimeras are all immune the brimstone and light-headedness of each others' teleportation.

You can find traits in Nightcrawler's biological children that can't be found in him but are present in Azazel specifically. Does it make sense with the retcon's logic with Mystique and Destiny as his only biological parents ? Absolutely not... But it makes sense with Azazel here and by applying the same logic of a normal family tree.

TJ can make hex discs tied to the dimension she teleports through but Nightcrawler can't ? Well the Scarlet Witch is her mother and she also makes hex discs even if hers aren't tied to the Brimstone Dimension... But Azazel's magic is tied to the Brimstone dimension so it is possible the way his magic works skipped one generation hence why Nightcrawler doesn't have it while TJ does.

Cardinal has shadow bending abilities while being completely red (hair and fuzz) while Nightcrawler is completely blue (hair and fuzz) which gives him shadow bending abilities ? Well 1/3 of his DNA is Rachel's, a redhead, tho the other 2/3 are of characters with completely black hair... But it makes sense if Azazel is part of the equation since he himself has red fuzz and it has shadow bending abilities contrary to Nightcrawler who wouldn't have shadow bending abilities if he wasn't blue.

I mean the main problem with their argument is that Azazel was designed to be Nightcrawler's father and has been so for more than 20 years now, even the retcon couldn't fully remove him it just created a convoluted way to connect him to Nightcrawler but as established any being that gets Azazel's blood becomes his child anyhow.

Honestly the looking alike doesnt mean relation argument could be used against Mystique if some writer decides "you know what I hate this relationship let's get rid of it". The only difference would be that Mystique has more of a nostalgia factor for Older X-Men fans that's literally it.

I remember that Nightcrawler's body is attuned to magic even if he doesn't necessarily cast it he can use it to some degree if he needs to so where would that come from otherwise because neither Mystique nor Destiny have Magic based powers.
