Pissed off and venting!! Xfinity recently raised their rates again. I text chat a representative and he was going to lower my bill by $43! Great, I think. Perfect, I will take it. We get all the way to processing the changes and they have technical issues and he tells me I have to call in to complete the transaction.

I email my transcript of the chat to myself so I can reference it when I call it.

After telling the person what I need and that I have this transcript and it was almost processed they then tell me that the lowest they can get my bill is $14. I'm mad because that's $29 a month which is $348 a year that I should be saving.

Ask for a manager to see if they can look at the transcript and see if they can process my changes the way the other individual said they could.

I spend an hour and half with the folks on the phone and accept the $14 reduction. I then send the copy of the transcript back to Xfinity and tell them to make it right or else we will be cancelling our cable completely. We have to keep their internet because we can't get anyone else who is comparable. I personally don't think they will make it right or else they would have done it with me on the phone today.

My husband and I are considering this as we stream Netflix and Disney plus on most of the TVs almost all the time. I think this is the push we need to make the change.
