Closed starter for @tionpeake Setting: After the return from the Westerlands. Lady Seffora Merryweather exchanges correspondence with Lord Tion Peake to develop a closer alliance between their houses and regions. After a couple of ravens are sent back and forth, Lord Tion is invited to Longtable to further discuss matters.

From the messages they had exchanged thus far, it appeared to Seffora that the Lord of House Peake and herself were aligned in what they expected of an alliance between their people and lands. Starpike, Dustonbury, and Whitegrove were in close proximity to Longtable, so at least in terms of trade, a partnership could be facilitated without becoming too cost-intensive.

The Ruling Lady of Longtable had arranged a small feast with her closest advisors of the Ding to welcome the Peake lord. Once the horses and carriage were spotted approaching the keep, Seffora made her way to the courtyard to welcome the lord.

“Welcome to Longtable, my lord,” the Merrywather lady said with a gracious nod of her head, offering a smile to her guest. “I thank you kindly for accepting the invitation”.

Building: Bionicle

It’s getting tougher to find the “LEGO®” aisle in toy stores these days. Traditional LEGO construc- tion sets are more often than not hidden behind strangely shaped canisters featuring robotic-looking creatures. Shoppers are more likely to stumble upon this “Bionicle” aisle before ever seeing another LEGO set, for the simple reason that LEGO Bionicle has been the company’s biggest selling product line for the last several years.

But what IS this Bionicle invasion, anyway?

To parents, it tends to be a complete mystery. Robotic warriors from a tropi- cal island or ancient city of legends. A lexicon so complex it has its own diction- ary. A layered story involving collectible disks and masks: Toa and Turaga, Makuta and Rahkshi, Vahki and Matoran. Bohrok and Bohrok-Kal. Video games, shoes, backpacks, and party favors. Even Halloween costumes.

To kids (typically 6-12 year old boys, for whom Bionicle is squarely aimed), Bionicle is a richly populated universe with cool LEGO sets, movies, books, an ever-updating storyline, Bionicle comics shipped with their LEGO Club magazine subscriptions (http://club.LEGO.com), its own official website (http://www.bionicle.com), and popular online resources such as BZPower (http://www.bzpower.com) and Bionicle Sector 01 (http://www.bioniclesector01.com).

Bionicle begins as a story set on the island of Mata Nui (recently expanded to the ancient city-island of Metru Nui) that pits several good guy Toa against bad guy Makuta and his minions. The Toa protect the other inhabit- ants of the islands, the Matoran, from the vicious Rahkshi and Visorak, among other nasties. Each is available as a set.

New and updated construction sets have been released at least twice each year since 2001, when Bionicle was widely introduced. The first six color-coded Toa of Mata Nui -- lava red Tahu, icy white Kopaka, sea blue Gali, stone brown Pohatu, deep black Onua, and forest green Lewa -- were an instant hit, winning awards and shattering sales records. Follow-up releases have also been strong, with updated Toa -- Toa Nuva, Toa Metru, and the latest, Toa

Hordika -- continuing the ongoing story. Of course, the Toa need something to protect, so there have been several rounds of Matoran sets released, the first in 2001 McDon- ald kids meals. Those poor Matoran often need help, from wild Rahi (animals) or Makuta’s Rahkshi “sons” to their own Vahki protector machines run amok.

Driving the story (and not coincidentally, LEGO set sales figures) are sev- eral media, primarily the Bionicle comics from DC and a popular series of books from Scholastic, most authored by Greg Farshtey (who also writes the comic). There have also been two well-received com puter-animated films released directly to video/DVD (“Bionicle:

Mask of Light�� and “Bionicle: Legends of Metru Nui”), and a third is in the works. The official Bionicle website likewise provides storyline updates using text and animation, and has also included two immensely popular online games.

When you get into Bionicle, you’re not just buying a construction/action set... you’re entering a universe full of dramatic good-vs-evil action. There’s a lot behind those little canisters on the shelf, just waiting to be discovered.

"Since we heard that you had assigned for Men's Director, we had been looking forward to see your collection. The show was great and fabulous, and also completely different uses of imagination from the previous season.

-Please tell us how you thought about designing this Men's Collection for the first time this season

I am very happy because what I wanted to do was to do something very me. I treated it as if it was my first kid. And I am very happy for the people that believed in my creativity until now...

Please tell us which part did you put the most effort in this collection.

I wanted to give my best without looking like someone else's collection; I found out menswear wardrobe was either too casual or too elegant, so I decided to do something in between. While you only have skinny and androgyny looks around, I played with healthiness, masculinity, volume, and more sensuality on menswear.

You are now designing three collections for Givenchy: Prêt-à-Porter, Haute Couture, and Men's. Can you tell us the good part or the hard part for designing three different collec tions?

"Givenchy man is the boy friend of Givenchy woman". This is the major premise that reinforces the image of Givenchy brand by providing greater coherence. It can not be made possible without my experience as a designer in the world of womenswear. There is no demerit. Designing makes my life, and it is what makes me happy. To me, the designing is a way to express myself to the public.

-How is the approach different in the designing Men's and Ladies Collection? And where the inspirations come from?

There are a lot of differences between Men's and Women's...A woman wants radical changes every season. But for a man, when they find their own shapes, styles and images, they love it and stay faithful to it forever. I don't have much interest in classic aesthetic stan dards and I think we all have to get out of syn drome you often see today that requires men and women to have very skinny links. The two collections have a lot in common because they are from the same thought.

-Please tell us what the most important factor is for men's fashion.

For a man, clothing is a religion. When they fall in love with it, they stay faithful to it forever. They wear it his own way and be elegant. For a Givenchy man, it doesn't matter his age, as long as he is confident about his look and his sensuality.

-Please tell us more about your future plan for Givenchy Men's Collection.

For real men, I want to propose clothing that is both elegant and masculine. I am not looking to dress men as women, but rather offer them a viable wardrobe that serves them equally well in any situation."

Chapter 2: The Crossroads

Warnings: This chapter does briefly mention abo*tion in conversation between two characters. There are also descriptions of character injuries. Minors DNI.

Summary: A lot can change in a day. Your life being no exception. You find yourself at the crossroads when you receive information that throws your life into a tailspin.

Ch. 01

It wasn’t the fact that Rex had to go on these missions that bothered you, but rather it was your reunions being delayed due to frequent ‘unforeseen complications’. You never get any further explanation beyond that. You suspect that Rex is only trying to protect you from worrying more than usual. You’d rather know the details about the danger he experiences instead of conjuring scenarios in your already anxiety fueled mind when he’s off world.

To give him credit, Rex does his best to reassure you when you do get to talk over encrypted comm channels. Although, your chats have become less frequent during these latest batch of missions.

You curse this stupid war, longing for the day he is back home safe and can stay in your arms. It’s been a week since he’s last contacted you, two weeks since he’s been gone. It’s also been two weeks since you’ve felt like your normal healthy self. Speaking of which, you currently find your head buried in the toilet bowl.

Dy holds your hair back as you heave up your supper. She rubs circles on your back. “That’s it! We’re going to the doctors.”

“I hate doctors,” you grumble. “Hospitals creep me out.”

“I don’t care,” she helps you stand. You wobble on shaky legs as you walk to the sink. “You might not have noticed but you’ve lost a kriff ton of weight. It’s not healthy.” 

“I’ve told you, I’m fine. It’s that flu going around,” you swish mouthwash around your mouth, spitting it into the sink. You reach for a cloth, washing the sheen of sweat from your face.

“Regardless, I’m taking you to the doctors.” Her reflection gives you a look in the mirror that says she’s not going to let it go. You know she wouldn’t suggest something that frightens you if she wasn’t concerned about you. 

You roll your eyes. “Fine, but I get to say I told you so when the doctor says it’s the flu.”

“And I get to say I told you so when it’s something else.” She smiles proud that she wore you down. “Hurry up and get dressed, the next bus comes in 20 minutes.”

Half an hour later, the two of you sit side by side in stiff grey chairs in the small reception area. Your leg bounces uncontrollably waiting for your name to be called. You glance around the room, skimming the various medical posters adorning the wall. You flinch at the sound of another patient coughing. 

“Y/n?” The medical droid receptionist calls your full name. You stand up. “The Doctor will see you now.” 

“Do you want me to come in with you?” Dy asks.

“No, I’ll be okay.”

She nods in understanding. “I’ll be right here okay?”

You follow the receptionist droid down a long carpeted hallway to a small examination room. “If you can take a seat,” the droid gestures to the raised bed. “The Doctor will be in shortly.”

“Okay, thank you.” 

The droid shuts the door behind it. You sit on the bed, the protective paper covering the bed crinkles under you. You swing your legs, your hands clasped together as you wait. You don’t wait long when the door opens and an average sized, greying haired woman enters the room. 

“Good afternoon Y/N,” she greets with a warm smile. “I’m Doctor Minez, so what brings you in today?” 

You relax a little under the soft gaze of Doctor Minez. “Um, I’ve been having trouble keeping food down. It’s like hit or miss in what makes me throw up.”

“How long has this been going on?”

“I think three-ish weeks?” You shrug. Doctor Minez types on the holopad in front of her. “I had a cold before that so I’m assuming it’s from that.”

“Any food allergies or intolerances that you’re aware of?”

“Nope, just liwi fruit but I haven’t had one since I was a kid.”

“Hmm, let me run some tests. We can see what comes up and figure out the right treatment for you. Do you consent to that?”

“What kind of tests?”

“We’ll do some blood work to start just to get a baseline and then we’ll determine if any more tests are necessary.”

“Okay, yeah lets do that.”

It is quick and painless when she draws blood from the vein on the inside of your arm. “Alright, I will be back as soon as I can with your results so hang tight okay?”

“Sure,” you purse your lips.

Again, you are alone in the examination room. Your anxiety spiking with each minute passing. What’s taking so long? Am I dying and they’re trying to find the words to tell me? Or is it–? You cut that thought short as the door clicks open. 

Doctor Minez enters the room, her expression is unreadable. “Your results are in. Would you prefer to read them on your own or for me to tell you?”

“Please tell me.” You reply. She proceeds to confirm what you’ve suspected but weren’t ready to admit. You follow her into another room because seeing is truly believing.

“Should you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to call or come in.” Doctor Minez hands you a strip of four black and white photos. “I will have my assistant send you some information packets for you to review as well.”

“Thank you,” you say distractedly walking back down the carpeted hallway. A million thoughts race through your mind and you try to push down the growing panic attack inside you. 

“So, what did they say?” Dy closes her magazine. 

“Not here,” you shake your head. She doesn’t push you on it, noticing the look on your face. 

Back at the apartment, you sit on the couch processing the news. I’m going to be a mom. There’s a life growing in me. For 3 months. Has it really been that long since your last period? 

You don’t have regular periods so you never noticed. Also, you have been stressed more than usual. Kriff Rex’s back to back missions. Oh Maker. Rex. I have to tell him.

“Do you want to talk about it?” Dy sits on the other side of the couch. She looks at you with a mix of sympathy and concern.

Wordlessly, you hand the ultrasound to her. She looks confused at it for a moment before realising what the photos are. 

“Well, I told you so,” she cheekily says. Her face drops when she notices your conflicted expression. “Y/N?”

“I’m pregnant,” you say aloud, setting reality into stone. “I’m in shock.”

“What did the doctor say?”

“Um, she gave me a lot of helpful information and mentioned that it is early enough in the pregnancy to decide if I want to terminate or not.”

Dy places the ultrasounds on the glass coffee table to grab your hand. “Whatever you decide, I’ll support you. You know that right?” 

“I know,” you give her a tiny grateful smile. “I have to tell Rex,” you drag your hand across your face. “There’s no question about that.”

“I’m sure he’ll be supportive of whatever your decision is.”

You nod, placing a hand on your abdomen looking down at it. “I think I want to keep it. Is that crazy?” You bite your bottom lip facing her. 

“Not at all! It’s exciting!” She hugs you. “I’m gonna be an aunt!”

Her energy is infectious and you giggle anxiety melting away from you. “I’m gonna be a mom,” you laugh. “Me!”

Dy pulls you up off the couch. “We’re going out to celebrate! My treat.”

The two of you end up going to the dessert restaurant that you’ve been dying to try, managing to keep your favourite dessert down. Probably, now that their presence is known, your child will allow you to eat again. You step off the lift, your laughter dying on your lips when you see a clone trooper banging on the door to your apartment.

“What the–?” Dy asks.

“Jesse?” You call walking closer to the trooper.

“Y/N, thank the Maker.” He pulls you in a crushing hug. “You need to come with me.”

Your stomach drops. “What is it?”

“It’s Rex, he— it’s bad. We need to go.”

“Do you want me to come?” Dy yells to your retreating backs.

“No, I’ll call in a bit!” Your hands shake as you follow Jesse into the lift. “How bad?” You bring yourself to ask, terrified to hear the answer.

“Our medic had to sedate him. It’s bad Y/N,” Jesse’s voice wavers under his bucket. “The clankers, they came out of nowhere. I don’t know how but they did. Rex he— he saved my life.” 

You slip your hand in his. “He’s gonna be okay. He always is.” You reassure the trooper despite your wavering voice. 

“Yeah, you’re right. He’s Rex. He’s gotta be okay.” Jesse sniffs. “He’ll be okay.”

Today is the day of anxiously waiting in waiting rooms. You muse to yourself sitting next to Jesse. Other members of the 501st who you presume were on the mission as well, fill the remaining chairs. They too are concerned about the fate of their beloved Captain. He’s in emergency surgery, according to the nurses. You were given no more information than that despite your insistence. Absent-mindedly, you draw patterns on your abdomen. It’ll be okay. 

The lead doctor who has been working on Rex for the past few hours emerges. His expression is neutral. Bile rises to your throat. You and Jesse stand. The rest of the boys were instructed to head to the barracks to make room for other patients in the waiting room. “The good news is that he is in stable condition”

Jesse squeezes your hand. You furrow your eyebrows at the doctor’s hesitation. “But?”

“I’m afraid that we had to put him in a medically induced coma to keep his vitals stable.”

“Can we see him?” Jesse asks.

“Of course, right this way.”

The doctor leads you to Rex’s hospital room. You let out an audible gasp when your eyes land on Rex.

His body is bandaged, covering up the severity of the lacerations that are sure to create more scars for his already extensive collection. His left arm is in a sling across his body setting his fractured collar bone in place. His face is swollen and littered with tiny cuts. Both of his eyes have huge black bruises around them.

He lays deathly still. The only sign that he is still alive is the vital monitor beeping in a steady rhythm. Your feet carry you to the chair beside his bed. “I’m here my love,” you kiss his knuckles, resting your cheek against the back of his clammy hand. “I’m here with Jesse. If you can hear us. Can he hear us?” You ask the Doctor.

“Most coma patients when they recover often report that they were able to hear bits and pieces of conversation.”

You gulp. “How long will he be like this?”

“Hard to say. It can range from a day to a few weeks at most. It depends on a variety of factors.” He scribbles something on a notepad. “Here are the visiting hours that unfortunately have already passed so you’re more than welcome to come back tomorrow.” 

“Thank you doc,” Jesse squeezes your shoulder. “I’ll take you home.”

It becomes a routine. You go home, sleep for a bit before you’re back at the hospital sitting faithfully by Rex’s bedside until visiting hours are over. You know that any day now, he’ll wake up. You talk to him about a variety of things except for the one piece of news you’re waiting to tell him when he’s fully recovered. I hope you’ll be excited about this. Our new adventure. You’re so absorbed in your thoughts that you don’t realize you’re no longer alone in the room.

“What’re you doing here?” An authoritative voice startles you. You peel your gaze away from Rex’s face to see the scowling face of General Skywalker, recognizing him as the poster boy of the Republic. 

You stand. “Uh, Captain Rex, he’s a friend?” You say pathetically. You’re unsure how much Rex has confided about your relationship. 

“Friend. Right.” He says dryly. “You shouldn’t be here.”

“With all due respect, I have every right to be here.”

“Even though you’re the reason why he’s lying here?” General Skywalker's voice is laced with venom. He tosses a frayed photograph down on the bed by Rex’s feet. Your stomach drops, recognizing exactly what photograph that is.

You pick it up. Rex had insisted one night that the light from the sunset was ‘perfect’ and snapped a photo of you laying in the grass surrounded by daisies smiling up at him. “So I can have some sunshine with me,” he told you. That night was the first night you slept together solidifying the hold he has on your heart. 

“Did you hear what I said? You have to go.” General Skywalker growls. 

“I don’t have to do anything.” You say defiantly.

He steps into your personal space peering down at you. Malice shines in his eyes. “I don’t think you understand the situation here. Because of you, Rex was compromised. He was distracted by you that his efficiency on the battlefield suffered landing him here.” 

Maybe it is your fault. You glance from the General’s searing stare to Rex’s face. You can feel tears forming. 

“And even if he wasn’t injured, you’re still compromising his life.”

You turn your attention back to the Jedi. “I don’t understand?”

“If word was to get out about your ‘friendship’, Rex would be decommissioned and trust me you don’t want to know what that means.”

Your stomach drops. You’ve heard that term before but when you asked Rex about it, he shut you down. He told you never to bring it up again. His tone chilled you to your core and you knew it must be something terrible for Rex to react that way. 

“Leave now. Stay away from Rex and never contact him again if you care about him.”

“But I love him.” You mumble. 

“If you love him, you’ll do this to save his life.” His tone softens. “I’ll give you a moment to say goodbye.” He steps back out of the room. 

What General Skywalker has said makes sense. Love is about sacrifices and it’s no question that Rex’s life outweighs everything. You walk back to the hospital bed. Unclasping the necklace from your neck, you set it on the bedside table. You caress Rex’s beautiful face, leaning over to place a gentle kiss on his forehead. Goodbye my love. 

With your heart breaking in your chest, you leave brushing past General Skywalker. It isn’t until you’re in the air taxi heading home that you let your tears freely fall. 

Unbeknownst to you in the sterile hospital room long after you’ve gone, Rex’s eyes slowly open.

The ONF Multiverse Theory

OMG?! Are your eyes right? Am I back with another kpop theory?

Yes. The answer is yes. It literally says Theory on the title, come on.

I’m sorry. Can you already sense this theory has driven me to madness? Because it has. If you thought MONSTA X’s time traveling shenanigans were complicated, oh boy… You’re in for a good one. Anyways for those of you who might not know me, my name is Orion, but you can call me Ori, and today I bring you my take on ONF’s story that they’ve developed through the MVs. Thought this would be a good time since they’re in the MS and won’t be putting out more confusing MVs to disprove my theory soon. 

If you like this theory, consider checking my other theories here. Also, I recommend you have a death counter at hand, you’ll need it. And now, let’s dive into the theory.

TW: So much Main Character Death.

Some things to consider 

Before we fully go into the theory, I want you to know and acknowledge that we’re going to be dealing with space-time travel, multiple universes, and the fact that Hyojin has like three different hairstyles per music video (I wish I were kidding). The videos are mostly chronological from ON/OFF to Why, and from then on, your guess is as good as mine. I also want you to know I have two possible alternatives for how to organize the story in the MVs, and I’ll be addressing both of them to the best of my abilities. I hope it’s not too confusing.

Universe 01: Opening the Gates to the Multiverse (ON/OFF to Why + New World)

ON/OFF starts our story with one of the most interesting settings I’ve seen in k-pop and yet it’s never addressed again: humans did a Wall-E and left Earth. Throughout the MV we get to see a sign in the Cinema Paradise movie theater that says “Now it’s over. The end of the world. Destroyed. Last day. Place where of it is gone. We still have hope.” This is accompanied by signs of a spaceship under the title of “Journey to space: You can go anywhere, dreams come true”.

Basically, the Earth was coming to an end and humans decided to jump ship. On the spaceships, they fabricated androids that they sent back to Earth to heal it and send a signal back to them once they deemed the planet habitable again. Laun is the one to send the signal in the end, as we see him operating a machine. The signal is received (as shown by the “Upload Complete” and the “Signal Detected” screens) and humans make it back to Earth, symbolized by the Astronaut looking out the fancy window and the “meteorites” coming down to Earth which are spaceships.

In Complete we see more symbols of sending messages, such as the flare Laun fires, or the smoke bomb E-tion is holding. Laun is also seen with a similar looking machine again, and we get to see the meteorites/spaceships falling to Earth once more.

We Must Love (WML) is where things start getting a bit complicated story-wise. We don’t have anything that points to this, but it’s probable that after coming back to Earth, they got the androids back and kept them at base while working on other things. At the same time, the company that created them starts working on something new: space-time travel. I believe that they decided to test it on Laun without telling him much of what it was about. The others figured it out and tried to stop it, but it was too late.

Laun wakes up in the middle of a forest, with, at best, very spotty memories of who he was, at worse, he remembers absolutely nothing. He remakes his life. Meanwhile, the others make it their personal mission to find him. We know from the Making Film that U was actually left behind, probably because he was the second youngest at the time. J-Us was helping through hacking while the others were on the ground looking for him. E-tion manages to find him once but accidentally activates the watch before he gets close to him. Hyojin also finds him, but realizes they’re simply too late.

It is through J-Us’ hacking that we’re first introduced to the multiverse. If we look closely at the screen that displays Laun’s information, on the bottom it says “Address: South Korea, Earth, Universe 01”.  This immediately implies that there are more universes, so from now on I’ll be adding a tag before the names to specify which version of them I’m talking about, and those tags will correspond to the subtitles of each section, so in this case, it’ll be U1.

Now, here is where I have an issue with how the timeline progresses. Technically it would make absolute sense, plot-wise, for Beautiful Beautiful (BB) to happen after WML and before Why, though there are a few details that are contradictory. On one hand, no one has died yet, and J-Us’s plot of being arrested fits nicely. On the other hand, BB looks way too advanced to be happening at the same time as Why, and it looks way more similar to Goosebumps (GB), though we do see flying cars in Why. There’s also the fact that the development of the relationships of the characters makes no sense if we transition from BB to Why, and I know Why has to happen before Goosebumps (GB), so for now we’re not going to count BB as part of U1, but I’ll keep you updated if that changes.

So let’s continue with Why. New World’s (NW) lyrics are actually a great tool for explaining what’s happening in Why, and the Road to Kingdom performance also makes references to it. After losing Laun and realizing what the company was making them do, the rest of ONF feel it is unfair and decide to run away and create, almost literally, a new world. They probably get this information from the company, and decide to look for The Cube.

We don’t know much about The Cube other than it is necessary for them to create the new world, it is probably what allows travel between universes (as opposed to space-time travel within the same universe), and you need six keys to unlock it. At the end of the video, we see that most of them are facing The Cube, so we can assume they managed to unlock it, but it is not without a price.

One of the teasers, also called “signal clues” (#11), shows us a slightly blurry picture of Hyojin at the end of Why taking off the silver mask, with a very prominent word slapped over it: CLONING. In signal clue #9 we see pictures of all the members, but there’s two Hyojin pictures with an equal sign between them. The first one says Error, while the second one says Why along with Hyojin’s serial number. Yes, what I’m proposing here is that Hyojin was cloned, probably by the company, though maybe as a side effect of them using untested technology, and Clone!Hyojin (now known as C!Hyojin) became corrupted as part of the process went wrong.

We know the technology they were using was unfinished because E-tion writes about it in signal clue #9 as well. We also know that E-tion is carrying with him a USB called “storage of ONF”, we don’t know for sure what it contains but it might be their original memories. This is what I managed to decipher from the text.

“We came to know the matter of illegal chips (...) (entered) the laboratory secretly, and tried to do Time Warp by (stealing?) illegal chips in an unfinished (state). And (...) warp repeatedly (because, …) (illegal) chips and felt (human) (before), he started (recording).”

After C!Hyojin gets corrupted, we see him literally eliminate U1!Hyojin from existence. J-Us learns about this, and looks for him to confront him, and although we don’t see it happening, we have every reason to believe J-Us is dead too. For one, we never see him fire the gun against C!Hyojin, and most importantly, he gets surrounded by C!Hyojin’s minions, so I think it’s safe to assume he did not make it to the new world.

There’s a few other things and questions I have about Why that we don’t get an explanation. Why was Wyatt in a tube? Why were E-tion and U fighting? How did MK get all his advanced technology to work in that abandoned building? As for Wyatt, I think he was either captured and put there, or he put himself there to escape his misery and then was woken up by the others. E-tion and U were probably fighting because it’s possible that E-tion wanted to stop U from doing something dangerous, him being the baby and all, but U did not want to be treated like that. MK’s shenanigans are the fruit of k-pop lore magic. In any case, with 4/6 making it to the new world, we are done with Universe 01.

Interlude: Were ONF humans?

This is perhaps one of the most complicated questions to answer in the theory. We don’t get any clues that they could have been humans before being turned into androids until we see the text in signal clue #3, which I’ve copied to the best of my abilities here:

“They were originally (...) Humans made their memories digitalized as they evolved and then they got into Android like (...) such evolved case. But, they became Android, and (...) was only remaining in records but their feelings disappeared.

Meanwhile (...) hacker (...) came to know the secret too late, visited the vast (...) with the Multiverse like multiple universe and did hacking (...) to deliver the illegal chip online in order to look for them (...).

A person who first found its clue left the secret place (...) who maintained a close relationship to him. He wandered (...) in Multiverse (...) its trace. Two got together in the end, but there was not much time left to him.”

We also get a couple more references to it in BB and Popping. In the News program in BB we get a text that says “(...) machines and become the humanoid.”. In the Making Film for Popping, Wyatt says that the heart projected onto his chest is because he’s hesitant about choosing between being human or robot. So it is very, very likely that ONF voluntarily turned themselves into androids in order to be able to take care of Earth while humans returned, and then they were used by their company until they decided they didn’t want that anymore. It’s definitely a plot point that I feel should be explored more.

Universe 02: Parallel World - Dream (Sukhumvit Swimming)

In one of the social media teasers for Sukhumvit Swimming (SS), we see the phrase “Parallel World: dream”, so it is quite possible that everything happening in SS is a dream, and if so, it’s very likely a dream from the characters in Popping. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not a reality itself. I remember seeing a video of a person explaining that their dream-self had a separate memory of events that happened in their dreams, and while wild-sounding, I don’t see why the characters wouldn’t be able to dream of other dimensions. 

Even the director of Popping kind of confirms that Wyatt has nightmares about C!Hyojin about how he killed them all in other MVs, so it’s entirely possible one version of the boys might be dreaming about other versions of themselves. It also makes sense for this to happen, since The Cube is now active and all that.

We don’t have very clear context of what’s happening during SS, however, the visuals lead me to believe that this is what would have happened to Earth had the humans not left to try and save it. I like to imagine that in this universe, they stayed and brought upon the end of the world. Androids still got developed, but they got very different jobs. J-Us here is like a sheriff / policeman. I don’t remember the name of Wyatt’s cart but it’s like a space-time traveling taxi. E-tion was sent to explore other planets. Hyojin and MK went rogue, one holding people as time hostages while the other is a pirate. And U… well he’s in a party?

Through the video we see, mostly, very destroyed and rundown cities. In fact, towards the end we see Wyatt sitting in his little cart just watching everything being blown to smithereens. In another shot, we see E-tion contemplating the end of the world as spaceships fly away from Earth, so it’s very likely that U2’s Earth is as good as gone.

There’s also the very obvious storyline between Hyojin and J-Us. One being a criminal and the other law enforcement, they eventually end up facing each other, with J-Us emerging victorious at the cost of Hyojin’s life. There is one scene where we see Hyojin’s death being reversed,so I think it was just J-Us trying to find another solution that wasn’t killing him, yet they still end up like right at the beginning with the train, so I don’t think there was another solution. It’s almost a time loop, if you will.

Now we’re faced with the glaring question of… why was everyone dead around J-Us at the end of the video while he held Hyojin? Well, remember this universe is parallel to another, it’s in the teasers. We don’t get to see how they die, other than Hyojin, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t dead. It’s very likely that they died at the end of the world, but despite the lack of information, we can’t ignore the obvious.

Universe 03: Back to the ice-age (Popping)

Popping is absolutely one of my favorite title tracks and also one of the MVs that makes me the saddest because of their fabulous acting (Hyojin’s expression as the debris and the missile head towards his spaceship???? Priceless). It’s also like, the one MV that can stand alone almost perfectly, and it’s the complementary dimension to the one in SS (the connection between the two was confirmed in the MV Making Film).

I fully believe most, if not all of them are human throughout this MV, except perhaps for U, who we see leaving the spaceship without a suit. We know the possibility of androids existed in this universe, because like mentioned before, Wyatt explains in the Making Film how he has a scene where he debates between remaining human and becoming an android, so it’s likely U chose to become an android. His code being the only one shown in the MV is a good supporting detail of this.

In this MV, all of them went to school together to become astronauts and do research at space stations. However, it is very likely that they either discovered something they shouldn’t have, or they became C!Hyojin’s target simply by existing (since it’s still unclear if C!Hyojin is employed by someone or not). Either way, the robot-cops we later see again in BB and GB come looking for them, and U decides to sacrifice himself to save the others.

Meanwhile, the others are preparing to send J-Us and MK away with the information or whatever research they were doing, since they are targets now. J-Us makes it out alive and arrives at an ice planet. MK isn’t so lucky. As he’s preparing to leave, a missile destroys his spaceship, with another moving very rapidly towards where Hyojin, Wyatt and E-tion are left. The missile doesn’t collide with the main room, so they have a few more minutes of life until C!Hyojin arrives and finishes them off (as confirmed by the MV director of GB).

J-Us is left alone on the ice planet with the camera MK used to record with. It’s unclear if the camera contained all the important information they were probably trying to protect or just the memories of their days together. Either way, J-Us is left looking longingly at the spaceship he arrived in, which, curiously enough, has the same logo we later see in GB.

Universe 04: The questionable one (Beautiful Beautiful & Goosebumps???)

Here is when you can start accusing me of just speaking nonsense because even I am not sure about this part of the theory. As I said before, BB could perfectly happen before Why, if it wasn’t for a few glaring details that just make it feel like too much of a reach. BB and GB have a very similar feel to them in terms of aesthetic and how advanced the society seems in both videos, so until proven otherwise, we’re going to assume they’re from the same universe.

There’s a few aspects that contribute to this point of the theory, for example the fact that they continue being chased, the existence of drones, the virtual city thing where the car was driving (which U is seen next to in GB so maybe he was driving it), and a few other details like that. So for now, we’ll assume it is the same Universe.

The entirety of BB is an operation to rescue J-Us from the police/government. In a social media teaser we discover he was arrested due to time travel, as it says “The time warp is possible, but the timeline has messed by past travels and classified as the first degree criminal.” Which is also part of the text we see in the news flashing through the MV. We have no idea why J-Us time traveled in this universe but I think it is not relevant for now.

All of ONF are a criminal hacking group, and they’re all wanted, but they manage to evade the police and rescue J-Us flawlessly. In the meantime, it seems like they were focused on hacking the entirety of the city to turn it into the City of ONF, which is why we see E-tion working on a machine that seems to be directly controlling The Cube. When he finishes, everything in the city is covered by the word “Beautiful”.

After this, they have naturally become the most wanted criminals, because why wouldn’t they. Unfortunately for them, C!Hyojin has also made it into this universe, and once again he goes directly for U4!Hyojin. We can’t fully confirm he’s dead, but we do see him falling to the nothingness after breaking through glass so it is very safe to assume that C!Hyojin just pushed him off a building.

It would also be worth noting that U4!Wyatt is having dreams with C!Hyojin, as confirmed by the director in the MV Making. Another fun detail from this is that we get to see U2!E-tion again, as he looks to the camera with a drone right behind him. This might explain his death in SS.

At the end of the music video, we see The Cube being connected to some sort of machine and turning orange. This is very important because before now, The Cube has always been by itself, floating in the sky and acting as a sort of door between universes. It being connected to something means that someone is probably trying to control its potential powers, and I would bet for C!Hyojin or whoever is behind him, if there is someone.

Conclusions

I’m not sure there is a sensible way to conclude this theory because honestly, what even is going on? For now, I’ll try to summarize it in a few points:

There is a blood-thirsty clone of U1!Hyojin running around THROUGH universes killing as many versions as he can for a purpose we don’t know.

It seems that it is possible for one version to have access to memories of other versions.

Androids in this story are created by inserting memories of actual humans into robot bodies.

Someone or something might be trying to control The Cube for their own benefit.
