Here's one i was excited by the whole way through.

it was my first attempt at forging and brazing a more complex guard, i actually ended up burning off the sleeve i forged into the end of the guard as an attachment point for brazing and had to improvise

i also just really love single sided swords, tbh, i think aesthetically they match much more with my mental archetype of "sword", tho there are some cartoony exceptions

this one was also forged from a "house nail", hence its larger size

You know that extremely well-controlled fusion reactor in your 'mech?

yeah what if in a drunken fugue, a pirate siphoned a little bit of the *extremely violent fusion reaction* through most of the parts of a PPC that handle stabilizing the projectile, to produce possibly the least safe weapon they could that violates as many treaties and as much common sense as possible

...this would probably be a "built into the 'mech frame" type of deal, impossible to transfer to a different 'mech since it's not...modular at all?

i wanted to incorporate a plumb-bob type shape into a tiny sword and this was my answer i always imagine dropping it into water and get slight weird satisfaction in imagining that it sinks faster than other tiny swords.. yea its getting weird already here's sword 2#

Ohgod I fucked up

Kitten has a bad habit of waking me up by fucking zooming straight into my face like a furry facehugger. Bad but no amount of flailing and screaming made her stop.

I was laying on my back. Upon being startled I sat up like Rasputin on a pyre and fucking CATAPULTED MY CAT TOWARDS THE WINDOW

WHICH IS GOOD BECAUSE THAT MEANS THE WINDOW WAS AT LEAST CLOSED. IT USUALLY ISN'T.

Anyway kitten is currently avoiding me and I am fighting back a heart attack.

Whether she learns anything from this remains to be seen.

had a goofy ass dream last night that they revealed the lance for mh wilds but they changed a whole bunch of attacks. like you couldn't counter anymore, but they added an overhead slam. and also gave it the ability to fire shots like a rifle. like this

but that's the thing. it wasn't the gunlance. it was still just the lance but it had gun like qualities but it's NOT the gunlance i cannot stress this enough. it's the lance. i woke up mildly pissed off
