If you need ideas for the Temptation snapshots, I've got one. It's Scotty's wedding, Daniel's Kitten is a bridesmaid. She looks stunning in a curves complimenting dress. Daniel can't take his eyes off of her but she doesn't have time for him. She's running around, helping everybody with everything till Daniel decides he can't wait anymore and drags her to the bedroom for a quickie only after that they realise that they've fucked in the newlyweds bed
Temptation Snapshot || DR3 {6}

The Bachelor’s Party/Hen Night Vegas baby! That was the caption to the clip of Daniel arriving in Las Vegas for Scotty’s bachelor party - the two Australians 100 percent ready to unleash hell on Sin City with their close-knit group of friends. At just over 2000 kilometres away, you were boarding a private boat with Chloe in Vancouver as her hen night began far more sedately. While the next 24 hours with the bridal party was all about pampering and enjoying the beautiful views out on the water, the groomsmen were making promises to each other that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Come morning light everyone would start making their way to Venice where the big event was going down - for better or for worse. You had a feeling the boys would certainly be feeling worse.
You were utterly relaxed after a massage and a soak in the hot tub on the top deck with the girls, the stars glittering in the night sky. Chloe’s friends were an endless stream of gossip and it was hard to keep up with their exciting lives until your phone started to vibrate on your sunbed.
“Excuse me,” you apologised as you stepped out of the warm water and saw a facetime call coming in from Danny. “Hey, I thought you would be too busy to call?”
“You should come here, kitten,” he slurred as the camera moved erratically and you heard Scotty’s laugh in the background. “Look,” he tried to pan the video around and you guessed he was somewhere on the strip from all the bright lights. “White Chapel! We could get married right now.”
You tilted your head so you could properly see what he was showing you. “You want me to come to Las Vegas and get married at a White Chapel?” you laughed with a shake of your head. “You know my dad would never forgive you if he didn’t get to give me away.”
“I just want you all to myself, as Mrs Ricciardo,” he whined as the camera turned back to his face and a chorus of whipping sounds erupted from the guys around him. “Fuck off! You’re whipped too.”
“So you admit you’re whipped,” Scotty shouted happily and the call was dropped as they started a little scuffle, more like brothers than friends.
“You have that man wrapped around your finger,” Chloe teased when you slipped back into the steaming water.
“Look who's talking,” you said with a wink and grabbed your drink, raising it up to clink it with hers. “You mastered the art first.”
“I suppose I did,” she giggled before toasting with the circle. “To our boys, and their peak golden retriever energy.”
The Wedding Day Behave,” you warned Daniel when he tried to corner you in the hotel’s corridor. “I’m a woman on a mission so keep your hands to yourself.”
“You know I can’t help it when my kitten gets all bossy,” he chuckled as he pinned you to the wall with his body. “No one will notice if we slip away for a few minutes.”
“Chloe would, since I’m meant to be getting her shoes.”
Reaching into his breast pocket he pulled out a tiny book similar to what you would get when you bought a raffle. Licking the pad of his thumb he started to flick through the pages before humming and ripping a tab out. “Here,” he said as he tucked it into your cleavage. “That is contractually binding too, I might add.”
You fished the paper out and opened it to see it was a comical voucher for a quickie in the nearest room. “I’m sure my lawyer would agree with you,” you joked as you straightened his lapels. “Where did you even get this?”
“I may or may not have stolen it from Scotty’s presents, but I thought it would have been a waste to go to them. I know him and it would end up in the bin before they even went on their honeymoon. So?” His eyes darted to the door beside you and he wiggled his eyebrows. “You look ridiculously sexy in that dress, kitten, and it is doing all sorts of crazy things to me.”
“Well I would hate to get in trouble with the law, since this is contractually binding…”
His smile grew and he tested the door only to growl when it didn’t open, but the next one was left unlocked. “Better make it quick, baby, I have no idea who this room belongs to.”
The spike of adrenaline made you rush to lift your dress and Daniel’s belt snapped open as he shoved his trouser halfway down his tattooed thighs before pulling you onto his lap at the edge of the bed. Your bodies joined with a harmonious moan and you relished the full feeling when you hadn’t been prepared for him, something that rarely happened.
“Fuck, you feel so good, kitten,” he moaned, his hand reaching for your hair before you grabbed it.
“This took two hours, don’t mess it up.”
“Okay, okay,” he obeyed, settling his hands on your hips and using his strength to guide you up and down his cock. You didn’t have the same issue with his hair, the short curls still left untamed, so you dragged your fingers through them as you bounced on his lap.
“You look tired,” you commented before you lost all ability to think, noticing the dark bags under his brown eyes. “Did you conquer Vegas or did Vegas conquer you?”
A smirk played on his lips and he shook his head. “Sorry, kitten, the boys all made a promise. Scouts honour.”
Your head tilted to the side as you stopped riding him. “Is that how it is now?”
“Don’t stop, baby,” he begged as you started to climb off his lap. “Wait, wait, okay.”
“What happened in Vegas, Daniel?” you asked, neither pulling away nor lowering yourself back down him.
“Nothing like you’re thinking,” he muttered.
“Daniel…”
“I may have gotten a little bit shitfaced,” he admitted and you lifted an eyebrow that made him crumble. His head dropped into your cleavage as he confessed, “I was totally off my tit drunk and so was Scotty, and we may have crashed out on the same bed.”
You slipped back down his cock until you were saddled on his lap again. “That’s not bad, why were you trying to hide it?”
“Those assholes took photos of us cuddling and crying together because we missed out girls now can you please move before I start crying again.”
It was a quick jumble of words barely more than a whisper but you caught them, just, and they caught you off guard. In a split second your head was thrown back with a laugh and you cradled him to your chest.
“Fuck me, keep laughing, kitten,” Daniel moaned. “So fucking tight when you do that.”
It drove Daniel wild and he started bucking his hips as you rode him, hitting deeper with each change in the angle until your eyes screwed shut and your heart hammered. You wanted to kiss him like your life depended on it but the makeup hadn’t been set long enough and you weren’t willing to risk smearing the masterpiece.
“I’m gonna cum, daddy,” you whimpered as heat flushed your skin and you pushed through the ache in your legs from the position. Your orgasm ripped through you like a bolt of lightning.
“Fuck, oh fuck, fuuuuck,” Daniel groaned as your cunt gripped his dick like a vice and he filled you with the thick ropes of his cum. “Shit, kitten, you’re gonna kill me with that pretty pussy of yours,” he commented as you climbed off and rearranged your dress into place.
“I think you just need more self-control,” you teased as you looked around the room and froze. There on the table was the white Jimmy Choo box you had been sent to find, next to a plate of delicate handmade chocolates and a neatly written card dedicated to the newlyweds. “Oh shit.”
Daniel looked up from his belt he had rebuckled and saw you grab the shoes from the box, his eyes taking in everything as he came to the same conclusion. “Oh shit,” he laughed, biting his knuckle as the sound grew. He looked back at the bed and quickly swiped a hand across the blankets to smooth out the indents of his ass. “That bed is getting some action today.”

Happy 34th Birthday singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini born January 9th 1987 in Paisley.
Paolo's career started when an artist was late to perform in his school, Paolo was asked by the music teacher to go up and sing a song.
The reaction from the crowd and Paolo’s naturally stunning voice caught the attention of his, soon to be manager who happened to be in the crowd!
A few years later, Paolo had signed with Atlantic and began work on his first album, working with Coldplay and Badly Drawn Boy producer Ken Nelson, Nutini generated an impressive amount of buzz before his first single, "Last Request," was released in the early summer of 2006. He appeared at special Atlantic Records showcases at Carnegie Hall and the Montreux Jazz Festival, as well as opening for the Rolling Stones and Paul Weller. These Streets, was ultimately released in July 2006 alongside his second single, "Jenny Don't Be Hasty." The album fared quite well climbing to double-platinum status and sent four singles into the Top 40. Accordingly, an American release followed in January 2007. In his singing his Scottish accent, shines through, he doesn't try to sing in an American accent like most singers do, Paolo automatically sounded like no one else.
His second album, Sunny Side Up, appeared in June 2009, featuring increased contributions from Nutini's backing band and a bright, sprightly disposition. Sunny Side Up was a number one hit, and one of the biggest-selling albums of the year -- and went on to claim Best Album at the Ivor Novello Awards.
Lately Nutini was living in his home town of Paisley, there has been the odd appearance on Karaoke posted on social media, but little news of any new materials as yet. He did however buy the Chewbacca mask worn by Lewis Capaldi on stage at TRNSMT festival, the original bidder pulled out of the auction. Paolo also donated tent thousand pound to mental health charity Tiny Changes and plans to raffle the mask to raise even more.
The Tiny Changes charity was set up in memory of Frightened Rabbit's front man Scott Hutchison, who took his own life in 2018 after struggles with depression.
A wee Paolo story last year is when he paid for a man’s food shop at Aldi after he’d forgot to bring his wallet. Apparently the embarrassed shopper went to shake Paolo’s hand, to be told: “You can’t do that just now.” There have been swirlings and rumours about a new album, but nothing has been properly confirmed.
The song I have chosen is These Streets, a cracking tune about when he first moved away from Paisley to make his mark in London the the transition, in the song refers to Orchy (Crescent) in Paisley and Glenfield Road.
Cross the border, Into the big bad world Where it takes you 'bout an hour Just to cross the road Just to stumble across another poor old soul from The dreary old lanes to the high-street madness Eye fight with my brain to believe my eyes And it's harder than you think To believe this sadness That creeps up my spine And haunts me through the night And life is good and the girls are gorgeous Suddenly the air smells much greener now And I'm wondering 'round With a half pack of cigarettes Searching for the change that I've lost somehow These streets have too many names for me I'm used to Glenfield road and spending my time down in Ochy I'll get used to this eventually I know, I know Where'd the days go? When all we did was play And the stress that we were under wasn't stress at all Just a run and a jump into a harmless fall from Walking by a high-rise to a landmark square You see millions of people with millions of cares And I struggle to the train to make my way home I look at the people as they sit there alone Life is good, and the sun is shining Everybody flirts to their ideal place And the children all smile as a boat shuffled by them Trying to pretend that they've got som space These streets have too many names for me I'm used to Glenfield road and spending my time down in Ochy I'll get used to this eventually I know, I know These streets have too many names for me I'm used to Glenfield road and spending my time down in Ochy I'll get used to this eventually I know, I know Life is good, and the girls are gorgeous Suddenly the air smells much greener now And I'm wondering 'round With a half pack of cigarettes Searching for the change that I've lost somehow These streets have too many names for me I'm used to Glenfield road and spending my time down in Ochy I'll get used to this eventually I know, I know These streets have too many names for me I'm used to Glenfield road and spending my time down in Ochy I'll get used to this eventually I know, I know

Backpacking the most expensive city in the World, Singapore lat1.3667 long103.8
When we got to Singapore we didn’t know anything about it apart from the fact that it was going to ruin our budget. We weren’t sure if we’d enjoy the city as we tend to have a hard time with big cities but Singapore just blew us away. It is easy to fall in love with the city; the diversity, the food, the parks and oh, there is so much to see!
Getting around the city is pretty easy as the MRT system is quick and covers all important places but a lot of things are actually in walking distance once you’re in the city centre. From Chinatown to Marina Bay for example, it only takes about an hour to walk. However, there are a few things of interest that are a bit more out of the way, for instance the Botanical Gardens. You can just buy a normal metro ticket (can be used up to 6 times) or you can purchase a EZ-link card which costs 12 SGD (including a 7 SGD credit) but gives you a good discount on fares.
We were surprised that Singapore was actually more affordable than we expected. Obviously, you can pay loads of money for drinks and food and expensive tours but if you stick to Hawkers (amazing food courts where you can get all kind of meals for just a couple of dollars), hostels and all the free stuff, you can definitely backpack Singapore.
“Free things to do” is a favourite with everyone and Singapore has got quite a lot of it to offer. Just by walking around the city you can learn a lot about the diverse culture as well as the different heritages. Little India, Chinatown and Arab Street are the three districts not to miss. The names all speak for themselves but here is a little impression of what to expect in each of them and a few ideas on what to do while you’re there :
Chinatown
Food and markets and food and markets. But more importantly, an amazing view of Victorian shophouses in contrast to the impressive skyline of Downtown and the Financial district. Chinatown has it all, there are temples, a Heritage centre, a huge market and, of course, the popular Food Street where you can indulge in the flavours of seafood and/or roasted duck.
Little India
40% of the residents of the State of Singapore are expatriates. But moreover, a large part of the “true” Singaporeans have their roots elsewhere. The majority is made up by Chinese, Malay and - you guessed it - Indians. Although not free, the Indian Heritage Museum is worth every penny if you’re interested in how Indians first came to the city and slowly integrated into and evolved in society.
Kampong Glam (Arab Street)
Last but not least, the muslim district in Singapore is home to the beautiful Sultan Mosque, and a whole bunch of little alleys filled with boutiques, restaurants and bars. Tourists and locals mix in a continuous hustle and bustle creating a joyous atmosphere of selfies, mint tea and tapas. Don’t forget to snap a selfie in Haji Lane and marvel at the beautiful drawings that cover the walls.
If there lives a tiny spark of interest for the Singaporean history and culture in you, those three districts shouldn’t be missed. Each and every one represents a different ethnicity - and therefore a different way of living - all representative of a part of Singapore’s population.
Obviously, you shouldn’t miss Marina Bay with all it’s got to offer either! Take a stroll right through the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel and dream of a holiday you may never be able to afford, walk through the Gardens By The Bay and enjoy the amazing light show (every night at 7:45 pm and 8:45 pm) at the Supertree Grove. The best part is, you can do all of that for free!
Not for free but worth the experience (in our humble opinion) is the Cloudforest - one of the two separate exhibitions that are located in the giant domes. Usually, you only find the combined ticket price online (Cloudforest + Flower Dome for 28 SGD) but when we got to the ticket counter we also had the option of buying a single ticket to either one for 16 SGD!
Once you’ve checked all those things off your list, you can start exploring the city. No kidding.
Walking around the financial district is a must! Get lost between giant skyscrapers, admire the palm trees on rooftop terraces (whaaat) and marvel at different pieces of art spread across the city.
From there it is only a short walk over to Merlion, a creature half lion and half fish that figures as the national personification of Singapore.
One of our favourite walks led across Singapore River and down the Queen Elizabeth Walk past the Raffles Statue, the National Gallery and, eventually, the Esplanade. If you take a left turn at the theatre, you’ll reach the Raffles Hotel and St. Andrew’s Cathedral.
Another hotspot for happy hour drinks or afternoon walks is Clarke Quay. Strategically well placed, this used to be the trade center of Singapore accommodating boats that would then transport goods further upstream.
If you do have a couple of dollars to spare, go on a boat cruise (25 SGD) and enjoy a different perspective of the city.
If you’re lucky enough to be visiting while the sun is shining, don’t miss out on the Botanical Gardens! Wander around, have a picnic or visit the famous Orchid Garden (5 SGD or 1 SGD if you’re a student card holder).
One last thing we’d like to recommend, even though it is not free, is the National Museum of Singapore. Admission is quite reasonable at 15 SGD for adults and 10 SGD for students and it is one of the most interesting museums we’ve been to (and we typically don’t like museums very much). Singapore has an extremely impressive history - a short history as a country considering it only became independent in 1965 - and while the economic and financial developments in the country since its independence are one-of-a-kind, we also enjoyed learning about the cultural evolution throughout the early 20th century.
We absolutely loved Singapore and, as we said in the beginning of this post, it can totally be a backpacker destination. A bed in a dorm can go for as little as 15 SGD and if you avoid bars and restaurants (except for the amazing food stalls and hawker centres obviously) you can certainly get by without heaps of money.

Easter weekend 2019
Hi friends! Happy Monday! Anyone else moving verryyyyyy slowly after the weekend’s festivities? I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Ours was packed with tons of fun:
movie night at the pool with friends
miniature golf with the crew
a wine and barre girls’ night
Easter festivities
and Trevor’s birthday celebration at the fair.
Friday afternoon, Liv had pictures at the dance studio, and then we headed to the pool to meet up with friends. Last summer, we spent almost every Friday night at the pool with them: the adults with margaritas in hand, and the kiddos munching on quesadillas or chicken fingers in between swimming their little hearts out. Sometimes they’ll project movies onto a giant screen. This weekend it was Incredibles 2 and the kids had the best time. It made me feel like summer is officially here.
Our big adventure for Saturday was putt-putt golfing at Golf n’ Stuff, plus arcade games and riding the bumper boats. It’s funny because I used to go to Golf n’ Stuff as a kid, and literally nothing has changed. The weather was perfect for walking around golfing, both kids were into it (No tears of frustration! We made it to the sweet spot), and Liv got not one, but TWO holes in one. Oh hey, tiny Tiger Woods.
Later that evening, I my friend Sam for a wine and barre event at BC Dance. You know, just a casual Saturday night in a tutu, sipping some wine lol.
We enjoyed drinks and appetizers, were fitted for our tutus (heh), the spa next door offered $10 per unit Botox (quite a few of the ladies took advantage of this special and we both totally had a “everyone else is doing it, so maybe we should, too?” moment. In the end, we ended up spectating. I LOVE the idea of a smooth forehead but knowing my luck, I’d be allergic to it or something), they had raffles (I won $50 to Athleta! yeah yeah), and then we took a ballet class from the fabulous Mr. Cory. He is a treasure of a person; so fun and talented. I can absolutely see why his studio is so successful. (Confession: the girls dance at another great studio but after this experience, we’re considering switching over.) We did some work at the barre – I could feel the squandered dancer inside of me break free, just a teeny bit – some turns, and a short combo. It was even more fun with the fact that everyone in the room had enjoyed at least a glass or two of wine at that point. I’m convinced that a couple glasses of wine makes anyone a ballerina.
After class, we walked over to Fleming’s and sat at the bar. We chatted, ate steak, calamari, and veggies, and it was perfect. I got home with enough time to finish prepping the cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning and set out the girls’ Easter baskets before crashing into bed.
The year, they got some candy (the only thing they actually requested), the same flip flops they wore all summer last year (I wish they had these in my size!), swimsuits (Liv got a unicorn and P got a mermaid), books, Kinetic sand, a small stuffed bunny, bunny ears (which they wore all morning), and a toy for each. When they woke up in the morning, they were SO pumped and cute with their baskets,
and couldn’t wait to hunt for eggs outside. Liv was so sweet helping P find eggs, and they they shared the “goods” at the dining room table, swapping chocolate for jelly beans and coins for dollars.
They played with their new toys, ate a ton of candy, I put the cinnamon rolls in the oven, and then we headed to my nana’s house for the classic Easter brunch. I look forward to this pretty much all year. Easter is one of my favorite holidays; there’s not a huge focus on gifts, you get to spend time with the family together, and you can drink mimosas and eat amazing food.
(My dress is here; wedges are from last year butt the brand is Dolce Vita)
Dessert table!
These two kept randomly disappearing inside and totally cleared out every caramel chocolate egg my nana had in a little dish haha.
Kyle, Meg, EJ, and Baby August made it to brunch, too, and everyone loved getting to see the newest member of our family. He’s still so sleepy and snuggly, and smells so, so good. The sweetest.
After brunch, we came back home to relax for a bit and recharge for the evening. Easter coincided with my brother Trevor’s birthday this year, so we headed to the Pima County Fair to ride the rides and hang out with him. The girls pretty much lived their best lives all weekend. <3
This morning, it’s back into the swing of things and starting to get excited because Betsy and the fam are visiting this weekend! We CAN’T WAIT to see them and have some fun Tucson adventures planned. I’m also teaching a spin class later so I need to get a playlist together.
I hope you have a happy Monday and I’ll see ya in the am with a new workout post.
xoxo
Gina

Braving hardships, prospect of demise, report variety of Indians journey the hellish street to American paradise
http://tinyurl.com/y6ajlh6a There have been our bodies, he remembers, rotting alongside the trail by the forest; pilgrims who had fallen earlier than they reached the promised land. The journey had been murderous: fifteen thousand kilometres by air, then 1,800 extra by street; 1,500 kilometres in a leaky fishing boat; 2,900 kilometres caught at the back of vehicles, greater than 100 kilometres tramping by savage jungles. There had been beatings, hunger, and jail camps. Lastly, as he stood within the shadow of a two-metre excessive metal and concrete wall operating throughout the desert, Sandeep Singh realised he’d arrived on the gates of paradise. The demise of a seven-year-old lady final month, who hailed from Punjab, travelling together with her mom as a part of a bunch of 5 unlawful migrants who entered the US of America from Mexico, introduced consideration to the big dangers taken by the a whole bunch of hundreds from internationally who journey to different international locations in search of prosperity. Gurpreet Kaur’s tragic demise, although, is a part of a far bigger story. In recent times, the numbers of Indians paying to be trafficked by central America into the US has exploded. For migrants, paying from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh for a shot at a brand new life is a calculated gamble—but it surely’s a raffle fastidiously arrange in order that traffickers, drug cartels, unscrupulous immigration attorneys and apathetic state police forces at all times win. Yearly, tens of hundreds of vacationers arrive in Ecuador, heading out to the Galápagos islands, the glacier-studded Cotopaxi volcano, the higher reaches of the Amazon. Late on the night time of 17 Might, 2015, when Surinder Singh boarded his flight from Bangalore to Quito, by way of Frankfurt, he had solely good cause to make the journey: the south American nation doesn’t ask Indian nationals for visas—not even these just a few months in need of 18. There was, because the journey agent in Hoshiarpur had promised {the teenager}’s dad and mom, a person ready for him at Mariscal Sucre Worldwide Airport. Mahinder Singh, Surinder’s father, had offered off land to make the passage potential; the household had been assured the Rs 0.25 lakh payment included border-to-border transit. Following an evening in a Quito lodge room, the place he flushed his passport and identification papers down the bathroom, Surinder discovered himself being bussed right down to Guayaquil, gateway to the Galapagos. Then, he was placed on a ship headed north throughout the Pacific, packed into the maintain with some 25 different migrants. “In case you fall overboard”, Surinder remembers the boat’s captain telling them, “I’m not going to fish you out”. “They handed out some beer, to maintain us going by the journey. I drank a whole lot of it”. Mexican police stand in entrance of the border wall between the US and Mexico. Representational picture. Reuters The boat landed on an deserted seashore south of the small city of La Palma in Panama—the spearhead of a wave, although Surinder Singh didn’t understand it then, of greater than 60,000 migrants from internationally, who would cross by the roadless, and lawless, equatorial forest of the notorious Darien Hole. “We camped out on the seashore that night time”, Surinder Singh remembers, “bitten by bugs, not understanding what to do or the place to go”. Then, three guides arrived who would lead them on a brutal, four-day march throughout the mountains and rivers of the Darien. Gangs of armed Colombians and Panamanians—drug traffickers utilizing the identical routes because the migrants—usually attacked the migrants, Surinder Singh remembers. “A gaggle of Indians travelling forward of us”, Singh says, “had all their cash taken away. There was a lady with them, however the attackers didn’t need her cash”. He doesn’t clarify additional. “Each day, we’d see the our bodies of those that had not been capable of sustain”, he says, “Each day, I’d suppose: why I’m doing this”? The group’s information left them on the finish of the trek by the Darien hole, saying he wanted to scout the best way forward. He returned an hour later—main Panamanian border guards. *** Terminal dehydration, so consultants say, is among the many extra light methods to die. Kaur would have stopped sweating, and as her blood stress dropped, she would have misplaced consciousness. The kid, extra probably than not, would have skilled little ache as blood stopped flowing to nonvital organs, such because the kidneys; identified nothing of the dramatic build-up of poisons in her physique, main on to a number of organ failure. Left by his information, a small-time drug runner, in entrance of the concrete-and-steel mesh wall separating the town of El Paso from Mexico, Sandeep Singh had no intention of risking demise by crossing the desert. As a substitute, he walked to the closest United States border guard outpost—and surrendered. Making certain his first steps in the US would contain handcuffs was, in reality, key to the plans crafted by Sandeep’s trafficker in Kapurthala. To immigration officers in Harlingen, within the Rio Grande valley, Sandeep mentioned he was at risk due to his connections to the Khalistan motion. That, in flip, allowed him to file for political asylum, utilizing a lawyer organized by the trafficker. There are not any police data or newspaper data in Kapurthala, a Punjab Police spokesperson advised Firspost, indicating the New Jersey resident, then simply 20 years, had ever been linked to political violence—however then, the asylum system doesn’t contain transnational investigation. In immigration court docket late in 2011, some three months after he was arrested, Sandeep was launched on a bail-bond set at $40,000. The assure was posted by United States residents claiming to be a relative, additionally organized by the Kapurthala trafficker. Let free on situation he put on a satellite-tracking system—ultimately eliminated after he appeared for scheduled hearings—Sandeep succeeded in acquiring permission to work. Harlingen, native information studies counsel, continues to see a gentle stream of Indians, a few of whom start their new life working at native Indian-owned motels. There are others who head to dwell with pals or kinfolk elsewhere in the US, simply as Sandeep did. He now works at a trucking enterprise in New Jersey, and is assured he’ll achieve everlasting resident standing. “I knew it had price my household some huge cash to get me right here”, Sandeep says, “so I lived frugally, sharing a flat with six different boys from Punjab and spending nearly nothing on myself. I labored onerous on development websites, and managed to pay again the Rs 22 lakh my household paid inside 5 years”. “Look”, he says, “I don’t have an schooling, or a enterprise. I may have labored twice as onerous in Kapurthala, however I’d by no means be making the cash I do as we speak”. That is, clearly, logic that appeals to quite a lot of. The USA arrested 8,997 Indians on the south-west border in 2018, up from 2,493 in 2017, and simply 76 in 2007. Indians made up a tiny fraction of the 396,579 unlawful migrants of all nationalities arrested on the south-west border final 12 months—however given the prices and distances concerned, the surge is startling. Kaur’s father—one-time Punjab resident Amardeep Singh—maybe had a lot the identical concept. He arrived in the US in 2013, and like Sandeep, is awaiting the result of a political asylum utility claiming he faces persecution in India. Kaur’s mom, Surinder Kaur, Indian diplomatic sources say, paid traffickers to assist the household reunite. Household land, once more, appear to have paid the traffickers’ charges. From the information, it’s clear the possibilities of an Indian migrant gaining asylum aren’t unhealthy. Forty-two p.c of Indian asylum seekers’ functions heard in court docket between 2012 and 2017 have been rejected—higher than even odds, and no small achievement provided that eight in ten functions from conflict-torn international locations like Haiti and Mexico failed. A part of the reason being that the US’ asylum course of—arguably perversely, for a system meant to defend probably the most weak—advantages those that can entry, or afford, attorneys. Practically half of all asylum functions by people with authorized illustration succeed; 9 out of ten candidates with authorized support succeed. Indian asylum functions are, to these accustomed to the area, usually weird. In a single 2011 case, reviewed by Firstpost, Bharat Panchal claimed he’d fled India due to political violence directed at Hindus in Gujarat. In one other, a 27-year-old girl from Punjab claimed she’d been gang-raped as a result of her husband labored for the Indian Nationwide Congress. There are instances filed claiming to be in danger for supporting Khalistan, for supporting the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering, even for caste-related points. “I will not take their instances anymore”, Texas immigration lawyer Cathy Potter advised the Los Angeles Occasions in 2011. “It undermines my credibility. I do not need something to do with this”. “Acqua Fresca della noce di cocco”, shouts out Harvinder Pal, in Punjabi-accented Italian, “acqua fresca, Coca, birra”. Nobody on the shopping center in New Delhi’s Pitampura space even pauses to look, assuming, not unreasonably, that he’s both drunk or excessive. “I spent three months promoting beer and gentle drinks at a nude seashore”, he says.” I harvested fruits, I labored on development websites and I even made 300 chapatis a day for different unlawful employees from India”. “Each night time, I’d dream that the subsequent day, some lovely, wealthy girl at that seashore would say, ‘Harry, please marry me’. After which, I’d have a visa. Insanity, no?” For a lot of the 20th century, Indians have gone west in quest of wealth. Indus river boatmen who misplaced out when the Lahore-Karachi railroad was constructed within the 19th century, for instance, discovered work as coal-stokers on Britain’s service provider fleet. An ethnic colony of some measurement had begun to evolve within the port of Sydney early within the 1800s, and enclaves of Mirpuris additionally emerged in the UK in the course of the Second World Warfare. Sikhs within the US arrange farms and houses in California, till race legal guidelines stopped their migration in 1907. Punjabis from the Doaba, equally, helped meet the wants of Nice Britain’s factories within the years of business enlargement that adopted 1945. Remittances from these social teams even performed an essential function in facilitating the Inexperienced Revolution—and proceed to be the supply of prosperity and status as we speak. Fragmenting landholdings, the dearth of entrepreneurial expertise, even drug and alcohol points — all these have ensured that a big cohort of small-town younger folks in areas like Punjab, Haryana and even Gujarat merely can’t replicate the successes of their dad and mom’ era. That, in flip, has led some to take extraordinary dangers. Regardless of the deaths of a whole bunch of younger Punjabis, would-be unlawful immigrants when their ship went below within the Ionian Sea in 1996, and the occasional disappearance of travellers in Mexico, the stream continues. Sandeep Singh spent 4 weeks in what he calls Camp I, and one other in Camp IV, after his arrest in Panama—going through beatings from native border guards, earlier than lastly being thrown out throughout the border into Mexico, together with an awesome tide of tens of hundreds of different migrants who merely overwhelmed the nation’s capability to manage again in 2015. Set free of the camp with hundreds of others, he made it to Mexico, and is now working in New York, awaiting the result of his asylum utility. Little has modified since. Tapachula, the primary stopping level in Mexico for tens of hundreds who’ve crossed the Darien Hole, even has eating places serving South Asian meals. Siglo XXI, Tapachula’s migrant detention centre, is holding ever-greater numbers of migrants, below stress from the US—however riots which have damaged out repeatedly by the summer season present overcrowding has now reached not possible ranges. There’s no clear image of precisely what number of Indians are stranded in these camps. Few in them disclose their actual names or nationalities to authorities, for concern of deportation residence. Even when they did, India has little interest in paying for the return of migrants, who in any case haven’t any want to come residence. Contained in the nation, police forces principally ignore human traffickers: the one victims of those criminals are, in any case, enthusiastic volunteers. Little Gurpreet Kaur’s demise ought have some which means, but it surely gained’t: the greenback is a hungry god, and all those that search it set out understanding the worth they could should pay.
I hope you have a happy Monday and I’ll see ya in the am with a new workout post.
xoxo
Gina

Festival Goers
Great Bay Scallop Search
Not your usual wine, dine and relax event, the Great Bay Scallop Search is an annual resource monitoring event.
Organized by Tampa Bay Watch, the event recruits volunteers to snorkel along set transect lines to search for scallops in select areas within Boca Ciega and Lower Tampa Bay. The search needs volunteers with shallow draft boats and limited spots for canoes and kayaks.
Bay scallops are important due to their ability to filter water. They'r extremely sensitive to pollution, thus serving as useful "underwater canaries" to signal changes in water quality.
Bay scallops disappeared from Tampa Bay in the early 1960's due to highly polluted bay water. You can see scallop search counts since 1996 here.
Even if you can't volunteer, it is worth a few minutes of your time to learn about these delightful creatures.
If you think sea turtles have challenges, know that of the 12 million eggs a single scallop releases, only one may survive to adulthood.
Tiny blue eyes along the outer rim of the shell detect movement and serve as an early warning system for scallops.
Although clams may live 40 years, the average life span of a bay scallop is 12-18 months.
An adult scallop can pump as much as 14.7 liters of water per hour by funneling water across open pathways on its gill covers.
Great Bay Scallop Search Helps Count Bay Scallops
Tampa Bay Comic Con
My guess is if you're interested in a Comic Convention, you probably already have the dates for this one on your calendar. In advance. Way in advance. These things are a big deal and attract huge crowds in almost every city that has them. And Tampa is no different.
This event features a roster of comic industry professionals, as well as related celebrities. Exhibitors reflect a wide variety of interests - comic books, toys, games, Star Wars, manga, artwork, clothing, magazines, and, of course, comic books.
2019 dates are August 2-4, 2019. The event is family-friendly and FREE for children. Tampa Convention Center; 333 S Franklin St, Tampa.

How have the charities been selected? We are committed to supporting charities that are meaningful to the cast and crew of Our Flag Means Death, whether they’re ones they have selected for us or have supported through their own fundraising efforts.
We have been in direct contact with Lindsey Cantrell (maker of the Tiny Boats and S2 On Set Dresser), Megan Vertelle (S2 Set Decorator) and Con O’Neill (Izzy Hands), who have all nominated the charities we are supporting in their name.
Additionally, the Tiny Crew Big Raffle team have selected:
• Cure Kids NZ, on behalf of Taika Waititi (Ed Teach / Blackbeard), previously supported.
• Kitten Rescue LA, on behalf of Rhy Darby (Stede Bonnet), which he currently supports through kitten fostering, and donated a signed cast photo to their recent fundraising auction.
• World Central Kitchen, on behalf of David Jenkins (Pirate Daddy), which he has supported on IG.
Why only 7 and not a charity for each of the main cast? Honestly, we'd have loved to. The Our Flag Means Death cast and crew have supported so many great charities, but, we want to raise a meaningful amount for the ones chosen for this raffle. == Love Notes ==
Hey there lovelies. I hope you know just how much you mean to one another. One of the big things that came from people leaving twitter and joining other platforms, is how much love that's been going around. I've seen quite a lot of people mentioning just how much OFMD has meant to them and their families in case they couldn't find folks on other platforms, and it's been so very heartwarming.
I've also seen some pretty scary things... and people banding together to help each other. I know sometimes it's hard to see when we're in the thick of it-- but we really are stronger together. Even if everyone doesn't always get along fandomwise-- you all step up when things are tough, and that's what crew is all about, and it's beautiful.
You're beautiful.
Remember to be kind to yourself no matter what happens today. You deserve the same kindness you give, even when you don't have it in you that day. Take care lovelies, be well.

It’s hard to believe it has been exactly one year since the first 3 episodes of Season 2 premiered, but it's bittersweet without Season 3 on the horizon. However, the #TinyCrewBigRaffle duo are big on turning poison into positivity and want to celebrate the giddy highs of this time last year by bringing our best news yet! Yes, you read that correctly. We have been working hard and now have 7 Tiny Boats, all of which will be part of the Raffle. Details on how to enter will be posted tomorrow.

I hope you have a happy Monday and I’ll see ya in the am with a new workout post.
xoxo
Gina
