I have some unfortunate news

I have gotten a new PC recently and I ported the old tinkle-fingers game file over to my new one via flashdrive. My idiot self accidently deleted the right game files when I put my old memory card in. I will do my best restoring it but I will say its probably not gonna be the same. That being said development will be on pause for a while. At least new development.

But please don't share too much sympathy for me. I don't need it. I promise I will do my best recreating it. hopefully better than it was.

Hello everyone

Yesterday I tested positive for COVID-19. That on top of school and restricted bedtime I haven’t been able to work on Tinkle-fingers. I can promise that i will try to get some work done when my health is better and I get overdue homework done.

Tinkle-fingers progress report #3

Great news! The main menu is done! kinda.. I might change some things in the future. I also got the theme done! nothing fancy but yknow its still a theme

It's a relief to get that over with. earlier this month I was on face time with Evan (Another member of the team) And I said I wanted to make a main menu.. It's been like 4 weeks and august is almost over..

Shout out to Retro Cemetery Gaming for their tutorial

And Missing Mildred Official for their tutorial on putting music in the game.

Tinkle-Fingers is coming along great and I'm so excited to finally share it with you guys when it's done. To anyone out there who reads my blog posts I wanna say thank you! Anything helps.

Tinkle-fingers progress report #2

I wasn't lying when I said I might change it. Not majorly buuuuttt.... it seems major.. Also if you are wondering, yes this is gonna be similar to the beginning of cry of fear how simon talked about how lonely he was before the cutscene of the city.

Soon I will be working on character design. I'm too lazy to actually code at the moment LOL...

Some point (Very very far into development) I will work on rotoscope cutscenes like in faith. That's gonna be a lot of tracing... Jeez I don't know what program I'll use

Tinkle-fingers progress report

Hello! I doubt anyone will ever be seeing this but I wanted to give a quick update on how far I am in. First of all I'm finished with the first room. Puzzles aren't coded yet but I am working on the menu as we speak.

I am also going to code in voice acting here soon. but before I do that I will infact code the puzzles. Yes I will upload a demo when ready. Tribulation signing off the tribunation..... that was so corny...

234mg of caffeine surprisingly didnt give me the side effects I expected. No jitters, No high blood pressure, My heart beat sped up a bit but my daily coffee does that too

Stuff to get off my chest

Hey guys! Yes I’m still here.. I didn’t abandon this page.. I just want to say that I’m sorry that I haven’t done any work on tinkle-fingers for quite some time but I promise I have a good reason.

In October I was officially moved in to my new house and I still have boxes left to unpack which hasn’t really given me much time to work. I’ve also gotten behind in school stuff so I have to do that before I get to my own projects. Theres also someone who has been coding the inventory system because.. well.. I know nothing about coding and tutorials didn’t fit the little sketch I had drawn in MS paint. And because he’s still working on the inventory I haven’t necessarily been able to work on it due to the fact that everything else in the game relies on items. But once I get this inventory I will do nothing but work!

I’ve been thinking about some rebranding too. I feel that I get too much inspiration from other creators that I’m basically a rip-off. I mean… Tribulation “Team”???… I’m one guy..

So definitely expect that

And regarding the FAITH like gameplay. I’m thinking changing most of what I planned for tinkle-fingers. Like I’ll still do things like rotoscoping but I’ll give it my own little spin or something. And maybe I’ll come up with more game mechanics but we never know until then.

Tinkle-Fingers Update #2

Henry got a bit of a haircut and went clothes shopping!

Goodbye fingerless gloves and hoodie

I trimmed his arm a bit cause it was poking out (It was annoying me)

Also I've reached over 20 hours on game maker! all spent on Tinkle-Fingers

This game has evolved so much. From an inside joke between me and my brother. To a actively worked on 2D horror game! When I think its ready enough I promise I will upload the demo to itch.io

Also Evan moved near by to where I'm moving soon so that's cool LOL.
