As promised, I have rewritten the very first chapter of Iedreth's story, something I've been meaning to do. I will also link the original, which will not be receiving updates any longer, as I want it to retain it's original feeling, without feeling like I have left the story completely behind.

Purpose Revamp/Rewrite

Hello my lovely GW2 followers!

This is just a PSA, and a reminder to myself, that I am looking to revamp or rewrite Purpose, a story about one of my Sylvari from well... quite some time ago. I've been going through the story again in Maguuma, and I recently reread what I had completed of Purpose in its entirety. That being said, it's in need of some... attention, some fluffing up. And though I'll likely leave the original on Fanfiction.net, the new and improved version will be uploaded to Ao3 over time, and I will post the updates as such on here as well. May you all look forward to it!

Had the wonderful pleasure of commissioning @spindlewit for a couple pieces of these two!

Commander Quaille (asura, mirror pronouns) and Terizzi (sylvari, she/her) are a patchwork couple who've been haphazardly figuring things out together, but in the long run they're so sweet and an island of stability for each other in everything.

The first piece is a tender kiss I've wanted to capture for a while, the second is a more specific moment within their story just before a relationship started sparking, and Spindle captured both so beautifully. It's always such a delight to work with them!

Name: Karreia Frostfist

Race: Asura

Age: 19 human years

Personality: Playful, intellectual, inquisitive, and fond of exploration, she hangs out with her best friend, a Sylvari necromancer with a penchant for centaur killing, and does research on quantum energy storage in her free time. Always looking for new ways to cause any sort of mayhem, laughing all the way.

Likes: Things with enough spice to need water, Swimming, science(duh) exploration, her raptor (whom she has dubbed "frosty") and her bestie Koissan.

Dislikes: People with loud opinions (Looking at you, inquest, you're not cute.) and centaurs, they creep her out.

Profession: Guardian

Secondary Professions: Weaponsmith

Weapon Preference: Spear, Axes, Torches, and maces. Dabbles in a little longbow.

Introducing my gw2 character, Rhys Mal an undead sylvari who uses necrotic magic to keep himself alive. In life he was experimented on where foreign organic material was fused with his own, allowing him to be risen as an abomination by Zhaitan’s necrotic magic, as well as ‘awaken’ from the mother trees sweet song.

1. Are they a Dreamer or Soundless? What's their relationship with the Pale Mother and Ventari's teachings? If the first, have they ever thought about leaving the Dream behind? If the latter, why did they make that choice?

2. How much do they remember from the Dream? Did they have any particular experience in it before awakening?

3. Do they have a Wyld Hunt? Did they complete it?

4. How was their awakening? Did something particular happen? What's their first memory?

5. Are they from the first batch of Secondborn or did they awaken at some later point? What's their opinion on the Firstborn?

6. What did they do after leaving the Grove? Did they feel a particular call or did they just roam and explore Tyria? Would they still feel at home if they went back?

7. What was their first experience with other races? How did it impact them?

8. Do they fit well into sylvari society or are they more at home with other races? How do they feel about fellow sylvari? Do they have any particular sympathy or antipathy for other races?

9. Do they have a job/occupation? Why did they pick that? Did they ever change it? Are they happy with it or are they aiming for something else?

10. What are their hobbies and pastimes? Do they have any natural talent or particularly strong interest? Was it something they knew from the Dream or did they develop it once awakened?

11. Have they ever changed their own appearance? Was it intentional or due to external factors? Did it affect their glow as well? How long did it take? Would they ever change back?

12. What do they usually wear? Do they prefer regular clothes or growing "clothes" out of their bodies?

13. How do they feel about death? Does it make them curious or scared? Do they wish to understand it or do they simply accept it?

14. What do they think of the Nightmare Court? Would they ever join it? What would make them do so? / What made them join them? Would they ever leave it?

15. What are their feelings on their race being minions of the Jungle Dragon? What's their attitude towards those who turned? How do they feel about the shift in perception of their people from other races?

16. Where were they when the call of Mordremoth struck? Did they hear and follow it, or did they resist it?

17. If they were to turn into Mordrem, what would they look like? Would they manage to turn back? / When they turned into Mordrem, how did their appearance change? Did they manage to fully turn back?

Most of you will be familiar with my Pact Commander/Wayfinder/woman of many titles and Mesmer Eileria. Here's a bit more about her! (Also introducing her most recent art, 4 new PNGtubers xD)

Name: Eileria Cloud

Race: Sylvari of Night.

Age: 14 human years.

Personality: Stoic and calculated, kind-hearted but fronts coldly more often than not, Analytical and able to make very informed, quick decisions regarding just about anything. Militarily brilliant, mesmer magic withstanding, and very tactical when approaching problems. Fiercely loyal and caring for those she cares about and loves.

Likes: Hot springs, her wife, intense battle scenarios, practicing mesmer magic.

Dislikes: Politics, Espionage and infiltration, pretty much anything that attempts to deceive rather than just approach directly.

Profession: Mesmer.

Secondary Professions: Tailor, Weaponsmith

Weapon Preference: Spear, Axes, pistols, greatsword, Staff, and Swords.

Race: Sylvari of Dawn cycle

Age: 2 Human Years

Personality: Bubbly and naive, Paquerette is still new to life, new to Tyria, and well, new to everything! Eager to explore, to see and enjoy everything around her, she is always asking questions, always seeking knowledge and ever getting into mischief, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Her attitude may her her into trouble now and again, but her naivety and innocence usually gets her out.

Likes: Savory foods, botany, research, reading, and exploration.

Dislikes: Rudeness, the smell and texture of oil, Krait.

Profession: Necromancer

Secondary Professions: None

Weapon Preference: Axe, scepter, and greatsword.

Name: Bonsai Shatterstep

Race: Sylvari of a Sister Seed to the Pale Tree near Cantha. Born during the cycle of Dawn.

Age: 7 Human Years.

Personality: Brash and sometimes egotistical, He's a powerful Mesmer and he knows it. While he does help out those who need it, he's more like to do so for some sort of incentive, or fame, that might make him more well known. Because he was not born of the Pale Tree, he does not have any ties to the Dream most Tyrian Sylvari are used to. During Mordremoth's assault, he spent a good amount of his time fighting the whispers from far away, easier to resist so far away in Cantha as he had been.

Likes: Sweet things, raptors, magic, being important, praise, and the color purple.

Dislikes: Hot and spicy things, imbeciles, anything that requires manual labor.

Profession: Mesmer.

Secondary Professions: Tailor.

Weapon Preference: Spear, Dual Swords.
