If they had existed when Rocky and Freckle were kids, no doubt stepping on Lego bricks would have been a highlight of Nina’s everyday routine.

According to Lego Group, the toy company launched in 1932 making wooden toys, and Legos as we would recognize them today came about in the late 1950s.

In the 1910s, Erector Sets, Tinkertoys, and Lincoln Logs were newfangled kids toys that you might say were the spiritual predecessors of Legos. Rocky and Freckle would have eagerly had their paws on those.
