The Track of a Storm

Bastille Day, 1995

We grieve for the twelve trees we lost last night, pillars of our community, old friends and confidants dismembered in our sight, stripped of their crowns by the unruly winds. There were no baskets to receive their heads, no women knitting by the guillotines, only two sleepers rousted from their beds by fusillades of hailstones on the screens. Her nest shattered, her battered hatchlings drowned, a stunned and silent junko watches me chainsawing limbs from corpses of the downed, clearing the understory of debris while supple saplings which survived the blast lay claim to light and liberty at last.

d20 twitter is crazy bc i think they hate the players???? like atp i think they just don’t like their sense of humour and like very potentially maybe don’t know how dnd works bc i think anyone else would get their decisions on the princesses. reasoning with the princesses would be down to rolls that destiny’s children could not clear they are bad socially. also like why do they get to decide that everyone is destroyed like they’re like 6 ppl??? the players’ plan of everyone getting part of a true book gives them control like yh ig if u wanna stop existing dip it in ink but why tf do we all have to get drowned in ink????

neverafter and a starstruck odyssey have had these treatments of being dnfed and hated on in ways that end up as critiques of like the players’ personalities which i hate. norman was created to be brainslugged. he wasn’t a shitty guy bc he got screwed over he was a shitty guy and he got screwed over. the princesses were created to show the party that they didn’t want to completely erase the neverafter. it would be easy to ally with the princesses over the fairies: we don’t want to go back so let’s start over. but the princesses are blinded by pain and want to use that to excuse the apocalypse. they have sympathy for them and maybe if they’d been luckier with the dice they could have reasoned with them but the dice spoke lol.

i have more opinions but imo neverafter slaps and is worth watching and i love my millennials sm

The Divine - Character Line Up

This project has been super fun, and stressful, but mostly fun lmao. It's basically a bunch of things I rarely do, such as drawing everything digitally from the start, drawing male bodies, drawing full bodies, fucking shoes, the list goes on. While there are things I could have done better I am super happy that I pushed through I saw this to completion !

I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do !

The back of Timothy's champion shoes have little bows, like the ones on his gloves. Why ? Because I said so.

Because I never draw digitally from start to finish, I usually make traditional sketches beforehand, the anatomy is slightly off

Done watching Neverafter. I honestly loved it and the characters. The story in itself is not perfect and it could have explored some things more but the concept itself? It's hands down my favorite of all the campaigns I have watched on d20.

I am a sucker for twisted fairy tales and horror elements and seeing all these fairy tales turned on their head and becoming more and more corrupted was so much fun. I wish we could get more from this world before the good ending just so we could see more of those insane sets and elements. The ending was nice and I am not mad about it. I think that they deserve the chance to tell their own stories after the awful things they went through. I would not have minded the bad ending either but the dice decides the story and I will take it.

The characters and the concept were the strongest part of this campaign for sure.

To no one's surprise Red's story was the best part of it to me and brought me to tears multiple times. (I made peace with crying at least once per campaign whenever Emily cries)

Shout out to the sweet moment at the end with Rosamund taking the little girl's hand because Siobhan's softness and sweetness is killer every time. And also to Pib stealing back everything the Baba Yaga took because it was the only way it could have gone like that was the most perfect final move from Pib. Zac kills it as a little cat.
