Shoreline Trails from TS2 Console
This colorful 2023 makeover was really fun to do! In my save, Timmy is lazy, Timmy is clumsy, he hates fitness and yet he wants to become a bodybuilder. Farah will be an enthousiatic wellness coach while Torin would yell at you.
Farah Moonbiscuit : (YA)
“ Inventor of the wildly popular "Abdominal Catapult" technique, Farah Moonbiscuit topped this earlier success by building a national chain of holistic gymnasiums that promote her philosophy of Sadistic Harmony. ”
Timmy Tool : (YA)
“ Timmy knows excellence and he knows he ain't got it, but when life gives Timmy a lemon, he takes the lemon and makes lemonade. The lemonade is terrible, but it's still lemonade. ”
Torin Namaste: (YA)
“ Torin doesn't think he's better than you. He knows he's better than you. Torin has heavily invested in perfection, and your humiliation represents a return on his investment. ”

Ah yes, the iconic Shoreline Trails from The Sims 2 Console. It was my second favorite lot from that game, with Cliffside Retreat as my most favorite. I decided to recreate it in The Sims 4 alongside its residents.

Lost in the woods
Tumblr media
"I asked someone to hold a VERY unstable Time Piece while I went to go fetch my tools from my room (I wanted to attempt fixing the Time Piece before anything bad happens) until Mustache Girl and Timmy started fighting over who should hold it.
They dropped it; obviously. and now where HERE! In the middle of a random forest! I don't even know if we're in the past, future OR SOME OTHER DIMENSION! Thanks a lot guys >:T" - HK --- --- ---
I was supposed to post this a while ago, But now I am! I've had a Gravity Falls X AHIT crossover thought for a while now, so I decided to draw it! Even more due to the revived fandom recently <3 I originally did the sketch in 2023 but I never really started on it, SO NOW I HAVE >:) Hope you enjoy this little hypothetical AU!

Let’s talk potential: the specialists.
Why isn’t the potential of the boys explored and they go different routes? Surely, the Red Fountain doesn’t teach each the same and produces what we have now? Why are they different but end up doing mainly the same? The Specialists are not all the same guy with the same skills and aspirations. Let’s talk about some ideas I had.
Timmy. He is a technician, an inventor and a scientist. Among his skills are providing new technology, knowing enough about weaponry to easily build it and planning strategies for even the trickiest of situations. Mainly uses long-ranged weapons.
While appreciative of magic and impressed by the instincts of the others, he is going with logic and technology. He is responsible for upgrading but is also a walking arsenal. A multi-tool able to be easily transformed into a weapon of choice.
Timmy usually mans the aircrafts or uses higher grounds to attack. He knows his weaknesses and has created a battlesuit, similar to D.va, Iron Man or the Brotherhood of Steel armors.
Carries his multi-tool, a drone, a ranged weapon that can go from bow to rifle, special glasses to scan surrounding and a watch that activates his battlesuit.
Brandon. From the beginning, we know that he is a squire. His goal is to be a knight. One day, perhaps even the champion of Eraklyon (or Solaria?). His path started at the age of 7 where he was made a page in the court of Eraklyon. He was quite promising leading to him being trained by the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. Together with Sky, of course. At 14, he graduated to being a squire. His good grades, extraordinary skills and close relationship to Sky got him a place at Red Fountain. A man made for the battlefield, Brandon seeks to be an elite soldier.
To win against every opponent and be prepared no matter what, he possesses a basic degree of familiarity with all weapons and fighting styles. However, he concentrates and specializes on one weapon as well as mastering one combat technique to perfection - staying loyal to his phantoblade and sticking with swords.
While Brandon himself has no issues with magic, he had the goal to be a Knight of Eraklyon which means he uses non-magical weapons. (Perhaps Radius or Luna give him a legendary sword of Solaria with the power of the sun, stars and moon as an engagement gift) He is physically the strongest of the specialists (berserker-like strength) and resilient to certain kinds of magic using the force of his body.
Sky. He is a future king. Therefore, he is taught the basic fighting skills and such, but the main focus of his curriculum is diplomacy and strategy. One day, he will be the highest commander of military and security in his land solely by being the leader of said country. Knows the strength of the boys inside and out. Versatile but not as powerful as the others. Regularly training how to handle situations such as kidnappings or assassinations attempts. He can’t be as strong as the boys, he missed out a lot of training due to his classes on Eraklyon and state visits.
Sky is not useless. He is meant to lead this group and that’s what he does. Not by running first into action but knowing who is able to do what and when. Of course, he can defend himself but his girlfriend is literally the strongest fairy known and he is surrounded by the best of the best. Besides his sword, he has his hoverboard, his shield and his boomerang.
Riven. A survivor who had to rely on being cunning and stealthy. Who analyzes the vulnerabilities of his enemies to hit them hard and hides his own well because of that. But he also adepts fast to his surroundings. Maybe not one with nature but knowledgeable enough to hide himself and find others. With the help of Nabu, he finds himself positively connected to magic and knows that it is the magic user, not the power itself. That said, Riven uses magical weapons. He prioritizes subtleness and rather strikes once but hard. Keeps using a scimitar, but has a bunch of daggers hidden. His belt is full of smoke bombs, his bolas, toxins and even some explosives (like Batman). Interpret it however you want, but he mainly uses shadow-based and darkness-based magical weapons. That makes him a tiny bit proficient in this type of magic.
While Brandon knows the most fighting techniques, Riven has a broad range of skills. Picking locks, climbing, disarming traps, improvising weapons, detecting traps, becoming one with the shadows, tracking beings and such.
Helia. Related to one of the greatest wizards, Helia has a strong connection to magic. He also spends a lot of time with himself and mediating. The harmony between his body and mind helps him channeling his magic into attacks and more importantly: defense techniques. He stays true to himself and will always choose defending himself and others above attacking. That includes restraining and disarming enemies. Helia is trained in all martial arts and only has basic knowledge of weapons. Replacing his glove with a magical rope which is like the lasso of truth (Wonder Woman) but also a dart rope and a whip of sorts, because it can sense his intentions and emotions transforming into what he needs. Furthermore, his knowledge of the energy in his own body helps him to strike beings in the most powerful way like Ty Lee’s Chi-blocking (Avatar). Hitting the right weak point of a magical being can block their magic for a while or stop spells/attacks/whatsoever.
Nabu. He is alive and well.
Like fairies and witches, wizards share a scholarly approach to magic. Depending what path they choose, they can focus on their own affinity or master as many spells as possible, that’s what Nabu does. Reading about abilities, he can practice them and later use them. Some are connected to artifacts, books or scrolls. While his staff amplifies his natural power, it can also help channel his magic.
Simply said: He can do almost anything. However, he often needs a source for it. Nabu’s powers are illusion-based, which means the source for those abilities is literally him. If he wants to use a spell of another element, he has to find a magical source of it. Funnily enough, the Winx count. Often in fights, he will grab Bloom’s shoulder and scream “Fireball!”. His staff is a source too but I haven’t decided what type of power it carries - this  needs continuation (and he needs a revival).
Specialists. They have their own dragons still but I would like them to have different dragons. We only see them with their own dragons at Red Fountain and I would like them to have these as practice and later tame their own - which should be different types! It doesn't need to be a dragon. It could be a griffin or even a hydra! It could differentiate specialists between magic and technology user.
(if you think, they are all very similar to DND classes: that’s what I based it on. Timmy is an artificer, Brandon is a fighter, Riven is a rogue/ranger, Helia is a monk and Nabu is still a wizard. Sky exists? I am sorry, Sky-fans. He is a king at least?)

Little things the Freedom Pals do for a New Kid!Reader during and after a battle.
Part one with Raccoon and Friends: ☆here☆
@everythingwasnormalhere, this part two was inspired by your comment!
Tumblr media
Professor Timmy:
☆ Professor Timmy can't often get to you in a timely manner if dangers coming your way, but he makes up for it with his stellar ability to communicate via his mind. It's a lot harder for someone like Tupperware or Wonder-Tweak to yell across the battlefield and be heard amidst the heat of battle. However, seeing as he speaks in your mind, it's infinitely easier for him to warn you of an incoming attack or a more strategic maneuver to take down enemies.
"On your left, New Kid! Brace for impact, I'll provide assistance shortly."
☆ Professor Timmy likes to let you in on his plans first, even letting you be one of the first to see his incredible franchise plan.
"This will be the end to our struggles, if only the Raccoon and Friends agree to your terms..."
Tupperware:
☆ He's got some pretty intense armor, so a lot like Captain Diabetes, he's willing to rake a few hits for you in the battlefield. Just... not too many, he doesn't want to bang up his mother's Tupperware.
"Watch out New Kid, coming through with the Tupperware tornado!"
☆ He doesn't have any food or snacks to share after the battle, given that he's wearing everything you'd usually store food in. Luckily, he's got money, so post-battle if you wanna hang out, he'll gladly head to an arcade or take you to the Dispensary/KFC.
"I'm hungry, you hungry, New Kid? Let's get outta here."
"Ey! I want KFC to you son of a bitch! New Kid, get back here!" Raccoon yells.
Wonder Tweak:
☆ He's usually too focused on... tweaking out during battle to actually worry about healing teammates, but he's on it once the heat of the battle has died down. He'll check on professor Timmy and the others, his anxiety getting the better of him once hes no linger focused on his own survival. He'll patch you up, and try to calm you with the things he remembers Craig telling him (though he'd rather not talk about his Raccoon and Friends counterpart right now.)
"I-its gonna be okay, ah! Hold still, I'm gonna put on this band-aid, a-ah! Get a snack to heal, UNLESS YOU'RE ALLERGIC?!"
☆ He understands the importance of a support system, so whether you're an ex-member of Raccoon and Friends or just joined because of the causes message, he makes sure you have a space in the Freedom Pals base. He's got a corner where he goes to de-stress, and it's his personal space to fix himself up post-battle. He'll drag an extra bean-bag chair over for you, and offer to let you hold Stripe if he's got him for the night.
"Ack, here. He's great for after a big f-fight, he can sense i-inner turmoil!"
Toolshed:
☆ He's got an eye on you, always prepared to help, but... in all honesty, he just likes to watch you. Whether you're fierce and powerful or a little more of an assist type, he's always impressed by your ability to hold your own. He's gets a little more than flustered, but in the heat of battle he's actually less worried about complimenting you, hoping you'll just write it off as team members cheering each other on.
"Yeah! Sock it to them, New Kid! I'm here for you- we're here for you. The-the team is here for you, the Freedom Pals are, not me specifically-"
"Toolshed, keep your hormones under control during the battle, we must stay focused." Professor Timmy says, immediately causing Toolshed to turn green and move across the battlefield as far as possible from you.
☆ Please don't ignore him for any of the other guys, he's knows his powers are more tool-based and a little more generic, but he's not gonna feel very good about himself if you follow around Mysterion or heaven forbid, a member of Raccoon and Friends. He's still upset about Kyle not switching over. In order to prevent this, he makes sure you know what a good choice it was to be a member of this franchise instead. He'll show off there awesome base, and constantly mention how well the team did in battle, all in the hopes of keeping you around.
"I bet you never won a battle that quick when you were a Raccoon friend, huh? Not that you couldn't, I mean cause you had shitty teammates! Like... like Kite..."
Mysterion:
☆ He's technically a member of the Freedom Pals, but more often than not he works alone. He's usually described as mysterious, or creepy, even brutal, but the number one word you can use to describe him is 👏 PROTECTIVE 👏! None of the many bad guys that stalk the streets of south park are gonna get the jump on you, don't worry.
"Hey asshole!" A growly voice comes out from the shadows as a pounding sound hits the alley dumpster. "Get ready to feel the swift, ribbed fist of justice!"
☆ He's quick to depart post battle, not taking time to celebrate. He's got real justice to go serve, but... ever since you joined the team, he's been more hesitant to rush off. Still, doesn't mean he's great at figuring out how to socialize amongst the team. He just kind of... stands in the shade under the staircase that leads into the basement and broods. He kinda hopes you think it's hot.
"Oh, hey. Just thinking about giving those mob assholes what's coming to them..." He bites his lip, brows furrowed under his cowl as he tries to come up with a conversation piece that's not as harsh or violent as he uses with others. "I uh- did I ever tell you I have a sister? I think you'd like her..."

Janet soon to be Drake, during her bachelorette party, tripped through a time portal, as one sometimes does in Gotham, and lands at another party. She's just buzzed enough not to realize she's not in the right time period, especially since Fashion in Gotham leans towards the vintage anyway and masquerade and fancy dress parties are very popular anytime of the year except Halloween.
Janet meets a very charming man and has one last fling. Janet ends up returning to her own time while she's puking in the bushes, not that she was ever aware that she ever left her normal time.
Janet gives birth a shockingly short time after the wedding. Jack gets many elbows and pats on the back while Janet gets many side eye looks because double standards.
Neither Jack nor Janet ever have any reason to think that their new baby is the product of anyone but themselves.
Fast forward about eighteen years and an investigation reveals that Tim Drake is the son of one Patrick Wayne aka the father of Thomas Wayne aka Bruce Wayne's grandfather.
Tim is Bruce's uncle thanks to time shenanigans.
This is absolutely hilarious!
Jason, as a joke, starts referring to Tim exclusively as "Uncle Timmy." To Tim's horror, this catches on with the rest of the batkids.
Now Tim is conflicted cause he absolutely hates the nickname, but even Damian uses it in a teasing yet fond manner.
Duke is the one point out that technically, Tim is older than Bruce. Since Tim was created before Bruce was, this means Tim has seniority. Hell, Tim might be as old as Alfred.
This causes Tim to have several mental breakdowns and identity crises.
This also causes the Batkids to start buying Tim "old people" gifts, such as knitting tools, butterscotch, and medical devices. Some of the compression shit Tim actually uses, but he almost strangles Jason when he gets a LifeAlert device.

Would the Hazel puppet we see in a few of the shows episodes be a kind of very basic changeling? Its obviously made out of way less unwishes than Chimmy but the similarities are too striking to be ignored.
Tumblr media
YES! YES IT ISS.
Hazel's puppet is a very basic changeling. So basic, that it's only purpose is to complete one specific set of actions. When those actions are done, it disappears! It's quite literally and physically a sock puppet.
The differences between Hazel's changeling and Timmy's changeling is that their lifespans and construction is different. They serve different purposes.
Bitties Series: [Start] > [Previous] > [Next]
More information about changelings that's ultimately just world building ramblings. Lotsa paragraphs.
Hazel's changeling is short lived, low on unwishes, and more specific to the job.
Her changeling is a one-and-done tool. It only has to do one thing. "Distract the Teacher." "Distract the Mother." So it doesn't need a lot of unwishes, it just needs enough to do its job! As a result, it is made of low quality cloth, it can't verbalize, and it doesn't make its own actions.
Hazel's changeling favors Perceptional Magic. This is why Mr. Guzman doesn't recognize that Hazel's changeling isn't Hazel. He can't see that it's made of felt and sticks. It's constantly pooling out perception magic to warp how its being viewed.
For this reason, the changeling doesn't actually need as much connections as Timmy's does. It can exist by itself, or with Hazel, so long as it has just enough Unwishes to keep it alive. Maybe not stable, but, alive.
By contrast, Timmy' changeling is on the opposite end of this spectrum.
Timmy's changeling is a continuous tool. It must persist and adapt and grow. "Go to school" "Get a job" "Find a partner". It needs many unwishes to face many situations and scenarios. So the changeling has a more difficult build.
The magic it favors is different. Timmy's changeling requires Environmental Magic. People see it for how it looks. It has human skin and can speak the human tongue. But what it requires is a suitable environment. Otherwise, people will know it for what it is. Wooden and hollow.
The more developed and high-tech the Changeling is, the less it's recommended for it to see it's real counterpart. The bigger the amount of Unwishes, the more you want it to be stable and calm. Especially when that changeling's job is "Be Human".

This is maybe a mundane observation but it’s interesting to me the way a system of extensively theologians divine reward and punishment not only distorts moral reasoning in undesirable ways, but renders it incoherent. It’s one thing for your Iron Age society to deal with the problem of evil by saying the scales are balanced by divine fiat after death. That is a pretty appealing patch to the patently unjust experience of living in the world. But the theological elaboration of this rule under more elaborate soteriologies—including with the endless temptation to use them not just as a comfort but as a tool of politics, and harmonizing them with traditional cultural narratives—produces unintuitive results: things which carry no obvious moral valence have to have it added, or their moral valence has to be heightened (or even inverted!) against intuition, in order to keep the elaborate framework in which they are now embedded functioning. Concrete example: it is very, very funny to me when evangelical Christian literature tries to end with some big moral lesson, especially when it’s explicitly proselytizing literature, that makes no goddam sense unless you are already deeply steeped in the evangelical theological worldview. Like those Chick tracts that end “The WORST sin, little Timmy, worse than lies or theft or murder, is man trying to set himself up as God!” Like… okay, pride is bad, your potential convert may be thinking. But what does that even *mean*? How is that relevant to *my* life? And why is pride(?) a worse sin than murder? Catholics also have a problem where they do this with sexual ethics: the occasional Catholic theologian has gotten themselves so twisted about they end up arguing masturbation is worse than rape. That’s pretty repellent to modern moral intuitions! That’s gonna be a real hard sell to anybody who is not the particular flavor of hopped-up-on-natural-law Platonist that you only find in the deep crevices of Catholic theology. And this makes a nonzero amount of sense: most efforts at proselytization seem to me to really to be efforts at boundary maintenance, with the occasional convert as a secondary benefit. But I do wonder if deeply religious types ever notice that—never mind just having very different values—they actually struggle to even communicate their own values effectively to ppl in other contexts they’re in dialogue with.
