Timmy Failure has ASD
I realize I say this about a lot of my favorite characters, but hear me out. Timmy Failure (yes that’s his last name) is an 11 year old boy that lives with his single mother and has dreams of being a world famous detective. He also has autism. “High functioning” autism, if you will, but autism nonetheless. Here are my observations to back up this claim:
* He has only a handful of “friends,” mostly people he is cordial with at school. But no one he really spends time with besides a boy named Rollo. And even then, Rollo doesn’t like him very much.
* His grades are not good (not because he’s not smart, but because he doesn’t think of school as important in the grand scheme of things).
* He is single minded about being a detective (and that’s it).
* He prefers to spend time with his imaginary friend (a polar bear named Total).
* Spends time sitting by a fence and talking to said friend during all of recess.
* He takes things literally and has wild fantasies as a result:
“You should move your office to Broadway.” (Imagines his workspace on a stage in the middle of a broadway performance.)
“Rollo is at his fencing class” (Imagines a classroom where you study different kinds of fences.)
* He wears one article of clothing every day (a red scarf) because it “looks distinctive.”
* Has flat affect and rarely shows emotion on his face.
* And finally, he uses big words in placement of simpler, more child friendly terms. Again, not because he’s a snob, but because these are the words that best suit the situation. Words like affirmative, distinctive, obfuscate, mendacity, negative, demerit, etc.
I’m not sure if Stephan Pastis wrote him this way on purpose, but it definitely helps Timmy stand out as a, to use his word, distinct character.

Batfamily Powerpoint Night! (Part 9: Barbara)
<<Part 8: Duke | Part 10: Alfred >>
[Masterlist]
Barbara: Alright, my turn!
Tim: Frankly I’m terrified for what’s about to happen
Dick: Oh Babs will be nice, don’t worry :)
Dick: I stand corrected
Steph: Oh god
Bruce: [sighs and puts his head in his hands]
Barbara: I organized it roughly from newest vigilantes to oldest, since more patrolling means more room for spectacular failures
Duke: It was a bad day for me
Jason: HA
Steph: Been there, done that. Not on TV though that really sucks man.
Steph: NOOOOOO
Tim: ONE SQUARED?
Steph: I GOT CONFUSED
Jason: [Hysterical laughter]
Damian: One multiplied by one?!
Steph: I THOUGHT IT MADE TWO I UNDERSTAND MY MISTAKE
Duke: From this mask view footage Batman is just watching this go down
Bruce: He said he didn’t want help. Felt like a teaching moment.
Damian: (muttering) I was fine.
Dick: Damian we were not going to drive you to 5th grade with a knife in your liver.
Steph: You’ve had this footage for four years?!
Barbara: I keep a file for blackmail. Cass doesn’t really have much, though.
Cass: (signing) I did learn the dance. Eventually.
Tim: WILL THIS TORMENT EVER END
Jason: YOU CRASHED THE BATMOBILE INTO A WALMART, TIMMY.
Steph: You deserve every joke we make about this
Damian: Your idiocy must be remembered
Dick: Yeah Tim this is pretty bad
Jason: Can I have that mask view footage
Barbara: I got ya
Tim: I hate it here
Jason: I really can’t defend this one
Dick: Why...? Did you shoot the trashcan?
Jason: I thought it was looking at me funny
Damian: The trashcan?
Jason: I was up for 52 hours give me a break.
Barbara: Do you want to tell them why you pulled two all-nighters in a row? Or should I?
Jason: You are an evil, evil woman. How do you even- nevermind. Of course you know everything, why do I even wonder. And for the record, the first night I stayed up for a case.
Barbara: And the second night was for Animal Crossing.
Jason: ...perhaps.
Duke: Oh my god.
Steph: And you laughed at me?
Bruce: (sighs)
Steph: Stop you were adorable in high school
Barbara: Thank you, but the braces? The acne? The bangs? 15 year old Barbara had no idea what she was doing.
Dick: I for one thought you were very cute in high school.
Jason: Stop flirting or I will leave
Bruce: Why were you both on a roof at night in your school uniforms?
Dick: I think let’s move on
Dick: Nevermind nevermind go back
Tim: Oh my god, Dick.
Duke: ”Purposely” ?!
Dick: I was nine
Damian: I knew better by age 9.
Bruce: Lessons were learned. I hope.
Jason: I’m starting to think I was one of the better Robins
Dick: I felt like I see sounds for three days...
Bruce: All traces of this were wiped from the internet.
Barbara: Oh Bruce, you know I’m better than that.
Dick: Hold on, hold on, we need an explanation.
Alfred: (as he walks by) A little too much to drink goes a long way...
Tim: YOU WERE DRUNK? ON PATROL?
Jason: No way. Even I haven’t been that stupid.
Duke: What did you buy at CVS
Bruce: ...apparently... I bought lollipops.
Steph: “Apparently” as in the next morning you didn’t remember putting on the Batsuit, going to CVS, buying lollipops, and talking to a guy with an audio recording device?
Bruce: ...yes.
Cass: (signing) Very bad. Very funny, but very bad.
Damian: Also an ineffective use of a smoke bomb if this civilian saw you walk away...
Bruce: Barbara, you have made your point.

Issue Thirty-Five: The Trial
Ah yes because of the safety and defense of Andros, Solaria, ect is the responsibility of the magic schools on Magix
I wasn't aware that they were military outposts and not schools!!!
The way they treat the schools in the comics bothers me soooo much
Kiko has wings now, asking questions will only confuse you more
"here let me show you what my students were doing" *immediately shows two people from a different school*
Bravo actually
HOW THE FUCK DID THEY EVEN GET TO VALTOR!!!! WHO LET THEM INTO THE OMEGA DIMENSION!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!
And expelled.....god the comics are worse than the show about sensical punishments for the Trix
This fucking idiot is annoying and stupid but he has a fucking point, who the fuck was watching the Trix and how did they let them end up on Omega in the first place
But like it's not anyone's fault that the Trix in the comics are just naturally evil
You're both so stupid. When they immediately betray your dumbasses and nearly gets you two killed I hope it will be worth it
A TRUE FUCKING NECK BEARD OH MY GODDD
Why is Stormy pretending to be Flora??? Darcy makes more sense and Flora and Stormy are VERY different
This only worked because there were fat away
Also, reverse S8 shape shifting
If Helia got closer, the other guy is a literal tree, he would have figured out this was a trap but he doesn't
He kinda follows them around from a polite distance, which is really funny
FLORA DOESN'T EVEN GET A CHANCE TO FEEL SAD!!! GIRL FEEL BAD FOR YOURSELF FOR ONE MINUTE, YOUR MOM FRIEND ENERGY IS MAKING ME TIRED
You know this dream had her actually communicating with Brandon so I got to wonder if that's actually Valtor
This sequence is so beautiful!!!
How Stella spoke to Brandon in her dreams is brushed off, she simply did, power of LOVE baby
When Riven fucked up and nearly got the squad killed Helia was all like "I must take responsibility and accept this because I was leader while it happened and it's my fault" but now he's lying
He's embarrassed!!! Helia bby nooo it's okay
.... Actually I agree with dumb and dumber now, you are one stupid ass mother fucker and I don't know how anyone in the light council made it into adulthood being that idiotic
BCJDHFJSJD HELIA WHY ARE YOU BEING SO DRAMATIC HELP FNSNDJSK A SIMPLE EXPLANATION WOULD SUFFICE
He's soooo busy being in his own feelings and upset with himself he forgot about how Flora must feel gjsnfjsks he's such a little idiot Im starting to love him
Riven: *fucks up and nearly gets himself and Timmy killed*
Helia: well we all make mistakes, as long as he apologizes and promises to not do it again
Later
Helia: *makes one mistake*
Helia: I AM A FAILURE OF THE HIGHEST ORDER, I MESS UP EVERYTHING, I CANT BE ALLOW TO CONTINUE TO RUIN THE GOOD NAME OF SPECIALISTS
This boy has NO self esteem babyyyyyyy
I love him, please get therapy your self esteem has broken though the floor and is underground

Doodle Fiction: A Genre for the Creative and Humorous.
What is Doodle Fiction?
Doodle fiction is a term used to describe a type of literature that incorporates doodles and handwritten graphics in place of traditional fonts. Doodles are simple drawings that can express ideas, emotions, or humor. Doodle fiction uses doodles to enhance the story and often add humorous elements. Doodle fiction is more text-heavy than graphic novels or manga, and closer to prose fiction than comics in format.
How did Doodle Fiction emerge and evolve?
Doodle fiction is a relatively new genre that emerged in the late 20th century and gained popularity in the 21st century. Some of the precursors of doodle fiction include illustrated novels, which are novels that contain illustrations that complement the text, such as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland or The Little Prince; and diary novels, which are novels that are written in the form of a diary or a journal, such as Diary of a Young Girl or Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Doodle fiction was influenced by the development of the internet, which enabled global and collaborative creation and dissemination of literature, and the doodle culture, which celebrated the art and fun of doodling.
What are the characteristics and themes of Doodle Fiction?
Doodle fiction is characterized by its use of doodles and handwritten graphics, such as images, words, colors, fonts, and layouts. Doodle fiction often breaks the conventional boundaries of literature, such as linearity, structure, and form. Doodle fiction allows the reader to explore multiple paths and meanings, and to participate in the creation and interpretation of the story. Doodle fiction also challenges the notions of authorship, authority, and authenticity, as the story can be modified, remixed, or co-authored by multiple agents.
Some of the common themes of doodle fiction are:
The relationship between language and reality.
The impact of digital culture on identity and society.
The exploration of new forms of expression and communication.
The critique of the limitations and possibilities of the medium.
The celebration of creativity and innovation.
What are some notable examples of Doodle Fiction?
There are many examples of doodle fiction that have been bestsellers, critically acclaimed, or adapted into other media. Here are some of them:
The Search for the Slimy Space Slugs (2016) by Mike Lowery: A doodle adventure that follows the exploits of Carl, a boy who travels through space with his robot friend. It is the first book in the Doodle Adventures series.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2007) by Jeff Kinney: A diary novel that chronicles the life and struggles of Greg Heffley, a middle school student. It is the first book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (2007) by Sherman Alexie and Ellen Forney: A diary novel that tells the story of Junior, a Native American teenager who transfers to a white school. It is based on the author’s own experiences.
Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made (2013) by Stephan Pastis: A humorous novel that follows the adventures of Timmy Failure, a boy who runs a detective agency with a polar bear. It is the first book in the Timmy Failure series.
The Strange Case of Origami Yoda (2010) by Tom Angleberger: A mystery novel that revolves around a paper puppet of Yoda that gives advice to a group of sixth graders. It is the first book in the Origami Yoda series.
Conclusion.
Doodle fiction is a genre that reflects the realities and potentials of the creative and humorous age. It offers new ways of experiencing and creating literature, as well as new perspectives on the role and function of literature in the contemporary world. Doodle fiction is not a trivial or superficial genre, but a valid and valuable form of literature that deserves attention and appreciation.

So the outline I've been working on has just become a rough draft of the fic. So far it's 6 pages long so I'll just add some snippets. I haven't added any dialog yet but I have a feeling that it won't be dialog heavy.
Keep in mind a lot of this is subject to change.
Timmy just turned 17 and, try as he might, he can’t ignore that this is his last year with his fairies. After reminiscing over the past seven years, Timmy is left with the realization that he is the cause for everyone’s misery. Determined to make things right, Timmy uses his last year with his fairy family to make things better. Even at the cost of himself.
Basically, Timmy wants to pull a Madoka Magica and wish for a world where he never existed.
He scours Da Rules and quickly discovers that this isn’t a wish that Cosmo and Wanda can grant. According to the rules, if a godkid wishes that they were never born/never existed then the current overseer of Da Rules will give them the “It’s a Wonderful Life” treatment until the godkid learns to have a better appreciation for life.
---
It took months of going back and forth with the Fairy Council before a compromise could be made. It turned out, despite all the bad that came from Timmy Turner’s existence, there was some good that came from it too. Good that was too important to the balance of the universe to allow Timmy to wish that he no longer existed. The universe could rectify small imbalances on its own but anything too large and it was at risk of destroying itself.
But, the boy did make a convincing argument. Timmy Turner, as he exists now, did cause more harm to Fairy World than good. That, by itself, would not be reason to entertain the boy’s plea. However, the entire point of the godparent program is to make the lives of miserable kids better. How would it look to the other magical creatures if the child, who has needed his fairies longer than any other child in millenia, turned out more miserable than he was before he got his fairies. The failure could be catastrophic. Anti fairies, pixies, elves, any magical creature would be chomping at the bit to replace fairies as godparents and they would have the grounds to do so.
With that in mind, they allow Timmy to rewrite history and rectify most of his mistakes. With a few conditions.
Timmy still has to go back in time and cause Crocker to lose his fairies. While they have started to transition away from using the belief in fairies to power the Big Wand, the powersurge that came from Crocker’s obsession caused a technological boom in Fairy World that they cannot do without.
---
The last condition is that Timmy has to rewrite Da Rules, and they have to be approved by Jorgen, in order to prevent another godkid like Timmy.
Timmy accepts with a condition of his own. Since fairies can’t interfere with true love, there is a chance Cosmo, Wanda and Poof would remember the original timeline. In order to prevent that, and prevent them from trying to undo his wish, Timmy requests that he be in charge of their veil. He could exist outside of time and any sort of mortal or magical plane and watch over them. If they start to dwell on their past adventures with Timmy, or question why things aren't quite matching up like they should, then he can be there whispering in their ear that it’s nothing they need to worry about. Kind of like a guardian angel. He can also steer them in the right direction if they start to argue and have them come to an agreement. Basically, he just wants to look after them and make sure they are better off without him.

I'm working on a Fop au where a 17 year old Timmy wants to wish himself out of existence- but for real this time.
I have the basic outline pretty much done but not really at a point where I want to share it. Hopefully I'll get there this weekend.
To make a long story short, Timmy couldn't wish himself out of existence but, he made such a convincing case to the Fairy Council that, they let him rewrite history so he could avoid making most of his more catastrophic wishes. Effectively writing the current version of Timmy out of existence.
There are some things Timmy couldn't change per the Fairy Council, ruining Crocker's life being one of them. And Timmy refuses to unwish his baby brother.
Timmy's final request was that he could watch over his fairy family and make sure they never question why their memories don't quite line up with reality.
The Council agrees but due to some unforseen circumstances Timmy can only oversee Cosmo and Wanda, he has no influence on Poof/Peri. So he just has to hope that Peri doesn't question anything.
The part I'm stuck on is the part where it ties into a new wish.
In this Au Dev still has Peri. I'm going to be vague on if he never lost Peri to begin with or if he was given a second chance later on since it's not really relevant to the plot of the fic.
I want Hazel and her friends to be the ones responsible for reuniting Timmy with his fairy family. I just don't know how Timmy would be brought up.
If anyone has any questions or suggestions please share!

Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made (2020)
My rating: 4/10
So they were clearly going for some sort of Not Calvin and Hobbes thing here, what with the imaginary apex predator friend and the overactive imagination, and sometimes it almost works - except then the movie shows the actual, real, and often very serious consequences of Timmy's actions, making them very much not endearing. Also, roughly half the supporting cast would make for a more interesting protagonist than this dour, rude, pretentious little shit. I want a Flo movie.
