Balan's Nightmare

(Alternative Opening to The Perfect Finale)

Nights were surely something in Wonderworld. Sometimes nights in the theater could yield some of the greatest parties, that lasted until the crack of dawn, other nights, they could be so quiet it would seem that time itself stood still until the sun rose.

Balan and Lance gazed over the wondrous realm before they themselves turned in for the night. Doing one last fly over at the Isle of Tims, they sensed that nothing was wrong "I've finished my flight. It would seem everything has turned in tonight." Lance said as he yawned, his tentacles stretching out behind him.

Balan rubbed his own eyes as well. "I agree. It's time for the back of my eyelids that I see." He said. The two maestros bid each other Goodnight returning back to theater. The green haired maestro gave himself a well deserved soak in the bath, before floating to his extremely lavish bed. However, just as he floated to the land of dreams, he could feel the theater give a sudden, but almost unnoticed shake.

Balan narrowed his eyes. The theater NEVER shook or swayed for...pretty much anything. So the fact that it was shaking now worried him. "Easy now Bal...don't jump to wild conclusion...Maybe a well deserved maybe you need some rest...a LONG one." He said. Slipping into bed, Balan closed his eyes and tried not to think about it.

However, his dreams didn't yield any better results...

Balan and Lance were currently resting on the Isle of Tims. It was a beautiful day, there were no hearts to rebalance, it was one of those rare days when the maestros could just relax. "Ah. This is the life. No fighting, no conflict, no problems or strife." Balan said. Lance gave a hum of agreement. Just then, world began to violently shake, making the maestros sit up.

Balan's eyes shrunk in horror at the sight of the perfect blue sky turning a volent shade of red as what appeared to be Wonderworld Seals overtook the Isle of Tims. The sounds of panicked screaming, squeaks and timmus were heard as costumes could be seen panicking and running from something. "MAESTROS! MAESTROS! WHAT DO WE DO?!" They screamed.

Just before Balan could respond, he could hear the sounds of the kids panic as they tried to escape what looked to be a crumbling room. "BALAN! HURRY!" He heard Leo yell. He attempted to run to them, before he was blasted down by a ball of red light. Looking up, he could see Lance get blown down as well, as a figure stood above him in a long torn with swirls on it as he held a crystalline heart in his hands.

"Wonderworld is MINE!" He yelled, before grabbing Balan by the throat and holding what looked to be that pill from The Perfect Getaway. "I will destroy all who stand in my way..." The figure said before shoving the Pill down Balan's throat, and shooting another red ball at him. This time as Wonderworld was crumbling around them.

Balab gave a scream as he awoke from his nightmare, scrambling up and looking around in blind panic. To his relief, everything was still OK for the most part...but that didn't mean he was still worried.

Kepemimpinan dalam Ketaatan

Waktu pulang kantor adalah timing yang pas untuk quite time dan merenung. Overthinking dengan bagaimana menghadapi hari-hari ke depan. Bagaimana membawa amanah atas orang-orang yang menjadi tanggung jawabku. Dan menilik kembali bagaimana sejauh ini amanah telah berjalan untuk suatu saat nanti dipertanggungjawabkan. Sampai akhirnya aku menyadari suatu hal.

Aku memiliki 2 tim dimana aku sama-sama memiliki posisi sebagai leader.

Di tim pertama, aku satu-satunya muslim. Sedangkan tim kedua beranggotakan mayoritas muslim (4 dari 5).

Sekilas terlihat seolah tim pertama lebih challenging karena aku satu-satunya muslim. Aku harus mengatur waktu agar tidak sampai lupa dengan kewajiban untuk sholat 5 waktu di tengah kesibukan dan jadwal tim yang padat.

Sedangkan di tim kedua aku ga perlu risau karena mayoritas muslim, maka lebih banyak yang saling mengingatkan utk sholat 5 waktu.

Setelah aku berusaha memaknai arti kepemimpinan itu sendiri dan berusaha menyadarkan diri atas alasan apa Allah memilihku di situasi ini, aku mulai paham. Bahwa justru challenge yang lebih besar adalah di tim kedua. Challenge yang sesungguhnya bukan hanya gimana 'aku' bisa sholat tepat waktu. Tapi gimana 'tim aku' bisa shalat tepat waktu. Karena di sana ada tanggung jawab yang lebih besar.

Setuju untuk statement bahwa shalat memang tanggung jawab setiap individu muslim. Setuju bahwa aku tidak seharusnya bertanggung jawab atas waktu untuk mereka melaksanakan shalat. Tapi kembali lagi, ini semua tentang 'pertanggungjawaban'.

Tanggung jawabku adalah menyelesaikan project dengan high quality and tepat waktu. Aku punya andil atas timeline dan schedule orang-orang dalam timku. Aku memaknainya sebagai "Jika aku punya kesempatan dan wewenang untuk menggerakan timku, maka di sanalah tanggung jawabku. Kemana dan kapan tim melangkah adalah kuasaku."

Dari situlah aku tersadar, gimana kalau nanti aku di akhirat aku ditanya:

gimana kamu ngatur waktu timmu untuk sholat?

kenapa kamu ngga ngajak dan ngingetin timmu untuk segera sholat?

kenapa kamu ngga mendahulukan sholat?

Dan sebagainya.

Apalah artinya kita mengejar apresiasi atasan kalau dari sisi Tuhanku tidak ada keberkahan?

—Much to their namesake, Tickus love to tickle people that they nuzzle against. Even in places where a person's not normally ticklish, they'll have that person giggling the moment they nuzzle that area.

—Despite being on Lance's side, Tickus are actually harmless and really friends. You can say that they're basically Negati with Tim-like personalities. They also have a mischievous and playful side to them too.

—At night, they love to snuggle up with Lance and fall asleep. Lance allows this despite the fact that he lost count of how many times he would hold back giggles in his sleep.

—Even though Negati usually eat drops, the Tickus, for some unexplainable reason, love to eat peanut butter. Straight out of the jar. Lance and Balan both suspect that one of the Visitors must have given the Tickus some.

Khaleed adalah hero Role Fighter yang baru saja dirilis ke Original Server oleh Moonton belum lama ini. Meskipun masih baru, Khaleed langsung menjadi percakapan hangat di kalangan pemain Mobile Legends. Hero ini punya kombinasi skill yang mematikan dan sangat ringan dipahami, gak heran terkecuali strategi paling baik untuk hero ini telah ditemukan.

Tanpa banyak basa-basi langsung saja liat inilah adalah lima strategi Mengenakan Khaleed, hero baru yang sangat mematikan!

1. Build tersakit untuk Khaleed 

Ada dua tipe Items Build yang bisa anda manfaatkan saat manfaatkan Khaleed. Build pertama digunakan misalnya anda mendambakan punya Brust Damage yang besar, mendambakan bermain cepat dan mematikan. Gunakan Items Build dulu yaitu: Warior Boots, Bloodlust Axe, Wings Of The Apocalypse Queen, Brute Force Breastplate, Blade Of Despair Dan Immortality. Keunggulan Items Build pertama bisa memberi tambahan Damage yang besar, bisa sebabkan Khaleed survive lebih lama di dalam pertemuan tetapi kekurangannya Khaleed kesulitan Jungling di early game.

Sedangkan Items Build ke dua ini diperuntukkan bagi anda yang mendambakan bermain santai, bermain roaming dan penikmat Jungling dapat tetapi senantiasa mematikan. Gunakan Items Build ke dua yaitu: Raptor Machete, Warior Boots, Bloodlust Axe, Blade Of Despair, Endless Battle dan Wings Of The Apocalypse Queen. Keunggulan Items Build ke dua sudah pasti Farming dan Jungling menjadi sangat cepat, meningkatnya lifesteal dan senantiasa mematikan, tetapi kekurangannya Khaleed berpotensi ringan terbunuh sebab punya HP yang lebih sedikit dan punya pergerakan yang lebih lambat. Tentukan pilihanmu!

2. Line paling baik untuk Khaleed 

Untuk Line sendiri Khaleed sangat tepat tempati Top Line yakni Offliner. Keunggulan hero ini dibandingkan yang lain, Khaleed tidak manfaatkan Mana atau Energy melainkan Rage berasal dari skill pasifnya sehingga Ia tidak butuh pemberian Buff sama sekali, tidak cuma itu hero ini termasuk punya damage yang besar di early game sehingga Khaleed sangat tepat dijadikan sebagai Offliner.

Alasan lainnya yang sebabkan hero ini cocok sebagai Offliner adalah Khaleed bisa meng-clear Minions dengan sangat cepat manfaatkan skill satunya, skill dua hero ini termasuk sebabkan Khaleed bisa survive meskipun di-gang atau dikeroyok lawan dan yang paling akhir adalah skill ultimate-nya yang sangat bermanfaat untuk melarikan diri atau menge-lock pergerakan hero lawan.

3. Emblem dan Battle Spell untuk Khaleed 

Selayaknya seorang Fighter, saya sangat menyarankan untuk manfaatkan untuk manfaatkan Emblem Fighter sebab bisa meningkatkan Spell Vamp-nya Khaleed sampai 12% dan untuk Battle Spell-nya sendiri saya sangat menyarankan untuk manfaatkan Flicker sebab Khaleed tidak punya Skill Blink atau lari, Flicker sangat bermanfaat untuk Khaleed di situasi yang mendesak.

Untuk settingannya anda bisa menyaksikan gambar di atas. Tiga poin pertama di halaman Telent pertama ambil (Bravery) fungsinya untuk meningkatkan Physical ATK, tiga poin seterusnya terhadap halaman Telent ke dua silakan ambil (Invasion) sehingga Damage Khaleed terhadap hero lawan tambah sakit dan halaman Talent paling akhir silakan menentukan (Festival of Blood) yang sangat bermanfaat untuk Khaleed sebab bisa meningkatkan Spell Vamp sampai 12%.

4. Permainan hero Khaleed di Early, Mid dan Late Game 

Di early game, menit 1 sampai 3. Khaleed tidak wajib cemas dengan Damage-nya, anda nggak wajib takut-takut untuk langsung melabrak lawan di depanmu. Akan tetapi fokus utama anda adalah beroleh skill ultimate yakni level 4, membersihkan Minions, membunuh Kelomang dan Jungle dapat mempercepat prosesnya.

Di mid game ini, menit 4 sampai 9. Khaleed mulai fokus push turret sampai turret yang pertama pertama di Line anda hancur, sehabis itu mulailah roaming mendukung tim yang sedang war, jangan lupa untuk membunuh Tutle sebab bisa meningkatkan gold kawan satu timmu.

Di late game, di atas 10 menit. Seharusnya Khaleed telah sangat mematikan. Dengan manfaatkan kemampuannya, anda wajib bisa menyelesaikan pertandingan dengan cepat, bunuh lah Lord terkecuali kesulitan memenangkan pertandingan. Dengan Damage yang dimilikinya jangan hero Marksman atau Mage, hero Tank samasekali tidak dapat berkutik saat berhadapan dengan Khaleed.

5. Combo skill paling mematikan hero Khaleed 

HunterSlot - Dalam mengeluarkan skill-nya anda nggak boleh sembrono pencet, ada teknik dan timing yang wajib diterapkan ketika mengeluarkan skill. Gunakan combo skill 1+2+1+3 atau skill 3+1+1+2, selanjutnya ini penjelasannya.

Dalam situasi normal maupun terdesak Khaleed lumayan memainkan skill satunya saja, seiring dengan perihal itu anda wajib perhatikan bar standing di bawah HP-nya terkecuali telah terisi penuh jangan sangsi untuk menyerang balik sebab pasifnya bisa memberi tambahan (+160% Physical ATK) damage yang besar.

Jangan lupakan skill dua dan ultimate-nya yang sangat berguna. Gunakan skill duanya di saat HP anda mulai menipis kurang lebih 30%, manfaat skill duanya ini untuk meningkatkan kuantitas HP sebanyak 65% berasal dari keseluruhan HP yang hilang dan mengurangi damage yang di terima sebesar 50%. Sedangkan untuk skill ultimate-nya jangan buru-buru digunakan, simpan untuk menge-lock pergerakan lawan atau situasi mendesak untuk melarikan diri. Semoga berhasil!

Look, I still don’t like the MET Gala and I still hope this was the only time he was there but I do love what he’s done with the place. I haven’t watched the IG live yet but I love he decided to use his IG account to show ancient and modern art to his selfie-tiktok obsessed audience. And maanage to kind of shove down their throats a mirror of their own problematic behavior in the processess, even if they probably didn’t understand it.

I love the outfit. Not necessarily in the way it looks (even if it’s cool too — and I do love what it does to his tiny waist/hips and the signature display of the angles) but in what the outfit says. I love that he choose to stay true to himself instead of entertaining the over-the-top look at my craziness non sense of the gala. I would have hate to see him wear something that would have make him uncomfortable or that he would have ditched 5 minutes after the white carpet because that would have been unwearable for more than 10 minutes. I love the idea that this is not something like ‘wear it once and then it’s useless forever’ but that he can just fall asleep in the sweatpants, put the Elio Converse shoes back on tomorrow to grab breakfast. Walking around NYC in half of his MET gala outfit without anyone blinking an eye in his direction. The whole things screams Timmu so loudly, I couldn’t be happier to hear it. The guy who just switch from street casual vibes to luxurious fashion icon in a second, doesn’t even need to switch and can be the best of both at the same time. I love the ‘couldn’t care less’ attitude of showing up on the fucking most select fashion event of the year wearing sweatpants and $60 shoes. Very me showing up at a dressed up party wearing pj’s, so couldn’t be prouder of the guy.

What could bring me more joy than seeing this kid smilling and running around in his sneakers while everyone else in the room is bundled up in something difficult and high-heeled, all silently whishing they were him? Absolutely nothing.

Aku punya sebuah pikiran yang ingin kubagikan. Yah, memang bukan pikiran yang bijak. Tapi memang tidak ada nasihat bijak yang keluar dari seorang perempuan yang kebanyakan mikir setiap tengah malam kan? Bahkan aku curiga beberapa sel otakku sudah resign karena tidak tahan kusuruh lembur tiap hari. HA!

Ini isi pikiran bodoh itu: I do not believe love conquers all. I do not believe that all you need is love. I seriously do not. I have stopped believing in love long time ago. And stopped acting solely based on love. No matter how strong that love feels. Bukan, aku bukan sedang ingin memaksa kalian percaya cinta itu gak ada. Silakan silakan saja kalau kalian mau percaya cinta. Sungguh itu gak ada urusannya denganku. Poin yang ingin kusampaikan adalah, biarpun kamu percaya sama cinta, cinta aja tuh gak cukup. Ada hal lain yang diperlukan buat berhasilnya sebuah hubungan.

Kenapa aku ngerasa cinta aja gak cukup? Kalau kamu bicara soal rasa cinta, itu cuma manipulasi otakmu aja. Itu konspirasi yang dibentuk tubuh hormon-hormon dan reaksi-reaksi kimia dalam tubuh kita. Makanya kita sering mendadak bloon kalau jatuh cinta. Itu karena tubuh kita berubah, secara harafiah. It's psychological, it's medical, it's science, you can look it up in the internet. There are lots of references.

Aku sudah melihat banyak pernikahan yang dibangun atas dasar cinta, toh hancur juga. Kalau cinta aja cukup, harusnya ga hancur kan? Menurutku, kalau untuk sekedar memiliki, cinta aja emang cukup. Untuk bertahan, kamu bukan butuh cinta, kamu butuh partner. Coba pikir dengan sisa-sisa kecerdasanmu yang ada dari masa sebelum kamu mencintai. Kalau kamu tidak mencintai dia, apakah kamu akan bisa bekerja sama dalam sebuah proyek besar sama dia? Teman tim seperti apa yang paling bisa kamu ajak kerja sama jangka panjang?

Apakah kamu bisa kerja sama kalau nggak ada kepercayaan? Apakah kamu bisa kerja sama kalau yang berjuang satu orang aja? Apakah kamu bisa kerja sama kalau teman timmu ga kooperatif dan mau enaknya aja? Apakah kamu bisa kerja sama kalau teman timmu defensif dan langsung ngambek pas dikasih masukan? Apakah kamu bisa kerja sama kalau teman timmu menghilang pas ada konflik? Apakah kamu bisa kerja sama kalau teman timmu nggak mau kerja sama sama kamu? Ini bukan soal mencari pasangan yang bisa jadi team player, tapi soal menjadi team player juga. Percaya deh, hubungan jangka panjang itu kayak ngerjain long-term project bareng. Ya, proyek. Dan bukan proyek biasa. Ini proyek yang susah banget dan penuh risiko.

Proyek bisa berhasil kalau dua-duanya kerja. Proyek juga bisa berhasil kalau cuma salah satu yang kerja, kerjanya harus keras banget tapi. Proyek yang di tengah jalan bermasalah juga ujung-ujungnya bisa berhasil kalau dikejar dengan usaha ekstra. Dari proyek ini, kamu bisa mengenal orang kayak apa sih yang jadi teman tim kamu.

Sekarang ini, mungkin proyekmu sedang bermasalah, dan kebetulan kamu yang bikin masalahnya. Tapi tenang, ini belom deadline, masih setengah jalan. Perbaiki semampumu. Kemungkinannya ada dua (lebih sih, tapi males ngetiknya). Satu, dia sadar kamu serius di proyek ini dan dia tergerak buat ikut kerja keras. Dua, dia tetep mau nyerah aja sama proyeknya karena udah kecewa proyeknya diberantakin kamu. Ya gapapa sih. Serius gapapa. Dua rius. Tiga rius bahkan. Kalau kemungkinan kedua (amit-amit) terjadi, itu bukan lagi salahmu selama kamu udah usaha keras perbaiki semuanya. Mungkin aja dia gak cocok jadi teman timmu, atau dia belom siap ngerjain proyek jangka panjang yang penuh risiko ini.

Sekali udah ketemu teman tim yang terasa cocok, mungkin kamu bakal mikir "ah ga bakal ada lagi yang kayak gini." But come on, there are almost 8 billions people on earth, there are lots of possibilities out there as long as you open your heart for the possibilities and stop lingering on the past. Teruslah berjuang, tapi teruslah mengobservasi juga. Supaya kamu tahu, kapan kamu harus berjuang lebih keras, kapan kamu harus berhenti.

Papaku selalu berpesan, "sebelum nikah, buka mata, telinga, hati lebar-lebar. Pelajari semua tanda-tanda, biar tahu kapan harus lanjut, kapan harus stop. Tapi kalau sudah nikah, kamu gak bisa ngapa-ngapain. Tutup mata, telinga, hati, dan terima apa yang kamu dapat. Karena biarpun mustahil, kamu harus tetap perjuangkan hubungan kamu." Aku percaya sepenuhnya sama kata-kata ini. Kamu percaya atau nggak, itu urusanmu. Toh aku cuma mau muntahin aja racauanku malam ini, biar dia keluar dari otakku, dan aku bisa tidur.

Bagaimana caranya? Yuk, simak beberapa tips agar Faramis tidak hanya menjadi feeder!

Faramis memiliki skill yang cukup unik, yakni pada ultimatenya. Saat mengaktifkan Cult Altar, Faramis akan memanggil sebuah altar yang berbentuk lingkaran dan jika Faramis atau hero di timmu yang mati dalam area altar tersebut akan hidup kembali berbentuk seperti bayangan, menyerupai duplikat ciptaan Vexana. Hero yang dibangkitkan ini tetap akan bisa menyerang dan menggunakan skill seperti biasa selama durasi yang diberikan. Menariknya, jika hero ini kembali mati dalam altar yang masih aktif, hero tersebut dapat kembali hidup dalam waktu relatif lebih singkat. Estimasi awal, hero yang dihidupkan menggunakan Cult Altar akan mendapatkan durasi sekitar 8 detik, lebih dari cukup untuk menyiksa hero musuh yang kemungkinan sekarat. Durasi dari Cult Altar yang akan aktif selama 10 detik memang cukup lama, namun kamu tidak perlu langsung menggunakannya di awal teamfight. Mengaktifkan Cult Altar di tengah teamfight akan membuat durasinya lebih maksimal, apalagi jika ada hero yang kembali mati meski sudah dihidupkan. Selain itu, meski waktu respawn dari Faramis akan berkurang setelah dibangkitkan oleh Cult Altar, bukan berarti kamu dianjurkan untuk sengaja melakukan bunuh diri dengan memanfaatkan skill ultimatenya. Jika kamu mendapatkan buff, maka saat bangkit kembali, buff tersebut akan hilang. Sementara untuk hero seperti Diggie, skill pasifnya akan aktif setelah efek ressurect habis dan dia akan kembali menjadi burung kecil. Skill ultimate Faramis juga tidak berlaku untuk hero yang bisa memiliki skill duplikasi seperti Sun. Skill ini hanya bekerja pada hero 'aslinya' dan tidak akan menghidupkan bayangan yang mati. Hero yang memiliki skill pasif saat mati juga akan mengalami hal berbeda saat terkena Cult Altar, seperti Rafaela yang tidak akan mengaktifkan skill pasifnya saat dibangkitkan dan durasi Cult Altar habis. Namun jika Rafaela dibunuh oleh hero dalam durasi tersebut, maka skill pasifnya akan aktif. Secara keseluruhan, skill ultimate Faramis sangat berguna untuk membantu teamfight yang berat sebelah. Meanwhile, Back at the Balan Theater, Also happening at the same time...

Balan and Lance began to lose hope. They had tried almost everything they could think of, but the girls were still stuck in their state "This isn't good. This is far from great, is there any way we could remove the girls from their state?" Balan asked. Lance didn't respond. He was trying to figure out the same thing, if magic didn't snap them out of it, then there was something that DID...But what?

Suddenly, a small dark portal opened up, and Kuro and Shiro appeared from it. The two maestros felt a smile grace their face. "Kuro Shiro! Thank the wondrous lands! What are those jars you hold in your hands?" Lance asked. The KosoKoso held up the jars so that the maestros could get a closer look. Shiro began to frantically chirp, as Balan translated her fast paces "Timmus".

"She says the jars hold their personality...could bringing these near the girls be the key?" He asked. Curious, Lance brought Yuri's jar close to her face, and gently opened it. The purple mist rose out of the jar and into the purple haired girl's face. Just then, she seemed to fall into a trance. She breathed in the purple smoke before her eyes seemed to sparkle. She then rubbed at her eyes, before letting out a groan

"Balan? Lance? What happened?" She asked. The two maestros got hopeful "Yuri. I have a question to inquire. Is the death of all that crawls your desire?" Lance asked. Yuri shook her head before she saw Wormsworth "Wormy! I missed you!" She said. The bug like Negaboss let out a happy chirp. Yuri then ran to her, and gave her a very big hug, much to her joy.

Balan gave a wide smile "YES!! Yuri is back and freed! The jars with their personality that they need!!" He cheered. The positive Maestro then opened Kaylo's jar and held it under her face as well. The pink haired girl breathed in her pink fumes before her eyes became enlarged "Wh-When did we get to the theater?" She asked "Not too long ago. But do you still love opera music, I have to know." Balan told her.

Kaylo raised an eyebrow "Um. No. I have always hated Opera music. It makes me fall asleep." She replied. Balan then did a backflip in the air "We did it! The girls are back! Now maybe we can plan our attack." Lance said. Yuri scratched her head "Attack? What do you mean?" She asked "The children went to that school that you went to. But what happened to you was what we were trying to do." Balan explained.

Both of their eyes went wide "WHAT?! They went to PPP?! Oh Crud! They're gonna become like us if they went there!!" Yuri cried out. The maestros looked confused "What do you mean?" Lance asked. That's when Kuro and Shiro began to wildly gesture the jars, Yuri's uniform, as well as frantic chirps and squeaks. "Oh dear...Madame Prim has a underground operation I fear. Her strange machine, straps kids to their fate, in which they are locked into a 'perfect' state." Balan translated.

The girls eyes widened "Oh no! We gotta get to PPP and help them right now!" Yuri cried before Kaylo stopped her "Hang on. I've got an idea, but we'll need the help from the other students from both our schools..." she said....

OPINI – 5 #Kuliah atau organisasi? How to manage your study and your organization as a university student?

Kuliah atau oraganisasi? Sedikit kecemasan yang sering menghantui aktivis-aktivis kampus. Mana nih yang harus dipilih saat tugas kuliah datang bersamaan rapat organisasi? Pilihan yang sulit memang. Kuliah sudah menjadi prioritas utama sebagian orang yang hendak lulus tepat waktu dengan nilai seoptimal mungkin, sedangkan organisasi merupakan tanggungjawab yang tidak boleh kita tinggalkan begitu saja, mengingat bahwa sebelum menjabat  kita terikat sumpah dan janji yang memang harus kita selesaikan sebaik mungkin. Organisasi dan kuliah adalah guru bagi mahasiswa. Tanpa salah satunya maka kurang lengkap rasanya gelar sarjana. Menjadi aktivis adalah suatu kebanggan bagi seorang mahasiswa, maka tak jarang mahasiswa rela memperpanjang waktu kuliah demi gelar tak tertulisnya, be an activist. Tapi, diluar sana ada aktivis yang mampu menyelesaikan kuliah tepat waktu atau bahkan lebih cepat, cumlaude, dan masih bisa aktif berorganisasi. Berdasarkan pengalaman saat kuliah, aku mengikuti organisasi sejak masuk semester satu dan alhamdulillah masih aktif bahkan saat sudah jadi alumni. Ada tiga organisasi yang aku ikuti selama kuliah dan alhamdulillah bisa tercover meski ketika ada acara seringkali harus tabrak-tabrakan nggak karu-karuan apalagi ketika ikut kepanitiaan dari organisasi yang berbeda, but it was be an amazing story for me. I have to thanks to the God karena sudah menguatkanku selama ini dan mengijinkan aku lulus 3,5 tahun dan cumlaude.

Nah ini dia tips dari aku buat aktivis-aktivis kampus yang punya time limit dari kampus karena kuliah kalian dicover oleh beasiswa sepertiku. Semoga bermanfaat:

1.       Buat visi, misi, serta strategi saat kuliah

Saat kamu kuliah, jangan biasakan melakukan segala sesuatu tanpa arah dan tujuan yang jelas. Karena kamu akan mengikuti arus begitu saja dan bakal kagt ketika lulus ‘apa yang aku lakukan selama ini ya?’. Saat kamu sadar pasti kamu bakal kecewa dengan dirimu sendiri, trust me. Jalan keluarnya adalah buat visi, misi, dan strategi apa yang bakal kamu lakukan saat sedang kuliah. Tanya sama senior yang kamu idolakan, but remember that jangan meletakkan cita-citamu hanya sebatas menjadi dia yang kamu idolakan, tapi jadilah yang terbaik dari dirimu, versimu. Semua orang punya jalan masing-masing. Perjuangkan apa yang menurut kamu itu keren.

2.       Buatlah list skala prioritas

Buat kalian yang mengikuti lebih dari satu organisasi, penting banget membuat skala prioritas. Kenapa? Karena akan ada satu waktu harus lebih memprioritaskan satu dari pada yang lain. Contoh, ketika organisasi A punya kegiatan penabdian masyarakat ke suatu desa, dan organisasi B punya kegiatan rapat bulanan sedangkan kamu di situ punya jabatan sebagai ketua bidang atau divisi misalnya, kamu akan dilemma. Maka kamu harus membuat skala prioritas berdasarkan jenis organisasinya, jenis kegiatan yang akan dilakukan, impact nya kepada masyarakat, dan alasan-alasan yang lain yang dapat membantu kamu untuk mendahulukan salah satunya.

3.       Buat timeline kegiatan

Nah ini yang nggak banyak orang lakukan. membuat timeline sangat-sangat penting. Biar tugas kuliah tercover, jangan dikerjakan saat deadlie. Untuk kepanitiaan-kepanitiaan yang segera dilaksanakan juga harus di highlight agar fokus tidak teralihkan sehingga kamu nggak jadi beban untuk timmu. Timeline juga membantumu agar pekerjaanmu nggak saling tumpang tindih.

4.       Buatlah hubungan dan komunikasi  yang baik

Di dalam organisasi kamu nggak sendirian. Don’t be introvert atau ansos alias anti sosial. Bersosialisasi itu penting banget. Saat kamu dalam kesusahan atau saat kamu butuh bantuan ya merekalah teman-teman yang bakal bantuin kamu. Dan jangan jadi teman yang tiba-tiba minta tolong, padahal kamu nggak pernah bantuin orang tersebut. Atau jika kamu nggak punya hubungan yang cukup dekat kamu bakal merasa segan saat minta tolong. Di organisasi kamu belajar untuk bersosialisasi dan berkomunikasi. Saat kamu banyak tugas kuliah nanti, maka teman-temanmulah yang akan sementara waktu mengcover kegiatanmu. Penting, jangan lupa untuk mengatakan ‘terimakasih’ seberapapun bantuan atau kebaikan yang kamu dapat.

5.       Jangan takut berkata ‘tidak’

Saat kamu sibuk UTS, kuis, atau organisasi lain sedang butuh kamu banget, lalu ada organisasi lain ngajak kamu main atau ajak kamu kongkow katakan saja ‘tidak’. Jangan merasa ‘duh, gimana ya kalau nanti aku nggak dianggap teman lagi’ jangan over thinking. Ingat, kamu punya visi, misi, kamu punya timeline, kamu bisa mengkomunikasikan hal tersebut. Kuncinya adalh terbuka aja dengan alasanmu.

6.       Belajar mandiri

Karena padatnya jadwal rapat dan kegiatan organisasi, kamu pasti bakal jarang bisa kerja kelompok. Jalan keluarnya adalah belajar mandiri. Mereview materi nggak harus selalu ramai-ramai. Kamu bisa menyesuaikan jenis materi dan waktunya. Jangan nunggu temanmu ngingetin, kamu punya timeline, jadi cukuplah timeline dan komitmenmu yang mengingatkan.

7.       Lakukan dengan totalitas

Jangan setengah-setengah, nanggung. Ketika kamu ingin melatih hidupmu, maka kamu harus melakukan semuanya dengan totalitas. Organisasi totalitas, kuliah totalitas. Dan ini akan memakan banyak waktumu. Istirahatmu akan lebih sedikit. Kamu nggak punya waktu bersantai. Cintai keduanya, jangan anggap itu beban. Nikmati setiap usaha dan prosesnya.

8.       Sediakan waktu untuk istirahat.

Kamu memang memiliki waktu yang terbatas untuk istirahat, tapi bukan berarti kamu nggak punya. Dan yang terpenting bukan seberapa lama kamu istirahat, tapi seberapa berkualitas istirahatmu. Ketika istirahat, silent hp kemudian nyalain alarm. Jangan biarkan hal-hal nggak penting mengganggu waktu istirahatmu, karena ini akan berdampak pada performa kamu. selain istirahat, jaga pola makan agar tubuh tetap fit. Asupan protein, karbohidrat, mineral, vitamin sangat dibutuhkan tubuh. Apalagi mengingat aktivitas kamu yang seambrek. Tapi jangan jadi kaum rebahan ya setelah kamu makan. Karena akan membuat perut buncit dan badan menjadi gemuk. Imbangi dengan olahraga-olahraga ringan ala anak kos yang bisa dilakukan di kosan seperti skipping, jogging, sit-up, atau senam.

Mungkin itu saja resep dari aku. Catatan kecil di akhir tulisan adalah carilah teman seperjuangan. Jangan cari teman yang hobi nongkrong, karena lingkungan memiliki pengaruh yang besar untuk membentuk dirimu. Ketika bisa dua-duanya kenapa harus memilih salah satunya? Ingat untuk terus melangkah, terus berproses, terus berusaha. Habiskan jatah gagal, dan berdampaklah.

Meeting the Maestro

*AKA How Kaylo met Balan*

Nobody in Timeville knew this. But the Bruno Family has a very long history...and a very big, and very magical secret. The entire family, has a secret connecting them to Wonderworld...

And the Youngest Bruno was about to learn of that secret.

(The Bruno Mansion, 8 Years ago...)

A 4 year old Kaylo was currently trying to sneakily obtain her Aunt's famous marshmallows, when she overheard her mom and grandmother talking. They seemed to be arguing about something.

"...Mom, She's only 4, she can't handle it yet!

"...She's a Bruno! She CAN handle it! I was told when I was 2!"

"...But Mom! I haven't even told her about HOW to find it!"

"...Well then, I guess we just have to do it the hard way them..."

Kaylo didn't like the sound of that. What were her mom and grandma talking about? In her fear, She ran out of the Bruno home and into town. Small tears began to leak from her eyes. She didn't know what her mom and Grandmother were arguing about something, but she didn't like arguments in the slightest...

She stopped near her Aunt's sweet shoppe. But found that Arwen and Catilin were arguing about something as well. More tears flooded her eyes as she walked away from the shop. She found herself wandering some random road. The poor girl didn't know what to do...and unfortunately, now she was lost.

Poor Kaylo sat down in who knows where, tears leaking from her eyes. She was lost, and her family was keeping something from her. She cried for a long time, unaware that something was getting closer. She didn't see it, but she felt something soft brush up against her. At first, she thought it was someone pet, like a cat or a dog. Until she felt something nuzzle her face with a small "Timmu?"

Wiping her tear clouded eyes, she saw what appeared to be a funny looking pink chick, with no legs, but had little puffy stumps for wings and a tail. Her saddened eyes gained curiosity as it gently tugged at her dress, as if it wanted her to follow it. Growing curious, she got up, and began to walk after the strange looking chick.

After it lead her down a small alleyway, Kaylo spotted the little chick as it reached a very large, and very lit up theater. The bright lights illuminating the darkened space that the theater was located in. "Little Chick? Where are you?" She asked out. To her surprise, the pink chick creature appeared on the INSIDE of the theater, waving a little wing puff at her.

Kaylo felt a strange force telling her to enter the theater. As if she lost control of her body, she carefully opened the door, and entered the theater. The sun from outside, illuminated the hallway through the strange theater. The pink haired girl slowly walked inside, hoping to find the funny little chick, when she heard a small click from the doors, as if she was locked inside. Frantically running back to the door, she tried to open it again, but she was now locked inside.

Now that she was locked inside, she had to find another way to get out...as well as where that little chick went. She walked through the hall of the theater, gazing at the many posters that lined the walls, before she reached a large room...and someone was inside it.

His back was turned to the girl, but he was holding up a small yellow teardrop shaped gem. She didn't know it, but the person was gazing at her FROM it. Kaylo began to walk away, but she was cut off by a very deep "Eeyahoo?" That came from the strange figure in the other room. That very same figure cracked a very big, and very toothy smile.

"Why hello there..." He said as he slowly stood up. The pink haired girl froze in place, this person was bigger than her dad! She couldn't move, especially when he rapidly spun towards her and bowed down in front of her "AND WELCOME!" He bellowed out, the force of his voice causing the girl to fall over.

Little Kaylo didn't know what was going on, so she did the most reasonable thing...

She ran.

She fled from the tall being, but since the door was locked, she needed to find another way out. She ran to a window, but found that even that was to tall for her to get too. Hearing his footsteps, Kaylo dove underneath a nearby table, hoping to keep hidden from the Tall being until her parents found her.

Balan found himself a bit sad for the child. She was so scared of something beyond her control. And she was very young to have found the theater already. However, the head of Pink hair did remind him of something...but he couldn't quite place his finger on it yet. But that could wait, right now he needed a way to coax the little girl out. That’s when he got an idea, calling back the pink Tim from earlier, he whispered the plan to it.

Back underneath the table, the pink haired child shivered as she waited for the strange being to go away. She perked up when she heard the small Tim snuggle up next to her. She gave the little Tim a uneasy look, as it was the one that made her come to the theater. However, the Tim did seem to want to be her friend, so she gently put it on her lap and began stroking it's fluff.

"I don't know why you brought me here...but It's better than home right now." Kaylo admitted sadly. The Tim perked up at her sadness "My mom and grandma were gonna do something to me. And I don't know what that is, and I don't wanna know what it is..." she said. "If I may ask, and you don't have to tell me, who exactly would your Mother and Grandmother be?" She heard the strange being ask from nearby. Kaylo hesitated. She knew her parents told her not to talk to strangers, but this guy didn't SEEM like a stranger...

"My mom and grandma are "Thea and Krista Bruno." She admitted. Balan's eyes widened. NOW he knew why she seemed so familiar! She was another descendant of the ever growing Bruno Family! He gave a smile "Well...A secret I'll let you know. I've met your family a long time ago." He said, standing near the table she was hiding underneath. Kaylo couldn't believe what she was hearing. "R-Really?" She asked.

"Yes. Thea and Krista come from a long time ago. So have your other family members you know." Balan told her "Cookie, Cherry, Catilin and More. I've even met Mirabella before." He said. Kaylo's eyes widened "You've met Really great Grandma Mirabella?" She asked. "In a way. But she was much different than she is today." Balan told her. "But I'd like to know of the newest generation, but you don't have to come out if it causes you hesitation." He said. Kaylo, while she was still a little frightened, was curious about this person who had met everyone in her family.

She slowly crawled out from under the table, enabling Balan to get a better look at her. He saw the small child, still clutching the Tim to her chest, as well as the pink hair that made her easy to spot. Her eyes, still shimmering with tears and her knees a little wobbly. Kaylo leaned up to look at the tall being looming above her, almost falling back as she did. Balan gently grabbed her hand before she fell "Careful now, see its alright. I'm a good person, I won't bite." He said, kneeling down to her height.

In doing so, this made Kaylo less afraid of him. Balan wiped a tear from her face "There now. See? You don't have to be afraid of me." He said with a smile. Kaylo gave him a small smile back before a piece of her pink hair fell into her face. She blew it back before turning her gaze back at Balan. "Now let's see what we can do, to get a smile out of you." He said, giving her a playful poke on her side. Kaylo giggled as he picked her up, and carried her into the theater.

With a snap of his fingers, some music began to play from an invisible orchestra and Balan did what he did best. He put on one heck of a show! During the entire performance, Kaylo's eyes sparkled at his many tricks and gimmicks, even so much as to INVOLVE her in one! With it all ending with a very big firework show. When it ended, the pink haired girl applauded for the maestro "Yay!! That was so cool!" She cheered.

Balan floated down to her level "Why thank you dear! But that's not the greatest thing you'll see here." He said, picking her up again. Kaylo grew curious of what he meant until, as almost on cue, Her entire family came into the theater calling out her name. "Mommy! Daddy!" She cheered, scrambling to get out of Balan's grasp. The maestro gently put her on the ground as she hugged her mother's legs "KAYLO!! My sweet Baby!! Promise me you won't do that again!" Thea cried, hugging Kaylo to her chest.

"Well. I guess she already found the theater. We might as well tell her." Cookie Bruno said. "Tell me what?" Kaylo asked, that uneasy feeling coming back. "Well dear...You see. Our family has a special connection to Wonderworld. Your great great great, a few more greats grandmother, Mirabella. She was one of the first people to ever see Wonderworld. And our entire family keeps Wonderworld's existence a secret. Because we have something that many people would want to get their hands on." Krista explained.

Kaylo was curious until Balan knew what she meant "Of course! Mirabella's book! Your family protects it from those who want to take a look." He said. Kaylo's eyes grew wide. She didn't know this before! "And now, it's time to pass on said secret to the next generation. You." Thea said. Kaylo didn't say anything. She was too in shock, she knew her family was hiding something from her, but she didn't know it was this. "Wow..." she whispered in awe. "Now keep in mind. This is something you MUST keep secret from anyone. Many people would want to learn this secret...bad people." Krista said.

That sent a shiver down her spine. Who would want to know about Wonderworld? "That's a thought not now needed for you. But if a stranger asks you that question, what do you do?" Balan asked. "Don't talk to them." Kaylo said. The maestro cheerfully clapped his hands "I'd say she knows what to do! That deserves a reward! Yes you do!" Balan said, pinching her cheek. Kaylo giggled before another piece of her pink hair came falling into her face. She blew it out of the way, and Balan got an idea.

He twirled his finger around until a small piece of cloth formed around it. "Here little Kaylo, a small gift to show. A hairband with the same print from Mirabella Bruno." He said. Thea put the new hairband onto Kaylo's head, just as the pink haired girl Began to fall asleep. "I think our little girl has had enough excitement for one day." Stefan said, patting her head "Thank you Balan for finding her." Thea said. Balan waved it off "Oh please, Don't thank me. She was bound to know eventually." He said. "He's got a point." Catilin said.

"Fair enough. But let's let her sleep. She's had a long day." Thea said as she headed for the doors. Balan waved them off as Kaylo caught one more glimpse of him before she fully slept, giving her own wave, and a very sleepy

Maestro Hiccups 2 Nightmares Unleashed Part 3

A brief vision flashed until Cal's mind while he heard Balan's voice "Cal of you can hear this, It means I need you here. Lance now has the hiccups I fear, Something is wrong, I can feel it in me, for Lance's hiccups make your worst fears reality..." He heard him say as the pain in his head vanished just as quickly as it appeared.

Cal shook his head in shock, LANCE had the Hiccups? This was not good. It was only a matter of time before Reality started to unravel again. Scrambling to his feet, Cal quickly ran out of the suite, to get downstairs to warn the others. However, In his haste, he had accidentally bumped into Lucy, knocking the both of them to the floor.

The two of them blushed like crazy, staring DEEPLY into each other eyes before Cal snapped out of it and shook out of his stupor "Lucy! We need to get the others, Lance now has the hiccups and we NEED to go to the theater!" He explained quickly, scurrying of of Lucy and back to his feet. Lucy took a minute to register what Cal just said "Lance has the hiccups?! But...reality isn't unraveling." She pointed out.

Cal opened his mouth, but realized she had a point. The city still looked to be the same, nothing out of the ordinary was happening, even his OWN appearance hadn't been changed (unlike what happened with the Carmen dress). "Yeah, but I had a vision. And it was Balan, and-" Cal was cut off by Lucy placing a finger to his lips "I think that you're thinking about what happened before, but we all came here to relax Cal...maybe you just had a nightmare." She said.

The Chess champion tried to justify what he saw, but his mind was still both reeling from his nightmare, and Balan's message and vision...but it could just be a result of him still thinking of what happened when HE got the hiccups. Lucy put a gentle hand on Cal's shoulder "Maybe you should come down with me and the others, we're all gonna have some fun!" She said with a smile.

Cal looked at Lucy and felt his mind go blank. Her beauty starting to get the best of him again. To the point that he started go unconsciously nod his head. Lucy gave a big smile as she grasped his hand "C'mon then! Let's go!" She said, gently pulling him to follow her as they went to explore around the hotel.

Meanwhile, Back in Wonderworld...

Balan panicked. That's all he could seem to be doing right now. He was so caught up in his panic, that he couldn't think straight. While he was panicking, he had unconsciously cloned himself into 6. There were now 6 versions of the Maestro...and all of them had the Negati Marks.

"OH NO, OH DEAR!! IT'S MUCH WORSE THAN I FEAR!!" He yelled. The Tims watched worriedly as their caretaker has split himself in 6, but also as 2 of the frantically went to make the Wonder Fruit Tea to cure Lance's hiccups. One of the clones spotted the small positi, and slowly went to them "Oh sweet Tims, I'm sorry to have you worry, but things are getting bad for Lance, and I need to hurry." He told them.

Shiro Went over to Balan's leg and snuggled against it, letting out a worried 'Timmu' Balan felt his heart almost shatter as he pet her "It's alright Shiro, It'll be alright, I'll give Lance the tea, no need for fright." He said. Shiro let out a chirp before one of the clones had come back, even more panic in its eyes.

"There is something wrong, an explanation we need, the Wonder Fruit isn't working, the Cure won't succeed."
