Ghost Story by InsaneTrollLogic (gen), 12k, Haunting, Unreliable Narrator It starts with the phantom sound of laughter, glimpses of motion just out of sight, a boy in a tattered Robin suit, and the sneaking suspicion that not all of Jason made it back from the dead.

prologue, part one: he's a rescue by ijustmightwing (gen), 2k, First Meetings Jason Todd met Selina Kyle with blood in his teeth and a wrench in his hand. Before Batman, Jason Todd meets Catwoman and learns a skill or two.

White Lighters / Afterglow by lurkinglurkerwholurks (gen), 3k, Whump Jason Todd was the worst kind of liar.

Requiem by scandalsavage (gen), 4k, Angst, Time-Travel He blinks as his brain takes it’s sweet fucking time processing what his eyes are seeing.      “So you’re me, huh?” the kid says, rocking back and forth from his heels to his toes like he can’t sit still for three god damn seconds.     “That’s pretty cool. You’re huge.”      Jason hates him. He hates those stupid fucking curls. He hates that stupid bubbly energy. He hates that fucking earnestness, that eagerness to please. He hates that goddamn costume.      He hates the way the kid clings to Bruce’s shadow.     He despises that hand Bruce has on his shoulder.

For Those Who Can't by GoAwayOlivia (gen), 8k, Case Fic, Violence They don’t understand him at all. There is no setting him off, that’s not the way it works. And he doesn’t go on violent sprees. Jason kills when the situation demands. That’s it. Plain and simple. He doesn’t lose his temper and murder any asshole that pisses him off. Every kill is a decision that he makes, and every decision is carefully weighed and measured with a cool head. He only ever kills because the person deserves to die.

It is only, and all about Roy by chucklesbuckles (Roy Harper/Jason Todd), 5k “Great, you fucked yourself and the rest of your Star City crime fighting pals, & now you’ve fucked me too. What did you do to the windows? Missile proof glass?” He dug around in his pocket, shooting Ollie a no doubt very dirty look.      “What are you doing?” Ollie asked, so very tired already of dealing with this shitshow of a human.      “Building a bomb. Duh,” he said, petulant.

The Whale by chucklesbuckles (gen), 10k, BAMF!Jason, POV Outsider, Prison Parker jumped down from the bed and drug a plastic chair from the rec room over. It’s legs screeched across the floor. “Now, I wanna be clear. I know you, rightfully, won’t believe me, but I don’t actually enjoy hurting people.” He climbed up on the chair, situated back by Colton’s knees. He leveled the hammer at his face. “I’m not, like, a sociopath.” He let out a musical laugh. “I honestly get a little squeamish with gore.” He patted Colton’s thigh with his free hand, blowing out a regretful breath. “I know what it’s like, you know. I was beaten half to death once. True story! The jackass did it all wrong though.” He reached up, patted his cheek.

Who You Needed by inki_Bat (gen), 6k, Time-Travel "He got another one?"      Bruce flinches. Visibly flinches. Steph makes a noise as if she's about to speak but her mouth clamps shut at a look from Dick. Jason steps closer, trying to get a better look. Another Robin is not exactly surprising, even with Damian still in the role. Infuriating, but not surprising.      But no, that isn't it. This all seems too familiar. Damian is staring at him with unconcealed nosiness.      "Bruce," he can hear his voice shaking. "What the fuck is that?"

I’m not an active part of the Mouthwashing fandom (I hardly interact with it tbh) but I’ve been thinking about an AU for a while. Is this a Good End AU, or a Bad End AU? Who fucking knows, but I think its fun!

Summary under the cut bc it’s a bit long!

Concept: at the point where Curly is surprised for his birthday, he goes to tell the crew that they’ve been laid off by the company, but they’re interrupted by a warning over the ship’s intercom: there is a damaged ship, one from their company’s fleet, nearby. Daisuke and Anya are interested in exploring it, perhaps saving any survivors, yada yada. Most negatives are reasoned with and they securely dock to the ship.

(Logistically, is this possible? IDK! Their ship might not be one that can dock to others, it might just have an entrance, but it has a docking port for this AU!)

Once inside, they see that it is a TOTAL WRECK. Everything is in disarray and decay, there’s foam everywhere (but thank god the Pony Express ships are so uniform, this ship’s layout is so close to theirs they can figure out where to go.) and half the ship is covered in empty bottles of mouthwash they find in the cargo bay. (“Damn,” they think, “these poor chumps got this beat up toting mouthwash of all things.”) Then, they find the bodies, though by this point they’re little more than bones and detritus. Unrecognizable, but with wounds that suggest crew in-fighting. (They’re set around the table in a horrific display. They cannot figure out why.)

Most of the ship is abandoned. There are seemingly no survivors. And yet, they find someone in the cryo-pod! Still alive! And it is the most injured, fucked-up person they’ve ever seen. But hey, they’re alive, so they can keep them that way. They get back in their ship and continue their journey. Perhaps they even recover the corpses of the crew in an effort to bring someone closure. Who knows, authorities ought to be able to DNA ID the bones, at least.

Of course, the ship is the Tulpar, and thats them they found. Post-game, after years of decay, but still them. By whatever means, they’ve been sent back to the past to be dealt with. (I like the idea of a wormhole, simply because thats such a time-travel cliche when it comes to space).

And because they interrupted the birthday event, none of the crew know that they’re being laid off. Curly knows about Anya, but she hasn’t told Jimmy. Jimmy is woefully in the dark, and thus doesn’t crash-out in a couple days when they pass the meteor. Speaking of, Curly and Anya are a bit busy with the injured person and the corpses (and hey! If that gives Anya a reason to stay in the medbay, well, she isn’t complaining.) Curly feels guilty he’s keeping the layoff from his crew, but they’re in a pretty odd, stressful situation right now and they don’t need that info on top of it.

Post-game Curly is having a very bad time. He’s pretty convinced, for the first good few days he’s conscious, that he’s dreaming or hallucinating. Perhaps the cryo-pod failed, and he’s slowly dying? Perhaps he’s in hell for his sins? Either way, the people he sees are figments in his eyes, and he’s falling off the deep end. After a bit, and with some coaxing, he begins to believe that it is real, but it confuses him about what is true. It isn’t until he gets confirmation that the Curly he sees is real, that the Jimmy he sees is real, that he realizes what is happening, and he tries to communicate with the crew, to warn them about the future.

(I don’t have much in mind after this point because of how open it becomes. Literally anything is possible)

Many things could happen. Maybe Anya is still nauseous about giving Curly his pills, so she has someone - Jimmy, in the worst situation - do it for her when she’s ill (he isn’t kind to the injured man, and the injured man does not respond well to him. He gets replaced by Curly, and no matter how kind Curly is the injured man seems more upset.) Maybe someone finds the layoff notice before Curly can explain to the crew. Maybe Jimmy tries something with Anya in the medbay, but Curly stops him (finally, finally doing something for her.) Maybe Jimmy tries to tell his Curly that he really doesn’t like the injured guy, that there’s something wrong with the way he looks at him, they need to do something about that. Maybe Curly can tell Anya who he is, get her to warn her Curly to beware Jimmy, to do something about him before he does something. Maybe Anya reaches out to the others before the crash. Maybe Swansea, or Daisuke figure out who the bodies are, finally realizing that there were far too many similarities in that wrecked ship to write off. Maybe Jimmy finally snaps and attempts to sabotage the ship.

Maybe it works, and the crew are once again stuck in hell, waiting for death. Maybe the crew are ready, and he fails and is dealt with.

At least Curly can try to atone for his mistakes. At least they have an opportunity to survive.

Skywalker stares at him. Fox takes off his helmet to show his face, just so Skywalker knows that he is, in fact, a clone.

“Chancellor’s a Sith Lord,” Fox repeats. “I don’t have real proof. You are going to help me get it.”

“The Chancellor,” Skywalker says, slowly, like he’s convinced Fox is the crazy one, “is not a Sith Lord. The Jedi would know.”

“Jedi are busy, and Sidious is a good liar,” Fox dismisses. “You, he likes you. He wants to make you his next apprentice, after he has Dooku taken out. He’ll call you Vader. The armor is going to be stupid.”

Skywalker just stares at him.

“I’m not crazy,” Fox says, even though that does in fact make him sound crazy. “I’m from the future.”

LAWLU FIC IDEA: APOCALYPSE TIME-TRAVEL AU

Growing up, I've always loved time-travel fics especially in the Harry Potter, Naruto and Katekyou Hitman Reborn fandoms. But as I've grown older, I find that I prefer to avoid time-travel fics unless its of an apocalyptic nature because I think its hellavu strength to move forward even when given the chance to change the past.

I dunno, I just feel like it diminishes a chara, their journey or story when they travel back in time to save loved ones. Dont get me wrong, anyone would want that chance given the opportunity but honestly, I prefer time-travel when its literally world ending instead of just because of one specific character

I dunno if I'm explaining this right, though 😅

Anyways, the premise for this is that whether it's Imu or Blackbeard as the cause, the world ended. To ensure that doesn't happen, LawLu combined their powers via exchanged hearts and rewinds time which erased their doomed future until they returned to a time where they can make a difference

I still don't know in which point of time they'd return yet

Not when they're kids though, tempting as that may be. I think either after Marineford (because of how things started to shift) or during Punk Hazard (the Gear speech) would be good

But as I'm writing this, I feel like meeting at Sabaody after the 2 years timeskip would be very interesting so I'm leaning towards that

One things for sure, because of them exchanging hearts is one of the main factors for them rewinding time, they'd have each other's hearts when they return to the past. It's one of things that helps convinced them that their doomed future was not a very vivid nightmare

Anyways, I'd love it if their crews would follow. I'd bet it would be chaotically epic 😆

So yeah, the world is gonna be turned upside down because this time, the Alliance is very much a marriage dammit!

Sci-Fi 3.1

Concept:

Someone with the ability to time travel goes into the past and has an encounter with someone they come back to the future to avoid. Perhaps a relationship of some kind gone wrong, or perhaps a However, they find out that the person they encountered is actually immortal and is waiting for them in the present.

Character Ideas:

The time-traveler. How did this character get this technology, and why are they using it? If this a job, passion, or inheritance? Is it borrowed, stolen, or otherwise ill-gotten? Or are they a genius or somehow related to a genius? What is the goal this time-traveler has in going backwards and forming relationships/having adventures? Are they lonely, a romantic, or perhaps looking for some kind of material gain?

The immortal. The first thing to think about is why this character is immortal. Are they a mythical being, like a vampire, or are they inflicted by some kind of curse/blessing that means they're immortal? Perhaps they're using science to prolong their life; maybe they're an alchemist or are able to see into the future. Maybe they drank a wizard's life work without realizing what it was or did! Whatever you decide, it's sort of petty to wait so long just to surprise a time-traveler, huh? What exactly happened to spark such devotion to surprising someone no matter how long the wait?

A character who exists to react to what our time-traveler is doing. This could be their boss, if they're using time-traveler through work. It could be a relative or a good friend who knows about what's happening. Maybe this person supports them in what they're doing or maybe this person really, really does not. If you're writing a dramatic romance, maybe this person is a lover or spouse and this new relationship has just complicated things.

Things to Think About:

What does a world in which characters have access to time-travel look like?

Is your immortal the only one? Are there more like them?

Time-travel might be instant but waiting is not. How has the time-traveler changed in the years between their first encounter and their meeting again?

How is our poor time-traveler going to explain this to everyone else in their life? How is the immortal received?
