i created a small ten minute byler fangame called "not possible". I know Its not much, but I think its pretty neat. I wanted to share it on here, just to share my latest passion project. (btw this was a one man project so you cant be mean about it, those are the rules.)

I am so burnt out and tired and unmotivated and my fucks have all run off but I also still have to get stuff done. My forward momentum has slowed to a crawl and it reminds me that this is what we're supposed to be doing this time of year. Resting and restoring not running around even faster in a frenzy. It's hibernation time. The big lemon is gone.

Why doesn't the rest of the world observe this????

hi petal, a reminder that rest isn’t a reward- or a request but a requirement in the blooming process. we all need our rest in order to do and act our best! yes of course your darling buba needs zer rest too. thats what this cocoon is for love bug! everyone deserves a place to feel safe and comfy when things feel chaotic and overwhelming and i’ll always be here to read, sing, hum and coo us both into dreamland. so please my little leaf, let us rest together and always remember how cherished and cared for we are both inside and out of this caregiving cocoon.

moving houses as an autistic person is my actual nightmare.

i’m moving this weekend and i just want to hibernate through it. i want to bury myself somewhere deep in the ground and just come out when it’s all over. i referred to this feeling as wanting to “shelter in place,” to my therapist. the panic. the dissociation. the freeze and flight responses.

if any other autistic adults have experience moving, esp if u live in nyc, i would love any advice

Hibernation should be mandatory for all living beings, great or small. As soon as it gets too cold it should be mandatory nap time with food and reading breaks. I have spent the last month being outlandishly tired, stressed and yearning to be curled up for days at a time.

I reject the way of humanity, I embrace the way of the snail. Come get me in 3 years when the globe is too warm to have winter.
