Day fourteen of “obligatory sugar baby Kon” behind the cut. tw: mentions of past grooming/abuse prev: (( chrono || non-chrono ))
“Don’t take this the wrong way, but I think your life might be a little bit insane,” Tim says, now increasingly certain that Kon is just a living weirdness magnet and it is therefore his fault that every single Young Justice mission so far has been objectively buck-wild and borderline deranged. Previously he was just blaming the concentration of teenage superheroes with very different power sources and specialties and personalities all stubbornly jammed into one even more stubborn team, but “previously” did not include all the necessary data or any stories about gargoyle-riding supermodels possessed by dead gunslingers.
Tim has heard some stories in the community, for sure, but that is a story.
“I mean, Hex and Grokk aren’t that weird, are they?” Kon asks with a shrug. “Not any weirder than the Event Horizon was, anyway.”
“The what?” Tim asks, because Kon definitely said that like it was something’s name and not a metaphor for something or an actual event horizon.
“Oh, sorry, the Event Horizon was this club I used to hit up with some buds,” Kon says as he snags three more grilled cheese(s?) off the stack and stacks them to bite through all three at once like some kind of unholy and incredibly greasy and buttery club sandwich or something. Tim is somehow morbidly fascinated, vaguely grossed out, and sort of charmed all at once. “It was always moving, was the thing, so there was this handstamp thing we all had that we used to teleport over whenever we wanted to party. Neverending space rave, basically, so you didn’t have to worry about hours or last call or anything. Club kinda got obliterated, though, so I actually dunno know if the teleport trick still works or where it’d send me if I tried usin’ it now?”
It is definitely Kon’s fault that Mxyzptlk happened to them, Tim decides.
“Oh, cool,” he says, and because after tonight he officially does not trust anyone who Kon has spent time with in a party environment, much less at an intergalactic rave–“Do you still hang out with them? Anybody I’d have heard of?”
“Uh, not really. And . . . I don’t think so?” Kon shrugs. “Sparx, maybe you mighta. Otherwise it was Aura, Kaliber, Hero, and, uh–Half-Life. Also Hero’s dog was kinda around. Or maybe Hero was, like, Rex’s . . . uh, pet, or whatever? Or they were just roommates? Situation unclear there, honestly.”
“How is that an unclear situation?” Tim asks with a frown, a little confused by that one. That’s not–
“Rex was, like, this super-soldier war hero mystic type, and like, he could talk and whatever, so I don’t really get what was going on there,” Kon clarifies between bites of grilled cheese, which clarifies absolutely nothing. “I guess he was a WWII vet, but he drank from the Fountain of Youth or something? Also went to the moon once and used to be in the circus. Super-weird dude. Or dog, whichever.”
. . . . . . it is definitely, definitely Kon’s fault that Mxyzptlk happened to them, Tim amends.
“Never mind, I get it now,” he says, and Kon laughs, and then–hesitates, for a moment, and suddenly seems very interested in the last couple bites of his unholy abomination of a grilled cheese stack.
“Hero was cool,” he says, his tone a little–off. Tim pauses himself, and wonders why. And also wonders if this “Hero” guy is actually somebody he needs to put on his supervillain hit list, considering.
“Was that seriously his codename?” he asks, and Kon grins.

In terms of trying to transplant how Dick’s generation grew up to independent adult heroes onto Tim’s generation, one of the significant issues is that the two groups have very different backstories.
The Fab Five and their generation were largely cared for children with present guardians during their teen years. Their ‘growing up’ rebellion moments were about wanting to establish their own identities separate to their parent/guardian. Then once NTT occurred and new young adult characters were added to it, you had a bunch who were escaping overbearing guardians with expectations the young adult didn’t want to fulfil, and leaving trauma behind.
The Core Four and other 90s heroes, in contrast, were mostly latchkey kids. They had loving but absent parents and parental figures. They were largely expected to grow up and show they were independent in their early teens. The arcs of their stories were not about growing up and finding themselves and ‘be your own person’, but about learning to trust others and interdependency and working together.
Like the shape of a Fab Five story is ‘in my preteens or earlier a Disaster Happened and I was taken in by a hero who cared for me and taught me the business as their sidekick. Then around 18-20 I moved out to live in a sharehouse with my friends as I wanted to find who I was outside of the shadow of being a sidekick’.
While…Tim’s generation largely aren’t sidekicks in the same sense. The shape of THEIR stories are of ‘teenager with largely absent adults is expected to grow up and show emotional maturity too early’. It’s actually notable that Tim, Kon and Bart all have long term story arcs that involve gaining a stable household right near the end.
Kon’s entire solo is the story of how he is neglected and exploited by every adult around him. He doesn’t have parents. He’s Peter Pan, the little boy who cannot grow up, who lives without parental expectation. He’s a celebrity kid exploited by Rex Leech and by CADMUS, who’s expected by those around him to act in an adult manner and held to that standard while simultaneously specifically being underage and not having the right to make his own decisions. His final arc in Superboy is about being so abandoned he doesn’t even have CADMUS to depend on anymore so he has to find an apartment and a job (the building superintendent) and is expected to act and function like an adult in that position. Superboy #59 (FIFTY NINE) is when Kon finally gets his own name. Superboy #100 is ABOUT Kon moving in with Jonathan and Martha Kent and finally having a stable home environment where he can be a child. Heck Kon’s already had a story where he’s ‘married’ and responsible for a kid. He’s had solo space adventures.
Bart’s solo is about Bart and Max learning to be a family together, but also: Bart’s childhood didn’t contain parents. Meloni turns up occasionally through his solo and loves him but also has to disappear away back to the 30th century at the end of each appearance. The final arc of Bart’s solo is about him moving in with Jay and Joan Garrick for more stability, because Max has disappeared (and stays disappeared). And then, post his solo, Bart even already has HAD an arc where he had to grow up and assume the Flash mantle (which went horribly wrong and led to his death).
Tim? Tim’s entire solo is about upheaval and change. The first time he’s expected to behave as an independent hero, not a sidekick, is literally Robin #1 when Azbats kicks him out of the Cave. Jack threatens to send him away to boarding school on multiple occasions and DOES for the Brentwood arc. He loses Jack, he loses Dana, he moves out to be a hero caring for his own city at 16, in Bludhaven post War Games. Bruce’s adoption of Tim was all about giving him back that sense of stability and support so that Tim had people backing him up again in his personal life and not only as a hero. And then he does the ‘leave and get a new identity’ thing during Red Robin.
And Cassie? Cassie starts with a loving mother and her story arc over becoming a hero is about periods of operating on her own. She moves away from her mum to go to Elias School. Due to operating as a hero under her own name she eventually has to come up with the alias of Drusilla Priam to give herself a non-public identity to retreat to (and isn’t living with Helena Sandsmark but renting on her own during this period to protect Helena).
This is a set of characters for whom it makes no narrative sense to tell a story of them growing up by ‘moving out and finding their own identity as separate heroes’ because their entire PAST is about being alone and looking for connections and people to rely upon. They haven’t been looking for their mentors to accept them as independent adults, they’ve been looking to their mentors to be present and work with them.
They have already all BEEN through the steps of moving out (while underage) and learning to look after themselves as nobody else was there to support them. Growing up for them is about learning to trust and be respected for the skills they already have and trusted to know what they’re doing, rather than leaving to show they can operate independently.
And that’s a harder narrative to show, because it’s a less common growth story in our culture. But in the Core Four’s case, I’d argue a lot of the traditional signifiers of adulthood (moving out; moving away for education; taking responsibility for a city on their own; travelling for quests) are things they were already expected to do while still significantly underage, and so sending them through that plot again isn’t showing anything new to allow them growth. What they need is the adults around them to treat them as adults for the things they already can and do do.

Toy Story: Content Masterlist 🚀🌵🍒⊹₊ ⋆
Trying to compilate every possible movie, short film, animation test, animated commercial, behind the scenes video, DVD extras and more into one single post, in chronological order and where to watch. All of these were produced by Disney and Pixar (or used under license by other companies) but not all of them are considered canon. I'm not a specialist on the subject and I've been making this list by myself so I would be grateful if you had info or content to share with me that is missing or incorrect on this list. This masterlist will constantly be edited since I'll always be adding new links, so it's really important to reblog only the latest versions of this post, or else you might be missing stuff.
Names in bold have links in them, except for the titles. Names without, don't.

Edit: I just noticed that the amount of extra content from the DVDs is HUGE. You can search about the extra content in Toy Story DVDs. A single DVD has, I don't know, around 20+ extra stuff? I won't add all of them here, just the ones that I found while searching for other stuff because they were already here.

List with every Toy Story game ever.
Cancelled media:
Princess Academy — a short film that would include all the female characters from Disney and Pixar, according to the fandom wiki, "interacting with each other, singing, dancing and enjoying each other's company in a royal boarding school". Jessie and Bo Peep were included in concept arts and the songs would be composed by Alan Menken. But the short film was cancelled due to Disney firing most of their 2D animators and closing it's 2D studio in march 2013. (I'm so pissed I would have LOVED to see this)
Toy Story Wonderbook — A cancelled Toy Story game from 2013. There are concept arts, the creators wanted to have the characters in a paper toy style like in a storybook and they would be in tons of different adventure scenarios. According to David Hamblin on the website Artstation, (an artist involved in the project): "Unfortunately with the coming of Playstation 4 and PSVR Wonderbook as a platform was no longer a priority".

Should I include a park attraction topic? It's a quite huge list.

hi you wanna get into my silly little steampunk bands so bad [mini guides on where 2 start getting into the cog is dead , steam powered giraffe , and the mechanisms] [they call me the normaler]
the cog is dead: it doesnt really have a set story as much as the other 2 bands , you can kinda just shuffle em . Or listen to the albums in order or whatever you decide to do !! The band's backstory which you can find on their website [but im explaining it here cuz im normal] is the lead singer , john sprocket , was a clockmaker in the late 1800s . then a guy named hamilton invented the electric clock [causing the death of the cog] , so sprocket and a mechanic named renate goodwin made a time machine to see what effect the electric clock had . During their journey they find someone , bradley harrington III , in an apple barrel . They decide to make him the ship navigater . They arrive to the 21st century and are shocked to see the cog is completely wiped out , so they decide to devote their lives to bringing back the cog through musical entertainment
Steam powered giraffe: their story is on their website's lore page , only one of their albums is centered around one story . That album is the vice quadrant which you should probably save for after you figure out their main story . You dont have to do this really , but i HEAVILY recommend you listen to all of their albums in order from release date [album one [both versions] -> the 2 cent show -> etc etc] . Their backstory is pretty long so im not gonna explain it here but its on their website you should read it . :3 . they have alot of mini stories inside the bigger story [ie: rex marksley , airheart , captain albert alexander] .
The mechanisms: you Have to listen to their albums in order for this one . my suggested order is: once upon a time in space -> ulysses dies at dawn -> high noon over camelot -> the bifrost incident -> death to the mechanisms . You can switch up the order however but make sure death to the mechanisms comes last . You can put tales to be told 1 and 2 + frankenstein anywhere in there it doesnt really matter . Tales to be told 1&2 dont tell one story its a ton of story songs mixed together . Frankenstein is a single . Their albums tell different stories based on different things [ie: once upon a time in space is based on fairy tales , high noon over camelot is based on aurthurian legend] , the band members each have their own backstories but they each have 2 things in common: 1, dying somehow and 2, getting mechanized after dying . Getting mechanized is where you get the/an organ that caused your death replaced with a metal version , that also grants you immortality . for example , gunpowder tim died from his eyes getting burnt out and his mechanism is his eyes . theres a ton more lore on their website you should check out , theres little stories about their album characters and the band members . Theyre so good im normal
#Hi guys sorry .i have auitsm#If ypu guys have any quastions you can send me an ask btw . I love rambling

Gunpowder Tim is a descendant of Rex Marksley (finest marksman in the west). This means he is also indirectly related to Ravaxis Starburner (space cowboy who indirectly saved both a planet from being eaten and the cosmos from being torn up by a pair of space gods).
I just want to connect Steam Powered Giraffe to the Mechanisms
i do not listen to steam powered giraffe but i support your space cowboys !

Okay so I just rewatched Jurassic Park -- it had been several years and wow I can't believe Spielberg got real dinosaurs!!!
lmao jokes aside I feel inclined to categorize it as adventure/horror, actually very similar to how I would categorize Jaws, arguably his best film (or, at least, my favorite of his filmography.) Both films are about Man versus Nature, but explored differently. In Jurassic Park it's Man Screwing Around With Nature (and Woman inherits the earth), whereas in Jaws, Nature simply decides to inconvenience Man's attempts at cashing in on summer tourism opportunities. To be fair, the dinosaurs also fuck up Man's attempt to capitalize on their discovery, and you know what good for them.
But, in both cases, we're dealing with super-predators -- I think it's fairly clear that the shark in Jaws is characterized as not an ordinary animal, but something much more dangerous and bloodthirsty -- that are nevertheless just acting off of instinct. When the T. Rex "intervenes," attacking the Velociraptors and allowing our heroes to escape, I see it as a deus ex machina: Grant, Sattler, and the kids got really lucky. I also think Spielberg seems more sympathetic to the dinosaurs, who didn't ask to be born, compared to the shark, who has to be killed by the end in order for Brody to fulfill his character arc.
In a way, Brody and Grant are kinda inverses of each other. Brody is a family man, and it's his characterization as a good husband and father which puts him on board the Orca. Kids are getting attacked by the shark, including one of his. In order to assert his role as not only a town cop, but as a father, he has to eliminate the threat that the shark poses. He's scared shitless and hates the water, and we see him develop courage as the movie progresses. In contrast, Grant is good in a crisis and absolutely hates kids, lmaoooooo. So, his character arc is learning how to become a protector and father figure, in part by using his cool head and considerable amounts of knowledge in order to keep Lex and Tim safe. By the end of both movies, both male protagonists' brushes with horror -- one manmade, but both occupying a natural/unnatural space -- make them better fathers and better men. Spielberg's daddy issues fascinate me NGL

Security Measure
Characters: Red Hood/Jason Todd, Red Robin/Tim Drake, Batman/Bruce Wayne, Nightwing/Dick Grayson (mentioned).
Summary: Why is there a T-Rex in the batcave?
Word count: 1,048
Tags: Comedy, swearing, Bruce being a little shit, Dick not telling people anything, sibling bickering, father-son bickering.
Authors Note: I'm going off the older story of the T-Rex if anyone get's confused. Enjoy!
Jason's motorbike screeches to a halt when he arrives back in the Batcave. Tonight was uneventful, fortunately. No mass-Arkham breakouts to give him or his family a headache.
He puts his motorbike on its stand with his foot and clambers off it. He trudges towards the BatComputer in the centre of the cave and takes his helmet off in the process, and Jason ruffles his hair a little to rid it of its helmet-hair. As he walks, he looks up at the expanse of the cave.
A mass of green catches his eye and he looks up. The resident dinosaur (No, not Bruce) stands proudly in its area of the batcave. Its head points downwards towards him with its jaws agape, and Jason is sure that if he was an intruder, he'd be turning tail and sprinting away at the mere sight of it.
A silky hum of an engine alerts Jason of Red Robin's and Batman's arrival. The Batmobile comes to a steady stop nearby his motorcycle before its engine cuts out and Bruce exits, closely followed by Tim.
"I need your patrol reports within the hour, please." Bruce states, pulling off his cowl and sitting down at the Batcomputer.
"We got it, Bruce." Tim replies, taking off his own mask and depositing it on the table next to him.
Bruce, at the lack of response from his older son, turns in his spinny chair to Jason, who is still looking up at the T-Rex. "Jason? What's wrong?"
He doesn't look away, instead responding with: "Why the fuck is there a giant T-Rex in the batcave?"
At that, Tim and Bruce look up simultaneously.
"Actually, yeah," Tim adds, "I want to know too."
Bruce looks away from the T-Rex and looks at his sons, "You both asked that when you first became Robin respectively. Its a trophy, remember?"
"Yeah, but like- why a T-Rex?" Jason asks, finally looking down from his apparent infatuation with the dinosaur.
"What do you mean?" Bruce responds.
Tim pipes up. "Of all the trophies you have: TwoFace's giant coin, that creepy Joker card--"
"Which I still fucking hate by the way," Jason interrupts.
"Yes, Jason. We know," he replies before continuing with a dismissive wave. "--Why a T-Rex?"
"Why not?"
Both Jason and Tim respond at the same time, "Excuse me?"
"Why not?" he repeats, "Why not have a T-Rex in the batcave? We're rich, Jason."
"Well yes, I'm aware of that. But why not take an egg? Or maybe a smaller dinosaur? A Pterodactyl would've been cool."
"Yeah, or a Diplodocus!" Tim adds excitedly. Jason glances at Tim, scoffing.
"That's not a smaller dinosaur-."
"I don't see your point."
"Anyway-" Jason continues, harshly nudging his brother with his elbow, "I would've preferred a Pterodactyl. The T-Rex just takes up space at this point."
Bruce quirks a brow. "Do you even know the story behind it?" he asks.
"No?" Jason replies, phrased more like a question rather than a statement.
"I thought Dick told you?"
"Why would Dick tell us?"
"Because he was there, Jason."
"HE WAS?" Tim exclaims.
"Yes?" Bruce answers, as if it was obvious. "Dick and I got invited to a charity event as Batman and Robin at Dinosaur Island."
"And?"
"We got ambushed and animatronic dinosaurs attacked the two of us."
"Oh, of course. It couldn't be anything normal, huh?" Tim quips, putting his hands on his hips.
"Let me finish, Tim."
Tim sighs and puts his hands above his head in mock surrender.
"The dinosaurs were being controlled by a criminal named Stephen Chase. We apprehended him and took his animatronic T-Rex as a prize."
"So it's an animatronic?" Jason asks, looking back up at the dinosaur above him.
"Yes," Bruce deadpans, "Were you not listening?"
Jason shoots a look at Bruce and is about to reply with an insult but Tim speaks up before he can do so.
"Why the T-Rex, though? There are lot's of much cooler dinosaurs you could have chosen."
"Yeah," Jason adds, his voice laced with sarcasm, "Like a Diplodocus, for example." Tim gives Jason a dirty look, to which he responds with an exaggerated shrug.
Bruce smirks, "Can a Diplodocus do this?"
Bruce clicks a button on his utility belt and a grating, bellowing roar ricochets off the walls of the batcave and rattles the skulls of the two boys. They look up to see the T-Rex standing at full height, its head now pointed forward instead of down. Jason and Tim both take a step back out of reflex.
"Oh, what the fuck?" Jason exclaims, resting a hand on his holster.
"I'll take that as a no." Bruce chuckles, "Please don't shoot my dinosaur, Jason. I didn't think I'd have to say that today."
"Why the fuck do you still have it online?" Tim asks incredulously, a look of shock painted on his features.
"I reprogrammed it so it can be used as a security measure if the Batcave is attacked." Bruce replies calmly - as if there isn't a giant dinosaur in the middle of the batcave.
"A security measure? What the fuck does that mean?"
Bruce clicks the same button on his utility belt again and the dinosaur looks down at Jason. It opens its mouth again and a second deafening roar splits Jason's head. So much for not having a headache, eh?
"Please don't use such crude language in my cave, Jason." Bruce snickers.
"Now listen here-," Jason starts, pointing a gloved fingered at Bruce.
"You heard the man," Tim quips, a smirk pulling at his lips despite himself.
"I also heard the massive fucking robotic dinosaur, too," Jason retorts, smacking the side of his head to establish his point, "Who in their right mind would attack the Batcave anyway? "
"Hush."
"Not surprising."
"And the Court of Owls."
"The Court of Owls?"
"They didn't succeed."
"Clearly," Tim scoffs, "Otherwise, your identity would be thrown out the fucking window."
The T-Rex roars once again and Tim steps back for the second time, the smirk he was carrying prior now wiped from his face.
"Language, Tim." Bruce warns, a laugh tickling his throat.
"Go fuck yourself."
"Nope. I'm done with this. This is some weird fever dream. I'm going to bed and when I wake up in the morning none of this will have happened." Jason turns around and heads to the elevator of the batcave.
"I still need your patrol report, Jason." Bruce calls.
Jason turns around on his way and points two middle fingers up at Bruce before slamming the button in the elevator. The door closes on an irritated look--
--Is that a smile on his face?

Couch 2 80k - Exercise 1
Hello. This is the first ever post in this space. I am using this old misbegotten, ill-conceived Tumblr as a place to deposit my attempts at writing exercises as I make my way through Tim Clare’s “Couch to 80K” writing course. I went through this writing course a while back -- mostly. I didn’t complete it. I also didn’t keep my writings in one place, which I somewhat regret. I’ve fallen off my writing habit in recent months (a baby has something to do with this), and taking another crack at this writing course seems like a good way to try to get back into things.
The first exercise is very simple. Just spend 10 minutes coming up with as many names as you can. No genre or setting in mind. Just randomly spew out names. It’s harder than it sounds. Prompt 1: Names
dagthorn throgby. william the sextenth. wallop the muse. peter prance. dilly dally. thorn graves. dalmar g. rent. gallance. rupert wren. Paisley Turn. Trilla Quixot. Bean Grishop. Yeah That's Right. Villa Ro LaRue. Terrence Gallway. Che Lopez. Marcus Antoninus Gaius Rex. Gallo Hope. Face That Melts. Throngblow Icewild. Smurmy the Turd. Ragethistle Direfinger. Elexdandra. Polly Hangnail. Bifurcasti Weedo. Myriel Higgins. Owen McCready. Donna Lee Holbrook. Judge Sam Bishop. The Honorable Clytemnestra Baxter. sygmund signis insignia. Ace Jay Kleinfeldt. G.R. Danforth. Uldric Aethelbred. Blue Heron. Allwa. Benton Lickspittle. Rida Mathuen. Yenna Maxwell. Ol Brickabrack. Squinty Non. Wrigglegrak. Eru Aspestra. Agaxia Muon.
Anything usable there? No? Yeah, probably not.

We have officially breached containment from the greater tf fandom into the Tumblr ecosystem outside it. I feel a degree of explanation is warranted so the non robot obsessed crowd can understand the chaos happening here.
So Transformers as a franchise likes to reboot itself a lot. To the point where it's not really assumed that two different shows exist in the same continuity unless it's explicitly stated, most only tangentially related by a multiverse that we only take half-seriously. There was, however, a chunk of time from roughly 2010 to 2016 that hasbro attempted (and largely failed) to make a bunch of media that was supposed to be in the same universe, in (roughly) the same timeline. Most of the time it was pretty shaky and the only throughline was similar story beats about how the civil war that rendered Cybertron uninhabitable went down.
The exception, however, was the link between the shows Prime and Rescue Bots. The two shows ran around the same time and events in one show made tangible impacts on the other. Characters from Prime would show up in Rescue Bots for special episodes as well (though we never got the other way around, which I will never stop being mad about). Their interconnected nature is honestly unprecedented for tf shows that aren't direct sequels. The funny thing, though is the wild difference in vibes.
Prime was intended for their more mature audience. Heavily detailed 3d animation with complex, angular mech designs, a darker tone than most tf series, heavy casualties and more robo-gore than your average episode of samurai jack. (Also a lot of robot designs that both fans and Hasbro employees alike consider CRIMINALLY sexy).
And then there was Rescue Bots. With the youngest target audience of any tf show, and an animation budget of like $35 and half a turkey sandwich (but a writing team that refuses to stop being funny, characters that have me in a chokehold, an ost that does NOT need to go that hard, and an unnecessarily banger voice cast that includes tim curry for some reason. No I WONT stop shilling for this show.)
Rescue Bots, being geared towards a younger crowd, was allowed to play in a much sillier space than Prime was, emphasizing wild technology and it's fantastical applications (and, more often than not, how it can go so very wrong when safety precautions are ignored), but also occasionally delving into outright fantasy (hence the ghosts and the fairies).
So there exists a whole coherent timeline between these two shows where the Decepticons are having their Edgy and Serious political drama where everyone's trying to grab power, the Autobots are struggling just to keep their faction alive and keep the human kids they've adopted as their own safe, and then at the exact same time on Bumfuck Nowhere Island, Maine, there's a little group of four autobots Optimus is keeping very very far away from the war because Megatron would fold these goobers like lawn chairs at a barbecue, and theyre playing monopoly with the human family that adopted them before the next terrible accident at the explosion factory.
Also, just so you can see how the crossovers are handled.
Here's Optimus in Prime
And here's what's supposed to be the same version of this dude in Rescue Bots.
This guy will be in one episode of Prime, somberly contemplating the future of Earth, wondering how he could have done things differently and how less people could've gotten hurt, spend an episode of rescue bots having a wonderful little cave adventure and actually having fun for once, and then come back home in another episode of Prime only to get stabbed.
Also in one crossover episode he got a third mode as a T-Rex but his brain wasn't really meant to handle organic instincts, so he temporarily went feral and almost ate a guy alive. This was never addressed in Prime.
The vibes are insane and I would simply not have it any other way.
Things that canonically exist in the same world as transformers prime because they also exist in rescue bots:
-fairies
-ghosts
-time travel
-still-living dinosaurs
-optimus's third mode, the fucking t-rex
-a machine that cheats death and reverses the aging process
-skyrim, if blades making the arrow to the knee joke is to be taken at face value.
-mass displacement tech the way the fandom's been portraying it for ages
-the exact same altmode-locking paralytic virus from beast machines
-full-on mind control, effective on both humans and bots
-lycanthropy inducing fake meat
-a hal-9000-esque rogue AI intent on turning the world comatose to keep humanity maximally safe
-freaky Friday mind swapping
-time loops
-machine that forces you to sing in full musical numbers
-Allspark day, which is basically cybertronian new years day
We need to start subjecting the prime bots to the weirdass facets of their world.
#i will never stop pspspsing at prime fans to watch rescue bots if only for the bonus content of the tfp characters#are you not entertained?

For @tigerliliesandcherryblossoms, 💃🏼🍀🥹😶🌫️👾🌈🌊 and “kidnapping your soulmate for fun and profit”.
“Naw, man,” Superboy says confidently, grinning at him. “It’s great!”
Tim genuinely cannot imagine how it could even be mediocre. They’re very different people, obviously, but–always? Always being the hero persona?
Only being the hero persona?
Even normal celebrities dress down sometimes or try to sneak around under the radar. A celebrity superhero . . . how does Superboy even do anything? Ever? It’s not like he lives in a gated community or a wealthy area or around any other celebrities; he’s an anomaly in both Hawaii in general and in his neighborhood specifically, as far as Tim can tell. Well–as much as he’s in a “neighborhood”, anyway. There seems to be a decent amount of space between houses, which makes Tim wonder exactly how expensive this house was, especially since it’s basically right on the beach, but also it’s not in particularly good condition and–
God, he really wants a look at the setup of Superboy’s licensing deals, actually. And his bank balances and just anything like that. And specifically, Rex Leech’s finances in relation to those deals and balances.
Seriously, fuck that guy. Tim wouldn’t trust Rex Leech with his spare change, much less literally everything about the entire livelihood of a teen idol with limited legal personhood.
“Oh, cool,” he says with a very careful reissue of Civilian Smile #7, trying to sound like he isn’t actively fantasizing about faxing all of Rex Leech’s tax returns for the last entirety-of-Superboy’s-existence to the IRS with some very pointed notes in red pen.
Very pointed.

Tim: What do you call a blind dinosaur? Dr. Alan Grant: I don't know. What do you call a blind dinosaur? Tim: A Do-you-think-he-saurus. Dr. Alan Grant: Ha ha. Good one. Tim: What do you call a blind dinosaur's dog? Dr. Alan Grant: You got me. Tim: A Do-you-think-he-saurus Rex. ~ Jurassic Park, 1993
"Tapex Rex (Special Edition)" by The Space Cowboy, 2023
Arty-Fact: "Tapex Rex is a colorful explosion that merges a crowned T-Rex with the boldness of street art. With bright graffiti strokes and a childlike touch, it's a playful take on a mighty dinosaur. This piece is a fun invitation to explore imagination and see a prehistoric king in a whole new light." ~ The Space Cowboy
"Tapex Rex" has a secret… Concealed within the artwork lies a secret augmented reality animation made by the artist. A treasure of mystery that patiently awaits discovery, to be unveiled only when “Tapex Rex" steps into its everlasting home.

Tim would be delighted to have someone to plot and conspire with. Imagine the two of them putting together a conspiracy board about mythical creatures once Danny tells them about his half ghost status? Two sleep deprived boys tangled in red thread amidst articles and notes scattered about as the debate whether moth-man is real or not.
*The rest of the bat fam are concerned, especially when the two disappear for a few days and no one can track them due to Danny’s ecto interference. The bat fam go down to the cave to come up with away to find them, only to freeze at the sight of a giant fluffy moth the size of the T-Rex statue staring at them while Tim and Danny slept curled on its head after crashing into sleep once they returned to the cave.
**Danny and Tim went searching for Moth-man, found a confused and scared giant moth(Danny felt their emotions via his emotions sensing) and Danny cried and Bugged Tim until he agreed to adopt the giant moth because ‘it got transported to earth via a natural portal as a kid and has been so lonely and scared for so lonnnng Tim! They need a family! You guys took me in, we have the space! They’re scared Tim and they’ve been alone since they were practically a baby!’
Tim has flash back to when he still lived in Drake Manor and agrees. They go on a flight, scaring many populated areas and accidentally terrorize half of America before Danny remembers he can turn them invisible and/or portal them home.
***The Watchtower gets multiple reports of a giant moth ‘terrorizing’ the USA a only for Batman to call in and tell them he has it handled. Leaving them all confused as the report came in from the furthest state from Gotham, New Jersey.
Youngest adoptee!Danny (Alt ver)
Same concept of finding out ur adopted family isn't normal but different approach:
"Uh... Jason, can you get my screwdriver...?" Danny hesitantly asked the older male as he tinkered about on his new invention. "I— uh... Sorry, I'm a bit preoccupied right now."
Jason looked up from the couch (which was conveniently placed in a second workshop Bruce had specifically for his new ward, since, you know, the kid's by all means just a normal teenager. He doesn't even know their double life.) And shrugged, "sure, kid. Where's it?"
"My room, just on the desk, I think. I used it last night."
"You tinkered with your stuff in your room? At night?"
"...please don't snitch on Mr.Wayne"
"Stop doing that, then."
"*sigh* dully noted.."
Jason languidly made his way to Danny's room, clicking the door lock open. He flicked the lights on to see his brother's room; filled and decorated with stars and all things space. The younger male was definitely better at keeping things clean and tidy, that's for sure. Despite the various small inventions, books, and papers on the desk, his room was definitely tidy in a way.
He peered his eyes to the desk beside Danny's bed to see the very object he was looking for....and knocking it off the moment he wanted to grab it, great.
The thing rolled down the bed, causing Jason to inwardly groan on the fact that now he had to crouch down to reach for the screw driver.
He huffed and looked down to the bed, fully expecting to see the screw driver down there... Only to have his sight blocked by a news article.
He blinked, before squinting his eyes at the piece of paper, trying to read what's inside of it.
'Jason Todd pronounced dead by billionaire play boy Bruce Wayne.'
His eyes snap open as he immediately sat up. "What the hell..." He muttered as he eyed the bed suspiciously.
Jason hauled himself up, before prying the bed out of the frame and flipping it so that it leaned into the wall beside it and—
—"What the fuck?"
Danny thanked Alfred happily as the butler handed him his share of Dinner; it's a full table today, something quite rare within their hectic schedule.
He eats the dinner comfortably as his siblings chatter away... except for Jason who has been staring at him for the past 15 minutes.
"Todd, it's rude to stare." Damian chastised, to his rescue as always.
Jason seems to snap out of whatever trance he was in, before leaning back to his chair.
"You know, don't you?"
As if a pin dropped, the room became suffocatingly silent; everyone's tense from that one sentence alone, while Danny merely blinked in surprise.
"Damn, you saw my conspiracy board, huh?"

WIP Game
Okay so I've seen this around a few times, where you're supposed to list all the stories in your WIP folder and followers can ask about them/request snippets. And it did get me curious how ridiculous my list is because uh... I work on many stories simultaneously. And it's a WIP until it's finished or I decide I'm not writing it.
So yeah. Folks can ask about anything they want. I do not promise you will get an answer since I also included the count of [Redacted] WIP files I've got.
Everything is organized by Fandom and if I have multiple wips for a series, then the series has a subheader. Things in [brackets] are more commentary than wip, but I felt should be acknowledged when counting.
