I need a yj band au so bad like a thing they do together outside the capes,hear me out;

Kon- singer/ bass player

Cassie- electric guitar

Bart- drums

none of their mentors actually know they're in a band, they just think the kids are really into music, and also into this one indie band? they never heard of it before but the music seems to be getting more popular day by day.

the band mostly just releases the music online, they didn't get an insane amount of streams at first, but then a superhero(not in yj) ends up mentioning their music, and they pretty much blow up over night.

tim didn't join the band initially at first, he makes the excuse that he doesn't know how to play any instruments, and that he has no time to learn, plus if Batman found out he'd probably wouldn't approve and he doesn't want to bother and deal with that.

anyway later someone stumbles on him singing some insane notes which apparently he wrote. He's got a whole journal filled with his songs that he never showed anyone, until he joins the band.

so Tim would become the lead singer/songwriter, cause I cant really see him playing an instrument? I may change my mind tho

I saw @teafromthemicrowave make a malevolent band (the boykissers), and I got inspired to make a magnus archives band. Gerry is the lead singer, Tim on drums, Oliver on bass, and Michael on guitar. I don't have a name for the band yet, but this was a blast to make.

Introducing! The Lost Voices!

What happens when you toss in an Ex Hero, his “younger” and Older siblings(read Dani and Dan), His Two Partners, Red Robin on a Year long Vacay with his Partners Bernard and Kon and Ember the Pop Rock Ghost In one Van?

That's Right! Band Au bitches!!!! Well band and food truck au since I hc Bernard as Totes tone deaf.

Ok so

Danny! He retired, in desperate need of a new Vacation and Hobby.

And surprisingly Ember absolutely went wild when she invited him to ghost karaoke.

So his wail gave him a sirens voice, that's new. Welcome!

Wait. What if he made a Band?

Turns out Tucker is a Wizard with a soundboard. And Sam plays the Bass and drums nicely.

And for a bit the four played gigs all over the place, a niche band called the Lost Voices. (Sam suggested and that earned a surprising Kiss from Ember. Hey! Poly Band time hehehe)

Sure Tucker pre-recorded the drums. But they All agreed they wanted a bit more. A fresher view.

So! Auditions!

Ok so Gay/Bi panic. And oh, the ancients were Tim and Kon good.

Tims voice a holy thing and his drum playing is even better.

And Kon!!! The piano was a surprise but man his fingers moved at a unmatched speed. Ok Danny *knew* they were semi death touched. Eh probably just liminal.

So they are invited! And they play in metropolis for a while and they start booming

Tim and Kon grin seeing a opportunity.

One Band van, one food truck and a Tour set up later? They are officially on the road and on tour for a Year. With Dan Driving and Dani happily along the ride they are set!

Tim did make it clear its a vacation and he would send postcards unless it's monthly call or emergency.

Babs is still laughing because he forgot to mention he is in the band that's rising faster then Canaries old band.

Oh well, time to remind Dick and Bruce to not constantly call.

i’m back on my singer tim drake au bs(sue me he’s my current fixation and im always obsessed with music so take it or leave it).

okay so after the bruce quest he decides he can’t do the vigilante bs anymore, and bruce will be back so WE can be ran remotely until he’s got it again. he leaves gotham not long after the ra’s thing. he picks a new alias and decides he will finally use the vocal lessons his parents made him take when he was younger. and he starts a band, some how cassie, bart, and kon(since they are also back from the dead and cult shit now and if that’s not the timeline,,, it is now) find him while he is in the beginning stages and they are like fuck it let’s be a band. they blow up and fast, bc plot  convenience. so it’s only like a year after bruce quest, bruce has taken WE back and the batfam has just been busy. they are vigilantes shit never stops for them; they just got their dad back into fully working order, they are still acclimating dami, there is some shifting of suits and responsibilities happening. all this meaning the fact that tim never came back just,,,, got lost in the shuffle. so now that everything is slowing down they are like,,, wtf,, where is tim? they spend a while searching for him but the trail goes cold bc aliases and tim is damn good at hiding when he wants to. they eventually have to put it on the back burner. but then one day, maybe now it’s been about another year since they started looking for him, and dukes favorite band is coming to town. the wayne’s all decide to go, even jason is gonna go under the guise as a body guard for the fam. and color them shocked when they see kon settle behind a drum set, bart come bouncing on stage with a guitar and cassie grinning with a bass. they’ve all been missing for just a couple months less than tim. and then their breath is stolen as they see him. it’s fucking tim,,, walking right on stage as if he hasn’t been the center of a bat hunt for the past YEAR, smiling with a microphone in hand and asking the crowd if they are ready to get going. even more shocked with the first notes of a song starts playing and he makes direct eye contact with each and every one of them and calmly says, “this songs for you, you know who the hell you are.” and starts singing. I like to think the song is “love from the other side” by fall out boy. there are just so many parallels to parts of tim’s story(the fannon ver. anyways, im still working on the comics) and lines in the song(i’ll expand in the comments this is already long as hell)

and they are taken aback, why the hell is he so angry. and then dick specifically is reminded of how he treated tim right before he left. how at the time he thought tim was going to fine, and dami just needed him more. so tim just fell to the wayside. a running theme recently. and from the few times they had to deal with ra’s while looking for tim, it sounds like he went through some shit, and then he left. and they are at a loss. struggling with wrapping their heads around it all. and then the concert is over, and they are left scrambling, hoping to talk to tim before he’s gone in the wind again.
