Fon was the Strongest Storm, the title wasn’t just empty praise. He had fought battles that shook the underground, held his ground against the most dangerous fighters in the mafia world, and stood as the Fastest among the Arcobaleno. No one had ever truly outclassed him—not in speed, not in strength, not in sheer mastery.
But this girl, this slip of a young woman who couldn’t have been more than twenty, was dismantling him.
He barely dodged as her fist tore through the air, a shockwave rippling from the force of her swing. The impact missed him but struck the stone wall behind him, reducing it to rubble. His mind raced as he leaped back, already feeling the strain.
She wasn’t just faster than him—she was unthinkably faster. Her movements were fluid, sharp, and utterly relentless, a storm he couldn’t keep up with. Fon prided himself on his speed, yet against her, it felt like he was moving in slow motion.
“How is this possible?” he thought, his chest heaving. His Storm Flames flickered around him as he prepared to counter, but even with all his focus, he could barely track her. Every step she took was precise and unpredictable, her attacks hitting with a power that defied logic.
He blocked a kick aimed at his head, the impact rattling his arms and nearly sending him to his knees. It wasn’t just her speed. Her strength was unreal—more than enough to shatter bones and crush his defenses.
Fon’s mind reeled. He was the Storm Arcobaleno, the Fastest, a master of 108 martial arts, and the only neutral enforcer for the Triad. He had taken down warriors twice her size and age, crushed opponents with years more experience, and emerged unscathed countless times. Yet this girl...
She moved with a fluidity that seemed almost unnatural, and her power—her presence—was on a different level entirely. He couldn't even see her moving! How could she defeat him so easily? What was she?
Tian laughed as she danced back, white hair swaying like silk. Her crimson eyes gleamed with amusement, and the smirk on her face was infuriatingly confident. “Is this all the ‘Strongest Storm’ can do? You’re disappointing me, Feng.”
He narrowed his eyes, refusing to let her mockery get to him, though the words stung. She knew who he was, yet he knew nothing about her. No whispers in the underground, no rumors in the mafia world, not even a hint of her existence. How could someone so powerful have remained completely hidden?
“Who are you?” he demanded, voice sharp as he darted forward, launching a rapid flurry of strikes. She dodged every single one with ease, as if she already knew where he was aiming.
“Oh, just someone who got bored and decided to see what all the fuss was about,” she replied lightly, effortlessly avoiding his attacks. Her speed was staggering, her movements so quick and seamless that even his trained eyes struggled to follow.
Fon gritted his teeth, trying to close the distance. He was the Fastest Arcobaleno. His speed and precision had taken down enemies that others would have called invincible. Yet she was untouchable.
She slipped past his defenses again, a blur of motion, and landed a strike against his shoulder that sent him skidding across the ground. Pain radiated through him as he steadied himself, his pride taking a heavier blow than his body.
“How is she this fast? How is she this strong?” His mind raced for answers, but none came. The title of Strongest Storm felt hollow against her raw power, her speed, and her precision. It wasn’t just that she was faster and stronger—she was far beyond what should have been possible.
“Really, Wind Dragon?” she teased, tilting her head as if bored. “Is this the best you’ve got? I expected more from someone with such a flashy title.”
He bristled at her words but couldn’t deny the truth in them. She wasn’t just mocking him; she was completely in control of the fight.
“And you call yourself a dragon?” she added with a laugh. “What a joke. You’re no dragon, just a man pretending to be one.”
Fon’s breath hitched. Her words hit deeper than they should have. “Who are you?” he finally asked, the question burning in his throat.
Her grin widened, and for a moment, he saw something in her eyes—something ancient, untamed, and utterly other. “Wouldn’t you like to know?” she said, her voice dripping with playful malice.
Fon clenched his fists, his mind struggling to comprehend what he was facing. He didn’t know what she was or where she came from, but one thing was clear: this wasn’t just a fight. It was a lesson. Someone probally send this young Storm to beat him up. And for the first time in years, Fon realized he wasn’t the strongest in the room.
Fon steadied himself, his breathing ragged as his muscles screamed in protest. His mind, usually so calm and clear, was clouded with frustration and confusion. He couldn’t shake the feeling that he was completely out of his depth.
Tian, meanwhile, looked as though she hadn’t even broken a sweat. She stood a few paces away, her stance relaxed, her mocking grin never faltering. Her white hair shimmered in the dim light, giving her an almost ethereal quality that made Fon’s unease grow.
“You’re slowing down,” she said with a teasing lilt, tilting her head as if observing a particularly unremarkable opponent. “Is that all you’ve got, Ah-Feng? Surely the ‘Fastest Arcobaleno’ can do better.”
He clenched his fists, forcing his Storm Flames to flare brighter around him. He had faced impossible odds before. He had trained under the harshest conditions, fought enemies who were considered untouchable, and won. He wouldn’t back down now—not to her, not to anyone.
With a sharp breath, he launched forward, faster this time, pushing his body to its absolute limit. His strikes came faster, harder, each one aimed to overwhelm her defenses.
But she didn’t even flinch.
Tian moved with an effortless grace, sidestepping, ducking, and weaving through his attacks as though she were merely dancing. Her movements were fluid, almost lazy, as if she wasn’t even trying.
And then she countered.
In a blur, she closed the gap between them, her palm slamming into his chest. The force of the blow sent him flying backward, skidding across the ground until he collided with a stone pillar. The impact made the structure crack and crumble, but Fon barely registered it over the searing pain in his ribs.
“That’s it?” Tian said, her tone mocking as she walked toward him. “I thought you were supposed to be the strongest Storm. I’ve met hurricanes more impressive than you.”
Fon coughed, blood staining his lips as he struggled to his feet. His pride refused to let him stay down, even as his body screamed for him to stop.
“You’re holding back,” he said through gritted teeth, glaring at her. It wasn’t a question—it was a statement.
Tian’s grin widened, and she spread her arms theatrically. “Oh, you noticed? Good. I’d hate for this to be too easy.”
He barred his teeth, his flames flickering dangerously around him. “Who are you? Are you from the Triads?”
She chuckled, her crimson eyes gleaming with mischief. “Oh, wouldn’t you like to know?” she said, echoing her earlier taunt. Then her expression shifted, her smile sharpening into something more feral, more dangerous.
“But I’ll tell you this, little dragon,” she said, stepping closer. “You’re not the strongest. You never were. You just lived in a world small enough to make you believe that.”
Fon’s breath caught at her words. There was something in the way she said them, something that sent a chill down his spine.
Before he could respond, she darted forward again, faster than before. He barely had time to react, raising his arms to block, but her kick tore through his defenses like paper. The force sent him crashing to the ground, and this time, he didn’t get up immediately.
Tian crouched beside him, her grin returning to its playful edge. “Don’t take it too hard, Ah-Feng. It’s not your fault you’re out of your league.”
He glared at her, frustration and confusion warring in his mind. She was faster, stronger, and entirely unknown to him. Someone like her should have been impossible to overlook, yet here she was, an enigma who had completely outclassed him.
As he struggled to rise, Tian leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. “But don’t worry,” she said, her tone almost conspiratorial. “I’ll let you in on a little secret.”
Fon froze, his eyes locked on hers, waiting for her to continue.
“You call yourself the ‘Wind Dragon,’” she said, a chuckle escaping her lips. “But the ancient dragons would be insulted for such claim. And you’re nothing more than a shadow of one.”
With that, she stood and turned, walking away as if their fight had never mattered to her. Casually slaughtering a few more of arrogant Triad members who tries to attack her.
Fon remained on the ground, his mind reeling. Ancient Dragons? He couldn’t afford to think for too long, not as Tian came back, still smilling down at Fon, standing amidst the chaos of the slaughtered Triad base. Blood pooled around him as he kneeled, struggling to steady his breath. Every movement felt like it came with an immense weight.
The blood from his wounds stained the floor, but Fon couldn't focus on the pain. His mind was racing, still reeling from the fight he'd just endured. Tian’s presence was overwhelming, like a storm in human form, and he was struggling to keep up with her every move. His breathing was ragged, and his vision was blurred, but he could still feel the weight of her mocking eyes on him.
Then, he feel as something shifted in the air—a subtle change that sent a cold shiver down his spine.
A figure appeared in front of him—blocking the view of the white-haired girl who had so easily outclassed him. Fon's eyes snapped up, startled, to see the very last person he expected.
It was Skull, the Cloud Arcobaleno
Skull de Mort
Their stuntman, their civilian Cloud, his fellow Arcobaleno stepped in front of him, blocking Tian’s path. Fon blinked, his mind struggling to catch up with the sight in front of him. Is that a hallucination? What was he doing here?
His posture was casual, too casual for someone standing in front of the monster who had just decimated an entire base, yet Skull’s presence radiated an unshakable calm. Fon could feel the confusion knotting tighter in his chest.
"Skull?" The Storm muttered, his voice hoarse. "What the hell are you doing here?"
Skull simply smirked and put one hand on his hip. "Is that any way to greet an old friend, Fon?"
The monster in question's mocking smile faded slightly as she looked at Skull. There was a strange pause in the air, a shift that made the atmosphere thicken.
Tian faltered for just a second, her smile wavering as she looked down at Skull, her demeanor shifting from casual confidence to something more calculating. Fon’s confusion only deepened. He had never seen Skull take a step into the middle of anything like this, and yet here he was, standing firm, placing himself between Tian and Fon like some kind of wall. Fon couldn't fathom how a man with so little presence could stand in the way of someone like Tian.
The martial artist leaned silently against the wall, his sharp eyes watching as Tian turned her attention to Skull. The air shifted, charged with tension. The white-haired girl, who had overwhelmed Fon mere hours ago, now stood before the self-proclaimed “Immortal Stuntman,” her crimson gaze narrowing as though evaluating him.
“Eblis,” she said suddenly, her voice laced with both mockery and something almost... reverent.
Fon’s brow furrowed. Eblis? What nonsense was this? His gaze flicked to Skull, whose usually relaxed demeanor had hardened. Skull didn’t flinch at the name, but Fon caught the subtle tightening of his shoulders, the faint flicker of recognition in his eyes.
“Back off, little lizard,” Skull said, his tone even but edged with...something.
Tian tilted her head, her lips curling into a faint smirk. “Still playing the weak fool, are you? I wonder if any of them have a clue who you really are, Eblis.”
Fon’s confusion deepened. Skull—Skull, the weakest, most unassuming of the Arcobaleno—wasn’t fazed by this powerhouse of a woman. More than that, Tian, who had reduced Fon himself to a mere nothing, spoke to Skull as though she were speaking to an equal... or perhaps even something more.
“You’re pushing your luck,” Skull said, his voice low but firm.
Fon’s sharp eyes didn’t miss the subtle shift in Tian’s demeanor. It was slight, but she took a step back, her usual arrogance dimmed by an unmistakable wariness. The girl who had toyed with Fon in battle now looked at Skull with the kind of respect born from knowledge, the kind of caution that came from knowing exactly what stood before her.
“Relax,” Tian said, raising her hands in mock surrender. “I’m not here to stir up trouble. But I have to admit, seeing you play the bumbling idiot is almost entertaining.”
“Leave,” Skull said sharply, his voice brooking no argument.
Tian chuckled softly, the sound light but lacking its usual bite. “As you wish, Al-Rajim.” She turned on her heel, sparing a final glance at Fon before striding away.
Fon straightened, his mind racing as he watched Skull silently stare after her. Eblis. The word echoed in his head, bringing with it questions he had never thought to ask about the man who was supposedly the weakest among them.
Skull, who had always been dismissed as a weakest, had somehow made a girl like Tian—a force who outclassed even Fon himself—step back with nothing more than a look.
“Skull,” Fon said carefully, his voice calm but probing. “What.”
Skull didn’t turn, his gaze still fixed in the direction Tian had gone. After a long moment, he simply said, “Nothing you need to worry about, Fon.”
But the undercurrent in his voice told Fon otherwise. For the first time, he found himself questioning everything he thought he knew about their Cloud.

Ok, listen, LISTEN
He Tian is a really complex character. He's been trying to escape the darkness that his family is involved in his whole life. But at the same time, he very clearly thinks he inherently has that "evilness" inside of him. (it's the simbolysim behind his "fear of the dark" and the reason he lists Mo not being afraid of the dark as one of the reasons he (ht) likes him)
And then, THEN, Mo guan shan shows up, and not only he sees that darkness and doesn't back down in front of it, but he also starts to care for Ht despite it being there.
So the thing that starts growing inside He Tian is the fear that this one person, this one boy who doesn't pull him deeper into the darkness (like his family (sorry He cheng i love you ) bringing him into the business) and KNOWS him as more then just that, will forget him.
That this side of him, that can be good and loved without ties of debt, will disappear alongside Mo's memory.
Then She Li shows up. He tian sees with his own eyes that he cannot protect his loved one without that darkness, and above all he can't freely protect him if that darkness isn't entirely his. This time when She Li attacked Mo he had to bargain for power with his brother to take SL down, so he faces the fact that he needs power and influence to keep Mo safe.
So there comes the sacrifice, he'll go away if he can save Mo. And while away, he'll conquer whatever he needs to make sure Mo never struggles again, so he will never need to leave again.
BUT here's the thing. Mo doesn't know all that, he only knows what HT has told him, Mo knows He Tian only ever expressed fear when 1 - Mo was in danger, 2 - When faced with the idea of being forgotten.
And after months of being loved, reassured, and having HT promise to give him the future of his dreams, months of letting He Tian in, he just disappears one day.
And suddenly Mo is in the position of being "left behind", forgotten.
So when HT comes back, this smug fucker who hurt him that bad, acting like nothing ever happened, Mo wants to pretend it doesn't matter. That he wasn't "the dumbass who got left behind", that it never hurt enough to still matter, years later.
And he also wants it to hurt He Tian back. So he says this.
He says it knowing it will hurt. If he could be left behind by Ht, he wanted he tian to be hurt by the fact that Mo could also forget him. And it does hurt, you can see it in HT's face, in the fact he has to turn it away.
But Mo does care for He Tian, we all know this. So as soon as he sees the result, Ht's hurt expression, the words "you're so cruel", as soon as he sees it actually hurt, he gets hurt as well. He feels the conflict that this situation would bring, the feeling of resenting someone you love, or/and hurting someone you love.
And finally, He tian can't stand it, he can't leave, can't let himself be forgotten by this precious person. So he goes back, he insists on "if you don't remember me ill stay until you do". It's a desperate need, a deep fear.
OX has always told their story in very subtle ways, the plot is always very spread out, and you have to pay attention to the words and details they put in the story. It's as frustrating as it is fun to read it lol, he tian going back and seeing Mo naked is a fun joke, but I do also think it's something that keeps his characterization and does somewhat progress the plot.
TLDR: Mo pushed ht away because he wanted to hurt him for leaving (and he knew how to really hurt him), but also got hurt/felt guilty for hurting someone he loves. Ht came back during the shower because he's scared to let Mo forget about him.
