Minnie bean! I know I think about Bucky going grey all the time but this morning I was thinking about Steve beginning to go grey...mixing in so easily with the blonde that thye don't show at first. And Bucky is in love with every new grey hair that he spots, every line and wrinkle on Steve's face, all the signs of a life well lived because Bucky spent his whole childhood and early adulthood being worried for Steve, holding his hands through bouts of pneumonia and heart troubles and asthma at a time when those illnesses were death sentences. after they find everyone of Branch Brothers, Like thye started to fight Branch Try to Talk, but one of them most likely Floyd "you have your Grandma" And this moment Branch is broke and scream Them. And I Think the most sad sounds Ever in the Background or the Last Sound Branch singing before the Journey; and I see Branch When he was his Grandma the age of 3 or 4 Like He had not even Lost his Brother but soon He Lost his Grandma.

None of the brothers want to face the possibility that grandma Rosiepuff might actually be gone. Branch’s friends all talk about sneaking away from their parents and they hope that it’s the same for Branch and grandma. The alternative is that Branch doesn’t have anyone waiting for him at home and that scares them.

Honestly the fight could have been avoided if they were more willing to talk their feelings out in a mature way but if they were capable of that they wouldn’t have avoided each other for over a decade. When John Dory says an off handed sarcastic comment about how puzzles with Grandma must have been so hard and Branch’s expression changes between hurt and angry before settling on a mix of both that looks like it hurts his face just making it. Everything gets quiet when they all realizes what was said and John Dory is about to apologize when Branch quietly says. “If grandma was still here why would I have bothered to come looking for all of you.” It’s an awful thing to say and definitely intended to hurt them in hopes it will relieve some of his own pain. It doesn’t of course and Branch feels worse for using his grandmother’s memory to hurt his brothers but in the moment he’s a bit past caring due to all the conflicting emotions. “You guys are right! I’ve clearly been doing fine on my own I’ll let you get back to your own lives since you clearly don’t need me in them.”
