This Life (Prt 2)

(I've reached my word limits whoops) So where was I? Ah yes, so I said my goodbyes and asked Cat for one last favor. If he could contact my cousin to let her know I was at the park waiting for her. After that she found me and I broke down in her arms, I gave the man back his phone and thanked him for bringing me to my cousin. (by the way same one I've been mentioning all this time) She took me back to her place and we explained to her parents (Leaving out the fact that I rode a motorbike and had a grab driver drive me here, they all still believe I walked all the way there and got through the security guards of the subdivision) They took me in and told my dad what happened, my dad then told my mom where I was... I refused to go home so I stayed in their house for almost a month. I was getting quite used to living with her... But mom called me back home despite me not wanting to. I felt ashamed, unloved, and all that shmuck. Anyway she still came to get me and I was brought home, we spoke and cleared things up. Oh yes I am still in trouble. But she forgave me anyway. It was a very constant reminder that...She as a mother forgives me despite the fact I've done this multiple times, its always a guy! But I did my best to make it up to her and win her trust back. Six months passed and I still haven't reached out to anyone, I wanted to continue writing my stories so I did, I was in my google docs and...I kind of missed talking to my friends J and A (A is a girl I've been friends with since 4th grade all the way to grade 6, then I left for homeschool right? Well as soon as we turned grade 8 She followed along and went homeschooling, there was a time that I couldn't handle J's art requests so I referred him to A and my cousin, the four of us clicked and we've been friends ever since) But I wasn't able to talk to them after the whole problem right? So my cousin became my messenger, I'd send her emails and messages to relay to J and A, until we decided to just lay it all out on a google docs, I was in my Harry Potter phase that time so I joked about my cousin being my owl, and the google docs sheet as the Owl inventories... That name stuck ever since. We would chat there, IN GDOCS! and we would write stories together and all that. Soon after I was allowed a phone a g a i n, this time I can be trusted! I spoke to my friends in Instagram, (We call ourselves the Owls!) then we got to making a discord server, and eventually we all just grew closer and closer, It seemed like life is brighter now in a way... 2022 was ending soon, and my mom wanted me to go back to a regular school before senior high, so grade 10 I enrolled in a school that... I attended when I was 4 years old from Nursery until 2nd grade (Context I've been to 3 schools in all my life so far. 1st school was Nursery to 2nd grade, 2nd school was 3rd to 6th grade, Homeschool 7th-9th and then going back to the 1st school for grade 10) So I did, and you'll never guess what happened after...

July 2022

Before school started (It starts September) I joined a free workshop lyrics writing class, there I met Teacher R. He was a kind old teacher whose been teaching there for years (Actually they said he was my old music teacher but I dont remember him at all) In that class was my one other face to face classmate, F. At first I thought F was a teacher, nevermind he was a 12th grader! Not only that he was the Student Council President, Class President and Top student! So wow I thought, I get to meet and be friends with someone who would give me advantage to adjust in this school life again hooray...I thought we were equal when it came to music...nevermind he played ukulele, guitar, he can sing...and play the piano! When he played the piano my competitiveness arose, and I asked who taught him... It was none other than Teacher R! So I asked him to be my teacher, and I took up piano lessons, so starting every Tuesdays and Thursdays after class, I'll head down to the school's piano room for my piano lessons...

Sept2022-2023

I return to my old school, wow did it look familiar at the same time all so different! When did they install an elevator?! I thought wow cool, I'm probably gonna like it here, I found out that some of my old friends I've known since what--diapers? Nursery! Were still there, most of them were still there and only a few unfamiliar faces. I was a returnee student so some of them knew me and some didn't, There was also a new girl who enrolled along with me, Y. She's a Japanese girl who came to our country to study English. Problem is... This school require students to study CHINESE. Me and Y became classmates for our Chinese classes, with that we became good friends. After Chinese class I would go down to the piano room and she would follow along and hang around while I'm learning. A few days of that happened and eventually another girl approaches me, she's Cz. She became a really good friend to me and honestly I love her. The piano room soon filled with more new friends, the most frequent one who tend to make it their routine to join me as I take my piano lessons was Y, Cz, S, Rat, and Ax. Oh they were such fun friends but there was a growing problem... I started becoming really close with S... thats bad, i denied anything and said oh of course we're just friends (We were....WE ARE! Its just theres a bit of something?) And the problem was... Cz also started to like S! SO OH NO-- Two for one is not a good deal guys... So many problems happened but me and Cz never fought, we would give away our desires and would step back for the sake of the others happiness. S on the other hand was confused. S liked me (i didn't know that) and I liked S. We hung out together in a mall (Was it a date--) after that I didn't feel like it was working and Ax was just putting thoughts in my head that confused me all the more... So I distanced myself and Cz confessed to S... Confused, S confessed back to Cz and they became mu. They didn't date, but it was painful to see them so close together before... Eventually Cz realized she didn't like guys who liked her back (Red flag behavior but I love her back off, I'll protect her with my life) And we all took time to sort things out, eventually Me and S became friends again and got closer and closer, bonding over cosplay and anime and we planned to go to a con with a group of friends. So we did. We went to the con and we've been establishing that no feelings, just friends, just friends and nothing else... That con is a curse. The place was crowded, the lines were long, the sun was shining and it was really hot. From the lines the sun hit my eyes...ah...S gave me his jacket to cover my head... Okay thanks... As the line moves we were getting tired standing for hours to get in, S leaned on my backpack... his arms draped around my shoulders, (was I blushing or its just the heat) We got in and we stayed to watch a valorant match. Ah oh no... we got separated from our group of friends, we push our way through the crowds...I hold on to his backpack. It's really hard to do navigate this way... He took my hand and said it's just so we won't get lost. Ah so our friends are on the second level of the building, and there is only two escalators on each side, and both have really...really...really...long lines. So we stayed lining up, tired so tired... He was basically hugging my neck as he leans on me, oh my mind was racing indeed. we're just friends, we're just friends, we're just friends,we're just friends... In my head I would fight my battles, everytime his hand brushed my shoulder I would ask him what is he doing? You know what he'd do? (He's an MMA enthusiast, He loves to box, wrestle, sword fight, do martial arts and stuff) He'd CHOKE HOLD ME JOKINGLY Like I will bite your arm if you do that one more time! We're such goofy friends, I liked our dynamic, we understand one another... I like his personality... His laugh... everytime he would geek out and ramble on about robots, swords, video games and anime I just couldn't help but listen and find him interesting.

We had mom and dad in town for the past few days and they helped us finally unpack and get things straightened out in the apt. Feeling good.

I have my first NST today. I have to get them every Monday and Thursday now to monitor baby and make sure his heart is doing what it should be.

The dr doing the NST said he did amazing and she couldn't believer we saw so much good action from a 30 week old. "He's very mature for his age. Like a 32 week old!"

He's moving so much and feels so strong.

“World News Tonight” ranked as the No. 1 newscast on all of broadcast and cable in Total Viewers (7.328 million), Adults 25-54 (1.069 million) and Adults 18-49 (726,000). “World News Tonight” outperformed “NBC Nightly News” (5.924 million, 933,000 and 644,000, respectively) by 1.404 million Total Viewers, by 136,000 Adults 25-54 and by 82,000 Adults 18-49. 

“World News Tonight” increased its Adults 25-54 lead over the NBC program week to week by 14% (136,000 vs. 119,000). 

“World News Tonight” has won the last 244 of 245 weeks in Total Viewers and 173 of the last 175 in Adults 25-54. 

Season to date, “World News Tonight” (8.155 million) is ranking No. 1 in Total Viewers for the 7th straight year, based on Most Current Data. “World News Tonight” is leading “NBC Nightly News” (6.810 million) by 1.345 million and “CBS Evening News” (4.879 million) by 3.276 million. It has been lovely to have so many new members join the club, so we say a huge welcome to Graham Howes and Debra O’Bryne, Alan and Brenda Dyer, Brian and Susan Marston, Pat Scanlon and Ute Doerfer.

Just a short time to go until Christmas and we hope that you all have a memorable Christmas (for all the right reasons!), and give our best wishes to everyone.

  NOVEMBER – 24th/27th – The Tree & Nativity Festival at St Margaret’s Church, St Margaret’s at Cliffe turned out to be a beautiful event.  Diane and Louise did a great job putting up the tree and supplying the purple heart decorations which were the theme to our exhibit this year.  So, many thanks go to Diane and Louise for kindly giving up their time for DDS.

FRIDAY, 2nd – Our Christmas party went well and music and carols given by Allen Adshead made the time very special. His efforts were greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all.  Thank you to everyone who made it such a special event and, hopefully, all who went felt it was a really good start to the joy that is Christmas.

WEDNESDAY, 7th – The Christmas meal at the Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club organised by Dorthe has now been fully arranged and we hope that it proves as excellent as it was last year. Lovely to be able to get together and enjoy a lovely meal which we are able to do due to Cyril’s legacy enabling the stroke club to thrive.                                                                   PTO/…..

  JANUARY 2023

FRIDAY, 7th – Our first meeting of the year and Pete is giving a talk about the ups and downs of life in the Police Force with a game of bingo in the second half of the meeting.

 SATURDAY 21st/ SUNDAY 22nd - The Pantomime at the St Margaret’s Hall is Cinderella and whilst we can organise tickets for anyone who wishes to go, unfortunately, transport and volunteers cannot be arranged for this event.  Should any be able to go under their own steam, please contact Wendy/Dorthe to arrange provision of tickets.

 The pier walks will carry on every Thursday, subject to weather conditions, so those who go please keep this outing going as it appears to be good for everyone.  Coffee/tea at Aspendos is a real bonus being so near to the pier.

 The seated exercise classes are also carrying on into 2023 so, if you go, the date and time are, at present, Wednesdays between 1.00pm-2.00pm.  Julie is happy to discuss any problems participants may have with the exercises at the end of the session.

Yesterday on 23/01/2022 (20220123) BangtanTV uploaded a Bangtan Bomb of Tannies having Lunch at the Cross Street by James Corden set. The Boys got Chipotle for Lunch and we have a very adorable Jungkook trying to get the name right but ended up calling it "Chicotle" and also said that he loved it and gonna eat it everyday. and then we enjoyed the regular, BTS joking around and having lunch & fun time.

CUT TO on 24/01/2022 (20220124) we WOKE UP TO THIS;

Chipotle has changed its Twitter Display Name and wished the Tannies a good morning. WHAAATTTT!!!!

Historic wave of BORAHE-FICATION.

Well other than the 007 Butter performance, Grammys was nothing but disappointing. However what Grammy did is being nullified by the state itself.

We are talking about the purple blanket Las Vegas has covered itself with. The Boys trip to Las Vegas wasn't for the disappointing Grammys but for their 4 days completely sold out stadium concerts. And Las Vegas understood the assignment, the moment BTS announced their tour in Las Vegas, the state has turned itself into Purple cozy city to serve the ARMYs right.

Las Vegas has officially turned into BORAHAEGAS where the entire local government has thrown itself into making this a once-in-a-lifetime event. Nobody is unaware of the power BTS holds in world domination as of now. BTS are the face of everything in this world literally be it Music, video games, clothes, food, global diplomacy, drinks, gadgets and the list is endless. Hosting BTS becomes a matter of pride as well as duty for each city they hold their tours in. and their last US concert in LA ended up reviving the entire city's economy in just a week. The local restaurant owners, budget friendly hotels, and etc saw huge jump in their profits thanks to BTS and ARMYs. So when BTS announced their tour in Las Vegas they decided to win at the chance.

LOVE IN THE AIR THURSDAY

So this year I got into Boys' Love world and have been hooked to it. although I have watched on-going BLs but I started them after like 6th episode or 7th. After watching a lot of clip and knowing almost most of the story line.

However that wasn't the case with Love In The Air - The Series

I vaguely remember watching the pilot trailer of the show in the first half of the year but completely forgot about it.

However, in late July or early August I stumbled across the actual trailer and teasers of the show. AND I WAS IN LOVE WITH IT! Hence this show became first BL that I watched on-going from episode 1 and discussed passionately about it on Reddit with other watchers.

I wait for every Thursday. THURSDAYs are celebration days Thanks to the series. The series is divided into 2 stories - 1) Love Storm and 2) Love Sky.

Love Storm is Payu and Rain's love story which is Episode 1-7 and Love Sky is Prapai and Sky's love story which is Episode 8-13.

There are a total of 14 episodes. 13 episode (1-7 + 8-13) plus one special episode. And Today i.e., 29th September' 2022 we'll have our 7th episode that will be the ending of Love Storm story.

So I'm excited but as well as sad to bid my byes to Payu and Rain. So I thought I'll make a post here describing how exciting Thursdays are and how excited I'm for tonight's episode.

Vee & Mark- Their Journey to Love♥️ (Love Mechanics) (Boys' Love)

Thanks to Youtube Shorts I came across this very beautiful show called Love Mechanics. I have been captivated by Vee and Mark, two college boys who fall in love, have a complicated journey but end up together happily.

The most attractive thing about Vee and Mark, after their vein popping hands, are their flaws. The idea of flaws makes a human without the insertion of godly perfection of that flaw. This aspect of their characteristics and love was so real that it made me feel all their emotions and pain they went through together. In the world of fiction- we tend to admire people who go through immediate process of rectification, who have this idea of being perfect in an unrealistic way, people who will realise their mistake without much efforts and as much as this is wonderful and healthy it is equally almost not real life possible. As Humans we do not tend to realise when we have hurt others. We tend to go through a lengthier process of healing, understanding and rectification and this is what this show- these two people had. Real flaws, real healing and real understanding.

VEE- Toxic or just Wrong decisions?

A lot of people find Vee toxic and conveniently the bad guy. Someone who isn't worthy and deserving of Mark. Although what he did is wrong and it did end up hurting Mark but being wrong and being toxic are completely different things. For me Vee is someone who isn't close to himself enough to understand what he truly wants, and hence gets pushed by other peoples emotions and actions. Is he gullible? Yes in a certain way but mostly he is just inconveniently considerate of other people's emotions. Initially Mark was no one but an annoying junior who was pursuing his (Vee) friend, who (Bar) openly declared his love for other person and yet Vee ended up taking care of a drunk Mark, apologising on his behalf and carrying him all the way home. He ended up spending the night with him. And while Mark felt disgusted after the drunk one night stand with Vee , Vee on the other hand was worried about his eating. I'm not sure if I can call this attraction or not but I'm pretty sure it is consideration of Mark's feeling.

Vee somehow ends up feeling some kind of responsibility towards Mark, after spending the night together, although we see Mark drawing a clear line between them but Vee somehow always found a way to cross it and I guess in these moments we see Vee fall for Mark- wanting him (Mark) to be his. Feeling uneasy when Mark spent time with someone else. As audience we know, it is Jealousy but here's when we can have an insight to Vee's flaws and his inability to read his own emotions, to understand that he wants Mark. That there is no more space for Ploy.

Vee was confused about his feelings, he couldn't hurt and leave Ploy but he, for sure, only needed Mark. In all these confusion, impulsive decisions Vee ended up making bad decisions and hurting Mark.

Vee has always been insecure, confuse, couldn't understand if he was strong enough to tell the world that he was dating Mark. But what he wasn't was Toxic and I can say that because we saw the sincerity Vee had for Mark, the way he wanted to change for Mark, for his happiness and we also saw some growth. Vee did not use his confusion as an excuse to escape his wrong doings and continued to repeat his mistakes. That's a sign of wrong decisions and bad timings and not of Toxicity.

Yeah his actions were hurtful and definitely wrong but who doesn't make mistakes? That doesn't mean you are Toxic.

MARK- The Stupid Boy or the Boy in Love?

Mark just wants to be loved by someone sincerely. From his father's not so wise words in episode 8 we get to know that Mark ended up falling into relationships with wrong guys which always resulted in him being left all alone and hurt. People called him stupid for going back to Vee but for me he fell in love with a guy whose sincerity were conveyed to him. Definitely out of the two, Mark is the more mature one. He is clear of his emotions, his liking and what he wants. Not only this but he also has very boldly verbalised how he felt because he was sure and confident of what he was doing.

However Love is complicated and only if it was easy to separate black and white from grey. Mark had fallen in love with Vee and although he saw Vee kissing his ex-girlfriend after which he ended up things with him- he still missed him. Searched for him just for that one look and almost got disappointed at the fact that Vee didn't sleep with him while he was drunk dead.

"Or Maybe you still love Ploy"

That one statement carried so much hurt, pain and regrets. He somehow ended up believing that his love failed in front of Ploy's that his emotions and memories couldn't leave that impact on Vee as did Ploy's. In that moment we as an audience see him holding on to the last thread of hope. Wishing all of this distress and distance to be over and being back with Vee. and the moment the misunderstandings cleared up he rushed to tell Vee the truth. He did not wanted to make this any harder. He wanted to be truthful and he wanted to be loved by Vee again.

He was a man in love, deeply, with Vee and he wanted to give those feelings and emotions a second chance, that man a second chance- who searched for him like a mad man when he went missing. He wanted to give Vee, who made him happy, loved and just smile everyday, a second chance. He isn't stupid but a Boy in love.

THEIR LOVE STORY - A Journey so heartwarming.

Love is complicated, it makes you want to believe in fairytales and unicorns. It wants you to forget pain and only live the happiness. Love isn't always roses and honey but a lot of time thorns and bitter. It is upon the people how to deal with those side of love as well.

Their Love was imperfect but there was sincerity and growth. That distance of misunderstanding between them made them realise how important the other person was in their life. Their love story was not only about tears and pains but also probation periods, shy 'I love you's, a lot of teasing and playfulness. (Also a lot of touching).

There were bad decisions, wrong timings and misunderstandings but there was also waiting, clarifications and second chances.

Their love had warmth and meaning and that is why We were so invested with them. That's why Vee and Mark left a lasting impact when the kissed on the roof and bide their happy byes to us.

My #1 post of 2022

LOVE MECHANICS (Boys Love)- Two absolutely adorable Cutes♥️

So recently this year I got into the whole new world of Boys Love (BL) and its an abyss. You cannot exit from here. Periodt. As of now I have watched Korean BL dramas, Taiwanese BL dramas, Japanese BL Drama and of course the biggest industry of BL dramas- The Thai BL dramas and I have a Vietnamese BL drama on my watch list waiting for me😂

However, out of all those wonderful stories, the story of Vee & Mark captivated my heart. Thanks to Youtube Shorts I discovered this beautiful show- Love Mechanics. sort of a Spin off of the original short drama of the same name.

LOVE MECHANICS

The Story follows:

Approaching his long-time crush, Bar Sarawut with a heart-felt confession, Mark is devastated when his love is rejected. Heart-broken, Mark attempts to drown his sorrows at a local nightclub where he runs into Vee, one of the seniors in his school’s engineering program. Mistaking Vee for Bar, Mark approaches his senior and the two immediately hit it off. 

Realizing what he has with Vee is more than just a fleeting feeling, Mark begins to make room for him in his heart. But will his already fragile heart have the strength to endure what’s to come when he learns Vee already has a girlfriend?

It's just 10 episodes long and keeps you hooked with the story. Both the actors have done fabulous job and portraying the characters, their vulnerability and love. The show has lot of emotional moments, some heartfelt conversations and some comedy too. 8.5/10 to the show I'll keep 1.5 because I wanted few more scenes of introspection and more fluffiness.

I'm literally sold for Yin (Vee) and War (Mark) both of them are just too adorable especially War- whenever he did his nose crunches My heart was solid sold! He has a baby-ish voice and charm to himself. and he literally has Puppy dog eyes. Trust me I had a hard time surviving it! Yin, on the other hand, has a very lovely smile and loveable aura around him. His Eye smile is to die for.

For me the most selling point for this show was the characters and their flaws. Although when I was going through the internet for people's review or thoughts for the drama I realised majority of people saw Vee as someone Toxic but to me that wasn't the case. Yes, Vee made some wrong decisions which ended up hurting Mark but those decisions were a mistake that were the result of Vee's confusion and dilemma in understanding his own feelings and I guess anybody can go through this.

From what I interpreted, Vee was always attracted to Mark that is why even though Mark was drawing lines between them but Vee always kept crossing them, searching for opportunities to spend more time with Mark caring for him. However, he wasn't aware that he was attracted to Mark. So Yeah, I found Vee Flawed, made some bad decisions and clearly did wrong to Mark but for me He wasn't Toxic. He was wrong but not Toxic. There is a huge difference between the two.

I also loved the power dynamic between the two too adorable. I mean most of the times Vee was a puppy with his tail stuck between his legs- Following Mark and his probation period. And Mark, on the other hand, loved being loved by Vee. Always playing along with his playfulness and crunching his nose.

Their relationship was loveable, filled with kisses and smiles but also very playful. Both of them were very obvious with their claims of each other in public. Teasing each other, giggling and laughing. Seducing and spooning and hesitant shy I love you. Just so playful and heart warming.

I LOVE THEM and I'm looking forward to more of Yin & War shows♥️

Femslash Fortnight 2022

An initiative to come together and create more fan content for our favourite ladies!

After the successful event last year, we are organizing another fortnight!

The two-week long event will take place from the 23rd of July to the 7th of August, 2022, and will feature daily prompts for visual and written content! You can also create written content for a visual prompt and vice versa; we just wanted to make sure there were options suitable for all types of media you may want to create!

Unlike last year, this fortnight will be open to all Star Trek femslash, although we are still primarily promoting it for Discovery. There will be an 'other treks' tag for all non-disco creations we reblog, so if you are only interested in Discovery you can block the tag and still follow. All works will be tagged by their respective shows as well, so bring on the R/7 or Keytegas or whatever else you can think of!

There is no minimum participation requirement, every submission counts, and the prompts are the same for both weeks: if you for example want to paint something for both Mondays, you can either make something to an aesthetic in one week and something emotional the other, or create several posts to the same prompt - you can even submit several posts a day!

CFWC Event Please Be Prompt!

What is it?

We here at CFWC miss the weekly prompts from Wackydrabbles, and we’d like to see if we’re not alone. To find out, we are sponsoring this three-week event. Each Sunday morning, beginning on Sunday, July 17th, we will post three prompts…a fluffy, angsty, and smutty one…to help inspire you. 

Here’s your job!

Write a fic! Use one, two, or all three prompts. Just have fun and be creative! Submit your fic by the end of each week, and we’ll include it on our Fics of the Week List, a special masterlist at the end of the event, plus…there’s more!

Why are we doing this?

Mostly because we miss the prompts!  But also, we’re throwing in a giveaway! One lucky winner will win an art commission from the talented @bayleedrawsx

What are the rules?   

To be in the drawing, write and submit a Choices fanfic using one or more of the weekly prompts.  It can be a drabble, an epic masterpiece, or anything in between. 

You will receive one chance for each week in which you participate. If you participate for two weeks, you get two chances.  Three weeks, three chances.  It’s easy as that! 

Please be sure to tag @choicesficwriterscreations, and use the #please be prompt tag.    Also, bold the prompt in your fic to make it easy for us to find it. 

How do you win?

FAQs:

Do I have to use all three prompts? No, you can use one, two, or all three in your work.  However, there is only one entry, per person, per week for the contest, regardless of how many prompts are used.

Can I use a fluffy prompt to write an angsty fic? Or an angsty prompt to write a smutty fic, etc.? Sure.  If you think the prompt fits better in a different style of fic - go for it! 

Can I change the prompt? In most cases, we will ask you to keep it exactly as is.  If you have questions about a change, please contact @jerzwriter or @lucy268-mod. 

Can I submit more than one fic for the Please Be Prompt challenge in any given week? Yes, but you will only receive one chance for the contest per week.

If I submit three fics during the last week, will I get three chances? No.  You will be given one chance.  It’s one chance per week participated.

Can I use a prompt published on July 17th during one of the following two weeks? Sure! We recommend using them within the same week, but all will be accepted toward the event until the deadline on Saturday, August 6th at 11:59 PM EST.
