Skyfall: The ThunderClan Shrine
Sketch of the ThunderClan Shrine! Shrines are an addition to the clan camps in Skyfall that serve as local StarClan beacons. They’re essentially powered down versions of the Moonstone/Moonpool that are available to everyday clan members in their camps. Rituals and ceremonies for briths, deaths, and namings occur at the shrine, so that StarClan and the clan deities can hear the ritual.
The ThunderClan shrine is a stylized carving of Roaring Thunder (Thunder in canon), the legendary first leader of ThunderClan. In legend, he is depicted as a sleek tom with two tails and amber eyes. The symbol carved into his chest is the glyph for Roaring Thunder. It is usually painted red/orange using ochre paint, as are his eyes. In this sketch, the paint has faded somewhat. In ThunderClan it is common to decorate the shrine or give offerings of flowers, leaves, bones, and rocks.
The ThunderClan shrine is carved from oak and is so old that no one quite remembers when it was carved. The base has rotted a few times and has needed to be replaced. Some older or more cynical cats suggest that the same must have happened to the statue at some point. Some cats refute this however, arguing that since the shrine is under the cover of the Highrock’s ledge that the statue has not rotted and is the original. No one knows the truth for sure.

You could play with the dirty part of the canon description by having Slash and his people roll in mud to hide their scent.
Parts of the Code labelling using weapons/traps as dishonorable could have started as agreements made that Slash's people wouldn't keep using their old tactics, maybe forced on Thunder's Clan to keep them from becoming too powerful, if they DID fuse.
I'm more liable to just remove the "dirty" thing entirely honestly; I just think it's so shitty I'd like to nuke it from orbit, you get me? Every single time they want you to hate someone, they make them fat and/or stinky. I'd rather just put that kind of rhetoric in the mouths of cats like Clear Sky and The Wind Runner, a lie to demonize their enemies, not really based on truth.
I think I might take the trap stuff though; that actually fits in nicely with how ThunderClan's the only one that uses spears. I won't have it be code yet, though, that's going to come a lot later. First two commandments of the code are Borders + Mercy, followed by Law 3 when Riverstar dies in some decades.
Also gonna need a name for Slash's new group. Hey, maybe THESE guys can be called Warriors, actually. Warriors of the Forest, like what the first arc used to be called before it was renamed TPB.
#I'm imagining a scene where Thundy's still in his dad's group ''studying'' under him#And while they're in the woods one of their patroller's legs gets caught in a tree snare#And they're dangling and yowling angrily and it's the first 'experience' Thundy has with the WOTF#''Fearsome guerilla warfare techniques'' (that's just how they catch dinner)#Maybe it was Thunder Storm actually and when he recounts this story to them after they're allies the Warriors are deeply amused by it#like ''they're VERY obvious traps actually. How did you fall for it. Are you a Squirrel''#And boom that's the basis of the Gray Squirrel/Red Squirrel story#Man it would be such a dick move for Thunder Storm to get lifted up in the trap like that and Clear scares the shit out of him#With how they're going to come and kill him with all the racket he's making#if he can't get him down quickly#Like just terrifying him while he's up in the trap with lies about how horrible Slash's cats are#letting him dangle for a while and taking his time#ugh that's so clear actually I have to write that now. That's something he'd do#better bones au#BB!DOTC#BB!Slash

ASC Thudner Spoilers // Please lord, god almighty, when she finds out she can't have kits do NOT let it factor into the decision for her to possibly become/stay a medicine cat. So not make her believe "what's the point of being a warrior now?" in any capacity because of her now infertility.
I know the timeline is all messed up (Is she 8 or 9 moons? Or is she 12? I imagine her as 10 max but who knows, not the erins) but i would like Frostpaw to have time to actually decide if she wants to be a warrior or a medicine cat. Hell, i would take her deciding she wants to be both somehow! Or some other option for what a cat could be that she forages herself. Honestly, if anything i think i just so badly don't want her to conform and become a medicine cat because she feels like she has to or it's her only option. She so desperately needs the right and time to choose, and choose well. "She was never meant to be a medicine cat," that was great! The founders themselves had to reach out to Frostpaw to guide her and she had to meditate to strengthen her connection to them, as well as her own mental development to be ready (frankly i kinda hope she doesn't get any omen sense or standard dreams from other random Starclan cats, it makes her and Riverstar feel so much more special and unique). but she already has healing skills as noted by Nightheart so i could accept her if she decided to be one in an "I forge my own destiny and place" but It wasn't her choice to start her training, and her inner dialogue talks like she's accepted that now she has the connection she's just meant to be one, which also isn't her choice!. So i don't feel like she's ready to pick what she wants to do without it feeling like it's not entirely her choice and her choice alone. Let Frostpaw CHOOSE what she wants to be for the love of god please
#ill probably delete this later#im just ill about#frostpaw#she just has no choice so often#is her being spayed kind of to me another reflection of choice being taken from her?#a little but i LOVE IT jesus christ#i will support every choice she ever makes as long as it's HER choice#asc spoilers#asc#asc thunder#warrior cats#wc#a starless clan#i dont think or want the books to go there but a perma queen frostpaw au after this would be sweet

Naming (by Colony & Leader)
The Growling Thunder Colony - Flashy names that draw attention to the cat's personality rather than the cat themself.
Star Bluewhisker - The most creative names she can conjure up, will spend days thinking of something fierce and flashy while considering the personality of the cat. Despises most body part suffixes and never gives them to her warriors unless specifically requested. (Name examples: Darkwatcher, Cindersun, Burningheart, Hazelroar)
The Lurking Shadow Colony - Plain and simple. -Pelt and -fur suffixes are very common.
Star Brokentail - Spends little time thinking of meaningful names but at least diverges from the same suffixes. Occasionally gives pretty good names. (Name examples: Nightshademuzzle, Pinescatter)
The Whispering Wind Colony - Less skill or personality-based, more matching or similar family names. A littermate's name ending in -nose will likely result in the rest of the litter's names ending as -path, catcher, or -pounce.
Star Sedgetail - Willing to branch out from Wind tradition and give a cat a name different from their siblings if he feels it's earned or the siblings are far too different to share suffixes. (Name examples: Adderbite & Bubblewing, Mudclover & Claycatcher, Daisytail & Gorsetail, Emberstep & Ashfoot)
The Tranquil River Colony - Direct opposite of the Thunders. Names are more based on the cat themself than any skill or personality. Body suffixes are very common.
Star Crookedtree - Less kept together names than all the leaders. Still tries to follow River tradition but is more willing to go with what fits a cat. Attempting to take a page out of Bluestar's book and have more "flashy" names. (Name examples: Saugerstorm, Leopardtooth, Sunnysky, Moss-shine)

Tonight is Writer's Choice night because I said so and because I binged the whole of the new book over the course of my day off and it gave me ideas.
Tomorrow we're back to taking prompts from the audience, in accordance with my guidelines, but as a clarification since I've got more than a handful: Mapleshade's Vengeance is in fact one of the books I haven't read. And I'm not sure it's a book I even want to read. After the whole "yeah it's totally a good idea to write an article telling kids that if they don't jump into a flooding river to save someone else they're going to Hell, just get social media to shut up" fiasco from last year it just has left a sour taste in my mouth.
Preamble out of the way, enjoy Sunbeam's ThunderClan polycule, feat. pfurr dynamic worldbuilding:
On the night Nightheart went missing, Sunbeam went into her new nest feeling dejected. The whole of ThunderClan had been buzzing with a celebratory atmosphere but hearing her mate had left had her double-guessing herself at her decisions so far. The cryptic reassurances from StarClan Squirrelstar conveyed to to her had for sure not had remotely close to the intended effect. With no clear reason why he was gone she was left wondering if Nightheart’s wenwi --his maternal grandmother-- was even telling the truth or just trying to save face for her awbyyo --her bloodline.
As she settled in to sleep, Sunbeam felt a paw prodding at her side. “Hey.” Sunbeam raised her face to see the tortoiseshell face of Nightheart’s sister.“I know you haven’t officially joined the pfurr, but... would you like to sleep with us? At least until my brother’s back.”
“I...” Sunbeam was a bit taken aback. She turned her face towards two other cats cuddled with each other, their faces expectantly towards her. Those must be her empf --her nestmates-- Sunbeam guessed. “I thought Nightheart slept alone. He did mention you but with how he spoke I thought he was a--”
“Oh no, no!” the molly was quick to interject. “StarClan no, he’s not nearly bad enough to be a hug’koo.” In their language that was a word meant ‘cuckoo’, but it could also mean a cat that had been expelled from a nest. “He just has fallen into the habit of sleeping on his own. Being made a warrior late and all.”
“But he left his Clan to court me,” Sunbeam protested. Having let that slip out she wanted to swallow back her tongue. Berryheart would certainly have thought that an offense grave enough and she hoped upon reconsidering Finchlight wouldn’t agree with that view.
“And he’s not going to lose his place in his birth pfurr from that,” Finchlight said with a shrug. “You just try again the other way ‘round. The elders may say it’s disrespectful but I’ve always thought it was jus the smart thing to do.”
“It’s not like I have a sibling to share a nest with who I care about offending,” Sunbeam mused, rising to her paws as she followed Finchlight back to her nest.
“Really?” she asked. “An ul-arramew? You don’t very much act like one.”
“No, it’s not like that,” Sunbeam said. “I have two brothers in fact. But one of them took a SkyClan mate and the other was not very pleased. And so...”
“Oh,” Finchlight said. “I’m sorry I pried.”
“It’s okay, it’s okay,” Sunbeam said. “What’s the courtship period for if not for meeting your soon-to-be mate?” The word she used there was empf for in their language there’s no distinction between one’s romantic partner and any other cat one share a nest with.
“Settle in,” Finchlight offered as she carved her space between alongside the other two cats, a golden tabby tom and a pale brown molly, who were already settled on their nest. “It should be enough for all four. We had it expanded for Nightheart forever ago but since he insists on being by his lonesome.”
“Hey,” Sunbeam greeted with a flick of her tail which the other cats responded to in kind. Though everyone in the nest was cozy and fit rather neatly the atmosphere didnt’ seem yet conducive for actually going to sleep. “So... Nightheart never mentioned any other empf other than her sister. When did you all start courting?”
Myrtlebloom and Bayshine went wide-eyed in surprise for a moment before clarity dawned on them and they gave an amused purr.
“We didn’t court,” Bayshine --the tom-- clarified. “We’ve just... kinda always shared a nest.”
“Pryyp?” Sunbeam piped up.
“Our wipfurrs” --that means mothers-- “were always close. And Sparkpelt had not been in the right mindset to nurse or take care of Finchy or Nighty towards their first moon or so. So they nursed with us and the habit of sharing a nest just kinda stuck.”
“Did he never tell you?” Finchlight asked.
“No, he didn’t,” Sunbeam said in surprise. “That’s lovely of her and lovely of you. When he spoke of ThunderClan he always stressed other things.”
“Typical,” Bayshine said with an eyeroll. “Such a complainer that Nightheart. There was once towards the beginning of our apprenticeship when he...”
The nest continued gossiping about their missing member until sleep overtook them. As she drifted off into sleep, with her head rested on the soft fur of her soon-to-be empf she began to give off a purr. There may be a piece of their nest missing but now she could work on loving and being loved by the rest of them.

Better Bones ThunderClan Family Tree: Draft 1.1
[ID: A massive image of the ThunderClan family tree for Better Bones, with every starting ancestor marked with yellow, every joining kittypet marked in pink, and all of the Firekin cats marked in orange.]
You may also want to see:
The RiverClan Family Tree
The SkyClan Family Tree
The Three Strict Rules
The ThunderClan Family Tree Diagnosis, to compare
Several days of research, drafting, and meticulous nitpicking has brought us here. As much of a family tree fix as I can manage alone, including over 200 cats!
There are NO OCs in this graph. Everyone you see here is from Su Susann's Missing Kits, mentioned in a field guide, or directly from forgotten allegiances. A few characters have been renamed, shuffled, or intentionally removed.
1.1 update: Imgur link was replaced with smaller image that Tumblr is able to handle.
Just like RiverClan's, below the cut is Renamings, Removals, and the Changelog.
RENAMINGS: Format: Old Name (Origin) -> New Name (Reason)
Fallowpaw (BOTC) -> Fallowhawk (Repurposed)
Oatwhisker (COTC) -> Oatbell (Conflict)
Beechfur (BOTC) -> Beechfeather (Conflict)
Seedpelt (MV) -> Seedwhisker (Conflict)
Seedpelt (PC) -> Seedfall (Conflict)
Rabbitleap (TC) -> Rabbitbone (Conflict, Honor title)
Rockfall -> White-eye (Honor title)
Pheasantfeather -> One-eye (Honor title)
Mistlekit -> Mistleclaw (Save)
Cricketkit -> Cricketclaw (Save)
Tulipkit -> Tulipflight (Save)
Chestnutkit -> Chestnutface (Save)
Elderkit -> Elderberry (Save)
Sorrelstripe -> Duststripe (Sorreltail does not die in the Great Battle)
Graykit -> Fernkit (Ferncloud confronts Ashfur in the Dark Forest)
Hollyleaf -> Fallenleaf (I don't even know how to summarize this, Go Read This)
REMOVALS: These may be shuffled to another litter at a later time, but for now, are effectively cut or combined with another character.
Lilyheart needs no children and the clan had more than enough cats already. Honeyfur, Leafshade, and Larksong are cut.
Larksong's roles have been absorbed by the composite cat, Hollylark.
On that note, Hollytuft is the other half of the composite.
Brightheart is a frequent surrogate for cats in other Clans; Snowbush, Ambermoon, and Dewnose may show up elsewhere, but NOT in ThunderClan.
Eaglewing is cut.
CHANGELOG: When a group is referred to as "Characterkin," it refers to the common ancestor with that suffix. For example, Firekin refers to cats with Firestar as a common ancestor.
Daisytoe and Flashnose COULD still be siblings without issue but I decided to leave it off for better visibility
Squirrelwhisker and Beetail are probably siblings but Re: better visibility
Icecloud is now born AFTER the Great Battle; they are named after Iceheart, the cat who was Scourge.
Foxleap is now a CloudxBright child
Rockfall becomes the mate of One-eye, and attains an Honor Title; White-eye, for losing an eye to infection.
One-eye's pre-Honor Title name was Pheasantfeather, she also lost an eye to infection.
They both found this VERY amusing.
Halftail is now a child, not One-eye's mate, fixing a very frustrating retcon where One-eye was not the oldest cat in ThunderClan.
Mistlekit becomes a warrior named Mistleclaw, who died in a very serious sickness during Spottedleaf's Plague
Graystripe is now Dappletail's son, and his littermate Featherkit died in Spottedleaf's Plague
Cricketkit becomes a warrior named Cricketclaw, and was the littermate of Darkstripe.
Tulipkit and Chestnutkit were taken from other litters and given to Robinfuzzy, to create an in-between generation for Dustpelt and Raven, as Robinfuzzy would be too old.
Tulipflight and Chestnutface died in, you guessed it, Spottedleaf's Plague.
Though he was ultimately renamed for conflict reasons, Rabbitbone is sporting an Honor Title. He was made the head chef after Mumblefoot became deputy.
Speckletail is the niece of Doestar now, and strongly desired to carry on her legacy.
Oatbell's name refers to the bell-shape of some flowers, such as bluebells, gorse, and oat berries.
Hazeltail does not die of greencough, she is saved by Jayfeather. Mousewhisker is going to leave for RiverClan in ASC (minnowmouse shippers stay winnin'), and Hazel will be taking any noteworthy actions he does in ThunderClan
Fernsong is now an ex-kittypet who joins along with Stormcloud and Jessy. His old name was Fiddles.
Blossomfall's kits were conceived during a stay with The Kin, the father(s) are not known.
Redtail and Spottedleaf are now the children of Rosetail
Redtail and Runningwind are the parents of Sandstorm and Longtail.
Patchpelt is now the father of Willowpelt, adding a generation between Willow and AdderSwift.
The Three Seedpelts
There were THREE Seedpelts to begin with. I decided to split them into 3 characters.
The oldest Seedpelt keeps her name; she was deputy of ThunderClan when SkyClan was exiled, and stepped down in protest. She joined Ripplestar's Rebellion, and was condemned to the Dark Forest when she died.
She has a striking resemblance to her descendants, Ferncloud, Elderberry, and Ashfur.
The next was Seedwhisker. He was the brother of Mapleshade.
He lived the rest of his life in regret at his cowardice, having not spoken up for his sister or nespring, and became a supporter of the Queen's Rights in spite of Oakstar's opposition to them.
His new name comes from an accidental misprint, he was called Seedwhisker once in canon.
The last was Seedfall, who could have plausibly been Seedwhisker in the timeline, but I decided that Adderfang could use a sibling.
Firekin is now HARD defined
It means that you are directly descended from Firestar and Sandstorm. (Who were btw in a QPR)
Cloudtail is not counted in this category because Fireheart botched the claiming of the Queen's Rights when bringing him to ThunderClan, admitting he was his nephew and voiding his right.
Firekin only tracks through direct descendants as a result.
Squirrelflight is infertile and will always be. All Firekin can trace their way through The Three, and ergo Leafpool.
Ivypool and Dovewing are technically the bio-offspring of Poppyfrost and Jayfeather, but this is not widely known, and they are raised by Cinderheart and Lionblaze.
Sparkpelt and Alderheart are no longer Firekin. Nightheart and Finchlight are Firekin through their other parent, Hollylark.
Hollylark was conceived through supernatural methods (and by accident).
Flywhisker and Snaptooth were foundlings adopted by Toadstep and Lionblaze; but they are leaving the Clans in a similar way to Canon.
The Tigerkin Family
Goldenflower's only mate was Tigerclaw, unlike canon where she was with Patchpelt to have Swiftpaw and Lynxkit.
Brambleclaw becomes Bramblestar just after BB!Po3, and Squirrelflight doesn't get back with him after the secret is revealed
His kits are from Jessy, who was temporarily named Sweetbright.
She cat-divorced him shortly after their kits were born, taking Alder with her. The human named him Louie; Bramblestar changed it back when he returned
Both of them have a very complicated relationship to their father.
The Dustfern Fixes, Fernkin Broadly
Elderberry was saved to fix an age gap; Ferncloud is closer in age to Dustpelt, and Ashfur is from a litter born just before Brindleface's murder. Elder was the sibling who was part of the Dog Relay Race.
Dustpelt was also not a mentor yet, as he was too young. Instead, he was undergoing a secondary apprenticeship under One-eye for construction work.
Cloudtail was Elder's and Fern's best friend growing up, but NOT an adopted brother. This is to avoid Whitewing x Birchfall being adoptive first cousins.
Because Brackenfur dies in BB!Po3 and wasn't alive to sire them, Seedpaw and Lilyheart have been swapped over to Dustfern.
Dustpelt died saving them in the Great Battle, reinforcing a den wall against invaders.
Spiderleg and his children are not dying unceremoniously as Greencough Fodder and a TBC kill. All three are alive to the current arc.
Lilypaw watching her sister die to save her was formative. She has no interest in romance, but is much more caring and nurturing than her grumpy face suggests.
Because Whitewing and Birchfall no longer have Dovewing and Ivypool, they get Spotfur and Duststripe instead!
Because Sorreltail didn't die in the battle, Duststripe is named after her grandfather instead.
For a similar reason, Spotfur's child Graykit is now named after their great-grandmother instead. Graystripe lives out the rest of his days in the mountains; Ferncloud must confront her brother.

Thunder Storm”, Clear Sky mewed. “We don’t have to do this. Just step aside, come back to me. We can have peace. Just join me.”
Thunder Storm stared at him in disbelief, claws unhooking from Clear Sky’s fur in shock.
“Peace? We tried to make peace with you, and you fought us every step. You killed a cat and stole her kits, just to expand your borders. You threw Tall Shadow to killers, just because she disagreed with you. You want no peace! All you wish for is power”, he snarled, “control.”
“And all that was for my cats!” Clear Sky said. “My Clan! You can be part of that, Thunder Storm. I’ll be willing to forgive you for your insolence if you just come back, join me. Join your father.”
Thunder Storm recoiled, rage burning like fire in his eyes, his heart, his very being.
“Father!? My one and only father lay dead by our feet”, he snarled, “your claws are still dripping with his blood! You are no father of mine!”
Clear Sky’s eyes hardened, and his lip curled into a snarl.
“Fine”, he growled, “if you wish to stand in my way, then I’ll take care of you, just like I did Shaded Flower.”
At that, he leapt at Thunder Storm, claws scoring down his fur, piercing his flesh. Thunder Storm clawed back at Clear Sky, jaws snapping at his throat. They wrestled, rolling over and over on the bloodied ground, before jumping apart, both breathing heavily.
Thunder Storm looked into Clear Sky’s cold eyes, and knew that he would not hesitate to kill Thunder Storm, nor would he regret it. He had only one chance to stop it all, prevent any more suffering by Clear Sky’s uncaring claws.
He leapt at Clear Sky, who jumped to meet him, and as they collided there was a bright light, accompanied a great roar. A bolt of lightning had struck the oak above them, and as they grappled with each other the tree creaked, a limb falling from the great trunk. Bright Storm saw it before they did, yowling out a warning.
“Look out above!”
Thunder Storm looked up and gasped, prompting Clear Sky to look up as well. They both scrambled away from the other, unwilling to be crushed. The branch crashed between them, right where they had been hardly a moment before. The other cats gradually stopped fighting, and it was as if the very world was holding its breath for how quiet it was, almost as if it were waiting for something.

Okay Yall! Here is a link to Thunder Order's family tree!
I am pretty sure that it is un editable, but please, if for some reason you can add things to character bios or add characters, dont! I have spent a REALLY long time on this!
How it works: you can click on different characters, which will change the tree to show you their relatives! You can also look up characters in the search bar at the bottom!
This link will not work very well on mobile, it works best on pc! So it may not even open if you are on mobile, sorry about that!
I am going to make a better master post with all my trees at some point , but Im just going to post this for now!

Sect Specialties
What Are Specialties?
Many cats have specialties- a job that a cat does often and well. Specialties come about for a variety of reasons; out of enjoyment of a specific task, simply because a cat does a task very well and therefore keeps getting assigned to do it, or because they have specific skills and/or abilities that make them great at some tasks and not-so-good at others. Specialties are like unofficial sub-ranks. There is no ceremony, but everyone in Thunder Sect knows that Commonclaw is a patrol specialist. A cat can specialize in numerous things at once; there's no limit to how many specialties they can have since it's all about their skills.
. . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆
Multi-Rank Specialties
Mentoring Some cats gravitate towards teaching. They spend more time with kittens, teaching them history or the codes, and they often volunteer to take on another apprentice or teach a Clanmate's apprentice when they're sick or injured.
Camp Keeping Camp keepers are the cats who spend time building dens and nests, keeping the camp clean and organized, and making sure the camp is well-defended.
. . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆
Warrior Specialties
Patrolling Patrol specialists are cats with high stamina who know how to pace themselves.
Hunting Hunting specialists are particularly skilled at stealth. They excel at the hunt itself instead of or alongside setting traps.
Messaging Messengers are the swiftest of the swift, and they're the ones who are most likely to be sent across the territory with important information.
. . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆
Healer Specialties
Medic Medics are healers who excel at thinking on the fly with limited medicinal supplies. They're often taken on patrols in case of border skirmishes or encounters with predators, and they're a great amount of help on battlefields.
. . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆
Sect-Specific Specialties
Trapping • Warrior Specialty • Shadow, River, & Wind Sects Trappers are skilled at both creating and setting traps. Thunder Sect believes that trapping is undignified and undermines the natural skill cats have in hunting; you will never catch a Thunderian making or setting any traps.
Gardening • Multi-Rank • Thunder Sect While almost all Thunderians garden, some seem to have a particular skill in it.
Swimming • Warrior Specialty • Shadow Sect As the Shadow Sect makes their home in a marsh, swimming is a skill that all Shadowers have at least a basic understanding of. Some Shadowers even enjoy swimming, and employ this specialty to hunt things like turtles!
Fishing • Warrior Specialty • Shadow Sect Fishing isn't a popular specialty in the Shadow Sect. Whereas in the River Sect it's a part of daily life, Shadowers tend to prefer other prey, like birds and lizards.
Artisans • Multi-Rank • River Sect Artisans are Riverish who are particularly skilled in pottery. They know where to find the best clay, how to mold it into the shape they want, how to paint and carve images into the pot, and where the sun dries it out the best.
Diving • Warrior Specialty • River Sect Divers can hold their breaths for a long time and are the ones who collect river oysters, clams, and mussels.
Land Hunting • Warrior Specialty • River Sect Land hunting is a relatively rare skill to find in the River Sect. While all Riverish have the basic knowledge on how to hunt on land, it's not often needed, as the river is large and plentiful.
Gardening • Healer Specialty • River Sect The garden specialty in the River Sect is very different from the one in the Thunder Sect. To the Riverish, gardening is reserved for healers and advisors and is only done with medicinal plants.
Weaving • Multi-Rank • Wind Sect A specialty most often found among those who find themselves with long stretches of time with nothing to do. Weavers sew, dye, and embroider blankets and tapestries using a variety of materials, including long grasses and rabbit hides.
Tending • Warrior Specialty • Wind Sect The only Sect to develop animal husbandry, the Wind Sect has cats who spend most of their time tending the animals they care for
