Be solution based

As the first day of school is getting close, remember to use this to teach your children how to be responsible and use positive techniques to get them to accomplish the goals set out for them. For example: Getting dressed in the morning may be a hassle, so give them instructions so they feel like they have control. Give them two options of clothing they can choose from that is weather appropriate and school appropriate and let them choose. Remember to look at the solution and not the problem.

Peanut has ALWAYS loved the Star Wars scores but hasn’t seen the movies (that she can remember, anyway). I decided to put on ANH to see if she’d like it, or even watch it for a bit, ha. She got soo into it! And when I pointed out R2D2, she immediately asked, “my shirt? Where’s my shirt mommy?!” so I ran up to grab it and helped put it on (anything to get clothes on her, right?). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She didn’t watch the entire movie; made it about a third in? But I think that’s pretty good for a three year old! And every time R2 beeped, she’d look around and go, “mommy’s phone! Where’s mommy’s phone?” (R2 is my text tone.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It was just a super sweet thing, to introduce her to something that has been apart of my life, got me through the hardest times, and even helped shape me in some ways; I hope as she gets older I can show her the other movies and the EU books as well. (And if she isn’t interested, not her thing, hey that’s okay too! 🇵🇱 Dwujęzyczna Maja (może można ja też nazwać wielojęzyczna bo włoski i hiszpański komunikatywnie ogarnia) nadal korzysta z @chameleon.reader który kupiliśmy do wspierania czytania w wielu językach. Dziękujemy mamie, która nam to cudo podesłała 🥰 Głos do wersji polskiej nagrała ciocia pomijając pojedyncze słowa, bo Maja już nie była nimi zainteresowana. 🇬🇧 Bilingual Maja (maybe we can call her multilingual as she can also communicate in Italian and Spanish) still uses @chameleon.reader which we bought to support reading in many languages. We would like to say thank you to one mum who recommended it to us 🥰 The voice in the Polish book belongs to Maja's auntie.
