Coming in here on hands and knees begging for evil emperor mark info. I want that emperor OBLITERATED.

He's not super fleshed out, but evil emperor mark rose to the top through violence and smarts. He's always been smarter and more thought out than the average mark, so even back when he was just invincible, hero of earth, mark had major plans for what to do and the future.

He acted, for the most part. He didn't actually care too much about humanity, only really his mom and William, and he had no interest in eve outside of "well, we'd make great offspring". Maybe Nolan was a little more open about viltrum with his son, after catching mark killing insects or making comments about how people should just die, when watching the news or movies.

In the beginning he just wanted to take over earth, just because he could, so he played the role of the perfect hero. Until he learned about viltrum, their empire, and the fact that they have an emperor, then he wanted THAT.

He's very selfish and possessive, he wants power, he wants rank, he wants to be feared and admired. But he also wants someone to keep up with him, a rival if you prefer, someone to keep him on his toes. Be it in physical battle, battle of the mind, or in bed.

Evil emperor mark likes being the best at everything, and he's at least a thousand years old when we meet him, so he's picked up a lot of different talents. Like music, art, architecture, agriculture, etc etc. he starts homesteading when joining the harem, to one up the other marks.

Emperor mark doesn't see sex as something for pleasure, at least until he ends up in the harem. Before that, it's treated like a fight, where he will bottom yes, but he is in no way submissive. He ends up completely changing the status quo of bottoms across the Galaxy cuz he's a known bottom, but a very very dominant bottom 😭

He's also got the greatest ass and body you've ever seen, soft in the right places, hard in the right places, he's like a sculpture made out of the most beautiful marble. All the scars littering his body is seen as attractive by him too, so he loves showing off.

He likes showing off, wearing jewelry and being pretty, but also handsome at the same time. The only time he's ever had kids in his original dimension, was so they could grow up and he could fight them. It's never him that was pregnant in his universe, as he saw that as beneath him.

Evil emperor mark is thraggs size or maybe a little bigger, and even stronger than thragg was. He killed thragg for his title, and the two might have banged once or twice before mark killed him like a female praying mantis when done mating.

Sure can! (Also some minor spoilers with a like more mild spoiler that's in an image so like, it's censored but poorly so, yeah just a warning!)

- first and foremost to give some very minor future spoilers, there is something you have to understand: even by Viltrumite standards Thragg is considered Way Too Hardcore and there are men like Conquest who are even worse, more shortsighted, and bloodthirstier than him. There ARE Viltrumites who think their society is way too unfeeling and heartless and they DO want to love and be normal and have loving families but this is a... a society with an ancient culture with traditions that are being upheld by force that keep the general Viltrumite populace living in misery and Thragg is a huge enforcer of this unhappy lifestyle. Like shit in one of the newest episodes of Invincible a bunch of Viltrumites rocked up to Mark and beat the absolute shit out of him and Kregg (eyepatch guy) was like "yeah you survived getting the shit beat out of you which proves you're strong and worthy of your viltrumire heritage, so I'm drafting you into the Viltrum army, do what we say or we'll beat the shit out of you" AND THATS ONE OF THE GOOD VILTRUMITES. Like literally Viltrum society is terrifying and once you start learning the lengths with which they enforce their beliefs and rules you'll see why Nolan was like, trying to force Mark to be like him; you resist and they DEMOLISH YOU. Nolan was and still is TERRIFIED of Viltrum and rightfully so

- a yandere thragg is quite literally a character who does not know affection or how to display or receive it in any way whatsoever because his entrenchment in the "traditional viltrumite mindset" and his own greed for power and absolute control makes him incredibly impersonal. Like I'm serious even with the like magical yandere cooties that make him finally understand what love or obsession is, he will literally have to learn the ropes of caring for you as another person and this is a man who has been taught empathy and kindness make you weak so like. Yeah. Like we're talking about a guy who at some point is gonna watch his hybrid children literally splatter as he throws them, literally throws them, at enemies too strong for them and then blames his kids for not being stronger, like. Thragg is a monster and there's no ifs ands or buts about it

-the most romantic this man can come up with is walking straight up to you and telling you "I want to mate" to your face and having gifts made for you from planets he's conquered or things he's killed and that's the best he's got. He doesn't understand the more emotional psychological side of love but he at least understands that sex is something mates do and that it's a bonding experience between you and him and it's a physical pleasure, vulnerability thing. Mated animals have sex and human mates have sex so the two of you are going to have sex alright? He also won't admit it but like. Holding you after sex or letting you rest against him afterwards is the closest you'll get to cuddling because like. He's not gonna ask to cuddle with you just for the sake of cuddling. And even if he ever wanted to (the desire grows with time lol), he would just sit down beside you and pull you into his lap, he wouldn't ask your permission

-like seriously you'll be in bed and it's like 2 am and you'll be woken up by him suddenly rolling you over without any sort of warning, "i want to mate" and that's just. It. You get to lie there as he folds you like a pretzel

-this man fucks just to cum and I think the only way he could be a good lover is if he's big with stamina and you'll reach orgasm through sheer overstimulation and time dedicated because, you want me to believe this man knows foreplay? You think Thragg can eat ass? Please. I feel like in the depths of. You're taken along with him to where he works and you walk into the room and he's just absolutely soaked in blood and there's some sort of creature being dismantled in front of him and he turns to you, "this creature has a carapace that can be crafted into fine armor. does its color please you" "y-yes?" "Very well. We shall have a matching set ready by the evening and then we shall mate" "o-ok... thank you Grand Regent" "begone, this area is not safe for you, return to the central hall and await my return" "ok, sure, yeah... I mean, yes Grand Regent"

- yes, even as his mate you'll be calling him his title all the time, although I imagine once he starts really "softening up" he'll demand you call him his name or even "husband" and not doing so and using his title on purpose in defiance will anger him

-absolutely convinced I shit you not that Viltrumites have a duality of "their photos/shrines of you have you either looking as soft and harmless and helpless as possible or they have entire collages of you looking absolutely pissed or doing violent shit" and I'm convinced Thragg would find you being angry hot. Idk. I feel like it's entirely contextual. You give HIM too much lip, he may have to physically punish you, but maybe you get furious at someone else and start tearing into them, even wanting to fight? Obviously depending on context he'll encourage you to tear that person to shreds

- I'm stuck on whether he's a "will watch you get your ass beaten because he wants you to toughen up/fight your own fights" or "if anyone scratches you they're paste" kind of guys. Like can you imagine some, tenured centuries old Viltrumite manages to just absolute piss you off and you're yelling and screaming and swinging on them (maybe you're a human, hybrid, Viltrumite yourself, whatever) and they're just. Forced to stand there and take it. Because the SECOND they so much as GRAB YOU, there's the Grand Regent to absolutely beat their ass. You could almost kill them and Thragg is like goading you on but if they BRUISE YOU like, that's it, it's so one-sided

-I'm just saying, like. Nolan literally used Mark to tear apart an entire subway car of people and was casually offing humans left and right because his status as an almost immortal alien has made him kind of indifferent to other forms of life so like. What the fuck would Thragg do to a Reader who just got their powers and didn't want to work for the Empire or be part of it or even be around him. You cannot convince me this man wouldn't kill so many people directly in front of you. Or even just as a human yourself. Imagine him just tearing through tons of other people because he's trying to scare you onto line. I mean. Nolan was literally ripping people's heads and faces off and tearing out chunks of their body with their bare hands. These people casually break each other's bones and CAN SURVIVE DISEMBOWLING EACH OTHER like. You cannot tell me Thragg wouldn't just literally tear a human in half right in front of you like a kid with a butterfly.

- Thragg is absolutely on that "goes from being extremely distant and nonverbal to all but spending every second of the day with you and gets agitated if you're in a different room for too long" yandere pipeline. This man goes from not knowing how to properly hold a conversation with you to Oh My God If You Don't Sit In My Lap During My War Council Meeting I Will Be SUCH A Bitch About It

Let's just say if you're shooting the shots, you can impregnate as many creatures as you want but if you're the one capable of being pregnant he doesn't want to let you do SHIT because he doesn't want his baby carrying inferior spawn or having a risky pregnancy. I can't even imagine like. Being his kid and being powerless, or like temporarily powerless. You have one of those manhwa level neglected childhoods and you grow into a depressed husk and suddenly your powers appear and you're naturally gifted and like above average in everything and Thragg wants to suddenly bond with you and you just look right through him like you wouldn't care if he suddenly dropped dead right in front of you. Someone disrespected you and you just take it because you still remember running up to your father as a child and being shoved away amd he literally doesn't even understand why you have no respect for yourself so he then tries to smother you to make up for lost time

Idk. I'm caught between multiple ideas because I like the idea of Thragg going "oh so you're fragile and powerless? You're literally never leaving my side ever again, if something wants to harm you they'll have to kill me first" and this extends to you just having no life of your own. Maybe he forces you to be a clerk or something for him, papers and desk work and whatnot, something that keeps you safe and close and if you get so much as a sniffle there's an entire array of royal doctors to treat you

That being said, daughter, son, wife, husband, partner, whatever, you're not getting away from this guy. The only things capable of hurting him are essentially alien technology, Viltrumite strength, being a species stronger than a Viltrumite, magic, like... he's invulnerable, he's invincible, he's way too strong, way too fast, and way too mean. He'll keep you on your toes and he'll casually pop heads in front of you like it's talking about the weather if it keeps you in line. If he wants you to be his soldier, you'll be his soldier. If he wants you to be his personal guard, you will be. His mate? No objections need be considered. He's always taken what he wants - that's how he was raised and what his society encourages - and that means acquiring you and absorbing you into his life is no different

Invincible Spoilers [Viltrumite Thoughts]

When the big purge happened, the most peaceful and well adjusted Viltrumites died because they were deemed “weak”. We know this, the culture died and was replaced with the current regime and ideology. The best parents would have died too, the ones who would never think to kill their kids for being weak.

But the remaining Viltrumites would have still varied in how committed to the cause they were, even if they kept it secret. There would have been couples that really were in love, in private or no. Men and women who managed to crack each other’s hard exteriors and win the soft heart hidden inside.

For all the awful things that twisted love in the empire, the real thing never truly died. Children were still being born to parents that would do everything they could to prove they were strong enough to live. Couples still sacrificed their time for each other and for family. They were people, people vary in how warm they are and how much their career means to them.

The plague is what took out the romantics and the ones who desired children.

It killed the type of people who chose to get to know each other after training, slowly falling in love.

It killed the type who had “lesser” jobs and therefore more free time to enjoy another’s company and raise children.

It killed the generals and soldiers whose children and grandchildren loved their stories about other worlds.

It killed the ones that were getting by in a regime they didn’t fully agree with, but had to live in.

The 50 who survived were the strongest and most loyal to the regime. Thragg being the most deluded of them all and the face of their twisted beliefs.

It left individuals who would never have considered romance or parenthood. The ones who believed that there would always be someone having children

Some, like Anissa, didn’t want anything to do with opening up to somebody or “wasting time” on a child that may be weak. Or like Conquest, whose true love was violence, and only violence.

Others were overachievers that saw romance as a distraction from their training and missions.

I can easily see Nolan after hours in the training room, scoffing to himself at a couple who is spending time on “nothing”. He’s more concerned with the “important things”. Until Debbie corrected him at the baseball game, he hadn’t considered recreation as anything more than a distraction.

Maybe he never would have taken up writing, if not for the need to keep track of his old missions inconspicuously. Maybe book one started with a short draft that read like a brief report. I picture him begrudgingly going to a human library and checking out books on astronauts. Having to replay finer details of the mission in his head and change them to sound more human. Maybe that’s how he figured out he liked writing.

Kregg and Luthan probably never thought about romance and parenthood until it became their mission. Maybe they had never stopped to think that they might like it. And I doubt they’re the only ones.

If you’ve ever held someone else’s baby and felt scared you’d drop it, you wouldn’t be alone. But humans are pretty good at moving past that fear. We learn how to be gentle from our youth. We know how to handle an infant without hurting it.

Imagine being someone who never thought about having a child, from a world where it’s considered a waste of time with your long lifespan. And then you have to have a baby, because your people are dying off. You were never taught how to be gentle, you were never taught how to care for a baby. But now you must.

I think Nolan was the first to feel a deep, paranoid fear of crushing his child. If a baby Viltrumite is weak, and a human adult is like an ant, how weak must the half-human baby be? Man probably thought he could breathe on Mark wrong and he’d explode.

And then when the others had their kids, they felt the same way. [Except Thragg. He built different.] For the men, this was the easiest to deal with. Nolan, Kregg and Luthan could all leave their children with their wives. It’s normal for the baby to spend its early days close to mom. It gave them time to have breaks from the newfound fear and to get used to handling the baby despite it.

Thula had to handle the baby so much more, but she had a human husband to give her a break when she needed it. When the fear of accidentally crushing the baby got too loud to ignore.

I think the reason Anissa sought out a human husband after everything she did was because she couldn’t handle the baby on her own. Perhaps she thought it was because the babies were part human that all her peers were disgustingly shaken.

But that wasn’t it at all. They all would have still been petrified of hurting the babies even if they were full blooded. They were all petrified because they were responsible for fulfilling a mission none of them were prepared for. One where failure could mean extinction. For the first time in a long time, every new life was valuable in their eyes and the eyes of their regime.

It hadn’t felt so important to these people in particular when the empire flourished. They had never considered the love and sacrifices and fear of failure that “weaker” Viltrumites felt when they raised their kids in the heyday. They sacrificed their time for the cause and didn’t leave room for relationships. None of them knew how much their lives were about to change.

Family became a priority for them when it never was before.

Average child shenanigans surprised them because they never got to experience normal childhoods.

They had to learn how to respond to child’s play.

And how to give advice/discipline a child. It made them think differently over time.

new invincible oc!

cele grayson aka celestial !

Cele was an artificially grown viltrumite that was apart of a secret project to help repopulate viltrum. They were the only baby that lived through the full gestational period and didn’t die after their birth. They were born august 6th, 1999

Cele was made by taking the DNA of a woman who had died during the scourge virus and of nolan grayson. It was done without his knowledge, he never knew about these experiments as they were only known about by the highest ranking viltrumites. The whole project being personally overseen by grand regent thragg who wanted to find a way to effectively create purebloods without having to mix them with other species.

They spent their early years constantly observed and studied. Days consisted of near endless experiments and exams. They were treated more like a lab rat than an actual person with all their actions under heavy supervision, monitored by thragg who was the only viltrumite they were allowed to interact with during this time. When their powers manifested at the age of 7 training immediately began. Since they were the only success of the program Thragg decided to make sure Cele was a powerful weapon for the empire. Personally taught by Thragg and cared for by General Thula, they came to see her as a pseudo mother figure during this time.

At the age of 14 they were officially made a solider and allowed to go on missions with other viltrumites. At 19 they were put in charge of a planet that had anomalies that defied physics. After a year of being left mostly to themselves the stress finally began to eat away at them and their mental health took a sharp decline. One day during a visit from the generals a gravitational anomaly opened up a miniature black hole in their mental distress and anguish they threw themselves into the blackhole, it later devouring the entire planet with her. The generals barely escaped and witnessed the entire thing believing cele to be dead.

Instead they were spat out into the multiverse from a white hole and spent the next few years surviving on their own and trying to learn how to use their new powers. When they suddenly were spat back out into their universe, they were instead in the Milky Way galaxy instead of the Andromeda galaxy. Remembering that the other viltrumites told him that their father was on earth they headed there.

Only to find out he had just left a few weeks prior after a huge fight with his son, mark. Now they have to adjust to life on earth while they hide from the empire out of fear of being found.

Themes:

With Cele i wanted to really explore the idea of “What you were made for vs. What you want to be”. As well as the trauma that came with their upbringing and them coming to terms with the lack of self worth they tend to feel and the martyr complex he develops from this trauma too.

Another major theme is the “found family” trope. Cele from a young age has always looked for parental figures and people they can feel close too since they were little but their first pseudo parents (thragg, thula) barely treated them as a true person with autonomy. When she comes to earth and meets mark and debbie they begin to really learn what a family should be. This gives them the courage to begin making friends on earth and letting people into their lives.

Powers

Viltrumite Abilities

Superhuman Strength: Cele has strength of a well trained viltrumite of their age allowing them to perform extreme feats. (One such example was when they held up the upper half of a mountain by themselves on earth during a major disaster. Scientists calculate the mass held and then placed back was anywhere from 200-400 tones)

Superhuman Speed: Cele can move at extreme speeds both on foot and in the air. Allowing him to travel around any space with extreme ease. They can fly from the earths surface to the moon in a matter of minutes. They also are capable of traveling through space on their own.

Superhuman Stamina: Due to her smart atoms Cele’s body rarely tires and is capable of physical exertion for long periods of time without becoming fatigued.

Superhuman Durability: Cele’s tissues are extremely durable to the point of almost invulnerability. While they can be damaged by other viltrumites or beings stronger than her they can withstand damage that would vaporize and easily kill a normal human. Able to withstand falling from a planet’s atmosphere onto its surface, nuclear weaponry, the surface of stars and are now invulnerable to black holes.

Flight: like any viltrumite they can manipulate the atoms around them which allows them flight. They are able to reach light speeds when flying but only do so in space.

Superhuman Equilibrium: Cele has a very enhanced sense of balance. However this sensitive process which takes place in their ears means that like any viltrumite, they could be harmed by a specific frequency which would incapacitate them and make them unable to even fly or stand upright.

Superhuman Senses: Cele possesses acutely enhanced senses. Such as hearing, smell and sight. This can also lead to them becoming easily overstimulated, especially when they arrive on earth.

Accelerated Regeneration: her body can recover from injuries at an extreme rate. Even capable of regenerating full organs, nerves and bones. As long as their heart isn’t severely damaged they can and will heal.

Decelerated Aging: like all viltrumites they have an extremely long lifespan. While they are only currently 24, they will appear the same for many centuries. Viltrumites live for many thousands of years, their own father Nolan is over 2000 years old and appears middle aged.

Non-Viltrumite Abilities

(manifest after the black hole accident)

Pocket dimensional void (PDV): Cele can access their own pocket dimension which they refer too as the "void". It is a black oxygen-less miniature dimension that is seemingly endless, although it hasn't been measured. It is mainly used by cele as a sort of infinite storage space, any item placed in here that is not an animal of some kind will stay in the exact same state as it was when placed inside. They also use it asa place to safely decompress and calm down at times.

Dark Matter Portals: Can create portals made of dark matter. These portals can either open up to the PDV or function as traditional portals that teleport an individual from place to place. If too many are opened at once and/or kept open it can quickly tire out cele and even cause them to pass out. It's one of the things that can truly exhaust them.

Gravitational Invulnerability: They are impervious to the gravitational pull of any black hole and seemingly unaffected by them where anything else would be pulled and stretched into its singularity. It is unknown if cele can fully enter into a black hole again and what would happen

Celestial Body Connection: a new manifestation that sometimes suddenly means they feel the power of whatever celestial body they are nearest too. They have no control over this and currently it means they can become completely overwhelmed with the strength of these ancient creatures that are far more powerful and knowing that herself. Perhaps one day they could harness this power but for now it remains more of a hindrance

Singularity: the creation of a very specific type of portal that is a miniature blackhole. No other portals can be active when this is done. Extremely unstable ability thatcan leave cele seriously wounded. The singularity is a writhing, bubbling ultra-condensed amount of gravity that takes a massive amount of strength and energy to control. Only done in space as to not bring harm to any celestial bodies immediately nearby because if it was done directly on top of them it could possibly begin to immediately pull in the planet or star.

-The longer cele does this the more they lose control of it. Once their sclera turn black and their irises begin to glow it means he will be left seriously injured. Their eyes will remain in that state (except their irises will no longer glow) until they are fully healed.

Inspirations

Ellie Williams: while I will say there’s no main inspiration for cele. I do draw a lot of their personality and behavior from ellie. The struggle to survive and stay alive that that then clashes with having to try and “fit in” when arriving in Jackson is something that very much mirrors Cele’s experience with arriving on earth. And cele like ellie has very little issue about hurting/killing others if it means it helps them get to their goal. The world has made them a bit jaded and awkward but there is still much love underneath that

Rei Ayanami: I mainly pulled from the idea that rei was made to be a tool for NERV and taught to be loyal and obedient no matter what. As well as the aesthetic of the lighter hair for cele, they were made to be tool for the viltrum empire and to further its goals. So when they are pulled into the black hole into the multiverse and then spat back out and they head to earth, this all crushes their world view. They learn they aren’t some weapon or tool to be fought over but rather a person with their own agency

Prince Zuko: cele struggles a lot with the internal battle of “what you were taught” and growing out of that mindset. They are constantly compared to their father growing up and then begin to realize on earth that comparison isn’t something to strive for. They spend a lot of time on earth learning to be more vulnerable and making connections while overcoming their viltrumite programming

Princess Azula: cele like azula was the prodigy of their peoples respective leader. They were seen much more of a tool than a person and constantly pushed themselves to be the best they could be. Becoming very powerful at the young age, they have learned to study their opponents and analyze them to find immediate weakness. A tool they will use to help take down the viltrum empire

Okay I literally never do this but episode 7 was so good I gotta do an episode review.

Spoilers ahead obviously

First things out of the way: FUCK FUCK WHY IS SHE HERE FUCK OH MY GOD JESUS CHRIST. When she slammed Mark into that crater I legit began hyperventilating (albeit very lightly). I was so not ready for her to show up and oh my god, the terror conveyed in Zazie's voice acting was legit. That fight scene absolutely kicked ass though, I got hyped as hell when Mark dropped that "no". Now that she's in the show I really hope she doesn't garner any fans because WOW they are gonna be in for a shock. And lastly FUCK YEAH ALLEN KICK HER ASS.

The breakup scene was fantastic. The episode focusing on so much of their relationship kinda made it clear something was gonna happen but when Mark changed up his schedule for her I was like "oh that's really nice" and then she showed up. As I said that was all fantastic, from Cecil's panicking to Amber's terror the presentation was great. Although now that they're broken up, I really hope they go somewhere else with Amber that isn't... that storyline.

REX IS THE GOAT. I love how he just tells Mark "pick a day and we'll cover for you". An absolute bro for sure, I'm loving his character arc. Can't wait for everyone to learn his origin and be like "oh shit" like after Eve's special. Speaking of which, do ya think we're gonna get a Rex-focused special about his origin like we did Eve?

Donald talking Rick down from the ledge and learning about himself in doing so was fantastic. We stan Donald. And man, am I glad they replaced Justin. Like, I know they had to after his actions came to light but also if I'm being honest I despised Rick's voice. Justin was good for silly characters but if I had to listen to him try to do the emotional segments I would've pulled a Rick (sanchez) and put my head in a lazer.

Still don't like Immortal's sad arc. Don't get me wrong, they're doing an awesome job with everything post Kate's "death" but the fact that we literally never saw anything more of their relationship than a shower fuck kinda makes it hard to feel anything when he talks about how sad he is.

Last but not least, OH SHIT OH FUCK IT'S HIM IT'S... *checks notes* Langstrom Sleazy...?

Look I'm sorry I like Angstrom and that end reveal was AWESOME and I am so scared and excited for what's definitely gonna be the plot of season 3 but also I can never remember his fucking name for the life of me and I have no idea why.

Anyway with Anissa here at least that means Thragg's not far behind. Hell we might see him next episode what with the whole prison thing.

Opinion on Thragg's casting

I totally think Thragg should be voiced by T.C. Carson or Chris Judge!

Because think abt it, Anissa is voiced by the actress who plays Becca Butcher (Shantel VanSanten)

If you know the characters you know the fucking Irony...

So having Thragg be voiced by a Kratos VA would also be a nice lil' Easter Egg.

If T.C. Carson, it could be a reference to how Kratos was so bloodlusted and war-like in the Greek saga. Thragg and Young Kratos' personalities are similar inn more ways than not.

If Chris Judge, it could be an opposite to how good of a parent Kratos became, and how he learned to leave his violent ways and Be Better for the sake of his loved ones, whereas Thragg was the Shittiest Father™ in the storyline, and that's when the comics has plenty of shitty fathers already. It could also be referencing the path Kratos was afraid to choose again, and the past he left behind.

Overall I think it would be a pretty damn cool easter egg and a nice little nod, even though Shantel was probably chosen because she worked for the studio before and Santa Monica studios has no relations to this show at all, so it may be harder for this to happen but one can hope.

Hi! I wanted to ask if you could share some things about Daareios (I love viltrumite ocs and your art is so pretty!!!!). Like what happens to him at the end of invincible? what's his reaction to Thraggs manipulation AND death (and maybe some hcs?)

HELLO ANON THANK YOUUU FOR THIS ASK!!! 💜 So the thing about Daareios is that I initially made him as a joke/meme OC, as he was only supposed to be a guy that annoys Thragg by merely existing. But I got attached and turned him into a very tragic character instead. His story is not a happy one.

MAJOR INVINCIBLE COMIC SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT

In the most canon compliant version of his story, his role would be that of Thragg’s loyal dog until the very end.

He’d side with Thragg after Nolan takes the throne, and he’d be exiled along with him. During the years in which Thragg builds his army on Thraxa, Daareios would do his best to fulfil his every whim, and he’d desperately wish that Thragg would eventually consider him someone important to him. He’d latch onto this foolish wish and wait patiently, looking for signs that the Grand Regent considers him something more than just a subordinate, deluding himself into thinking that he just needs to do a little more, be a little bit better, until Thragg finally gives him that honor.

But it never happens. Daareios would keep chasing that dream, and it would lead to his death.

During the big conflict between Thragg and Nolan’s Empire, Daareios would try his best to keep Mark busy, so Thragg can deal with the usurper. But he’d underestimate his foe and make a mistake, which would lead to Mark killing him.

Daareios wouldn’t die immediately – he’d still be conscious for a few moments, floating in space, trying his hardest to stay alive and help Thragg. In his last moments, he’d reach out to him .. and realize that Thragg doesn’t even spare him a glance.

And instead of finally realizing that his loyalty had been misplaced, he just thinks that he should have done better. That he wasn’t good enough for Thragg to care after all. He dies feeling like a disappointment. 💔💔💔

ITS SO CRUEL I KNOW … but fitting for his journey, he’s been doomed by the start … im sure that in some other timelines he had a happier ending 💜 Regarding some random lore bits that come to mind:

He’s kind of a clean freak, doesn’t like getting blood on his clothes and definitely not on his skin.

He’s secretly very intimidated by Thula and likes her and Conquest the least.

He’s usually very quiet unless a superior asks him to speak or he has to report something. He has a very strong case of ‘resting bitch face’, so nobody really approaches him otherwise.

His feelings towards Thragg are very complicated and can’t really be labeled. He sees him as a superior first of all, but there’s also an almost childish need to have his attention/praise/to make him proud, which is far from professional. Perhaps he also sees a pseudo-parental figure in him, but at the same time he’s also attracted to him. It’s a mess because Daareios (like any other Viltrumite) has no concept of love, but he also has trouble controlling his emotions, unlike most other Viltrumites who are so perfectly composed all the time. It makes it doubly difficult when his crippling self-doubt combines with his need for approval and attachment issues. He’s just … really not okay. 😢

ON A LIGHTER NOTE … in an AU where he makes better choices and ends up alive by the end of the story, AND joins the other Viltrumites on Earth, he’d be really into music. Specifically, he’d enjoy metal, and he’d wear appropriate fashion and grow out his hair. He’d also learn to play various instruments, guitar being the first. Maybe he’d even try to write songs of his own.

His favorite food on Earth would be anything sweet – not really chocolates, but fruits rather. Give him an apple pie or a peach cobbler and he’ll do anything for you.

He’d be fascinated by Earth nature/flora/fauna and travel a lot. He’d take hikes and spend a lot of time away from civilization. His favorite animals would be reptilians and snakes of any kind. I bet the first time he visited an animal sanctuary and had the opportunity to put a friendly python around his shoulders he had tears in his eye.

Random Invincible OC Thoughts.

When I think about it… Jason being the only thing left of his mother that Thragg cares about breaks me. But here’s a cute little Romance headcanon for Jason and Eve.

Jason is refreshingly sweet. His love language is physical touch and intimacy. But he scales back when needed and his backup kicks in.

He listens. Eve’s calming to him. He likes her voice, her heartbeat, everything. (And yes he tried to flirt with her and it crashed and burned.)

Eve on the other hand wonders how the hell he hasn’t snapped yet. But she’s glad he’s not gone full world conqueror. She hasn't really seen him get angry and that's good.

Their relationship is founded on a mutual trust and the fact that she helped him get started. Also with her parents…

Jason tunes her dad completely out. His mom was a hero too and she’d shift her morals a little bit for the toxicity of misogyny. AKA Reyna goes into crashout mode and beats the ever-loving shit out of them.

Thragg would just… stare. It’d be like Viggo the Carpathian. Hallways of blood and everything. That or he’s thinking about the Twins. But both would be cordial to her mother.

SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT!

The Vs. Conquest fight would be similar. But the difference is that here's what I got so far...

Eve's body falls with a sickening squelch, everything fades out, ears ringing and her heartbeat thunders quick, trying to force herself to stay alive.

Conquest watches as I catch her, "See, this is why I hate that. They're easy TARGETS!" he flies right for me and I stop his fake arm right in its tracks, no rage. No unending hate. Just…

"I can't hear her heartbeat anymore." my voice hollows out, eyes distant. I can't hear it, I can't look at her and feel everything click.

Tearing, crunching, the arm bursts to metal and piping. The blood bursts out of his stump and he grins.

"There he is! There's Thragg's brat!" I spin around and kick him into the ground.

"First. This is my planet." I state, he tries to close the distance but I punch him hard in the face, the feeling of his bones bending and crackling under my fist…

It's awesome.

"Secondly." he tries to wriggle away, but I grip him as tight as I can, "I can spare you, but of course as the 'oldest Viltrumite' you're running out of time."

Conquest feels fear for the first time. He got Jason mad, but that awakened his Viltrumite side. His only thought is of his mission. And what's the mission?

Avenge Eve, Protect Earth, Send a message to Emperor Nolan that will not be denied.

Eve dies, but I want to focus much more on her recovery, same with at least one of the twins. Not sure if I want it to be Ursaal or Onaan. (Because both will be in the story in the place of Oliver.)

Like maybe Eve has issues with her prosthetic? She has Jason for support, and he's happy to help but at the same time there's some Aesthetic Nervousness on his part, not really knowing how to deal with it.

Like him being a little nervous and hovering around her and she's like... "What are you doing?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, Jay. What's with you?"

"I mean... your leg's..."

"Oh my god, I'm fine."

He gets a little clingy, maybe a little too protective but scales back quite a bit.

Also I think it'd be cool to have her metal leg still be shown, instead of covered by synthetic skin. (At least I think it's synthetic skin.)

So he learns alongside her to deal with it. Also the Bulletproof to Invincible arc happens because Jason's sticking around with Eve just in case, as well as losing his powers from the Scourge.
